I would highly reccomend st minver to family and friends we have re booked for next year and we are goning to stay in a lodge as apposed to a caravan
Laura from South Wales (04 November 2017)

Accommodation was fantastic, however the facilities were quiet minimal when compared to holidays we've had at the warmwell park
Kylie (03 November 2017)

We could not fault the lodge we stayed in, it was very nice, clean and well equipped. The site was also well maintained. The issues that we had over our stay was that when visiting the restaurant on site we had a long wait and service was very bad. Although the staff were as helpful as possible the amount of staff on (2) was not enough for the amount of bookings on site and within the restaurant, and when you have children this is not great. Also during the evening of the saturday that we were there the bar completely ran out of alcohol and this meant we ended up going back to the lodge and buying alcohol, an added expensive, and spending the rest of the nights at the lodge rather than in the club with entertainment which ruined the holiday. I would not return to this site for this reason. We chose this site for the location and the fact it had the club with entertainment for the children, but instead we ended up spending the evenings in our lodge.
Damon from Dorset (30 October 2017)

All the facilities you could require. A pleasant woodland site; very quiet but with easy access to an excellent heated swimming pool and small nisa shop. the entertainment for the children each day kept them busy and happy! definitly and place to return in the future.
Ronald from Bristol (28 October 2017)

My stay at st minver so a lovely holiday, the staff were friendly, we were there of halloween and there was plenty of halloween activities for the the kids, they park laid a nice halloween party for the children and the buffet was excellent, my daughter really enjoyed herself. . the surroundings of rock, padstow, port issac, newquay where not far away at all, local tesco at wadebridge was not far at all. . I would recommend this park to others.
Carla from London (28 October 2017)

Had a fab week here mid october very lucky with weather lovely well run site did not use entertainment or restaurant but saw menu good choice and good prices, well situated for padstow, rock and wadebridge, and port isaac had a great timevening caravan clean spacious and well equipped with central heating and a washer drier, had to ask at reception about central heating and maintenance came out right away and helped, nice little shop, pool looked lovely but didn't use, great park
Julie from West Midlands (21 October 2017)

Excellent place been 2 years running .booking again for next year highly recommend. Especially the polzeath lodges superb .
Lisa from Leicestershire (21 October 2017)

We stayed in a polzeath lodge. The lodge was really nice and was fully equipped with more than you needed. The site was nice and it wasn’t cramped. We used the pool which was staffed at all times. The site is positioned well to visit places. Overall a good site and we would return.
Pawel from Leicestershire (20 October 2017)

Spent 4 nights here. Caravan was excellent. Did not use the facilities apart from the shop. good location, staff very pleasant & helpful.
Godfrey from Neath (20 October 2017)

Hired a pet friendly accommodation but couldn't go in to see entertainment / use restaraunt as dogs not allowed. a vacuum in the caravan would have been nice. caravan smelt of dog. We paid extra for our dog which I presume is for the extra cleaning. Shame because it was a nice caravan. Nice surroundings and friendly staff.
Tracey from Droitwich (13 October 2017)

Great place and holiday lodge was superb !
Lynda from Evesham Worcestershire (13 October 2017)

So impressed came home and booked again for next year
Nicola from Cheddar (07 October 2017)

We had a lovely time at st. Minver, and even though there were only a few of us in the entertainment show it didn't deter the staff on stage. They still carried on as if it was a full room. Well done for that. The chalets were very clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfy. Although we didn't take our swimming costumes we could tell what a great place it was, so next time look out.. also, we didn't take our dog, but I think he missed out on a great time, so will be doing that too next time. Thank you for a great holiday.
John from Helston (06 October 2017)

It was respit for my dad and he had an amazing time. His has already book go at easter. Safe where so good in helping with any problems
Tanya from Thetford Norfolk (06 October 2017)

We had a wonderful holiday here. We went for a quiet relaxing holiday which is exactly what we got. The entertainment area is small so ideal for younger children. We bought our beloved doggy for her first holiday and it was wonderful to be able to stay in such lovely accommodation.
Melanie from Berkshire (30 September 2017)

Loved the lodge we were in. Site quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted, and the surrounding countryside was fantastic.
Tina from Newark (22 September 2017)

