A beautiful lodge, well equipment and incredibly comfortable. Clean and everything you could possibly ask for.
Hazel from Helston (13 November 2017)

Absolutely beautiful lodge in a very secluded and relaxing location. we thoroughly enjoyed everything about this lodge.

Lovely cosy and clean lodge and hot tub
Nathan from Cwmbran (13 November 2017)

Fantastic holiday. Lovely accommodation and very helpful staff. Highly recommend.
Sam from Redruth. Cornwall. (10 November 2017)

Amazing place and staff! can't fault them:). this is my fifth time staying and will keep coming again and again
Jack (10 November 2017)

Perfect, tranquil & relaxing
Kristina from Bristol (06 November 2017)

The holiday in general was good. Was very disappointed as the hot tub we had stopped working on one full day. So we lost out on that. As all lodges were taken we had to go without so that spoilt it for us as we saved that day purposely to just unwind a relax in the hot tub as we only booked for 3 nights.
Hayley from Gloucester (06 November 2017)

Absolutely enjoyed the stay. Wish didn't have to leave early. Very relaxed
Hazel from Bristol (06 November 2017)

Lovely holiday in a beautiful lodge. will be coming again
Michael from Walsall (05 November 2017)

Perfect as last tiem we stayed. Warm, comfortable, luxury in a peaceful setting. Nearly everything within about half an hour drive. Nearby good chippy too! holsworthy has a stunning café called 'filter through' on north rd - epic pies and cakes. Roadford lake is great for a walk and café with kids play area and opportunity to take a canadian canoe out from the opposite shore. Bude is great for a coastal visit - castel café is great, as is the pasty shop 'pengenna pasties' - baked before your eyes and I know people travel way off track to go there. Great sweet shop for the kids on belle vue called 'sosweet'. another lovely café in bude called 'coffee pot cafe' at the top end of belle vue - eggs benedict etc.. steam train ride in launceston from eth old gasworks on priory lane is great - if going the play farm and café at the end of the line then take cash - great place on a nice day. Can you tell we like food?! so - great place to stay - and lots to do not far away :o)
Oliver from Cardiff (03 November 2017)

Lovely site and very helpful staff. only complaint that there was not enough seating for 6 adults.
Kathryn from Nelson (03 November 2017)

Perfect get away when the other half! the lodge was stunning and very clean, brilliant layout and clean hot tub! everything we needed could be found in the kitchen. The country side was silent and right next to dartmoor, it was so peaceful! make sure you do a big food shop all in one as there isn’t many shops about
Isabella from Salisbury (03 November 2017)

Brilliant place to relax even with kids
Matthew from Birmingham (30 October 2017)

Our 3rd time visiting and was very disappointed in this lodge (no 27 ) , the offer 2 times we have stayed in different ones and they were both too spec and very luxurious , unfortunately we’re going again in march and have been allocated 27 again , really hoping I can change it
Tracy from Henstridge (28 October 2017)

The lodge was spacious but the bed small and uncomfortable. Storage could be reduced to make sure way.
Ann from Hampshire (27 October 2017)

We had a lovely family stay at ruby country lodges. the cabin was very comfortable and well equipped and the surroundings were beautiful. we made full use of the hot tub at the beginning and close of everyday and it was a very special time. would definitely recommend to others and plan to return.
Jacqueline from Maidenhead (27 October 2017)

It was great- a real break away from everyday life. We’ve been to the same park 3 times now, and will definitely be back!
Caroline from Calne (14 October 2017)

A great romantic getaway
Nigel from Bristol (06 October 2017)

Absolutely beautiful lodge, with the facilities advertised very understated in comparison. Beautiful hot tub just outside the door, always hot and ready to go. We also had a jacuzzi double bath and jacuzzi double shower. Totally unexpected. The kitchen was great and well equipped. Could have done with another dishwasher tablet but in all great. . the bed really let the lodge down though. It was a small double and the mattress was unbearable, we didn’t sleep well 3/4 nights. Wish it was better quality because that’s a big part of re booking.
Peri from Shaftesbury (06 October 2017)

Very nice staff made us feel very welcome , nice lodge plenty of space , clean . amazing big bath
Dean from Portsmouth (02 October 2017)

Very nice and quiet
David (02 October 2017)

