Stunning views, nice quiet location but only 10-15 min drive to bude. Very hilly walk to nearest beach, also check high tide times if you're looking for sand. Park itself is run very well, all staff are very helpful, nice play area for kids and indoor swimming pool (they did have time slots for the pool so check before going), entertainment was simple but kids enjoyed it, nothing too fancy in the restaurant but was not overly priced and reasonable quality. Only small gripe is that there was not much in the shop (part of reception) so you will need to go outside the park for anything except essentials (they did run out of bread one day too).
Inderjit from Birmingham (03 September 2016)

We could not have asked for a better week away! the caravan was spotless and welcoming. The site was lovely. Staff were really warm and helpful. We will definitely be back!
Joanne from York (03 September 2016)

Family entertainment very poor! not much for kids to do on site, amusements always breaking down, very small shop
Mark from Dudley (03 September 2016)

Great location. We all really enjoyed the area and will return
Paul from Millom (03 September 2016)

The site location was perfect and the staff in reception were lovely, but couldnt address our concerns. the vans were in need of a review, broken window latches, panels falling off and mold. We used the pool twice but it wasn't very baby friendly and the changing facilities certainly were not the clubhouse was pretty terrible to be honest and the food was microwave meals I could have pinged in the van for cheaper. . the biggest disappointment was other holiday makers, who were rude. The ones in the accommodation next door, loud, screaming, swearing at kids, who kept banging on our windows and crawling under our van using the holes where parts of it had fallen off!! had 3 cars and parked in everyone else spaces. We raised this but nothing was done.
Laura from Wirral (03 September 2016)

Had a lovely stay. Caravan very clean and comfortable.
Julie from Derby (03 September 2016)

Absolutely brilliant site, staff and holiday...
Belinda from Woodhall Spa (03 September 2016)

Loved the location . kids loved the place. Facilities were good.
Sharon from Bucks (29 August 2016)

Pool needed updating and cleaning. Overall we had a great time here and definitely will be coming back.
Nicki from Newton Abbot Devon (29 August 2016)

The holiday site was basic but had everything you need - play area for kids, pool, bar/restaurant. The arcade was good but a lot of the time the machines were broken or just ate your money - this could have been better. The site is a short drive from bude and a fair wlak from sandymouth bay but a beautiful view from the site.
Jolene (29 August 2016)

Beautiful location, great holiday park.
Neina (27 August 2016)

Lovely holiday park, nice food in the pub/restaurant, good location
Victoria (27 August 2016)

We had 2 caravans side by side as requested in a lovely secluded spot, both caravans were very clean & we had no complaints at all, the views were spectacular, the facilities were very good, we didn't eat on site so can't comment about the food, we would definitely recommend the site :)
Paul from St Helens (27 August 2016)

The accommodation we stayed in was lovely...however not much for our 18 year old daughter to do of an evening.
Michelle from Staffordshire (15 August 2016)

We had a great time, just a short drive to bude, lovely place. Ate at the camp and used the swimming pool, all good. Would definately recommend sandymouth to anyone.
David from Belton (13 August 2016)

We had a great holiday.
Julie from Wombwell, Barnsley (13 August 2016)

Very nice site. easy to find, nice beach when tide is out. Not too busy even when site was full. Bit of a walk to beach, best to drive. Caravan was nice and clean. Staff friendly.
Simon from Crowthorne (13 August 2016)

We had a fantastic time and will be booking again for 2017. . facilities: needs more restaurants on site and public toilets.
Clare from Grays Essex (13 August 2016)

We have been back twice and as a family and had great fun also made friends with paul dan and scott who are all great plus all the staff are good hopefully some old faces will be back next year x
Emma from Tiverton Devon (13 August 2016)

Lovely holiday, park had everything we needed as a family (9yr and 3 mtp old). swimming pool was great with good timings and not too busy. Kids club was great too entertainment staff worked very hard. Thank-you for a lovely holiday.
Helen from Liverpool (13 August 2016)

