Although we only stayed a weekend it was so relaxing. would certainly go again.
Rodney from Sheffield (03 October 2016)

Place is very quiet, nice if you like that type of thing. The hot tub was ideal, and so relaxing. It is a bit like a luxury caravan rather than a wooden lodge, and the second bedroom is suitable for children only. But we found it all perfect for our little family.
Lisa from Southampton (23 September 2016)

Very tranquil place to stay. Nice to look at the horses in the surroundings. . would be nice to have more information about the site.
Penny from Derbyshire (19 September 2016)

Brilliant! can't wait to stay again!
Benjamin from Norwich (19 September 2016)

Fantastic break in a lovely setting, if you like an away from it all setting this is for you
Mike (16 September 2016)

The site is very pleasant and plenty of quietness. Lots of places to walk around .nice to e able to sit on decking having a drink and watch the wild life passing by. Between the cabin and lakes is a stream which is stagnant water I would've preferred it was moving. Very enjoyable holiday will consider returning.
Trevor from Weston (16 September 2016)

Overall we was really happy with the holiday, plenty of places and things to see a really relaxing short break.
Peter from Driffield (16 September 2016)

A pleasant "away from it all" site, which is maintained very well. hot tub serviced daily. Striking distance from several historical towns. would certainly visit again.
Elaine from Chelmsford (16 September 2016)

Will definitely go again, absolutely loved it, so clean, pretty surroundings, couldn't fault it, would recommend to others.
Russ from Kent (16 September 2016)

Fantastic stay. Staff were so professional and helpful and friendly. Beautiful lodge comfortable and relaxing. Would benefit from more lighting over mirrors and some lamps but apart from that we'll equipped.
Dawn from Tunbridge Wells (09 September 2016)

Exactly what was required. A peaceful break for 2 with no distractions away from the city.
Barry from Crawley (09 September 2016)

Beautiful peaceful surroundings. The lodge was clean and very spacious. We really enjoyed the hot tub with the 'disco ' lights. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody who wants to relax.
Karen from Yorkshire (02 September 2016)

Please advertise as a static caravan's, they are not lodges.
Lee (02 September 2016)

Lovely lodge and hot tub. The weekend we stayed there was a wedding being held in the marquee which was very loud and the music continued till 12.00 - clearly don't want to be a spoil sport but it would have been nice to have been informed.
Vivien from Reading (29 August 2016)

Nice place, but piece and quiet won't be found if like us there was a wedding on site and the disco is literally yards from you're caravan! yes...caravan, lodge is certainly open to interpretation at rosewood lodges. Furthermore, being in a caravan between the wedding party really didn't help the cause for peacefulness. . . in addition we had the dog friendly caravan but the verandas is open with no gate so if you're lucky enough to have warm weather and the doors open, you'll need to hold your dogs the whole weekend. Not that great!
Ben from Colchester (29 August 2016)

Beautiful location - easy to find and lovely area, close to ely centre and cambridge
Jane from Northumberland (26 August 2016)

Amazing short break! everything was perfect, only issue was the slow wifi but I guess we all spent quality time together without access to phones! :)
Fahima from Leicester (22 August 2016)

Stayed in a rosewood 3 holiday home - 2 adults 2 teenagers. good facilities inside home, nice bathroom and kitchen. 2 twin bedrooms are fine for kids but would struggle for adults as beds appear quite short and are very close together. wifi was available but we found it pretty unusable due to low speed. mobile data was much faster even though only on h+ and no 4g coverage on either o2 or vodafone. the hot tub was really good and was serviced daily. only other point would be that it would be nice to have a brick built bbq next to the decking. currently no barbequeues are allowed at all, even outside of the decking area. overall we had a lovely relaxing weekend and would definitely come back.
Susan (15 August 2016)

Lovely place, very remote as in you can't really go anywhere walking with children other than round the paddocks. Lodges are lovely. Clean and adequate for what we required. Would return for maybe a night or 2 break with the wife.
Scott from Canvey (15 August 2016)