Cannot fault the holiday at all. not one problem. Slept like a log, furniture all comfortable everything you needed in the kitchen. my only issue, but we knew this when we booked would be locality but that was not a problem. andy was fantastic and his colleagues were most helpful.
Wendy from Waterlooville (30 September 2017)

Lovey location, friendly staff. The spec of the lodge was really high and th hot tub was amazng
Adam from Canterbury (29 September 2017)

Its a lovely place for people who like peace and quiet and a relaxing romantic break.
Debbie (25 September 2017)

We had a lovely stay here. The lodge was clean, tidy and cosy and the staff were brilliant! we paid extra for the hemmingway package and it definitely didn't disappoint, excellenct local produce!
Savannah from Crewkerne (24 September 2017)

It was outstanding all you could hear were birds singing and hot tubs bubbling oh and of course the odd champagne cork popping. Would return tomorrow
Neil from Halesowen West Midlands (22 September 2017)

The ruby lodge we stayed in was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. unfortunately the location lets it down, even though the site is beautiful there is nothing else in the area, there are no facilities on site and nothing at all within walking distance, it's probably fine if you really need to "get away from it all". halwill is 2 miles away and a car is essential to get there as there are no pavements, although when you arrive there is nothing really there apart from a very tired and dirty pub and a small shop. The only decent place to eat was the rydon inn which is approximately 10 miles away! bude was a lovely place but is 20 miles away. okehampton was great for stocking up on groceries but again was 11 miles away! if you really want total isolation or to have a driving holiday this is the place for you.
Sharon from Deal, Kent (16 September 2017)

A lovely break in a lovely lodge. Staff went out of their way to make us welcome.
Linda from Cb6 1Dq (16 September 2017)

Amazing facilities and beautiful lodge. Hot tub was really nice as well.
Rebecca from Coventry (15 September 2017)

Very helpful staff!. fabulous accommodation with nice little extras!. poorly signposted, we got lost each time we went out despite using our sat nav!!. lovely quiet site.
Jane from Bristol (11 September 2017)

For an autograph lodge we were disappointed at the cleanliness of the lodge - the kitchen in particular was very 'greasy' and I felt I had to clean the crockery and cutlery before using . we felt the lodge had had a hard life and was in need of some updating compared to others we have had. The site itself was peaceful but there is no where to walk to apart from around the site itself as the road leading to the site is very narrow with no where to go if you met a car while walking.
Steve (11 September 2017)

Nice quiet place for a much needed rest. Hot tub made it special.
Trevor from Havant, Hampshire (08 September 2017)

Fabulous lodge in a lovely setting, if your looking to unwind and chill out this is the place for you !. after time spent exploring the beautiful north devon coast it was a joy to come back and chill and use the hot tub. Spotless with all mod cons, we found the staff very helpful. We will definitely be retuning to this site, we had a very relaxing time.
Tony from Portsmouth (01 September 2017)

This was a lovely last minute break. A very quiet and tranquill place.
Rachel from Spalding (01 September 2017)

This was one of the best holidays i've ever had. We were able to relax as a family, at the same time feel energised by the wonderful hot tub, and the pretty grounds. As soon as the holiday was over, I started looking into when we could book up to go back again. This is a rare find. Thank you.
Laura (28 August 2017)

Beautiful lodge in a lovely, remote area! the lodge was very clean and had everything you may need on your visit. The staff were very informative and friendly. Absolutely loved our stay, the highlight has to be the hot tub! would definitely return for another stay.
Harriet from Liphook (25 August 2017)

Beautiful lodge with hot tub, one of the better ones i've ever stayed in. Fantastic & helpful staff. Just a couple of tiny touches that would of helped, larger mugs for tea/coffee, some plastic cups/plates for young children & the bed was rather low albeit comfy! would highly recommend to anyone!
Emma from Norwich, Norfolk (19 August 2017)

Fantastic holiday. Good location to visit surrounding devon and cornwall . staff very supportive happy and friendly. Log cabin felt like it was a five star accommodation . I wouldn't stay again only because I do not visit anywhere twice but I would definitely recommend this to anyone
Joan from Leeds (19 August 2017)

Was disappointed with our lodge - not the same standard we are used to. dated and in need of some updating. was a bit dirty on arrival and lots of little niggles that just didn't make it the luxurious lodge we expected for an autograph lodge. if we came back to this area we would not stay here again.
Tiffany from Bognor Regis (12 August 2017)