The park was very peaceful and green. We didn't have cause to ask for any help during our holiday but the staff we did speak to were very friendly. Someone came to our lodge on our second day to make sure everything was okay. There is a bridle path through/past the park leading to st minver and beyond which is nice for a stroll. St minver is small but pleasant with lovely views over the hills. The adventure playground and crazy golf was good. The entertainment complex didn't look anything special from the outside but inside it served it's purpose. The takeaway food was tasty, the bar staff friendly and the softplay was a good size (suitable for ages 18m - 8 years i'd say. Our youngest son is 15 months and loves a climb but he needed me on hand in this softplay). the swimming pool was a good size and the baby pool was lovely and warm. My only criticism is that there was a fan pumping cold air into the swimming pool 'room' one day.
Helen from Surrey (09 September 2017)

I know you get what you pay for, I understand that. But, maple chalet was damp & had water running down inside of walls. Not good. Went for carvery on sunday evening, service and food supply was poor, we waited 25mins for vegatables, waited 20mins for a drink. Lot of staff working but no organization. Room for improvment.
Lee (08 September 2017)

The place are very good ideal for big family. However the chalet we stayed is very outdated cleanliness and maintenance definitely need improvement.
Juliet from Torpoint (04 September 2017)

Super place for a family holiday. The pool was super and the accommodation was better than the pictures showed. We had a great time.
Customer 20 from Worcester (04 September 2017)

We had a fantastic stay at st minver would definitely return. Kids loved the entertainment
Melissa (02 September 2017)

We all enjoyed it. The pool was lovely and warm. Restaurant expensive for the quality of the food.
Vanessa from Swansea (02 September 2017)

Great location, staff friendly and helpful. Main entertainment area needs a big refurbishment. We had a lovely holiday
Louise from Great Missenden (01 September 2017)

Really enjoy staying here just wish it was alittle cheaper
Michael from Oxford (01 September 2017)

A lovely place. Really enjoyable. The lodges are really well kept.
Hayley from Maldon (01 September 2017)

The location was amazing, although I had no phone signal and the wi-fi was very poor depending on your location, the drinks were a bit over priced even for a holiday, the food was amazing, the kids evening entertainment was incredible and so interactive, the only places I would say there was room for improvement on was the soft play area as it was very very small and the walls needed a lick of paint or some tlc and the swimming pool for the young ones could do with a little slide or a a bit more playful would of be an idea, but to be honest these are mediocre, we had an amazing time, the staff were incredibly friendly, the location itself was amazing so much greenery, my dog loved the green and it was so quite and peaceful, and the caravan itself was so nice really well looked after and modern for a caravan, not what I expected at all especially since it was our first visit, this is somewhere we are wanting to go to again and again, it was defiantly worth the 9 hour drive
Simon from Altrincham (26 August 2017)

Fantastic polzeath lodge, very clean, had everything we needed. Great location for padstow, polzeath, port issac etc, its a small park so not too busy. Non existent mobile airways which could be a problem in an emergency, wifi in the manor house. Used this site mainly as a base, would stay again.
Kate from Colchester (26 August 2017)

Was better than expected. Even though there are 300 units on the site, it was generally quiet. Our granddaughter enjoyed the stay, which was the primary reason for staying.
Ramsey (26 August 2017)

Great location
Rob (26 August 2017)

The lodge that we stayed in was fantastic. It had lots of space and well-equipped. the village of st minver itself is lovely.
Emma from Cambridge (25 August 2017)

Site very nice, lodge equipment space, in need of some tlc.
Vivienne from Bicester (25 August 2017)

We had lovely accommodation. in a lovely part of the park. the manor house was functional but had no character - and I hated the fact there was a room full of arcade machines for all ages. didn't bother eating there - just seemed like a cafe rather than a restaurant. . there is however no wifi - none in the accommodation none..my girls ended up in the manor house most nights as that was the only place to get wifi. not a surprise as its the west country but there was no phone signal either.. great if you want to get away from it all useless if you need to be contacted!
Helen from Portsmouth (21 August 2017)

Lovely clean caravan, well equipped. facilities we felt were poor due to lack of manor house not having enough attractions for children, and snooker table in games room not having balls or cue's to use making it redundant. Due to location being a little bit far out from main town you have to have transport. staff were very friendly and helpful and informative. value for money, we felt it is overpriced for what's offered on this site.
Jacky from Somerset (18 August 2017)

We had a wonderful time in one of your lodges and we loved the area - our first time to cornwall - preferred thislocation to a more touristy spot. absolutely stunning surroundings for the lodges.
Kate from Romford (18 August 2017)

