Very large site, caravan’s lined up in rows like soldiers with as many crammed in as possible. Deluxe caravan was acceptable but nothing to rave about. Found dog toys and a bone in the caravan which was meant to be pet free and clearly hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. Facilities were ok, rough round the edges. Not enough going on for the number of guests at peak time. Couldn’t hire a bike as they were permanently booked up all weekend. Wouldn’t rush back!
Sarah from St Helens (30 October 2017)

Excellent caravan, clean tidy well looked after resort. Kids activities (for under 8’s) great. Disappointing so many extra activities had to be paid for - climbing wall, football sessions etc - actually don’t mind paying but the prices were ridiculous especially when you have a few children. £16 for the aerial rope walk is awful especially when you have already paid out for the holiday. Beach lovely - great walking thru sand dunes. Serious lack of wifi - only available in onsite pub no wifi in show bars or caravans. Over all had good break away but the cost of ‘extras’ would make me think twice about visiting again.
Emma from Northwest (28 October 2017)

Lovely site with lots to do however I feel they pack the costumers into the entertainment which is not great with a pushchair. Having our caravan so far away from main area with little ones wasn’t great along with being next a rail line that was busy and worked till late and started early.
Nicola from Leicester (21 October 2017)

Never give 10, so take what you want from that. Stayed at several sites over past few years, never disappointed
Richard from Inverness (20 October 2017)

Ideal for a quick little getaway with the family
Michael from Liverpool (20 October 2017)

My holiday was great. Had a problem with the food in restaurant but was sorted out straight away with good customer service.
Micheala from Manchester (20 October 2017)

Most staff were helpful. there were 3 bars one we didn't see open, one was getting ready to close at 9:30 and the other was vary loud. The power went down one day and we all had to evacuate the building so we went back to our caravan to sit in the dark.
Susan from Stoke On Trent (13 October 2017)

Lovely holiday.
Stephen from Basingstoke (06 October 2017)

We had a amazing time hoping to return next year
Zoey from Stoke On Trent (22 September 2017)

Really good been quite a few times, lady at reception didn't mention that travel cot and high chair would be delivered later on in the evening. So spent good half an hour on the phone trying to get through to ask where they were.
Angela from Birmingham (04 September 2017)

Great holiday and will definitely return
Jacquie from Kent (01 September 2017)

We had a lovely time my two boys loved the swimming pools mainly the outside one and the beach was just next to us which was nice not having a long walk. The staff in the restaurant where really lovely. We had a lovely relaxing week and my boys had the best time
Vicky from Warrington (01 September 2017)

The caravan was to far to walk I had to take the car
Colin from Llandudno Junction (01 September 2017)

Holiday was great, although the cleanliness of the accommodation left a lot to be desired. The pool was not clean and the outdoor pool was closed on the hottest august bank holiday weekend.
Ellen from Manchester (28 August 2017)

Location facilities overall was a great place to stay lots to do and close enough to other places to see. Had a nice time would go back
Jaz from Liverpool (25 August 2017)

Excellent
Theresa from London (25 August 2017)

Enjoyed our holiday. We was a little early for our check in lady at the desk was very polite and helpful our caravan wasn't ready but she found one that was. To save us waiting. Caravan was clean ish was a stain on the table which hadn't been wiped down. One of the pans had a lid missing they automatically came with a new lid. . event team were very friendly but find the activities a little expensive. Pool was clean we even got the chance to go in the relaxing river outside in the glorious sunshine. . . overall the holiday was very good we would go back again
Hilary (25 August 2017)

Filthy caravan.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (21 August 2017)

The only things that stopped me giving full marks was having to wait outside the caravan while the cleaning was finished. Also had to wait for minor repairs to be done. Had to report cutlery shortage which was sent quickly. Also there was no bedding for the lounge which also came quickly. Apart from that the caravan was comfortable and my grandchildren and I had a load of fun.
Anne from Lytham St Anne'S (21 August 2017)

Had an awesome time, the girls loved it, will definitely come back.
Michael from Manchester (18 August 2017)

Caravan we stayed in was absolutely filthy. Grease was left over the worktop and cutlery, jam was spread over the wall and there was crumbs everywhere. Staff clearly couldn't be bothered to even help. Totally disgusting and total waste of money, we even left early. For what the prices are you expect it to at least clean. The swimming area was also disgusting floors were filthy. Would not recommend this place at all.
Sarah (18 August 2017)

