We stayed the week before the local school holidays so was well priced
Karen from Perth (07 October 2016)

Caravan floor was not cleaned properly. Swimming room changing rooms were very dirty & of a poor standard. Need more baby & family facilities. Life guard seemed very hung over both times we visited pool. Show bar needed a good clean.
Lauren from East Kilbride (23 September 2016)

Great time thank you
Robert from Sheffield (09 September 2016)

We enjoyed our holiday very much. My grandchildren especially liked the den building, fencing and the boats in the swimming pool
Eunice from Ashington (22 August 2016)

We had a lovely time, the caravan was very clean and comfortable. the only issue we had was with the gas running out early on, but it was dealt with quickly and efficiently, with a friendly smile. this is the second time we have come and would recommend to everybody!
Julie from Oxfordshire (12 August 2016)

Better if they had more entertainment for adults family bar more seating rest was good
Andrew (12 August 2016)

Brilliant, exactly what I was expecting, but better.
Helena (08 August 2016)

It was amazing, I want to book and stay in the glof village again fabulous time
Anna from Chesterfield (05 August 2016)

Loved this little site x everything we needed for a relaxing holiday great bus service to edinburgh and surrounding areas staff were friendly. Very clean park was really impressed
Christine from Wigan (30 July 2016)

This is our 2nd year and enjoyed it as much as the first
Susan from Newton Stewart (22 July 2016)

We loved the caravan, the location and the site. . we have booked for next year, while we were still enjoying this holiday. We can't wait to come back
Karen from Aberdeen (22 July 2016)

Very disappointed with the swimming pool - in need of a refurbishment. the changing rooms were dirty and hardly large enough to accommodate everyone. only one shower would work at one time. when another shower was used, the water supply would dwindle - not the best when you are shampooing a child's hair and can't get water to rinse! the pool itself was dirty also, numerous debris floating around. we didn't use the pool again, once was enough.
Pauline (22 July 2016)

Loved our family hollie xxxx
Carol from Port Glasgow (22 July 2016)

When we arrived everything looked fine. The caravan we got was dirty, no water and quite disillutioned with the prospects of an adventure with the grandchildren. I complained and was assured that the caravan would be cleaned and water restored. This was to be done when we gave a time, however, before we got back to the caravan the cleaner was in. The difference was amazing, however, still no water.
Theresa from Dumfries (22 July 2016)

I would still go back
Thaomas (18 July 2016)

Park was very tidy. used the restaurant several times and the food was good value for money. swimming pool was very busy (school holidays) and it was a bit of a faff trying to get kids ready in a small locker room. other than that no complaints.
Customer 16 from Aberdeen (18 July 2016)

Great last minute break with family of 4 and 2 grandparents. caravan was practically brand new and plenty space for us. Beds really comfy and vertical quiet at night so good sleep for all. Didn't use facilities much ventured out the site to north berwick 15 mins away and edinburgh 30mins drive away.
Gavin from Glasgow (18 July 2016)

Caravan was dirty inside and towels and a toaster were left outside front door on step forgoten by cleaners.
Garry from Oban (22 April 2016)

From arrival to departure this was a very good experience. Very efficient & friendly staff & a well presented park. . entertainment & facilities just right for the park. . only possible downside was the quality of the fish & chips from the site shop, however, the food in the bar was excellent.

We paid a lot of money for nothing really spectacular. although a good location right next to the beach it's pointless if it's raining. Seton sands offered a few things for the kids, but nothing at all for the adults but to eat and drink. The entertainment was cheesy and cringeworthy and boring and dull, the amusements meant you spent even more money. . I wasn't impressed, I didn't think it was value for money at all, I could have spent less money and had a better time spending the day on portobello promenade. I won't be back a second time.

We had a really nice holiday. swimming pool was good but showers were poor. club house was good but dance floor far too small for lots of children. restaurant was good, food enjoyable. crazy golf not very good but complex itself very nice and clean. my children had a ball.
Lorna from Glasgow (12 October 2015)

Great place to explore edinburgh and locality
Carol from Briton Ferry (03 October 2015)

Everything was great, our caravan was lovely and staff were nice throughout our stay. Only bad thing was the sunday carvery, it was awful with not a lot to offer and extremely soggy veg but we will just steer clear of that when we return. All other food from the restaraunt was lovely!
Ashleigh from East Kilbride (28 September 2015)

The caravan we stayed in was amazing.
Sharon from Stockport (25 September 2015)

The site was smaller than expected and the facilities were limited compared to craig tara
Mary (25 September 2015)