We loved st minver it was lovely and peaceful
Darren from Nottingham (18 August 2017)

Fantastic holiday location, lots to do for adults and children alike. Would highly recommend this place.
Lynne from Gosport (18 August 2017)

Lodge was great, apart from blinds need fixing, manor house needs updating, owner ship of park, means club house and entertainment not really good!
Len from Hertfordshire (14 August 2017)

Accommodation was great and staff were really helpful. The only thing that lets the site down is some of the facilities in the manor house especially the games room and the amusement arcade.
Michael from Cricklade (12 August 2017)

Had a great week here for second year. the facilities are adequate for our needs and the site itself is lovely, clean and tidy.
Catherine from Birmingham (12 August 2017)

Club was poor and in need of a refurb with only basic entertainment. Avoided restaurant due to comments. site scenery was lovely and well located. swimming pool was heated perfectly unlike some which are to cold. caravan was small, basic with damp rooms.
Simon (12 August 2017)

Just come back from a week at st minver absolutely fantastic and great location. 5 min drive from rock to catch a boat taxi over to padstow. Great facilities for all ages. Will be coming back again.
James from Nottinghamshire (12 August 2017)

The site was very clean, tidy and well laid out.
James from Grantham (11 August 2017)

Was a lovely family break and the children enjoyed the swimming pool, soft play, playground and crazy golf. The only thing that was disappointing for us is that the lodge was very clean. Lots of cobwebs and dust on towel radiators. Stains from radiator leaks too. Lovely park and would visit again but would have expected a higher standard of cleanliness as paid for a higher spec lodge
Kelly from Wiltshire (11 August 2017)

Very nice had cherry chalet and was comfortable and clean would book again.
David from Bradford (11 August 2017)

Overall the site was ok but the children's entertainment was very poor they didn't cater for slightly older children 7-10.
Sue from Colne Lancashire (11 August 2017)

Fabulous holiday whole family thoroughly enjoyed it,staff incredibly helpful, caravan very comfortable has everything you need, nice to have outdoor space to sit in good weather.whole family have booked to go again next year already as soon as we arrived back home.
Deborah from Birmingham (05 August 2017)

We took our 8 and 4 year old sons on holiday to st minver for 2 weeks and we all had a wonderful time. The caravan and park were all very clean and modern and there were a variety of activities for children to take part in (although our boys weren't always interested in the daytime activities - they did like the chocolate party, science activities, talent show and swimming). the location was great - right next to beautiful rock beach, and the actual caravan park was nice and peaceful. Our children enjoyed the play area and mini golf and they absolutely loved the evening entertainment and looked forward to it every night - connor, charlotte and alice were great (and we enjoyed it more and more each time we went, definitely grew on us!). the boys said it was their best holiday ever (better than going abroad!) and they'd like to go again next year!
David from Darlington (05 August 2017)

Overall very disappointing . our lodge was clean and modern but the rest of the site was basic. The pool was basic with no fun slides for kids. The baby pool was also far too deep for my 10 month old. The clubhouse looked like it needed redecorating and the pool tables were broken with some games machines not working. Our dishwasher broke, they could not repair it so we had to hand wash dishes for the rest of the holiday !!. the hallway door handle broke - they also could not repair this and had to block it up with some tape !!!. the vacuum cleaner broke - they sent a replacement of an ugly dirty black henry style. The cot was difficult to put up in the room as the clips wouldn't easily fit into place. . so many faults!!!. . there was no interest in the backward old style of entertainment. No kids disco ????. . . we would not return.
Sharon from Sheffield (04 August 2017)

St minver is a very nice place and we would recommend it. Our daughter loved the kids entertainment and wants to go back again. Used the restaurant twice in the week. Breakfast was very good. Evening meal less so as the description of the meal we chose - 'tikka masala' - was nothing like it so disappointing. We loved visiting 'rock' and the beach there. We can see why it is so popular. Parking is limited so it important to go early.
Bryan from Warrington (04 August 2017)

Great holiday friendly helpful staff. Fantastic clean site kids loved it so much around to see and do would definatly go again
Philip from Staffordshire (29 July 2017)

Just ok overall. The pool was great but the site was much further from the beach than I expected from description and pictures. The clubhouse was grubby and the food was a very poor standard but the staff were great. No towels or even a bath mat provided. The parking for the caravan was so tight up against the neighbouring van we felt we were squashed in. Caravan was not properly clean with lots of cobwebs and the hoover must have been used to clean pet hair up as it stank the whole caravan out of dog after we used it. But staff on the site were very nice
Sara (28 July 2017)

