Very enjoyable break in lovely peaceful setting. Lodge was very clean and well equipped.
Stephen from Sutton Surrey (11 December 2017)

Lovely park unfortunately I have mobility issues and there was only a bath with shower over also it was a long way from the shop and facilities felt a bit isolated
Jean from Tadley (11 December 2017)

Amazing holiday amazing park amazing facility's. We will be back
Sophie (04 December 2017)

Fab location and cute cabin for two people. The only issue we had was the heating was not on when we arrived and we struggled to get it going and it took ages to heat up the cabin - beginning of december so did expect heat when we arrived after dark! also the pillows were rock hard - usually you get a choice of soft and hard but we didn't.
Miranda from Shepperton (04 December 2017)

Went at the very end of the season so understandably lots of outside facilities closed. But inside facilities were nice and well looked after. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Rebecca from Plymouth (01 December 2017)

The holiday we enjoyed very much but we were disappointed on arrival that we had no towels in our lodge we have been on many lodge holidays before including to your park but have never known this to happen before , it seemed very unusual for us to not have towels included in with the holiday we had to hire towels which costs £6 per person .
Jacqueline from Bognor Regis (27 November 2017)

Such a great little place to have a nice break with the family. Even when the numbers of people were low the staff made a massive effort for everyone
Shaun from Bristol (27 November 2017)

Excellent location and facilities.
Angela (24 November 2017)

Staff helpful and friendly, all knowledgeable. Maintenance staff were stealthy, hardly saw them but things were kept immaculately clean and topped up throughout our stay.
Elizabeth from London (20 November 2017)

Had a lovely time. a great park close to the beach with everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean with everything, even a dishwasher. A pint of milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise which rounded it off nicely.
Cheryl from Chelmsford (20 November 2017)

Excellent holiday would go back again and entertainment team were fantastic with my daughter
Lyndsay (18 November 2017)

Lovely place to stay. Outstanding caravan.
Teresa from Barry (18 November 2017)

Lovely few days break in the new forest. As it was off season it was rather quiet which suited us. Great base to explore the coastla area and new forest.

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay and loved the hot tub.
Caroline from Leatherhead (13 November 2017)

Overall great stay, surprised at how little there was for young children and bar food was poor but we were happy to cook. Swimming pool great and staff friendly

Mark (10 November 2017)

The only issue we had was the 30 minutes late start of the wednesday kids disco which we had eaten early and waited for but had to leave as it started.

Last minute deal worked great spur of the moment a few miles down the road. Thank you

Carol from Worcester (06 November 2017)

Excellent long weekend, perfectly placed on the south coast, we will certainly be back.
Derek from Doncaster (06 November 2017)

Lodge was excellent, staff on reception really helpful and always happy. Swimming pool excellent but some of the tiles were lose and my husband and son both caught their toes on them.
Lyn from Thatcham (06 November 2017)

Excellent, relaxing, perfect for a couple who are getting older
Sarah from Fareham (03 November 2017)

Relaxing comfortable enjoyable will go back
Stephen (03 November 2017)

Stayed off peak and so the actual accommodation cost was very reasonable. Caravan was very nice. The location of the park for exploring both the coast and the new forest is excellent. The entertainment and facilities for the kids is very good but drinks are very expensive so we didn't go out every night
Kevin (03 November 2017)

A nice little cabin. Had everything we needed as a base for cycling in the new forest.
Klara (30 October 2017)

Enjoyable stay
Matt from Newbury (30 October 2017)

The beds are rock hard.. couldn't sleep on them every one of us from 19-50 woke up in pain... such a shame as the park is beautiful and spotless.. therefore couldn't stay again as we couldn't sleep
Julie from Southport (28 October 2017)

Disappointed really dog mess everywhere..trod in it twice... cabin smelt of dogs to..
John from Birmingham (27 October 2017)

The site was beautiful but our accomadation was very poor and filthy for the price we paid just because we have dogs does not make us filthy. the pool particularly the changing areas were filthy. When mentioned to the receptionist on front desk the manager turned her back on us which I felt was rude and not taking responsibility as a manager. The staff in the bar and restaurant area seemed very strectched which possibly affects the cleanliness. The shop was lovely and the staff very helpful.
Sarah (27 October 2017)

Comfortable and warm lodge. With everything you need for a holiday.
Anne from Surrey (27 October 2017)

A great location. Lovely site with plenty to see and do.
Annette from Gillingham.Kent (27 October 2017)

