It was awful. When we arrived we arrived to a dirty horrible caravan with the door wide open and nothing had been touch since the last people where in
Clarissa from Rugby (27 October 2017)

The caravan was nice but the mud outside the caravan was dreadful, the whole park needs a lot of work doing to it before we would consider going back
Chriztine from Birmongham (27 October 2017)

The caravan was in a poor state, the shower drain was blocked and the van was damp. Car parking was very poor with us parking in mud which was then tracked into van. There was no instructions for lighting the gas fire which was very dangerous to light, I burnt my hair the first time. We wont be planning a return visit!
John from Stonehouse (27 October 2017)

We did have an issue with our initial accommodation but this was promptly resolved by the very helpful and understanding reception lady ( unfortunately I can't remember her name. From then on we had a very comfortable, relaxing break
Steven from Harrogate (13 October 2017)

Lovely site in a lovely area.
Sarah from Leicester (09 October 2017)

Worried about reviews I had read about being dirty caravans and smelly but thankfully on arrival it was very clean.
Heather from Worcester (09 October 2017)

I love then place
Rebecca from Bristol (09 October 2017)

We booked this because it was dog friendly but when we got there dogs wasn't allowed in bar area so we couldn't get food or drink unless we sat outside in the cold they said we can use the other site 200 yards down the road witch we did on the first night but was so bloody dangerous walking at night where there was no pavement using my mobile so cars can see us in the road so every night after that we drove to near by places for food and drink so the only thing that's dog friendly about this site was that dogs can walk around the site. the caravan is another thing the wife slipped on the decking hearting herself there was nets on some windows missing some others were torn wire sticking out of the bed oven didn't work properly holes in walls the gas fire ignition didn't work so they left a battery gas lighter on the side witch was also broken and the oven check was out of date
Daryl from Wickford (30 September 2017)

We enjoyed our break with you but it would have been even better if weather had been kinder!
Valerie from Weston-Super-Mare (15 September 2017)

Overall a good stay, we did have a gas fire that did not work, but staff were helpful and sorted straight away. . single beds are very narrow and some of the curtains were torn at the windows. . site was great, quiet, well laid out and has some fantastic views. Good dog walking area, shop on site was well stocked and had reasonable prices. . overall I would staff again.
Rob from Ross On Wye (11 September 2017)

We had a lovely caravan the view was breathtaking the park was lovely but steps to mermaid cove a bit too steep and handrail was broken in parts so not suitable to take 3 year old grandson down .location lovely.
Sue from Hampshire (11 September 2017)

I booked a 2 bedroom platinum caravan at sandaway john fowler park. The caravan was set upon a cliff edge with beautiful views across combe martin beach so looking out the caravan window was always a pleasure to, the size of the caravan was about 28 foot which is a bit on the small size as i'm used to 32 foot plus but as there was only three of us it was not too bad. The caravan came with all the mod cons dishwasher etc the kitchen was too small though and lacking cupboard space. The caravan was nice and clean but the kitchen worktop edge was damaged the laminate edging ad broken off , I did report the damage and the woman at reception was surprised as the caravan was just over a year old . when you pay for the best accommodation you do not expect any damage to caravan. The shop as a good selection of produce in it the bar is ok and the pool is great to have a dip in. The amusements are non existing very poor but makes up for it with the pool. The private beach is good not much sand but plenty of rock pools to go in, people with disabilities would struggle down the steps though. overall the park is in a great location a 5 minute walk from combe martin and nice friendly staff.
John from Walsall (01 September 2017)

Requesting toilet tissues they gave us almost finished one and promised someone will bring it to me but never happen also same promised about matches .
Mamadou (28 August 2017)

