Very nice clean and tidy site and the caravan was well equipped with everything you’d ever need. The only downside is the nearby roads to the site are tight and a wee bit narrow, so leave the driving to someone experienced
William from Glasgow (21 April 2018)

Quiet site. Well kept. Good standard of accommodation. Lovely pub on site. Beautiful sunsets.
Diane from Manchester (16 April 2018)

Had a lovely couple of days, staff in puddleduck cafe and bar and office staff were all very friendly and helpful! hot tub was fantastic very relaxing and probably made the break what it was!
Catriona from Auchterarder (11 April 2018)

Lovely caravan park. Staff very helpful. Caravan spotless.
Beverley from Halifax (09 April 2018)

The whole park was well maintained- there was not a scrap of litter anywhere! all staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely visit again!
Carolyn from Durham (05 April 2018)

Stayed here beginning of april, lovely lodge, hot tub was amazing!!. friendly helpful staff, will definitely be back.
Gillian from Ayrshire (04 April 2018)

Sunset daisy lodge. Excellent, very very clean, linen pristine, great everything anybody could need. Staff our wonderful!!. helpful , friendly. Every single person goes an extra mile to make your stay memorable & happy. The staff of the puddle duck are second to none. My grandaughter had a wonderful time, meeting new friends & playing. A huge thank you to everybody and a special mention to aaron, adele & katie. Hope to see you all again soon.
Jackie from Salford (02 April 2018)

Great site. Great caravan. Regulars and residents a bit territorial in the puddled duck when it came to seating and bingo /raffles etc
Nicola from Manchester (02 April 2018)

Myself, my husband, my 17 year old son and 13 year old daughter along with our little dog had a lovely 3 day break away for my 40th birthday at sunset holiday village. It was wonderful in the hot tub and the site itself was very peaceful and everyone we spoke to were friendly and polite. The staff in the puddled duck restaurant/bar were also very friendly and helpful. We look forward to visiting again.
Rosie from Mold North Wales (30 March 2018)

Great place to stay, fabulous accommodation. The play park could be a bit better for kids, clubhouse very nice & staff more than helpful. Only downfall was that the carpet at our accommodation had been cleaned prior to our stay and remained very wet even until our departure 3 days later.
Rebecca from Barrow In Furness (26 March 2018)

Holiday was great but hot tub didn't have easy access to the lodge it would be better if there was steps from patio doors down to the hot tub. Transport wasn't great but holiday was great
Edward from Dumfriesshire (19 March 2018)

Caravan was fantastic hot tub was fab and there’s everything you need in the caravan! the club was good also and staff are really helpful! I would defo stay here again
Kayleigh from Sunset Holiday Village (12 March 2018)

Good location,friendly and efficient staff
Anthony from Oldham (12 March 2018)

Lovely caravan. Clean on arrival with plenty fresh towels and bedding made up. Could do with a better soft play area and other things for children to play with but thats getting to nitty gritty. other than that a lovely place to stay for a weekend.
Georgina from Chorley (26 February 2018)

Staff at the puddled duck were brilliant and service was 10 out 10.
Bianca (19 February 2018)

This was a great little retreat away from the hustle and bustle of blackpool centre.nice accomadation and near too many places to explore!!!
Christopher (09 February 2018)

The caravan was spotless, staff were friendly and extremely helpful. . the only thing I can mark them down on was the childrens indoor play area was disappointing and could do with an update.
Claire from Halifax (06 January 2018)

Could of done with a shop on site
Deborah (30 December 2017)

What a great find the staff were fantastic the caravan was perfect and the site it's self was really really nice this was a nice little gem of a site we found.
Michelle from Cenarth (11 December 2017)

Nice caravan bed linen and towels included which was bonus . shame all caravans are dog friendly , not everyone likes dogs and although caravan was spotless there was a ‘dog ‘ smell to seating and cushions .
Anne from West Lothian (27 November 2017)

My only real bug bear was that when checking in you had to give bank details. Like the long number on your card and the security code. They promised to destroy it afterwards but really did make me wary about firstly my bank details been available to members of staff (i like to think everyone is honest but it's not always the case) and secondly I actually took photos of the whole lodge before we left because I felt if they took those details they could maybe be the kind of company that will charge you for any minor fault in the lodge. Fortunately nothing bad seems to have happened but still, it was on my mind the whole time we were there. I feel it's in a good location if you fancy a trip to blackpool. The site is extremely quiet and relaxing. Didnt try the food or anything. We went for a drink in the bar and was reasonably priced.
Samantha from Scunthorpe (19 November 2017)