Great. The only things that would make it better are sunny days and wifi!
Angela (12 August 2017)

Absolutely amazing lodge with everything you could wish for on your holiday.
Alison (11 August 2017)

Fully enjoyed the lodge and hot tub at ruby country lodges. Unfortunately, we had a very wet week!
Denise from Blackburn (05 August 2017)

Beautiful lodge in quiet surroundings.
Amanda from Hartford (04 August 2017)

The lodge was complete luxury. The hot tub was amazing, location amazing and the staff amazing. Could not fault a single thing and would 100% recommend to anyone
Sally (04 August 2017)

Great place, we stayed from monday to friday in the last week in july 17. There is nothing on the site and its remote, but, this is what we wanted. On arrival the guy was most helpful and showed us around the lodge, which incidentally was ideal for our stay. Perfect for a family of 4, great bedrooms and loads of room - I cant really find anything to mention. I would stay there again and the hot-tub was most welcome. We dont want for alot as a family and were to happy to use it as a base to go out and about during the day and relax in the evening. It was a nice break away from busy holiday parks and my 9 and 6 year old enjoyed it as much as a 2 week disney holiday to florida in april. They were able to play outside the lodge on the grass, ride on their bikes and scooters, play with a ball and frisby, everything that kids should be outside doing but dont nowadays. Also there is no wifi which is ideal!
Rob from West Midlands (28 July 2017)

Very good
Linda from Rhyl (28 July 2017)

We stayed at tge ruby lodges as a family of 4 for a week in july. . we thought the lodge was beautiful with personal touches to make our stay even better. . the lodge is individualized with a hot tub that made the holiday extra special. . andrew the manager was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome throughout. . the site was relaxed, quiet, clean and well looked after. Perfect for couples and families with older children. . we enjoyed the site so much we would definately return. . the local area boasted a village called halliwal which re we ate twice at the lovely junction inn pub. The landlord was friendly and the food was beautiful. please do visit there and enjoy. the desserts were amazing. . . the location was ideally situated for bude (30 mins away) visited croyde and ilfracombe too. the weather was poor that week but so much to do and see it didn't matter and even went in the hot tub in the rain. just gorgeous !
Natasha from Loughborough (24 July 2017)

Andrew was so helpful and the lodge was fantastic. Great value for money I would definitely stay again, I highly recommend
Ben from Penarth (21 July 2017)

It was amazing. We are already planning our trip back. Wasn't disappointed with anything. You have everything you need there. Quiet, relaxing and beautiful.
Meg (17 July 2017)

Superb ..we really enjoyed our stay..staff extremely helpful ..lodge very luxurious as was the hot tub..surroundings beautifully peaceful & quiet ..we would definately stay again
David from East Yorkshire (15 July 2017)

Nice site but a longer drive than anticipated to north coast
Stephen (14 July 2017)

Absolutely love it here this is our 8th visit we just keep coming back. Lodges are clean and spacious and well equipped. Hot tubs are perfect and the staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble. A big thumbs up from us.
Sonia from Bridgwater (10 July 2017)

We had a lovely weeks stay 1st - 7th july lodge was lovely nice quite surroundings hot tub was a lovely way to relax
Kevin from Portsmouth (08 July 2017)

We went here monday till friday for our honeymoon and it was just fantastic. The staff were brilliant and showed us everything we needed to know. The facilities are next to none and we loved the hot tub and especially the shower with many settings. We ordered a hamper as well which was a range of local produce which was brilliant. The location is so quiet and relaxing. We couldn't fault anything and will be certainly returning.
Katy from Eastbourne (07 July 2017)

We have stayed in this lodge a number of times, along with other tamar lodges. This was our 10th visit. Great area, you need a car to get the most of your holiday. . would highly recommend.
Paula from Weybridge, Surrey (01 July 2017)

We found the lodge to be very well looked after ,clean and tidy.although the boiler broke after a few days the staff were very helpful and arranged for us to use another lodge so we could use the shower.very peacefull setting and had a great rest.

Narrow road to get too the lodges. The park very well laid out, and the lodge was in very good condition.

