Lovely lodge, with facilities to self cater. Good surroundings for walks and leisurely activities. Convienence shop on campus.
Bronya from Ascot (07 September 2018)

Thoroughly enjoyed this holuday. We had some beautiful walks around the golf course and woods.
Lisa from Seanscombe (07 September 2018)

The perfect getaway ! loved it !!!
Nashay (03 September 2018)

Very clean but there was a strong smell coming from sofas and upholstery. The smell subsided after I opened all the windows and aired to home. Internet was very slow and no mobile reception. Nice walk to local cricket club other than that have to drive everywhere. Overall nice relaxing quick break away from london.
Ilkay (03 September 2018)

My family had a great time at tilford woods and cannot wait to return next year. It was relaxing the lodge was immaculate and the staff were amazing!
Jenise from London (03 September 2018)

Excellent staff, so helpful and always have a smile.
Wendy (03 September 2018)

Lodges were great and the staff excellent. The only thing that could have improved it would have been some more central facilities for children, perhaps. Lots to do, however, in the surrounding area, and we would definitely return.
Laura (31 August 2018)

Very nice lodge
Thomas (31 August 2018)

Spent 4 nights here aug bank holiday . wow. A little gem. So relaxing. quality family time together chilling and excellent dog walks for first little doggy holiday. Absolutely loved it. Beautiful lodges. Fantastic helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Thank you.
Lara from Fareham (31 August 2018)

Very nice area. Lodge was quite dark, but comfortable. kitchen was very useable. I did feel that there should be a hand rail at the end of the bath to help getting in and out safely. also with nearly all lodges we have stayed in there never seems to be provision for you to hang wet coats or leave wet and dirty shoes anywhere e.g. An enclosed porch area.
Des (27 August 2018)

We love it here nice pub food is good too would recommend for couples
Claire (27 August 2018)

Clean, tidy and well equipped.
Ben from Edlesborough (27 August 2018)

We had a lovely, relaxed few days for our mini-moon. We stayed in a lodge with a hot tub and sauna and the place was beautiful throughout with everything we needed. Lovely addition was the use of bathrobes and slippers. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. We hired a barbecue for our stay and ordered meat from the local butchers which was delicious and tender. We also loved our daily visits from the sites ducks!! definately a place to visit.
Michelle from Dorset (24 August 2018)

Beautiful, peaceful location. Lodge was fantastic and well equipped. they had thought of every need. Thank you for my stay. May book for longer next time.
Michelle from Eastbourne (20 August 2018)

Lodges very nearby which caused concern for privacy. We also spotted a very long snake next to our lodge which caused concern around health and safety. I would not recommend this place.
Edgert (20 August 2018)

Fabulous location, beautiful accommodation, staff great. A fantastic weekend. Just very expensive!!! poor wifi.
Kate (20 August 2018)

Wonderful time with the ducks in the woods. We wouldnt let them use the hot tub though..
Roy from Haywards Heath (20 August 2018)

Lovely clean lodge and quiet surroundings . we used it as a base to visit london, chessington, thorpe park, hiring a barge. We even took a trip to bognor regis. Lots of local fishing and walks.
Amanda from Scarborough (17 August 2018)

Beautiful log cabins and surround area. . staff were very polite and helpful. . couldn’t fault it 10/10.
Paul from Swansea. South Wales (17 August 2018)

We had a wonderful holiday in lodge 1. The staff were very helpful
Karen from Wantage (17 August 2018)

A well equipped lodge - felt rather like we were in a ski resort given all the stained woodwork!
Elaine from Chesterfield (17 August 2018)

The lodge is on a small site (30 lodges), which made for a nice, relaxing break. There is a lovely pub at the end of the road, and it was ideally situated for us to visit the local theme parks. Very comfortable accommodation. Just what we needed for a week away.
Claire from Redditch (17 August 2018)

We had a great stay at tilford woods retreat. The lodge was equipped as expected, and the surroundings we're beautiful. The local pub and play ground were ideal. Our one issue was resolved with super helpful staff and to our complete satisfaction. We used the retreat as a base to explore the local area and it was perfect. We would return.
Rhianna (17 August 2018)

Fantastic place lovely location and friendly site
Colin from Northwich (13 August 2018)

Very enjoyable holiday, perfect getaway location with friendly staff. Small shop on site with bigger supermarket 15mins drive away. . only down side the beds were very hard and uncomfortable in our lodge. Also on last day the cleaners started to put cleaning materials outside the front door an hour before we had to leave which made us feel rushed to get out of the lodge.
Realta (13 August 2018)