We had a wonderful holiday at sandymouth. The site was very nice, clean and safe for the kids to run around (they loved the pool and the pirate ship playground). the location makes it a perfect getaway to escape the hustle and bustle. All the staff were great and were there to help whenever it was needed. It was a perfect base to explore cornwall. I would not hesitate to recommend them and hopefully we be able to staf again soon.
Richard from Trowbridge (13 August 2016)

Lovely site, very helpful, friendly staff, beautiful beach.
Alison (13 August 2016)

I came with a party of 10 overall we were satisfied with our holiday however, it was really hard to find seating at the evening entertainment as I just spent feel like the venue is big enough for the people you accommodate. . also the problem we had is we had a coeliac sufferer within our party and although you had suitable alternatives available this was only mon-sat and you didn't offer this on sunday's. I think this should be looked into as if your gluten free your are gluten free mon-sun. . but the caravans were as we expected and happy with your 7day holiday. Smiles all round.
Katie from Burnley (13 August 2016)

Lovely place very clean and tidy but club house gets abit much after a few times but over all well worth a visit.
Rebecca (13 August 2016)

A lovely, genteel, family holiday. Not overly noisy, but lively enough to keep you entertained.
Michael from Bagshot (13 August 2016)

Sandymouth is beautifully positioned on the cliffs with panoramic views of the sea and surrounding coastline - just total bliss! the site is immaculate and the staff cannot do enough for you. There are no local amenities per se. The nearest shop and bus stop are 2 1/2 miles away, so not good if you don't have a car! but the perfect escape from the world.
Fiona from Manchester (13 August 2016)

The staff work tirelessly to ensure you and your family have a good time. The park is immaculate and the views are stunning
Mark from Brighton (13 August 2016)

Great accommodation in a stunning location.
Marie from Barnsley (12 August 2016)

Perfect for families, location ideal, couldn't fault it for a weekend break
Marie from Marlow (08 August 2016)

Stayed at sandymouth bay 4 times now, would not hesitate to stay again, love the site and the location, the accommodation has always been well maintained and spotless, the staff are welcoming, highly recommends this site
Susan from St Helens (06 August 2016)

Had a fantastic time at sandymouth holiday park. we didn't use the facilities that much except to get a take away but that's because we enjoy long days out exploring the north coast.
Lisa from London (06 August 2016)

Nice location but caravan smelt of damp, not cleaned to a medium standard neither mind high standard. Had to buy my own cleaning products to clean it properly. On the good side staff were very very good. Very close to beach which was a short 1 mile walk. Easy acess to coastal path.
Jeffrey (06 August 2016)

Really love sandymouth bay and our grandchildren insisted they wanted to return again this year, because of the fantastic pirate ship. I'm sure they would happy to have been left to play on it for the entire week!!
Karen (06 August 2016)

Good clean and quiet park set in a lovely area, the beach does get very busy at peak periods and involves a fair walk downhill to reach.
Brian from Rochester (06 August 2016)

Really nice park, entertainment could be better but we didn't stay there to be entertained so not a problem. Food good in restaurant, caravan was clean, comfortable with a view to match.
Tanya (06 August 2016)

Holiday camp was nice, staff with great ,food was average, little bit exspensive ,camp to far from everything ..entertainment was average ..
Wayne from Coventry (06 August 2016)

Wonderful site, beautiful surroundings, the views are spectacular. Staff helpful and friendly, children's entertainment brilliant. Second visit and cannot wait to return.
Janet from Great Harwood, Blackburn (06 August 2016)

A fantastic holiday camp. Very clean and well kept. Impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of staff. We really enjoyed our holiday.
Robert from Huddersfield. (06 August 2016)

As an oap my wife and I found the camp just fine but my four grandsons who were also staying in the camp ( with my daughters and son in laws) loved it, especially the nightlife. Peter scola
Peter from Mitcham, London (06 August 2016)

Fabulous setting beautiful caravan very clean and well kept, children's entertainment very good and entertainment staff good however the lack of adult entertainment was obvious compared to last year all facilities well maintained and equally good as last year! will definitely go back lack of food available on two occasions eating in club house was also a disappointment.
Annette from Leicestershire (06 August 2016)

