Bit disappointed with this holiday overall but before you just say oh heres another moany git, it actually takes a fair bit for me to complain or leave a bad review, as I am easily pleased, don't get me wrong the staff are mostly nice and the views and scenery are lovely all along the bay (very relaxing place to stay) on arrival we had no problems with the van very clean and nice and linen was fresh and laid out nice so no complaints there they even let us check in three hours early, this is why I gave two stars, but when you look a bit closer and spend longer there the cracks start showing there are lots of little things that would be considered aggravating such as dogs off leads by some owners and visitors (annoying if you have a dog) visitors and owners letting dogs poo everywhere and not cleaning it up, people (mainly owners) shouting and laughing loudly while bingo is on so you can't hear numbers being called (even the entertainment staff were shushing them and asking them to be quiet every 5 minutes) some visitors are unruly and there is no security doing anything about it (we saw the security twice the whole week) the early bar closures at 10pm during weekdays , the lack of entertainment during the weekdays, unable to order food after 5-6pm in the clubhouse as they stop letting people order and send the kitchen staff home early which is annoying during weekdays as there is no takeaway on site and nobody delivers to steeple either (might be worth putting a pappa john's onsite), the onsite shop is tiny and doesn't stock a great deal, no newspapers in the morning which is a pain as there isn't a shop for miles around, breakfast was tiny no choice at all no hash browns no scrambled egg no mushrooms (i'd advise you to bring your own if you like a full english)... for entertainment (best time is weekend fri-sun) no entertainment during mon-thursday all because of the small amount of people in the clubhouse during the week (was their excuse) there are power cuts on a daily basis in the van that last anything from an hour to two hours, we experienced it twice while staying here which is a bit of a nightmare when wanting to have a shower and go out, in general the park staff do try and keep us all entertained with games and bingo and it was a great effort from the two holiday reps (entertainment staff) but I get the feeling it was like they were trying to flog a dead horse..seems the management do not care about the place as much as the entertainment staff, the bar manager is probably one of the most ignorant and miserable people i've met, i'm sorry I know it's off season but when people are paying good money to stay at the site the least you can do is keep the entertainment on and the bar open it shouldnt matter about the amount of people in the place and efforts should be made to make sure holiday makers feel welcome all year round not just on season times. Food is nice but on two occasions our table needed to check on the order, as it was late arriving waited nearly an hour for desert, only to be told they were busy and there were 8 people in the seated area, having said that the food is really nice and resonably priced but its worth bearing in mind the kitchen staff go home at 5-6pm if the clubhouse is empty or has less than 10 people there, so you might want to bring a few pizzas or frozen meals in case this happens to you. The bar closed at 10pm most nights during weekdays as the bar staff said its pointless keeping the place open (even though it states a late night disco every night). the other thing is the location its absolutely miles away from anything so if you dont want to be driving all over the place during your holiday to see the sights (which there aren't a lot of to be honest mainly open fields and towns with nothing in them nearest shopping centre is a 20 mile round trip asda in heybridge) only sights to see would be burnham on crouch, st peters church, promenade park, the nuclear power plant at bradwell on sea (yes we were that bored) but they are all 20 miles round trips so if you like to see lots of things this place is probably not for you. I highly recommend promenade park for the kids. I feel the place (steeple) would not be suitable for kids either as the site has very little to do during the day (maybe its because its off season) and the characters were seen twice during the whole week when I was here including the weekends. If you are two people just away for a quiet romantic holiday and you are not big drinkers and like to spend most of the time in the caravan this place would be ideal. The place is in need of a massive overhaul and update needs a takeaway onsite an indoor pool for winter months, a bigger shop like a spar or something similar and maybe relocate the touring site and redecorate the clubhouse and expand the menu (very much doubt I will visit again st osyths is much better)
Lee from Romford (06 October 2017)

Lovely place everybody friendly just needs updating but can't wait to go back
Emma from Norwich (06 October 2017)