Idealic and peaceful surroundings, excellent accomadation, enjoyed resident wildlife. Within easy driving distant of a variety of historic towns and cities.
Geraldine from Welshpool Powys (12 August 2016)

Lovely lodge set in a secure, quiet location, spotlessly clean with friendly staff. We will defiantly return!
Sarah (08 August 2016)

Lovely location,if a little out in the sticks! we took our dog and there are plenty of walks around surroundings. This particular lodge could do with a gate on the end of the walkway just to keep them safely enclosed. Hot tub was great and a tranquil way just to chill out at any time of day. If you were able to fish the lake then that would be added bonus.
Elaine from Ripley, Derbyshire (05 August 2016)

The first few days were slightly spoiled by a rowdy "hen" party in the neighbouring lodge.
Stephen from Ipswich (05 August 2016)

Lovely park and surroundings the only downside was there was no convenience store for daily essentials, lodge was very clean.
Kate from Derby (05 August 2016)

Accommodation was lovely, really big and had a washing machine which wasn't advertised, this was good with a baby! hot tub lovely and cleaned daily. There's nothing on the site although only a short drive to some nice places. I would go again although our holiday was ruined a little by the back door of the cabin not locking and had to sleep 2 nights with the door unlocked before it getting fixed, not great with kids!
Helen from Romford Essex (01 August 2016)

Beautiful and well equipped and maintainedlodges. On-suite in main bedroom, central heating if needed and full size fridge and freezer helps stock all you'll need. Friendly staff with helpful advice re local amenities. Site is peaceful and tranquil. Great base for newmarket, thetford and cambridge . hot tub amazing and serviced daily. Recommended as a place to totally chills.
Tony from Northumberland (29 July 2016)

We enjoyed our break but wouldn't go back due to lack of staff, as we had a thunderstorm which ended with our lodge having rain water co.ung through the closed windows! no one seemed bothered that everything was soaking!
Laura (22 July 2016)

We had a lovely time at the lodge and was impressed with the quality of the decor and the facilities and service. Only thing would make clear to future holidaymakers is that it really is in the middle of nowhere. The web site implies there's a pub nearby (3 mile walk) and a shop on site (no shop). if you are looking for a total relax it's a perfect place.
Tracey (18 July 2016)

The lodge is plagued by flies , loads of them. You spend lots of time chasing around to get rid of them. It means you can't leave the windows open or doors. Within the lodge the facilities were fine. The view is pleasant. It's a few miles to the nearest shops.
Dave from Hull (15 July 2016)

The lodge we stayed in was unclean and the hot tub didnt work until late on the second day. We only stayed three days.
Lauren from Hertfordshire (11 July 2016)

Fab venue - lovely caravan setting and friendly staff upon arrival. However - placed next to a young party who insisted on playing loud music day and night. Despite best efforts of us and staff they did not stop. Others from the party decided to become abisive as we had challenged their behaviour and they were asked to leave the next day. No sleep for 2 nights. Staff gave us 2 bottles of wine as recompense - poor - need to decide is this for families or stay/hen dos and poor poor response from staff in end - feel ripped off - avoid if you're a family
Dave from Southport (11 July 2016)

Very quiet and peaceful get away. Our cabin was clean, very spacious and had all the amenities we required. We loved the hot tub. The lake could use another season or two for the vegetation to mature. The location is convenient for newmarket, cambridge and ely, making it ideal for a weekend getaway.
Louise (04 July 2016)

Lovely place to stay had an amazing time very peaceful and quite would definitely stay there again
Deanna (24 June 2016)