On arrival my children found an unopened condom. Not the best of starts. The caravan after closer inspection was filthy.
Sheena from Exeter (28 July 2017)

Worst holiday I have been on ,swimming lady and elderly gentleman behind bar was awesome but everyone else we met especially the entertainments manager was quite rude on a few occasions and didnt want to know,as was most of the staff, got there at 11am on a saturday and couldn't get food for 7 of us and this was 15th july 2017 ,unreal after driving 3and a half hrs and just wanted to relax. Various other problems through the holiday all relative to the holiday park . wouldn't go here again .over priced £2.50 for 12 chips in a small burger tray same price for 3 x garlic bread.
Martyn (22 July 2017)

Lovely peaceful site, well laid out. Cabin was excellent, spacious and well equipped. Would definitely return
Margaret from Brecon (16 June 2017)

Brilliant , fantastic lodge . . shame we had the kids :)))
Andrew from West Sussex (27 May 2017)

Excellent holiday, great location staff onsite very friendly. . . but: ant infestation in cabin - reported ant baits put down but heard nothing from staff at hotel since reporting on first day. . restaurant on site - food poor, poor hygiene practices and prices were very expensive - £12 for an undercooked pizza?
Chris from Stoke On Trent (26 May 2017)

Very impressed overall, good clean lodge with everything in it that you would need including a potato peeler. the swimming pool was warm & exceptionally clean. We went to the kids disco a couple of times which was ok the kids entertainment followed which was themed around sid seagull & lizzy lizard kept the kids amused. The food from the club house was over priced & nothing special. Everywhere clean & tidy
Nicola from Whitchurch (20 May 2017)

A holiday we enjoyed, the accommodation was clean and as we would have expected, the staff were very friendly and helpful. we love this part of the country.
Reginald from Warminster (19 May 2017)

Lovely location just down the road from rock and across from padstow. The luxury lodge was very nicely decorated and laid out. Everything you could want away from home with two little ones. The only negatives were:. 1) bedrooms- both of us woke every morning with back ache- the mattresses were very firm!. there were no undersheets, just a sheet over the mattresses. For some reason the duvet covers hadn't been fully put on any of the duvets either. The duvets were also very thick for this time of year. We found crumbs in one of the bedside cabinet drawers. There were no locks on windows so theoretically our kids could have got out if they'd wanted to. 2) kitchen/dining area - crumbs on the table when we arrived. 3) utility area- rubber seal around the washing machine drum was extremely dirty, full of sludge and hair. Obviously not cleaned/maintained. 4) bathrooms- sink plugs not well fitted, and stopped water draining away. Had to keep unscrewing them with each use. Overall though, we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend a trehawks3 lodge for its comfort in the main, and space for children. The pool and changing area is lovely, and staff friendly. Lots of activities on site but we unfortunately didn't get chance to make use of as we were out a lot and kids are quite young for some of it. Onsite restaurant is very expensive for the poor quality food - basically ready meals on a plate. Very disappointed. I'd only go if desperate!. the rest of the facilities in the manor house (soft play, arcade etc) were enjoyed by our 4 year old, and the outside play area is fantastic. We will be back!
Lucy from Southampton (19 May 2017)

Food in restaurant very poor staff very good food quality very poor ate there once then ate at local pubs
Les from Minster Sheerness (08 May 2017)

We stayed in a heritage lodge which was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed.the only little niggle we had was the settees , they were the most uncomfortable I had ever sat on , which was a pity because it was the only thing that let the lodge down.we stayed in glade 17 which was abit over looked from the lodges surrounding it, but as we only really used it as a base we coped. Would stay again but maybe ask for a lodge on the perimeter road and not in the middle.
Shelia from Shropshire (06 May 2017)

Great place to stay clean caravan clean bedding and staff were brilliant
Nicole from Bideford (01 May 2017)

Fantastic place to stay. Rock and padstow only a short journey away. The resort itself is well looked after and very family friendly.
Wendy (28 April 2017)

Very enjoyable and very good value
Neil (28 April 2017)

Stayed in a bungalow which was very dated but comfortable. Shop times ought to be adjusted so that people have an opportunity to buy items after there check in as we found sixpm to early. Soft play was fairly small but onsite bar/restaurant was ideal for families
Laura (24 April 2017)