We are extremely unhappy with our experience with your combe martin site. . . our holiday was one of the most expensive holidays we have had but was also the most disappointing. . after traveling for several hours we arrived at your holiday park on monday 21st august. We were given our caravan keys upon opening the caravan we were hit with an overwhelming smell of damp. There was damp patches all over the caravan. As if that wasn't enough to put a downer on the start of our holiday the caravan was with out a doubt disgusting and needed a good clean. There was cobwebs in every corner. The shelving unit was thick of dust. It obviously hadn't been recently hovered as there was food crumbs, bits of toys debris behind the cushions of the sofas, behind the beds and there was even pills on the floor between the sofa & tv unit. . we immediately went to reception to complain. The receptionist told us there wasn't any other vans available to move us to but they would send a cleaner out 1st thing in the morning. The following day no cleaners appeared before we went out for the day. We returned from the beach to find the caravan was no cleaner.again we spoke to someone at reception who apologized and said someone would definitely be out the next day. Wednesday arrived again we went out for the day only to return to muddy footprints in the caravan and what can only be described as a joke, there was a card on the table from a darren & paul saying they had done 1.5 hours cleaning. If they had been in that long it should of been spotless not worse than the previous day. . again we spoke to reception who said the manager would be available to speak to between 12-5pm. We were on holiday so wasn't prepared to wait around wasting a day. The management also never contacted us despite our request to speak with them. Another cleaner then came round to ask about the problems to which we pointed out issues and found the issues we pointed out were cleaned but not the rest of the van. There was also a hole in the floor as you went into the shower room so we had to make sure we stepped over this every day.also the toilet seat wasn't connected to the actual toilet. . the park areas also need better maintaining. The park has a dog walking field which is advertised but unusable as it is just an over grown field of nettles. The path to the pebble beach there is a railing which is in need of repairs and so are the steps themselves. The play areas are only suitable for small children which was fine for us as our daughter is 5years of age but the older children made both the park and soft play unsafe.
Simon from Walsall (28 August 2017)

Fantastic location. The private cove/beach is lovely for dogs, also the view from the park is breathtaking. The clubhouse is very reasonably priced. Main issue was no wifi or phone signal anywhere apart from poor wifi in the clubhouse that we couldn't get due to our dog.
Michael from Camborne, Cornwall (28 August 2017)

Caravan was modern, clean and comfortable for our family of 4. . the staff were friendly and happy to help. However, in spite of it being peak season, the pool was shut more often than it was open during our stay and with that being one of the only facilities on site it was very dissapointing.
Louise from Redhill (26 August 2017)

Didn't get checked in till after 4! outside of caravan grass was all turfed up could do with a patio or decking area to sit with seating.the walk down to the beach was dangerous as hand rails were all broken.as we took our dog there was meant to be a dog walking area but all overgrown so not very good for pets.apart from this it was a lovely area with stunning views a nice walk to the local pub.
Sam from Bristol (25 August 2017)

When you select a top grade caravan the least you expect is a parking space. I had to compete with other users for a nearby space and often had to park at the other end of the site outside the clubhouse. This top-priced (almost £1000!) accommodation seems to have been plonked in a space because it would fit there- no parking and the view of an ivy covered fence. Other service users were regularly making complaints about the state of the shower blocks and when asking to see the manager was told he would be on site in a couple of days- peak season really should have a manager available. on the plus side the staff that were available were friendly and seemed frustrated themselves with how little they could do to help. Overall disappointed.
Barbara from Nottingham (25 August 2017)

Our caravan was dirty, the quilts had dried urine on them and other stains. There was dogs hairs everywhere, I had to clean the floors which were so dirty. . the staff were grumpy and didn't seem to want to be there !
Sarah from Swindon (25 August 2017)

Great holiday. Caravan was a little dated and shabby. Food and bar was good
Robert from Fareham (25 August 2017)

The location and surroundings are beautiful. The caravan site is clean, however the caravan itself is very old and needs upgrading. Curtains have holes , taps dripping , toilet very dirty on arrival and the sofa beds were sinking as we sat on them.
Divina (19 August 2017)

The surrounding were lovely and the lady in the shop was very helpful.
Dianne from Stratford Upon Avon (19 August 2017)

