Great site. really quiet and peaceful which is what we wanted. everything spotless.
Michael from Cheshire (03 September 2018)

Clean, quiet and a place to escape life and switch off. The site had a little playpark for our son. you could drive to local beaches etc everything is handy to get to.
Claire from Liverpool (03 September 2018)

The caravan was clean, warm, tidy and we'll equipped. The area is lovely with lots to do and see. The staff we saw were very welcoming, polite and informative, would definitely recommend.
Claire (02 September 2018)

Lovely and quite, well maintained site, beautiful location, plenty to do in the area as long as you are prepared to drive
Peter from Crosby (31 August 2018)

Lovely caravan site in a beautiful spot overlooking the sea. Lovely and quiet which was what we wanted as we live in the city in leeds. We went with the dog on a walking holiday and a short drive away are some brilliant walks in a lovely picturesque and green scotland. We loved it and so did the dog, we will certainly be going back there.
David from Leeds (25 August 2018)

The caravan was excellent. The staff very helpful and friendly.
Sharon from Bolton (25 August 2018)

Lovely park in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was absolutely superb! faultless. . . the children loved the play area and dog friendly. We were also made very welcome at the reception area. . . a great rural spot in a perfect spot to explore the south west scottish coastline. . . would recommend to anyone for a lovely rural getaway.
Aidan from Blackpool (24 August 2018)

What a wonderful place. A hefty drive for us but so worth it. Amazing warden adrian who recommended places to visit and, when we arrived very late at night on our check in day, popped into the caravan an hour before we arrived to put the heating on for us. Quiet, clean site with excellent facilities. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to do. Free range eggs from the chickens can be bought from reception and the laundrette was a god send. Meant less washing to when we got home. It was well stocked with books, games and jigsaws too. The use and facilities of the pool at the neighbouring park was excellent.
Jade from Sheffield (24 August 2018)

Brilliant, quiet park. Staff were great. Caravan lovely. Definately going again.
Jennifer from Westgate (24 August 2018)

Had a lovely break here, staff very helpful, log cabin was perfect, hot tub was great fun. . ideal for a relaxing break. Beautiful beach a short drive away too.
Claire from Falkirk (10 August 2018)

Fantastic holiday park. Lovely static caravan, best we’ve had even though we took our dog. Brilliant to have basic supplies provided ie fairy liquid, dishcloths, loo roll, dish towel, kitchen roll. Really quiet and peaceful. No commercial activities on site at all. Loved it.
Jocelyn from Newton Abbot (10 August 2018)

Fantastic holiday home. Spotlessly clean and fabulous location.
Julie-Anne from Newcastle Upon Tyne (10 August 2018)

Lovely lodge, great hot tub. Adrian was very friendly and helpful.
Aimee from Shildon (10 August 2018)

Overall the holiday and the caravans were great. Well equipped but a couple of items could be added.. tongs and grater in the kitchen area. Hooks for hanging coats / towels whe wet after a shower. . wifi could also be better.. we do the more people who tried to use it .. mostly in the evening.. we could get a signal. This this could be improved on then the site would get a100%
Grace from South Queensferry (04 August 2018)

We really had a lovely few days at whicairn. staff very friendly. the park itself was immaculate, as was the lodge. all mod cons and everything you could think of - and so much storage space. the only downside I would say, and it’s not a biggie, but there was a lot of construction noise coming from the field behind our cabin, and we were informed that this was building work to contract another 38 lodges. when we were trying to relax in the hot tub there was constant reverse beeping noises and engines of heavy machinery. like I said, not a biggie, but it would have been better without this noise.
Rebecca from County Durham (04 August 2018)

The caravan was spotless and well equipped. It was probably the nicest caravan i've ever stayed in (and we've stayed in many). there isn't anywhere on site to get food but it's a short drive away to morrisons and the fridge freezer in the caravan is bigger than mine at home. Lots of space on site and l places to take the kids to cycle nearby. We had a great time.
Samantha from Reading (03 August 2018)

Spotlessly clean caravan, very comfortable, well kept site.
Sharon from Stirling (03 August 2018)

Great place
Henry (27 July 2018)

We stayed a week here as we wanted to see around this area of scotland. The cabin with the hot tub was the main attraction and we were not let down. The cabin was well equipped with fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave and dishwasher and all bedding and towels included. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in (and we have slept on a few luxury cruise beds). even the toilet tissue was very good quality - and that is unusual for holiday or hotel accommodation. There are no nearby restaurants, pubs or public transport so a car is essential. Also if you like walking that is limited unless you can travel a few miles.
Alexander from Old Rayne, Aberdeenshire (23 July 2018)