We had a lovely 4 days break. The lodge was well equiped and comfortable x
Kelly from Wolverhampton (14 November 2017)

We were a large group who were really well catered for. We had a great time
Frances (13 November 2017)

Caravan spotless. Staff in the puddle duck very friendly & helpful. Would stay at this park again. Very well placed for getting to blackpool & fleetwood.
Linda from Congleton (30 October 2017)

This place was perfect. The caravan was amazing, so comfortable, clean and luxurious. The park itself is so clean & quiet.
Daniel from Mansfield (27 October 2017)

This is a nice quiet park. The caravan was ok but with the three bedrooms it made it a bit cramped. . we didn't have a very good start though, as after getting into the caravan as we found the cleaner hadn't cleaned the toilet. We reported it and it was sorted but still a bit disappointing, not what you want when arriving at your accommodation.
Jacqueline from Cumbria (27 October 2017)

Excellent location, site was lovely and clean. Loved the lodge and hot tub. Only downside was the lack of entertainment for children (especially in the club house). shame site didn’t have a shop but overall a great holiday
Lee (27 October 2017)

Great location and site
Nicola from Wakefield (27 October 2017)

Site was very isolated and quiet just what I wanted. Cabin even better than I expected. Third bedroom only suitable for small children. Site could do with small shop which sold basics like bread and milk. Loved having the ducks as visitors in the morning. Overall a fantastic relaxing holiday, my children will have to have a hottub evertime now !
Frances from Kilmarnock Ayrshire (20 October 2017)

Fabulous short break. Beautiful lodge, hot tub wonderful. Attentive, friendly staff at the puddled duck! kids loved the small play area and xboxes! definitely be back.
Emma from Ancrum (12 October 2017)

We as a family had a great time on our visit felt very much at home and the hot tub was amazing a lot of good memories for us all.
Ann from Kirriemuir Angus (09 October 2017)

Absolutely great kids did not want to come home ..everyone so friendly and staff brilliant
Leesa from Bolton (09 October 2017)

Really good
James from Leigh (06 October 2017)

Incredible place can't wait to book again
Sally from Warrington (02 October 2017)

Lovely time nice quiet park
Linda (02 October 2017)

Very enjoyable holiday
David from Banchory Aberdeenshire (29 September 2017)

Had a great weekend caravan was lovely. The staff at the puddled duck are amazing and so helpful. I will be booking again.
Karen from Manchester (25 September 2017)

There was nothing wrong with the site, it was very clean and well maintained. What we didn't realise was that it is a site where people seem to live, so did not have the feel of a holiday home site.
Debra from Burton On Trent (24 September 2017)

Relaxed week on this lovely site, very dog friendly. Good location for touring the blackpool area but not too close to the ‘madness’. . might have been nice to have a wee shop on site for newspapers but didn’t spoil our holiday.
June from Galashiels (15 September 2017)

Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious, holiday home clean and spotless and very welcoming. However big downfall no entertainment for younger ones and play area inside for toddlers not very good.
Melanie (04 September 2017)

Superb lodge except for a couple of things.one shower hose was leaking and no plug in the. Kitchen sink.both of these reported to maintenance man who said they would be fixed but. They weren't.
Alexander (04 September 2017)

Beautiful location, lovely holiday home, clean and friendly, helpful staff. Family with two young children, perfect.
Andrew from Wolverhampton (01 September 2017)

Very overpriced, hot tub could have been a little cleaner, lodge not ready on arrival at 4pm. Was told over phone when booking there was a pool and there wasn't. dog friendly lodge had no gate on decking so had to block with chairs.
Lisa from Barrow-In-Furness (01 September 2017)

Great little place for a quiet holiday and base around the area. caravan was really nice and clean, modern and new with good facilities. . restaurant/pub was very nice, good food and selection of drinks and staff were really friendly and great with the kids on site. really good interaction with them. . small park on site was good and occupied the kids for 30 mins - would recommend this for a quieter chilled holiday and base and will be returning.
Paul from Manchester (28 August 2017)

The lodge was great, nice and spacious and the holiday park was idea, not to big and not to spall. We only used the hot tub twice, nice and warm even later in the evening and it was serviced every day. The puddled duck was ok but did not seem to be very busy most evenings except for 'bingo night'.
Ian from Stockport (26 August 2017)