Lovely half term break, nice site with good facilities and lots to do around the area
James from Oxford (27 October 2017)

We found that the hot tub could have been bigger as there were 12 of us
Ron from Hornchurch Essex (20 October 2017)

Great location with a child, plenty to do in surrounding area & the swimming pool was a bonus on a rainy afternoon. Hot tub was great and checked every morning by staff. We had a lodge which we were very happy with- clean, spacious & all the facilities we needed.
Lal from Hot Tub Was Great And Checked Every Morning By Sta (20 October 2017)

Great for a cheap, winter get away, park facilities were great. Also excellent for dogs. Short walk to the beach and the new forest a short drive away.
Kim from Tamworth (20 October 2017)

Nice location , fantastic caravan .
Ian (20 October 2017)

The holiday was nice but due to the facility change of our accommodation the location was very disappointing. we were ask to change accommodation and was not told it was next to a building work facilities with cars, vans and lorries moving in and out of the facility early mornings and evenings causing it being very noisy with heavy traffic.
Gail from Dudley (14 October 2017)

Excellent site, staff and accomodation
Stephen from Royal Wootton Bassett (14 October 2017)

Great location & good for the dogs. Nice clean lodge
Sally from Kent (13 October 2017)

Very helpful and friendly staff. Children’s entertainment staff. Very good. . lovely clean and comfortable . accomadation. We will book again.
Linda from Guildford (13 October 2017)

Food was not great, however a relaxing break in lovely surroundings, clean and comfy lodge. Staff really helpful and happy
Andrew (09 October 2017)

It was nice. Lodges a bit closer than I would have liked, felt a bit overlooked. We were a family group and next to a lodge where they were a bit livelier which wasn't ideal. Facilities were good, but felt a little pricey for what we got. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Anne from Dorchester (09 October 2017)

We would have liked more signs around the park to direct us to the beach at milford-on-sea. The map given by reception was quite difficult to read.
Anthony from Salisbury (06 October 2017)

Beautiful lodge could not fault anything
Patricia from Heywood (06 October 2017)

Accommodation starting to look outdated areas around shower rooms and toilets not particularly well cleaned, found lodge got cold at night and living room fire not heating room up as radiators in living area seemed to be switched off, unable to use main bar area on saturday night as a private wedding was going on had to sit in kids entertaining area so went off site for evening
David (02 October 2017)

Was so very pleased with our caravan, the only down side was we were in warren park and it had a lot of trees around the van and it blocked out the sun a bit and leaves were constantly dropping on the veranda would definitely want our next stay at the top of the site
David from Rayleigh (30 September 2017)

Some of the food was very poor quality in the restaurant tides bar, awful processed meat burgers and could tell some of the food was microwaved and not fresh, apart from that a great stay, a perfect location and the cabin was of a high quality
Craig from Portsmouth (30 September 2017)

Lovely location and although basic we knew it would be and it suited us .
Jennifer from South (29 September 2017)

Peaceful budget holiday with plenty to do both onsite and in the surroundings
Ben from Felixstowe (29 September 2017)

Very clean site .polite and pleasant people. Reception staff are very helpful . very good facilities and good entertainment for kids . . very good location .
Abdel (29 September 2017)

Booked a signature lodge with hot tub and sauna. Really lovely and relaxing. Although quite a large site our location was very peaceful. Good facilities on site and staff very pleasant.
Pauline from Pinner (29 September 2017)

Lovely place, lodge was clean and had everything you needed! was a nice family break
Chloe from Reading (25 September 2017)

Stayed in a signature lodge 1 and absolutley loved it already booked another one.
Jamie from London (25 September 2017)

Great place. Fantastic for families.
Jessica from Coventry (25 September 2017)

Great holiday park that was nice and quiet. The staff were fantastic, especially the shop staff. The log cabin was nice and really loved the hot tub. I would say for improvement have more information in the log cabin, for example, contact info, info on pizza menu and entertainment etc. Also maybe more hints on site re a crazy golf or other outside entertainment.
Gemma (23 September 2017)

Good midweek break visited hurst castle and beaulieu musuem
Karen from Birmingham (22 September 2017)

Good place to stay with 2 young children. Plenty to do at the park and nearby.
Helen from Alton (22 September 2017)

Was very relaxing
Julie from Ashford (22 September 2017)

