I have been gping hete for 15yrs and have recommended it to many friends and family who now enjoy it to.
Janine from Loughborough (21 April 2018)

Perfect from start to finish cabin blew us away was clean and beautifully presented. Fantastic clean hot tub.
Samantha (16 April 2018)

As a family of 4 our trip was for visiting alton towers which was only a 13 minute drive away from lodges , we loved our stay , lodges were so clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. The hot tub was a brilliant extra and so good after a tiring day walking around alton towers. We will definately be returning in the future :)
Toni from Fife (13 April 2018)

Came here with my partner and stayed for 4 nights in the woodpecker lodge 41. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and the shop has some lovely little souvenirs. The cabin blew us away as soon as we went in. Ours was one bedroom but very spacious. The guys there make so much effort to make it special from the milk tea & coffee that’s put in, little dining table set ready, beautifully made up bed, robes in the wardrobe everything was perfect. The cabin was spotless, floors clean, bedroom smelt lush when we arrived. Under floor heating in the bathroom. General wear and tear in the bathroom round the shower and glass that you have to expect but you can tell they try their best to keep it well maintained. The guy that came and explained how to use the hot tub was lovely. The hot tub itself was clean and so enjoyable. There were other cabins next to us but you get your own parking space and they are set out so they don’t overlook and are made very private with the fencing around. Would love to go back again and would highly recommend.
Anna (13 April 2018)

Perfect. Felt like we were deep in the forest. Our lodge seemed very private and secluded considering where we were in a busy park.
Lynsey from South Shields (09 April 2018)

My few days are quarry lodge was just what the doctor ordered. Very relaxing and was able to recharge my batteries. The staff were really helpful. It was my 3rd visit and I will defo be going again.
Christine from Woking (09 April 2018)

Excellent. Great location. Fantastic if you’re looking for peace and quiet
Michelle from West Midlands (07 April 2018)

It was a great experience
Dareen from London (06 April 2018)

We had a lovely time at quarry walk & even though people had commented no wifi or phone signal as a negative we actually enjoyed being disconnected & just us as a family for 4 days. (wifi is available at a cost) lovely outdoor play area for the kids. Our lodge had everything we needed (we especially enjoyed the hot tub). there were a few areas looking a bit tired, marks on the walls & rust on the radiators, but overall we would recommend & would consider returning too.
Mel from Mid Wales (30 March 2018)

We had a lovely time. A few issues on arrival, we had a hot tub with a broken lid. It’s impossible to remove and replace alone, which meant sometimes I had to leave it open which meant it spent most of the time running at about 30-34 degrees which is annoying when your ready to get in at night when the kids are in bed but it hasn’t managed to warm back up yet. I mentioned it to the guy who settled us in and he said ring reception if we needed assistance. However there is no phone signal! at all. . underfloor heating was difficult. We couldn’t dry towels anywhere so ended up sharing most of the time as the room wasn’t warm enough to dry washing and the dryer was absolutely rubbish. . . the site was great for us, quiet, cut off from the world and a little park to entertain the kids. We walked around a few paths on the site with the kids and there were some nice walks. We visited alton towers and went into uttoxter for a day. Close enough for a day out in many places. . . I would return but I would need a new hot tub lid. And the radiators on in bathrooms!
Kerrie from Matlock (30 March 2018)

We have a very relaxing time. The log cabin and hot tub was flawless. Would def recommend this for couples for much needed rnr. . only thing to take into account is no phone signal (which was a pleasing for me), and you have to drive to get to local pubs as only a small shop on site. Thank you for a great stays
Simon from Leicester (30 March 2018)

Amazing time away, was great to get away from everything!
Niamh from Swindon (30 March 2018)

Lovely place & perfect lodge had everything we needed. Yes mobile reception is bad but just take that into account when booking ,
Karen from Wirral (26 March 2018)

Great holiday lovely cabin, staff were great, perfect location
Natalie (26 March 2018)

Loved very minute of my stay in the fox cub lodge! will 100% return.
Danielle from West Midlands (26 March 2018)

Lovely relaxing time..
Alison from Leamington Spa (23 March 2018)

Enjoyed our stay, the lodge was immensely clean and modern. Hot tub was fantastic!!! we enjoyed a relaxing holiday and will definatley be returning later in the year.
Michelle from Derby (23 March 2018)

We had a lovely break away, the cabin was perfect and well equipped. The hot tub was a lovely extra and definitely made the trip, all staff were friendly! would definitely recommend the raddle inn for food
Lisa from Surrey (22 March 2018)

Excellent short break for 3 nights lovely surroundings, peaceful , tidy surroundings. The lodge was warm and cozy with underground heating, towels robes supplied too. The hot tub fantastic very relaxing time away it was all positive.
Helen from Kent (21 March 2018)