Caravan superior did not have central heating which was disappointing. Swimming facilities difficult to utilise due to very restrictive times of use. I would hope I could I have used early morning or late evening but limited to9.30 to 4.30 so did not use. . only one table tennis table would have been nice to had more.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Newcastle (04 September 2015)

We came as a 3 generational family to be near our son who was working nearby. we were impresssed with the site and the caravan which was immaculate. when we told reception that one light was not working and there was no tray in the oven, they came within five minutes to deal with both. The pool, although small, was warm and ideal for us although it did close very early - could have done with longer hours. there was plenty of things for us to do, especially our 3 and 4 year olds. we loved the social cycles which we hired - good exercise as well as fun!! it was a very successful weekend and better than expected after reading some of the negative comments.

Wonderful location. Swimming pool quite small and annoying you have to book a time slot. Never had to pay for football coaching before.

It is very convenient for us to come to seton sands for a weekend or a few days. we wish we had booked again already for next year when we were there, but we don't think it will be long before we are back. . . we especially like the boatie blest restaurant and the outside courtyard with the big screen tv (for the footie!!) and the fact that you can always just have a sit and a cup of tea or a drink there at most times of the day and just relax. the swimming pool was good, although a little shallow, but that is understandable as there are a lot of young children there. . overall a very good stay both at the end of june and earlier this month.
Kenneth from Arbroath (07 August 2015)

Had an excellent week.
Michael from Stockton (07 August 2015)

The surfaces in the lounge area were sticky, we called and got to complain and two cleaners came to the caravan and washed them down, the smell on entry to the caravan was awful, but again the cleaners found the problem and delt with it, the cleaners were very helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely time at seton sands - this was our second visit and again couldn't fault it. The caravan was immaculate and the staff were all pleasant and polite. . the location is ideal for commuting into edinburgh and we used the bus service that stops at the park.

Overall enjoyed the camp. Found main club and swimming pool were small. Dining facilities good. Main complaint was the beds.they were all made up but the sheet on the double bed wasnt fresh. It was covered in dark hairs.no bed linen for the bed in the living room. This was promptly delivered but no duvet.when complaining staff told us the duvet is normally in the wardrobe, it wasn't, we discovered it was on the floor under a bed and not in any protective cover, unusable. The floor under the bed was dirty and hadn't been cleaned for a while. The rest of the caravan cleanliness acceptable. The shower floor very slippy, had to put a towel on the floor to avoid accidents. The curtain track in double bedroom was broken. As the cleaner had just left I think they could have reported it and informed us this was what would be done instead of me having to do it.

We thought the spar could have been better stocked (post cards) and so could the swim shop. We had a nice meal on site, even though service behind the bar was slow. Our daughters didn't get a shot on the bungee trampoline because the site was short staffed. We couldn't hire a pedal car the first day we tried because they were waiting to be fixed. Despite these small points, the caravan site was a good base from which to explore the region and we had a good holiday.
Susan from Falkirk (17 July 2015)

The caravan was lovely very clean and modern. It lacked basic cooking equipment, however. I tried to contact reception but there was no answer and I eventually got through to an out of hours number, about an hour or so later a man brought three pans round. . the location was excellent for our needs with having access to public transport nearby to edinburgh. The beach was horrendous. Broken glass and litter everywhere and the sand stained your feet/flipflops! there was no gap in the fence to access the beach.

We were unable to use the swimming pool because it was closed to us at 4.30. if we went out during the day this time was too early. We would expect to be able to use up to 6.00. we are age 60 plus so childrens facilities are not needed but we mainly book for pool use.

The caravan was in need of some basic needs a frying pan and a oven tray which we had to buy. For safety needs the gas cooker knobs were to easy to get to for my grandson. The shower needs a mat in it and maybe a handle in case of slips. Over all the caravan was clean and tidy and was already made up for us and we bought bedding with us. The site was great and plenty of things to do and visit around the area, so would recommend this site as being a good family friendly site.

Loved this park, stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Nice that the park is all pretty much flat, chip shop a great idea. Bar area was lovely and right next to indoor soft play and amusements so the little 1,s were entertained too. . will return again for definate.
Sharon from Sunderland (04 May 2015)

Nice clean site, the pool was a bit small with no chutes so was a bit boring after 20 minutes. Good bus service into edinburgh very reasonable price £3 return for adults, £1.40 return for kids. The sports court was concrete so not very good for most ball games. On the whole a good base to explore edinburgh and the surrounding area.

