Really enjoyed the holiday. Caravan was clean spacious and tidy. There was something for every age. The choices of food was good. The prices in the shop surprised me by how reasonable they were.
Sue from Bristol (30 September 2016)

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at trecco bay , we enjoyed the caravan was lovely and would definatley stay again
Linda from Llanelli (30 September 2016)

Best place ever just right for our family break with our dog
Julia from Oxfordshire (30 September 2016)

Arrived andhad issues with caravan so staff moved us with no issues. Site is massive and lots to do. Staff that I came in contact with were very helpful and friendly.
Jack from Altrincham (19 September 2016)

The facilities and caravan were lacking in hygiene and cleanliness. We were surprised that we had to pay additionally for the indoor play area and weren't aware that the dodgems had a height restriction so our 2 year old was most disappointed that he couldn't use them.
Jen (16 September 2016)

Was ok staff were nice although kids club was grubby floor & carpets could do with a good clean nice that could walk to porthcawl only a few minutes we took our dog couldn't understand why ther were no dog bins for the dog poo on site apart from at the beach front and you can't take dogs on the beach should be like weymouth have a designated area for them just thought I would let others know who are thinking of taking there dogs with them nice field just of park to walk the dogs but site not really dog friendly
Angela from Bristol (12 September 2016)

Not vary friendly staff.plus didn't let us no that the entertainment schedule had been changed on the saturday that we arrived.plus the beach was very rocky and the sea tied was aways out..
Phillip from Oxford (10 September 2016)

Great park lovely area nice staff.
John from Paignton (09 September 2016)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at trecco bay. Will definitely stay again.
Rachel from Nottinghan (09 September 2016)

Had a great time. Weather helped but plenty to do if weather not so great.
Donna (09 September 2016)

We've done many caravan holidays over the years within the uk and trecco bay rates highly. The site is very large and the caravans are tightly arranged however there was room to park next to the caravan which was convenient. our 3 bed caravan was very modern and spacious and came with all of the features and accessories that you could want. There were a few places on the site where you could buy food (pizza, fish & chips, burgers etc.) and a shop. Entertainment was also quite good. The site is right on the doorstep of quite a nice beach which was patrolled by lifeguards. The site is also nicely situated so that visits to swansea, the mumbles, plantasia etc. Are not too far away in a car.
Allan from Warrington (03 September 2016)

Great holiday, beautiful beach next to the park. Kids had a ball. Caravan was nice but sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable so would opt for that again.
Rebekah from Norfolk (03 September 2016)

There's a lot that would make the place better better prizes on the tickets it's a joke no bingo when you have kids coz there not aloud in and the caravans not great we had a ken fig and the toilet is a joke iam big but if any bigger and you wouldn't get in so we had to put up with that all week and when you want serving just not enough staff spent most of the time in lines waiting to get severd of waiting to got swimming well in my mined that's not having a good time and in the long run you miss out coz no one will buy
Dominic from Devon (03 September 2016)

We had a great holiday. The location right next to the beach was fantastic. Beautiful sandy, clean beach. Children's activities were really good including kayaking and football. The dogs enjoyed it too
Julie from Nottinghamshire (02 September 2016)

Fantastic place will be visiting again
Kirsty from Leeds (02 September 2016)

Lovely caravan, good facilities would stay again
Sara (02 September 2016)

Silvia from Birmingham (02 September 2016)

Lovely enjoyable short holiday for the children, good, clean facilities with beaches close by. Would stay again
Paul (02 September 2016)

Great seaside caravan park. Very clean and tidy with good facilities and a fantastic location!
Bryan from Sutton Coldfield (02 September 2016)

Fantastic caravan park with great facilities. the only issue we had was had chips from the on site chip shop and the chips were rock hard. We didn't complain because didn't want to walk back to the chip shop but very disappointed.
Louise from Walsall (02 September 2016)

Fantastic
Sean (02 September 2016)

Lovely holiday with lots of facilities, not that we used much as the weather was so beautiful we spent all our time on the beach.
Ann from Bedford (29 August 2016)

Trecco bay is lovely and we enjoyed being there again ,but the caravan was very basic and old a lot of the kitchen equipment was missing and it didn't feel very clean and we paid a lot of money for a long weekend.
David from Plymouth (29 August 2016)

The only two things worse you have to pay to going to the soft play area. And unfortunately there wasn't enough seats at night in the club house
Elizabeth from Swindon (29 August 2016)

