Vast caravan site, cool indoor pool and limited facilities, but very cheap so it was easy to make the most of it.
Louise (27 November 2017)

The caravan was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It was for 6 people but there were only 3 in our party and we still found it quite small. If you can afford the extra it's probably worth paying. Park was spotlessly clean. . . would visit again, especially out of season when it's quieter and cheaper :-)
Helen from Shrewsbury (27 November 2017)

It was the end of season and we felt that the staff could not be bothered as overall the customer service definitely needs improvement. we didn't feel that anyone went out of their way to accommodate our requests and found that "no" was an easier word than "let me see if I can help". . I couldn't believe that it was £5 for a child to use the soft play area when we had park passes, I thought this could have been included!!!
Jane from Coventry (27 November 2017)

Great family holiday
Shane from Brentwood (27 November 2017)

Extended family christmas break. Everything was great except for the main entertainment dome being closed for a private event which meant that it was very very cramped in the small adults only bar on an evening. . the swimming pool was very cold especially as it’s aimed at children my 2 year old was shivering.
Kelsey from Bristol (20 November 2017)

We have stayed at trecco bay holiday park a few times now, location is easy to find and within easy reach of cardiff. The site is lovely and clean, staff helpful, friendly and should a problem occur it has been dealt with quickly. We haven't used all the facilities, what we have has been good. Look forward to returning again in due course.
Angela from Newton Abbot (20 November 2017)

Lovely holiday could be more to do on site and better entertainment at night but lovely break staff very accommodating thank you
Emma from Bath (10 November 2017)

Our holiday was very good but the caravan was a little disappointing when we got there there was only bedding for 4 people even though booked for 6 had to ask for it then the electricity ran out during the night as they had forgot to top it up for us.this meant I could not use a cpap machine to aid my breathing the main door to caravan did not close properly so there was a gap this made the caravan cold, they did try to fix it but couldn't however the caravan was situated in a lovely area by the beach
Vanessa from Port Talbot (04 November 2017)

A great set up however the check in process leaves a lot to be desired! checking in with my 1 year old daughter was a nightmare! check in opens for all at the same time. Why it is not staggered is beyond me! the queue snaked around the park and it was cold and pitch black. A very poor first impression. Secondly we had a night unrest as a dispute occurred in a caravan opposite. The security staff did little to resolve the situation and instead kept warning rather than take action. This resulted in an early morning argument which went on for well over an hour until several police arrived to resolve. This is not what you want when on holiday with children.
Michael from Neath (03 November 2017)

Not the caravan, advertising on page u get very basic version!!! completely different layout! then when go speak with reception bout this they wasn't very helpful at all. Overall place was nice a lot to do but on evenings it was so busy qued for an hour to get in to entertainment bit where was jam packed no seats
Katie (03 November 2017)

The lines you had to wait in to actually get into the club house in the evening were ridiculous, people were queuing up to an hour an half before the doors even opened, the line went from one end of the resort to the other and it was freezing weather to be stood around in, way to cold for my little ones. By time you got into the club house there was never an tables or seats left the poor children were sat on the floors. Food in the main restaurant was way over priced, £20 for two spaghetti meals not even with any drinks.
Stacy from Cardiff (03 November 2017)

Lovely site and fantastic location. Pity the town fairground didn’t bother to open even though it was the welsh october half term. All in all a great holiday!
Anna from Buckley (03 November 2017)

Really enjoyed our stay was a little disappointed in swimming facilities could do with maybe an extra slide or something. But enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Sarah from Aberporth (03 November 2017)

I have stayed at the site many times and all has been ok , but the caravan we had this time had not been cleaned to a good standard the chairs had sand all over them the floor had not been cleaned we found items from the previous occupants under the table ,i know it was a pet friendly van but my wife had to vacuum the place all rooms ?
Ian from Ystalyfera (30 October 2017)

Caravan was clean but cold- if available definitely go for one with central heating!
Sally (30 October 2017)

Holiday park was fab. Caravan was good only down side was we had one double room and three twin rooms the double was very comfortable the twin rooms are designed for children and not adults as we were 6 adults and 1 child 4 of the adults were pretty uncomfortable at night. I wish i’d known at the time of booking information was a bit vague apart from that we had a lovely time.
Niccola from Pembrokeshire (30 October 2017)