The caravan was cheap to rent and we paid for it as it was rather dirty!
John from Chelmsford (29 September 2017)

Caravan was fine and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. However the location was a bit remote.
Amanda from Stevenage (04 September 2017)

When we arrived at the caravan we found several bags of dog excrement under the caravan and the caravan itself smelt of dogs and cigarettes. Housekeeping did come and remove the hairs and the smell but the dog mess was not cleared from under the caravan for 2 days (we only went for 3 days). the quality of food in the restaurant was appalling - burnt steak and kidney pudding and the prawn cocktail was frozen shrimps on a bed of lettuce. When we went for a takeaway we had to wait 50 minutes for food in a fairly quiet time.
Tom from Dereham Norfolk (28 August 2017)

Very limited facilities, needs refreshing and tidying up around the (permanent)touring caravans and their awnings. Litter around our caravan and untidy bushes .
Lee from Hemel Hempstead (25 August 2017)

Lovely area shame the caravan wasn't cleaner having a caravan that allows pets we wasn't expecting the ritz but old food been left on the floors of the bedrooms ,food left in cupboards and unclean bed mattress covers means we won't be booking again
Miles (21 August 2017)

Not much around the area . . pool time very limited . . shop closes to early
David from Nottingham (14 August 2017)

Thankyou for a wonderful holiday the caravan h8 was perfect clean very comftable loved it would love too go back one day had a lovely holiday staff brilliant just everyt hing surroundungs all good
Sandy from Grays Essex (11 August 2017)

Although staff in steeple bay were lovely they didn't have a lot to work with, there wasn't much to do on site and nothing nearby to do either we had issues with a drug using guest damaging my car and leading to an arrest as he was welding a knife! the police called and man took away, the man was shaking my caravan and resulted in one of my daughters having a massive asthma attack which ruined her holiday and made all three of my children very frightened, trying to be fair with my rating but was put off a park holiday if I am honest
Emma from Rickmansworth (28 July 2017)

Only good thing was weather site very out dated and in need of modernism so called beach was mudd
Stacey (07 July 2017)

Very please with holiday at steeple bay been here about six times now good position to get to other places just narrow road last half mile to site could do with mirrors on blind bends
Les from Ramsgate,Kent (23 June 2017)

Very good holiday home will use same again but at different location highly recommended easy to find good parking very little noise well worth a visit if you wish to see the sights of essex
Richard from Basingstoke (23 June 2017)

Dirty caravan, mould on walls and under mattress, bathroom sink weren't cleaned, not enough covers and pillows for the number of people I added when booked, kids couldn't even get in the pool on the hottest day of the year as they had a booking system that meant my children kept missing out, caravan also had dogs hairs and smelt of dog, disappointed with my weekend
Michelle (19 June 2017)

Caravan cupboards very dirty.
Steven from Slough (19 June 2017)

I stayed here over the may halfterm, wasn't as busy as I thought it would of been, although the pool area was full of kids! . the caravan I had was superb, couldn't of asked for more for what I paid for!. as there is no supermarket around, the shop could have more variance of products! . . overall a very good weekend!
Mark from Basildon (29 May 2017)

1st time I have stayed in a caravan with no remote for the tv and when I asked for 1 I was told I have to do it by hand there was over 40 channels on freeveiw
Gavin from Norfolk (24 April 2017)

Great holiday. Caravan was lovely and clean, very spacious for what we needed. We did travel about a bit whilst there but ate on site daily. The first night was a little hit and miss with the food as they didn't have much available however every night after I couldn't fault it. Great value for money, fantastic atmosphere for adults and the kids. We didn't use the pool as it was a little cold and didnt fancy being in an outdoor pool with little ones. The shop on site was very handy and the staff are extremely friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Charlotte from Hinckley (21 April 2017)