Brilliant!
Aron from Cardiff (06 August 2016)

Based in a very picturesque location. the staff were very helpful in the rare occasions we needed help with anything. . . we didn't use all the facilities (bar/pool) but found everything we did use to be fine, other than the arcade games which could do with updating (with only a couple which were working, and a 2p machine without any little prizes etc.) which was a bit disappointing for our 7 year old. . . the accommodation was a very high standard of cleanliness and although quite expensive was a high standard. . . overall I would stay there again and would recommend to others.
Edward from Portsmouth (05 August 2016)

This was a wonderful location in a large warm and spacious caravan. unfortunately the beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. We had to find a a quilt to put under the sheet so that we could actually sleep. I think at least these mattresses should be covered with a topper as they cannot give anyone a good nights sleep. I have no other complaints about this holiday but would like to bring the mattresses to your attention.
Sue from Bath (05 August 2016)

Lovely caravans, clean & surprisingly spacious. Minor problem was reported & within minutes a maintenance guy arrived & fixed it. Pirate ship play area was loved by the kids.
Angela from Kidsgrove (05 August 2016)

Location is best and good for kids
Arvinder from Sandwell (01 August 2016)

Good localisation ;-) silence area ;-) not to far to lidl and bude city ;-)
Patryk (01 August 2016)

Fantastic site and facilities our second visit !
Tracy from Halifax (30 July 2016)

So glad I came across sandymouth holiday park for our last minute summer holiday. Liked the fact it wasn't too big a site, but still had things to keep the kids entertained. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Sandymouth itself was a lovely little pebbly cove (we never really got to see the sand!). we have national trust membership, which meant parking at sandymouth was free (bit of a steep return journey to the holiday park on foot otherwise!). bude's only 5 miles away & is a nice little seaside town with various supermarkets and shops. Plenty to do up the coast in devon or further down the cornish coast too. Just a shame the weather was so changeable (my daughter wore her wellies everyday!) which let the holiday down a little, but couldn't really fault the site or accommodation. We would come back :)
Liz from Swindon (30 July 2016)

Had a fantastic holiday, staff were really friendly and helpful. Site kept clean and tidy. Really good childrens entertainment.
Linda from Havant (30 July 2016)

Warm welcome from the reception team. They were quick to resolve any queries or issues we had. Great size pool that was very clean. Nice size park that was not too busy so good for young children especially loved the pirate ship playground.
Hazel from Southampton (30 July 2016)

Fantastic location. Spacious caravan. Had a great time highly recommend!!
Victoria from Southsea (30 July 2016)

Absoultley gorgoeus setting! staff were very friendly and helpful. Entertainment staff always went out of there way to keep the children happy and entertained. The kids loved the pirate ship I couldn't keep my 3 yearnold son away!. food was lovely and good prices. Would definatley recommend and would definatley visit sandymouth holiday park again in the future.
Marsha from Biggleswade (30 July 2016)

Great location - very good condition - clean and tidy - good kitchen and equipment - advise better pictures on your web site as was unsure whether to book due to lack of pictures but was great
David from Sturminster Newton (30 July 2016)

Accommodation needs attention and wifi does not work
Gavin from Leicester (30 July 2016)

Great beer and food although expensive. Poor facilities for kids and no shop. Wifi limited.
Brian from Birmingham (30 July 2016)

Lovely clean park with great countryside views. Main supermarkets morrisons and lidll are not too far away in bude itself.
Mark from Liverpool (30 July 2016)

Lovely holiday park. Good facilities.
Katy from Salisbury (29 July 2016)

It was a nice caravan with good on site facilities. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and my son loved the baby pool, it helped him gain more confidence. And my kids both really enjoyed playing on the outside pirate ship play area.
Jane from Highbridge (29 July 2016)

We had a lovely holiday. Sandymouth is a very nice park. Our caravan was very nice and very clean. Beds were comfortable overall excellent accommodation. Met family there and we all had a great time. Beaches close by good and the area is lovely would recommend.
Amanda from Gloucestershire (29 July 2016)

Was an excellent stay. Caravans clean. Enjoyed swimming with the kids, but the evening entertainment was not very good.

