Could do with a little more attention to detail on the cleaning side. The curtains were hanging off in the living room of the chalet, just required new clips, and mattress and pillow protectors on the beds would be a good idea. I was also disappointed as there was no information to hand about what entertainment was happening in the evening or structure to the closing times of the pizza kitchen. I go appreciate that we were on holiday out of season but when you're offering a service etc..
Martine from Deal (01 October 2016)

The caravan was dirty and had dirty sheets on the beds. After telling customer services, we came back from our day out with a sheet on the dining table for us to put on ourselves. There was a hoover in the cupboard which we tried to use but as it was so full up it created even more dirt and dust. We found dirty old black sweets stuffed down the sofas. We were across the road from all the facilities which was not lit up at all at night so crossing the road was like a game of chicken. There are no pavements for you to walk on so you are constantly having to stop to move out of the way of cars. Not ideal with a young family!!! was disappointed with the bingo in the clubhouse. Only played one full house and that was it! the swimming pool needs a major refurb.. it's been the same for over 20 years (i went there when I was a child)
Helen from Hertfordshire (01 October 2016)

We had a great time at whitecliffe bay. Good site with good facilities and dog friendly too. Brilliant being close to the beach which is also dog friendly all year round. Will certainly use this site again.
Janet from Tamworth (01 October 2016)

Very pleased on arrival, did not expect this quality for the. Money! excellent chalet, well appointed ,stroke of genius was the "welcome pack". enjoyed the quizzes and thought the cabaret act was excellent! put their heart and soul into it.would stay again excellent base.
Brian from Harrow Middx (30 September 2016)

Nice clean chalet.arrived early evening had problem finding someone to issue key.overall enjoyed site
Ruth from Norwich (24 September 2016)

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at whitecliff bay holiday park. Our chalet was comfortable and clean and had all of the necessary equipment for a self-catering holiday. The restaurant and club were excellent and the food was delicious. We will, definitely, return.
Dennis from Selsdon, Surrey. (24 September 2016)

Great location, lovely peaceful park with nice views and free wifi. Helpful staff, good shop. Swimming pool quite small and could do with an upgrade but all in all a very nice break and we would stay again when travelling to the isle of wight.
Daphne from Stevenage (19 September 2016)

We had a great time. The staff were very friendly. Definitely go back.
Heather from Cambridge (17 September 2016)

Great little holiday! lovely park. Good points: caravan, swings for kids, restaurants, . bad points: kids entertainment did not start till 8pm which is far too late to start!! music in kids soft player area too loud!. would def go back!
Karen from Hemel Hempstead (16 September 2016)

The swimming pool is dangerous. My son (2) kept falling over whilst walking and holding my hand. the pool staff agreed that it was too slippery. unfortunatly my son fell over again and banged his head on the floor tiles. he was walking not running. then my husband cut his finger on a broken tile at the bottom of the pool.
Sue from Southampton (09 September 2016)

The chalet was old fashioned and our room had lods of spider webs in and out of it. . rest was all fine. Kids liked the play area day and at night. Would prefer a lodge accommodation next time.
Jasinder (09 September 2016)

Very nice park but chalet accommodation not the best. Will book caravan next time.
Jennifer from Upminster (05 September 2016)

As a base fine however we arrived on first night went to eat in bar no food gas problems went to the club (takeaway food) no hot food as chef had gone thought holiday season over 1st sept next night half of menu off as freezer broke down really! had one meal on last night food not great staff unhelpful.parking outside budget rooms nightmare muddy and each night had to park long way from room not nice lovely location
Forde from Frensham (05 September 2016)

Lovely family holiday destination with easy driveable access to ferry and all isle of wight attractions.
Joe from Eastbourne (03 September 2016)

I think this caravan park is lovely but think the entertainment for children could be better and also the swimming pool is very dated and doesn't look like it does on website, pool is very small and is not clean and also showers didn't work in changing room, really needs updating as this lets the whole holiday down .
Danielle from Morden Surrey (03 September 2016)