Both myself and the kids had a great time. There was an issue with the gas fire ignition which was dealt with in less than an hour and the staff were really pleasant and professional. One of the toilets was leaking slightly but in my opinion it was a normal problem with such mobile homes and the staff dealt with it promptly. We had a second toilet so it didn't matter. The facilities on the site were clean and well maintained. All in all I could see that the staff were really trying very hard to keep a certain standard and I would suggest the setting to my friends and family. I actually came with my own bed linen but could not believe how well the mobile home was equipped. The place was very clean and tidy. The location is fantastic for local points of interest and all in all as a single parent with two children I found it to be a fantastic holiday. We went to cornwall to a similar setting and both of my children felt it was better and wanted to go back again. Thank you.
Marie from London (21 April 2017)

The caravan was great, well kept and very clean!. . we only used the park as base for trips to the surrounding which made traveling to various destinations quite strenuous since the park is situated far off any interesting sites - our mistake when we booked :(. if you are just looking for a nice time without planning to leave the park I guess you'll be fine there although I was a bit appalled when I found people drinking liquor and beer as early as 11.00 in the morning!
Nicole from Steeple Bay (21 April 2017)

Not the greatest of places to stay as not a lot for children to do but in saying that is was ok for what we needed it for which was just a bed for a week, we didn't see any entertainment as we were out all day every day visisting relatives, there was not much for children to do, the staff were lovely and helpful, this is a lovely place for maybe a couple or if you are after a quiet place to have a drink, but like all holidays its what you make it, but I will say the food was terrible in our opinion but don't let that stop you from staying here, it was a lovely little camp site in the middle of knowhere, quiet, helpful staff, great park, wouldn't know about the beach we never got to see it, although this was not the greateast park we have stayed in we would stay again as the caravan was realy nice, it is close to relatives in the area and there is plenty to do around the area we would just use this as a bed for the nights and what we paid for was value for money, we would not eat here we would go out, as for entertainment we didn't see any so cannot comment on that either, not many arcades, you could see this as not great or you could see this as well I wont spend a lot, and ther is always southend close by. But yes overall I would stay here again as I know what to exspect of the site which is not a lot but it was quiet , clean, the staff were lovely so it wasn't a bad experience just wouldn't eat here again. My husband said it was top doller prices for cheap food. But each to there own
Caroline from Lincolnshire (14 April 2017)

Nice site clean and well equipped caravan
Sue from Basildon Essex (10 April 2017)

Reception staff excellent, park warden who answered the buzzer at the barrier upon arrival and when we returned each evening was surly , rude and disinterested.
Daniel (03 April 2017)

Stayed late march 2017. weather was perfect but not sure about local attractions if weather was bad as not a lot to do in local area. caravan was nice and clean but cannot comment on entertainment as we only used caravan as a base and did not use clubhouse. reception staff very helpful and friendly. would stay again.
John from Essex (31 March 2017)

The caravan was very clean and tidy the site could do with a little money spending on it and also needed a little tidy up
Colin from Telford (27 March 2017)

Staff were friendly and helpful . caravan gold plus was lovely would have preferred a more comfortable bed but that's my opinion . site was undergoing some improvements but did not disturb us as we were there early season for some r&r. Will be returning towards end of season
Mark from Hockley Essex (24 March 2017)

Not alot to do there, but was a relaxing holiday. Wouldn't come again due to lack of facilities
Michelle from Exeter (07 October 2016)

We were not expecting luxury as we had booked including our dog. The accommodation was clean and adequate but unfortunately the bag of dog poo under the van and the volume of cigarette buts at the bottom of the steps was a bit of a put off. The approach to the site is long and narrow and the brambles have been allowed to overgrow. This meant scratches on my vehicle when having to pull across to pass other vehicles or allow them to pass us. We were fortunate with the weather and this allowed us to explore the beautiful essex countryside and pretty little villages.
Mary from Southend-On-Sea (16 September 2016)

The caravan that we had was awful, it smelt terrible and someone had tried to cover it up with air freshener, only 1 window opened and it was 32* there were 3 caravans of travelers around us, swearing and cursing drunk at 2am. Worst caravan holiday that we have had.
Joan from Ilford (16 September 2016)