Very enjoyable would definitely recommend
David from Stoke On Trent (18 August 2017)

The food halls were packed.the arcade machines kept running out of tickets.the wster went off and when we called for assistance we were told to go to the shop or the clubhouse.they knew nothing about it and we bought water from the machines.we had 5 children with us and a person with type 1 diabetes.
Ann from Liverpool (14 August 2017)

Some of the areas could have done with a tidy especially golf. Parents need to be told to keep control of kids in play areas especially in the evening when the kids were just climbing all over play area and other kids couldn't play there because of them. They also let too many people on go carts track together.
Gail from Barrow (11 August 2017)

Everything was chargeable and very expensive- aquajets £4 per child - segway £20 per child, bars not open and no entertainment in the afternoon - not even afternoon bingo ? oven seal was broken so good took twice as long !! vans on denbeigh dunes face wrong way round so no benefit from the sun - no recycling facilities close to caravans. Bar staff great, friendly staff - pity they don't allow visitors passes - high ropes £16 per person !!??? what ?????
Paula from Lancashire (11 August 2017)

Perfect holiday for kids
Samantha from West Mids (11 August 2017)

We booked a newer caravan and it was lovely and clean. Site had everything you needed, was right near to beach and the staff very helpful. Would definitely visit again.
Jc (07 August 2017)

Stayed here a couple of years ago been meaning to come back sooner. Came beginning of august. Great place, great for the kids. Lots to do. Loved it. Highly recommended. Will be back again soon!
Louise from St Helens (07 August 2017)

We had a lovely 3 night stay at presthaven and would definitely recommend this site to others. The staff were obliging and the facilities, especially the pools were excellent.
Lindsay from Accrington (07 August 2017)

Lovely and clean caravan, staff very helpful and friendly and park had everything for small children only negative is could do with more activities for older children in the evening ie pool darts etc.
Dawn from Manchester (07 August 2017)

Holiday was brilliant ,combined with beach naturetrail path and resort things to do everything went really well thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely come again next year.
Mary from Liverpool (04 August 2017)

Booked a long weekend with grandchildren, they were kept entertained all weekend with the activities they booked on and everything else they wanted to do on the site.
Janet from Manchester (31 July 2017)

Lovely caravan, lucky it wasn't to far from the main entertainment complex. Plenty of things to do on site and the local area.
Desmond from Telford (29 July 2017)

Overall cleanliness of the whole resort would be 1 out of 10, that's the main facilities right down to the caravan. . the pitch was ill maintained with uneven flags, weeds and long grass. . the caravan was in need of general maintenance and major refurbishment. The heating did not work, the built in furniture had delaminates and the soft furnishing was old and threadbare beyond repair. The caravan itself showed no sign of a deep clean in literally years. . the cost of the holiday was not a discount rate and was much higher than some alleged less delux packages and was in no way value for money but overpriced beyond understanding. . a disappointment that will ensure we do not return again.
Gareth from Manchester (29 July 2017)

Activities are expensive but there is a lot of fun activities.
Lesley from Luverpool (28 July 2017)

Love this place, only downside is how dear the spar & mash & barrel is. When you pay a lot of money to stay there anyway in school holidays. Apart from that. Everything is great there x
Kelly-Marie from Failsworth, Manchester (28 July 2017)

Booked a 'deluxe' caravan, there was absolutely nothing deluxe about it. The smell on entering was awful and that was with all the windows open. We were moved the following day thanks to the lady who carried out the inspection.
Tracey (24 July 2017)

Fantastic caravan, lovely and clean and spacious. the surroundings were stunning
Nichola from Holyhead (17 July 2017)

Caravan was adequate. disappointed with the close proximity of caravans next to each other. could not sit outside caravan as it was a walk way between caravans. the grounds around the caravans were very unkept with litter and empty cans and bottles lying around. . eating facilities were good and not too expensive. . disappointed that the pool closes early as does the putting etc. . certainly will not return.
Angela from Lanarkshire (14 July 2017)

Great holiday and accommodation. Very clean. Would highly recommend to others and hope to return. All you could need on sight or very nearby. the good weather helped to.
Robert from Tranent (08 July 2017)