Susan from Manchester (23 July 2016)

Lovely place for a quiet holiday. fantastic views and some god facilities for young children. the evening entertainment was quite poor and the music was only loud modern music every night. I am young and enjoy motown and 80s stuff not just loud dance music. we would stay again.
Victoria (23 July 2016)

Great place for a holiday club needs better entertainment staff worked endlessly to entertain but only managed to please the kids but don't be put off by this
Robert (23 July 2016)

Nice place, clean accommodation. Polite and helpful staff.
Ian from Manchester (23 July 2016)

Absolutely loved this site. Everything needed within a short distance, staff were amazing. My girls cried coming home as they didn't want to leave. Highly recommended and can't wait to book for next year
Donna from Leicester (23 July 2016)

2nd visit here and totally recommend this place, has stunning views over the coast and great facilities.
Caren from Wales (23 July 2016)

Stayed at sandymouth now for the last 8 years or so, lovely clean site and excellent staff. Accommodate always spotless. Looking forward too the revamp but hope it doesn't change too much.
Rebecca from Somerset (23 July 2016)

Overall our experience was good, except for the exposed carpet grippers in the lounge area that cut my 5 yr old sons foot, and the single beds we're very uncomfortable! everything else was as we expected.
Debbie from Kidderminster (23 July 2016)

Fantastic staff who were very friendly and helpful.
Lauren from Wolverhampton (23 July 2016)

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Rebecca from Leicestershire (23 July 2016)

We had a great time at sandymouth holiday park. We had a 5 year old and a young baby in pushchair. The holiday park / swimming pool were clean. Entertainment for kids every night ( we went in mid july). local beach was tricky with pushchair but we'll worth it once set up for the day. There were other more suitable beaches nearby that were easier with a pushchair. Reception staff were helpful with information. Overall we had a fab holiday.
Melissa (23 July 2016)

Fabulous staff, clean, safe site and we will be booking again for 2017!
Marianne from Wales (23 July 2016)

Really lovely holiday park. Great location, plenty to do in and around the park. Caravan was really clean and adequate for a weeks holiday. If there was one thing that let us down, it was the evening entertainment was really quite poor.
Claire from Wirral (23 July 2016)

Not really much on site. Example. Amusements
Hayley from Liversedge (23 July 2016)

Fabulous time at this great holiday park. clean well equipped caravan, a real home from home. the park itself was well looked after, clean and tidy. A real pleasure to stay here, looking forward to coming back next year.
Tracey from Birmingham (23 July 2016)

Couldn't find any fault at all. With the staff being uber helpful and friendly. The accommodation being immaculate and the particular caravan we stayed in was the most pictures setting
Katie (23 July 2016)

The caravan was so small we struggled for space and storage for food. however the beach was lovely and within walking distance and the pool and play area where also good.
Laura from Manchester (23 July 2016)

Beautiful beautiful place :-). nice staff. The only thing - I think that the pool could have a better sanitation.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Århus - Denmark (23 July 2016)

Beautiful surroundings and lots to do for the kids
Liam from Sheffield (22 July 2016)

Fantastic park loved every minute. Beautiful location, will go back .
Kiran from Birmingham (22 July 2016)

Lovely site, great kids park, good evening entertainment.
Gareth from Cardiff (22 July 2016)

Very good short holiday at caravan park
Maciej from London (18 July 2016)

Great location. Great views.
Claire from Bridgnorth (16 July 2016)

Had a lovely relaxing week better than expected. The place is clean and staffs are all friendly and helpful. Very good value for money. Cant say anything bad at all except we should have booked 2 weeks rather than just 1 week! very sad to leave the place..
Heidi from Bristol (16 July 2016)

A beautiful site, just abit far from the main attractions, but I was trying to please all ages.
Customer 90 from Oxfordshire (16 July 2016)