Great location. Accommodation was clean and comfortable (though the floor of the cabin did need cleaning). staff were great. Some of the amenities were a bit tired but still great for a young family.
Benedict (02 September 2016)

Had a lovely holiday but the whole place needs a re vamp and more staff! wasn"t worth the money we paid for it but would go there again if it was cheaper or it was cleaned and decorated , we only used it for a base so it didn"t bother us too much ,
Customer 17 from Southampton (02 September 2016)

Fantastic break entertainment not so good
Richard from Birmingham (02 September 2016)

Had a great holiday can't recommend enough
Belinda from Hundon (02 September 2016)

The park itself was lovely but the accommodation was awful for the cost. It was clean but very dated and damp. also, our outbound ferry crossing had the departure time put back an hour by hoseasons but nobody advised us of this. on the whole, the accommodation was a major let down.
Kim from Lancashire (02 September 2016)

Great for base to look around and go places but not the best caravan park. Amenities are very poor and are outdated. Some staff ok, but bar staff come accross a bit rude and entertainment wasn't the greatest.
Pete (02 September 2016)

Nice place for a holiday, recommended. Lacked cleanliness in few areas.
Vineet from Berkshire (29 August 2016)

Enjoyed our stay. This was our first family vacation after a while. Had loving memories.
Vishal from London (29 August 2016)

Fab location, steep walk back from the bay so not suitable for all, however beautiful quiet beach would highly recommend
Ruth from Leigh On Sea, Essex (29 August 2016)

Kids were happy
Erica from London (29 August 2016)

Excellent location for exploring the iow. Family atmospehre, friendly and well layed out.
Phil from Buckingham (27 August 2016)

Great caravan as brand new. Only used the ñ . facilities in the evening as only at sites for 3 night's so was sightseeing island all day. Would return again
Richard from Kent (22 August 2016)

It was very nice
Harinder from Hounslow (22 August 2016)

Lovely stay. Look forward to going again
Christopher from Sussex (22 August 2016)

Whitecliffe bay holiday park was a fantastic choice for our family of five with children ages ranging from 8 to 15. We used the swimming pools, there was an outdoor pool and an indoor pool, which was great but unfortunately the showers were not so great but we went back to our caravans and had our showers. There was direct beach access which we loved. We also had a go at the archery which we enjoyed. We didn't stay long enough to do any other other activities. We also didn't use any other facilities such as the restaurant, bar or entertainment. The location of the holiday park was a fair drive from amenities such as shops and food outlets. The shop did look well stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we went to the isle of wight we would definitely consider staying there again.
Azizun from Luton (22 August 2016)

Amazing park beautifully clean caravan and staff couldn't have done more for us.loved it so much we're booked for next year!!
Nicola from Kent (22 August 2016)

We had the most amazing time at whitecliff bay. The food was great, the staff very helpful and the views were incredible. The open air cinema was a nice touch and the clubs really entertaining, my 11 year old loved it. I can't wait to go back!
Erica from Hextable, Kent (15 August 2016)

Our first holiday to. Isle of wight and we all. Loved it , such a great holiday park, everything we needed from outdoor activities to the evening entertainment , hope to come back next year !
Customer 33 from Kent (15 August 2016)

The park was fine to use as a base. Good main entertainment room. Caravan exceptionally small for 8, facilities at the park very shabby especially the nab bar and all lifeguards bar the one with the mohican were very rude.
Tonia (15 August 2016)

We didn't enjoy our stay. The caravan was very dirty and old. Lots of things were broken. Plus the restaurant on site was very poorly run, food had long waiting times and wasn't very nice.
Natalie from Hampshire (15 August 2016)

Great place, weather helped. Chalet could do with updating but absolutely fine for 3 nights when out all day. Staff were great and kids evening entertainment was good fun
David (15 August 2016)

Fantastic location and great park. We had a budget chalet and were really impressed by the standard of the rooms which were all very clean and tidy. The outdoors pool was very good and the attendants very helpful, chatty and friendly. an excellent holiday and we would certainly go again
Adrian from Sandhurst (13 August 2016)

Had a great time, would recommend this park to friends and family xx
Elaine from Surrey (13 August 2016)