We had a great time at rosewood stud park me and my friends. Our only suggestion would be for the outside decking area where the hot tub is to have a light. Taxi's were easy for us to organise, we got a taxi to ely train station and newmarket with no problem. We got the train to cambridge from ely station as it was a quick and easy option. The accommodation was really clean and very well equipped the little touch of tea bags, milk, sugar and biscuits on arrival is very sweet. We made friends with the park cat and named him charles, the park is really well kept and its good to see the swans and horses etc. Hot tub was easy enough to use and we spent many hours in it! overall we had a brilliant time here.
Ebonie from Maidstone (20 June 2016)

We gad a fantastic time and found the location beautiful. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing weekend
Jemma from Stotfold (20 June 2016)

We had a fantastic four night stay at rosewood and would definitely recommend it. Clean lodge and benefits from having everything you need for your stay. The hot tub was a particular favourite and was kept well maintained by the staff every single morning. Well done rosewood we will definitely be coming back.
Trudy from Chelmsford (17 June 2016)

Nice break and a lovely setting. lodges (more a caravan than a lodge) are clean and well equipped. Bed not very comfortable. Wi fi non existent so bear this in mind before you book. We stayed with friends who stayed in the lodge next door - word of advice please report any 'damage/ faulty items ' found at the at the beginning of your stay as you may be accused of breaking them when you leave as we both were. The management team take a long time to respond and as yet still awaiting a promised refund for something that wasn't our fault.
Paul (03 June 2016)

We had a lovely weekend, 2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs. The lodges are great, brand new and well kitted out. We all loved the hot tub too. . the site has no facilities at all which suited us fine but might not be for everyone. I was disappointed that our 'dog friendly' lodge didn't have a gate on the decking so unable to let dogs out at all without them being on the lead. Overall I would recommend it, nice quiet holiday with newmarket and chippenham close by.
Emily from Peterborough (30 May 2016)

The "lodge" resembled a static caravan and was quite narrow. There were 6 adults and the 2 twin rooms were built for "kids" as the beds were ridiculously small & the adults that were 6 ft or taller could not fit in the beds lengthwise or comfortably. Very disappointed :(
Arlene from Newport Pagnell (30 May 2016)

We thought we were staying in a lodge in fact it was made of metal when we had a storm it sounded as if someone was throwing stones. the bedroom was very small for elderly people to get around. We were only informed of the noise from the wedding when we arrived. we have spent 3 other holidays in wooden lodges and have had a wonderful time.
Glennys from Windsor (27 May 2016)

Absolutely stunning holiday only down side was the dirty sheet we found that wasnt dealt with and left on the bedroom floor all holiday even after a comment to reception.
Rachel from Exeter (27 May 2016)

Although I have said I wouldnt stay again is no detriment to the place , its just that I never stay at the same place twice. We did find the beds very uncomfortable and the two singles were really only suitable for children. Apart from that the setting was lovely and the hot tub made it special and it was convenient for trips to cambridge, newmarket and ely
Alexander from Woodbridge (20 May 2016)

Lovely peaceful weekend away. beautiful setting. Would love to go back.
Amanda from Stroud (16 May 2016)

We had a very good long weekend. The stud is very quiet and a tranquil location. It is fairly new so the lake and hard planting areas are still getting established, will go back in a year or two to see how it's going.
Antony (09 May 2016)

Excellent base . brilliant place to stay for visiting cambridge and ely
Ingajayne from Diss (09 May 2016)

Lovely lodge and nice quiet surroundings. However nothing to do in the local area with children. Only 1 restaurant in the immediate area, menu wasn't great. Used as a base for cambridge and colchester zoo. Caravan was spotless and staff friendly. The 'lake' opposite the lodge was very smelly with stagnant water but you got used to the smell. Hot tub very clean. We did ask if we could take a bbq and were told no, however a caravan a few doors up did have one. . we would defo stay again and would recommend for couples
Bianca (09 May 2016)