Staff were very helpful and friendly with a good knowledge of the surrounding areas.
Darryl from Leicester (16 July 2016)

We had a great week at sandymouth, the caravan was very good with a great view. All the staff were friendly and the entertainment staff put in a lot of effort. Beach is a bit further away than we thought . good location to travel arround from. Really enjoyed the adult swim session in the mornings.
Julie (16 July 2016)

As a base to stay very good, but factilities limited, would not like to stay at peak times
Caroline from Fareham (15 July 2016)

Fantastic and very clean holiday park, lovely indoor pool, games room and bar. Nightly entertainment which was great fun, food nice and staff very helpful. Views from our lodge were fantastic, only downside was the walk from the lodge to the main amenities.
Sue from Lymington (15 July 2016)

Good holiday twice in a few weeks it's a good site the staff in the bar are excellent young people on the reception need training on customer relations attitudes and not looking at you when talking to you and in helpfulness. but other staff at bar are excellent help. broadband is a issue as its unreliable for caravan use had to sit outside and in the bar would go again
David from Rotherham (15 July 2016)

We have returned to sandy mouth on various occasions both as carers and grandparents. We have always been treated extremely well and on an occasion when we had a technical problem in the caravan it was reported and dealt with within 20 minutes . the manager goes out of his way , even offering to post a letter for me ,in his own time ,as I had missed the post on site . it really saved the day !!!. the caravans are immaculate on arrival , the park is well maintained , the bed linen white and fresh and complimentary tea and coffee and biscuits are a special touch. If you're looking for busy all in holiday park then this is not for you, this park is for family holidays that have enough on offer without temptations to break the bank !!!. the swimming pool staff are very helpful and friendly . in fact i've never meant anyone who wasn't . the maintenance men wave as they drive past on the tractor which is great for the kids . . jayne mark and little people x
Jayne (15 July 2016)

More for families with young children who want a relaxing break and don't mind driving for days out as not a lot close by.
Kirsty from Bristol (11 July 2016)

The park itself;. nestled on a hill above the sea. Quite isolated but the wind at night is quite comforting. Very well kept grounds, with lots of bin areas and lots of amenities. . bar and restaurant well stocked. Swimming pool was great, just the right temperature for the main pool and the kiddie one was noticeably hotter. Lockers are key operated and they take a £1 deposit which is returned when you return the key. Negative point is that they don't have hairdryers! and also, the glass doors that lead into the pool need a good cleaning! such a simple thing to do that would change the full look of the doors!. . we ate in the restaurant a couple of times. Once was for a sunday dinner and once for a regular meal of burger and chips. Both times the meal was served really quickly, fresh ingredients and tasty too!! would recommend it to anyone staying in the park!. . every single member of staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much effort for them! we only had one small issue while we stayed, which was a problem with low water pressure in our caravan. Within 20 minutes we had a plumber visit and fix the issue with no problems!. . wifi. Free. Across the whole resort! I did a quick speed test and was getting 8mbs on a sunday night. It was enough for me to hook up my ipad and stream a movie from netflix for the kids before bed. Pretty great!. . the views. Oh my word, the views! simply stunning, even when the weather wasn't that great! so pleasant to just sit and appreciate!. . stayed in a mayflower plus (4 adults and 2 kids (both 3yr). the caravan itself was stocked quite well. Plenty of wine/small drink glasses, crockery, pots and a frying pan and even a selection of sharp knifes (quite blunt to be honest but we had brought our own so no problems there). there was a little bit of a funny smell in the van but it went away after a couple of days airing the place out. Iron and ironing board included which was nice. Even a wee box of chockie biscuits which was a nice touch! the one downside wasn't something that could be helped by the accommodation - the caravan itself was quite small. Well, smaller than any other static I can remember staying in. 2 single beds for the kids which were ample, but 2 adults in the other twin room was a bit cramped. The actual double bedroom was great, with plenty storage space but yeah. Think if we plan a return trip we would need to be booking a caravan per couple! shower was amazing - great pressure, felt like a massager when it was in high and hitting the back of your shoulders!. . used the laundrette while we were there. £5 for a 25min eco wash. Towel wash took 50 minutes in high heat tumbledry, which cost £2. (20p for 5mins) swimming costumes and light stuff took 80p to dry on high heat! very reasonable at all. . all in all - a fantastic holiday, and a smashing park that we will be happy to return to, although returning to a different caravan!
Kirsty (09 July 2016)