We were not impressed with this holiday, there was a large piece of broken glass on the sofa, the front door safety catch was on the floor, 2 light shades were on the floor. The spare quilt and pillows were stuffed in the wardrobes so much so that they fell out when I opened the door to hang our clothes and the kettle was infested with ants!. . this van didn't appear to be delux and after giving it a good clean we felt like we had stayed in much better accomodation at other sites. I paid £12 for a cot I had to chase up when we arrived and the fact that there were no basics such as towels and toilet roll made it feel cheap and generally a rip off for the money. . . I would not stay here again.
Sarah from Congleton (30 June 2017)

The caravan was very nice and clean, especially as it was a pet caravan. . . the pool had sand on the floor, otherwise was very good. . we will definitely go again.
Claire from Derby (26 June 2017)

Caravan was lovely and clean, impressed with facilities inside caravan. Well situated near to beach/sea and lovely long walks along the sandy beach. Not far from prestatyn/rhyl. All in all very good holiday, even weather was beautiful.
Gerald from Manchester (23 June 2017)

We like the camp but wasn't happy with our caravans when I booked it I booked two caravans for eight people for me and my daughter it was a prestige 3 with patio doors and veranda when we I got our keys I couldn't get in my caravan thay was not the right keys and wasn't the caravan we had booked we was there for a family members 50th birthday we booked eight caravans my other daughter booked a prestige 3 and hers want what she's booked she didn't have patio doors or varanas when we went back to reception I said that the caravans we had been given wasn't what was on the web sight she said thay are all different I said that false information and that we had payed a lot of money for the caravans we spent a lot of our time when we got there at reception we all liked the camp but not to sure why we had to pay to play mini gold and pay on the go karts I feel that we have payed a lot for our caravans and not got what we booked we all like the camp sight but not to sure if we will return .
Susan from Bury Lancs (29 May 2017)

We had a great time. The weather was good and there were lots to keep us occupied. The area was very tidy too.
Louise from Bury (29 May 2017)

Wonderful clean , well recommended
Kim from Bilston (26 May 2017)

Beautiful place to stay , the caravan was lovely and clean , we would go and stay again
Kim from Wolverhampton (26 May 2017)

We had a lovely time, our daughter is 2yrs old she loved the park, swimming, beach the seaside squad. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. Caravan was lovely & clean except for bird poo on the windows off the seagulls which can't be helped. Went to chester zoo which was 45min drive away, highly recommend! ask staff to book the night before to get a discount if you don't have internet. Would definitely go back.
Yvonne (26 May 2017)

We had a brilliant time, all the haven staff and let's go team were amazing they made every part of our stay enjoyable and full of fun
Katie from Manchester (26 May 2017)

Amazing time had by all my 10 year old daughter was brave enough to do the high ropes. The weather was scorching hot we all got caught out which meant buying after sun from the onsite shop. We enjoyed a stroll along the beach to the lighthouse finding jellyfish along the way. The staff were amazing one of the lifeguard at the indoor pool went down the slide with my 6 year old because he was anxious to do it on his self. Would highly recommend a visit.
Jenny from Stoke On Trent (26 May 2017)

Great holiday. caravan was clean and tidy. my little boy loved his first swimming experience in the lovely pool on site
Stephen from Manchester (26 May 2017)

I come back here every year for 4 years but just wasn't the same this year. While staying in the caravan they had works going on around the caravan . also due to me being disableled I asked could I be put closer to amenities as I can't walk far distances . where I was put was too far for me to walk every day to get to the main part of the holiday park which did put a downer on my holiday as I spent most of my time in the caravan. I do like prestatyn sands but this year just was not as good. Also I do this holiday to take my dog away each year and the caravan I was put in was nowhere near to clean standard and things was broke inside the caravan also only two windows which was a nightmare when the weather was really warm, I understand that the caravans would have not been as good as the ones that pets don't stay in but this one this year I was not happy with.
Kayleigh from Oldham (26 May 2017)

Our holiday was from 12th to 19th may, just myself and my husband. We travelled up from cornwall which took us 9hrs (roadworks, tea stops, etc). we chose presthaven because it is not far from the wirral where my husband comes from. His brother is in the royal liverpool hospital so we decided to make a holiday of it instead of just a weekend. We had a lovely time, the caravan was comfortable and clean and the site was very nice and very well kept. The only downside was that the site is too big, for us anyway. Our caravan was situated half a mile from main building and as my husband is disabled, we could not walk it, so had to use the car. We answered 'no' for that reason only. We did have a good time even though we are pensioners but it is not for us. Ideal for people with young children though.
Janice from St Neot, Cornwall (19 May 2017)

