Good value for money. Nice and clean accommodation.
Graham from Enfield (23 September 2016)

Excellant willdef be booking for next year .
Sarah from Skegness (17 September 2016)

Brochure pictures do not give a fair representation of majority of holiday homes. Only about 10 percent have a sea view.
Graham from Fareham (10 September 2016)

Bungalow was beautiful, more like a home than a holiday place. Great place for our dog too !
Sharon from Faversham (03 September 2016)

Very clean villa staff polite and helpful waterside very quiet and peaceful for a nice relaxing holiday buses very regular just outside camp all in all enjoyed the stay would definitely go back
Philip from Hartlepool (03 September 2016)

The accommodation was outstanding, cannot fault it in any way. It was very clean, spacious and lovely to stay in. We were quite disappointed with the facilities and entertainment side. The swimming pool and arcade area is very dated.. the pool needs a good clean, and needs to look more inviting to guests. The arcade games available look like something from the early 90's. Very old fashioned, toys not appealing to the children. Needs updating. As for the entertainment, there really wasn't any. On the website, it said entertainment was provided 3 times a week - when we arrived it was only on tuesdays and fridays evenings (we were only here monday to friday morning) - it was a singer performing on the tuesday evening, and me and my family were the only ones watching him. For these reasons, this is why I would not return to waterside park
Cara from Romford (02 September 2016)

Lovely quiet park. Excellent accommodation, comfy lodges with loads of room. Nice indoor swimming pool. Only criticism is the entertainment. The bar was very quiet ( we went bank holiday weekend and were the only people in there on the friday evening!) so could do more to attract people to this. . . beach 5 minute walk (down quire a few steps though so bear this in mind if you need to). lowestoft 15 mins drive, great yarmouth 20 mins. So excellent location. . . village has a couple of pubs, but got that "for locals" feel from them. . . would definitely stay again.
Allen from Northampton (29 August 2016)

I feel this was the holiday park me and my family have ever stayed at and we will try to stay there again when we next visit that part of the country.
Malcolm from Telford (13 August 2016)

A small and fairly quiet park with good amenities and extremely safe for children to play. In a great position with a short walk to the beach. The clubhouse provided the usual 'pub grub'. it seemed underused and very quiet.
Gail from Derby (06 August 2016)

Great location on the cliff top - peaceful site, good facilities and close to great yarmouth and lowestoft. Major supermarkets a short drive away and excellent food in the bar/club. Handy for pokemon go too (according to the children).
Kevin from Weeting (06 August 2016)

Brilliant
David (23 July 2016)

Ok but very quiet village. Hardly anyone used the bar and restaurant while we were there. Very well kept grounds.
Malcolm from Welwyn (15 July 2016)

We had a lovely break we stayed in bungalow 123 one minor complaint neither bedroom cupboard had enough hangers.
Eileen from Biggleswade (15 July 2016)

We stayed at waterside park due to the fact we had two dogs and wanted somewhere we could walk them. They said they were a dog friendly site and they were, we were able to take the dogs into the bar and restaurant. We would definitely revisit the site.
Ray from Basildon (02 July 2016)

Pool needs a good clean , there was a rim of black debris at the pool beach area v that you had to walk through to get it water, not a lot to do on the site,
Janet from Paisley (25 June 2016)

Nice sea view and quite site, very helpful staff
Christine from Stowmarket (17 June 2016)

Very unhelpful staff. villa in need of updating and was dirty. Sofa very uncomfortable utilities missing. Could be very nice with some investment into the villas.
Simon (04 June 2016)

Excellent. Will come again in september 2016.
Henk from 'S-Heerenberg (21 May 2016)

Great place to stay, we really enjoyed our time there.
Sean from Norwich (02 May 2016)

Great staff and the park has loads for kids
Sharon from Kent (02 May 2016)

Small park, well looked after.
Janice from Essex (02 May 2016)

We went on the coldest week ever in april the place was adequate but the heating was not man enough to cope with the cold weather and parking was a bit of a pain the spaces are pretty tight and not enough near to accomodation .but then we were not paying the earth. Park is generally clean and tidy
Ron from West Malling (30 April 2016)