A lovely lodge and surroundings but very expensive for what it is, i'll look further afield next time to get better value for money but on this occasion I needed something close to home as it was our children's first night away and I wanted peace of mind that if they wouldn't settle I could be home within 15 minutes. we made use of the hot tub once the kids were in bed and the underfloor heating was a great touch, it did make th lodge extremely hot and you couldnare really control the temperature.
Michelle from Stoke On Trent (20 March 2018)

If you are in need of a totally peaceful, relaxing break these lodges are perfect. The fox club lodge is ideal for a couple, they are clean comfortable & well equipped. The hot tub is just perfect to spend an hour or more in at night.
Annette from Sutton Coldfield (20 March 2018)

Had a great time already looking to go back with friends in november
Paul from Northwich (19 March 2018)

Clean, comfy & every we needed was in the lodge. Great to have a little shop on site too. Already booked our next visit.
Cheryl (19 March 2018)

What can I say but superb. Lovely lodges and very relaxing. Will go again.
Andrew from Spalding (19 March 2018)

Lovely place and hot tub, have stayed here six times already and will definitely be coming back , very friendly staff nothing too much trouble
Cheryl from Tamworth (19 March 2018)

Lovely quiet surroundings
Lynne (16 March 2018)

The cabin we stayed in (fox cub) was very nice but could have done with a little maintenance before we arrived. The shower head needed a washer to stop it spraying everywhere and one of the sinks didn’t drain properly. Apart from that the cabin was lovely, clean, tidy and everything you would need. Except maybe somewhere other than the wardrobe to hang your coats.
Lea from Scarborough (15 March 2018)

Lodge was well presented and not overlooked everything on hand for a relaxing stay
Gladys from Stoke-On-Trent (12 March 2018)

This was the first time we stayed here and it was absolutely beautiful! the hot tub was fantastic, I would definitely recommend this place and i'm looking forward to coming back in the future :)
Natalie (09 March 2018)

Very friendly and informative staff. . shame the wifi is not included with the package as there is no phone signal.
Gary from Loughborough (09 March 2018)

Absolutely fantastic staff, beautiful surroundings, and the lodge it’s self was stunning, somebody came around every morning to check the hot tub was clean and the temperature was correct, couldn’t of been happier, and for a pet friendly lodge the standard as first class!!
Daniel from Meriden (07 March 2018)

Been to this camp many times, always a pleasant stay. I do agree that they could do with some tlc now. The window catch was broken, the bathroom window didn’t shut probably and there is no handle to get the lid of the hot tub, which is awkward for two people, virtually impossible for one. . the staff are very friendly and helpful and will keep going back because love the cabin
Alison (05 March 2018)

Had a great time lovely place everything we needed even got helped when we got stuck in the snow on our way the site sent someone out who gave us a tow overall had a lovely stay wasn't long enough : )
Louise from Birmingham (05 March 2018)

Would have been nicer to have more walking routes around the park.
Mary (05 March 2018)

A lovely lodge in a beautiful setting, all the staff we encountered where friendly and helpful the lodge was clean and well equipped. would highly recommend and would like to visit again
Marie from Hertfordshire (04 March 2018)

I booked for just 3 nights . we have stayed before so knew what to expect. . the cabin was so cosy and warm couldn't fault it. The staff at reception extremely helpful and the local pub the raddle inn we descended on twice during out stay . the food was very good and staff very hospitable. It did say booking was recommended but on both occasions we didn't. . but it does get busy in there. The grounds at quarry walk are lovely and I would recommend exploring the local area . shugborough estate a 40 minute drive away was well worth a trip also and thoroughly enjoyed as national trust members.
Antonia from Burscough Lancashire (26 February 2018)

Really enjoyed this short break. The lodge was perfect apart from no blinds on bedroom window only thin curtains which let in the light early. There was no wifi or phone signal which didnt bother us as we just wanted a relaxing break. Made full use of the hot tub.
Stephen from Wigan (26 February 2018)

Lovely break just what we all needed.
Diana from Bradnop Stafgs (26 February 2018)

Lovely undisturbed relaxed break, brilliant
Sheila from Halifax (25 February 2018)

Brilliant as always

Karen from Birmingham (24 February 2018)

Absolutely loved our stay here would recommend to anyone
Samantha from Nuneaton (23 February 2018)

We had a lovely time and enjoy the hot tub.we will definitely be going back.
Pat from Staffordshire (22 February 2018)

2 nd stay here. This time the log cabin was a little dated and required some tlc, cleaning and general maintenance. However, still adore this place, staff and site are wonderful and cannot wait to go again.
Emma from Stoke On Trent (22 February 2018)

This was a perfect place to spend our 6 year anniversary, every thing was perfect and the lodge was beautiful. The hot tub was always ready and hot. There is no wifi here and I only got signal as I went further up the hill out of the campsite. Only one bad thing was that the bathroom smelt like urine but I guess its due to the underfloor heating, mopped it a few times and the smell went.
Jade (20 February 2018)