I was unable to bring the car up to the caravan to unload . my children are 3 years and 18 months so it was difficult moving stuff to and from the car. Our caravan was next to a busy railway line which operated through the night. This disturbed the kids, and me, at 3am and 5 am. The gas fire didn't have a suitable guard so I couldn't put it on when it was cold. the live lounge was dirty. Our feet stuck to the carpet and the dance floor was always dirty. The live lounge where all the entertainment was, was accessed through a large amusement arcade which was a nightmare. Both my children were drawn to it like a magnet. The indoor soft play area was dirty. I wouldn't recommend the resort and definitely wouldn't go again. It was our first holiday together on our own and I was so disappointed. The caravan itself was immaculate. The beds were comfortable and sheets spotless. The cleanliness of the caravan was a credit to the cleaning team who maintains it.
Julie from Southport (19 May 2017)

We had a great holiday at presthaven, caravan was clean and tidy but we had no towels, tea towels bin bags, toilet rolls etc so check this before going! and we were staying in a deluxe! not a problem as we just bought at tesco. Resort needs a little more tlc but apart from that it was great. We had lovely weather so it made our week. A trip to chester zoo is a must if staying here! lots to do and beach so close. Perfect holiday in north wales!
Laura from Whitland (12 May 2017)

Although the facilities were perfect were perfect for our holiday with a 3 year old in term time, it was clear that the part would be far too busy outside of this.
Marie from Wirral (12 May 2017)

Lovely place to stay, caravan was nice, resort had everything to keep kids occupied for the time we were there would recommend to anyone
Nick from Wrexham (05 May 2017)

The only poor thing was the food service at the mash barrel we had to wait over an hour and then the food was cold my steak was not well done but rare when I complained the waiter offered to microwave it I gave up and left and bought a pie from spar . service spoiled a really good break
Ray from New Romney (05 May 2017)

Love the beach for my dog and caravan was lovely
Debbie (01 May 2017)

Very disappointed with the none existent beach wich is now overgrown.
Bill (28 April 2017)

We had a great time! caravan was lovely, clean and bedding fresh. Only complaint I ever have is the starting time of the kids entertainment..it seems to be geared more at the time adults will be in the bar drinking and not what time the kids need it to be on.
Lucy from Manchester (24 April 2017)

The cost of bar and grill obcene .chip shop rip off . no parking by your caravan or in parking bays.
Robert from Ellesmere Port (17 April 2017)

Superb holiday although I don't think I can spend a full week for the sofa bed again if anything a few days if doing that but the holiday was great for 7nights big difference. Think I would go back for 10 days . but only for 6 in a caravan not 8 . although we had good space
Gordon from Glasgow (15 April 2017)

Very clean caravan and nicely laid out site.
Customer 64 from Northumberland (15 April 2017)

Had a lovely time, walked from the beach one day to the lighthouse ,we then walked along the nature walkway back to the caravan had a really good time enjoyed everyday the staff on site where always very polite and helpful
Mary from Liverpool (14 April 2017)

Got to site to find your not allowed to park near to your caravan let alone next to it. The site did provide six parking spots for around 25 caravans. This resulted in abandoned cars all over and folk driving over grassed area's to get their car outside. As we were unpacking a train went past, less than 8 metres from our caravan, these ran till after 11 at night and began before 6am, it would have been nice to know. Especially with three young children. Our caravan was a 'deluxe' for this you don't even get the basics, like a key to turn off the alarm that went off when we walked in (security came to turn it off) other items you don't get are a frying pan or other kitchen essentials. The only option to clean the floor after the kids was an outside sweeping brush! the caravan was obviously an old one with a refurbishment, a badly done one at that, it had electric radiators on the wall but no sockets to plug into, in fact to charge a phone we had to unplug something as there were no unused sockets apart from the one that had been blanked off!. the facilities were generally ok but just try to book something - one young girl with a queue of 20+ people all asking to book things, we tried for the pedal carts 'come back in half an hour' we were told four times. On the last time 'they've been stolen' = disappointed children. We then booked some of the free activities, went to the field where it was clearly marked 'outdoor activities' with three other families. 10 mins after it should have started we rang reception 'oh its not held there anymore' again would have been nice to be told when booking.
Ben from Otley (07 April 2017)