Beautiful site, very peaceful and private. Perfect for a get away from it all break.
Joanne from Preston (10 June 2017)

Such a lovely part of the country. We visited bude, bodmin, clovelly, torquay and launcester. Weather wasn't great, but we made the most of it.
Sarah from Maidstone (10 June 2017)

Absolutely lovely. Spent our honeymoon there. . very peaceful
Graham from Peterborough (09 June 2017)

Second visit now and just as beautiful with the best location for a quiet relaxed holiday. The lodges are stunning and this place is now my favourite place. Part of me didn't want to write this review as I don't want to share it. Lol
Tim from Bromsgrove (03 June 2017)

Middle of nowhere, but that didn't bother us. A few minor issues with the lodge that were resolved immediately. Very clean and well maintained. Relaxed atmosphere. The lodge was a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful area. Lydford gorge was amazing as was river dart park for the kids. Widemouth bay great for bodyboarding. Lifeguarded but stoney beach-can hire shoes there. Would def return.
Shelley (02 June 2017)

Nice quite place not to far from bude
Peter from Malvern (27 May 2017)

Excellent stay, 2nd year in a row and would go back tommirow
Ian from Salisbury (27 May 2017)

Second visit to this site. Thoroughly chilled out and enjoyed as before. Very quite site which is the appeal for us. If you want to unwind this is for you.
Martyn (19 May 2017)

Staff were superb, location a tad isolated . lodge was brilliant and we loved the hot tub
Neil from Lincolnshire (13 May 2017)

Worth every penny!
Martin from Bridport (12 May 2017)

Absolutely fantastic as always this was our second time visiting and we loved it we will be looking to book next year
Terri-Anne from Stonehouse (05 May 2017)

Very quiet and peaceful site. The roads could on site could do with being tarmacadam.
Katrina from Bristol (05 May 2017)

Could not wish for a more relaxing and peaceful location. The lodge was excellent and clean. Could not wish for a better stay.
Jason (05 May 2017)

Fantastic first holiday as a couple. Fantastic lodge and the hot tub was just perfect. The night sky looking at the stars made it perfect. Thank you. We will be back
Martyn from Bristol (01 May 2017)

3rd time back to park . andrew park manager very helpful my only complaint would be bed bit small king size would fit and be much better some fittings in hot tub loose was a bit worried was going to be blamed for damage as not much of a introduction and walk around to lodge this time when we arrived but pointed this all out to andrew the following morning and he assured us he was aware of the hot tub faults out light bulbs were also blown of which he replaced 2 out of the 4 that were blown but it was enough for us to see at night
Ian from Surrey (29 April 2017)

Amazing time away. Lovely lodge and andrew was fantastic!!! definitely coming back here asap.
Hannah from Bristol (24 April 2017)

A lovely relaxing stay.
Lucy from Stafford (21 April 2017)

Lovely cabin with all you need. Hot tub was great at the end of a long day sightseeing. Would definitely stay again. Maybe a bit quiet for some as there is not much on the site itself and you are surrounded by fields. For us it was ideal as the kids could play freely outside.
Paul from Sutton Coldfield (21 April 2017)

For quiet and peaceful surroundings this location is ideal. site manager friendly and welcoming. grounds for kids to explore and central green area/trees nicely kept. . road to site could be better if speed bumps were clearly marked! caravan/lodge concrete bases waiting to be sold do give the site the look of being run down. . value for money only 7 because it was slightly discounted due to last minute booking - otherwise it would have been a 6.
Philip from Oxfordshire (21 April 2017)

There were four of us - two adults, a 7 year old and a 5 year old. We all had a fabulous time. Peace and tranquillity were on order and that's we got, aside from the obvious and unavoidable bickering amongst the kids every now and then! the lodge was so much more spacious than we expected - and with luxury finishing touches. Much higher quality than the usual cramped, yet still nice, caravan experience, and certainly no more expensive! good chippy at karen' kitchen nearby. We'll be going back.
Oliver from Cardiff (21 April 2017)

I can't rate this highly enough, fantastic location, friendly staff, wonderful hot tub. my family and and I spent 3 days here over easter and it was fab. we cycled to the local reservoir (8 miles away) and it is only 30 minutes from bude and widemouth bay, bude canal great for kayaking and widemouth bay fantastic body boarding. would definately recommend. if I had to look for improvements, the venetian blinds in the lodge needed attention and the bed rolled together but apart from that immaculate. would definitely go back.
Stephen from Nailsworth (17 April 2017)

Beautiful and quiet location. Lodge more than adequately equipped and beautifully presented. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Julie from Macclesfield (31 March 2017)

Absolutely amazing place beautiful lodges and luxury hot tubs. The staff are extremely helpful and cannot do enough to help you. perfect location for exploring devon and cornwall. very high standard of accommodation and a very relaxing setting.