No phone reception or internet access which was not good.
Teresa (19 February 2018)

Fantastic family weekend away in great value accommodation, set in a quite location perfect for a relaxing break with nice walks and play area for the kids.
Paul (19 February 2018)

Lovely place for a complete getaway as your literally in the middle of nowhere really
Gemma from Birmingham (19 February 2018)

Absolutely beautiful surroundings lovely and quiet. Hot tub area was lovely and private , well equipped lodge would definitely go back.
Rebecca from Cheshire (19 February 2018)

Absolutely stunning place! excellent value for money! perfect break for a couple, peaceful with stunning views. . really clean, cosy and the hot tub was great.
Melanie from Oxford (18 February 2018)

Nice little lodge and well equipped
Kyle (18 February 2018)

We stayed in fox lodge 4 (number 55) which was lovely and warm, especially as the weather was very cold and snowy. The extra large hot-tub was especially good.the lodge could do with a bit of re-decorating (rusty radiators and a few bits of peeling wallpaper), but nothing to really worry about. It certainly didn't spoil our holiday. There was no mobile reception or wifi available at the lodge, but this was a bonus as it meant that we could have some quality "family" time together.
Katie from Gloucestershire (17 February 2018)

On arrival very welcoming how ever don’t turn up early as you won’t be allowed in to your accommodation even if it’s ready the lodge it’s self was very clean and set out very nicely my only grumbles were only one shower can be used at anyone time as pressure is low and our shower inthe bedroom was never hot we did complain they came in to fix but then it was so hot it burnt ya skin as there was no temp gage on the shower this was all done the day before we left so was a little unhappy as it’s feb and was cold having a working shower would have been nice apart from this everything was fine
Amanda (16 February 2018)

Only negative is no phone signal. Amazing holiday! totally would recommend, just don't get lost xd
Georgie (15 February 2018)

Great cabin, staff very helpful, cabin very clean and warm, only issue was the road way down to the cabins, very poor condition many pot holes.
John from Stoke On Trent (15 February 2018)

Really enjoyed it went with husband and four children the hot tub was really good always nice and warm the right temperature. Will definitely book again.
Sam from Burnley (15 February 2018)

Me and my girlfriend gone for few days to relax in a middle of nowhere in private hot tub on 24/7 :d .. and came back with my fiancée ;) she said it wat best valentine’s day ever..
Rafal from Newport (14 February 2018)

If you are looking to get away from the world and switch off for a few days this is the ideal place. I stayed for 3 nights and it was the most relaxing 3 days i've had. The facilities are perfect and the little complimentary gifts were a lovely gesture. I wold highly recommend this little gem to anyone.
Dean from Milton Keynes (14 February 2018)

We loved the hot tub and the location was very peaceful , our lodge was a bit dusty and the window handles were greasy in the kitchen
Mary from Stoke On Trent (13 February 2018)

Lovely place, the cabin was clean and very cozy. The wifi was limited which was a good excuse for everyone to stay off their phones and spend some quality time together! loved the hot tub, nicely tucked away facing the woods.
Michelle (11 February 2018)

Lovely location. No phone or internet signal in the lodge, but not a bad thing it was nice to have quiet. But could get signal outside lodge. Plenty to see and do around.
Sarah from North Yorkshire (11 February 2018)

Absolutely loved it, would definitely go back, beautiful surroundings and so peaceful if you want to switch off for a few days.
Cheryl (10 February 2018)

The lodge was beautiful we stayed in the fox cub , it was very modern and clean , loved the hot tub . the area was very quiet which we liked , theres a little shop on site but only sells the bare minimum, so take your food with you . we will certainly be coming back and have already recommended it to 4 of our friends who are hoping to go soon .
Beverley from Derby (08 February 2018)

Arrival. 4/5. We arrived just after 4pm, popped into reception and picked up the lodge and barrier keys. The layout of the site was explained and we were reminded that there would be no electric on site from 8am on the day we left. We were aware of this prior so no concerns. Only lost 1 star as a £10.00 refundable deposit is needed for remotes - i'm paying hundreds to visit the site, I don't plan on stealing a tv remote. . accommodation. 5/5. 25 fox plus lodge was perfect. There was only two of us and the dog, but the lodge had a bathroom and a shower room, along with three bedrooms to sleep six. Very good lodge. Large kitchen/diner with the usual appliances, including a tassimo coffee machine. Tea/coffee/milk on arrival and two dishwasher tablets. Kitchen included a large fridge, a large freezer, a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. Living room with freeview and a dvd player. Two bedrooms with two singles in each. Walk in wardrobes in both. Bathroom with overhead shower (the better shower of the two) and toilet. Main bedroom with double bed and en-suite. En-suite also had a shower. All rooms had a tv with freeview. Lots of cupboard and drawer space in all rooms. The decked hot tub area was very private. I imagine in summer it would be more private when there are leaves on the trees. Bath robes provided. Just outside the decked area there was also a bbq and large wheely bin. . cleanliness. Overall - 3/5. The accommodation was very clean, but bathrooms were slightly hairy, with extractors needing a good dust. Nothing major, but when paying the big bucks the small details are important. . the site. 4/5. A fair sized site with about a good amount of lodges, tent area, caravan area and a large woodland to walk through. Cheadle is only a 5 minute drive away where there is a small asda. There is also a small play park for kids. . customer service. 5/5. Couldn't fault the two people we dealt with. The lady who checked us in/out was lovely. The gent who came and explained the hot tub was also very friendly and knowledgeable.
Aaron from Plymouth (08 February 2018)