This was a perfect little basic static caravan. it suited our family so well. kept the rain out at night, hot and cold running water and heating and a cooker. the staff were friendly and helpful. the entertainment was not our style so we left it alone. being so very close to the beach was brilliant. the site also offers more luxurious accommodation for those who want and can afford it.
Willow from Manchester (18 August 2017)

It was the perfect location for us close to everything we wanted to see and do. Entertainment wasn't great and also disappointed by the arcade games and lucky dip machines as many didn't work
Steven (18 August 2017)

Location was great we loved being so near the sea. On arrival to our silver grade caravan there was an awful stench coming from the bathroom staff were great and offered to upgrade us I said I was happy for it to be cleaned which they did. Me and my family had a great time lots to do around sandaway!!
Raja from Ilford (14 August 2017)

Facilities in the entertainment room were bad. The children's games need updating. . lovely outdoor pool and great entertainment staff especially chelsea
Carol from Coventry (14 August 2017)

Caravan not cleaned out after last user caravan very dirty old bedding left with blood on it. New bedding had blood on it also that had to be replaced, we cleaned caravan ourselfs and left it at end of the holiday a lot cleaner than we were given it.
Robert (12 August 2017)

It was our first time in devon with family and dog. It's absolutely amazing, the views to die for! we all loved it!
Lina from Canvey Island, Essex (11 August 2017)

Our second year coming to the park and we were more than happy again. We will be coming back for a third time next year.
Nick from Swindon (05 August 2017)

Our caravan was very worn and old inside. Parking for ours was terrible and this has put us off returning.
Heather from Stoke-On-Trent (04 August 2017)

Location is wonderful, but too little entertainment, program so so.. toilets in bar were in absolute mess, flooring floating, 1 evening male toilet was even locked.
Aka from Southampton (31 July 2017)

The lady that runs the entertainment in the evening with the long brown hair is incredibly rude. We was told by two staff that we could bring in my dog and we'd just finished eating, she marched over and said "who's is this dog, you can't have them in" and carried on repeating it even though she could tell our dog was laid under the table.
Faye from Romford (31 July 2017)

Fantastic week. Lovely people. Cheap on site shop. Kids loved the pool. Very clean and tidy.
Christian from Newport Gwent (29 July 2017)

We stayed for a week in a platinum caravan. The caravan itself was well presented, clean and well stocked. We were close to the playpark which was ideal. . the location of the park is beautiful, lots to do round about but driving is essential. . the chefs corner is open 6-9pm daily. Nowhere on site to have breakfast or lunch. . the kids entertainment starts at 6pm. So you either feed your hungry child and they miss the entertainment or you go to entertainment then eat afterwards which is late for a toddler! . the entertainment was a real let down and disappointment for us. The kids entertainment was basically a couple of songs and someone dressed as a bunny or other character. . following on from kids entertainment was the nightly bingo. You are told to keep your children quiet throughout this. Very difficult with a 2 year old who is bored. . our older daughter took part in the kids bingo one evening, the prize being a beanie toy. However, there was more than one child won and the girl told my daughter, you can't have a beanie as someone else one too. She ended up with a dvd our 2 year old won't even entertain. The same night, they said they didn't have enough prizes so the kids were only getting to play 2 games out their book of 5 games? I think with it being advertised as a family holiday park that majority of the adults would have preferred the kids got to play extra games instead of them. . there was cabaret, karaoke, game show after bingo on other nights. . we spent most evenings in our van or park as it just wasn't enough to keep any of our party interested. . the food at chefs corner is passable but all microwaved, fried or oven cooked. My mum had lasagne and it was pretty awful. The gammon and fish were nice. Prices reflect what you get. Oh and far too many chips! . there is a gorgeous restaurant 2 min drive from the park (turn right leaving park and follow road down hill) called sawmills. . the food was spectacular, it was more expensive but a beautiful meal. They do breakfast and lunch too. Definitely recommend trying here. . the outdoor pool was really cosy and clean, no complaints. . the soft play and arcade has seen much better days. Many of the machines didn't work, swallowed your money and did nothing. It closes quite early too. . overall I was disappointed with the entertainment value provided and I wouldn't return based on that.
Fiona from Forfar (24 July 2017)