We stayed in a cobbett contemporary premier lodge for 3 nights and would definitely go back. We received a friendly welcome and given our keys in a miniature metal suitcase as a keepsake which is a nice touch. Our parking was just opposite the lodge, we were immediately welcomed by the ducks getting out of our car, there really are loads of them! we bought some duck food from the reception which they literally eat out of your hand. Occasionally they would have a little waddle into our lodge!. the lodge itself was clean and modern, the kitchen very well equipped with a big fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven/grill with electric hob, microwave, kettle & toaster. Lots of utensils, crockery, cutlery and various types of glasses (including champagne flutes). there was washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, dishwasher tablets etc already provided as well as some tea, coffee and hot chocolate etc. There was also a pint of fresh milk in the fridge and a bottle of chilled water. All very nice touches to help you settle in quickly. . on the bed were several fresh towels (bath, hand & hot tub towels) as well as a couple of heavy thick bath robes and some slippers. The bedroom was more spacious than expected which made it seem a little odd that the bed was only a double rather than a king, the mattress and pillows were firmer than we're used to but seemed good quality so this comes down to personal preference. The bedroom had sliding patio doors leading to the decking at the rear of the lodge, this area is fenced off and private with a small table with 2 chairs and the all important hot tub. The hot tub was lovely, we spent quite a bit of time in there! it's also nice that the whole area is covered to keep the rain off. . the bathroom was clean and modern with a powerful shower and spa bath. The sauna was off the bathroom, this needs to be turned on at least 45 minutes before you intend to use it but does heat up nicely, there's something satisfying about pouring water over hot coals!. . the living space is open plan with the kitchen & dining table, again this was plenty spacious enough for the 2 of us. The tv had a good choice of channels and there is a wii console as well as a few board games (which we didn't use). the wifi had good signal through the whole lodge but the speed wasn't great, I managed to get around 1mbps however it was just about enough to stream netflix on low quality. Just is just enough :o). my phone on ee managed to get limited 4g, my wife's virgin media sim however had no signal at all (voice or data). this isn't a negative against the park, just information for other potential guests. . out front there's a small table and 2 chairs which were nice to sit and watch the world go by (or the ducks anyway). some of the lodges had bigger tables with more chairs so I have to assume these are bigger lodges with more bedrooms. . the duke of cambridge pub which is basically attached to the holiday park was lovely, it has a nice big beer garden and even an outside bar area to save you having to go into the pub to get drinks. We couldn't resist ordering some loaded nachos to have with our drinks after seeing someone else have them. If you have kids with you then it's worth mentioning that the beer garden also has a play area. . also worth mentioning that we ordered a takeaway one night using just eat, this was delivered directly to our lodge. . the area around the holiday park is very picturesque with pretty little bridges over streams and traditional red phone boxes etc, we didn't venture past the pub on foot but it's not easy to see that the walks must be lovely. . we definitely plan to return one day, was a lovely way to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary!
Will from Gillingham (13 August 2018)

Was a relaxing break. I myself did not see any staff however my partner did. She said they were helpful
David from Preston (13 August 2018)

The park was very quiet and the lodge was extremely clean, comfortable and well looked after. The staff were always helpful and friendly. This was our first visit but we would definitely go back. Easy access to london on the train and close enough to the coast for a day trip. Duke of cambridge pub near by was nice for a meal on the first night. Overall, we were very pleased by our whole experience.
Customer 28 from Chesterfield (13 August 2018)

The property is in a good location . needs a bit of maintenance work
Sheila from Rowledge (10 August 2018)

Amazing!
Craig (10 August 2018)

Fantastic lodges, will be back! staff so friendly.
Caroline (10 August 2018)