We spent an enjoyable weekend here, as we went to the newmarket gold cup weekend, the lodge was lovely , but on 4 chairs around table , but 6 of us want ! . one small thing that was irritating , there was a very large marquee in the grounds, which had a very very noisy and loud disco going on for 5 hours solid, it would have been nice if the owners of the park had given us some advanced warning about this , otherwise everything was good
Valerie from Leicester (02 May 2016)

Awful experience . constant noise from other lodge users all through the night! plus the events marquee few metres away from the lodges!
Alayne from Lancashire (02 May 2016)

It was a lovely stay
Marcella from London (02 May 2016)

Amazing place. Only thing was gate wa so pen when we returned after night out after we were told security was good & would be locked & also check out was early.
Karen from Higham Ferrers (18 April 2016)

Absolutely beautiful place but due to all birds in trees and bird mess wouldn't go back. Accommodation was very pleasant but if it rains it's so loud and as trees over hang van it's even lorder.
Natalie (15 April 2016)

Great relaxing quiet time just what we needed.
Debbie from Oxfordshire (08 April 2016)

We had an issue with the quality of a mattress, however a quick fix was found without hesitation by the staff .
Duncan (08 April 2016)

Overall the stay was lovely but everything felt a little too intimate for us. The beds were too short for my 6'5 husband, and we were in the double. The singles are very close together and ideal for children. But the couple we were with continuously hit their feet on the wall. The ensuite was tiny but the main bathroom was bigger. The lounge was lovely for all four of us and the dog and the kitchen was a good size which was well equipped with glasses, crockery, cooking utensils etc, but take extra tea towels and sharp knives. . . the hot tub was lovely but again felt intimate and a little uncomfortable for four adults, with our knees hunched up. . . the site itself is beautiful and has a lovely walk on site.
Claire from Brighton (21 March 2016)

Lovely lodge nice view of lake hubby gutted he could not fish it!! nice quiet peaceful surroundings which no doubt will look stunning as matures and summer arrives, hopefully lights will be added to water fountain. Staff helpful friendly and approachable. Thanks jamie for looking after our hot tub. Hope to be back soon.
Donna (18 March 2016)

Clean and tidy but needed more . the mattress on the bed was cheap the twin beds were bunk bed size not suitable for a 6 ft person no bread bin no oven dishes just small things but need looking into . nice quiet location wouldn't want to walk to the nearest pub as is suggested.
Christine from York (18 March 2016)

I loved where it was situated.. very peaceful! it will improve once the other cabins have been built, it could also possibly do with a small shop maybe? but I understand there is not many cabins so this would be a waste of money probably.. but it was very good value for money, staff were friendly and the paperwork/book they give you at the beginning was very useful, but it could do with a map of some sort showing some of the long walks you could take around the area? . the cabin itself was so clean and fresh. Having the little things like fairy liquid, tea, coffee& biscuits and more than one toilet roll makes all the difference! the hot tub was gorgeous and clean.. overall, a great peaceful experience.. and I will continue to reccomend it to people!
Emily from Leicester (14 March 2016)

A great place to get away with family. the lodge is in a fab location with plenty to do and lovely walks. the lodge itself was ideal to stay with a toddler and we would definitely stay again.
Customer 58 from Chelmsford (11 March 2016)

Lovely place but couldn't get a taxi at night to take us to a pub bit isolated
Debbie from Burton Latimer (11 March 2016)

Lovely place had a very enjoyable time loved the hot tub
Mark from Marlow Bucks (11 March 2016)

You need to be aware this is a caravan not a lodge. actually a new caravan or mobile home and has a very nice lounge/kitchen area but very narrow access to the bedrooms and bathroom. . very cold or arrival and took several hours to warm up normally heating is put on prior to arrival but this is a new venture for the owners and I guess they are still learning. When the park is finished and perhaps the access road to the caravans is properly made up it should be good. . also we took our dog and there is no dog exercise area or doggy bins.
Bob from Chichester (11 March 2016)

Lovely break, quiet restful and perfect
Rachel from Middlesbrough (04 March 2016)