Some of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful but I was disappointed with the attitude of others who seemed to be disinterested. . perhaps it was end of season blues but it made both me and my family 'unwanted'. . parking was difficult and a member of staff who informed me I was incorrectly parked did so in a very unfriendly (cannot say impolite) way.
Anon (22 September 2017)

Great location and accommodation was very nice and clean
Jon from Chessington (22 September 2017)

Very relaxing break. Nice walks. Dog friendly.
Pauline from Lancing West Sussex (22 September 2017)

Great accommodation, not great location for dinner if you have a pet. Not well marked and felt stuck out the way, dark and unwelcoming. Gym was very good, bit much charging for an induction, I use gyms in hotels all over the world without a problem. Liability issue perhaps? entertainment didn't look appealing so didn't bother but didn't need it
Andy from Ashford (22 September 2017)

The van was very nice and clean but it was under an oak tree and the acorns dropping on the van roof made a lot of noise
Bernard from Northampton (16 September 2017)

Really w joyed it, nice chalet very clean, lovely peaceful surroundings..
Gillian from Bognor Regis (15 September 2017)

Our caravan was amazing. Location brilliant, especially for me with mobility problems. cannot wait to go back!
Myra from Sittingbourne (15 September 2017)

The facilities and grounds were very clean and smart. I was expecting more space around the lodge that we stayed in. Some of the doors did not close properly which was a bit of a problem with 16month old twins.
Linda from Matlock (09 September 2017)

We had a great short break with our pre school age children and parents. The holiday home was equipped with everything we could possibly need and we loved the pool. Great base for exploring the new forest.
Frances from Ashford (08 September 2017)

Excellent base for visiting new forest
Sarah (04 September 2017)

Great for kids, a little overpriced in the summer holidays but fantastic break
Nicola (04 September 2017)

My husband and I (and the dog) had a great time in the signature cottage, the cottage itself was lovely and the hot tub was a great extra.it comes with its own private garden which was a lot bigger than expected it was really quite large.. we didn't use any of the facilities on the site apart from the restaurant where we could take the dog in whilst we had dinner.you can walk from the site to the cliffs and along which is nice.overal a great holiday and would definitely recommend the cottage!
Sally from Essex (04 September 2017)

The fridge/freezer in the lodge could have done with being much bigger. The hot tub was brilliant, i'm glad we played extra for it. The indoor swimming pool was lovely and clean with good changing facilities. I would have to say that the outdoor swimming pool area needs a revamp. Especially the toilets and changing area
James from Norwich (01 September 2017)

Great park. Nice people helpful stafff if needed. No issues at all.
Mark (01 September 2017)

Beautiful location and first impression of the park as you drive in was lovely. Such a disappointment to get unhelpful staff on front desk, bar staff lovely and food was really well cooked. Both pools were untidy on our visits but both a good size and setting of outdoor was lovely with little kiosk and playpark next to it. Extra charge for use of tennis court and football court meant not the usual mixing of the holiday children's and no ball games allowed anywhere and no open spaces for the children to all get together and play. Playpark by pool nice but other down by reception very small. Good park to use as a base to go out but wouldn't stay again if intending to use he park.
Dawn from Tunbridge Wells (01 September 2017)

Very good holiday
Janet from Sittingbourne Kent (01 September 2017)

We are a family of four who have recently returned from mon- fri stay in one of youe standard caravans . really happy with the location of the park , facilities and amenities. Our caravan was nicely furnished and fully equipped . using the site shop , restaurant and bar, indoor pool and outside play areas during our stay . . our only complaints would be the maintenance of the outdoor areas, bins overflowing with rubbish that were not emptied for the duration of our stay . lack of parking around accommodation.
Corinne from High Wycombe (01 September 2017)

What a wonderful site and a perfect location.. I can't recommend this highly enough!
Peter from Newark (28 August 2017)

We paid thousands for a signature lodge with hot tub. Beds like hardboard and kitchen tiny with limited space for food. Facilities outdated and unclean. Arcade machines constantly breaking down and staff rude and unhelpful. Noisy neighbours kept us up until early hours kids screaming. Would not return!
Carlie from Kent (28 August 2017)

Lovely park great lodge had a great time
Michaela from Hemel Hempstead (28 August 2017)

Great weekend caravan first class excellent!!
Janice from Petersfield (28 August 2017)

Shorefield is a great site with plenty to do and the location gives easy access to a wide variety of places and attractions to visit.
Andrew from Burton On Trent (25 August 2017)