Loved the park !. think the decking could of done with a jet wash and a coat of varnish as lots of duck pooh. Lovely lodge and hot tub was amazing !!. perhaps the children's outdoor park could do with a face lift and a few more things as a lot of space . would go again for sure
Charlotte from Rossendale (21 August 2017)

Lovely place and settings. Could have easily stayed a second week.
David (19 August 2017)

Staff where very helpful and super friendly. If you do some holiday planning there is plenty to do in this area, lancaster castle, blackpool pleasure beach, lancashire show etc. Shame the pool was out of action but then i'm not sure if would have found the time to use it.
Peter from Wirral (18 August 2017)

Holiday park was lovely, well cared for. Staff very polite and helpful nothing to much bother. accommodation was expensive although the hot tub was a bonus.
Linda from Leven (12 August 2017)

Lovely clean accommodation. Friendly staff and a nice holiday park.
James from Sunderland (11 August 2017)

Good location. Well maintained site and comfortable accommodation.
Pauline from Newton Le Willows (11 August 2017)

Wonderful experience , the site was beautifully presented and well maintained. The caravan was immaculate and very clean . nothing to much for the site staff , very pleasant and helpful
Diane from West Midlands (04 August 2017)

Great weekend at sunset holiday village. The cabin & hot tub were superb!!! a great relaxing location with all the fun of blackpool a short distance away. Will definitely go again :)
Janine (24 July 2017)

It was a great experience. However time went to quickly.
Amar from Leeds (24 July 2017)

The very best caravan site we have been to looking forward to going back
Gordon (20 July 2017)

The lodge itself was lovely. absolutely immaculate throughout, my daughters loved everything about it, as did us grown ups!!. the only downside was a lack of park, although there was a soft play in the pub, an outdoor park would have been lovely!!
Alison from County Durham (14 July 2017)

We loved our stay here, would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet break away. We would have booked again for next year straight away, but we couldn't believe how much the price had increased overall a brilliant and beautiful location
Mark from Hull (03 July 2017)

An amazing week with my fiance & 2 children, aged 4 & 1. We spent our days visiting the attractions in blackpool & used this as our base as it was only 20 mins away. It was fantastic value for money, the hot tub was maintained daily & the gas bbq provided was an added bonus. Would definitely stay again & recommend to others
Emma from Newcastle (30 June 2017)

Beautiful lodge and park, hot tub was amazing with some privacy. Only downside was that there was no shops on site, and the nearest one was a spar in hambleton. Could get everything you needed there but it's nice to have the option of other shops as well. Pub on site was fairly average, however other pubs were quite a drive away. Overall had a great time, just wish there had been more locally. Would go back.
Chloe from Durham (26 June 2017)

Had a lovely stay here - everything we could have wanted. We all loved the hot tub
Brenda (26 June 2017)

A nice quiet park in a rural location. park is within easy reach of blackpool and only approx 1 hour away from the lake district. the park is well kept with an on site pub which also offers food.
Peter from Godalming (12 June 2017)

Lovely clean site x
Wendy from Stamford (05 June 2017)

Very good very clean nice staff
Yvonne (05 June 2017)

Lovely stay, relaxing, peaceful and fun. . so tranquil around the park, even with children around the whole park had a calmness about it, that was lovely. The caravan was immaculate, couldn't of asked for more.
Nicola from St. Helens (29 May 2017)

Lovely setting and fantastic accommodation but felt lost down by the facilities on site as we had booked when there had been a swimming pool available to guests . having 2 young children this would have been ideal . little did we know it had been closed down before we got there. It also advertised children's entertainment, there was a small soft play area but nothing more that was suitable for a 5 year old and a toddler . fab for adults but not so great for children .
Gary from Barrowford, Lancashire (29 May 2017)

Very nice place to stay . lovely accommodation hot tub brill. Alchol at very reasonable prices. . food was disappointing had a pizza which was poor. Sunday lunch was cold ..!. could do with a shop on site . overall very good .
Joe from Cumbria (29 May 2017)

We had a lovely few days at sunset park. We haven't had a caravan holiday for many years but we really enjoyed it. The caravan was practically new and very well maintained and i'd give top marks for cleanliness. All bedding and towels were supplied and of hotel quality. It's a lovely park and there are some nice pubs close by to eat also a great "chippy" called sylvia's (i think). a great base for exploring the lakes, trough of bowland and all surrounding areas. Thoroughly recommend it.
Brian from Widnes (20 May 2017)

