Most relaxing holiday ever made even better with the kind helpful staff on site
Mark from Aberdeen (20 April 2018)

Great time, good activities and lodge was spacious and clean.
Barry (16 April 2018)

Don't waste your hard earned cash on place. Should be renamed piperdump. old lodges are in a terrible state and the estate is very poorly maintained. It looks as if all the income has been spent on building four new lodges overlooking the dam. don't expect to get any sleep: several lodges had stag and hen parties and one partied all through the first night and until 1.30am on the second night.
Dorothy (16 April 2018)

Fantastic 3 night break in a muirloch spa lodge. the lodge and entire complex has everything you could need and will definitely be back again
Jennifer (16 April 2018)

Great weekend away
Gillian from Dundee (16 April 2018)

Lovely break, would definately return.
Gail (15 April 2018)

Massive potholes on road to lodge. nowhere in lodge to hang wet coats. Cereal/soups bowls are so small they can only be used for very young children. Tea towels, dishwasher capsules are provided but a couple of j clothes would be useful. Lodges very clean and staff very helpful. Good base for exploring the east coast.
Kay (13 April 2018)

We had a brilliant holiday, just a shame there wasn't more activities for under 3 years old. Only the jet skis, which my son loves would come back once he turns 3
Claire from East Linton (13 April 2018)

Was really looking forward to our holiday at piperdam. Was there 5 years ago and loved it, then raved about it to everyone else. Came this year with 10 other members of my family and was so disappointed. The upkeep of the lodges was dreadful and the state of some the roads was awful. The staff were brilliant, but the chef does not know how to make a sauce for a steak. It was like pouring milk on it. No driving range anymore which was not in the information.
Elaine from Edinburgh (13 April 2018)

This is our third time at piperdam, first time though in a smaller lodge. The byron lodge, for two is quite a new lodge and it is really romantic inside, beautifully furnished and the hot tub looked new. I really liked the restaurant, a bit pricey but really delicious, we went to the bar a few nights too and there was a live band at the weekend. The activities were really good, the guy that tutored us was extremely friendly, and explained things very well, we did crossbow lessons and segway lessons. . the one bad point was the road leading to the lodge from reception, it was horrendous. Being from aberdeen city i’m used to potholes, but the ones leading round to our lodge were 2 feet wide. The road looked like swiss cheese and even driving at 5mph you still bumped all over the place. Maybe it was that the byron lodge was pretty far round but it wasn’t a great feeling, constantly bumping all over. Excellent staff and fun activities, very clean lodge and hot tub, delicious restaurant but absolutely appalling roads.
Jennifer from Aberdeen (13 April 2018)

Lodges have become worn and run down, really need updated and more care
Thomas (13 April 2018)

Our lodge was wonderful, all staff very friendly even the maintenance team. The surrounding was very pretty the only thing to let it down was the state of the road to lodge and the building work right behind my lodge.
Yvonne from Croydon (13 April 2018)

Lodge was ideal. Very well maintained. Loved the hot tub and sauna. Staff were helpful and pleasant and activities my daughter tried were good. The leisure facilities are good. Great gym and swimming facilities good the pot holes on road up to lodge are ridiculous and are in desperate need of being sorted.
Margaret (13 April 2018)

Overall nice place some activities and prices a bit to expensive could do with a pool table
Dynese (13 April 2018)

Good relaxing break lack of phone signal was annoying and freeview kept cutting off
Terry (13 April 2018)

Loved my holiday at piper dam. Lodge spotless with quality fixtures. Plenty for kids to do especially when it’s raining. Staff very helpful...restaurant great but difficult to get a seat as busy most of time.
Carol from Falkirk (13 April 2018)

Location is great and plenty of things to do if you choose. Indoor activities for wet weather. I would suggest that the older lodges need updating. There were burns to the carpet and broken shelves in the fridge. Ensuite shower wasn't working . we did pass this on but it required a boiler check. We had the same lodge last year and the carpets fridge etc still the same. Hot tub not fully working either same as last year. the cost for 3 nights is quite high for these things not to have been rectified. That said we do enjoy our stay but it's the little things that matter. I also feel that the larger lodges should have a large fridge freezer. We take food with us and always have to take a small fridge as do our friends .
Beverley (09 April 2018)

That good were looking at coming back next year
Gillian from Motherwell (09 April 2018)

Think that the infrastructure is not in place for the recent growth in the development .safety is an issue ,we had a man at our door in the early hours of the morning which caused great upset to the children .the man had been a guest at a wedding on the saturday . the kitchens struggled with the amount of dinners on the saturday night . the staff which managed my sons wedding on the friday were superb and very professional.
Lesley from Dundee (09 April 2018)

Excellent spacious lodge (rainbow executive) . . lovely food at restaurant. . only negative I would say about the whole holiday was the condition of the roads up to the lodges they had terrible potholes everywhere,
Neil from Lossiemouth (09 April 2018)

Lodge was fantastic we had a fantastic weekend
Scott from Edinburgh (09 April 2018)