Lovely place, very peaceful and quiet, lodge with hot tub is amazing, very well equipped and comfortable. Swimming pool is good, could do with a slide. Food in restaurant was lovely, prices very reasonable, amusements good and lots of bars, good shop and the outdoor swimming pool was awesome in hot weather! would definitely go again- just needs a few more activities for kids on site.
Lorraine from Bedford (25 August 2017)

Lovely park, well maintained.
Kenneth from Pontefract (25 August 2017)

Lovely base
Linda (25 August 2017)

Just live shorefields. Coming back again in two weeks. Did have to upgrade though to get to bathrooms /ensuite.
Debbie from Brighton (25 August 2017)

Had a fantastic week, and the children loved it, the entertainment was fantastic and we had a good laugh every night, the staff we so friendly and helpful and the accommodation was great!
Gemma from Chatham (25 August 2017)

We stayed in a chalet as did our daughter.expected basic for the price but was disappointed at the state.bathroom files were extremely mouldy as was the area behind the loo.water marks on the ceiling and a smell of urine in ours in the main bedroom.black mould at the back of the sink and the hob did not work.we left our chalets in a better state than our arrival.however our son stayed in a caravan which was excellent.the kids had a great time which was good.its a nice site some of the accomodation is well past its sell by date,ie chalets!
Michael from Devon (25 August 2017)

The accommodation was good. We had four adults and four children and it was fine. The hot tub was checked each day. We had a problem with the sauna which was dealt with very well.
Fiona from Yateley (25 August 2017)

Caravan was dirty on arrival had to ask for it to be cleaned. Not much near the park. The beach is further than expected. Indoor swimming pool caters for their gym and spa clients making children feel unwelcome so your stuck in the outdoor pool which is a lot colder than they say it is and given the lifeguards don't seem to enforce the rules, it's a little dangerous for smaller children.
Michael from Leeds (25 August 2017)

Lovely caravans, great swimming pool and play areas for the kids. Close to woods and the beach
Andrew from Essex (21 August 2017)

Our lodge was in a secluded area , only down fall, no' 22 left outside light on all night,. so our room was like daylight all night, did not see them through day, was back there late at night. Maybe have a sign up to to turn of lights to save energy ?. the restaurant was very good, lovely meals and helpful staff, over our week stay. was hoping to return at christmas 2017, but fully booked ! . maybe 2018
Diane from Kent (21 August 2017)

Brilliant holiday and great location to visit other places
Lee from Purfleet Easex (21 August 2017)

The chalet that we stayed in was very shabby. We knew that we were not booking a luxury lodge because the price for that was sky high for a 3 day break, but the bathroom had mildew, the kitchen very basic and shabby, as was the furniture.
Stephen (21 August 2017)

New caravan. Very well equipped
Gary from Stafford (21 August 2017)

We had a lovely stay and although we didn't make much use of the facilities apart from the indoor pool, we were only staying for 3 nights in the summer holidays, they all seemed fine.
Anna from Sutton, Surrey (21 August 2017)

Lovely relaxed park
Stephen (19 August 2017)

Great park very peaceful area lovely walks
Michael from Hertfordshire (19 August 2017)

Good stay, would love to stay again next year but cannot believe how much the price has increased. It will not be good value for money
Natasha from Reading (19 August 2017)

Good value. Lovely area & very central
Helen (19 August 2017)

Lodge looked a bit tired for the price stayed in better for less money
Helen (19 August 2017)

Having reported to staff that we had paid for 5 units 4 times in 2 days..2 lodges and 3 caravans, and we had problems in 2 of them we got no response whatsoever, we were disgusted. Bread left in a toaster in a van and our lodge stank of damp and urine. We had a party with 3 adults with learning disabilitis and some physical which was flagged up when booking, they put us in 2 lodges with a 1 in 2 steep path to get everyone down. There was also no street lighting or lighting on the paths down. I left phone numbers and called in 4 times . the shower flooded all over the bathroom and had to be mended and they sent a cleaner with disinfectant to get rid of smell!!. the lodge was rotting and the bedding smelled of old urine at a cost of 1800. No attempt has been made to compensate
Brian from Huddersfield (18 August 2017)