This is an absolute treat for a couple as it is both idyllic and romantic. It is a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. The lodge is gorgeous and value for money.

A little too remote for us but we still had an enjoyable few days away.

Absolutely fantastic holiday. Very peaceful and relaxing. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Sue from Newport (30 September 2016)

This was our fourth visit to ruby country lodges in oakhampton and after this year will be our last! very disappointed with the lodge
Customer 102 from Newport (30 September 2016)

Such a beautiful lodge inside and out, such luxurious fixtures and extras like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels etc! hot tub well maintained, no time restrictions like other places! so peaceful! in the middle of nowhere which we loved! andrew the manager was so friendly and helpful, I can't rate it highly enough! we loved our week there and would love to go back!
Antony from Brandon, Suffolk (30 September 2016)

Lovely relaxing time, peace and quiet with nothing around so just relaxing
Debbie from Bristol (26 September 2016)

This was the 3rd time we've stayed at ruby country lodges. As always we had a lovely relaxing break.
Julie from Poole (23 September 2016)

The perfect 'get away from it all break' to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. the lodge (no 34) was immaculate and the hot tub just perfect for staring up at the stars at night with a (plastic) glass of bubbly. the staff were so friendly and helpful with advice about the best walks and cycle trails for us. we loved the fact it was away from everything so if you want to take a step off the treadmill of life and kick back and relax, this is the place to come. we will be back :)
Ashley from Leicester (16 September 2016)

The location was far more remote than we thought and this is the only reason why I would not return. Staff are fantastic and the lodge we stayed in was perfect. If you want to park up, unpack and lounge for a week then this is the ideal place for you.
Julie from Cwmbran (10 September 2016)

A very quiet site, but made for a lovely relaxing family holiday. The lodge was very comfortable with everything we needed. The hot tub was great for all the family. Plenty of places within a short drive to visit. Great beaches at bude, widemouth bay and crackington haven.
Teresa from Birmingham (03 September 2016)

Had a great time,
Natalie from Southampton (02 September 2016)

Great holiday great site. Very helpful staff. Going back for a third time this next year
Ian from Surrey (26 August 2016)

The best lodge i've ever been too . the place is amazing & hot tub is fantastic . will definitely be back ! it was a perfect weekend
Mark from North Wales (15 August 2016)

A lovely well looked after lodge, full of everything you need, from tea, coffee, dishwasher tablets, soap powder and complimentary shower gels. A peaceful site with attentive staff with the added luxury of a private hot tub on your decking. The site is secluded with the closest village store being 3 miles away, you need to drive 10 miles for nearest town/supermarket. . we had a lovely chilled holiday, and loved the narrow lanes driving around, trips to boscastle and port isaac highly recommended. All in all if you want a break away from noise and enjoy walking, cycling or driving out to places then I cannot recommend this site highly enough.
Lisa from Fleet (15 August 2016)

Lovely lodge, friendly staff only downside was the remote location
Corinne from East Yorkshire (13 August 2016)

A little hiccup in the way of a broken hot tub on arrival but was working by day 2 of 7. We were offered use of another one though. The lodge itself was clean and tidy and had everything we needed and more including washing machine, dishwasher, whirlpool bath and a sauna. The staff on site were very helpful and friendly and offered us advise on places to visit. For us the location was perfect, nothing to do on site unless you like talking to the cows as our children found hilarious. Very peaceful great to listen and watch the wildlife and the starry skies at night. We ventured off everyday to places such as plymouth, becky falls, padstow and bude to name a few. All equally beautiful this being the reason is was a perfect site for us as was central. We have booked to return next year in the same lodge and i'm already counting down the days. Highly recommend
Lindsay from Cambridgeshire (13 August 2016)