Wouldn't go back .swimming pool what a laugh you had to stand and queue then couldn't get in went on the monday to friday wanted to book different events but was fully booked got one event and couldn't get that until the thursday night.didnt get keys to caravan until 4.40pm as caravan wasn't ready.worst caravan park we have been to.views and walks were great but that's it
Scott from Fife (17 April 2015)

Our caravan was not ready on arrival and the beds were not made or indeed the linen wasn't present, took 2 calls to get it brought. The swimming facilities were poor. 1 shower working (with cold water), lack of drainage meant you ended up standing in other peoples shower water. The changing area was also very wet which meant anything that fell got really wet. Park was good and restaurant fresh and modern.

First but not last timers!!!!. never done the caravan holiday thing before so this was our first time at seton sands, we chose it for its central location as we were visiting family in glasgow and perth. . I wanted to give the kids who aged between 15 and 3 to have a nice holiday as well as visiting family. The facilities were excellent, all the kids enjoyed the pool although it was a bit small. The staff where very helpful especially the guy in the kilt at the gate on our arrival. The beach was only across the road and plenty of local amenities including a lidl to keep the costs down oh and the the local chinese takeaway will deliver to your caravan!!!. the only down side was the queue to get the keys on arrival as we waited almost 40 minutes which is a long time after a 6 hour drive with kids under 5. We hired a delux 2 caravan which with 6 of us was still very spacious and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay and to be honest we didn't see much of our family as we were having so much fun..
Shona from Doncaster (10 April 2015)

Nice place and easy access to edinburgh city centre. Good entertainment and good offers at restaurant.

Great site with plenty to do. Clean caravans and site, staff friendly and close to edinburgh.
Sharon (06 April 2015)

We hired a deluxe caravan, and for the price I paid I would have expected it to have decking around, rather than opening the door to steep steps, not good for a 3 year old. the caravan itself looked nearly new, the downside was it wasnt that clean, upon entering I had to sweep the floor as there was nail clipping but then there was no brush pan to sweep it up. I reported it to reception and also asked if the floor could be washed and what I found upon returning was they had left a brush pan, and a mop head, but left the dirt for me to sweep up and I presume for me to wash the floor!!. the pool was nice but the showers and the changing area were inadequate and dirty. it is ideal for edingburgh but there are nicer places in scotland.

We had to thoroughly clean our caravan on admission - the shower room was particularly dirty. as we were meeting up with family, we did not want to cause a fuss & spoil our holiday = we accepted this problem and 'got on with it'. as we were moved nearer to our family, this was appreciated & was a 'good exchange'. perhaps our original allocation was cleaner?? pity we couldn't be told, on arrival, which unit we were to be allocated.
Kath from Banffshire (15 September 2014)

Very good park would recommend it caravan for pets still had hairs on floor and I think the cleaner forgot to mop the floor as the mop in the cupboard was stinking had to keep outside apart from that good wee holiday
Brenda from Bo'Ness (08 September 2014)

Nice week's holiday, nothing to complain about even the weather was good. Plenty of attractions nearby and good areas for dog walking
Roger from Chesterfield (05 September 2014)

A lovely cararvan park very pretty and staff were friendly and helpful. Easy travel to edinburgh bus every 15 minutes. Caravan was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again
Stephanie from Cumbria (29 August 2014)

Great cheap and cheerful holiday with the kids. lots to do all weather's. great food on site. just be aware it is a very large site so walk from caravan to entertainment lounge can be a wee 5 minute trek or so.
Joanna (04 August 2014)

We had teenagers with us so probably not the most suitable park but ideal as we were staying in scotland for the commonwealth games . we were very impressed by the caravan, spotlessly clean and all mod cons. 9 hole golf course on site was good. great location for getting to edinburgh and can highly recommend portobello area for beach. seton sands beach was dirty and could not recommend but go along the coast to berwick - absolutely beautiful. dont be put off by some of the negative comments, we liked the bar area. all in all we had a great time and good value for money.
Gillian from Bognor Regis (01 August 2014)

Very enjoyable!
Brian from Belfast (11 July 2014)

Disgusted with it all and when I complained to guest relations I was practically called a liar as they said we had been relocated to a superior 3 which we definitely weren't they were quick to email when they were telling me this but as soon as I pointed out if it was a superior caravan why wasn't there more stuff in no reply
Janet (04 July 2014)

Lovely park, wonderful caravan , brilliant staff could find no fault. David from glasgow.
David (20 June 2014)

We had a fantastic holiday! highly recomended!