I have been to trecco bay a number of times and its got all that we need within easy reach.
Paula (30 October 2017)

Really nice stay again. Liked there was a lane for just swimming in the pool the whole time.
Hannah (28 October 2017)

Caravan was fantastic could not fault it. Park was full ofor things to do. Beach was just a stones throw away was fabulous.
Gillian from Biggleswade / Bedfordshire (28 October 2017)

Plenty for young children but not so much young teenagers
Gillian from Southport (27 October 2017)

We were there for a wet autumn half term break - potentially miserable, but the grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly, helpful staff, great pool, reasonably priced food. Only grumble - staff on reception didn't have a full grasp of information about all the facilities.
June from Oxford (27 October 2017)

We had a lovely time
Kirsty from Norwich (27 October 2017)

Caravan carpet smelled of dog urine. the settee on the caravan was old with no padding at all in the cushions very uncomfortable
Lorraine (27 October 2017)

The entertainment was great and varied, there something for everyone regardless the weather. The site is by a very nice beach, there is a little convenient co-op shop just by the entrance to the park that was very handy and fairly priced. The kids had a great time and we would surely go back to trecco bay again.
Claudia from Iver (27 October 2017)

Was very clean site, tidy caravan
Jennifer from Wiltshire (27 October 2017)

Could not complain about the site but the swimming pool could do with been a lot bigger had to queue for nearly an hour every day ,showdome could do with been open earlier in the evening as we had to queue out in the rain, in the laundry only three of the machines were working so had to wait to use them .
Heather from Hereford (27 October 2017)

I wouldn’t recommend staying here as the facilities are very dirty and dated. The arcade wasn’t great and the bowling was old fashioned. My caravan was very neat nad tidy. The beach was very good but I expected better if I am honest.
Matthew from West Bromwich (27 October 2017)

I paid for a half term holiday with my family so the cost was high, how disappointing being a family of adults , the entertainment which wasn't very good ,as you had to sit with the kids all night.the adult only bar was only open for 3 nights of which we did not see , as we were told all information needed about entertainment etc is in your holiday pack, so we read 3 nights of entertainment only. And to top it off all the local activities were closed, in the brochure local attraction fairground closed , no mention of that, that is one of the reasons I booked this site
Chris from East Taphouse (27 October 2017)

The location was lovely but everything apart from a very busy swimming pool was subject to extra payment, food and shop very expensive
Lynne from Melksham (27 October 2017)

Was very professional, not been there for many years and it was much better than I remember it :)
Kate from Manchester (21 October 2017)

Had brill time caravan close to beach grandchildren loved it lots to do there would definitely go again
Rose (21 October 2017)

As our first static holiday in a wheelchair weren't sure what to expect from the caravan itself and location on the park. There was no hardstanding where our parking space was, the ramp was too steep to wheel up it and we were right behind the show dome - not a great first impression. When we got into the caravan it smelt of stale urine so opened the windows to see if that would help and contacted the assistance team by text. They sent a cleaner round within 10 minutes and she sprayed everywhere hoping it was just from lack of airing. The noise from the show dome meant we didn't have to go in and it was base heavy. Next morning the smell was back. Again we texted the assistance team who sent someone round with a carpet cleaner, again very quickly. The main park buildings were always clean and on a level area. . we could walk/scoot into porthcawl easily enough along the road or through the side gates, taking us along past a rather delapitated fun fair. The town itself was bigger than expected. My husband and the kids made use of the swimming pool and said it was lovely and warm. The big slide a hit with all three of them and there was an area roped off for "proper" swimming. It wasn't overly busy but we were out of the main school holiday. I can imagine it could be really busy in the holidays. We didn't really use much of the other facilities but all the staff were very friendly and helpful and we would go again.
Nichola from Swindon (20 October 2017)

We had an amazing week at trecco bay holiday park. Our caravan was everything and more than we expected. The shows on a night time were fabulous for both kids and adults. There was plenty to do in the rest of the park. We will be returning next year. It was definitely worth the 5 hour drive from yorkshire
Russell from Doncaster (16 October 2017)

Great caravan and location
Helen (16 October 2017)

First van we were put in was disgusting and the second van not so disgusting after a spray of air freshener
Nicola from Newport South Wales (16 October 2017)

Very impressed!
Sarah from Ross On Wye (14 October 2017)