Best caravan site me and my family have stayed
Martin (07 April 2017)

Caravans are nice!. the club and arcades rides etc, are far too expensive.not good value for money!!!
Anthony from Runcorn (31 March 2017)

Good all round holiday only down side on first day that light shade was missing in lounge area but was not fixed during stay
Valarie from Bathgate (31 March 2017)

We arrived to be given a caravan below the standard we paid for, after over a hour of getting dealt with we eventually got a caravan that was not ready. We eventually got our caravan and it was lovely but we are now miles away from the centre of the comolex unlike the first caraven that we had been allocated
Laura (31 March 2017)

Had a lovely time, weather wasn't the best but still found plenty to do.caravan was great central heating in all room's.
Karen from Manchester (31 March 2017)

First caravan we was given was in my opinion was not a premium one smelt and not clean went and complained got another one which was much better cleaning still very poor lots of bits on all floors mess on doors and curtains did have to clean round as we have a 4 month old baby with us. Feels like cleaners don't have the time to do a good job. Very nice park again baby changing facilities not clean even though we went first thing obviously not cleaned before it opens. Will go again but try a privately rented caravan and check they have different cleaners to the site ones
Heather from Chesterfield (31 March 2017)

Very friendly helpful staff. clean swimming pool and changing areas. Great outdoor play area.
Ian from Manchester (27 March 2017)

Lovely clean site and the position we were in was fantastic. The only downside was the heating wasn't good at all and there was no gas fir to back it up when it was failing,we got a man out but even though he thought he solved it,it kept going off or not coming on. Overall its a lovely site and staff were freindly.
Anthony from Manchester (24 March 2017)

Heating failed twice but the response time was 10 mins so couldn't really fault. Love the area and was really please with the standard of the caravan. Site had many facilities which looked very good but I had no need to use them.
Valerie from Nantwich (24 March 2017)

Too much emphasis on gaming machines we felt. Prices for food far too high almost criminal , ie . £21 for two fish and chips in the mash and barrell, never in my lifetime . i'm sure if you brought your prices down for stuff , you would sell more ,
Steven from Tamworth (24 March 2017)

Was a good weekend away however the chippy on the site is over priced, we asked for the cupboard where the biker was to be shut as you had to use a gas key and they didn't do this with a small child it's a bit dangerous. Could do with an clothes aired to dry swimming stuff if the weather is horrid. And the fire didn't work either, but overall the caravan was lovely and clean like new
Emma from Northwich (20 March 2017)

Great place to go.
Jamie from East Kilbride (26 September 2016)

Was somewhat disappointed with this resort. 1- check in - badly organised, should be staggered. Is, not everyone checking in at same time. Had originally booked to take 2 dogs with me. Unfortunately both had passed away within a few weeks of each other so was on my own. However, had I had even one dog with me they would have to have been left unsupervised in a hot car or tied up outside on a warm day for about 30 mins+ due to the queues to check in which were not even clear which one of two to be in!!!. 2- my unit, despite the map given, was very difficult to find and, on finally finding it was poorly cleaned with filthy windows & mirrors and the fold out bed in lounge area left half put away - had to do this myself!!!. 3- despite being vaguely shown on map, beach access points weren't, in practice, clearly signposted so never got to see your own beach!! the one access I did find was a steep & difficult climb over sand dunes & had to abort. No steps or level access appeared to be available. 4- the units were too closely spaced & nearest car park too small with limited manoeuvring space when full, as was the case from the friday before I was due to leave. 5- left 2 days early as had had enough. Final straw was that 2 windbreaks I had taken in case I could use them but didn't, were stolen from under the unit where i'd stored them. They were there untouched up to the night before I left, but on going to load them in my car on leaving, they'd gone!!. not only would I not come back I wouldn't recommend it either!!
Peter from Northwich (26 September 2016)

Lovely clean caravan. Good facilities. Beach very disappointing though and underwhelming. . wish list of things to consider taking was sent a few days prior to arrival.
Jenny (23 September 2016)