Staff were terrible evening event staff so rude and not very welcoming. Lovely place lovely location staff shockingly bad totally spoilt my holiday it was that bad.
Robert (24 July 2017)

A lovely small, quiet park with fantastic views. Not ideal for people with mobility difficulties due to lots of hills to walk up.and down to the town. Otherwise beautiful views.
Bethan from Mansfield Woodhouse (22 July 2017)

I had no choice to have a value chalet as we have a dog, but I would rather have stayed at combe martin park as the bronze chalet's for dogs are that bit better.
Linda from Birmingham (17 July 2017)

Great place fantastic facilities friendly helpful staff. Have recommended to friends and we'll definately be back.
Fiona from Southmoor (15 July 2017)

Lovely chalet. Park was lovely, and staff very friendly and helpful! double bed is not a double, more like a queen, wasn't good for two grown adults!
Laura from Portsmouth (10 July 2017)

I booked a two silver apt but I was given a value chalet very basic and dated it stunk it was not cleaned the beds was not made
Stef from Redditch (08 July 2017)

Lovely area and nice accommodation on a pleasant site
Jeffrey from Wirral (24 June 2017)

The heating was on in the onsite bar in 34 degree weather making it unbearable, the bar ran out of lager for 3 of the 4 days we were there. . the location was lovely.
Jodie from Nottingham (23 June 2017)

Great park quite a nice place to stay great for dogs would stay there again
Robert from Newport (23 June 2017)

Not good at all views was really nice place of stay not nice very disappointed
Melvyn from Nottingham (23 June 2017)

The caravan was immaculate. Area beautiful. Staff apart from 1 chelsea who was gd the rest didnt look very happy and did not look as though they enjoyed their jobs. Food was terrible. Swimming pool shut at 5 and for lunch which is far too early, shop too. I felt as though beautiful as the scenery and site were it was let down by not been organized to its full potentional
Lucy from Whitstable (16 June 2017)

Our caravan was so bad I took photos. I was under the impression that it was dog friendly! and was told 'but not in the bar'. I was expecting to look out to the sea not a big tree.
Christine from Highworth (16 June 2017)

Unfortunately our caravan was pretty worn and there was no hot water at all. Site shower facilities were the worst we have seen, and we have camped a lot. There were loads of hairs in the bedding, and the shower was cracked and mouldy. Really disappointing standards.
Cath from Taunton (05 June 2017)

Had a very nice holiday, but on arrival found no tv remote control or aerial ,plus no hit water.despite being told complaints would be sorted that evening, nothing happened.it took me going to reception the following day, and complaining more forcefully, before anything was done.
Alan from Go Sport Hants (05 June 2017)

Caravan very dirty and in need of scraping due to the wear on the caravan. . yes it was a pet van but it was very very.old.and.dirty .
Trish from Stoke (19 May 2017)

Love the place
Barbara from Dudley (05 May 2017)

Very good overall very clean caravan .helpful staff
David from Waterlooville (28 April 2017)

Caravan old,but perfectly functional. Shop on site well stocked and delicious hot pies in morning. Bar and restaurant just o k, but this could have been due to it being the start of the season. All in all value for money and we would willingly go again.
Martin from Stroud,Glos (28 April 2017)

Lovely caravan lovely site and very helpful staff.
David from Berkhamsted Herts. (28 April 2017)

The park is in a pleasant position but there is nothing in the area to make us want to visit again.
David from Boston (24 April 2017)

The night entertainment was rubbish. The accommodation was very basic out dated n very uncomfortable beds to sleep in. Only thing we liked about the park was the views.
Emma from Abedare, South Wales (24 April 2017)

Entertainment wasn't the best kids play room alright. Nice food and bar . staff.
Victoria (22 April 2017)

Would definitely visit again. Great value for money.
Jean from Birmingham (21 April 2017)