Brilliant, fantastic for our young daughter. Star troupers were brilliant with her and great entertainment on the evenings.
Ian from Wombourne (13 October 2017)

There were 3 adults caravan was to small and in shabby condition very unhappy with the caravan the shower was nasty single bed was only big enough for a very small child not enough storeage made our holiday very crampt so didnt enjoy at all parking was ok but could have been better we travaled 114 miles to be dis apointed real shame
Pauline (13 October 2017)

My family had a lovely break at your park, beautiful caravan , mattresses wasn't comfortable so didn't see well at all and entertainment was a bit disappointing as rock night was changed so we missed it but overall lovely place and would definitely be visiting again .
Maria from Telford Shropshire (13 October 2017)

Caravan perfect did not enjoy facilities that much , although 2 year old found it fun , rockpooling great fun
Trevor (09 October 2017)

Very enjoyable family holiday.
Jemma from Merthyr Tydfil (09 October 2017)

Trecco bay was a lovely place to stay and there were lots of places to visit within easy reach. The caravan we hired was clean but basic but still good value. The entertainment team were excellent both with the children and adults. They put on very professional shows in the evenings. We had an enjoyable stay.
Susan from Torquay (06 October 2017)

Good value for the money
Martin (06 October 2017)

Excellent as always fantastic caravan and not too far from main complex already booked for next year
Robert from Llangennech (02 October 2017)

No welcome pack left with security despite advicing late arrival
Mark (29 September 2017)

Most of the staff were helpful. Quite a few problems with broken items in the caravan. Including the gas cooker knobs! very difficult to get an answer on the phone from reception. Eventually contacted the out of hours mobile number. The next day I went in to reception to report the gas knobs and another problem .the staff member was sarcastic and unhelpful. She didn’t even log the gas knobs it was only when the electrician came he then spoke to gas man. This was a dangerous problem as the gas was left in as it was difficult to turn off with the broken knobs. . the rest of the staff were extremely helpful
Carol from Aberystwyth (22 September 2017)

We only ate in the site but found the staff very friendly and helpful
Adrian from Truro (22 September 2017)

Great place and facilities but let down by the prices on site and the poor quality of food available
Paul from Mansfield (18 September 2017)

After moving caravan 3 times due to health & safety issues, we finally had a good stay at the site. A few niggles with faulty equipment too but a very helpful maintenance guy.
Rebecca from Sheffield (16 September 2017)

When booking this holiday we asked for a higher range caravan what we got was a disabled one. When I enquired atthe reception they said was that we had booked that one as it was a neath. Not at all impreseed and we left early.
Maureen (16 September 2017)

The caravan was not the one we booked it was a different name
Joseph (15 September 2017)

Enjoyed our week at trecco bay, we were very comfortable and well cared for, nearly everything required is on site and the staff pleasant and helpful, well done!
Brian from Peterchurch, Hereford (15 September 2017)

Apart from the caravan wasn't very clean really enjoyed
Neil from Pontardawe (15 September 2017)

All the staff were very friendly, polite, and professional, the park was clean, highly organised and pleasant to stay in, and the caravan very clean and modern with a high standard of essentials. Small things that needed attention were toilet seat was loose, knob for grill on cooker was broken and needs replacing, the boiler for the shower kept switching on and off so the water kept going from hot to cold when taking a shower which was most annoying, lighting in the caravan was not bright enough, entrance to the indoor swimming pool was through the gambling machines which is not right for the children, there should be a separate door outside the swimming pool complex, couldn't find the plug for the kitchen sink, cigarette ends need removing from outside the caravan numbered co11, the cooker looked a bit rusty and dated but worked ok, and there needs to be instructions on how to use the central heating which is via the knob on the boiler in the cupboard above the toilet. Apart from those minor things the facilities were excellent especially the staff who always made you feel welcome and kept a brave face on all the stress they must encounter dealing with large volumes of customers each and every day. All of them deserve a bonus especially the guys and women who kept the site and caravans clean to a very high standard. Thank you to all the staff.
Steve from Vietnam (08 September 2017)

Very good park but beware it is huge but staff very good.what is on entertainment was not very clear one venue was advertised as closed but on leaving other venue we found second venue was open despite notice on door saying it was closed. Entertainment for young children was very good.
Marilyn from Portsmouth (08 September 2017)