We loved many aspects of our holiday and would happily return to trecco bay. The site is clean and well looked after, bring in the perfect location to enjoy three lovely beaches. There was plenty to do through the onsite entertainment and amenities and our three year old still talks about her experiences and happy memories every day. . a couple of gripes: queuing being the main one. Noticed many people complain about the swimming pool queue; that's not so bad and probably justifiable. If you go early or late then it's not really a problem. Queuing for food and drinks can be awful, however. You can wait for up to half an hour to get served because there aren't enough staff on, or they are having to make coffee after coffee, or mainly because they are gossiping. A further frustrating moment came when the entertainment for the 0-4s didn't turn up one morning. Nobody communicated this to the waiting children or parents, even though people must have been aware of the situation and it took 45 minutes, by which time most had left for someone to turn up. Special mention to the entertainer, pete, who was the person who turned up as he gave the most sincere apology you could ask for and across the course of the week you could tell he genuinely cared about people's experiences and worked tirelessly to make others happy.
Mike from Droitwich (29 August 2016)

Nice park great beach although very busy in the club and we were unable to find a seat with a young family this was not ideal so the rest of the week avoided the evening entertainment which was a shame. Only having an hour at a time in the pool was disapointing especially on wet days the queing was also frustrating on the whole a good park but would not book again
Victoria from Holsworthy Devon (27 August 2016)

We absolutely love trecco bay! myself, my partner, our kids ranging from age 1-15 and our dog have a great time at trecco
Joanne from Swindon (26 August 2016)

Caravan was full of mold, curtains half ripped off. Body fuild stains on the bedding, caravan stank of smoke. We asked to be moved and was told they were fully booked stay where we were or go home. So we left without any refund!!! booked friday to monday and left saturday night. . . we deserved a refund
Kim (22 August 2016)

Site very clean, despite being a large site it never felt overcrowded. Great location by a beautiful beach and a short walk to porthcawl. Only downside food outlets in site quite expensive which is to be expected
Helen from Bolton (22 August 2016)

I think had the weather been better the holiday would have been amazing, the evening entertainment was excellent, however activities that weren't paid for didn't run and the staff didn't seem too interested. Staff were unaware of changes to procedures, and we were mislead regarding some of the provisions made for disabled people. We enjoyed the holiday overall but feel a couple of staff members need retraining.
Jo from Trecco Bay (22 August 2016)

The children enjoyed the whole experience - we found the entertainment a bit grim though, and the restaurants expensive. we will go on another caravanning holiday.
Gweneth from Lancaster (22 August 2016)

How unclean our caravan was the biggest upset. Cleanliness became an issue in other parts of the park too. The main family club was far too small for the amount of people staying on the park site, therefore finding a table to sit on and enjoy the entertainment required you to sit up in the club hours before the entertainment started. The only positive was that the staff in the reception/ greeting area were as helpful as possible. The duty manager also tried his best to accommodate us. We were a party of 3 adults, 2 children & 2 dogs. So that wasn't an easy task!
Alison from Walsall (22 August 2016)

Very unhappy. The whole caravan stunk and there was mold everywhere. For the money I paid I could have gone butlins.
Martinus from London (15 August 2016)

Trecco bay in porthcawl was a great getaway for a long weekend with our two kids (aged 11 & 9) plus their grandparents. We stayed in a lovely 'margam' caravan, which was really modern & spotlessly clean. All bed linen was provided and beds were really comfy. The beaches were really nice and the kids loved walking down there. The facilities on-site were also very good..arcade, swimming pool, dodgems, crazy golf, and big outdoor play area were all favourites. We couldn't fault this holiday park, and it was very good value for money. Most evenings we stayed in our caravan and played games/watched films etc, so I cant comment on the evening entertainment. The kids also loved the funfair at coney beach (a short 5 min drive away!) yes it is pretty tacky there, but the rides were great and lots for the kids to go on (maybe not so much for little ones, but perfect for our 11 & 9yr olds!). we would definitely visit trecco bay again. It is a great family destination.
Suzie (15 August 2016)

Great facilities and gorgeous beach.
Dawn (15 August 2016)

The site needs more facilities for the size of it especially another pool because it was always busy.
Cara from Coventry (13 August 2016)

Me and my family had a great holiday and we are coming back next year already book
Keith from Swindon (13 August 2016)

Did not find that this site was anywhere near the usual quality of parkdean sites we have stayed at. the beach was gorgeous but the general cleanliness of the site and accommodation was not as would have been expected,
Barbara from Newbury (13 August 2016)