Worst holiday we have ever had, we left 3 days early due to the disappointment.
Carleen (12 September 2016)

On arrival our caravan was not cleaned properly there were cobwebs everywhere the floors didn't get sweeped/hoovered it just generally felt dirty!
Billie from Crawley (12 September 2016)

Lovely area bit isolated but quiet would go again
Belinda from Cambridge (09 September 2016)

Very dirty caravan, had to be cleaned before we moved in. . some staff not respectful on reception. . location was lovely though.
Jonathan from Beccles (03 September 2016)

Its in the middle of nowhere so bring plenty of food with you as shop is expensive. But other wise its a lovely flat site idea for families.
Mark from Swindon (02 September 2016)

Camp site nice facilities were poor know good to anyone without a car
Colin from Birmingham (22 August 2016)

Caravan had various issues and was in an appalling condition.
Karen from Devizes (29 July 2016)

Very nice stay but the food needs improving and think the bar closes a little early as people are on holiday and a lot of other clubs stay open later.
Nicola from Dartford (29 July 2016)

This was our fifth stay at steeple bay. Unfortunately the weather was not conducive to using all the facilities the site has to offer. The recent torrential rain (mid-june) meant that parts of the site, including parking by the caravan, were too unstable to use.
Geoff from Ilkley (17 June 2016)

All ok would visit again
Anthony (20 May 2016)

Last minute break away. . traveled by train and then cab to park, only to realise we were based in the middle of no where. Must have own transport if you're thinking of staying here. Had to get a cab to take us to the nearest town. Area around park is quite picturesque. Everyone friendly. Caravan was clean and comfortable, though we did have a leaking toilet which was repaired during our stay.
Shirley from London (02 May 2016)

Great holiday park, superb location, we had a super holiday,
David from Rushden (08 April 2016)

Disappointed that there was not a vegetarian sunday dinner, was told "you just get veg and potatoes" so we went off site for dinner - very poor
Kevin from Welwyn Garden City, Herts (04 April 2016)

It was ok for a short break but the outdoor swimming pool should get a roof to be used all year round.
Paul from Margate (14 March 2016)

An ideal site for birdwatching.
Keith from Epsom (12 October 2015)

Beautiful spot literally a very short stroll from the estuary - the sunsets were stunning!
Stuart from Bournemouth (05 October 2015)

We didn't like as much ---did'nt think gold was gold ----we had better ones before-----but ok
Martina from Germany (26 September 2015)

Very tranquil place me and my partner stayed for a week lovely scenery very peacefull staff were very help full and friendly very good value for money
Lauren from Orpington Kent (21 September 2015)

Would stop here again.park was nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful.great 2 weeks.
Andre (19 September 2015)

Very good! you could do well to encourage oap groups on outings (nt trust) (english heretage) etc.
Chris from Hinkley Leicester (04 September 2015)

Had t book the pool and the shop was very badly stocked.
Andrew from London (17 August 2015)

Never going there again , iv been on caravan holidays now for 15 years and iv got to say that was the worst , staff were very rude , the swimming pool you could never get in and the entertainment was rubbish
Keilee from Oxford (15 August 2015)

If you are looking for a caravan park really out of the way from the buzz then this is for you. Unfortunately too far away from essential shopping and most places we wished to visit.
Margaret from Hamilton (10 August 2015)

Caravan was lovely..site was not it was like being on a building site. Shop /reception shut very early and on first night when to the bar for some food but it was not clean - floor was filthy and tables were dirty and sticky.
Angela (03 August 2015)

Nice enough park, but too remote and too far from the beach. the park really needs to add a decent shop and a takeaway.
Bridget from Coventry (01 August 2015)