An enjoyable stay in comfortable accommodation and quite surroundings. Would definitely recommend.
Lee from Essex (06 August 2016)

My family and I (2 small children) had a fantastic week at our lodge. The lodge itself was far better than it looked in the pictures! really clean, comfortable and the hot tub was amazing! a great location to go and explore lots of places and beaches!!!! a really relaxing stay and we would definitely return!
Rachel from Harrogate (06 August 2016)

Lovely lodge with lovely hot tub. so peaceful and quiet. we're already planning our next stay.
Sharon from Wolverhampton (05 August 2016)

Clean, and tidy. Not much to walk round on site. Little isolated from shops but we were aware of this. Good if you want a break from evrything!
Julie (23 July 2016)

Awesome for a nice quiet time away, you can come and go as you please and relax in the hot tub as and when you choose. Great for quite down time.
Kevin from Swindon (23 July 2016)

Great place to stay. Back next year
Benn (18 July 2016)

Fantastic relaxing break away! the lodge was amazing and very much felt like a home. The staff were very kind and we were greeted nicely on our arrival. The setting was very tranquil but was very secluded from the nearest town so meant a few miles drive to the shops. We would definitely like to return in the future and will recommend to others. We went for a relaxing break away and we got what we expected!
Seamus from Horsham (16 July 2016)

Absolutely fantastic. Cannot fault it at all.
Caroline from Nottingham (16 July 2016)

Very nice and quiet relaxing time staff very helpful with information about the site and sourounding area very comfortable cabin and only an hrs drive from most towns, the local pub the junction inn serves nice food and good value for money
Stephen (16 July 2016)

This is the most peaceful setting ever, immaculate lodges with superb furnishings, down side is that there are no on site facilities a camp shop would be great and you have to travel, ideally placed on the edge of dartmoor and the delights of cornwall within a comfortable drive but if you want the most peaceful break ever without traffic noise screaming kids etc---- this is heaven, hot tub is the best way to relax after a days walking up and down devon,s hills, we will return here at some point without hesitation
Steve from Dorset (15 July 2016)

Lovely large and clean lodge with everything you need. everywhere was clean and tidy on arrival and the complimentary tea and coffee a nice if unexpected touch. the hot tub was great and very relaxing in the evening once our little boy had gone to bed. if you want a quiet and relaxing location then this is it.
Michael from Somerset (15 July 2016)

Great cabin quiet spot only thing wrong is if you havent got a car your miles from anywhere
Julie (09 July 2016)

Fantastic location ,lovely lodge ,brilliant hot tub. if your after great entertainment, and a lively site , go somewhere else.if your after a quiet romantic break with lovely surroundings you have found it.
Paul from Bristol (08 July 2016)

Amazing location, beautiful surroundings. Loved the hot tub. Lodge itself didn't have a thing out of place and its within driving distance of some lovely places. So sorry to leave on our last day. Better than some holidays we've had abroad. On site staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Overall a brilliant holiday and memories were made.
Gaz from South Wales (08 July 2016)

Good as ever, our regular holiday location, you need a car, peace and quiet in abundance, great escape from the rat race.
Paula from Weybridge (02 July 2016)

Fab holiday at ruby country lodges. The lodge was beautiful, clean and the jacuzzi bath was an added bonus (lodge 35). we have two small children (3 1/2 years and 11 months) and it was brilliant that the lodge decking was level with the grass so no risk of falling down steps, they were able to run/crawl freely. The hot tub lid also has a strap on (mainly to stop the lid blowing off in the wind) so was great to have that extra safety for the kids. The site was so quiet and staff were very helpful and friendly. The weather was not brilliant but the lodge was spacious enough to enjoy time spent indoors. There was plenty to do, indoors in bad weather and outdoors on our one day of sunshine if you're willing to travel. Bude was a 40 minute drive but we had a beautiful sunny day on the beach and made use of the indoor pool and soft play centre on a rainy day. We visited the milky way amusement park which was great for the kids and not too pricey. Had a lovely cooked breakfast in the garden centre cafe which is on the way to the nearest supermarket (30 minute drive). driving everywhere isn't too bad as its all country roads so doesn't feel as long as it is. We had a power cut one evening due to the weather (no fault of the site and couldn't be helped) but we had a lovely added touch of games and books in one of the cupboards in the lodge so it was an evening of monopoly by torchlight which was great fun! we had a wonderful week (despite the weather) and would definitly recommend the site to young families and couples. We hardly saw anybody and it was so quiet and peaceful with the option of exploring further afield for activities if desired.
Leanne from Northamptonshire (02 July 2016)