The outdoor pool was excellent, food in the restaurant and bar good. the setting on top of the cliffs was lovely, but the path to the beach was too steep, facilities for older children eg 11 years old, limited, probably more suited to younger children, the camp shop was really poor, just about basic essentials but little else. . our caravan although lovely was on the camping site, not part of the main complex and with a long walk to facilities.
Margaret from Colchester (13 August 2016)

Loved everything. Thank you.
Tim from Brighton (12 August 2016)

Very good facilities which would have accommodated any type of weather. . the beach was really handy for walks and sunbathing. . the laundry was a bit expensive. . the club and acts at night were a pleasant bonus. . our 12 year old boy had a fantastic time and made lots of friends.
Mark from Northwich, Cheshire (12 August 2016)

We were put on the new site across the road from the main site and this was further away from the main facilities but had stunning views and was quiet. Caravan wasn't really up to being an 8 berth, but was clean and usable.
Lisa-Ann (12 August 2016)

A lovely holiday park
Ronnie from London (12 August 2016)

Did not think money paid justified less than an hour in the pool each day
Kathrine from Eastleigh (12 August 2016)

Beautiful place to stay right next to a lovely sandy beach. Very happy and helpful staff but the food was a little pricey for what it was and could do with a few more activities for the kids in the day time as you can only stay in the pools for one hour at a time due to the ratio of people. We stayed in the superior caravan which was spotless and comfortable (sleep 8 as we went with 4 adults and 1 child) with a flat screen tv and cooker two bathrooms , the caravan looked new we had a very pleasant night sleep. It was a little expensive for a few days as we stayed in the summer holidays but we were all very happy with the family holiday and would go again and would recommend to all to go too.
Katie from Hertfodshire (08 August 2016)

Lovely site but chalet could do with updating. Cleaning could be better, window sills were dirty and bathroom floor stained. Quite expensive chalet for the condition. Beech was great and a good base for exploring.
Customer 46 from Gloucestershire (06 August 2016)

Caravan we stayed out had no parking space next to it. Those near by we always busy so had to park at bottom of hill and walk up. We werent that close to the evening entertainment building but the volume and level of bass was very high making it difficult to sleep until music stopped. . everything else was fine, but these couple of things would stop us coming back.
Lee from Haynes, Bedfordshire (06 August 2016)

Was great will be back
Stephenie from Crawley (06 August 2016)

Nice caravan park .the caravan park was clean and kids loved it.staff are friendly lovely place .
Peter from Crawley (06 August 2016)

We had a great time, would definetly recommend.
Katie from Kettering (05 August 2016)

Luxury caravan provided ample space, facilities and was fully equipped for our needs, towels, toiletries, clean comfortable linen and an unexpected welcome pack. The only blip was the outdoor pool being closed for a day of our holiday due to a fault and we found access to the pool time limited which was disappointing.
Heidi from Woking (05 August 2016)

The accommodation was immaculate and in beautiful surroundings. A little disappointed with the indoor and outdoor pools, but overall, our holiday was very enjoyable and we would definitely stay at whitecliff bay again.
Claire from Southampton (01 August 2016)

We had a great week at whitecliff bay. Kids enjoyed the play area and pools. The caravan we booked was modern and clean. The evening entertainment was great starting with the kids and ending with the amazing "mix" house band.
Tony from Essex (01 August 2016)

The only thing was the time limit on both pools, and the indoor pool badly needs modernising
Owen from Canvey Island (30 July 2016)

Excellent location very friendly staff but kitchen needs up dating. Family had an amazing week will definitely return again.
Melissa from Portsmouth (30 July 2016)

Truly amazing, great 1st family holiday resort
Cheryl from Southampton (29 July 2016)

Beautiful location, luxury caravan was great. A little off the beaten track but nice for a relaxing holiday.
Lauren from Faversham (29 July 2016)