Park and caravan spotless. Only downside for us was the location as was wanting closer to to dumfrieshire, not the parks fault though.
David (21 July 2018)

Very clean and well kept site. Very quiet and remote so not for you if you want some nightlife. Staff were friendly and shop nearby for stocking up on basic supplies. Sheets, toilet paper, dish towel, bin bags, clothes, washing up liquid all provided. You will need your own towels, food etc. Caravan itself was spotless and smelled fresh, even though I had one that was pet friendly. Would highly recommend
Kirsty from Fife (21 July 2018)

Lovely peaceful place to stay, really need a car to get around the area. . park is very tidy and well maintained.
Lorraine from Blantyre (21 July 2018)

Gillian (09 July 2018)

We had a lovely holiday and felt our caravan was centrally places for all areas we wished to visit. The caravan was lovely and roomy, fully equipped and set in beautiful country surroundings.
Moira from East Kilbride (07 July 2018)

Park is spotless ,as was the caravan modern & very clean . eating out a bit of a problem it's a shame that glenluce only has one eating establishment. park staff extremely friendly, & the cleaning girls were very helpful especially regards our puppy (jasper) nothing a problem to them.
Dennis from Blyth (30 June 2018)

Lovely site, but not much in the local village.
Nikki from Loftus (03 June 2018)

Every thing was as expected and we would consider going again
Jim from Country (02 June 2018)

Great location, clean and well appointed cabin.
Mark (28 May 2018)

Positives:. holiday park was in a lovely location, caravan was very well looked after and modern. Park on site was excellent for my 2 year old. . negatives:. no shop on site meant had to drive to the nearest village for any supplies, we were asked to put dog on lead when playing on open field with park, this was not advertised and restricted playing with our dog for no understandable reason.
Paul from Workington, Cumbria (28 May 2018)

Quiet site, you really need a car for access. Site is spotless and quiet, hot tub excellent. . staff helpful.

Whitecairn is a lovely holiday park to stay in. Our log cabin was brilliant and extremely clean! the value for money was excellent, our only problem was having to drive everywhere if we wanted anything as the site was closed. . apart from that problem our stay was brilliant.

Adam from Glasgow (15 August 2017)

We booked this holiday park as a last minute break due to a family wedding but what a pleasant surprise. We phoned ahead as we were running a bit late & the staff were so helpful & so welcoming when we arrived. In fact all the staff we really friendly & their knowledge of local places to visit really helped to make the holiday. The quality & cleanliness of the caravan was superb & it had everything you needed. It's location also meant we were right opposite the children's play area, so we could give the children a bit of independence whilst also keeping a sneaky eye on them!!!. there are some fantastic beaches in the local area but if its a rainy day, whitecairn's sister site was only down the road & you can book to have the swimming, all to yourself for an hour.....& I have to say this was one of the kids highlights of the holiday !!!. . in all, i'm so glad to have found this little gem of a site that isn't too noisy, is really family friendly & this visit may have been our first but will certainly not be our last.
Samuels from North Wales (12 August 2017)

I great place to have a relaxing break. Have a hot tub was the icing on the cake!
Michael from Carluke (11 August 2017)

The park was in an excellent location with a super view down to luce bay. there are not many facilities but this was good for us as it was quiet.
Alison from Elgin (11 August 2017)

Beautiful park spotlessly kept. Great facilities for kids, loved the fishing.
Alan from Durham (05 August 2017)

Leigh from Carluke (01 August 2017)

Fantastic holiday. the caravan was the cleanest we have ever stopped in. Friendly and very helpful staff. the site was relaxing. Although the site only has a play area, the kids loved it and said it was the best holiday ever. Situated in a beautiful place, whitecairn ticks all the boxes. we couldn't recommend this place enough. We'll be definitely going back next year
Customer 88 from Manchester (28 July 2017)

Patricia from Glasgow (15 July 2017)

Fabulous caravan. Fabulous staff. Brilliant surroundings. We love the area. Well maintained play area for the kids. Would benefit from a little shop for emergency supplies, but other than that, it was amazing!