Lovely park with great views. Staff really friendly and helpful. Fairly quiet for a family park and the pool is quite basic, not much fun for children, no slide etc. Caravan was a good size which was lovely and clean with comfy beds. Recommend for families with young children (we had a 3 year old) but not for children that need lots of entertainment and things to do.
Wendy from St Blazey (08 July 2016)

We had a fantastic 4 night break in early july, the site was everything we had hoped for - quiet and surrounded by beautiful countryside and sea views, but only 15 mins from bude. Facilities onsite suited us and our 2 young children, staff were very friendly and always willing to help, our only gripe is that the mattresses were very uncomfortable, and the cost of using the launderette facilities was a bit excessive.
Claire from Liskeard (08 July 2016)

This was an excellent holiday for a young family. the accommodation was very well presented, had everything we needed + was very clean.
Marie (08 July 2016)

Very poor basic accommodation. really disappointed sadly.
Mandy (02 July 2016)

The park is tired and was a huge dissapointment. The on site food was the worst i've ever eaten. the manager was fabulous and tried his absolute best to compensate for what was the worst holiday we've had.
Ian from Leek (02 July 2016)

Good caravan , unfortunately the weather was foul , which spoilt the holiday , but we would stay there again.
Barry from Coalville (02 July 2016)

Amazing! booking again next year!
Daniel from Liverpool (02 July 2016)

Very enjoyable stay this is our second time at sandymouthbay. It's a shame the weather wasn't very good but our granddaughters . enjoyed the swimming pool and going on the black pearl boat. Caravan comfortable and clean. We all agreed that we would. Come back for a third time. Ken & jacqui powell. (essex)
Ken from Chelmsford Essex (02 July 2016)

Must say the caravan was lovely and clean think we may needed a bigger one next time. The holiday park didn't really have much there for children I thought so had to go out everyday to entertain them but was good wat I paid for
Melissa from Cornwall (02 July 2016)

This is a lovely small holiday park in a delightful setting. we have been several times before and have been impressed by the improvements that have been made over the last few years. it is suitable for both families with young children and those of retirement age who are looking for a quiet location to holiday out of school term time. staff were all friendly and helpful during our stay. we would be happy to recommend to family and friends and hope to return again soon.
Steve from Buckinghamshire (02 July 2016)

Been to sandymouth 4 times, enjoyed it every time and can't wait to go back for our 5th visit.
Maria from Milton Keynes (02 July 2016)

We all really enjoyed our stay at sandymouth. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were out of season so the park was quite quiet but the entertainment staff still made every effort to make sure we all had fun. Stunning views across the countryside and the beautiful beach. We loved our lodge, it was so cosy and we looked forward to coming back there after a day out.
Karen from Tunbridge Wells (02 July 2016)

Great holiday staff always very friendly and welcoming .we would definitely come back
Wayne from Bedford (02 July 2016)

Yes I would definitely recommend sandy mouth holiday park to my friends and family and I will be back there some time soon
Claire from Kent (02 July 2016)

Good value the week we went would I pay full high season price fr that van no. Nice camp great location helpful staff . thank you for locating us away from children's pay area. . william jenkins
William from Abergele (02 July 2016)

The site need a shop for essentials .
Dawn from Farnham Royal (02 July 2016)

We stayed june 2016 in a dog friendly caravan. It was very tatty. Our girls were sharing a room but keeping one another awake so decided to separate them with us to sleep on the sofa bed. We pulled the sofa bed out and the mattress was so old and filthy and under the frame was mouldy food and general rubbish. Put it straight back as couldn't be used in that state. Paid an extra £70 to take our perfectly behaved dog and can't see where this money has been reinvested. I understand some dogs are more disruptive but would appreciate a nicer caravan next time. On the whole park facilities and staff were great. Play area was too grown up for our almost 3year old, there was no toddler play areas unfortunately. Entertainment was great for her.
Caroline from Herts (02 July 2016)