Absolutely brilliant, beautiful setting, lovely lodge with excellent facilities. will definitely return.
Ian from Silverdale, Lancashire (01 July 2016)

Loved it! the juccuzi is the clear highlight but it's stunning and quiet too
Naomi (01 July 2016)

Nice clean and well equipped , staff very friendly and helpful . relaxing and peaceful location . plenty of room in lodge , will be going back again .
Simon from South Wales (27 June 2016)

We had a wonderful honeymoon at ruby country lodges. Hot tub was amazing and the log cabin was spot on just beautiful!
Matthew from Shrewsbury (17 June 2016)

This was our second visit to ruby lodges the staff were really helpful and polite
Paul (13 June 2016)

We was looking for a relaxing romantic break for our wedding anniversary and that is just what we got. Will return in the forseeable future.
Jayne from Caerphilly (13 June 2016)

The setting was lovely, deep in the heart of the countryside. There was room for the two boys to enjoy a game of football and we all got plenty of use out of the hot tub. A good location for exploring north devon and north cornwall as we were in driving distance of many tourist attractions
Joanne from Worcester (04 June 2016)

Best uk holiday I have had for ages, lodge number 10 is stunning and lovely and quiet. Already booked for next year after just a week being home. Thank you to andrew and staff at ruby, you should be very proud of your customer service. Excellent in every way
Tim from Bronsgrove (04 June 2016)

Third visit in five years and booked up for september 2017. Fabulous place staff excellent cannot fault it at all.
Mark from Tenterden Kent (04 June 2016)

Lovely stay at this lodge, very relaxing. the manager was very helpful and pleasant. would stay again at a lodge, but we might go to a busier resort next time as it is quite far from activities. lovely and clean, with everything you would need.
Dee from Manchester (03 June 2016)

Beautiful location, had a very relaxing time, staff were helpful and courteous, would definitely return.
Paul from Halesowen (03 June 2016)

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the ruby country lodges. The cabin was spot less and really spacious. It was also equipped with everything you could possibly need. It felt like we were at home. The site was secluded and peaceful and there was plenty of room for our 5 year old to play with his ball and frisbe. We also loved the hot tub and how private that was too. Any staff I came across whilst we were there were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely consider returning here and have recommended it to our family and friends :)
Michelle from Rugeley, Staffordshire (03 June 2016)

Lovely place for peace and quiet very clean everything you need for a great hoilday
Sharon from Salisbury (28 May 2016)

Excellent site, lodge was fantastic, hot tub was amazing
Ian from Salisbury (23 May 2016)

It was the 9th time we have stayed at the ruby, however this time our hot tub was emptied early morning on our departure day which was dissapointing as we all wanted to use it when we got up! before checking out. I was to believe the cabin and hot tub is yours up until you leave!
Jeanette from Bristol (16 May 2016)

Love it here.
Janet from Bristol (13 May 2016)

Pleasant location off the beaten track, very quiet with no traffic noise, just what we were looking for to unwind. nearest shops a few miles away but we this was not a problem as we shopped when out and about. The staff were very helpful and unobtrusive. Would recommend for a great break.
Martyn from Blandford (13 May 2016)

Beautiful surroundings. . clean and lovely log cabin. . staff were friendly and helpful at all times. . we have booked up to go again next year.
Nicole from Yeovil (06 May 2016)

Absolutly fantastic staff lovely place to stay very relaxing will defiantly stay again
Terri-Anne from Gloucester (06 May 2016)

These were very good lodges, and excellent value for the amount we paid. We had probably the quietest lodge on the park, and the lodge that attracted the most sun (when it came out). . . the staff were very helpful, even ringing the day before about what time we could get in to the lodge. This was excellent as they rang with very good news!! . . the only negative about this park is that it is a bit "isolated". the countryside is gorgeous, but the nearest small shop and pub is over 2 miles away, whilst larger supermarkets are about 10 miles away. This is the only thing that would put us off booking again.
Richard from Bedworth (02 May 2016)