Apart from a dodgy lock on the cabin it was fantastic again
Gareth from Stoke On Trent (06 February 2018)

Quality accommodation in a very peaceful location
Darren from Birmingham (06 February 2018)

Very relaxing, great place to unwind
Julie from Chelmsford (05 February 2018)

Second visit. helpful staff. I find it a little extreme that you have to put a deposit down for the remote controls.
Sophie from Essex (05 February 2018)

Lodge was lovely but it had few things wrong like taps leaking, shower head constantly leaking, the radiators in both bathrooms needed replacing they looked awful, also the sky light leaked in kitchen area, overall park was lovely and kids play area. the lodges are quite close together shame they were further apart!
Karen (05 February 2018)

Beautiful relaxing weekend away in the middle of no where.
Chris from Stone (04 February 2018)

It was our 3rd stay at quarry walk and as before we stayed in badger number 32 although as usual we loved our 5day stay unfortunately we found the log cabin wasn’t up to the standards of previous visits, very dusty walls in the main bedroom with big dust webs over the wardrobes, the towel rail wasn’t working in the bathroom we did report it but was told it worked in line with the underfloor heating but it never did come on during our stay, also there was empty beer bottles in the growth outside and cigarette ends on the decking area .
Paul from Tamworth (02 February 2018)

Lovely place peaceful and quiet took everything we needed so no need to leave lodge. Nice touch of washing machine so after muddy walks could wash clothes plus welcome book has full instructions on how to use everything so no guessing
Sharon from Leeds West Yorkshire (02 February 2018)

Lovely peacefull place for a breakaway
Paul from Wellingborough (25 January 2018)

Lovely weekend! lodge was cosy, warm and clean. Hot tub was lovely and felt very private. Only downside is quite far away from everything, sofa is quite uncomfortable and no wifi or signal. As these weren’t essential we were still very pleased with our weekend!
Danielle (23 January 2018)

We had the most relaxing weekend, the lodge was in the most perfect setting and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Michael from Stockport (22 January 2018)

Quiet retreat for the weekend including no internet no signal for phones bliss
Tracey from Leicestershire (22 January 2018)

About the 8th time we’ve stayed here & we always enjoy our stay
Booth from Barnsley (22 January 2018)

Very friendly & helpful staff in a very peaceful and tranquil location. Second time i've been and would still go back, however, just a few minor details which could of made it perfect! (rusty radiator in bathroom, dripping shower. And minor stains on the walls) overall very good value!
Adam from Norfolk (17 January 2018)

We went there for a relaxing weekend and that's what we did there are lots of places near to visit
Belinda from Cardiff (16 January 2018)

This was advertised and priced as 'luxury' against that self imposed benchmark it fails dismally. The huts are very close together with limited privacy both from being overlooked and onverheard. There was broken equipment in the bhuts which when reported the staff showed a total lack of concern over. We paid for wifi (which in a luxury setting should have been free given there was no phone reception) which failed after a few hours, again when this was reported the only concern of the staff was to distance themselves from any liability. With no phone signal, the possibility of raising emergency services if needed was absent. There was not even a intercom type arrangement up to reception (which kept very short hours). we were required to pay extra for robes, given that beside the luxury element, the hot tub was a major selling point this was not acceptable. The hut was dirty and there was only a medium size bath towel and a hand towel provided per guest. in summary, very overpriced and poorly managed. There are a great number of better options available and I would recommend anybody use those.
Jessica from Reading (15 January 2018)

Great little private cabin. Both hot tub and accommodation were great. We took a small drive to cheadle town on saturday which was lovely and had a delicious sunday lunch at the ramblers retreat which is a short drive away and has some great surrounding walking trails. Highly recommend this place, would definitely visit again.
Adam (15 January 2018)

Great few days in the country. cabin was warm and comfortable with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was wonderful to come back to after a long walk. Will definitely be returning.
Caroline from Leicester (12 January 2018)

Lovely relaxing break. Only negative was no wi fi as advertised. No phone signal either, so had to go to reception area to call my mother in law to check my 2 year old son was ok!! apart from that was a fantastic break.
Shane from Bedworth (08 January 2018)