Had a great time at piperdam although we did not use the facilities much as we had other things arranged around the area. The first thing I should mention is check in is 4pm although it does appear to be 2pm in some documentation also check out is 10am. . the lodge we had didnt appear to be that old but i'm not too sure, it was certainly clean enough but some items were showing their age, I dont think the tumble drier condenser element had been cleaned in a few months/years it took some cleaning. One gripe I do genuinly have is after 2 days the en-suite shower adjuster stopped working and would either just stay on scalding hot or sometimes go cold then sneak back to hot unexpectedly! I reported this the next morning but no-one came from what we could see (the screw in the adjuster knob was still loose and the adjuster knob just span around with no effect) so I reported the next day. Still nothing so I mentioned it on check out and was assured someone 'had probably looked at it' although there was no evidence of this as the screw was still loose. The only way we could have a shower was to have the hot tap running in the bathroom and not turn the shower on too much. A complete waste of water and energy
Andrew from Khobar Saudi Arabia (09 April 2018)

An excellent park and only a few miles outside dundee with easy access by car. Very clean and well kept in all areas.
Graeme from Dumfries (06 April 2018)

Fabulous holiday lodge, spacious and clean, staff were very friendly
Lyndsey (06 April 2018)

Only thing that was disappointing was are meal in the restaurant. But in saying that the restaurant manager was very understanding and accommodating.
John from Loanhead (06 April 2018)

Superb lodge, excellent staff.
Zsolt from East Horsley (06 April 2018)

As someone that has visited piperdam before, I was extremely alarmed to figure out just before my partner and I went to bed that our gas was on. Neither of us had switched anything on other than the television. This put a worry on our first night about our safety in our cabin. I insisted on keeping our windows open for the remainder of our trip. . . minor annoyances. Cigarette ends around our hot tub area. Our neighbors using their hot tub at the early hours of the morning on our last night keeping us up. . plus. Relatively quiet. Clean lodge. Hot tub was taken care of. We went out for dinner to the restaurant on one day, the food was lovely, the staff were kind.
Samantha from East Lothian (06 April 2018)

The lodge was beautiful. food was great and first class customer service.
Philip from Airdrie (06 April 2018)

The road up to the newer lodges is full of potholes that can't really be avoided. I suspect this is a work in progress. The byron lodge itself is beautifully designed and decorated with fixtures and fittings of a high standard. One flaw we felt however is unlike the muirloch lodges which have 2 doors into the bedroom (one dedicated door and the other via the bathroom) the byron lodge has one door which goes into the bathroom from the living area meaning if your partner is in the bathroom you are trapped at either end. As these are essentially "couples" lodges this isn't a major issue however if you come away for a romantic weekend you don't particularly want to have to walk by your partner on the toilet...it kind of ruins the magic.
Leona from Aberdeenshire (02 April 2018)

Another great visit and good to see the improvements. only problem was not much for adults to do in bad weather.
Diane from Old Plean (02 April 2018)

Could have been better.
Linda from Clydebank (30 March 2018)

Disappointed with standard, shower mouldy, kitchen handles broken, lack of kitchen equipment for self catering, sofa too soft - everything needing an update. However overall was clean and staff in reception helpful, appreciated amount of towels. Hot tub was good
Barbara (30 March 2018)

Enjoyable break with family, lodge in need of refurbishment especially kitchen appliances. Great pool, soft play area and good food in the restaurant. Excellent treatment in the spa.
Jennifer from Aberdeenshire (30 March 2018)

Absolutely fantastic. exceeded our expectations. Thank you
Heather from Aberdeen (26 March 2018)

Home away from home. I love everything especially the fact that you dont have to follow rules like breakfast time etc. I wake up when I want and eat when I want. Fantastic and cost effective. Will definitely go back.
Rita from Polmont, Scotland. (26 March 2018)

Had a lovely weekend
Confirmed Holidaymaker (26 March 2018)

Lovely place for a relaxing break, facilities are great, all the lodges are immaculate and well maintained. Staff incredibly helpful and happy. Restaurant is very high quality and delicious food. Always happy to visit piperdam. Only thing letting them down is their roads; roads around lodges are like driving on the moon, very concerned for my car!
Daniel (23 March 2018)

Good.
Donald from Aberdeen (23 March 2018)

Nice lodges nice park but could do with some entertainment on week days and not just weekends could also do with a security guard on at night we had problems with loud music there was a number to call but it did say only use in extreme circumstances we did complain about a few things that was broken in lodge which was fixed quickly and we told them there was chunks out the bottom of the hot tub but nothing was done about it while we were there
Tracy from Kirkcaldy (23 March 2018)

Second time we have been here absolutely love it great lodges great food friendly staff lookingvfoward to next year's visit
Samantha from Mansfield (19 March 2018)

Very pleasant stay, very nice lodge and surroundings, only down side was the place claimed to be dog friendly but couldn't take dog anywhere apart from a walk and the lodge. Would of been nice to take into bar area for a drink etc.
Ryan (19 March 2018)

Lodge was really nice. Rooms were huge. Hot tub made the difference. Used the kids soft play nearby. Thought we would have had free entry but not even entitled to a discount. Pool was too cold for babies. Road leading up to the lodge was full of potholes with no other way in or out. Surprised my car wasn’t damaged.
Lee (18 March 2018)