Caravan had few problems tele didn't work curtains off track blind in toilet stuck very dirty radiator reported it they said they came but didn't husband fixed television but we left rest it cost me ??? pounds never worth it and they need to sort out booking in we didn't get keys till 5 30 as there was such a very very lot off people even the man said to me it was rediculuce
Customer 56 (08 September 2017)

It was okay for the price we paid (off season). I wouldn't want to go back in the school holidays. . also despite a 10 mph speed the limit around the park, most of the 'parkdean' staff seemed to think it was okay for them to drive faster than this.
Nadine (08 September 2017)

We had a lovely break in what would arguably be the best weather week of the whole summer! thoroughly enjoyed the break but found the park very busy. the caravan we stayed in was an older model and although a little tired looking, was clean and served the purpose. we found that no matter what time of day we considered going swimming it was always busy so didn't make much use of the passes.
Fiona from Wellington (02 September 2017)

Loved the holiday but very disappointed with the caravan, it smelt bad in the shower. The staff were very good and cleaned it but the problem did not go away. The floor in the shower room was soft underneath I was afraid I was going to go through it. We had our two dogs with us so I think this was why we were given a grotty van.
Sheila from Stockport (02 September 2017)

Booked a two bedroom caravan but was not impressed with it for how much I paid.even so there was lots to do on site it seemed the locals are allowed to use some of the facilities which I think is bad when you paid good money to use them yourself.nice beaches on site and just up the road but not my sort of holiday and would not return.
Erika from Northants (02 September 2017)

My wife and children thoroughly enjoyed trevor bay lots to do nice and friendly staff great place to go with the family definitely going back next year!
Phillip from Finedon (02 September 2017)

I would definitely stay at trecco bay again. the entertainments team were really good and always went out of their way to make sure that all guests had a good time. the park is well kept and very level, so it is accessible for the disabled. the swimming pool is great on a hot afternoon.
Martin from Birmingham (02 September 2017)

The overall rating is good the facilities /location & surroundings were good. The staff were very helpful. Value for money was good.
Colin from Honiton (02 September 2017)

The caravan we stayed in was wonderful and porthcawl is beautiful. However the clientele, people who go on holiday to trecco bay were awful and so were their children. We did not use many of the facilities because the people ruined it.
Carly from Newbury (02 September 2017)

Always a great place, that's why we keep coming back.
Jan from Macclesfield (02 September 2017)

The place was good but expensive, showdome was too hot but other bars were fine. Some nearby beaches were stunning. The caravan was a bit dated but it was clean and it did us for the week. Overall good holiday and would go back.
John (02 September 2017)

This is a very clean and tidy caravan site with up to date caravans and plenty of things to keep the youngsters busy. the only disappointed thing was we qued for 20 minutes to use the swimming pool and you can only spend an hour before you are asked to leave
Ian from Leyland (01 September 2017)

We had good time. The weather was amazing: mostly sunny and warm. Our caravan was very clean and as we have expected it to be. Lots of things to occupy children in the park. Considering the size of the park, which is the biggest I have seen in uk so far, a bigger swimming pool would be appropriate.
Biniyam from Uxbridge (01 September 2017)

The site itself is lovely lots to do rain or shine- luckily we had shine! you couldn't get closer to the beach, its location was perfect! . our caravan which wasn't the cheapest option we paid for was disgustingly dirty (i don't complain much and get on with things but it was disgusting!) I asked for it to be cleaned again and when we returned it had a smell of bleach about it but was still unacceptable! felt this ruined it slightly.
Becky from Bristol (01 September 2017)

Wonderful beaches. Enjoyed the entertainment. It made a pleasant change for the music to be more up to date
Richard from Bristol (01 September 2017)

A great holiday
Rosina (01 September 2017)

Booked to go back in a few months. Loads to do beach is fantastic. Sandy beach with rock pools.
Sarah from Chertsey (01 September 2017)

I enjoyed my stay at treccobay . the staff were very friendly, this was my third stay, the park is always clean and tidy and the caravans are very spacious and cosey
Jennifer from Westbury Wiltshire (01 September 2017)

We all had such an amazing time at trecco bay the park was great with lots of things to do. The nearby beaches were beautiful and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The evening entertainment was very good. Will definitely be booking again for next year.
Michelle from Burnley (01 September 2017)