This is our 4th stay at tilford woods lodge retreat, and we have absolutely loved most stays here, the surroundings/ lodges , peace & tranquility, and have always highly rated our experience. We usually book the cobbett contemporary with hot tub as it normally works out slightly cheaper but on this occasion as it was our anniversary we thought we would spend the extra and treat ourselves to the traditional cobbett lodge with hot tub. . we were very disappointed with this one (no.31), firstly could not understand why it worked out dearer, as the only difference is the decor and furniture (which looked rather old fashioned) and although this being the dearer of the two 1 bedroom accommodations it did not feel as private or as clean as previous stays/lodges, in fact it felt very outdated and very overlooked from all directions with a parking area situated right by our front door/entrance. . unfortunately that spoiled it a bit for us as we could not sit outside on a hot summer's evening due to other lodges overlooking and cars coming and going/ other guests staring in, so eventually we decided to sit indoors with curtains drawn which made the lodge even darker , as it already lacked an enormous amount of light.(perhaps some roof lights in the lounge dining area would improve this?). we feel that the standard of the cobbett traditional was poor compared to the contemporary and overall tilford woods (lodges) are looking extremely tired and in need of updating, the furniture felt dirty, uncomfortable and there was a very unpleasant smell. . in the bedroom we noticed cob webs and dust everywhere, and the entire lodge smelt of pets. . our stay was no where near as good as previous years , over the last 5 years we have noticed that the hot tubs also need replacing with newer ones as none of the jets were working properly. The prices are very high compared to other parks with much newer lodges, modern furniture, comfortable beds + high spec jaccuzzi / hot tubs. . we will go back, but only if the lodges undergo a major makeover and the hot tubs are replaced and prices dropped to reflect the current state/age of the accommodations.
Rosie from West Sussex (06 August 2018)

Amazing relaxing i’m re booking x
Tamsin (06 August 2018)

We can't wait to come back!!
Maria (06 August 2018)

I was looking for a quiet break away and it was just that. very tranquil.
Charlene from Birmingham (03 August 2018)

A lovely quiet retreat with excellent staff
Lee from Bromley (30 July 2018)

A fantastic lodge fantastic condition if you want a nice quiet get away
Derek from Glasgow (30 July 2018)

The only reason I have given 8 for value is that I and my wife don't usually have to deal with school holiday prices! our family thought it very good and we may well visit you again; perhaps at a less expensive time!. . the friendly ducks and moorhens were an added bonus!
John from Tadworth (27 July 2018)

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful week at the tilford woods lodge retreat. Great location and a fantastic lodge, with everything we needed.
Fiona from Birmingham (27 July 2018)

One of the best holiday parks we've stayed at. Plenty of space, clean, well managed and very friendly staff.
Terri from Bristol (27 July 2018)

Wanted a peaceful retreat, without the children and stresses of everyday life. And this didn’t disappoint. Amazing will definitely go back
Kate from Durrington (15 July 2018)

Lovely break. The lodge itself was clean and tidy, with the fresh milk/water a nice little touch for when we arrived. . it was nice to have bathrobes/slippers included. The hot tub was a lovely covered private area. We visited in the summer heatwave and the fan was needed and very much appreciated - there are few windows in the lodge and just the sliding doors from the bedroom to the hot tub so unable to keep open at night. Duke of cambridge pub (on the doorstep) was nice for food and drinks.
Fay (09 July 2018)

Fantastic holiday destination although you do need a car for exploring and getting to the shops. Safe friendly environment and great pub at end of the lane. Could be better signposted off the main road and shame there is no footpath on the main road to the village green. Lodges are clean with everything you need. Extremely hot weather we had so with the windows opened you do attract bugs and I got bitten by mosquitos causing multiple bites which I had a reaction too but no one else got bitten. Definitely take bug repellent with you.
Lisa from Hertford (09 July 2018)

This is about the 12th time of staying at tilford woods and always enjoy the stay no matter which lodge we stay in . staff always helpful and friendly, and the lodges well equipped and clean
Steven from Sheffield (09 July 2018)

Tilford woods never disappoints! lovely lodge in quiet surroundings and the staff are so helpful.
Andrea from Norfolk (09 July 2018)

We had an amazing couple of nights just what the dr ordered. Was impressed by everything in the lodge, a bit difficult to find what was included before we went so we ended up taking far too much stuff with us. Think our stay was helped by the beautiful weather, overall very happy and will definitely return again if the price is right
Dionne from Mitcham (08 July 2018)

Very helpful staff, quiet relaxing location
Sarah from Maidstone (06 July 2018)

We booked a cabin for a short break. There were 4 in our party and 1 small dog. On arrival the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Edward from London (06 July 2018)

Wonderful relaxing break. Lodge had everything you needed. The hot tub was definitely worth having. Shop sells your basics. . pub virtually on site was added bonus. . will definitely go again.
Kerri from Kent (06 July 2018)

I had an amazing and relaxing week away, couldn't ask for anything more.
Maxine from Margate (29 June 2018)

A great, pet friendly base, for taking our dog to supervet. . it depends what you are looking for. There's not a lot on site, apart from relaxation. . decent pub nearby which is dog friendly and with a great beer garden. . some beautiful walks nearby.
Darren from Bolton (29 June 2018)