When we arrived at presthaven beach resort my partner and I went to check in.we had a 3pm check in.. the que we had to stand in was unbelievable it took 1hour and 20 minutes people arriving at the 4pm check in was joining the que we was stood in.. finally they opened another table just solely for the 3pm check in people were there was 1 member of staff working on that table..on the desk were the 4pm people was checking in there were at least 4 members of staff working on there and people was getting there keys before the 3pm people didn't quite understand how that works but there you go..this was an out of season break to,i wouldn't like to even think what it would be like in high season..
Katherine (23 September 2016)

All the toilets stunck never clean
Colin from Newcastle (09 September 2016)

Good break caravan not as nice as the one we stopped in 2 years ago but the same standard prestige 3 bedrooms but we enjoyed the break anyway thanks
Adam from Stafford (02 September 2016)

Items on site were really expensive, the pool was constantly over-crowded and the outside pool was constantly being closed for activities. the food and the on site pub was reasonably priced but the food was overcooked and cold. the beach was good for the dog but we were not expecting to be 20 foot away from the train tracks and that did keep us awake most evenings.
Heather from Llandeilo (02 September 2016)

Had a lovely holiday. Beautiful area . most staff were lovey.
Samantha from Wakefield (02 September 2016)

Could do with a bigger swimming pool as too busy in peak times. . . some of the facilities need updating. golf course was very warn as well as some of the amusements in the arcade; and the playground & big deck chair were looking dated. . would have been good to have an offering of healthier food, instead of just pizza & burger king, as you don't always want to go into the pub.. . the grounds between the caravans were full of potholes (from kids digging) and limited lights for when you're working back after dark. watch your ankles, take a torch/use your phone as accident waiting to happen.
Kerry from High Wycombe (02 September 2016)

Great facilities for kids. A little expensive when you have more than child.
Rebecca from Worcestershire (02 September 2016)

Wasn't impressed . site was overcrowded caravans crammed to closely
Robert from Lichfield (02 September 2016)

Bay window looked onto the back of the next caravan, police were called as the people in the next van had a massive argument resulting in upsetting our last night and frightening us, it was our first holiday since my husband had a heart attack
Wendy from Stoke On Trent (15 August 2016)

Caravan was lovely, activities weren't very well organised, but the panto was brilliant!
Melanie from Cannock (15 August 2016)

Really enjoyed,lovely caravan
Teresa from Carmarthenshire (08 August 2016)

Excellent holidays destination.. enjoyed a lot..
Purvi from London (01 August 2016)

We spent a four day break here during the summer holidays. although it was really busy we still managed to find seats in the bar of an evening. there was eight of us in the caravan which was spacious and we had two toilets..result. the caravan was in great condition with everything we needed. our only negative because we had no car was the huge hike to actually get to the caravan. it took half an hour from the main entrance!!! I would strongly advise booking activities you wish to do in advance because they fill up quickly at peak times. we had five children with us and they enjoyed the go karts and ariel adventure, we also spent a small fortune in the arcades. the kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly, warmer weather would have been nice but hey ho we were in wales after all. we tended to buy from the supermarket and eat in as the queues for the restaurant were busy and a lot of our food choices were not available on the menu. would be better with a car to get out and about more.
Angela from Liverpool (29 July 2016)

Absolutely perfect for families and great that you don't have to use your car when you are there! so much to do on site but rather expensive. The fridge/freezers are full size in the caravans so make sure you go prepared with lots of food and beer, we will be doing next time! :)
Tom from St Helens (25 July 2016)

We really enjoyed our holiday here in july. there is lots to do on the park both indoor and out!the park is also linked to the most amazing sandy beach. Staff onsite are friendly and helpful! the indoor onsite water sport activities are varied and a brilliant experience for adults or children, only downfall is they do come at an extra cost. the onsite restaurant was lovely and clean however at busy periods staff seem to struggle, our orders were messed up several times although staff were helpful in amending this.
Tracey from East Sussex (22 July 2016)

We had a really good time .
Marta from St Helens (01 July 2016)

Perfect
Steven (24 June 2016)

Staff, very cheerful and helpful. the site - ok, but rather tired - expected better for the cost. no attempt to control/deter the seagulls, which were an absolute pain. so no, we won't be going back, as there are much better sites at no greater cost.
Valerie from Pembroke Dock (Pembs.) (18 June 2016)

Great for kids! definitely going again
Charlotte from Wallasey (17 June 2016)