Great location, I just didn't feel it was worth the cost.
Stephen from Lancaster (13 August 2016)

A fun park . excellent pool. Had to queue for swimming but choose your times and its not too long. Beach lovely but too windy to sit on . sea good for paddling but too rough for swimming. Not much space between vans but a quiet site at night.
Cathy from Middlesex (13 August 2016)

Fantastic holiday can't wait to go again
Gina from Porthcawl (12 August 2016)

Lovely place caravan was lovely, staff were helpful. we had half board and was impressed with the portions. only thing was that no fruit was provided, on offer and I cannot recall much fruit choice in the shops. on the whole my family had a fun time. thank you.
Ann from London (12 August 2016)

Great place for families, would stay again.
John from Milton Keynes (12 August 2016)

Whilst the 3 bedrooms were a little tight for space, they were very comfortable. The main down side was that there was only 1 socket in the kitchen which meant you could not make toast and tea at the same time, and twice during the week the electrics blew because of a faulty kettle, whilst it was a problem, the electrician was soon with us and on the second day replaced the kettle. The food was ok if you like fast food, but if you wanted proper food (carvery) etc there were not enough tables, they could either do with twice as many tables or open a second eaterie. The pool was fantastic and well organised so it never seemed over crowded and there was never a really long wait.
Brian from Chorley (12 August 2016)

To summarize briefly, 1) site too big. Incessant road humps, noisey loutish behaviour from some nearby neighbours, very poor beach, poor quality air from port talbot. Extremely expensive for accommodation provided, equal to hotel prices! bar prices so dear we only visited once. Music system from the stage again so loud we could not talk to one another, when most of the audience were children not youngsters out clubbing. Most of the staff ( not all) were scruffy and not one said a "good morning" or "hello" as if they had received no training in customer relations. Perhaps this is a serious managerial fault rather than an individual one. The system appeared complacent. It needs to be looked at from a visitors point of view. Car parking is another major issue at peak times, as if parking spaces are sacrificed to accommodate more mobile homes. Profit has blinded the neccesities for an easy, enjoyable vacation. As someone who travels and has experienced years of varied holidays I rate our stay low. You could do better but you must view your venue in a different way and compare with others. You need to lead not plod along with the status quo.
John from Basingstoke (12 August 2016)

We had a good holiday. Trecco bay is ideally located with all the amenities. good faclities.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (12 August 2016)

We really enjoyed our holiday. Trecco bay is next to beautiful beaches and clear sea. . the only thing that let it down was coast restaurant. But we will definately be back!
Laura from Worcester (12 August 2016)

Amazing and perfect place to holiday
Katie from New Mills (12 August 2016)

We had a good week at trecco bay and had weather to allow us to enjoy the beach. We wanted a chill out week and got it. Wouldn't return purely because we have done the area now and like to look elsewhere. We had a 2016 caravan and it was well equipped and furnished.
Darren from Connahs Quay (12 August 2016)

Good location & great facilities on site. Caravan was basic & in need of updating. I wouldn't want to stay in it during the colder months but was ok for summer. We would re-visit trecco bay in the future. Great for kids & pets.
Louise from Birmingham (12 August 2016)

If the weather was good, the site has enough to offer, however on one day,my daughter had to queue for 1 hour 15 minutes to get in to the swimming facilities and could only stay for 1 hour. The queue went from one end of the amusement arcade to the other.......
Geoff (08 August 2016)

Lovely site and great staff however costly for all on site.
Jaclyn (06 August 2016)

Park was too large not a close family atmosphere..tables in club hse too small and the queue for the pool was an hour long ...food on site pretty poor even by holiday park standards .caravan clean though
Sarah from Wgc (06 August 2016)

Lovely place .. in a great area. Close to alot of things. not cheap to eat oit anywhere near though
Alexandra (06 August 2016)

Great holiday for all ages but did cost a lot for basic caravan. Want to come again definitely
Kell from Huddersfield (06 August 2016)

My grandchildren enjoyed their week, which was the reason for the holiday. the staff were cheerful. the minus points are: I had to ask for a coffee table and there was a lack of serving dishes, measuring jug and kitchen bowls. I would certainly recommend the park, especially for families.
Carina from Canterbury (06 August 2016)