From the moment we arrived we were blown away with this amazing place. Check-in was very smooth, then the lodge was superb. Very thoughtful touches such as a pint of milk and a bottle of water waiting in the fridge, a starter pack of tea bags and biscuits, and a little bundle of cleaning items including a mini washing up liquid, scourer, dish cloth etc. A quality resort in a peaceful setting.
Helena from Spalding (18 June 2018)

Tracey from Peacehaven (01 June 2018)

Absolutely beautiful setting. . lodge was really like home from home. Everything you could possibly need.
Stephanie from Hemel Hempstead (01 June 2018)

We stayed here for 4 nights in may as a last minute booking. The site is small and spotlessly clean with lovely walks around about it. The lodge itself was lovely and very clean. We couldn’t fault the attention to detail within the lodge we enemies had washing up liquid . there’s a small shop on site which offered a large range of things. The staff were lovely and very friendly and we would defiantly return again.
Denise from Manchester (01 June 2018)

The lodge was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.the site was very clean and quiet.hank. Lay common with its bridle ways and golf course is great for walking with or without a dog farnham is a nice town with lots of independent shops.altogether a very pleasant four days

Very nice location - fantastic and helpful staff
Adrian (21 May 2018)

Relaxed weekend away with the missus. Lovely little set up. Not really set up for kids so it was good we had a weekend off.
Customer 68 from Buckinghamshire (21 May 2018)

The retreat was excellent and you could not ask for more especially from the staff they were most helpful. maybe, and only maybe the bath towels could have been a little bit smaller going round you twice which led to a lot of laughter at first.so relax
Ron from Watford (18 May 2018)

The interior of our lodge (no. 12) was clean & tidy and well equipped , however the very large vacuum cleaner stored in the wardrobe of the second bedroom took up about 50 per cent of the space, suggest a more compact cleaner would be better. Also the exterior of the lodge needs some attention, peeling paint and rotten wood on the verandah.
Alan from North Lincolnshire (18 May 2018)

Absolutely love this place. So relaxing
Bev from Swindon (18 May 2018)

Beautiful short break of 4 nights, lovely surroundings, quiet, staff lovely and friendly too. Strut lodge was great everything we needed and more lovely touch by having a bottle of sparking wine, tea coffee and milk there on arrival. I was going to take my dog with us but last minute put her in kennels but the lodge and park would have been perfect for her too. The only slight problem I had was with the bath/shower felt I needed a hand rail to get out, but it not effect our stay there. ( I have slight mobility problems. ) everything really great cold not of asked for a better stay.
Paula from Wareham Dorset (18 May 2018)

Absolute ridiculous management and complete lack of communication between our booking agent and themselves.

Really like this lodge. very quiet and out of the way. We had a great weekend ,such a lovely well equipped lodge, and lovely surroundings. Great walks from the lodge. We will definitely be returning .
Debbie from Devon (19 February 2018)

Lovely quiet place to stay very private and peaceful
Melanie from Bristol (19 February 2018)

We have stayed here a few times, we’ll equipped lodges this time a little more tired. Lovely in the summer for walks to frensham ponds and beautiful countryside around- not as good in the february rain but we always enjoy our times at tilford. Staff always helpful.
Sarah from Worcester Park (16 February 2018)

Lovely lodge. beautiful surroundings easy walk to lovely pub. hot tub and sauna a nice treat. overall would definitely return.
Thomas from Westgate (16 February 2018)

Had a great stay at tilford woods would definitely recommend lovely lodge fab facilities and welcoming helpfull staff would definitely visit again.
Laura from Dorset (16 February 2018)

Stayed in corbett contemporary premier with a ensuite sauna and hot tub. Romantic week away. Great location for isolation and relaxation. Plenty of national trust sites around. We went to the devils punch bowl and frensham little pond. Nice for a stroll and then back to the hot tub and sauna to warm up.
Abigail from London (16 February 2018)

The lodge was fantastic. Lovely quiet location for a relaxing break.
Louise from Isle Of Wight (12 February 2018)

Nice and cosy getaway in the woods! enjoyed our short break with our little one!
Saravana (12 February 2018)

Our 2nd winter stay was as good as the first. good value for money because of the time of year. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.
Stewart (09 February 2018)

Fabulous as always!!!
Barbara from Alton (09 February 2018)

An amazing week away! great value for money, was such a lovely warm clean lodge that had everything we could hope for, the grounds were well kept and the pub just of site was lovely, plenty to do within a 10 minute radius, only downside nearest supermarket was a 15 minute drive, but shop on site had everything needed really!
Amy from Maidstone (09 February 2018)