We had a lovely holiday, the staff were very friendly and helpful . there is plenty to do and a good activity schedule. There are just a few areas that are ready for an upgrade especially the indoor pool and some of the accommodation . we stayed in a budget chalet and while we expected it to be basic, it could have been cleaner. However once we gave it a bit of a scrub it was fine.
Sarra from Nantwich (29 July 2016)

Facilities were good apart from the clubhouse which was not clean or inviting. The toilets left a lot to be desired also. Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Clifford from Shoeburyness, Essex (29 July 2016)

We had a lovely relaxing break. The hi light for me was the outdoor cinema for a really memorable family experience. We all enjoyed it.
Alex from Cheltenham (29 July 2016)

The pool needs updating, but other than that we had a great time. Stayed in one of the jolly nice chalets and it lived up to the name. Loved the outdoor cinema and want to book one of the safari tents for our next stay.
Matthew from Toddington, Bedfordshire (29 July 2016)

Ok been here before so knew what to expect entertainment is aimed at under 7s in the evening. Beer was cheap two years ago not this time, £3 a pint. . comfort chalet was ok, but bed wad full of bed bugs which we seen on the last day. won't go again purely due to entertainment.
John from Romsey (29 July 2016)

Fantastic!
Jane from Littlehampton (29 July 2016)

Great holiday
Ben (29 July 2016)

The indoor pool was not as good as the pictures implied and the on site catering was way overpriced but the site was clean quiet and relaxing with good park and fantastic beach
Mark from Wolverhampton (29 July 2016)

We love this place.. all member of staff are amazing..
Maria from London (25 July 2016)

We had a lovely enjoyable holiday at whitecliff bay. the van we stayed in ( superior 6) was absolutely spotless and beautifully kept. could not fault the accommodation at all. the location was a downside for us as it was opposite the entertainment bar and the music from the live bands etc was extremely loud till 11.30pm. luckily it didn't keep our kids awake. the entertainment staff were great with the kids and the activities were fantastic and we really enjoyed the outdoor cinema evening. the indoor pool needs a revamp as there a lot of cracked /missing tiles and it needs a coat of paint. The outdoor pool was lovely and we had a lovely lunch at the nab bar. being close to the beach was a great plus for us the café down there was lovely too. . overall a wonderful holiday was had by all at whitecliffe bay and we will endeavour to come back again.
Gareth from Carterton (23 July 2016)

Got to be one of the best holidays we've had in the uk caravan was brand new will definitely be returning hear next year
Martin from Maidstone (23 July 2016)

We had a lovely time. Chalets basic but that's what we expected. Pool could do with a bit of maintenance on the steps, but great location and nice and warm. I thought the staff were brilliant, fun and inclusive without being overly in your face!
Rebecca from London (22 July 2016)

Very nice area , shallay poorly equipped for self catering, eg no tin opener,no bread knife no paring knife. No oven cookware. Unit smelt very damp and musty. Could have done with a dam good clean throughout. Suggestion- try blinds instead of curtains at all windows, not a good look with curtains that can't be drawn, hanging off the rails, not much privacy either!
Melvin from Westerham (22 July 2016)

Best campsite I have stayed on and best caravan I have stayed in !!
Keith from Bracknell (18 July 2016)

Nicely laid out park, very clean in all areas. reception staff very helpful and friendly. Café with varied menu and amazing views from the outside seating area. Good selection of facilities.
Lynne from Dartford (16 July 2016)

A lovely break, thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and the view from our van. Very well equipped and comfortable.
Douglas from Cuckfield (16 July 2016)

We had a comfort chalet for one week , and enjoyed our stay . the beds were very comfortable, kitchen and living area were fine. and the staff and amenities were good. Parts of the chalet were in overdue need of updating. The bathroom looked like it was installed by a bad diy man. And curtain tracks were hanging off
John (16 July 2016)

Not enough entertainment for adults
Susan from Co Durham (15 July 2016)

Staff very good accomadation very good location brilent ,just not enough to going on for teens xx
Britannia from Petersfield (15 July 2016)

Great place to stay and lots to do in the beautiful location.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (11 July 2016)