We had a relaxing break, some staff were fantastic especially the lady in reception and the house cleaner, however the tall guy who maintains the cabins never acknowledges or smiles at you or replies back when you say good morning to him.
Gary from Stoke-On-Trent (08 January 2018)

Absolutely stunning lodge, amazing hot tub! we stayed in the owl garden which was the end lodge on the site, the back of the lodge faced the other lodges which made the garden super private and safe for the children. There is a lovely play area on site but that's it! there are 2 local pubs, the pubs you do need to drive too though as there both down country lanes and in the evening its too dark to walk back. I didn't mind driving so no problem for me! we did visit water world and the indoor play area just kidding which were about 20 minutes away which was good on rainy days. Theres an asda and take aways 3 miles away! highly recommend this place and definitely will return! 5 * from me!
Lorna from Trawden (07 January 2018)

Really lovely place the go the lodges are immaculate. And the hot tub is lovely. Only down side is there is 0 phone signal and 0 wi-fi don’t no why it even advertisers it has. 3 days and didn’t connect to anythin 1s. And the on-site shop doesn’t have much and shuts at 5.30. And getting anywhere is miles away. So stock up on what you need. I would definitely go again.
Mark from St. Helens (06 January 2018)

Spent nee years here and it was bliss. Peaceful and quiet. Cabin was awesome. Hot tub even better. Will be coming again
Hayley from Birmingham (03 January 2018)

We had a nice time. The accommodation was as described. Staff sorted out a couple as issues as soon as they were notified.
Andrea from Walsall (03 January 2018)

We stayed at quarry walk for 4 nights over new year in woodpecker 44. Having stayed in the cabin previously in 2015 we were excited to return as we loved it! unfortunately our expectations were not met. When we stayed in 2015 there was an issue with the oven not lightin easily. Again we had the exactly the same issue, only this time the cabin was filling with gas and we had our 3 month old baby with us! we were not happy having to light the main oven with a lighter, putting arm and head into the oven to do so. . . the cabin was good but the condition was run down when it needn’t have been, walls covered in dust, cobwebs, grime in the grout- general cleanliness was not up to scratch. The kitchen window was also missing it’s handle so we couldn’t open it - not something we’d usually do in winter but wanted to get rid of the gas smell. we noticed a cigarette burn in the bathroom blind in 2015.. it was still there. . along with this outside the cabin hadn’t been maintained well. My husband cut himself on a nail sticking out of the post by the hot tub. The front side panel of the hot tub had fallen down and not been put back up. The filter in the hot tub kept coming loose and needed to be looked at. . the grounds that the cabin is in are lovely but again need maintenance. The pot holes on the roads are quite large now and need some work to fill them and make safe. The dog waste bins were also over-flowing making it hard to dispose of dog waste until we found a big bin. . . we understand it was new year and staffing and hours were different to normal but the shop wasn’t open when it said it would be. This made it very hard to contact people when we had issues..leading to us not bothering to do so until check out, with the exception of the oven on the first night. The man did come straight away and temporarily fixed it. . I reported this on check out but the staff member seemed uninterested in our comments. The fact we had been before and said we will not be coming g back should really provoke questions, unfortunately she just said ‘oh right’. . really disappointed with our stay and will not be returning.
Michelle from Wigan (03 January 2018)

We had a great wkend away, and were very pleased with the lodge and the area, would be happy to stay again.
Ben from Manchester (03 January 2018)

Upon arrival, the smell of cooking ( greasy food) was overwhelming. We had to keep the doors open in the cold,to air the lodge. . the table was set for dinner with dirty plates ,glasses and cutlery . all of these had to go in the dishwasher along with all other glasses and cutlery .. . we have stayed in a fox lodge . before and the standard between the two was massive ( tried to book the same ,but full) . we were very disappointed. We complained to reception who just apologised and said she would let the cleaning staff know ... and told me to complain to hoseseasons
Emma from Tamworth (27 December 2017)

Had a wonderful pre christmas break with family and would definetly go back again.
Kay (23 December 2017)

We have been quarry walks a few times now we have 4 kids and they love it really think its one of the best places in the country value for money internet is slow but its nice for kids to do without it for a few days
Jonathan from Stoke On Trent (20 December 2017)