Everything was fantastic, except one thing. When I entered inside bed cover, pillow, bed sheet nothing was ready . it was just on top of bed. I felt embarrassed infront of my family . I think at least we except bed ready us. Hope you guys understand
Mohammad from London (17 April 2017)

Lovely site, caravan in a quiet location which was nice. Plenty of facilities on site and a short walk into the town ( via steep bank). I would stay here again lovely site & area.
Jennifer from Ripon (17 April 2017)

Caravan was not cleaned dust every where carpets full of dog hair realy dissapointed
Adriana (17 April 2017)

My mum has a disability so was very hilly for her. The caravan wasn't very clean when we arrived and the beach access was very steep stairs so impossible for my mum to get down there. The beach wasn't one which was able to be used just rocks.
Hannah from London (17 April 2017)

Just came back from a fab week at sandaway beach, staff were more than helpful, gold static caravan was clean, spacious and well looked after.
Joanne from Dy2 (17 April 2017)

Lovely holiday - staff very friendly and helpful - couple of minor issues (bulb gone in lounge and toilet on arrival, no frying pan in caravan). reported to reception and resolved within 15 minutes. staff always happy to help. locating fantastic for visiting local area. children enjoyed kids clubs and evening entertainment. would definitely go there again.
Michelle from Ashford, Kent (15 April 2017)

Great park, convenient location, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable facilities. Such a relaxing atmosphere it gave my boyfriend plenty of time to plan on leaving me for his side-chick when we got back. Food could of been better.
Sarah from York (14 April 2017)

Lovely park , pool not heated and every night not enough seating in club house
Amanda from Cardiff (14 April 2017)

Good park small and friendly
Marina from Bristol (10 April 2017)

Last minute booking for a long weekend away, the caravan was lovely the view was beautiful and we had lovely family walks to the cove
Patricia from Bristol (13 March 2017)

The only down side was I reported that the bedroom floor was very wet the staff were very helpful and said they would send someone to inspect it on the day we arrived this did not happen we both showed went out came back the room was very damp in the morning I went in he wardrobe to get my clothes and some had slip of the hanger they were wet though went up to reception told them the wetness might becoming from bathroom we moved all clothes out of room because they were all damp nobody fixed it while we were there and the bedroom was damp every night but apart from that we enjoyed our stay yours sincerely mrs school swan
Susan from Mansfield (23 September 2016)

Was first given keys for caravan no 10 which was disgusting, old and very dirty. Lady on reception changed it for a better one. Cleaner but still old and bedding smelt damp. Went out and bought our own. Staff very helpful which is why my scores arent lower
Linda from Hull (23 September 2016)

We are coming back next year!
Michael from Bushey (03 September 2016)

Caravan was dirty and stink inside.full off dogs hair
Grzegorz from Crewe (02 September 2016)

Caravan superb takeaway not bad clubhouse entertainment a bit silly and private beach 74 steps and when you got down there you couldn't get to waters edge with all the rocks
Eileen from Coventry (02 September 2016)

We had a great time the pool was good and so was the entertainment, the local attractions and nearby beaches were good too and big far away, only downside was we had to wait till 16.00pm to check in and when we did the room was not clean and we had to clean for the first hour of our holiday and nearly all of the arcades in the kids entertainment room were out of order, other then that it was a perfect little site.
Michael (02 September 2016)

Small friendly site well maintained and clean in a great location
Carol from Portsmouth (02 September 2016)

This is not a 5* resort. It is however very good value for money in a superb location and we would definately return. The staff were friendly and down to earth. I think some people expect too much for their money. The budget caravan is dated and basic but after all it is a budget caravan. If you want luxury don't book basic and complain.
Rebecca from Bolton (02 September 2016)

We had an absolutely wonderful time and our stay at the sandaway beach holiday park was great. The park is clean and tidy, with the staff constantly working hard to ensure it stays that way. The caravan was larger than expected and was clean and tidy. The location is brilliant and the view from the site is amazing. Our 9 year old son loved the heated swimming pool and the life guard was very friendly and helpful. Both the shop and bar on site is great and had a couple of meals from the takeaway service provided. I can not fault the site at all and would definitely stay again.
Kate from Hornchurch (02 September 2016)