Great place for family's lots for the kids, great swimming pool (but gets very busy,go early ) lovely private beach,2 mins walk away. caravan clean and tidy, and surprisley comfy beds! would defiantly go back!
Laura from Malvern (01 September 2017)

Great location, beach & site facilities. Fantastic swimming pool. Caravan was as described & clean just lacked basic items like a plug for the kitchen or bathroom sink. Lovely surprise a treat bag for the dog.
Susan from Cradley Heath (01 September 2017)

Fab holiday would definitely return.
Sian from Sutton Coldfield (28 August 2017)

Had a really great time and pleasant surroundings . only issue was caravan stunk of cigarette smoke and didn't realise you had to specify non smoking . I would have expected all to be non smoking .
Katherine from Redditch (28 August 2017)

Very big park. Mini golf was good fun. Restaurants expensive but onsite so convenient. The splash park and pool were very clean as was the rest of the park
Helen from Warwickshire (28 August 2017)

Beds extremely uncomfortable, worst night sleeps ever.
Mariyam from Leicester (28 August 2017)

We were very disappointed with the caravan which we paid extra for as we wanted a really nice one so did not go for a cheaper option. On arrival we had to get the cleaning staff in as there was toothpaste and hair in the sink unit of the bathroom. We believe a pet had been in there as we had little white hairs on our clothes the cups ha to be washed before we could use them and one half of the sofa was obviously damaged very uncomfortable to sit on.
Customer 81 from Fitzjohn (26 August 2017)

This is a large park with very good facilities. some of the caravans seem a bit close together and close to the park roads which we found a little noisy at times. overall though a good holiday.
Michael from Stafford (26 August 2017)

The first night the "entertainment" was blasted on loud speakers across the park, just when trying to get children to sleep. the quality of said entertainment would not encourage anyone to go along.
Sharon from Spalding (26 August 2017)

When we opened the door of the static holiday home we were overcome by the smell of cannibis. Customer services addressed the problem really quickly and provided a meal voucher to use whilst the deep clean took place
Brian from Derby (26 August 2017)

Fabulous site right on the beach front, facilities good. Only negative I would say is that there wasn't a clear guide for each evening outlet so we had no idea what was on offer. Also missed family bingo in the evenings as it was only on 5.30 & not in the main showdome, but didnt ruin our holiday. All in all I would return to this park again.
Emma from Poole (26 August 2017)

We stayed at trecco bay in a rhondda caravan in february and loved it so much we paid extra to book the exact same caravan for our week in august which was to be our 4th stay at this park. We love it here due to the wide range of facilities which keep our son occupied. We were extremely disappointed to find that in just 6 months the caravan had deteriorated, broken/peeling furniture, dirty kitchen with rice still on the side and hob. The door would not close or lock when we arrived and reception were great. Despite being extremely busy, the maintenance man was there repairing it before we even walked back! being main season it was too noisy, especially at night and our parents returned home a day early but this is not something the park can be held responsible for and having loved staying here so often in the past, we have concluded that we will return but will avoid the main summer holidays in future.
Julie (26 August 2017)

Trecco bay is a large site, the caravan we had was very clean and had everything we needed. There was lots of entertainment however the large room didn't have any air conditioning or fans, it was so hot in there that we had to leave. . the next beach over from us called sandy bay is a lovely beach which is next to a funfair, they also have a fireworks display every tuesday night. . the children loved body boarding in the sea- so take plenty of beach equipment-picnics etc. Lots of extra activities are also available like archery, pedal cars, but these cost more money.
Kelly (25 August 2017)

A good family holiday, lots to do but as it was august some of the facilities were very busy.
Katherine from Derby (25 August 2017)

Great place. Would return
Helen from Dorset (25 August 2017)

Everything was good but the prices of things in the park are quite expensive.
Robin from Nottingham (25 August 2017)

This was 1 of the best places we have ever stayed at loads of staff on hand in every area, there was something for everyone bein a mum of 3 ( 5yr old, 9yr old & 13yr old) it's hard to please all but this place had everything from swimming, go cart's, bowling, mini golf, park, sports bar for the other half !! could not fault this place 1 bit actually looking to book up again nxt yr
Donna from Wolverhampton (25 August 2017)

Lovely holiday, lots to do with the kids, caravan clean.
Christine (25 August 2017)