We loved our holiday and would love to return for another holiday sometime soon
Anne-Marie from Shrewsbury (03 June 2016)

Lovely place, beautiful views, very clean caravan. So many attractions for children. Highly recommened :)
Kasia from Northampton (30 May 2016)

Lots to do on site for our children, great walk ways on to the sand dunes and children's clubs and entertainment were great. . very clean site and caravan. . best haven we have visited so far.
Louise from Gosport (13 May 2016)

Loved all of it
Janet from Leek (29 April 2016)

Very good holiday, the fun bus /drivers were very good, always happy &helpful
William (22 April 2016)

Great place for my dog and that's all that matters to us
Debbie from Oldham (18 April 2016)

Nice family run site, my 3 children loved activities and entertainment.
Marie from Willenhall (04 April 2016)

Would have liked to know just how big this site was and that the train would go past all day and all night! not a place to relax!
Andrew (28 March 2016)

Always return to presthaven for this short break period and it never fails to deliver, just a bit too windy for the ariel assault course which was closed meaning that the pool was very busy with a 30 minute wait, but still had a great time and look forward to returning next year.
John from Liverpool (28 March 2016)

We had a great time. The caravan was good and spacious. It was difficult to park your car at times and especially to unload your belongings on arrival. The facilities were good and the staff friendly and welcoming. The one thing that we would have liked was a welcome pack on arrival with instructions for the heating and appliances. It would also be useful to have basic local information like nearest supermarket and pharmacy etc. The entertainment was good and there were lots of activities to keep the children entertained. We were impressed with the quantity and quality of activities and facilities available out of season. We would definitely return to the site in the future
Amy from Cambridge (14 March 2016)

I enjoyed our stay here but was not as impressed as I was with the haven y mor park. The van (super delux 2) was a lot more basic and old fashioned in the living room than I would have imagined (dark brown, course material curtains etc)and the seats were so hard and unconfortable to sit on for more than 10 mins that we had to get the pillows from our beds to sit on at night. However, we were pleased with the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We were also pleased with the location of the van (denbigh). . the pool / changing rooms could have been cleaner (the no shoes rule was only vaguely enforced which means some people walking around in muddy shoes whilst others were barefoot, which was quite unpleasant). the staff at the pool reception were poor communicators at times when dozens of people were queuing out of the door and nobody knew what the hold up was (only one pool was open on three of the days we were there which led to overcrowding). a little explanation could have saved a lot of people a lot of time as they may have decided to come back later had they known it was 'one person out - one person in'. . . the food in the mash and barrel was quite good and I thought the wine was reasonable. The kids entertainment (shows by anxios/barny etc) was laughably appauling! my 3 and 6 year olds were bored stiff with a drawn out story about buns which was so repetative many people were rolling their eyes- not very relevant at all to today's audience. The access to the beach was good and we used the shop a few times. It would be nice if you had more seats at burger king / pappa johns and the chip shop so you could 'eat out' more rather than having to take food back to your van. Staff at reception, in the shop and restaurants were very friendly and helpful and seemed to take interest in each customer, which was refreshing.
Sarah (31 October 2015)

The park needs major attention to cleanliness and repair of general building , in winter more activities should be arranged and longer periods, the caravan should be more welcoming and fresh , we had to go into three different ones due to problems .the park restaurant food was microwaved and over cooked needs more attention to ways to improve this too. On the happier side of things arcade great , some great staff and also fantastic base with shop. The staff need to work on building a more solid customer service experience for all a little more delegation in the cleaning department , also evening entertainment needs toning down a bit too much infact painful to watch.
Louise from Norwich (30 October 2015)

There are to many caravans for the size of the amenities, it was very busy due to the school holidays. We felt that we paid peak prices but had off peak staff. There was one serving at the bar in the mash and barrel, queueing for food or drinks took forever. The same in the evening if you wanted to go in the live lounge you had to queue from 5.30 otherwise there was no chance of getting a seat. If you went in there at 7,8 or later there was no chance of sitting down or evening moving. There was only 3 staff behind the bar the queues were massive. It really does need more staff. I don't go on holiday to queue queue queue. I found the staff on the complex quite rude sometimes but not enough where I want to queue anywhere to complain. As for the swimming pool, why when it's really packed is there only one pool open? I got told by a life guard that it's because they didn't have enough staff, the pool that was open was packed and we couldn't move. We went swimming most days and had the same thing. One day we had to queue to get in and was told to come back at 2 (it was 9.30) because it was packed when I looked through the window there was one pool open the other empty. The changing rooms were filthy, so dirty it made me feel ill. Dirty floors water logged. Packed the size of the lockers were tiny. It was a let down. The caravan was nice not a happy stay
Kerry (30 October 2015)