Worst holiday we have ever had. To expensive, from the chippy, the shop, the pizzeria, the bar, the gift shop, rock shop and the nightly bingo. The caravan was old and uncomfortable. The oven was filthy. Most of the staff looked miserable(except reception staff). good points about trecco bay, near the beach and asda was only a few miles at pyle.
Alan from Manchester (06 August 2016)

Lovely location, fab clean park..but swimming pool needs to be a lot bigger for the size of park..
Jane from Brighton (06 August 2016)

Brilliant site made for a great family holiday excellent site would recommend it
Jean from Belfast (05 August 2016)

Happy overall but very expensive accommodation vise. (very small caravan but clean) would stay again but in a bigger accommodation.
Mobashra from London (05 August 2016)

We went to trecco bay mon-fri the first week of aug as a family of 4 with a 2 & 4 year old. although the weather was poor there was still plenty to do. . our caravan was of a good quality & very clean. . the only downsides to our stay was the temperature in the showdome in the evening, it was boiling & the weather outside was only average. Also the cost of the drinks, we expected them to be higher than the local pub but even we were surprised. All said and done we would still return.
Emma from Swindon (05 August 2016)

Fab holiday great camp.
Terry from Banbury (05 August 2016)

The park is simply too big for the facilities. One small pool with a waiting time of approximately 1 hour and once you get in it's sessioned so you get around 45 minutes. . . the showbar I guess may have been good. We didn't get to find out as it was packed every night from around 6:30pm with not even any standing room I could see. . food in the main restaurant was pretty good but quite expensive. Pizza place on site is just an utter rip off £5 for a portion of chips. Really? . . fish and chip shop was better value but unfortunately the quality was below par. The kids wouldn't even eat the chips and somehow the shop managed to keep the inside raw whilst burning the outside of them. . onsite shop all goods were an average £1 more than the co-op up the road. Par for the course I guess. . we enjoyed our week at the park but just felt short changed. Kids were gutted about the pool. We would have been there every morning if it wasn't so painful to get in the thing.
Graham from Bracknell (05 August 2016)

Amazing holiday it's a very busy holiday park would be my only negative so things like swimming is near enough impossible could not even get in once during the whole 7 days we was there. Entertainment was fantastic and all the staff seemed very friendly my kids loved the kids club but again it was so busy
Amy (05 August 2016)

First time staying in a holiday park with the children, I wasn't sure how it would be but I was pleasantly surprised, the park was nice the staff friendly, we were able to get in the caravan 2 hours early and the caravan was really nice and modern and only a short walk from the facilities and the beach. We all had a pretty good time, the only letdown was that it rained half the week we were there.
Louise from Uxbridge (05 August 2016)

Disappointed too long a wait for pool on a wet day. Would be better to cut time in pool so more people could use it.
Sharon from Castleford (05 August 2016)

Excellent location as on the beach with all the facilities available but not cheap. caravan excellent too. Would love to stay again! worth the money if sharing. Porthcawl is only on the next beach with fun fair.
Lisa from Burnley (05 August 2016)

Great park, fantastic swimming pool.
Matthew from Nuneaton (05 August 2016)

The holiday park was great, entertainment, staff and facilities superb, the only think that let it down a bit was porthcawl itself which wasn't great. That said, there's more than enough to keep you busy onsite for the week. The onsite water park is great too and free. Will definitely be coming back.
Mark from Bolton (05 August 2016)

Great holiday! lovely park, clean and friendly. We had a fatadtic time with plenty going on to keep everyone happy even when it's raining. The caravan was really comfortable and modern. Would definitely go back again!!
Clare from Wrexham (05 August 2016)

The holiday park and caravan we stayed in was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed for the week we stayed. The location of the beach to the caravan park is fantastic.
Jillian from Birkenhead (01 August 2016)

Love it
Sue (01 August 2016)

Great holiday. Food bit pricey for families. American diner wasn't great for service or food quality. Coast and sports bar where very good day and night. Show bar far too hot. Entertainment needs variety. Same people same acts. On the whole a great holiday.
Adam from Buckingham (30 July 2016)

Huge site, but quite old fashioned with caravans in need of some tlc. Lovely private beach but needs loo's close by as too far for kids and elderly to go. Nice pool but a lot smaller than the pictures show and it got very very busy with large queues waiting to go in at times. Fast food shops + restaurants on site very good, food was lovely but it could get very busy. Amusement arcades very popular and must be a great money earner as all families seeming to spend a fortune in them everyday. Very noisy at night with people leaving the entertainment and none of them giving a thought about anyone else staying on site. . no sign of security trying to keep the noise down. Lots of drunks arguing in nearby caravans well into the night. nice little shop on site and co-op, spar and a gregs in walking distance. Very good access and facilities for the disabled. Lots of pets on site and dog mess everywhere. We wouldn't go back.
Tracey from Derbys (30 July 2016)