The location itself was beautiful. Just right for us grandparents, but alas we took our 2 grandaughters with us. ( not alas, because we had them with us, but the park was not very child friendly to them.) very dissappointed for them. I dont think the staff even knew they were there. It was easter holidays and I would have thought someone would have taken some time with them but no-one approached us at all. we ate in the restaurant/cafe the first evening we was there, never again. It was expensive and inedable. most things closed from 12-45 to 2, not good. On the whole I think we only saw 4 staff members all week. We pay enough in the easter time, would have expected a lot more consideration and time for the girls.
Jacqueline from Portsmouth (21 April 2017)

Caravan excellent, site had good facilities and was well located for getting around.
Pam (21 April 2017)

I don't normally write reviews but had to on this occasion as it was the best uk holiday we've had. The park setting and location is fantastic and the polzeath lodge we had was incredible. I would recommend the place to anyone will certainly be making a return
Jamie from Sutton Coldfield (21 April 2017)

We were pleased overall with the accommodation and location. However we were disappointed not to be allowed into our caravan when it was clear it was unoccupied before our arrival. With two young children, who had been travelling since 3am, being let into our caravan two hours earlier would have made a big difference.
Trevor from Leicestershire (21 April 2017)

Lovely park, nice and quiet. Entertainment at this park is average. Team were lovely but sadly their entertainment was hard to watch some nights. . needed to drive to get to beach as no/limited pavements on road. . caravan was excellent, clean and fully equiped. Kids enjoyed the pool activities. Shop well stocked apart from bread.
Danielle from Blackburn (14 April 2017)

Everything was fine. Lodge was excellent with all mod cons. The only suggestion would be music at the entertainment area in the evenings for familys.
Ghislaine from Coulsdon (14 April 2017)

Excellent situation, and the site was lovely and clean. . although a long travel time, cornwall is always worth it !
Gloria (10 April 2017)

Accommodation in the glade wonderful. Club house disgusting. Entertainment embarrassingly poor and cringe worthy. Pool staff and facilities good but in the pool very dirty, don't wear goggles and go under in you want to remain blissfully happy, you'll avoid seeing the plumes of hair and dirt.
Claire from Tiverton (08 April 2017)

Relaxing holiday just what we wanted
Paul from Hale (03 April 2017)

There was just me and my wife we felt great at this location every place we visited was very near to where we were located would recommend this holiday site to anyone
Peter from Co Durham (10 September 2016)

Had a wonderful time at st minver. The lodge was beautiful. My son enjoyed the swimming pool and the children's disco each night. He loved meeting sid and lizzie. . . it was a great base for day trips. We enjoyed lappa valley, newquay beach, padstow, camel trail. . . the one real complaint I have is the state of the duvets and pillows. I was really disappointed to find that every single duvet was lumpy and I could only find one pillow in the whole lodge that wasn't lumpy and I felt I could sleep on. Luckily my husband brought his own memory foam pillow. The bed wasn't comfy either. When you pay so much for a lodge and you spend half the time sleeping I hoped that more attention would be given to this area. As a slight minor complaint all the cushion covers on the sofa was stained and dirty and I don't think they had ever been washed. . . a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and st minver offered so much entertainment for my son. I just didn't sleep that well while I was there.
Rachel from Mountsorrel (10 September 2016)

Lodge was beyond fantastic we loved it!! food in the restaurant was horrendous but lovely food around the area. Swimming pool was lovely and warm and staff very polite
Kayleigh from Hampshire (09 September 2016)

Lovely settings and near to 3 beaches
Hayley from Burlescombe (03 September 2016)

Great park as a base for seeing cornwall
Karen (03 September 2016)

Our chalet was damp decor was 80s style not enough cupboard space or shelfs for clothes and toiletries. Surroundings were beautiful. Bar was expensive. Staff were very friendly. if money was put into revamping the chalets it could be lovely. just because we are dog lovers and wanted a holiday with our dog does not mean we want to live in a damp dingey place for two weeks. entertainment was very good.
Helen from Halifax (02 September 2016)

The accomadation was fantastic and a very high standard but the on site facilities looked a little tired.
Suzanne from Exeter (02 September 2016)