Very good facilities for a holiday park. Brilliant swimming pool for young kids
Marie (21 August 2017)

The facilities and location was great. The only disappointment was how unsafe the indoor play area was due to parents not supervising their children. Lots of children kept climbing up the slides which resulted in our daughter badly banging head when she came down the slide and bumped into two girls. My daughter felt ill for the rest of the day. I spoke to the member of staff at the desk of the indoor play area to suggest they put clear signs up stating no climbing up the slides. I explained about my daughter getting hurt and she was extremely rude to me! she implied it was my fault that I was not supervising my child. I was only trying to offer advice to avoid more accidents. I did supervise my children but I can not supervise other people's. It is a shame that this one member of staff spoilt our holiday and I really wish I had made a formal complaint about her, I did not as I my children with me and did not want to cause a scene. Every other staff member was polite and helpful.
Karen from Newbury (21 August 2017)

We enjoyed our holiday with each other. the facilities were not too bad. what was disappointing though was the space within bedrooms. each was very tight, minimal room, and minimal storage space. there was also nowhere to put our day clothes when we went to bed. in addition the table was not big enough for eight people to sit around. . the points did not matter too much as we were there for three nights only but would have been very uncomfortable for a week
Austin (21 August 2017)

Very expensive for the use of facilities available. . . caravan was dirty on arrival. . fed up of queuing up over an hour each time for swimming and a considerable time for dinner each night too. . . went home three days early because we were board silly.
Alan (21 August 2017)

Better suited to families with older children
Katie from Eastleigh (19 August 2017)

This was our 2nd visit to trecco bay we had a great week lots to do we enjoyed the entertainment and onsite food was lovely will definitely go back
Claire from Telford (19 August 2017)

A very good site but we did find the caravan beds very uncomfortable!!!
Sarah from Oxford (19 August 2017)

Lovely holiday park. We stayed in the caephilly style caravan which was very clean. The only issue was the main heater in the living area which did not work but the staff was very quick to replace it with a portable heater, however we did not need it. We have re-booked for next year whilst we were there.
Natalie from Kings Lynn (19 August 2017)

Children between 5&13. Lots to do. Beautiful beach . pool was a bit tired and shabby and we only used it once as I didn't feel it was very clean .
Claire from Stafford (19 August 2017)

Very expensive to eat and drink on complex. Too many arcades for children they will be addicted to gambling before they are of age. Entertainment passes very basic and do not cover what the children want to use/play on. Caravan dirt under beds and in draws. Someones dirty socks under cabinet in bedroom. Kitchen equipment very sparse, inventory supplied no reflection of what present. Curtains especially at door access constantly falling down, carpets and upholstery stained.
Joan (18 August 2017)

The caravan was below average standard and in my opinion well over priced. . there was lots of disturbance during the night due to the foxes fighting nearby and quite frightening for my young children . we didn't manage to sleep most nights because of the noise. The park itself was very confusing and difficult to find our caravan, it's not marked out clearly and doesn't follow any numeric order.
Shivarni from London (18 August 2017)

Very clean, tidy caravan, facilities and gardens, staff were fantastic , food in the restaurant was fantastic to, overall a great site , would definitely visit again
Mike from Verwood (18 August 2017)

The mobile home was clean - it was new 2017. The home had all the basic necessities. Sadly, being rather "packed in" the noisy neighbours next door did disturb us quite a lot from early in the morning till very late at night (early hours of the morning). . the park itself is large. It is clean and well maintained.
Sarah from Taunton (18 August 2017)

Trecco bay is a beautiful caravan site in a fantastic location. The park is absolutely spotlessly clean. There was always someone around litter picking and we commented a few times that the park was the cleanest we have been to. . the caravan itself was great. My only problem was there was a funny smell when we first went in but after we aired it it was fine. We ate at the restaurant three times and had no problems. The food was lovely especially the carvery. The park is in a fantastic location. There is so much to do within a 30 minute drive. The beaches are right on your doorstep and porthcawl is about a 15 minute walk away. My only issue was the lack on pavements around the park. We felt like we were forever dodging cars. Overall it was a lovely holiday and we would definitely return in the future.
Sarah from Warrington (18 August 2017)

Lovely spot, need more bar staff outside of the entertainment venue especially between midday and check in time as people turn up early and want something to whet their whistle after a long journey. The entertainment venue would benefit from having air conditioning as it was far too warm!
Peter from Lancaster (14 August 2017)