Clean and quiet site given the size. Easy access to great beaches. Wifi patchy. Lovely sports bar and pool. Entertainment room very hot at times.
Stephen from Gloucester (30 July 2016)

I loved our holiday to trecco bay the site was spotless and the staff did a fantastic job of cleaning up the park, even when it was dark they were out litter picking! the food was excellent though nothing gluten free in the pizza or fish and chip shop, but that's not unusual in a holiday park. The beach is a short stroll away and is lovely and clean. We did have to queue for the swimming pool but it was worth waiting for and as they limit the amount of people in with a band system it wasn't over crowded and gave everyone a fair amount of time in the pool. I would highly recommend trecco bay to anyone :)
Deborah from Wellington Somerset (30 July 2016)

Great park for all the family. Would not hesitate to go back.
Customer 77 (30 July 2016)

Was disappointed that the kids inside swimming pool was not open and discussed that a lady was sat at the side of the pool with a hammer and screwdriver getting the grout out from between the tiles and it was all going into the swimming pool, was also very shocked that the price of the kids swimming floats in the swimming pool was over double of the price that you could buy them for in the onsite shop *i found this out after buying my kids theirs the food was very expensive for what it was and 4 out of our party was very sick so we had to cut our holiday short.
Bernice from West Sussex (29 July 2016)

Me and my family loved it and will be back next year
James from Edinburgh (29 July 2016)

First time caravaners and we really enjoyed it! the site was lovely and clean everywhere including the public areas. The staff were great and could answer any questions we had. We had a few issues in the van, nothing major, and they were dealt with so promtly we had only just got back to the van when maintance arrived!. lovely beach and lovely sea. Would we come again? to right!! next year hopefully.
Jenny from Crewe (25 July 2016)

A family friendly site, will most certainly be going back to wales,. beautiful beaches and scenery, staff brilliant and so much to do,
Shirley (25 July 2016)

Brilliant site, great caravan, beach is great, facilities were great, great holiday we will be back.
David from Newport (25 July 2016)

I've stayed in a lot of different holiday camps but this has to be the best yet. plenty to keep kids occupied. Lots to do any time of day. A few different eating places from chip shop to lovely restaurants. Good entertainment although we didn't use big club as my son's autistic and was a bit on loud side for him. otherwise still a few other bars on site to use. We were quite near the beach too and a lovely short walk along to portugal. With the usual touristy shops. Amusements and cafes. Good area for shopping in bigger towns like swansea and cardiff not too far by car. I would definitely recommend trecco bay and will definitely visit again.
Brenda from Midlothian, Scotland (25 July 2016)

We stayed here in 2013 and again in 2016. The bedford caravan was nice and big. The staff seem to be stretched now, less staff, there were queues in the bar and restaurant. the food is excellent. the evening entertainment is also good, however the family disco doesnt start until 11pm, and its too late for our children. not sure if we will come again, but it was a nice week away.
Graeme from Basingstoke (25 July 2016)

Found the security on the gate unhelpful
David from Coventry (18 July 2016)

Once moved from the ashes to the birches very happy. First impressions for caravan were disappointing especially seeing 9+ for reviews on here. maybe our expectations were too high and mentioned this to the reception ladies, we also had food left from previous visitors. the surrounding caravans were a mixed bunch too, made it look slightly rundown. However we were offered an upgrade with some outside space which made a massive difference (laleston style) I think, we would definitely recommend this and be worth paying the extra, it made our holiday most enjoyable. . the swimming pool was great fun and run efficiently by the team. shame the pirate ship was out of use though. Had a great night at the bingo £75 up! happy days. Plenty of food options take away and eat in, loved the fresh sub rolls made by the sports bar. Easy access to the beach. would visit again but only in the fancy caravan ;-)
Sharon from Gloucester, Uk (16 July 2016)

Had a lovely time but feel things on site are very expensive
Hayley from Hereford (16 July 2016)

A great time, caravan was super, staff very nice, beach was fun, golf super, drinks overpriced but overall very happy with our break.
Tom from High Wycombe (16 July 2016)