We stayed there during the last week of august. We needed a pet friendly accommodation and unfortunately there was only a 4 day break available for pets. . the lodge completely surpassed our expectations and was beautiful and spacious inside. . it was so peaceful too which was just what we wanted. None of us were ready to leave and all love to come back. . we didn't venture into the clubhouse preferring to spend our days on the beaches and spent quiet evenings in the lodge but it looked ok although in need of modernisation. . the crazy golf looked a little unloved but the kids love the play area. . the pool and shop close for lunch which we thought was a little odd and there was no slide in the pool. But the shop was well stocked and the staff friendly. . the park is in an excellent location and meant we travelled to different beaches every day. You definitely need a car here. . the wifi was poor but that's what we loved as it was a complete break! . lodge was the highlight! beautiful and tranquil!
Emma from Kent (02 September 2016)

Campsite was cramped but the park was great for younger children.
Hannah from Bolton (27 August 2016)

Nice and clean park. Lacking sports activities for children. 12 year end up swimming throughout the week.
Samuel from Loughborough/Leicestershire (13 August 2016)

Nice location but poor caravan quality but as we were not there much it didnt overly bother us. However paying 3x more a week due to school holidays is scandelous.
David from Yeovil (12 August 2016)

This is a lovely quiet site in a good location for visiting the surrounding area. if anyone wants more entertainment this this isn't for them. good for dog walks.
Liz from Bristol (12 August 2016)

Great location .caravan clean.clubhouse was repetative with same stuff every night
Steve (06 August 2016)

Lovely clean site and the caravan was clean and well equipt. very weak or non existent phone signal on the site. the manor house could be really nice but is in need of a lick of paint. lots to do near by, would have liked a local area guide in the welcome pack.
Martin from Croxley Green (06 August 2016)

The entertainment staff were extremely friendly. Lots of things to keep children occupied especially on wet days. The evening entertainment was varied and catered for everyone. The food onsite is a little overpriced. The park itself is very pleasant with plenty of walking trails. Pet friendly.
Paulette from Worcester (05 August 2016)

Overall a nice holiday, caravan could of been cleaner, were next to a stream and had lots of flies, location for sight seeing perfect, food and entertainment were average, so glad we were located away from the main facilities as very noisy at night.
Karen from Hertfordshire (05 August 2016)

Excellent location in cornwall for exploring man wonderful places. The park is set in a beautiful setting and maintained to a high standard. The lodges are really lovely and well equipped. We gave been twice now with our family.
James from Biggleswade (05 August 2016)

Poor accommodation . damp and cold. Directly out of sunlight under trees
Darren from Manchester (05 August 2016)

Had a lively stay at st minvers, will look to come back soon. Although would not pay the peak season/school holiday prices , glad we snuck in the week before and paid several hundred pounds less which made it good value for money.
Tobias from Bristol (30 July 2016)

We are regular visitors to cornwall but usually stay in a large house in st. Kew with lots of family. However this year we decided to go on our own and try the holiday park at st minver as that is close to all the places we love to visit!. we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the park and the elder caravan we stayed in was really lovely. Clean, comfortable and with all the necessary kitchen equipment. . the facilities on site were always in great condition and the indoor pool was a great addition for the rainy days! . the restaurant food was ok, but nothing to shout about. We enjoyed their takeaway option as the food was much cheaper but same as you'd be served in the restaurant. . we found all of the staff to be friendly and helpful. One tip I would offer is to use the laundry room to dry towels as they take ages in the limited space of the caravan.
Laura from Beccles (29 July 2016)

Fantastic time had by us all. everything we needed was there. Food could have been better in the restaurant, particularly the quality of the meat.
Gill from Marlborough (29 July 2016)

Lovely caravan. Site has plenty of facilities.
Rosalind from Fife (25 July 2016)

Lovely park, very convenient for most locations in cornwall. Clean, tidy and friendly with lovely walk into rock.
Teresa (25 July 2016)

It is not the best maintained site but it suited our needs perfectly. We just wanted a base to travel the area from that was clean. The shop on site is surprisingly well stocked with really good variety of foods. The takeaway was alright, nothing special. The evening entertainment was what I remember from when I was a child, my kids enjoyed it. The wifi was not available in the caravan, but maybe that was just the location as it was available up at the 'clubhouse'. if I was to return to the area, I would come back to this site.
Katrina from Stockport (23 July 2016)