We chose this venue due to it's high level of facilities & location to the new forest & the beach. We were quite impressed with the site & it's facilities although we felt it could really benefit for an indoor soft play area for those rainy days. The indoor pool was very clean but we were on a 45 min time limit during busy times. There didn't seem to have to be a huge amount of people in there for them to consider it busy though. The outdoor pool was clearly much older but very popular on those warm sunny days although the changing rooms were very much in need of an update. Staff were always very friendly & helpful & the food available in the restaurant was surprisingly good. They could do with a better range of ales in the bar areas though. All in all a very enjoyable 5 day break with the only negative moment being made by a bunch of noisy teenagers in one of the play parks at 21.30pm one evening. Security eventually moved them on thankfully.
Andy from Eastbourne (18 August 2017)

Shorefield park is a lovely place to stay. You can walk to the beach and are minutes away from lovely walks in the new forest. Pools and play areas great for kids and families. Our caravan though standard was of great quality. Have also stayed in lodges previously and they are spacious and great for families. Lots of activities for all and a very handy shop with fresh croissants on site. A small lake on site which is great for fishing - even beginners
Matt from Croydon (18 August 2017)

We stayed in one of the signature lodges with a hot tub and sauna. this was very expensive and the cost did not reflect at all the condition and facilities available in the lodge. the most appalling find was the washing machine - it must have been 15 years old! the spin didn't work unless you turned it on and off three times. . the lodge we stayed in also had no sun during the day. the trees and hedging at the back was entirely overgrown and thus there was no sun on the veranda areas during the day. Very disappointing. . the lighting in the bedrooms was also very disappointing. the lights were either bright lights on or off. no bedside lamps, so no relaxing reading in bed and no side light in the childrens bedroom either. literally just very bright lights on or off. . the gym is well equipped, but its very old. it really needs a bit of money spent on it. . lastly, the receptionists don't really seem to know much. a quick phone call when we arrived to find out where the instructions to the washing machine were kept. No clue whatsoever. we had to wait half an hour for a call back. . . to pay for the most expensive lodge, it really is lacking in hospitality. we had just come from a lovely place in devon where, on arrival we found, tea bags, milk, biscuits, washing up liquid. Just a few essentials to get you started. minimal cost, but very much appreciated.
Nicola (18 August 2017)

We all enjoyed the break ,especially the kids.facilities were ok,could do with a larger indoor pool to save time in the busy periods
Barry from Epsom (18 August 2017)

Enjoyed the four day break ,kids loved the outdoor pool .the four bedroom lodge was well equipped and big enough.we were prob the furthest away from the reception area as we could be and found the walk back at night not very well lit at all .the service at the sunday carvery was not very good but the food was fine .long wait for drinks at the bar
Valerie from Dover ,Kent (14 August 2017)

Had a good time, but it was a long walk to the swimming pools, shop etc. I thought there would be more play parks for the kids, but again they were a long walk. Overall a good time was had by the kids, and they loved the disco.
Ruth from Winchester (14 August 2017)

Wonderful relaxing site. Great location for visiting the new forest, isle of wight etc
Nicola from Bedfordshire (12 August 2017)

The park itself is clean and tidy and there is lots to do if you want to. Thought the lodge although comfortable was a bit tired in decoration and was quite expensive with that in mind. Parking was not always easy. One thing which wasn't great was that there was no field to take my grandchildren to, to kick a ball or play any ball games
Barry from Ashford, Surrey (12 August 2017)

We had a fabulous holiday at shorefueld . the weather was not good but it did not spoil our holiday . our lodge was first class , everything catered for . the staff at shorefield were all exceptional . we will definitely visit again and hopefully we will have better weather
Jackie from Frome (11 August 2017)

The property we stayed in was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pools were great. Restaurant terrible. Playground had good equipment but was in a cage and looked like an inner city playground - why is it not in the trees in the forrest? location good for exploring area, going to beach etc.
Uri from London (11 August 2017)

A fabulous family holiday, fully equipped lodges, polite helpful staff, great food. Would definitely recommend
Supergran from Chichester (11 August 2017)

First time staying at shorefield with the family and had a fantastic time. Lodge was well equipped and attractions are not far away
Charles from Corby (11 August 2017)

The lodge was lovely, there were four or us in an eight berth lodge so we had plenty of space. We particularly loved the hot tub!
Jan from Bognor (11 August 2017)