This was the best holiday park accommodation we have ever stayed in to date. it was lovely to stay in a house as opposed to a caravan (or similar), as there was much more room to move about. the park itself is well laid-out and extremely well-positioned for excursions in an area where there is lots to see and do. all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. the indoor swimming pool is good. The only negative comments we can make concern the launderette: only two washers and driers for the entire park, one of which was out of order for the duration of our stay (one week); and the shop, which was small and inadequately-stocked. the park was clean and tidy. if you are looking for a fairly peaceful location with easy access to the surrounding area, then this is the place to come. we would come again.
Laura from Stroud (16 April 2016)

Lovely park we done so much while we were there it is great location for the broads and beaches. The clubhouse has great tasty meals. The staff were really friendly and helpfull as well
Christine from Guildford (09 April 2016)

Waterside park was a great place .nice clean bungalow and a good base to explore the surrounding area.
Lisa from Shepshed (08 April 2016)

Lovely villa needed some updating but good value for money
Melanie from Oakham (28 March 2016)

The property was pleasant and good value for money. The reception never seemed to be open and there were not any details about opening times. That was particularly annoying on our last morning as we had to wait around for somebody to turn up to drop off our key.
Mark from Oldham (11 March 2016)

On arrival at 5 10pm there was nobody on reception and other staff had no idea about our booking. We and our 3 little children had to wait over 2 hours until we could access our villa. However this did upset what was a lovely family break, on site staff are great reception staff not so. We would still recommend waterside park as a lovely family venue
Ben from Colchester (07 March 2016)

There is nothing to do. The property which I got was not cleaned properly. The cooker chimney was not working. The overall stay was not nice.
Rohit from Cambridge (11 January 2016)

On new years eve the singer who had to read words from screen because she didnt know them had no eye contact or interaction with audience. She was incredibly boring to listen to. Then she disappeared for rest of night so there was no entertainment at all a boy from a family nearby told us he was going to be the singer for the evening but no one could get karaoke machine to start there were no staff avaiable other than bar staff and one waitress where was management? by nine o clock the place had turned into a kids playground with children running about all over the place this was not a relaxed fun evening and we gave up and went to out chalet to watch tv . so thanks corton for a dire new years eve I think to advertise entertainment and then not provide anything not even some music was ripping people off we were not the only ones who left the bar because the evening was a kids playground.we picked corton for entertainment on new years eve
Maureen from Buckinghamshire (03 January 2016)

This was our 3rd visit to this park which in itself shows that we do rate it. we had a bungalow overlooking the sea and adjacent to the venue. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was comfortable and clean
Hilary from St Leonards On Sea (30 December 2015)

The house was clean and tidy . it suited us with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children and our dog . the bar area was nice to sit in in the evening for a drink . I would recommend the park for others to stay at .

Lovely weekend. A bit difficult to find in the dark, could do with a sign out in the road. good kids play park and good swimming pool. Bar good with pool table. Near to theme park, 10 min drive to great yarmouth and 45 minute drive to norwich.
Cheryl from Gloucester (26 October 2015)

Accommodation very clean and comfortable. Our only gripe was the swimming pool opening times and the changing area very inadequate - only 2 compartments! needs to be more! a good value short break with lots to do in the local area

Best holiday accommodation we have stayed in as it was so clean and we'll equipped and the beds were very comfortable plus new flat screen tv with all the channels. Very impressed!

Could have been cleaner, mattresses on beds were well worn and uncomfortable. Furniture needed revamp. the site itself was great and looked very impressive. The shower needed attention, black all round the edges, needed re-grouting. Oven greasy. The toilet was situated downstairs which was rather inconvenient when wanting the toilet in the night. The bedding on the beds was lovely and clean, the toilet and wash basin were clean. The floor in the bathroom was dirty behind the toilet, there was a pedal bin in the bathroom that was full of rust and had seen better days.

Lovely quiet site and really well maintained. Plenty of parking spaces. Bus stop right outside camp to lowestoft and great yarmouth. Nice village with two public houses and a very good chinese takeaway. Accommodation really good. Beds and bedding immaculate. Everything very clean. Only had one problem which was there was no blind or curtain over the main front door so privacy an issue. This was reported but not resolved.

Waterside park is a small park which is well maintained overlooking the sea. Although there appears to be no access to any beach. . there is a bar/restaurant serving hearty meals (the sausage yorkshire pud meal is gigantic) and the staff are very friendly. It is a family orientated site with an excellent, very warm pool again with pool lifeguards also very friendly. There is an onsite shop selling most (if not all) you could need, a launderette and hair salon. The reception staff are efficient, friendly and there to help. Unfortunately the english weather was unpredictable and rained most of the week. We went out most days as there are lots of attractions in the area.