I stayed in the cobbett traditional premier lodge and it was stunning, very cosy and just what I needed for a relaxing time away
Sophie from Tadley (09 February 2018)

As always when we come to tilford we know we can relax. lodge is always clean, warm. staff really pleasant.
Paul from Kent (09 February 2018)

Only issue I have is that there are too many lodges close together. Always enjoy our stay here this is our 3rd visit.
Zelah (05 February 2018)

Great location, lovely lodge
Roy (05 February 2018)

Can be expensive in school holiday season, but the cabins are very comfortable and well equipped and the location is perfect. Ideal for dogs as there are so many good walks around the area.
George from Broadstairs (29 January 2018)

Perfect romantic getaway. Hot tub was great and lovely walks from lodge
Kate (29 January 2018)

Really enjoyed our stay here. We would definately recommend staying here.
Karen from Farnham (26 January 2018)

Gorgeous little cabins, very peaceful location.
Nicola from Switzerland (26 January 2018)

All good, peaceful, pub with food and micro brewery next door only 5 minutes walk away and a small lake with ducks etc, a good winter break.
Graham from Denby Dale, Huddersfield. (22 January 2018)

It was a lovely place but you are closer together than the pictures show. And there isn’t enough plug sockets.
Caron from Huddersfield (22 January 2018)

Lovely place to stay. Very clean. Sauna and hot tub were great. Even though it was raining because there was a roof over the hot tub we could still use it. Perfect for a romantic weekend away.
Wendy (22 January 2018)

Lodge was small, sofas not in keeping with the style of lodge and not comfortable. Lodge was very tired needed a refurb. mirror in bedroom in no position to sit at dressing table and look in!!?. asked to extend a night and was given a ridiculous price compared to the holiday.
Edwina from Hastings East Sussex (20 January 2018)

I loved this holiday, the lodge was immaculate, the hot tub was amazing, the area was quiet and tranquil and staff where very welcoming.i would defiantly return!
Shaunna from Liverpool (19 January 2018)

We were really impressed with the lodges and the staff at tilford woods. We enjoyed our short break and have already booked to visit again with friends in the summer. . the lodge was clean, well equipped and very spacious and comfortable.
Corrine from West Sussex (15 January 2018)

Excellent peaceful resting place. Really, really helpful and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Iain from Newcatle (12 January 2018)

Had a lovely relaxed break. Staff were very good and very informative on our arrival. Accommodation fantastic very comfortable and welcome pack was very nice and the accommodation was also very clean.
Susan from Middlesex (12 January 2018)

Absolutely loved it, it was a proper home from home, although I preferred the lodge. Should be able to get this subscribed from your doctor. Lodge was lovely and clean. The furniture and fittings were good quality, everything you’d need for a hassle free break, including a pint of milk in the fridge for that brew on arrival.
Kevin from Dover (12 January 2018)

Relaxing environment, excellent standard of furnishings and equipment in the lodge. Perfect for family break.
Amy (08 January 2018)

Absolutely fantastic park cabins are quite close together but doesn't affect the peacefulness of the area. Great little pub only minute walk lovely food too! one down side is jacuzzi area no brush, a lot of leafs on floor outside so makes getting in and out more tricky also outside light in jacuzzi area very dim could do with some fairy lights to really make it something else! definitely recommended
Laura (08 January 2018)

Lovely peaceful and warm lodge in a very pretty area. everything you could need provided and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.
Judith from Cornwall (08 January 2018)

Fourth visit to tilford woods
Kathryn from Geelong, Australia (06 January 2018)

Great break over new year. This was about our 4th trip. We love it here. Lodges are looking a little worn...need a bit of tlc but we still love it and will return.
Lisa from Salisbury (03 January 2018)

Lovely, peaceful break. Wonderful lodge with private hot tub. I would highly recommend it.
Carla from Bedfordshire (30 December 2017)

Overall a great break, however as a family we found that it lacked privacy. The lodges are very close together. Whilst sitting in the living room we constantly had people walking past and looking in whilst walking their dogs. . lovely location but the lack of privacy was an issue for us.
Sarah (30 December 2017)

Stayed over the christmas period whilst visiting relatives. lovely site in a super location. staff sorted the small problem we had on arrival very quickly and efficiently. . in short, wonderful site with wonderful staff - we had a lovely break and will definitely be returning soon - thank you!
Alison from Westhoughton (30 December 2017)