Fantastic break, this is a residential site but the mix of a small number of lets fits really well. The site is immaculate as is the clubhouse. Food and drink very reasonably priced, staff excellent. Definitely stay again.
Leanne from Hartlepool (21 April 2017)

Only booked due to swimming pool, but hasn't been open for months, so poor from hoseasons. Nothing much to do for kids. Quiet site, and caravans clean, but wouldn't say they were platinum.
Wayne from Durham (17 April 2017)

Lovely relaxing park, hot tub great.
Maggie (17 April 2017)

A really nice place to stay, the staff are friendly. We took are dog and he enjoyed it too. I will be back and I would recommend to family and friends.
Lesley from Ashton Under Lyne (10 April 2017)

You can here children running up and down in other caravans from inside your own caravan. It's residential as well and people start there cars at 0430 and wake you up
Philip from Manchester (07 April 2017)

Had a great weekend staying here with family for mother's day. lodge was amazing, especially the hot tub. . looking forward to visiting again.
Susan from Liverpool (27 March 2017)

Loved this park. Great for the kids and beautiful location. the staff really were so very helpful. lovely meal in the bar/restaurant.
Sharon from Scottish Borders (27 March 2017)

Staff were outstanding, they could not have been more accommodating. It's a shame there is not a small shop or convenience store on site or closer to the holiday park, however I would still recommend the lodge and sunset holiday village.
Gayle from Spennymoor (22 March 2017)

Small site with only a handful of holiday let accommodation. We were made to feel very welcome by both staff and home owners. We really enjoyed the new bar area where pets are allowed and my 9 year old son thought the xbox room was great.
Melanie (20 March 2017)

Had a lovely 3 days stay hear people are friendly and staff are realy hellpfull will defonatly be coming back for holiday hear again
Cassandra from Bishop Auckland (18 March 2017)

We had a lovely stay at the holiday village. Each bedroom had a t, plenty of towels and beautiful set up. Would definitely recommend this place.
Tanzeel from Leeds (13 March 2017)

Fantastic location, great facilities and very well looked after. Lodge was clean and has lots of the little things you always forget
Michelle from Manchester (13 March 2017)

The picture show the lodge but it was caravan home it was good for short break
Mohammad from Jarrow (10 March 2017)

Great place to stay. Close to blackpool but still felt out the way
Danielle from Newcastle Upon Tyne (06 March 2017)

We had a lovely weekend break at this lovely well maintained site. the staff are all very friendly and helpful which made the stay more enjoyable. will definitely look at returning again.
David from Manchester (06 March 2017)

We really enjoyed our stay at sunset holiday village. Will definitely be returning. Only criticism is that you get an option for netflix on the tv but because there is no wifi you cant use and the dvd player is blueray. But other than that was in a great location with plenty to do
Chloe-Louise from Salford (06 March 2017)

Lovely family holiday. Lodge was brilliant, comfortable and spacious, only downside was our hot tub didn't have steps from the decking going down to it, so we had to walk around the side a long way around to reach it. Wanted to book again to come back but the price was too expensive for us.
Lucy from Bolton (06 March 2017)

We loved it that much that we've booked to go back again in the next half term! caravan was lovely very clean, staff were really nice and helpful. Just a shame there isn't a little shop on the site for a few essentials.
Nicola (24 February 2017)

Great lodge-clean & tidy inside and out with great facilities. Helpful staff and a lovely holiday park within driving distance for day trips to the lakes, lancaster & blackpool.
Paul from Wigan (24 February 2017)

Well kept site and lovely caravan, staff extremely friendly and helpful. However pool not in operation which was a let down, and needed a little shop for essentials on site
Samantha from Bolton (24 February 2017)

We spent a wonderful short break here at sunset park and wouldn't hesitate in recommending others to do so . this park caters for all the family and is central to all the amenities and resorts you require for a family holiday. . the staff on park are welcoming and accommodating at all times. . the food and drink prices in the puddle duck pub on sight are equal to hostelries locally, so you dont feel your being over charged . the accommodation was warm , clean, comfortable, and inviting . on the whole a thoroughly enjoyable break
Melanie from Colne Lancashire (17 February 2017)

Brilliant site nice and quiet just what we needed
David from Newcastle (17 February 2017)

Great site..very good standard of accommodation
Bev (17 February 2017)