We stayed in badger 4 cabin num 32 mid dec 2017. We arrived at the cabin at around 5pm we was greated in the reception by a nice lady who welcomed us and gave us relevent info such hottub info and a site map. We drove ourselves to the cabin and shortly after we arrived we was greated by a man who showed us how to use the hottub and heating. The cabin was beautiful and was exactly as advertised. pluses: beautiful senery, lovely cosy cabin, private hot tub, four poster bed, helpful polite staff, fully equipt kitchen, underfloor heating. negatives: the first morning we woke by boyfriend had been laying in a wet patch as the celing was dripping water throughout the night. We went to reception where we was greeted by a different lady who took all our details and said she would send matience to have a look. We popped out to the shop and when we got back the man was walking towards us he said that leek was just condesation and to put a fan on or open the window which we didnt really want to have to do as it was mid dec and freezing outside due to the snow. the 2nd night was worse and my boyfriend ended up sleeping in another bed. The 2nd day our hottub was low of water so we asked if it could be topped up we then waited 2 and half hours for it to be topped up to be told we now had no hot water inside the cabin for an hour which initialy we was fine with but it didnt get hot until the next day resulting in having to boil several kettles and saucepans to have a bath 1 night. Overal we enjoyed our weekend the staff where all very nice and helpful. Even though the site was full it was very quite and relaxing. We would defenitly book here again.
Laura from Romford Essex. (18 December 2017)

Nice place hot tub was massive had a good birthday with family and friends
Samantha (17 December 2017)

Lovely place very nice cabin and hot tub. Very quite and relaxing. Will definatly be coming back.
Amy (11 December 2017)

Lovely december weekend break, very cosy and clean and having a covered hot tub was great in the snow, it was our 2nd visit this year will be back next year
Cath from Birmingham (11 December 2017)

Our break away was fantastic. I surprised my other half with a weekend away for his 30th birthday (9th dec 2017). the cabin was beautiful. It was clean, cosey, well equipped and the bed was stupidly comfortable. We really managed to relax. . the hot tub out on the veranda was awesome! . I arranged as a surprise for our friends to join us on the saturday. The reception staff were fantastic in helping me keep this a secret. The lady on reception let them in and gave them a key to our cabin so when we returned they were there to surprise us. . little did I know when I was planning my now fiances birthday that he was planning a proposal!!. we got engaged while the snow fell around us in the peak district with a glow of the cute surrounding cottages' christmas lights. To say it was perfect wouldn't be giving it enough credit. We then celebrated later in the hot tub, playing music and sipping drinks. The cabins weren't crammed in, so you honestly felt like you were the only people there. . definitely going to return in the summer, couldn't have been happier with the whole weekend.
Alice from Cardiff (11 December 2017)

Excellent weekend break. Lovely surroundings peaceful with a couple of pubs short walk away. Well maintained hot tubs too.
Darran (10 December 2017)

Amazing relaxing break away from it all
Susan from Newcastle Upon Tyne (08 December 2017)

It was very nice and quiet thank you
Malcolm from Stoke On Trent (08 December 2017)

Great break before christmas as a present for my girlfriend lovely surroundings and friendly people
Patrick from Caister On Sea (08 December 2017)

It was so peaceful and relaxing, only thing was that the internet connection wasn’t good in the cabins but I guess you come to a place like that to get away, it would be better if the wifi was free instead of charge as the connection is poor, but overall the stay was prefect and exceeded expectations, staff left you alone and to have a chilled out time. . only thing which wasn’t up to standards was that there wasn’t staff at the reception when needed.
Akeem from Manchester (06 December 2017)

My only negative was the other guests. The noise from 2 other cabins from when we stayed was terrible and till late in the evening
Lucy from Stockport (04 December 2017)

A haven of tranquility. Look no further if you want a quiet chilled location. Hot tub great. Everything you need in the chalet. Comfortable and clean.
Jp from Bolton (04 December 2017)

Booked this for my partners birthday. Cabin was beautiful and clean. Hot tub was amazing. Would of been better if it was more secluded and private. . we both loved that fact there was no phone signal. . the only complatany I have is I was charged extra to hace chocolates put in the cabin when they sold them for 5.99 in the shop.
Amy from Rugby (03 December 2017)

Met all my expectations, if you want a place where you just relax quarry walks is the place for you.
Wayne from Swansea (01 December 2017)

The location is great for a relaxing break. Mobile signal isn't good which adds to the relaxation :-) the lodges are clean & well equipped. The hot tubs are fantastic. There is a welcome pack when you arrive. All the cleaning products are provided. Toiletries are provided too. Staff are welcoming & helpful. The site does have a small shop. The only reason I marked it 9 & not 10 is that the drives need relaying or at least the pot holes filled in other than that everything was great. Its the 3rd time i've been here always at this time of year nov/dec counting the weeks till I go back already.
Yvonne from Burntwood. Staffs (01 December 2017)

Fantastic stay, would definitely return! staff were excellent
Iain from Kilmarnock (30 November 2017)

Best cabin holiday to date, lovely modern cabin with helpful land accommodating staff, highly recommend.
Vincent from Preston (30 November 2017)

Pros. Nice cabin with plenty of room, private hot tubs, nice setting, friendly staff, 2 nice pub/restaurants close by. . cons. No storage in cabin kitchens, free wifi or cheap reliable wifi should be available as u have no phone signal at all in the cabin so u can't contact anyone, some cabins could do with some tlc, nothing on site to do so could benefit from maybe a small cafe/diner/bar on site to have a drink and maybe meet other guests, a better road through cabins, all hot tubs should have a canapy over them because when it rains you can't enjoy it
Mark from Rotherham (27 November 2017)