Nicole from Bellshill (10 July 2017)

We had such a great holiday last year we came back this year, used it as a base, we went to dumfries for the day, cream o galloway, cocoa bean factory, mull o galloway lughthouse and a day trip to belfast
Jean from Portlethen (10 July 2017)

Caravan was nice, very clean and well presented. . the park lake was good but be prepared to be eaten by the flies. . we were fine with the lack of facilities on site but a family may have wanted a little more
Philip from Pontefract (07 July 2017)

Great location, clean accommodation. Would have preferred more facilities on site for younger children (age 2). the play park is more suitable for older children. Was a good base for exploring the surrounding area. We had a lovely weekend.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (21 May 2017)

Very nice relaxing holiday. Only downside was that the electric fireplace was not working. Also could do without half term price hikes but this issue is with every other holiday provider.
Aleksei from Northampton (17 April 2017)

Was a really nice relaxing break.
Cecilia (10 April 2017)

Lovely park and beautiful lodge. Kids loved the hot tub. Will definitely be back.
Sheila from Edinburgh (09 April 2017)

Beautiful accommodation, lovely surroundings and staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. definitely be back, definitely recommend.
Pauline from East Kilbride (07 April 2017)

Lodge and hot tub very clean. staff very friendly and helpful. Peaceful holiday park. Nothing really to do on area without driving anywhere but trip was in february so local restaurants were not open, drove about 15 mins to collect a takeaway one evening. with children had to drive to get suitable bike tracks as only roads to cycle on. everyone had a great time and kids didn't want to leave!
Jill from Glasgow (13 February 2017)

Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a slight problem with the plumbing in our cabin but it was sorted very quickly by adrian and robert. The site is very peaceful and well maintained.
Derek from Troon (06 January 2017)

The staff were amazing very friendly great service clean park highly recommended
Jane from Portsmouth (30 December 2016)

The accommodation was nice except the boiler broke so we had to move to another lodge but then they moved us again to make room for other visitors. . adrian the manager was fantastic really helpful and gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit nearby.
Sarah from Andover (01 October 2016)

We just celebrated my partners 40th in the highland spa 3. We couldn't fault it at all, the lodge was absolutely immaculate with plenty of room for the 4 of us. it had all the facilities you could ask for. hot tub was amazing and well worth paying the extra for. we will definitely be back.
Kelly from Whitburn, West Lothian (25 September 2016)

Good for a short break
David from Kirkmuirhill (25 September 2016)

The accommodation was clean with good facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were a little disappointed with the wifi coverage it was very hit and miss in the lodge. We were expecting full coverage as it was advertised with wifi. . the site was well laid out and it is ideal for a peaceful and restful holiday. The hot tub was excellent.
Gwen from Plymouth (17 September 2016)

Loved it
Catherine from Bellshill (11 September 2016)

Sheena (16 August 2016)

Alison from Coatbridge (15 August 2016)

Ideal location if you want a quiet get away. Lovely caravans, very clean and friendly, helpful staff. Lots to find to do around the area.
Margaret from Glasgow (13 August 2016)

A little too remote for my liking it's a good 15 minute's walk to the village and only one shop, the site itself was pleasant and the caravan was lovely and clean on arrival, plenty to do and see in this part of scotland but most things were about 30 to 60 minute drive away
Michael from Durham (13 August 2016)

This was a beautiful site in a very tranquil location and the caravan was superb. Immaculate with all up to date facilities. The only drawback to us was that because of the isolated location we would have expected there would have been some sort of store on site selling basic needs. We were quite surprised to see there was nothing. Apart from that we loved it
Marilyn from Huddersfield (13 August 2016)

Lovely quiet location. The caravan we stayed in was spotless and very well equipped. I used the launderette and this facility seemed good and again very clean. The play area was great for our son and within view of the caravan. We will definitely stay here again.
Elizabeth from Kippax/Leeds (12 August 2016)

Excellent holiday. very peaceful and lovely scenery. if you are after a quiet break and family time this is a perfect holiday. caravans are an excellent standard and very clean. we stayed in a premier merick which was ideal.
Carl from Walsall (08 August 2016)

Bit isolated and disturbed early in the morning by strimming of grass around the caravan. Cleanliness and facilities of the van good.
Lynn from Beith (04 August 2016)

Really enjoyed staying at whitecairn. Seemed to be quite a long way from anywhere though, spent quite a long time in the car going places. Site and. Caravan very good though.

Jean from Pickering, N.Yorks. (16 July 2016)

We had a beautiful caravan, and the weather was mixed, however the site and surroundings are beautiful. the area is wonderful to explore, and our little ones had a great time. recommend luce beach, cream of galloway farm, and the castle in stranraer for story telling.
Jannall from Edinburgh (16 July 2016)

Caravan was lovely just like having your own home but on holiday. The park was great for families or couples having a break away. The pool is great and the fact you get it to yourself is better for families. The views from the park are picturesque. We will definitely be back.
Jean from Portlethen (15 July 2016)

Exactly what we needed, excellent accommodation in beautiful surroundings, with extremely helpful and friendly staff.
Alan from Morpe (06 July 2016)

A fabulous site - nice and quiet. Excellent position for exploring the area. Very well appointed caravan.
Fiona from Kelso (03 July 2016)