Well really enjoyed our weekend away .', some of the caravan owners were very friendly . staff fab , the caravan was lovely but had had a dog in before as we had to sweep dog hairs off the carpet but apart from that the place was spotless ..in the club lots to do for the kids xboxes, play gym, drinks were very reasonable all in all we really enjoyed our stay
Linda from Leeds (13 February 2017)

A gate to the hot tub from the veranda would be nice. especially in winter, it's a long way to walk round.
Sarah from Cirencester (11 February 2017)

The only issue we had was your not allowed to enter your lodge till 4pm. Your practicly loosing a full day. Next door to us the staff cleaned there lodge ready for the next people and it took them less than an hour so why the checking in time is so late is beyond me.
Jamie from Rotherham (08 February 2017)

Me and my partner stayed at sunset holiday village for 3 nights , the park is kept very clean , there is a fantastic pub on site with great staff ,, the park is only a short 15 min drive from blackpool main strip so very well located
Andrew from County Durham (06 February 2017)

Not a real log cabin feel just a lodge caravan heating didn't work it was a pet lodge and it smelt like a pet lodge ?? lack of equipment hot tub was arkward to get to never topped up and was cold pitch was overlooked will not return ???? overpriced
Janine from Rotherham (30 January 2017)

Brilliant and very clean lodge. Ideal for families will be visiting again this year.
Dean (30 January 2017)

Gorgeous accommodation friendly staff lovely pub/club and playroom
Patricia from Stockport (30 January 2017)

Lovely cabin nice hot tub very clean and comfortable, the sports bar is great but a little noisy at weekends
Robert (30 January 2017)

Really enjoyed the break. Nice club. Lovely new caravan.
Raymond from Salford (27 January 2017)

Great base to explore area including blackpool and only 1 hour drive to the lake district so best of both worlds
Sharon from Witham (19 September 2016)

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday the staff could not help enough, I would say maybe a slightly better park for the kiddies as even guests tend to bring children and they could play safely within the park, we wouldn't hesitate though to return.
Jayne from Chesterfield (16 September 2016)

Had a great four days in a new lodge everything was excellent, it was clean and tidy all the towels and bedding where sparkling white and the kitchen and shower room had everything you could ask for in your own home. only thing missing was a door mat to wipe your feet when entering. would definitely stay there again.
Edward from Stalybridge, Cheshire (16 September 2016)

Nice lodge, unfortunately there was a slight smell of dog
Theresa (12 September 2016)

We stayed here over august bank holiday and it's exactly what we wanted. . quiet location but with enough amenities to keep our 2 young children occupied. Lodge was immaculate and excellent size. staff very friendly and helpful. . short drive to blackpool.
Rebekah from Staffordshire (29 August 2016)

The best park ever. Will definitely come back again. Keep up the good standards
Gamu from Manchester (26 August 2016)

The site feels very much like a residential site with some holiday homes.
Roddy from Troon (05 August 2016)

Excellent
Allan (01 August 2016)

Loved the lodge. The position of the hot tub could of been better, another gate maybe rather than walking round the outside.
Laura from Rosyth (29 July 2016)

Very friendly and helpful staff
Peter from Kilmarnock (25 July 2016)

Sunset park was in a nice peaceful location. Not ideal for keen walkers as park has no big areas to walk and you are onto busy road or country road with no pathways out with park. Small club and very small pool were well maintained but very little else on site for us. Tennis courts would be good and/or gym. Lodge was excellent but still feel overall it was overpriced. It's more of a residential site than a holiday park. We had a pleasant stay but no desire to return. we spent most time in nearby blackpool which is also a one off experience!
Gillian from Aberdeen (18 July 2016)

Had a great holiday, everyone was really helpful and friendly. The lodge was perfect for our needs.
William from Paisley (16 July 2016)

On arrival at 4.45pm office was closed barman very nice but gave keys to wrong caravan he then escorted us to correct caravan. I thought there would have been more entertainment but was told really only at weekends. As we were out all day in blackpool and tired in the evenings it was ok for us.it looked to be more residential. The park was very clean and tidy.
Janice from Angus (15 July 2016)

Sunset park is one of the best sites we have stayed at. The cabin was clean and homely and had everything you needed for your stay. The site has a newly built bar and pool all very nice and cheerful. All the places we wanted to visit were just a drive away. Overall a pleasant experience which I would recommend even came home thinking of maybe buying a caravan myself on the site.
Sharon from Liverpool (01 July 2016)