Four generations holidayed at shorefield. First impressions excellent, large site, well managed and well maintained. reception staff professional and friendly. easily found our lodge, which was spacious and bedrooms had been set up as requested, hot tub was ready for use. all crockery and utensils we could possibly need had been provided. the only slight gripe was the settees were a little uncomfortable and the outside decking could have been a little larger as it was difficult to seat everyone around the table. there are little signs of wear and tear and age to the unit we had, but it is to be expected and didn't detract from our holiday. The entertainment worked very long hours and they can certainly sing, the queen tribute show was excellent. our grandson enjoyed the pirate treasure hunt too. The site is ideally located for trips out to an area with lots of places of interest. there is an abundance of places to eat, including a chinese take away which we had one night. we also made use of the barbecue which was provided and we used the sites own restaurant twice, on both occasions the food was served in a timely manner and of a good quality. the staff worked very hard to try to please everyone. We didn't use the indoor pool as there was a time limit and booking system in place, but we used the outdoor pool twice as the weather was lovely. The spar shop onsite was useful for fresh bread, milk and those little items we had forgotten. We were sad to go home as we had all enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to all of our friends.
Carol from Northwich (07 August 2017)

It was a shame that check in was at 4 and there was no exception to this. we'd travelled from east yorkshire for 6 hours with 2 young children and when we arrived at 3.10 we were told that we couldn't have they key yet. The excuse was that it hadn't been cleaned but having waited at the caravan for the remaining 50 minutes no cleaners appeared. When we eventually got the key the caravan was already clean. . . we came to visit family who live close by so the caravan was only a base for us to sleep. One evening before my children went to bed, we went to use the football pitch for them to have a kick around, only to be told that it was chargeable. We used no other facilities that weekend (swimming, clubhouse etc) so felt that to charge for this especially when the price of our caravan for the weekend was expensive was grossly unfair.
Richard from Hull (07 August 2017)

Vera good!
Els from Enschede (07 August 2017)

Had a lovely stay as a family of 4. Had no issues on our stay. Caravan was lovely, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the evening entertainment was good for the kids. Swimming pools indoors and outdoors were great. Best thing for us was location too had lots of fun visiting beaches and the new forest.
Siobhan (07 August 2017)

Had a lovely family holiday would recommend the park ,the pool was a big hit with the children as was the play areas
Nadine from Long Sutton (05 August 2017)

Lovely clean park. Helpful staff.
Miriam from Kent (05 August 2017)

Slightly disappointed in the limited stock at the bar-some guest ales and something other than pinot grigio would be nice!. site is very nice and was very quiet.
Rosemarie from Ongar Essex (04 August 2017)

Lovely place disappointing that the out door pool was closed nice location facilities a little bit dated food okay staff very helpful entertainment a bit cheesy
Jane from Stoke On Trent (04 August 2017)

The site offered a relaxed base , with good facilities , close. To the beach .
Richard (04 August 2017)

I booked 2 houses: the 1st one for my son, girlfriend and us 2, the 2nd for our daughter with her husband and 3 small children. We decided it would be exhausting to all stay in one house, as they wake up at the crack of dawn!the houses, furnishings and location were lovely. It was unbelievably expensive but we booked them as we wanted facilities for the children. We booked in january and the only houses available were with 4 bedrooms which increased the price too, as 3 bedrooms would have been enough. . we were in ambleside 7 and 10. The outside pool and playground were right at the other end of the park so it took a good 20 minutes to walk there which was very impractical with small children. The restaurant, indoor pool etc were 15 minutes away on foot. We hadn't expected the park to be so large and had assumed wrongly, that everywhere would be easy to reach on foot. . . the indoor pool had a limit of 45 minutes which was a pity, as it rained a lot so we would have liked to spend longer in the water .there were too few facilities for the size of the park. At least 2 outdoor pools would have been necessary, more playgrounds, a larger indoor pool and more than one restaurant. . the children's morning activities were good and well organized.the evening kiddies disco and games were rather late for small children. The shows were very amateur compared to others we've seen, but the same people were responsible for all the activities! some of our party enjoyed the bingo which was on every evening. My son who works in the sports field, was impressed by the gym. . we've been to centerparks where the facilities, number of restaurants, and of course, enormous indoor pools with slides etc can't be compared to what was on offer for a similar price. In addition, no cars are permitted there whereas at shorefield you slways had to watch out for traffic.
Kristine from Cologne Germany (31 July 2017)

The staff were friendly, pool was nice, shop was expensive. The evening entertainment as poor and the bar looked a little dated. . . could do with a few more facilities which are newer. . some lovely bars and pubs nearby whilst it was quite easy to get to other venues
Paul from Lincoln (31 July 2017)