I have mixed feelings about our stay. Some parts of the accommodation and facilities were nice, the swimming pool was lovely and inside our accommodation was nice. However it felt like we were on a building site. The weather wasn't great which meant we spent more time than we normally would on site but it meant listening to constant banging and drilling in the adjacent units. The outside of our accommodation was unfinished they hadn't even put the cladding on the front, and the "balcony" looked like a death trap. The arcade was like a step back in time - very outdated. The gym was closed for a refurb (no warning about this or the other building works). we were given a pool pass in our pack but got shouted at the pool as it wasn't filled out which apparently reception are meant to do. Normally at these sites you get a nice information pack in your accommodation with park rules, facilities open hours, what to do out of hours for help and local shopping facilities but there was none of this here. Seemed like they were more interested in selling units than having holiday makers. Maybe we caught them on a bad week. The children's play area was more for older kids (i would say 5 plus) but had nice equipment and the cliff face was safely fenced off which was good. The accommodation was clean and modern with a tv dvd player. The window dressings upstairs are blinds which don't block out much light and worryingly had no way to secure the cord which as we have a toddler was a concern as there have been lots of fatal accidents with these in recent years. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and the fridge had a freezer compartment which was useful. Remember to bring toilet roll with you as there isn't any to help you out on arrival. Overall if you just want a basic holiday base with access to a pool then this will be fine for you. Hopefully once the building works are complete and weathers nicer it will be a nicer stay for future visitors.
Linda from Kent (29 August 2015)

We couldn't fault the accommodation or the staff, but we felt that without travelling quite a distance there wasn't much to do in the area, especially on rainy days with children.
Timothy from Derby (29 August 2015)

We had a good time, villa was clean but grill smoked the one time we used it. broken tap fixed that day. pool and restaurant were excellent. Free wifi in villa would have been nice.

Brilliant staff couldn't be more helpful. Shame pool not open for longer. Isolated venue but fine if driving. Accomodation not good. We stayed at 91 most of the villas appear to be privately owned and the park lets them out. This means the standards in each villa seem to vary. Ours had shocking beds, never ever had such bad mattresses, really terrible. Shower mouldy all very tired looking. Sofas, cushions may as well not been there like sitting on planks of wood. This villa was not well looked after but to be fair was reasonably clean. Duvets not nice though. Cracked cups, items missing on itinerary although park staff very fast to sort that out. park was clean and tidy. Wouldn't return because of standards in villas. No beach access (which we knew) nearest beach probably lowestoft I would say. We came home a day early because everyone was aching and so tired from lack of sleep due to mattresses.
Anna from Harlow (22 August 2015)

The park is in a lovely position and the accommodation is ok for the price paid. I gave a slightly lower rating for facilities as the gym was closed for refurbishment. We also found the pool very busy at the times we looked so it wasn't really suitable for a good swim.
Karyn (22 August 2015)

My children had 2 single beds which were so uncomfortable we decided to leave early plus when I took the sheets and pillow cases off there were stains on the pillows and mattresses.

The accomodation was comfortable and spacious, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the swimming pool was nice and clean. However, it didn't really feel like a family resort, a bit too quiet and not much to do for the children. We came home a day early. Location was ok, the nearby beach was not any good for spending the day at. There were a lot of attractions within easy driving distance, if your budget allows for a different one everyday! self catering was easy as supermarkets are in close driving distance and accomodation had a freezer. Food on site wasn't good (burnt chips) and pub down the road was also disappointing, should have tried the pub opposite which may have been better. We wouldn't visit here again.
Penny from Farnborough (15 August 2015)

The chalet was very shabby and was in need of refurbishment. We knew we were only in basic accommodation but the balcony was strewn with rubble and cobweb covered. The shower was galling apart and the tv screen had a fault on it. Although the beach jad signs up forbidding it, there were a number of naked men wandering around, so next time we'll go somewhere else

Brian (15 August 2015)

Really enjoyed our holiday. Lovely park with adequate facilities and helpful friendly staff.
Serena from West Yorkshire (15 August 2015)