Wonderful relaxing time
David from Rossendale (27 June 2016)

Lovely quiet location, fabulous accommodation, lots of space inside and outside. Not much to walk to near by but lovely places to visit by car
Caroline from Middlesbrough (24 June 2016)

Lovely place to stay not much to do on site but we stayed there to relax will definately return
David (17 June 2016)

Ok , clean , modern, everything you need.
Dawn from Peterborough (10 June 2016)

This is the second time we have been here this year , fantastic lodge , very clean and the hot tub is fantastic, very relaxing holiday
Karen from Gateshead (03 June 2016)

Ideal location for a relaxing break. Close enough to blackpool if you want some fun but nice and peaceful on site. The new clubhouse is lovely but pool and park and need upgrading.
Kerry from Telford (03 June 2016)

Accomadation was lovely a few issues were unsettled by the site staff. Our patio door was unable to be opened and although site staff were called to sort the issue they were unable to fix it but failed to inform us of this. It wouldn't have been much of an issue but with small kids it proved difficult to have the comfort of leaving the main door open at any time as it led to the road (although quiet still not very safe as the door opened on to steps) we did have a bottle of wine when we first reported the issue but we were promised it would be fixed and it wasn't. Other than that the kids play area needs modernising but they did enjoy it. The pool is rather small but nice that you can book it for your exclusive use however my husband had a nasty experience of standing on an earring and had to extract it from his foot causing a little discomfort and bleeding on reporting this issue although the staff were nice we were told that they wouldn't know about these issues until something like this happened I appreciate it's difficult but if it had been one of my children it could have been worse. For what we paid it was a good holiday but some work is underway (seemed like the main work was done when we arrived and the bar looks great) just when u want to go away for a well deserved rest from work you want everything to be perfect. We would consider staying there again but I personally would not pay anymore than the special offer price we did. Staff were friendly but we were left unsatisfied about the door and pool incident we are not complainers and have not gone on here to complain we have been approached for our feedback.we have stayed at many places in the uk similar to this type of break it certainly was not the worst but by no means the best either.
Janet from Penn (30 May 2016)

Had a lovely weekend. the lodges are well equipped and furnished to a high standard. For some reason my back did not agree with the mattress on the bed waking up every morning quite sore. The pool and bar area are lovely although the pool is a little small.
Lee from Sheffield (23 May 2016)

The holiday park is very cramped and crowded. Not much space between the caravans. . we stayed in the gated area which was much better. Very spacious plots and not overlooked. . the new club house looked very nice but we did not use it.
Janet from Doncaster (20 May 2016)

Staff were so friendly and helpful. . we had a problem with the heating and they were at the lodge within 10 minutes . the club house was brilliant. Had a family fun day which the kids throughly enjoyed as did we..won a bottle of wine : ). lodge was in a lovely position overlooking a small lake.robes were supplied for hot tub, unfortunately slippers were not..only moan lol. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and a brilliant base for visiting blackpool and surrounding areas.
Melanie from Newcastle (02 May 2016)

Very clean and a nice place for a get a gathering, however the pool is not that great needs a good clean and is tiny.
Gillian from Castleton (25 April 2016)

Clean, well maintained lodge, with the added advantage of the hot tub which was checked and cleaned daily. Newly refurbished bar and lounge with extremely friendly staff and helpful staff made this a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend
Alexander from Perth (15 April 2016)

Great holiday. Good value for money. Staff friendly and helpful.
Catriona from Falkirk (15 April 2016)

Shouldn't put skinny dipping kids next to families
Vincent from Warrington (11 April 2016)

The lodge is really lovely, very well decorated and modern with everything you will need. we visited just before the school holiday week at easter and it was quite quiet with the bar and reception busy being refurbished but that wasn't a problem for us and it looks as if it will be great when finished. being an all female party comprising myself, my mother and my 8 year old daughter we felt particularly safe on this site due to the passcode barrier entry to where the lodge was situated. the best part of the park and of our time there was the hot tub, it was wonderful. we made full use of it and the staff followed us round on our arrival to ensure it was working ok and then daily checks were made. all in all a great holiday and not too far from the excitements of blackpool.
Jane from Kirkcaldy (08 April 2016)