Although we had a standard caravan we found the caravan dirty! . we had no cutlery in caravan,in which we asked customer services in a number of occasions we finally had them two days later!
Rebecca from Rugley Staffs (26 October 2015)

My 2 kid and myself went on holiday and it has been one of the best holidays we have been on it catered for us all
Sharon from Broxburn (23 October 2015)

This was our 2nd time at this resort and we really enjoyed this holiday with my sister in law n kids was really good for the kids n great entertainment, great caravan but would go for a bit bigger next time as we were a bit cramped, all I can say is amazing :)
Jennifer from Manchester (16 October 2015)

The caravan we had was comfortable and warm. Well presented
Pauline from Stockport (25 September 2015)

Great holiday great site only a little confusing trying to find caravans on arrival and a little more parking and paved paths to caravans as you trample grass and mud into caravans
Maureen from Blackpool (25 September 2015)

We only stayed for night out of 4 as the accommodation was sub- standard. There was no central heating, the fire did not work. The toilet smelt and we could not wait to pack everything away.
Alison from Blackpool (25 September 2015)

Lovely caravan. Did not use facilities as a base only for exploring the area. Would definitely return.
Sarah from Kent (25 September 2015)

Lovely place hence the reason for coming back but this time found security staff around the camp rude & hot water tap in caravan shower didn't work .. we reported this twice & nobody bothered to come to take a look at it
Sue from Manchester (25 September 2015)

Prestige caravan was lovely. Just like sitting in someone else's living room. Central heating a bonus. Had a nice break. Although I wouldn't take a dog with me as I had no car and would not of been able to take the dog on day trips to rhyl etc.
Sue from Merseyside (25 September 2015)

Kept awake all night by neighbouring caravan. Dirty nappy left outside caravan. Poor showers and changing facilities in pool area, no lockers which worked. On arrival took 30 mins for staff to locate where keys were for our caravan. Overall very poor!!
Graeme from Warrington (21 September 2015)

Great time it's just a shame that the only way you can access the evening entertainment or bars is via the amusements
Kate from Rochdale (21 September 2015)

Caravan had a really bad smell of cigarette's which was hard to remove,. . mid-week was kept awake at night till late and awoken early in the morning by some foreign teenagers that did not understand our plea's to be a little more quite. . at least our dog enjoyed his runs on the dunes and beach
Kevin from Swadlincote (18 September 2015)

Love going here with my dog who loves the sand dunes
Debbie from Oldham (14 September 2015)

Nice site generally. But is big and vans are quite close together. Good range of things to do, although pricey to hire a pedal buggy. Swimming pool changing rooms small, so be prepared to come ready changed and return to van to shower. Good range of food on offer in restaurants and on site convenience store fairly large. Beach just over sand dunes large and a good 2 mile path leads to talacre.
Allan from Cheltenham (24 August 2015)

This is the second time at. Presthaven we think its good value for money . lovery place and staff are great

Overall the park was clean and well maintained. there was a lack of facilities for toddlers. Fortunately we enjoyed good weather so were able to visit the nearby beach every day, if the weather had not been so good we would have found it difficult to entertain our 3 year old. The swimming pools were excellent but the system for people entering the pools needs to be looked at. at certain times the pools were full so queues formed and it became a 'one in one out' entry. however many people just walked in bypassing the queues because there just one person trying to man the desk and manage the queue.

Not impressed with the caravan we stayed in..we had 4 children this includes a baby and a 2year old. And we was put right at the back near the rail way line so they were trains constantly waking them up! also whwn I booked I asked for a bed to be taken out so I could put my tavel cot in..it wasn't done when we arrived and I had to asked 3 times!! the cleanliness of the caravan was appalling, very dirty and unclean. The place itself was lovely. On the last day we had to que for 2.5 hours with the children's tickets what they had won in the arcades because both machines was down. This spoilt the last day as we didn't have time to get pictures done with the characters which the children really wanted to do. We are in two minds wether to book primrose valley next year