So pleased we found this accomadation on the web , great location and a great long weekend away with the added bonus of the hot tub at our lodge .
Tracy from Epsom (22 February 2016)

It was a shame our hot tub was not hot on our first night, but it did not stop our enjoyment of our break, did not like having 8 very loud women in the next lodge.
Tracey from Nottinghamshire (22 February 2016)

Lovely place to relax and unwind! loved the hot tub x
Nicola from Swansea (19 February 2016)

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at rosewood stud it was very peaceful. Loved the hot tub
Saleh from Peterborough (19 February 2016)

Nice location pleasent staff was building work going on but we were pre warned and upon arrival we were presented with a bottle of wine for the inconviniance but we very rarely aware of any work going on nice quiet surroundings
Mark from Ellesmere Port (12 February 2016)

It was a lovely peaceful location
Jill from Chelmsford (05 February 2016)

It is a nice quiet location not far from cambridge, newmarket, ely and bury st edmunds so if you want to go out and about you can. It felt very secure and safe. The nearest local pub recommended by the park was excellent and worth a visit.
Vicky from Essex (29 January 2016)

Really enjoyed my stay at rosewood stud, I celebrated part of my 21st with my girlfriends and will be returning very soon, most enjoyable weekend.
Melissa from Milton Keynes (18 January 2016)

Lovely w end away quite and peacefull.we would love to come back especially if we could the same price as we paid this time.
Mark from Norwich (18 January 2016)

We had a lovely relaxing family break, the hot tub was great and it was peaceful and lovely to see and hear the pond and fountain. my grand daughter loved watching the ducks and horses. the staff were very helpful and we would recommend. looking forward to the new larger accommodation so we can return with more family next time. thank you to all.
Paul from Derby (15 January 2016)

Nice holiday home, very clean. Not good site for us as we had dogs with us and nowhere for them to run
Sarah from London (06 January 2016)

Dissapionted as it was a caravan not a lodge...
Beverley from Canterbury (30 December 2015)

Rosewood stud was perfect for my friends and I for a relaxing christmas get away. My only gripe is that nothing was open (reception, the café etc) but that wasn't too bad as we were happy to get on and look after ourselves.
Lora from Trowbridge (07 December 2015)

Rosewood stud farm is in a nice location and the lodge was fine.
Stephen (13 November 2015)

Great place if you really don't want to do anything and just relax. But not very comfortable for eight people very tight and you can not sit eight round the table and only six in hot tub.
Penny from Luton (09 November 2015)

Unable to gain access on arrival due to technical fault on gate system.unclear office location.did not appreciate the porsche and range rover outside office entrance. Unable to gain entry on 2nd day.no real apology from staff when leaving. Poor customer handling skills from staff.
Robert from Hertfordshire (06 November 2015)

Had a fantastic time. Perfect little getaway. Lovely facilities. It made my birthday
Gemma from Nottingham (02 November 2015)

Brilliant stay at rosewood stud for a long weekend in october 2015. Lovely location and really modern and clean lodge. It was really spatious and the hot tub was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you.
Sara from Evesham (19 October 2015)

The cabin wasn't very clean, despite notices that animals weren't allowed in the cabins there was clearly dog hair in the lounge and lots of it, the place could do with a better clean. The venue was lovely and peaceful and staff very helpful
Caroline from Clevedon (16 October 2015)

Great place to relax
David from Lowestoft (09 October 2015)

We had a lovely time and enjoyed ourselves. The hot tub was lovely, but could have done with some instructions.
Kate from Bishops Stortford (28 September 2015)

This is a new site consisting of just 5 lodges at the moment in a beautiful location on a working stud farm. Our lodge (no 4) overlooked the small lake which is still being landscaped and I am sure will look better month by month. The hot tub on the balcony was lovely, and staff on site check and treat the water daily. There is an absolutely fantastic pub 1/2 mile away and the nearest shop is about 3 miles away. We loved this site, if you want piece and tranquility then this is for you.
William (28 September 2015)