The best park in north cornwall we will be back
James from Folkestone Kent (02 July 2016)

Lovely views of the coast due to the parks elevated position, dog friendly and helpful staff, about a miles walk down to the beach with rock pools for kids to explore. Had a great time and would definitely come back!
Richard (02 July 2016)

The views from the caravan was absolutely fantastic. And the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Robert (02 July 2016)

We had a cheap last minute deal so the value for money was very good, the caravan itself was spotless with excellent quality facilities. . . the location itself wasn't the best, the site has a beautiful view of the sea and surrounding fields but there is quite a drive to the nearest town (10mins approx) and the nearest beach is down a very steep hill and isn't suitable for those who have difficulty walking or for small children. . . the pool is a nice size and the staff are very friendly and helpful, the baby pool was a perfect temperature for our son, too. . . we didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that but the onsite shop has basic amenities at a decent price. . . based on the site itself we would definitely stay again but would probably not do so because of the location.
Claire (01 July 2016)

Had a great time, caravan was lovely with amazing views (we stayed in ark royal 2) just a shame the weather wasn't too kind to us! we had a couple of minor problems but they were fully sorted within the hour. We also left our camera when we went home but called as soon as we realised and they arranged to post it back to us, cannot fault the staff :-) . only complaint is that when we went for a walk to the beach (i'd advise you drive unless you like walking up big hills) the tide was in so there was no sand! never mind, i'm sure we'll be back there to see the beach properly. Would definitely stay again :-)
Fiona from Birmingham (01 July 2016)

Very nice holiday park very clean, also staff very helpful caravan was wonderful.
Philip from Cheltenham (01 July 2016)

Caravan was in a good location , clean , carpet not fitted frayed all around the edges. Small and quiet site which is just what we wanted. We didnt use the entertainment , ate at the onsite restaurant once and decided not to again .
Vikki from Small And Quiet Site Which Is Just What We Wanted. (01 July 2016)

Stunning location, great accommodation, menu in restaurant needs improvement.
Pamela from Staines In Surrey (01 July 2016)

Great location,
Wendy (27 June 2016)

The caravan and site were both immaculate. helpful little touches such as tea and coffee and a toilet roll. The views surrounding the park were fabulous. I would not say it was a family fun park. It very small and amenities could be considered as barely there as it was all very minimal. The beach was much more than just a "stones throw" away which was very disappointing. Better if you are staying a week I would imagine but I wouldn't considered it a family fun park as said and I came with 3 children are rangeing from 7 to 16.
Joanne (27 June 2016)

Lovely quiet park
Helen (27 June 2016)

Lovely clean site and caravans. Our 3 year old absolutely loved the play area and especially the pirate boat. Every member of staff we encountered were really helpful and polite. The caravans were well equipped, modern and really clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Rachel from Manchester (27 June 2016)

We have been visiting sandymouth now for over 40 years and absolutely love it. The beach, cliffs and countryside are unbeatable - and we will be back in 2017.
Anne from Cleckheaton (25 June 2016)

Enjoyed my stay.
Douglas from Stonehouse, Glos (25 June 2016)

We went in june, before schools broke up for summer and thought the value for money was excellent. However, in school holidays the value is no where near as good.
John from Rotherham (25 June 2016)

We have stayed at this site for four years running and will be booking soon for next year!
Tony from Telford (25 June 2016)