I was suprised at how big the site was but it was just a short walk to the beach the site had everything except for postcards to send home
Angela (14 August 2017)

Had a fantastic time. Staff friendly and helpful
Sarah (14 August 2017)

We had a fab week at trecco bay. Would highly recommend.
Jenni from Aylesbury (12 August 2017)

An extremely big caravan park with lots for children to do.
Hayley from Stanford Le Hope (11 August 2017)

Staff friendly enough and caravan pretty clean. the facilities on the website make it look fantastic, just a pity it doen't live up to expectation!. . considering the cost, you would expect all play areas to be free but you still have to pay for the soft play area which I find unbelievable considering this is a family led site!. . had pizza at pregos and you even had to pay for tomato sauce, which again, considering the holiday cost, you would expect tiny things like this to be free. . the best night we had was when we went out to the fun-fair over at the next bay along the beach -- absolutely fantastic! . . the food is good enough at all the eateries apart from the diner which is awful and very overpriced. . the outdoor spash zone is only open on the hottest of days (so closed most of the time) and there is a band system for the pool in high season so you onlt get a hour in the indoor pool before beinv called out to let others in! get there early as the queues get very big, very quickly and it took some families over an hour before getting into the pool. . overall, overpriced and wouldn't say it was worth what we paid.
Robert (11 August 2017)

Enjoyed holidays as always
Sue (11 August 2017)

The holiday was as expected, really. the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and tidy. I thought that the food options both in the restaurants and the shops were limited, in particular in terms of fresh fruit and veg. . . . I would have liked to have seen more information about what was there to do around and about the locations. . the children loved the swimming pool!
Elizabeth from Ottery St Mary (11 August 2017)

Was so impressed with trecco bay - everything was top standards - clean - relaxed - and staff excellent and friendly
Shelley from London (11 August 2017)

I actually purchased two caravans and the review I wrote about one exactly fits the other. They were both neath.
Barbara (07 August 2017)

Really clean park. Good friendly helpful staff. Great entertainment. Lovely swimming facilities.
Nicola (07 August 2017)

All that was missing was the weather and that is beyond anyone's control. Our three small children loved the whole thing.
Barbara from Kenilworth (07 August 2017)

Lots of things to do! kids had lots of fun. Staff friendly, beach just nearby. We didn't even get out of the park for kids are already occupied for our 4 days stay.
Jennifer from Huntingdon, Cambs (07 August 2017)

Overall a good holiday, the kids enjoyed themselves and it's in a nice location. The caravan (nottage elm) was not up to standard. It was dirty and did not have basics. The oven did not work and was reported nothing was done so instead we ate out all the time at large cost. The park was busy which meant long queues for food and drink which could be helped with additional staff at peak times.
Andrew from Solihull (07 August 2017)

Brilliant holiday. Only complaint was that the entertainment was too loud to actualy be able to hear without being deafened. Even the children complained so we only went to show some one night
Rebecca from Mid Wales (07 August 2017)

Had an absolutely fantastic time. With so much to do on site and within walking distance, there's no need to drive anywhere. It's perfect for kids - our 4 year old an 1 year old loved every minute. The staff, particularly the troupers, were really friendly. A special shout out to shannon, billy and shea, who made our kids' holidays with their friendliness.
Michael from Droitwich (07 August 2017)

Caravan was clean and comfortable. Good location on the site- handy for beach and leisure facilities.
Suzanne from Walsall (07 August 2017)

Had a lovely time. thought caravans could have been a little nicer for the price. But would go again
Tina from Sutton In Ashfield (07 August 2017)

Was not overly pleased that you had to pay for childs softplay area.this is first time on any sites we have stayed on previous holidays
Brian from Watford (05 August 2017)

I loved the beaches and would definitely return. It was a magical week for our family.
Ursula from Meopham. (05 August 2017)

The staff, particularly the life guards and swimming pool staff and the lady on the till at soft play, were lovely, vigilant and friendly. The caravan we had was newish, had no pets, and well looked after so was nice, only problem was the shower but we managed. The food was reasonable but I think drinks were overpriced really. As we stayed during peak season, there were a lot of people so had to queue to swim on one occasion and almost impossible to get a table for entertainment in evening but we didn't really mind.
Sarah from Bournemouth (05 August 2017)