Fantastic place. We all loved our break away. . just perfect
Michelle from Birmingham (21 September 2015)

Delighted with surroundings. Lodge was well equipped but seemed a little small for 7 people. When we enquires about the lodges we were led to believe that this accommodation would be fine. On seeing the other lodges I feel we would have been better to have upgraded. We were disappointed to find a lot of pet hairs in the lounge. Some of us had to sit on the floor to watch the tv and this is where we discovered the hairs. A bread knife and a hairdryer would have been very useful so you may want to add these for future bookings. We would definitely return to rosewood but would check the accommodation was suitable beforehand.
Melanie from Coventry (14 September 2015)

Could not fault the rosewood stud park location, facilities or staff as they were all fantastic.
Leanne from London (14 September 2015)

Very quiet area, good for a relaxing holiday watching the friendly horses or using the hot tub. Accommodation was quite new, very clean and comfortable. Could do with info on use of boiler/heating/appliances/gates in the folder and things like what to be done on leaving day. Not keen on entry/exit gates using our mobile phone, a fob like the employees use could be on the accommadation key. We had trouble getting in once and certainly were not informed the gate wouldn't open when we tried to leave at 7pm. We do understand the importance of security for the stud farm but would have liked easier access. Apart from the gate a great relaxing holiday and staff very helpful when needed.
Debbie from Essex (11 September 2015)

Nice lodge, pretty countryside . didn't meet the peaceful relaxing break we wanted or the freedom for our dog to be let off her lead. surprised that the park allows large parties in lodges as its quite remote and a retreat setting.
Mary (07 September 2015)

Lovely new holiday homes. Great hot tub. However they are not really lodges but luxury caravans. The cheaper ones have tiny caravan sized beds and bedrooms apart from the double. Would return but only in the prestige accommodation. Also they have a function marquee directly next door which wasn't used whilst we were there but if it was I would expect it to be far from tranquil. However a lovely peaceful stay and well situated for newmarket or ely.
Cheryl from Essex (04 September 2015)

Perfect to wind down and relax. Thanks
Chami (31 August 2015)

Excellent facilities.the hot tub was a big hit with the children. The caravan was spacious and well equipped. The site location was great for relaxing but limited facilities in close proximity although we did find an excellent pub. Staff greeting was fine and although not cheap for 3 nights we would consider booking again. Overall a strong 8 out of ten.
Paul from Milton Keynes (24 August 2015)

Really lovely short break, the lodge had everything we could have wanted and the surrounding villages were picturesque.
Carol from Birmingham (17 August 2015)

Bit of a mix up at check in but solved immediately. Amazing grounds, fantastic location! brilliant relaxing hot tub break!!
Lee from Holmfirth (14 August 2015)

Perfect place would definitely go again
Tara from Hertfordshire (27 July 2015)

Lodge was brand new and as advertised, very cosy and great hot tub installed in deck. Central heating worked well as did tv, and kitchen all excellent and spotless. Linens were clean. Small niggles, wi-fi dropped out repeatedly and mattress could do with a topper to improve comfort otherwise all good. Dog gate required for dog friendly cabins as they can escape the deck area. Poo bins required.
Andrew from Chesterfield (27 July 2015)

Lovely place, lodges immaculate and spacious with everything you could need. Perfect value for money and a nice break for a few days! highly recommended!
Paul from Crawley (24 July 2015)

A beautiful lodge in perfect surroundings. We couldn't have asked for more
Edwina from Leeds (20 July 2015)

First guests to stay in lodge - was excellent. Quiet and small park with good quality brand new lodges in a lovely location. Loved the hot tub.
Peter (13 July 2015)

First occupiers of this lovely lodge, everything new and really lovely with the added extra of a lovely hot tub.
Joan from South Wales (13 July 2015)