Had a great holiday going back very soon , could not really complain , only one thing for me they could improve on is more staff behind the bar when ordering a meal either that or have one till to order meals and another for people who want to just order drinks, this is not a complaint though as it was such a good holiday and all staff were very pleasant , would recommend to anyone
Samantha from Manchester (09 July 2016)

The location of the park is great - on a hilltop near to a quiet beach. it is a very pleasant walk to sandown (with a pub and ice-cream shop at the half-way point.) the accommodation was spacious and clean. the kitchen was well-equipped and there was a generous welcome pack provided. the on-site shop sold a limited range of items and closed early - so best to bring some supplies with you. the staff were excellent and the few interactions we had with them all left good impressions. the food in the 'nab' is the usual pub grub - nothing special but then not bad either. overall, I highly recommend this park. . the only suggestion I have is to improve the signage for late night arrivals: the park is split into two sections on either side of the road and it was not clear where we should have gone. once we found a security guard, however, he was very helpful and we were checked in within no time.
Customer 79 (08 July 2016)

We had our first family holiday this year at whitecliff bay with our son who was 17 months. there was lots for children to do on the site (although our son was too young for the vast majority of it) but there was a little soft play area he loved and we made good use of the indoor swimming pool. and the flume was a good addition. the location was great with it's own personal access to a beach and an easy car ride to the various attractions around the isle of white. we are hoping to come back in the next year or two when our son will be able to enjoy more of the activities :-)
Lauren from Hertfordshire (08 July 2016)

Booking for self and wife (83) + small dog. chalet(1) basic facilities. Kitchen and bathroom overdue for updating. Plumbing appeared original (20 years? - that's taps and sinks). likewise 'bath' - (not really suitable for elderly), however after a couple of days complained to staff (most helpful and cheerful) obliged by re-allocating us to chalet(2) with shower. Better, but also needed updating plumbing etc.. unfortunately wife took a turn for the worse after 4 days and we had end our 7 day holiday.
Michael from Eastbourne (04 July 2016)

To be honest the chalet was aweful. It was dirty and we couldn't use the shower as it was mouldy around the door. There was also a huge stain on the carpet!! not good. The site was ok but the pub was also quite run down and we tried ordering food but left without eating it. There was a crazy golf type thing but it was buried under muddy puddles. There wasn't much for the kids and no swings in the park! I love the isle of wight but I wouldn't go back to that park.
Kim from Brackley (04 July 2016)

Visited lots of the island. had a great time.
Christine from Glossop (02 July 2016)

We had a fabulous week. Brilliant location, we would definitely stay at whitecliff bay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break in whitecliff bay. the caravans were so comfortable and in a lovely part of the island. wonderful weekend with family and perfect for adults and children alike.
Joyce from London (20 June 2016)

We found the whole park clean and pleasant.
Helen from Enfield (18 June 2016)

Great place and fantastic beach.especially great for kids and good value for money at the on site pub and restaurant.the staff are especially great help and fun.will be definitely going again next year.
Richard from Kirkby In Ashfield (18 June 2016)

Excellent break. Will definitely stay again.
Ian from Christchurch Dorset (17 June 2016)

Holiday was great. Wish we had stopped longer. Even though we were there over the festival weekend we were not bothered by it one bit. The only criticism we had was the chalet that we rented was a little bit dated and there was moss growing in the bathroom window and mouldy, but it didn't put us off as we didn't go on holiday to spend our time in the bathroom.
Lewis from Chipping Campden (13 June 2016)

The park is lovely but the accommodation we had was very tired looking and wanted updating. It was very quiet when we went so there were school children on adventure holidays staying in some of the chalets.
Roy from Ludlow (11 June 2016)

Holiday was ok but night entertainment was poor
Claire from Evesham (11 June 2016)

We had a fantastic time at whitecliff bay. the comfort chalet was very nice and clean, ideal for our 8month & 3 year old. the pools and entertainment were great and all the staff were very helpful. we shall definitely be coming back.
Dylan from London (10 June 2016)

We stayed in a 2 bed chalet it was very clean and comfortable. Fully equiped kitchen with some nice extras in the fridge on arrival - milk, wine, beer, chocolate !!. lovely site well kept with plenty of room between plots. Staff are very helpful and friendly, would definately stay again.
Joan from Hemel Hempstead (04 June 2016)