Enjoyed our stay in the pleasant surroundings. Clean and tidy camp.have previously stayed at whitecairn holiday park.
Leonard (11 June 2016)

The location of the park was lovely. The area was spotlessly clean and the caravan had everything we needed. The warden was helpful when we arrived, but as we didn't need any other help, didn't really see any other staff, except to hand our keys back and the receptionist was very polite and helpful. A very pleasant and relaxing holiday.
Claire from Manchester (04 June 2016)

Park and accommodation spotless, wonderfully peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break.
Kevin from Carlisle (03 June 2016)

Great place in lovely countryside, caravan immaculate and new, shame about the bad neighbours we experienced. To be fair there was a hint of what was to come on the first night but I stupidly, did not want to cause a fuss, I was after all on holiday. If you find yourself next to the group of polish workers you would be advised to ask for other accommodation further away or leave if you want to relax. Their behaviour ruined an otherwise perfect break. I only wish the had allotted me a different accommodation.
Robert (29 May 2016)

Lovely lodge and very clean. Quiet and peaceful. Suited our needs. The hottub was a great asset to the accomodation. Everything was there for us, the only thing we didnt have in the way of kitchen equipment was a measure jug.however everything else was there. Beautiful walks in surrounding area. Drove to portpatrick for the day.another beautiful area.
Tracey from Paisley (17 April 2016)

We thought the lodge was excellent. It was really clean with comfortable furnishings. the hot tub was fabulous. Really big as there was only 3 of us staying. The pictures of the lodge don't do it justice as it's lovely and cosy inside. We would like to go back and would highly recommend if you are looking for a quite relaxing stay.
Andrea from Motherwell (08 April 2016)

We enjoyed our stay at whitecairn holiday park - it was quiet, peaceful and well kept and the caravan was lovely. It was very good value for money. The only downside was the lack of amenities within reasonable walking distance, but if you wanted a break away from everything, it would be ideal.
Dianne (06 April 2016)

Very peaceful and quiet.
Elizabeth from Glasgow (28 March 2016)

Lovely time spent at whitecairn recharging our batteries. Many thanks x
Marion from Preston (17 February 2016)

Loved the hot tub and the lodge itself, had everything we needed and was very clean. Staff were very helpful especially the handy man who was quick to call to help with the electrics when we had a power cut. Would visit again especially in the summer.

Had a fab holiday with the kids. Amazing views and will defo be back x
Joanne from Glasgow (16 October 2015)

My family and I had a great time, I just wish ther was somewhere closer than stranraer to buy basic supplies , and a maybe a small bar on the camp that allowed kids and parents to relax having a meal .
Chris from Falkirk (12 October 2015)

Lovely little site just above glenluce. Caravans at front of site have beautiful views. Very quiet when there in early oct, dog friendly. No shop/bar etc so take what you need although there is a shop in village with basics. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely area, great beaches for dog walks and children. Do visit castle logan and glenwhan gardens while in the area even if you are not a gardener they make a great visit. Would go back.
Wendy (09 October 2015)

The remote location of the park is it's main attraction. I only found 1 shop in glenluce, a keystore I think it was. so you would need a car to visit this park, to visit the nearby towns such as kircudbright, newton stewart and stranraer.
Neil from Glasgow (28 September 2015)

Caravan was clean although clearly needed some love and evidence of previous badly behaved dogs not hidden, maybe it was is but other vans on the site were better equipped and more modern but ours was clearly for dog owners and not of the same standard. Site tidy but along way from pubs and places to eat and all visitor attractions.
Peter from Newcastle Upon Tyne (18 September 2015)

We booked this park for a lady who has a disability, she was supported by her care staff, the feedback we have had from the staff has not been very favourable. Although the park and surrounding areas were very scenic and picturesque, it is remote and you would probably need a car to get around, the poor availability of reception staff to help deal with queries was also less than helpful.
Annamarie from Coatbridge (04 September 2015)

I really enjoyed my stay at the park and hopfully will be back again soon
Tamara from Livingston (31 August 2015)

The park is not on a beach or near a loch. You could walk to the next town glenluce in 30 min. . . no shop or restaurant on the site. . . but the park is a quiet and very clean place. . . we enjoyed or stay there.
Tom from Augsburg (26 August 2015)

No where to nip out to for an evening meal unless you want to travel for 15 miles to get there.
Mandy from Swindon (08 August 2015)

We all had an excellent time with wonderful weather! the highlight of the lodge was definitely the hot tub!!!
Elizabeth from Salisbury (07 August 2015)

Beutiful area , clean and tidy site
Richard from Aberdeenshire (07 August 2015)

Peaceful and relaxing.
Diane from West Lothian (31 July 2015)