Disgusting accomadations.. dog poo, wee cigarette ends all in our chalet, staff refused to move us.. I even offered to pay extra.. vile vile accomadations..
Kayleigh (02 September 2016)

I had a lovely holiday and would go back again beautiful views
Gemma from Greenwich (02 September 2016)

Very pleasant holiday park. very good and friendly staff. very good value for money
Geoff from Frome (02 September 2016)

Excellent location and great facilities
Richard from Sutton Coldfield (02 September 2016)

Cheap and the best holyday I ever had. All the facilities within the reach. staff are friendly. Highly recommended if you are after a budget holiday without compromising the comfort and fun.
Kishore from Kettering (29 August 2016)

Had a fab caravan fantastic views would love to stay again
Sharon from Taunton (29 August 2016)

Although it is a lovely site with fantastic sea views, the park is lacking in plenty of outdoor space for children to play ball and the play area is far too small. as the caravans are packed in tight, there isn't even anywhere to sit outside the caravan on a nice day
Claire from Bristol (29 August 2016)

We had an excellent time and the best holiday we have had for a long time. Couldn't fault anything at all. Will be returning next year!
Nick (26 August 2016)

Had a chalet in the summer holidays and the family had a great time. The outdoor pool was used everyday (it's warmer when it's raining) and we went to the club house every night and was brilliantly entertained every night. The only bad point I have is the the soft play and games room is unsupervised and every night tried to take my 3 year there during bingo but every night it was full of teenagers throwing everything at each other and climbing all over the equipment.
Natalie from Blackwood (22 August 2016)

Our holiday was really good!!! thank you :)))) we loved the caravan and all the staff were really helpful
Emilia from Plymouth (22 August 2016)

Budget caravan very dirty tired /old. Was not cleaned before we came to take it over to start our holiday. My wife complained when we took the keys back at the end of the holiday. All in all a good stay but would not recommend a budget caravan at this park.
John (15 August 2016)

Good base
Trevor (15 August 2016)

It's a lovely place to go, staff were friendly, caravan was clean, entertainment was gd aswell
Kim from Plymouth (15 August 2016)

We all had a lovely holiday. Nice quiet site . great location for taking the dogs for a walk. Would stay here again.
Donna from Coventry (13 August 2016)

We had a platinum caravan and we enjoyed it very much!
Jerosine (12 August 2016)

Caravan was not value for money, due to the lack of cleaniness, sheets not fitting the bed.
Kathy (12 August 2016)

Caravan was basic but it did the job. We spent time in ilfracombe which is so beautiful! the club house is like something from a peter kay show, not for us but others seemed to like it. The soft play was pretty basic on site. The on site shop was great, staff very friendly and has most of what you might need. There is so much to see around the area it was a great place to stay.
Paula from Bristol (12 August 2016)

Lovely park, friendly staff, clean warm pool, and were given a free upgrade to a platinum caravan. Had a lovely 5 day break. Loved the private beach too
Louise from Bramley (12 August 2016)

The view from our caravan was lovely looking out to the sea, but the caravan was dirty and stank of dog, when I reported it to staff they turned round and said the would get me some febrezze to spray which didn't work. I had to go and find a hoover as the caravan was so dirty and I had 3 young children and didn't want them walking in dirt. The restaurant took forever and I thought it was bad that the kids entertainment started at the same time as when the restaurant opened and then my daughters weren't interested in eating as they wanted to join in with the entertainment. By the time the food came out and my daughters had finished the kids entertainment had finished.
Laura from Worcester (05 August 2016)

Lovely location but club house was small and although outdoor pool lovely and warm, it was dirty with lots of floating bits :(. caravan was good and we had a bronze. combe martin is a lovely seaside village.
Natalie from Watford (05 August 2016)