St minver is a nice park but a little too isolated for us. we stayed in one of the lodges which was nice with plenty of space for the two of us plus 3 children. it could have been a bit cleaner though and I was surprised to find that the mattresses had no mattress covers. we went to the children's show which the children liked, and won prizes, and used the restaurant twice. the restaurant was okay but not fantastic, the food was as expected and priced about right. the whole of the manor house could do with a major face lift. the arcade room and the table tennis room were particularly shabby.
Samantha from Didcot (23 July 2016)

Lovely peaceful place to stay. The luxury lodge was amazing and had everything you could want in a home from home. the situation of the camp is near lots of different places so it's a good place to tour around from. We only went in the clubhouse one night and didn't like the entertainment at all. But apart from that everything was good.
Pauline from Colne (15 July 2016)

Perfect location. Plenty of places to visit in the car. Lovely lodge plenty of room. staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.
Happy (08 July 2016)

Nice quiet, peaceful location, with plenty of interesting places around to visit. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Jeffrey from Cheltenham (01 July 2016)

Had a wonderful week . the lodge was very clean and spacious we will definitely be back next year
Robert from Keswick (17 June 2016)

Arrived a bit early. Shattered, so went to bar as couldn't book in, we had a glass of wine each, was bloody awful, so never went back to the club house for the rest of our stay, found a little pub just up the road so went there each night, I don't often drink expensive wine but even I know rubbish, please, just upgrade it a little and make people feel they are not being ripped off because there is nowhere else to go, we found somewhere! the site is lovely, but the bar needs a bit of thinking about ( I am not an alcoholic, but I was on holiday!!!!)
Corinne from Ashford (Kent) (17 June 2016)

We stayed in a cedar 2 bed lodge and we were very pleased with our accommodation. It was large and comfortable and very clean. We had plenty of space, it was nice to have more space than we do at home. The park had everything we could possibly need. The shop was a little expensive but there are several supermarkets only a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again.
Rebecca from Northampton (11 June 2016)

Excellent quality accommodation as always. Lodge very clean on arrival and one item missing from the inventory was replaced straight away after contacting reception. . . quiet location but only a couple of miles from rock, some great pubs and restaurants nearby, pityme inn and rock inn especially recommended. . overall, a very relaxing park with accommodation provided by the lodges of a very high standard.
David from Nottingham (11 June 2016)

Come back most years, absolutely beautiful place!
Bryony from Evesham (10 June 2016)

We booked a chalet and a caravan. For our family. . we were happy with our accommodation. . the two staff members who ran the entertainment were very enthusiastic and worked hard to please. . the pool staff were very considerate as we had a child a health issues.
Michael from Dursley Glos (10 June 2016)

Great location and clean lodge. would definitely go again.
Gary from Bristol (03 June 2016)

David from Portsmouth (20 May 2016)

Upon arrival we found it very hard to find reception at first. This was due to 4/5 large caravans blocking the main reception and shope areas. We arrived at approximately 1.30pm and were told to come back at 4 as this was the minimum check in time. Absolutely absurd due to the camp being very quiet this time of year. A 4pm check in was not communicated to ourselves prior to arrival via email or otherwise. . the park itself was set in a lovely location and was clearly well maintained. The same could not be said for the caravan however. . the shop was well priced and the manager was lovely, always happy and willing to chat. . the main clubhouse from the outside looked terrible. In fact it didn't even look open. . we took our 2 year old daughter with us and she enjoyed the soft play, but the size of the building, surely it could be made much bigger. . the arcade machines were pretty basic and a few were broken. . the pool tables, dart board and table tennis table are in urgent need of replacing. Very old and battered. The room they were situated in was quite frankly disgusting. . the pool was way too cold for ourselves and although there was a children's pool, our daughter spent all of 5 minutes in there and wanted to get out as she was cold. . the food however was very good and the restaurant was clean and tidy. . the outdoor children's play area was ok but again needed some cleaning and maintenance. . shame really, as the park is set in a lovely area, though the club let it down majorly in a fair amount of aspects.

Great place, the site is spotlessly clean and I like all the recycling top marks for this site, nice clubhouse too, in a country mansioe

Although we went at the end of the season in november & all the facilitites were close, we loved the lodge we stayed in & to come home to in the evening. the area around padstow was fabulous, beaches were stunning. would certainly visit there again.

A beautiful place to stay in comfortable accommodation. The pool was great and it was nice to have a soft play area and activities for the children. Wifi coverage was not great and finding a quiet hot spot to use not possible. I would go again though as it's such a wonderful part of the world to go on holiday.