We had a great time at sunset park, the lodge was excellent. The hot tub was great the kids loved it. The lodge was very clean and comfortable, practically brand new. The park its self wasn't very big and the onsite facilities were newly built but not a great deal going on although it was easter holidays but that didn't matter as you are only a stones throw way from the hustle and bustle of blackpool. The staff were excellent especially the maintenence guys who looked after the hot tub and helped us with the bbq. Would definitely stay again for a long weekend, we enjoyed our stay very much.
Gayle from Barrow In Furness, Cumbria. (04 April 2016)

Fab location, only down side was no shop on site and had a little bit of an adventure trying to find shop, with not knowing the area. We loved that washing machine and dryer were supplied, also loves the little touch of ice in freezer.
Kevin from North East (28 March 2016)

We wanted a relaxing and enjoyable time and that is exactly what we got, me my partner and our 18 month old labrador . the accommodation is one of if the best we stayed in and we have been using lodges for the best part of twenty years. The pool was at the time closed due to renovations (which the site office told us before we booked)but from what we saw it is a lovely pool and will definitely be using when we go back, we had an hot tub that comes with the lodge so was not too bothered about the pool. The staff were really helpful, had an issue with tv reception and they came and fixed it straight away, cant fault the staff they were there if you needed them day or night 24/7 thanks for a very enjoyable week, definitely going again soon!!
Mark from Bolton (26 March 2016)

Facilities were closed on our visit for refurb. Im sure when it is done it will be fab. The grounds are very well maintained. Park for children to play in.
Katie (21 March 2016)

Could not fault it perfect
Tyran from Swadlincote (18 March 2016)

Most definitely going to book again. Prefect week get away!
Catherine (14 March 2016)

Been here twice in the last 6 months to the lodges with hot tubs had a great time.
Amanda from Manchester (07 March 2016)

Lovely clean lodge , very modern , friendly staff, nice pool and jacuzzi indoors ,only downside was the bedroom size with a travel cot was no room withought putting the bed on its side , hot tub was lovely and warm and the staff very friendly
Caron from Bradford (19 February 2016)

A lovely stay in a very clean lodge with its very own private hot tub, which was enjoyed by all the family! friendly staff and good facilities, especially getting to hire out the pool for your use only! will definitely be back
Gemma from Dundee (15 February 2016)

My family and I had a wonderful time at sunset park, in spite of the weather. The lodge was in excellent condition on arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed our time in the clubhouse and it's facilities and of course having our own outside hot tub was marvellous. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, so overall we had everything to make our long weekend most enjoyable.
William from Barnsley (08 February 2016)

Lovely lodge .. nice setting.. peaceful and a great place to unwind.
Mark from St Neots (30 November 2015)

We hired two lodges side by side absolutely outstanding hot tubs tested for temp and chemicals every morning even in pouring rain the gentleman tested them.
Christine from Nunthorpe (30 November 2015)

We absolutely loved our weekend away at maple lodge and can't wait to return. The lodge was beautiful, it had everything you can think of and the hot tub was great - despite the cold and wet weather it didn't stop us using it. The leisure facilities were great and I loved the idea that you book it out for personal use so we had the pool and other facilities to ourselves. We went in the clubhouse on the saturday night - they have a play area for the kids which was great, bingo and an artist on. A good night was had by all... I can't wait to book another weekend!
Kim from Manchester (16 November 2015)

Lovely park with a small pool and bar. Half an hour into blackpool in the illuminations traffic.
Anon from Yorkshire (31 October 2015)

Excellent and comfortable lodge ! we will go back
Melissa from Newcastle (31 October 2015)

Fantastic time at sunset park. The swimming pool is a little small and stairs directly to the hot tub would have suited us more apart from that we loved it. Didn't want to come home. X
Paula from Haslingden (26 October 2015)

Lovely quite site and looks beautiful and very clean when you walk around the camp.will be back again soon.
Amanda from Manchester (28 September 2015)

Nice quiet holiday park. there was a bar not far from our lodge which was reasonably priced. A very small playground for children outside and some gym equipment. Inside, a very small soft play area and an arcade area that consisted of a racing car, bandit and 2p machine. Not really any facilities for children however, a large space for them to run around. Was very quiet when we visited, can't imagine would be ideal in busier periods.
Nicky from West Midlands (31 August 2015)

Beautiful relaxing place to go
Carmel from Manchester (31 August 2015)

We had a great time the lodge was beautiful the park was lovely. The staff were friendly and we cant wait to go back the most relaxed we have been in a long time.