Booked a bronze caravan for self catering. Caravan was dirty and the cooker and oven failed to light ended up eating out most nights. Complained to hoeseasons and no response. Location was excellent. Accomodation even though paid 40% off was not value for money.
Richard from Nottingham (05 August 2016)

The staff were wonderful couldn't fault them, restaurant/takeaway was amazing, more than value for money.
Matt from Andover (05 August 2016)

Caravan was situated right next to exit which backed onto the main road. The whole 1 side of caravan was dark due to plants/bushes meaning we couldnt open windows. Caravan was cold and damp. Bedding was left on the only bedroom with natural light, it felt damp. housekeeping clearly hadnt been as there was rubbish under beds, melted sweets at the side of double bed. Shower pole was encrusted with rust ( was fixed upon complaint) kitchen sink drainer was slimey (had to clean before using). vent in kitchen was full of cobwebs. Frying pan was thick with black burned on food remnants( this was replaced upon complaint also). overall the caravan was tired, unclean, cold and damp. Our clothes by the end of the week also felt damp from hanging in wardrobes. . on site shop was incredibly over priced £2.15 for 6 bread rolls is a bit steep. Shame as the site itself is in a beautiful location. 74 steps down to a lovely cove but be careful as handrail was broken!
Amanda from Hurley/ Atherstone (01 August 2016)

Lovely staff, good entertainment, nice deep pool, shame you can't get the large rocks removed from the private beach
Stephen from Oxford (30 July 2016)

A nice clean park set in a nice location , easy access to local attractions, friendly staff and good value for money
Customer 101 from Stratford Upon Avon (30 July 2016)

We were impressed with the caravan and the surrounding area of the park. The caravan was clean and well equipped for a family. The park was well kept and clean and tidy. We did walk down to the mermaid cove beach and the hand rail was broken which with 74 steep steps could cause an accident. The pool was clean and warm and my children enjoyed swimming in it. The food at the venue was nice and well presented. We attended the evening entertainment and for a small venue enjoyed it. My daughter was dissapointed there weren't any 2p machines in the childrens play area.
Victoria from Cardiff (29 July 2016)

Beautiful views, and nice swimming pool and easy walk into town, landscaping was lovely very mature and lush environment. . however the buildings and facilities rather dated and nothing really for teenagers to do. Would be great for very young kids in one of the newer caravans/ chalets, do not book number 24!. . the bar staff were lovely and shop well equipped (although bit pricey) there are shops in coombe martin however.
Sarah from Oxford (29 July 2016)

Wrong sheets, hot water didn't work until end of day two. Couldn't lock the window in the kitchen because of no key. Poor generally. Staff were good considering.
Adrian (29 July 2016)

Had a great holiday location good all holiday accommodation had a sea view would certainly recommend.
Joyce from Gainsborough (25 July 2016)

Campsite was nice, just a shame about the caravans.
Pauline from Hucknall, Nottingham (23 July 2016)

Lovely site with good sea views. Club house dated. No wifi in caravan, had to go to the club house to get it. otherwise very pleasent and well maintained site.
Hilary from Nuneaton (16 July 2016)

We had to leave early as father critically rushed into hospital so only enjoyed half for the full price unfortunately :-( but really enjoyed the 3 days we were there. Love the location and was the third time we had visited combe martin with john fowlers
Carl from Wolverhampton (16 July 2016)

Great. Would love to go again. Lovely staff. Clean surrounding. Lots to do. Places to go nearby. Car essential
Anna from Brighton (15 July 2016)

Really lovely park excellent accommodation. Entertainment too child centred and beach is difficult to access but lovely place
Ron from Hungerford (11 July 2016)

Fantastic holiday..spotlessly clean , staff fantastic and very friendly.
Colin (11 July 2016)

The views at the park were phenomenal, caravan was in need of repair, torn sofa and chairs, dodgey table that broke and the grill was not very good. clubhouse and 'amusement' arcade could do with a re-vamp. got what we paid for though and the views were spectacular, park was clean and safe.
Katie from Dudley (04 July 2016)