After a very long journey, we were all hungry. when we arrived, we were told there was no chicken left and then after changing our orders at 8.30pm - were then told that due to a problem in kitchen, there would be no more meals! we asked please could we order something as we had had a long and tiring journey and the children were hungry - so then they agreed to do something. we then waited an hour for our food! the staff were apologetic and gave us a bottle of wine - which was nice of them. the following day, we tried to use the swimming pool, only to be told it was not working! staff then said we could use the local leisure centre and would be reimbursed the cost. we headed off for the leisure centre - when we got there, they said it was closed to public as they had private swimming lessons on! of course the children were really disappointed. the following two days, the swimming pool was not working properly o heating etc. So again was very disappointing. the staff were really helpful and friendly, but the facilities were pretty poor.
Caroline from Sutton (31 July 2015)

Steeple bay as a surrounding is lovely and tranquil but as for the holiday park we stayed in not impressed.the park itself is in the middle of nowhere which may be ideal for the tranquility but the access to local shops(20 min.) is a problem. The facilities here are knackered and needs major planning for a total revamp because it has potential. The staff at reception were friendly and accommodating and complaints were dealt with professionally. However, it was evident from the staffing levels on hand at the site they were short-staffed and looked over-run, especially the one-man entertainer who tried in vain to satisfy not only the kiddies but the adult contingency as well. As for entertainment, day or evening, it is none and void which is another way of saying nothing. Sorry I lied, I saw cake decoration for the kids, bingo a couple of nights and a low quality attempt at karaoke, so there. As for the pool, this was a nightmare in its own right. To briefly explain, it was closed for three out of the four days we were there; and remember this is high season (july). the reason for this closure according to management was that they could not get the ph level (chlorine) balance correct of the pool water. My teenage children were not impressed to say the least. If there were alternative entertainment facilities for them it may not have been so disastrous. On to a positive note, the general cleanliness of the site is impeccable (no litter in sight) and the accommodation we stayed in could not be faulted. Overall a disappointing holiday within beautiful surroundings. With some forward thinking and planning has potential to become a beautiful little resort park. I would say to my fellow holidaymakers avoid, book elsewhere, repeat. I am sure for a little more money there are other camping parks that are worthy of their weight in gold.
Brian from London (31 July 2015)

I had a lovely stay with my grandson, could have done with more activities but taking into account that it was the week before the school holidays started so not too many kids.
Charly (17 July 2015)

Excellent value! caravan exceptionally clean. staff very friendly, helpful and very quick responding to any queries or problems
Janet from Liverpool (10 July 2015)

Caravan beautiful. we got a last minute deal. brilliant value x it was in a lovely quiet area. . only criticism was rubbish, bottles and broken glass around picnic tables near the slipway for boats etc. obviously some people have no respect for others. . would visit again. Lovely area. nice site.
Karen from Nottingham (03 July 2015)

What a fantastic time we had! lots of fun ,lots to do, our son loved it , will definitely be going back and can't wait!!
Amy from Gillingham Kent (29 June 2015)

Not a lot to do in the area.
Susan (26 June 2015)

All good thanks
Tony from Bury (26 June 2015)

Not the quietist of locations being near the maintenance yard and building site. In [previous years we have been located in dunlin area.

A bit out of the way but if you like peace and quiet it's ideal, used as a base for touring the area got round most of what interested us in the area so probably wouldn't return. A car/your own transport is essential
Paul from Lincoln (13 June 2015)

Beautiful quiet place to walk the dog, lots of wildlife, yet only 15-20 mins in the car to nearest towns like maldon, supermarkets/shops close by, large site great as you don't feel on top of people, small shop with essentials, staff very helpful and friendly, would visit again!

Excellent. only need to look after swimming pool..water was to cold and couldn't use swimming pool at all. It was said on site that it will be heated pool but actually it wasn't. Otherwise perfect place to relax. excellent customer services. All friendly staff.

Quiet site which was great, lovely walks and views. Caravan ok but cold at night, hot water was hit and miss. Liked being situated away from bar/pool as not keen on kids. I would stay here again. Could do with a chip shop cafe bar.