All the family enjoyed there holiday
Ray from Exeter (16 July 2016)

We booked the weekend at trecco! as we were attending the speedway gp in cardiff. There were quite a few speedway fans doing the same thing. I booked a basic van and was really surprised at how clean and smart it was with everything u needed. Adjacent to the beach it was a couple of hundred yards away. I didn't realise what a huge site it was but you didn't feel over crowded. Fish n chips n pizza both highly recommended and the shop was well stocked too. coney beach was a short stroll away with several places for coffee.
Sarah from Kingswinford (11 July 2016)

Lovely break but was disappointed that the caravan was short you can't see that in the brochure
Richard from Ipswich (11 July 2016)

We all enjoy every minute of the place and the evening time like bingo , entertainment was brilliant , will come back again
Wendy from Stonehouse (08 July 2016)

We have stayed at trecco bay on a number of occasions and always found it very welcoming. The facilities are ok, the only criticism would be the changing facilities of the swimming pool, not enough rooms at peak times and the lockers are not very big. That being said we always enjoy our stay. Going back as soon as possible.
Roy from Fareham (27 June 2016)

Brilliant caravan but view was of a wall of entertainment. Loads for kids to do. Would stay here again just would look at getting one that had a sea view .
Rebecca from Birmingham (27 June 2016)

Fantastic place. Food in restraunts a bit expensive. But facilities for the children and the entertainment were fantastic
Fiona from Keighley (18 June 2016)

Really enjoyed our holiday here. Even though it rained everyday!!. caravan was nice and well equipped. Had paid for a 6 birth but actually got a 8 birth! only 2 niggles. If I had paid for a 8 birth and had 8 people in the caravan, I wouldn't have been happy with the bathroom. It was tiny. No room to manoeuvre at all and no storage space - not even a cupboard where the mirror is!. other thing was I had ordered a cot and highchair. Lady at reception said its all there and ready for us........where?! rang reception 4 times and kept going to voice mail. Ended up going back to reception, waiting half hour in the queue. It was quickly resolved. The pool is amazing!! lovely temp and the ramp is shallow enough for my 9 month old to walk on (in his swim ring!) can't wait for the new feature to be completed. We will definitely be back and hopefully it's won't be torrential rain all week!!
Ellen from Dorset (17 June 2016)

Gas hob hadn't been cleaned when we arrived and when I used the oven that same night, there was a baking tray still greasy. . smelt cigarette smoke when we first entered the caravan and as no smokers we had to open all the windows to get rid of the smell. . was surprised it was so close to the beach which was convenient and the shops were handy.
Jenny from Newport (13 June 2016)

Excellence value for money, lovely clean resort.couldn't fault it.
Nicola from Monmouth (11 June 2016)

Had a lovely holiday. Caravan was clean and faultless. Nice and quiet where we were and easy access to the beach. Great beach. . entertainment staff were fantastic and worked really hard. . we had a couple of nights eating at one of the family restaurants which was reasonably priced, good food and a nice place to eat. . disappointed in the meeting of liz because it said in the timetable that you could eat with her and have a photo taken with her. We turned up and it was just an opportunity to take a photo with your own camera which we left in the caravan and she was only there for a couple of minutes. The information was a bit misleading on the timetable. . nothing to do outside the caravan park. . some caravan sites have clubs come in and teach football on the field which might be a thing to look into. My son went to one last year and loved it as they had training and then a match afterwards. It was very popular.
Nigel from Manchester (10 June 2016)

This was our first family holiday in nearly 20 years. My husband was a serving soldier and couldn't guarantee if he would be home. We were planning a big family holiday when he left after serving 29 years but due to my brain hemmorage we couldn't. We were looking on the internet and as my husband is from wales I suggested looking for a short break there. We found trecco bay and he loved the idea as he used to holiday with his parents there. It was wonderful, we couldn't of asked for better weather, everyone was so very friendly and best of all, my seizures etc calmed down. It was the first time I had known my husband had completely relaxed in goodness knows how many years as i'm now blind,.thank you so very very much for helping us become a tight family again..by the way...we have now decided to move back to wales and eventually come back to trecco bay.
Gail from Colne (10 June 2016)

Lovely caravan
Wendy (10 June 2016)

We thoroughly enjoyed our week and the weather was brilliant! however, the park was very busy as it was half term (which we expected) and we felt that there were not enough staff on duty to cope with the high demand. We had to queue for a long time to order food and drinks and had to wait 45 minutes for what turned out to be a mediocre meal. On the plus side, though, the staff at the fish and chip takeaway couldn't have been more friendly and helpful!!. . thanks for a lovely holiday!
Jane from Shipston On Stour, Warks (04 June 2016)