Clean and well maintained site. Private beach difficult access and rocky but good for exploring. Quiet and relaxing good value.
Martin from Norfolk (01 July 2016)

The views are amazing and the site is great just a shame the caravan was bad there were dog hairs all over and black mould in the shower in general it was run down and needed an upgrade
Michael from Nottingham (01 July 2016)

Was told I had a seaview caravan on phone then arrived too not one. Manger on shift too busy eating her tea too discuss my query
Tracy (27 June 2016)

My wife and I had a four night stay on a late deal. we didn't spend too much time on the site itself preferring trips out but what we saw of it it was nice and staff helpful. . we would have liked to stay for longer to explore the area more.
Robert from Chorley (24 June 2016)

Really lovely place , fantastics base for the area, staff were freindly, shame tehy dont take cards at teh bar or resturant
Wendy from Wsm (20 June 2016)

The caravan was lovely and clean and really well equipped. In caravan 121 there was no parking space at the side of the caravan, only at the end, as the external door opened onto a fence. There was only a 1.5 metre gap between the fence and bushes and the caravan door which made it quite difficult to carry luggage from and to the car. In rainy weather the path at the side of the caravan leading to the door was full of mud as it had very few flagstones laid down, therefore on entry to the caravan mud was trodden in every single time. By laying a full flagstone path this would be improved. . the site facilities were good apart from the waiting time for food at the take away which was over an hour. Also the take away did not take card transactions, only cash, and in this technological age you would expect to be able to pay by card.
Kathryn from Wigan (18 June 2016)

Had a wonderful time. it is situated very close to the beach and shops and has wonderful views.
Vanessa from Nottingham (17 June 2016)

We realise that it was only a budget hollidays but you do expect certain standards and the caravan was way below an acceptable standard it was tired dirty extremely basic and falling apart my wife had to clean the caravan herself before we could put our stuff in it see photographs when we booked the holliday it said free wifi what it didn't not say was that you could only get it at the reception and our caravan could not have been further away from the reception all in all it was not a nice experience and we actually came home on the wednesday night instead of the friday.
Peter (17 June 2016)

Brand new accommodation, no problems. We even had good weather.
Michael from Hereford (28 May 2016)

Excellent holiday park in a beautiful area. Needs a safe path to walk to the village.

Caravan site was not good for my wife as she is disabled and can't walk far,the parking next to the caravan was a mud heap so I could not park my car on it so every day I had to pick my wife up and take her back I spoke to one of your staff to see if she could move us to a caravan nearer the main car but she said it could not be done.we loved the caravan but not the site.

Great resort, small but lovely position. Coombe martin a short stroll away. In a great position for ilfracombe, lynton lynmouth short drive away. Great beaches for rock pooling. Lovely view of the sea from the caravan. Will certainly return.

Beautiful scenery, caravan was immaculate, facilties were and entertainment for children was poor.
Rob from Southampton (28 March 2016)

Sandaway beach is clean and the staff friendly.disapointed in caravan as it was very old and bedroom very cold as heater not to good.stripies were friendly and appeared very good with children althou they did seem to talk more to each other around pool.the uniforms didnt fit and they didnt seem as proffetional as other entertainment teams weve met.the term caberet was a little misleading but we enjoyed the beat bingo which was new to us.

Lovely site .very friendly. We had a brand new caravan which made our holiday. The clubhouse was very quiet but was early season so was expected. The clubhouse could do with a re vamp and the sister site is creepy and poor but over all I woukd recommend this site

Very nice park, beautiful sea views from park. Small and friendly club, we stayed half term week and there was entertainment every night. . our caravan was comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. small shop on site for basic shopping. . heated swimming pool still in use in october which was very popular. play area for children. would stay here again, although it is a drive to other local attractions. A good holiday.
Sands (31 October 2015)

We thought the site was very nice the caravan just needs to be updated! as things were definitely getting a little tired!