It is too remote for us to want to stay again. The caravan though was spotlessly clean and comfortable.

My dog and I stayed in a bronze rated 6 berth caravan. The home itself was clean although basic ie: no toilet roll or soaps, the tv only picked up bbc channels. The food that was served at the on site restaurant was good and vouchers provided freebie food and drink each night of my stay. The surrounding area was great for dog walking and lots of wildlife to be seen.

We booked a 3*gold caravan for our week ,however in reality it was more a 3 bed silver. the caravan was parked at the rear of the site the furthest away from the entertainment hub. The entrance to the van was across soggy grass with little or no facilities to clean shoes. Overall a disappointing week and the most uncomfortable caravan.

Entertainment limited to weekends as it was quiet during the weekdays, I found this disappointing as we were in the club with three children who ended up bored, because of the lack of entertainment. I feel entertainment should still be offered even if it is quiet as the staff are there anyway!
Julie from Manchester (17 April 2015)

There isn't a lot of facilities on site, a very small arcade, a lovely pub area which serves food (over priced) and an outdoor swimming pool. This site is certainly lacking a chip shop on site. Now that's the negatives here are the positives which far out way the negatives. The caravan was the cleanest i've ever stayed in. The staff are fantastic and can't do enough for you, because of the lack of facilities we didn't spend half as much money as we do when we go to other sites and if you can drive there are some gorgeous places to visit. Maldon, southend on sea, burnham on crouch and clacton on sea. we loved it so much all 3 caravans of us have booked to return again!

The holiday home was fantastic, the children had so much fun with the outside swimming pool, entertainment and everybody was very friendly. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Hardly any of the arcade machines worked, playground was poor, shop tiny and caravan freezing- nothing in area and over hour to decent seaside
Catherine (06 April 2015)

The holiday we had was really nice. The park was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful! our caravan was lovely and spacious, it was tidy! however not very clean. The floor didn't look like it was swept and we found a pair of children's mouldy pants under the bathroom cabinet, god knows how long they were there for! . the holiday park was quite far away from everything but we did have a nice, cheap weekend away so can't complain really, except about the mouldy pants! er!

Best night sleep I have had in a long time. Location was perfect, staff was very friendly. Food and drinks was cheap. Caravan was very clean and had everything we needed. Would 100% recomend and stay again. Only downfall was fully booked so we could not extend are stay.

Very good.

Very good.
Angela from Walsall (03 November 2014)

We opted for a lower rating caravan which was fine for us. Bit grubby in areas and dogs hairs but I didn't mind having a quick clean when we arrived because the holiday was so reasonably priced.

Karen from Newquay (29 September 2014)

It was much further from clacton than we thought but a lovely place in the country. We don't spend much time in the clubhouse but noticed that the machines were not maintained and emptied enough. That must have meant that a lot of revenue was lost as the children especially wanted to spend their money there.
Susan (29 August 2014)

The park was miles from anywhere, the roads were too bendy and if the hedges has been cut down you would be able to see where you were going, instead you had to practically stop when taking a bend. not a good idea.
Susan from Hanwell, London (22 August 2014)

The park had rubbish falling out of bins when we arrived it was emptied the next day but first impressions matter the site was to far from anywhere for us and the caravan was dirty
Lesley from Kent (11 August 2014)

I was really impressed with steeple bay the staff were really helpful and always there to talk to. Any issues were dealt with promptly. The caravan was very spacious and relaxing
Ian from Carlisle (09 August 2014)

The holiday was a good holiday but getting to seasides were too long to get to. That is the only reason why we would not be your particular park but your park is a good park so I am not critasising just being honest for our needs.
Carol from Bletchley Bucks (26 July 2014)

Remote location but with plenty to do. Can be busy and noisy at the weekend. site has plenty of facilities. beware of single track road to site, high hedges and poor visibility.
Alan from Perth (23 June 2014)