Wonderful winter short break. Would definitely return.
Tracey (27 November 2017)

Not overly thrilled staying at the lodge, firstly no phone signal at all, this should be made clear, no phones in the cabins even to phone reception incase of emergency. The wi fi didnt connect even though I paid 6 pound for it. The cooker was difficult to use beleive or not. The windows in the bedroom are either shut or fully open wich doesnt make you feel safe at all as you cant open them at night.there is no lightinf around the site its literally pitch black. Tv signal was shocking. I wont be staying again
Kirsty from Stoke (24 November 2017)

The site is full of large potholes.cabin needed a deep clean.oven and pans dirty and no door compartments on the fridge.
Amelia from West Lances (24 November 2017)

Normal good service from the team
Kevin from London (24 November 2017)

This was our 8th visit and friends we have taken are already booked to go again and we will definitely be going back
Sue from Birmingham (20 November 2017)

This is probably one of the best log cabins i’ve stayed in. It’s very clean and has everything you need well stocked for you short break , very clean and the staff are very friendly and can not help you enough, nothing is to much trouble
Melissa from Derby (20 November 2017)

We enjoyed are stay at quarry walk lodges, the lodge we stayed in was very clean I couldn't fault the cleanliness 10 out of 10, there were a few things in the cabin that could of done with a refresh some fixtures looking a little bit tired but overall not bad, the hot tub was great and checked daily very clean, there were a few big pot holes on site which could of done with filling in to be honest, a quiet site and very relaxing which was what we were looking for, there are some good places to go and eat in the area not far away, there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area if you want to go out, we stayed there in november and I would highly recommend a stay in quarry walk lodges
Steven from Rhyl (18 November 2017)

Brilliant holiday, lovely hotub, the children spent a lot of time together in the hotub in the dark, which they found really fun.
Jonathan from Stoke On Trent (17 November 2017)

We were in lodge 20 and it needed a lot of updating. The bedrooms and bathroom decor were dated with marks on the walls, floors and rust on the radiators. There was mould all round the bath and the bath was slow to drain, and over the course of the stay became pretty much completely blocked. The mobile signal was pretty much non-existent and you had to pay for wifi to get anything of use. It was a real shame as the main living area and kitchen were decent enough and the hot tub was great - although the cover needed replacing. The staff were lovely and helpful as well, but it just felt as though - the lodge we stayed in at least - could do with a major internal face lift to feel like the retreat it should have been.
Ruth (14 November 2017)

We stayed in one of the badger cabins. The cabin itself was great, really authentic looking and with wooden furniture inside it was exactly what we wanted. The four poster bed was comfy and so was the leather sofa (perfect for afternoon naps!). the bathroom was clean and the shower and toilet worked fine. The underfloor heating was incredible, coming in from the harsh cold into what felt like a sauna! we even had to turn it down a couple of times! the surrounding area was great, you could say it was in the middle of nowhere but we went on plenty of nice country walks without any distractions (although we did end up driving to a few places/shops as they were out of walking distance). the hot tub was amazing, much more spacious than we thought, better than a lot of spa hot tubs! as it is kept ‘on’ 24/7 you don’t need to wait for it to heat up, just plunge straight in! the jets work well and you can change the colour of the lights - its difficult to find the motivation to get out once you’re in! the kitchen had everything you could possibly need; we bought food from the nearest asda and ate-in for 2 of 3 the nights we were there. The on-site staff were very friendly and helpful. There was only one minor thing that we noted. The phone signal is non-existent, we had no service or 4g throughout the stay so if you like to call people or use the internet it could be a problem (joining a wifi network was super expensive and not guaranteed to work apparently). this can be seen as a good or a bad thing I suppose. Our suggestion would be to have a direct phone line from the cabins to the reception, only to use for emergencies or for a quick question. Also the main tv could be a little bit bigger, but these are all we could think of in terms of nit picks! everything else was just what we wanted when we booked it. We really enjoyed our weekend stay and would definitely recommend it to others who are looking for a quiet/ relaxing time away in the open air.
Tommy from Beekshire (13 November 2017)

Shame there were not any designated footpaths to get to the nearest pubs and eateries, however the place itself you could not fault and the accommodation was so good we wanted to stay forever. will be booking back in there again and this is the second time we have been.
Heather from Norwich (10 November 2017)

A shame the towel rail in the bathroom's didn't work.
Tony from Maidstone (10 November 2017)

Went here with my fiance and 2 babies for his 30th birthday. We had the best time! the cabin was so clean! so cosy and very, posh? it was perfect. The hot tub was checked every morning which was great! the staff were so friendly and always there if you need them for anything. Can't wait to come back.
Michelle from Biddulph (09 November 2017)