Salil from West Midlands (30 May 2016)

Loved it. Great weather. Beautiful scenery. Peaceful.
Sadie from Norfolk (28 May 2016)

Was impressed with the park overall, its facilties were very clean and fresh looking. plenty for our oldest child to do without having to venture out of the park. However, our holiday was tainted in a huge way by the decision to not place us in a chalet adjoining the others in our party, despite our request. Judging by the times that other people were coming and going near to us, this could have been accommodated. Also, our chalet had not been cleaned, (at least not to any kind of standard we would hope) and there was mould and damp in the bedrooms which dictated how my wife and I positioned the beds and travel cot so as to not have it affect our children. compaining about the cleanliness of the chalet resulted in someone coming out to clean the bathroom but my wife had already cleaned the remaining rooms as we needed to sort our 5months room for bedtime. This may sound like a cliché but we are not normally ones to write bad reviews and complain as the price of the chalet was very good, (term time holiday). it is also worth noting that accommodation normally wouldnt be high on my priorities during a holiday as it is largely used as just a base, but with a young family we spent a large amount of time in the place due to their bedtimes and it left us with an unfortunate negative feeling towards this holiday and the park in general.
Scott from Burton On Trent (28 May 2016)

Perfect place to stay. Will return in the future .
Adrian (28 May 2016)

The whole place was being refurbished (not all at once) so some areas such as the swimming pool were outdated but clean and I noticed that they keep up with maintenance. The only place that was unusable was the mini golf. Staff were friendly and helpful. The internet had a problem so couldn't rely on it other than at the main buildings. I would recommend the place, specially if you'd like some quality family holiday.

Caravan was really clean and staff were very helpful
Margaret from Birmingham (28 March 2016)

Did not like having to go by car to the shop, park, and club as we were over the other side, and found it difficult to park second car with such high banks, should have two spaces per caravan. Would also have liked to go round each road for walk or bike but each one is a close so no exit. We had the worst storm weekend so put a huge dampener on the weekend, however we would stay again as overall it was nice, plus I can see work is underway on the site, oh yes parking at the pub aughful heavy rain and had to find parking somewhere, that was the worst bit, hope this helps, food in pub great, and helpful man at bar.

This is was my first and lovely experience to stay in a caravan park, love the whitecliff bay holiday park, the surrounding view was amazing, great activities for kids also,
Ulas from London (25 March 2016)

The park was a building site when we arrived the work men worked from 7.30 till 8/9pm there was glass on the grass and nails sticking out of the steps to our chalet. We had to use a potholed road to get in as the main road in was being resurfaces. My children were really upset that they watched a play area being built but couldn't use it. There was also diggers and machinery everywhere I couldn't let my children play outside. Staff were very apologetic and helpful. Our first family holiday and we were not impressed.
Rebecca from Slough (25 March 2016)

Everything was wonderful! except that no supermarket is close.

Great place to stay with a young family. The chalets and caravans are always clean. The beds are comfortable. Any problems are swiftly dealt with and the staff are lovely. The entertainment staff perform well and are much loved by my 6 year old granddaughters.

Great holiday, took our small dog which was good plenty of good walks. On site was a place to eat where we could take the dog with us, this was excellent, have not had this on other sites. Have booked again but this time in a caravan. The site and the staff were great.

I used to come to whitecliff bay years and years ago. revisited it this early october with a party of 4 adults and 2 dogs. . the park itself I felt was a little run down not like I remember. . perhaps it was because it was end of season? . it is though a good base for exploring the island, especially culver down which is nearby.

We stayed at whitecliff bay out of the main holiday season. Beautiful area, lovely comfortable caravan, amazing staff. only negative points we had was the extra blankets had not been laundered and we're full of grass, the nab bar did not have the correct cutlery out and the food was not great, we went once but did not want to go back, local shop was very pricey. But for the whole holiday these were the only complaints, we loved our stay and we would love to come back one day.