Nothing wrong with site, found the area a bit boring, perhaps we didnt look hard enough
Barbara from Chorley (21 June 2014)

Will be back, great park
Maureen from St Albans (20 June 2014)

Steeple bay fulfils everything we need in the 4 nights we spend there:-excellent location for relaxing walks by the river, interesting places to visit, and ideal for making a day visit to france for shopping, enabling the whole journey via the tunnel to be completed in daylight. The caravans (magnum silver) are more than adequate for the short time we spend in them.
Geoff from Burley-In-Wharfedale (20 June 2014)

Peaceful, beautiful part of the country, warm outdoor pool
Margaret from Doncaster (13 September 2013)

No good points

Very good and would come back
Margaret from Plaistow (02 August 2013)

Nice area to explore. Park was nice, basic facilities but at the price we didn't expect anything different.
Philip from Cornwall (02 August 2013)

Nice quite place, good facilities, helpful staff
Derek from Peterborough (12 July 2013)

Had fishing lake on site which was a bonus..caravan was clean.

Scott from Coventry (05 July 2013)

Cheap deal
Peter (29 June 2013)

Lovely estuary views.
Linda from Stoke On Trent (22 June 2013)

Set in beautiful surroundings and the pool area is so lovely to have a heated pool is such a plus point, unfortunately we only got to go in it once as the weather was a bit chilly but its definitely an asset. We went for a walk through the site the weather was sunny and some caravans are like a home from home with bedding plants and built in barbeques it was really lovely to have a nose at the caravans for sale too, well words failed us it was stunning and I could have lived in it permanently! the clubhouse was great fun too and the staff are all so friendly especially the clubhouse manager he actually made our stay and my daughter and I are through to the talent finals at steeple bay in september and I for one cannot wait.
Juliet from Coventry (17 June 2013)

Caravan was far enough away from the clubhouse to have a peaceful holiday. location to walk the dog by the estuary was lovely.
Wendy from Caerphilly (01 June 2013)

They let us checked in during mid day when we arrived which was nice.
Lan from Swindon (01 June 2013)

None
Stephen (20 May 2013)

Helpfullness of the site manager she was reaally good..but the star member of staff was scott the bar manager who went out of his way to helping a poor stay bareable.

Paula from Northamptonshire (01 April 2013)

All the staff were extremely helpful and kind and fantastic with the kids. . the site was clean and tidy and very well maintained
Reanna from Ingatestone, Essex (30 March 2013)

No good points really, only a decent sized bar and entertainments hall.
Kevin from Letchworth Garden City (18 March 2013)

The park is quiet and on an estuary, very peaceful.
Debbie from Blackpool (20 October 2012)

Really enjoyed our stay
Paul from Manchester (21 September 2012)

David from Portsmouth (10 September 2012)

Very relaxing
Mary from Rutherglen,South Lanarkshire E (07 September 2012)

The staff where very helpfull when my son was sick and bought us new bedding and a new mattress
Mandy from Nottingham (25 August 2012)

Nice location and a good base for exploring the surrounding area, close to southminster railway station for the london train. Good outdoor pool and good for walks along the river.
Philip from Worksop (13 August 2012)

The park was chosen because of its central location and attractive facilities offered in brochure.the caravan was as advertised and we were happy with the caravan itself however the access roads to the caravan were very muddy and rutted.
Brian from Ringstead, Northamptonshire (12 August 2012)

Lovely quiet site, swimming pool, play area and entertainment for small people. On site shop enough for the basics. Good bar.
Sarah (27 July 2012)

The staff were pleasant
Martyn from Bristol (22 June 2012)

The accommodation made this holiday. The holiday home was huge, with amazing views over the estuary. A gorgeous enclosed balcony area making it very safe for toddlers and children!
Gavin from Fleet (11 June 2012)

Friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. Pleasant walking area .
Jane (07 May 2012)

This was a fantastic time for all of us with a great view over the estuary and the quality of the lodge was excellent more than we expected. . . will happily book again.