Very good holiday site, nice beach nearby, kids will enjoy too, shopping inside very expensive
Tissy from Birmingham (03 June 2016)

Parkdean holiday staff was very helpful when caravan was not to a good clean standered etc also will never go through hosasons as prices was more expensive then parkdean and information given to me about price will go up when less vans to rent holiday with in a day cost me 90 pounds more
Jacqueline from Kidderminster (03 June 2016)

Lovely caravan (rhondda). everything on site was easily accessible. We had some great days out both locally and a little further a field. Highly recommended and we will be back!
Customer 105 (03 June 2016)

Swimming pool felt a little tired although we do no that it is having work done at the moment.overall the whole place felt very friendly me and my children had everything we needed on site but my elderly parents felt it was a bit loud for them but we used to go on holiday in term time this is the first time we have been in the holidays .
Sarah from Wolverhampton (03 June 2016)

Absolutely fantastic week, children loved it and cried when we left, we shall certainly be back
Jackie from Norfolk (03 June 2016)

The place and location was great for families and couple will be returning but in different caravan
Tracy from Kidderminster (03 June 2016)

Fantastic weekend enjoyed by all the family. Would definitely recommend it.
Christopher from Ammanford (30 May 2016)

Brilliant holiday park would definitely go again
Lisa from Reading (30 May 2016)

Great break really dog friendly
Cindy from Oxford (30 May 2016)

When we booked it we said two together units we got there 11 ish in night to find one unit at one end another at the other end so we all slept in one unit then when we pull sheets under the pull out bet they where soiled then in morning they moved other unit closer then found pull out bed was broken got that sorted to find tv was not working
Ketan from Farnham (30 May 2016)

Superb caravan, fab coastal location with an easy beach walk to the local town. would definitely stay again.
Elizabeth from Manchester (30 May 2016)

Its my first caravan holiday and we all enjoyed thoroughly. Accommodation was better than we expected. Kitchen well equipped with all cutlery. The location is good with access to beach. The pool had huge waiting time and we queued for 30 min at least with further wait times on water slide. Outdoor splash area was good for the kids, but was using cold water! the food in the park seems more pricey, but we had our fridge stocked up with frozen stuff. All in all overall happy holiday to remember.
Sarath from Swindon (30 May 2016)

Always a decent holiday at trecco bay but was let down by the caravan.
Kenneth from Birmingham (23 May 2016)

Fantastic holiday..
Khursheed from Harrow (23 May 2016)

The area around trecco bay is great the scenery is lovely, lots walking to be had.dogs well catered for.
Bp (21 May 2016)

Great place for children lots to do really enjoyed !
Gareth from Swansea (16 May 2016)

Caravan basic but comfy location amazing the entertainment was great but the price of the food and drink just rip off
Athina from Tylorstown (16 May 2016)

All good
David from Newport South Wales (16 May 2016)

Great place for a family, early evening shows were a brilliant way to keep our very active 4yar led twin boys entertained.
Penny from Telford (13 May 2016)

Brilliant
Darren from Haverfordwest (09 May 2016)

Nice park. caravan was lovely. Queue for swimming pool lasted forever with no explanation as to entrance policy.our caravan was right next to entertainment venue so expect to hear the same standard songs booming through your accommodation until closing time if you're near.
Tim (02 May 2016)

This is a great location for a holiday with dogs and during the period they are not allowed on the beach - may - sept there are still miles of sand dunes etc for them to enjoy . the only downside is they are not allowed in any of the bars on site. I had a problem with no hot water in my caravan but within literally 10 minutes of reporting the problem this had been rectified . the park was quite quiet and it was spotless. The caravan was dated but it was spacious and clean although it worked out a little bit expensive as a single person in an 8 berth and paying for the dogs on top.
Belinda from Cheltenham (29 April 2016)

Lovely location, beds were made, can't fault the staff. wonderful holiday
Elaine from Mold (23 April 2016)

Overall a very nice place to stay with good facilities at a reasonable price, the accommodation was comfy & spacious, the pool & surroundings were really pleasant. We took our 2 year old & he really loved it, as there were so many things to do for a boy his age. Highly recommended :)
Matthew from Bideford (22 April 2016)