Mostly "things" went well. However, the explanation sheet for the central heating boiler, was for a different boiler than the one that was fitted, a trip switch was in a bedroom, not mentioned on the sheet. Without the use of this switch, the heating would not work. When I went to the reception to sort this matter out, I found that it didn't open until 9.00 am; and the only method of contacting the staff, was by mobile 'phone. This was of no use, as the area has very poor coverage, which prevented me from using this system. a simple exterior 'phone at reception would seem to answer this problem. . we only used the accommodation as a base so we did not use any of the facilities.
David from Blaina (23 October 2015)

It is a lovely park & is in an ideal base to visit the surrounding areas
Ivan from Merseyside (17 October 2015)

Trehawk lodge was really nice and comfortable. . would use again in the future.
Tim from Burton-On-Trent (16 October 2015)

Accommodation and facilities where great except for one thing. Because we where asked not to leave dogs alone in our accommodation we where unable to use the manor house or any of the resturants and bars because animals where not allowed inside.
Graham from Witheridge (16 October 2015)

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a week, we thought it was lovely. Not much on site facilities but would definitely go back for the lodge because it was gorgeous!
Leah from Nottinghamshire (16 October 2015)

Great park and lodge will be returning next year.
Stephen from Bristol (09 October 2015)

Facilities were terrible, avoid the restaurant as food is awful and over priced. Entertainment lasted 15mins before we were asked to leave as they were closing, and the on site shop closes really early. Although we have raised our issues with the st mincer management team and they were very apologetic and assured us they will be making changes.
Deanna from Somerset (05 October 2015)

We booked a week at st minver caravan park back at the end of september. We arrived on saturday afternoon to check in and were handed the keys to our caravan. When we entered the caravan we were shocked by the state and smell of the interior. On the table was a card with the name of the person who supposedly cleaned the caravan. The carpet in the main bedroom was absolutely filthy and stained, there were cobwebs all over the ceilings, the area above the cooker was covered in grease and the vent above the area was full of cobwebs. My wife even found a newspaper dating back to the 24th of august under one of the cushions. The windows were absolutely filthy and every single one was covered in cobwebs. . we went straight back to reception to make them aware of the problems and were told that someone would be over shortly, I also asked if they had an alternative only to be told that they were fully booked. Within 10 minutes someone turned up with a roll of paper towels and some cleaning spray to try and correct the problems..scrubbing thick grease with paper towels . the following day the windows were cleaned. Why wasn't the accommodation cleaned thoroughly and properly before being handed over to the customer ??? . would definitely not recommend let alone return
David (03 October 2015)

The trehawk lodge was beautifully laud out and kept and felt like a home away from home. The grounds are well maintained to making the whole setting relaxing and enjoyable. . the resturant menu was mych like a pub menu and had a decent range of food which was well cooked, I would recommend the vegetarian curry. I enjoyed it so much I had it twice! . the lady that seemed to run the shop was so friendly and had great suggestions of where to go in the local area. . the swimming pool is an adequate size, we went there everyday of our holiday and our daughter enjoyed every time. The only slight low point to our whole holiday was on our last day when one of the female lifeguards blew up a huge pool inflatable which our daughter got very excited about being able to play on and then 10 minutes later the male lifeguard refused to put it in the pool and deflated it causing quite a few tears from our daughter. . on the whole we had a great time and felt completely relaxed when we got home.
Bernadette (03 October 2015)

Quiet location. Good location.
Danielle from Trowbridge (25 September 2015)

Lovely week spent at st minver. Stayed in a lodge which was very spacious and luxurious. Ate out in the restaurant a few times, food was good and reasonably priced. Entertainment for children was good and kept my son amused in the evenings. Nice quiet park, a good base for exploring cornwall.
Nicola from Westcliff On Sea (21 September 2015)

The park is clean and tidy but far too quiet for us.if you live in a city and yearn for peace and quiet then this is the place for you.the bar is very expensive and when we visited there was just a handful of people in there watching football. I will not visit or recommend this park.
Amy from Swindon (18 September 2015)

We enjoyed our short break at st. Minver the caravan was clean, comfortable and well equipped
Margaret (14 September 2015)

Very pleasant stay, staff were brilliant with our grandson (staying in different chalet) always polite. First morning visited by cleaning supervisor, who had one or two minor, ie light and bath seal fixed that day. Will be stay again next year but in a different location. Once again many thanks. Js.