Considering the price, the park had everything we needed for our holiday, was in a good location to access suffolk and norfolk, whilst enjoying views of the sea. the only improvement we would add was longer opening times for the pool. a problem with a toaster was dealt with quickly.
Rob from Leatherhead (08 August 2015)

A good holiday plenty of things to do in the area enjoyed the swimming pool every morning
Liz from Nottingham (08 August 2015)

We had a lovely week at the park, weather was lovely and the staff were great and very helpful and would definitely come again, well done!
Denice from Heacham (08 August 2015)

We had a lovely time at waterside park. The villa was basic but had everything we needed. There was a slight crack in the lcd tv screen when we arrived and reception said they would be happy to change it for us if it was a problem. Staff were helpful and polite throughout our stay. A little more entertainment throughout the week would have been good. The children's entertainment started a little late 8-8.15pm. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would come back again. Our three children cried on the day we came home as they didnt want to leave.

Perfect location for our activities. Our bungalow was overlooking the sea and good distance away from the pub/restaurant. Clean facilities and bungalow was a lovely base for our holiday. Would definitely book again

Really nice to stay in and not far from the big towns, really nice staff couldn't fault!
Ryan (01 August 2015)

The chalets are not of the same standard despite all being priced the same plus the decision to allow pets is a nuisance. The staff are not as helpful as previous stays.
Alan from South Lanarkshire (01 August 2015)

Overall it was very pleasant. Wifi in the accommodation wasn't great which is something that's a must when you have a teenager with you! probably better for families with younger children or couples only.

Good site, we came when it was quiet so maybe a different atmosphere when it is busier. Accommodation was great. Only niggle was that the bins were full, difficult to find space which was disappointing considering how empty park seemed

Positives . clean well furnished accommodation. Enclosed terrace. . not so great. . bed had springs coming through mattress . no recycling facilities on site. Gym was closed for refurbishment which I was not told when booking. Play equipment not suitable for 1yr babies
Alison from London (18 July 2015)

Generally good. could have done with better cleaning. Our family had to use the first 2 to 3 hours to clean the house. . very dusty and full of spiders, very creepy, especially in the night when our boys kept running into our room because of spiders!. the outside of the property had cobwebs all over and was not very welcoming. . on the whole the facility was good, cooker and oven were clean and effective. . the fridge and freezer came in very handy too.

Good location to explore surrounding area. accommodation a bit basic but was as described. staff very helpful. a lot of the villas are privately owned so more dogs allowed than I would have liked. very good value for money, unlikely to stay again as not likely to be in this area again.

The down side to this property is that the bathroom is on the ground floor so if you needed the toilet in the night you had to go down stairs as for being clean I think the cleaners just gave it a licking over.the bulb went in the living room it took 2 days to do

A good base to see all of the area. our accommodation was very good. (june-july 2015) everything within our bungalow that we could need for self-catering. the single beds are child size so be aware if you are adult like me! they were comfortable however all the same. sea view we had was great and we enjoyed some sea bird and boat watching from our cliff top accommodation. the shower cubicle was also very good and nice and spacious and easy to access with plenty of hot water on tap. our thanks for a really good time/. we would recommend a stay at waterside park a neatly laid out and pristine parkland with its own shop and of course lovely swimming pool with a life-saver on duty (whilst we were there) which is welcome. All the staff we met were very welcoming and helpful, need I say more?

Our allocated accommodation was grubby, needing a refurbishment we spoke to management and were told the park was full . we were offered a change of accommodation on monday. This was better.

Barry from Gillingham,Kent (29 May 2015)

Locely location with basic facilities. The staff were fantastic and very helpful.
Hannah from Eastleigh (25 May 2015)

Lovely setting, nice little village with friendly locals, close to a couple of nice pubs, plenty in area to visit, oulton broads, great yarmouth etc.. pity about the british weather !!!
Andrew from Hessle (25 May 2015)

The bar was nice and the staff where friendly and the food was lovely. The overall appearance was welcoming. . just a note, the walk down to the sea is very dangerous, my mother in law fell down the last 8 concrete stairs and hit her head on the path suffering broken ribs, a severe head injury and concussion meaning also a day in the hospital. There are no signs to say be careful until you reach the bottom by which time it's too late!
Katharine from Whitwick (16 May 2015)

Nice location. Holiday home was nice. Would def go back.