We had an amazing 2nd visit to quarry walk. The cabins are amazing, hot tubs even better! will be back again next year :)
Kirsty from Glasgoe (05 November 2017)

Lovely break, would have been better if the wifi connection worked!
Faye (05 November 2017)

Lodge was lovely the park was peacefully. W
Sally from North Wales (03 November 2017)

Secluded, peaceful and only a short drive to the nearest town where you can shop for the essentials/get a pint at the pub.
Sam from Rotherham (02 November 2017)

The lodge did not live up to expectations. There was a few maintenence issues with the step being quite dangerous as the concrete had crumbled, I reported it to the manager/maintenance man as there was a big drop underneath the step but he made light of it and said he knew about it along with lots of of things that needed sorting and he would get around to it. The shower door did not meet so the floor was wet, hot tub had been turned down while we were out the day before we were due to leave so unable to use on our last night.
Claire from Barnoldswick (02 November 2017)

Once again - fantastic
Simon from Stanwick (30 October 2017)

Master bed a little small but comfortable enough. En suite shower not great and very small. Everything else awesome. Love the location, love the hot tub, accomadation well equiped and cozy. Staff very friendly. We will definetly be back.
Tracy from Surrey (28 October 2017)

A fantastic, relaxing holiday. Beautiful well kept lodges. Perfect location to explore.
James from Hereford (27 October 2017)

Almost £150 a night is way too expensive. Just because it’s school holidays it shouldn’t allow the price to almost double.
Ben from Braintree (27 October 2017)

Really lovely lodges and surroundings. The hot tubs are brilliant and the facilities are wonderful. All you need for a relaxing break. Definitely recommend and will be back to visit again soon.
Lauren from Shropshire (21 October 2017)

Absolutely lovely place.
Thomas (20 October 2017)

The cabin although very nice was slightly dirty in places, particularly the high chair and on top of all the tvs. . the park itself could have been better very sparse and unkept.
Hugh (20 October 2017)

Ideal for a quiet weekend, a bit remote could do with more walks from the lodges rather than having to go everywhere by car.
Customer 137 from Lanarkshire (20 October 2017)

Smoke/fire alarms going off every time u cook. So feel u cannot cook as u don’t want to disturb anyone. . . reception closed very early.
Jemma from Dover (19 October 2017)

Had a lovely time, very dark cabins could do with updating a little.
Laura (16 October 2017)

Brilliant holiday, perfect for a big family gathering!
Lisa (16 October 2017)

Fantastic holiday - would advise anybody who wants a relaxing holiday to visit.
Neal from Leeds (14 October 2017)

This location was perfect for what we wanted, quiet time together, scenic walks and time to relax. There was only a few issues, firstly the tv signal was poor due to wind and the wifi did not reach the rooms so we had nothing to do in the cabin,if you plan to relax at the cabin take dvds! the fridge in the cabin was broken but was quickly fixed with the first 2 days.
Katy (13 October 2017)

Quarry walk lodges exceeded our expectations. We were pleasantly surprised and the lodge was exactly how it looked on the website. Very comfortable and clean. The on-site managers were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The area is remote which is perfect for chilling out and enjoying walks, but it is close enough to several attractions such as alton towers and trentham gardens which were two excellent days out. The play park for the kids on site was small but the kids loved it! would definitely recommend this holiday park for families and couples.
Nicole from Fife (13 October 2017)

Beautiful place
Olivier from Birmingham (12 October 2017)

We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and it was perfect for what we needed the hot tub was amazing. There is no phone signal but that sometimes isn't a bad thing was nice to just get away from everything. The location was perfect was not too far away from local shops and we went to alton towers which was only about 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
Emma from Pirbright (09 October 2017)

The accommodation was spacious but the bedrooms and en suite were a bit tired. The hot tub was lovely as was the kitchen and open living space. The on site staff were great and showed us exactly how things worked and left a welcome pack of milk, bread, tea and coffee in the lodge. The roads through the site were in need of repair with lots of potholes and although the instruction manual said wifi was available it didn't work for us as there was no signal in our lodge. This was disappointing as we had no mobile signal either.
Julie from Farington Moss (09 October 2017)

Amazing place to stay and relax
Hayley (09 October 2017)

Needs to be cleaned better there was food on the floor on our arrival and also on the worktop.a gate would also be nice for more privacy in both sides of the lodge
Chris from Stockport (08 October 2017)

Me and friends had the best time at quarry walk lodges. Clean, quiet and relaxing!
Paige from Banbury (08 October 2017)

Lovely cabin although I had to do some cleaning when we arrived. Lovely and quiet. Would benefit from having a tin opener and a dryer and dishwasher that wasn't sub standard. Hot tub was superb. I think it's disgusting to charge for wifi that barely works due to lack of signal.
Pamela from Walsall (08 October 2017)