During the stay it was pleasant and quiet being away from school holidays, site was very clean and staff very attentive, we had a last minute deal, and if I had paid full price I would not have been happy with the accommodation, it was full of spiders and cobwebs, different bulbs for the fittings, some lights not working, shower door had a broken weld in the corner, settee had one of the arms slightly damaged, window catch broken, toilet was listing to one side with a loose toilet seat and broken catch on glass unit. It was a nice touch to have a pack of choc biscuits and a letter from the manager in the accommodation when we arrived, we tolerated these issues and did not say anything, it was far easier for us to give it a quick clean and the maintenance issues was ok as we were only there for a week. . we really did enjoy our time there and would defo go back, sorry I have had to raise these issues but you did ask . kindest regards
P.D from Lancashire (25 June 2016)

Very nice location. Very clean & well maintained. Staff friendly & welcoming.
David from Dublin (25 June 2016)

One of the best family holidays we've ever had. Location and views were stunning! the restaurant food was great, sunday roast was delicious. Family entertainment was brilliant! the kids play park was clean and user friendly. The pool was basic, but clean and warm. The whole site was peaceful and quiet at night. Will definitely be returning.
Lauren from Portsmouth (25 June 2016)

Love the park and location.
John from Tamworth (25 June 2016)

Very quite, peaceful setting, well maintained park. a very good site to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and unwind from the stress of life. Food and entertainment and reception shop could be better but a well stocked bar for that evening drink helps things go with the flow. Good site to use as a base camp to view other well known towns and villages near by. Local town of bude about a fifteen minute drive away. Looking to stay here again in 2017, if only for the relaxing peace and quite of the park.
Paul from Calne (24 June 2016)

Friendly and helpful welcome from bar staff as I arrived late. Views from caravan and park are stunning.
Paul (24 June 2016)

Lovely break stayed friday to monday had a good time , easy drive to bude which was lovely . . (only disappointment was getting down to the beach no proper walk way & dangerous to do so , only car park was expensive just to park if you were just going to have a look )
Elaine from Wrexham (20 June 2016)

Staff very friendly and helpful. site well maintained, just one or two issues with the galleon play area where there could be warning signs or padding for low doorways etc. grandchildren enjoyed swimming pool and entertainment.
Stuart (20 June 2016)

Clean site ,very good caravan and very nice entertainment lounge
Matthew from Halesowen (20 June 2016)

The view from our caravan was amazing! however, the caravan needed a lot of attention. It took 1hr to cook some sausages, as the oven was very poor. The pirate ship was great fun for my 3 yr old. The pool was very clean and tidy, with helpful lifeguards. The showers at the pool where extremely dangerous for children as the waster was either scolding hot or freezing cold. The pressure was also extremely poor, as the water dribbled out. the children's entertainment was good. Having stayed at other family parks, we did feel that there wasn't that much to do for children, once we had been swimming.
Colin (18 June 2016)

Great inexpensive holiday in a first class caravan and site
Martin from Basingstoke (18 June 2016)

Brilliant location. Would gladly return.
Peter from Manchester City Fc (18 June 2016)

Not enough activitys. Food microwave bland
Sandra from Northampton (18 June 2016)

It is a lovely site and great with small children. It is a little off the beaten track so can take time to get places if you are going out for the day. We had a fantastic week even with typical british weather and would return.
Richard from Nottingham (18 June 2016)

Lovely staff very helpful amazing view from caravan
Malcolm from Notts (18 June 2016)

Not a lot on site. More like stopping on caravan sight with a club. Stopped in atlantic lodge which was excellent. But. Rest of site not up to standard of lodge. Previous holiday at perran meadows. Much better site than this one
James from Bretforton (18 June 2016)

A fab place, accommodation excellent, spotlessly clean, everything we needed! . views in royal fortuna amazing! nice and quiet location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small pool but great for us and very clean! restaurant good, entertainment for kids good. Would love to return sometime!
Andrea from Northampton (18 June 2016)

From the time we arrived the staff were brilliant, would recommend sandymouth holiday park without hesitation
Mike (17 June 2016)

Lovely place but not much to do onsite when the weather is bad. I have a preschooler and a baby, it would've been nice to have a soft play area for the children. As for the accommodation I can only say it was lovely and comfortable., we stayed at the lodge and had a very pleasant stay. I would definitely go back again. We found a loaf of bead and milk in the fridge, nice little touch!