Site is to a high standard but found it to far out from other attractions could do with better welcome pack i.e. More information on things around the site more leaflets in pack
William from St Albans (05 August 2017)

The staff whilst helpful required more training especially in the bar areas, also some of them needed clean uniforms. . the security guards in the showdome were a bit extreme for a family park, particularly the one who dealt with our two year old granddaughter.
Alison from Delamere (05 August 2017)

Lovely park . lots to do and see . very clean and well maintained
Jen from S Wales (04 August 2017)

Had a great time, fab staff
Tamla (04 August 2017)

Lovely holiday but a it on the pricy side for 4 nights.
Linda from Burton On Trent (04 August 2017)

I booked a last minute break I can not fault the holiday itself. But the caravan we stayed in was not worth the money we paid it felt as though the bathroom floor was going to give away.
Jane from Leeds (04 August 2017)

The site was very clean, wasn't too keen on club entertainment as felt it a but babyish for 7-9 year olds and was way too loud for comfortable sitting. was very disappointed with the quality of the expensive caravan! I expected more luxury accommodation for the price
Christine from Plymouth, Devon (04 August 2017)

Had a lovely holiday .caravan was close to facilities have twins aged 4 so was ideal walking distance close to lovely beach as well bit crowded I club at night
Customer 135 from Lydney Glos (04 August 2017)

Great! weather not good but plenty to do and kept children happily occupied.
Christine from Solihull (04 August 2017)

The facilities were good but not enough for the size of the site.
Claire (04 August 2017)

A lovely holiday park with a lovely beach at its doorstep
Suhaila from London (04 August 2017)

Wasn't a great week as it rained every day so anything indoors was packed. Long queues for swimming. other tjan swimming, arcades and softplay there is nothing to do when raining and nothing locally to do. Beach is lovely and would have been a great place if not for the weather.
Jennie from Cheshire (04 August 2017)

Lots to do and family friendly. overall the facilities of trecco bay were good and the beach is fantastic.
Carrie from Oldham (04 August 2017)

Initial caravan was really dirty and various things were unusable. Also a really bad smell of damp or ammonia coming from one of the bedrooms. This caused us to ask for a move to a new caravan as we felt it was inhabitable.
Andrew from Liverpool (04 August 2017)

Children had a brilliant time
Veronica (31 July 2017)

Trecco bay could be an amazing family holiday destination, however, the facilities were very understaffed. Que's and people waiting for food in all the restaurants and take-aways. The staff were very pleasant but they all looked harassed. The site had lots of different things for kids but expect to spend a lot in the arcade! the activities were priced fairly. the beaches were amazing. We had a lot of fun.
Katie (31 July 2017)

Had a great stay at trecco bay. the park has some really good facilities indoor and outdoor. good choice of food and drink and being right on the beach is fantastic. we didn't really access the entertainments on offer and you queue for the swimming pool during busy periods which was really the only negative we took away. once in though the pool is great. would stay again.
Stuart from Maidstone (31 July 2017)

My children loved their week there ! it was our second time at trecco bay and no doubt will not be our last
Sam from London (31 July 2017)

The site itself was clean and adequate, however it was only the start of the summer holidays and already very busy. The caravan we stayed in was a pet friendly one.(we had a pet with us) but it was covered in dog hair and had a very musty smell. I tried to hoover but the hooer was useless.we spent as much time as we could outside, unfortunately the weather wasn't great towards the end of the week so we packed up and left 2 days early.
Catherine (29 July 2017)

Excellent customer service , foodlively and bar prices a little high! we had two issues that were resolved almost instantaneously, very impressive! clean site , great staff , beach access was great! only issue was amount of broken glass bottles on the beach !
Deana from Orpington (29 July 2017)

Lovely caravan and caravan park. Kids loved the pool however we did have to queue at times to get in. Big sandy beach and seafront amusements within walking distance with fair, but fair seemed to open at odd times. Would definately go back again.
Elizabeth from Coventry (29 July 2017)

Paid top price for that week but we did not get top entertainment
Paul (29 July 2017)

Lovely park with lots to do. The pool was very busy on rainy days and was queuing for a good 30+ mins the system they had in place really needs to be reviewed
Rhiannon from Gloucestershire (29 July 2017)