We will definately return to trecco, lots to do for kids although daytime kids club not that appealing.
Gemma from Bath, Somerset (15 April 2016)

Had a great caravan, really clean, only one problem which was fixed within 2 hours. great pool allowance system that meant it was very fair even if you have to queue for a bit.
Ian from Birmingham (09 April 2016)

Very enjoyable holiday- good caravan, clean and well kept. . site large enough to have the right facilities but small enough not to feel to commercial.
Paul from Lichfield (09 April 2016)

Swimming pool changing rooms were filthy. People coming in with outdoor shoes. You need dedicated staff cleaning them not the lifeguards. Arcade ticket machine kept breaking so queues to the kiosk were huge. Staff refused to change 2p's unspent back in to £1 and rubbish toys available in exchange for large amounts of tickets.
Sally from Tunbridge Wells (08 April 2016)

Although surroundings were very tired - the people couldnt have been friendlier. Park was very large but very clean and tidy and again all staff were welcoming and helpful. . would go back another year -
Lyn (08 April 2016)

The caravans are packed in like sardines, much too commercialised.
Tracy (08 April 2016)

Great place to stay. really good facilities. the only problem is that the swimming pool gets so busy we never actually got to use it!
Karen from Poole (08 April 2016)

Have been coming here for years. Great location on the beach. Lots of onsite facilities to keep kids entertained. Can walk into porthcawl, great sand dunes and rock pools. friendly, helpful staff. Only downside is as it's such a large site, you usually have to queue about 20 mins to get into the swimming pool which is not what kids want. Will still come back again.
Yvonne from Tamworth (04 April 2016)

Overall great place although the food venues were expensive.
Ian from Sussex (04 April 2016)

Caravan was dirty, cleaner when we left, smelt of cigarettes even though we asked for a non smoking
Robert from Worcestershire (28 March 2016)

Very good.been coming since my boy was 11 days old..he is 20 this year..fantastic holiday. Friendly staff..even won the easter bunny from reception. .can't wait to return..
Tracy from Worcester (28 March 2016)

Enjoyed the holiday very much apart from the noise at times..... the site seems a bit to big . I would have to recommend porthcawl for its position on wales south coast the holiday park does have everything you need so overall a great place..
Robert from Llangollen. (28 March 2016)

Lovely relaxing place. They have a nice pool area, very good entertainment for all ages. . good spacious caravan. We could have enjoyed it more if it wasn't raining. . will definitely comeback to trecco bay
Emelita (28 March 2016)

Great family holiday, plenty to do on and off site
Louise from Taunton (28 March 2016)

Although the park was very busy it never felt as though it was. Staff were very helpful and well organised, caravan was spotless as was the whole park. Had a great long easter weekend despite the best efforts of the weather. Will definitely be revisiting in the future.
James from Worcestershire (28 March 2016)

The caravan beds were awful, you could feel the springs. The sofa bed was not suitable for an animal to sleep on, let alone a child.
Joanne (25 March 2016)

I quite enjoyed myself, food is good at coast bar and chippy, and caravan clean! lots to do in the area too (: nice little park, better suited to families than couples!
Ebony from Southampton (18 March 2016)

Great staff clean accommodation good facility's and great location
Gareth from Risca (18 March 2016)

We went away for the weekend. Caravan was lovely and modern. Very clean. Shower was good too constant hot water. . staff were excellent and our caravan was ready 2 hours early. Only thing we would say is it would have been nice to have more adult facilities like steam room, sauna, jacuzzi and a saparate pool. . appart from that we had a lovely time.
Carol from Birmingham (14 March 2016)

Staff well informed about local takeaways
Jillian (14 March 2016)

Really enjoyed my stay with good friends good entertainment great facilities and a lovely caravan great value for money short break
Kevin from Kenilworth (07 March 2016)

Facilities and amenities all close by which suited me because I am disabled and have to be very choosy where I go to but this park is well laid out and very accessible for people with disabilities. A brilliant holiday and place, very friendly people I look forward to going again in the near future.
Adam (07 March 2016)

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Pool staff and lifeguards especially so. . everywhere was really clean and well kept. . caravan was exactly as described, clean, warm and comfortable. Thank you.
Tess from Leicestershire (07 March 2016)

Excellent park and accommodation, on arrival staff very helpful. . we arrived the first week of the park opening, so everything was fresh and new.. . if I had to complain the only thing would be too many high speed bumps lol
Val from Banbury (04 March 2016)