The caravan was new and perfectly comfortable for a week's holiday. The holiday park is quite big and spread out which meant that our 10 & 7 year old didn't have the freedom they've had in smaller touring/camping sites. The facilities were good although the food in the restaurant was disappointing.
Kate (31 July 2017)

Overall I enjoyed the location and the roomy lodge..my only bad experience was in the piazza takeaway..poorly organised, disjointed delivery resulting in some of the food being cold..
Michael from Chesterfield (29 July 2017)

Expensive for what it was, entertainment was mediocre. We had pizza one night, paid £8 for what was actually a tescos value pizza as we saw the packaging in the bin.
Phillippa from Fleet (28 July 2017)

The lodge was fine but the facilities were very poor, wanted a pizza one night and it was shut the next night waited well over an hour for our pizzas then we heard them say they ran out of pizza bases, there was no change available for the children's penny arcade, they advertise discounted tickets for poltons park, when I asked for 6they only had 4left, and all this in the first week of the school holidays, first rainy day wanted to take the children swimming , had to wait 15 minutes to get in and only got an hours swim .on our last night the restaurant ran out of peas no alternative was offered . for a small function room the speakers were up very loud only used it once for this reason, so overall very poor.
Janet from Hertfordshire (28 July 2017)

Great site in a great location, close to the beach and the new forest.
Claire from Sheerness (28 July 2017)

Very helpful staff
Andrew (28 July 2017)

Great holiday. Our caravan was fab:-)
Tim (22 July 2017)

We had a lovely holiday, the site was lovely with good amenities and nice and quiet and relaxing
Rebecca from Leicester (22 July 2017)

A lovely cabin, positioned close to site amenities yet peaceful. Would definitely recommend.
Colin from Worthing (17 July 2017)

Very impressed with the new caravans, very comfortable, will definitely be back again. Thanks shorefield
Adrian from Kidderminster (17 July 2017)

Really enjoyed our stay, very good play area for v young chdn. No toaster in accommodation. Clean and tidy and good space. Was a little worried about my toddler being able to open window himself and door himself as no key needed from inside. Swim facilities nice
Jessica from Bristol (17 July 2017)

Brilliant last minute short break.
Naomi from Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh (17 July 2017)

Nice accommodation . clean. Bbq facilities poor.not suitable. Fridge too small. Hot tub could be on longer. Again clean. Enjoyed my stay
Toni from Essex (17 July 2017)

The park is located in one of the nicest areas of the new forest which is a great place to visit and you are conveniently located to explore. The park is set in beautiful countryside and close to the beach and was in excellent order throughout our caravan was a standard but was of a good standard which was the case throughout the site the staff were all friendly and helpful at all times we will come back was worth the 480 mile trip.
Stephen from Stenhousemuir (15 July 2017)

Lovely position surrounded by mature trees, chalet basic and could do with an upgrade, but for the price would not complain. Everything you needed, nice clean comfortable bed, shower room (tiles could do with deep clean), good, well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge/diner.
Denis from Margate (14 July 2017)

The caravan was too small for a family of four, the chef onsite was taking 45 minutes to turn food around (not great for toddlers), bar staff were slow at serving, we reported a fault with the tv and were advertised it the caretaker would pop in. He never did. There was also a 24 hour power cut. The electrician took 24 hours to find a circuit fault. We weren't advised there was an outside play area when we checked in and the private swimming lessons for non residents were restricting the children from playing/swimming.
Clare from London (14 July 2017)

The cottage was beautiful very modern and clean fantastic huge enclosed garden perfect for my pets, absolutely the nicest accommodation i've stayed in with pets, hot tub very clean, can't fault it. Amazing place we will defiently be back .
Gary from Oxford (14 July 2017)

Lovely holiday park with great facilities
Kirsteen (14 July 2017)

Lovely lodge lovely siteeverything you need for aperfect holiday with our dog
Patricia from Derby (10 July 2017)

Great place , great staff , great accomadation would definatley go back
Jessica (10 July 2017)

Got a cabin with a dishwasher but it did not work. trying to clean up after 7 people 3 times a day takes up a lot of time. they did not care.
Hp (10 July 2017)

We had a great time. Cabin could do with a bit of updating in terms of decor. Next year we would have to go away at peak time and the price we would have to pay for that cabin then would be totally ridiculous. I think it was on the expensive side in july so very little chance of us coming back unless you have more realistic pricing for school holidays.