Had a wonderful, although the lodge could do with some proper dusting ie. The lights and ornaments. Other than that great
Erin from Bishopton (18 March 2018)

Tv reception is an issue. . need cost hooks in lodge.
Yvonne from Stirling (16 March 2018)

Nice lodge. Excellent facilities. Good location
Caroline from Inverness (16 March 2018)

Had a fantastic stay at piperdam. Lodges were fantastic and restaurant and bar area was lovely. staff were very helpful and friendly. Would defo go back.
Sandra from Glasgow (12 March 2018)

Enjoyed it very much.
Wendy (11 March 2018)

Hot tub makes the holiday much better.
Kenneth from Livingston (09 March 2018)

We have stayed at this resort on many occasions and we have still to find any fault and we have highly recommended this location many times to friends and family
Martin (09 March 2018)

No matter what the weather you can still have a great time at piperdam due to the on site facilities and very comfortable lodges. just come back from our third visit, it won't be our last!
Helen from Northumberland (09 March 2018)

A great holiday although a tad dear, it was still worth it.
Leslie from Paisley (09 March 2018)

We had booked a 5 day break after hearing good reviews from friends. We were not disappointed and will definitely be back. The staff were very helpful during our stay and even ensured my mother was transported back to our lodge after becoming cut off at reception due to a heavy fall of snow which blocked us in for 24hrs.
Thomas from Edinburgh (09 March 2018)

Short break. New experience with all the snow but helpfulness of all the staff made the stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Graham from Carluke (09 March 2018)

Great accommodation & on site facilities.
David from East Kilbride (09 March 2018)

Have been going to piperdam for 5 years in a row and love it staff in all departments are wonderful. Facilities for family are brilliant and love the addition of little pipers play area. Restaurant and bar food excellent. Usually stay in osprey lodge which is very comfortable.
Marie from Dundee (05 March 2018)

The lodges looked lovely in the snow after the best from the east hit, nothing better than sitting in a hot tub as it's snowing. I would recommend the on site restaurant, the food was lovely when we ate on the saturday night. The bar lunches are tasty as well. Booked up again for my father's 60th in august
Marc from Cumbernauld (05 March 2018)

We were there for wedding the weekend of the beast from the east!!!!! lovely wedding but no golf
Lorraine from Brechin (05 March 2018)

Brilliant time at piperdam. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family
Heather from Glasgow (05 March 2018)

Stayed with my husband and three kids. We had a amazing time . the weather made the stay we had heavy snow it was picture perfect till we had to drive home lol . the hot tub made our stay. This was our second stay and definitely would go back again. The cabin had everything you needed and was spotless. My family enjoyed using the facilities swimming and gym was a favourite. Lovely place would definitely recommend it.
Lee from Airdrie (02 March 2018)

Bathrooms mouldy, couch tatty, broken handles in kitchen, carpets an walls marked and stained. Snowed in, didn't clear roads had to push new car out numerous times just to get down to centre for food, forced people to leave during red weather warning, drive home was very dangerous. Pool gave us all horrible rash. They still expected us out by 10 an the place clean and rubbish taken down to centre!!. that being said the place is well equipped with facilities, restaurant was nice, an the hot tub was lovely an we tried to make the best of it. An the fact that there were staff there given the weather is a credit to them.
Hannah (02 March 2018)

Loved it. Unfortunately we were there when the snow was heavy so couldn’t so as much as we planned but everything else was great.
David from Glasgow (02 March 2018)

Had a great weekend with my family celebrating my birthday
Catherine from Glasgow (26 February 2018)

We were a party of 10 and the sleeping arrangements were fab. All bedding and towels provided an added plus, all beds comfortable and every room ample storage and space. Even at 10 it was comfortable and seating for everyone even at the dining table.
Shelia from Dunipace (26 February 2018)

Great location and fantastic lodge.
Teri from Dundee (26 February 2018)

Great place for family or friends
Melanie from Aberdeenshire (25 February 2018)

Booked a three bedroom lodge for my wife’s 50th birthday for myself my wife and our three children. I booked a bottle of wine with a card to be in our lodge on arrival as a supprise. The bottle and card were not there when we arrived and I had to go to reception to ask for it. Although I received a refund the supprise was lost. Also disappointed with the service in the main restaurant where I had to ask three separate members of staff for a jug of water before it finally arrived. Also was disappointed that although there is two restaurants the menu for both is almost identical. The lodge itself was fine and the staff were all polite but for what I paid I was expecting a better standard of service.
Brian (25 February 2018)

Had a lovely time. Lovely lodges.
Kay (23 February 2018)

Love piperdam! go every year! just got home last week and already looking at booking up!
Lauren from Edinburgh (23 February 2018)

Very clean lodge, everything you needed for a lovely family holiday. Camperdown wildlife park worth a visit. We had a brilliant family holiday celebrating my birthday. Beautiful places to visit.
Sarah from Caernarfon (19 February 2018)

Had a great time but roads were full of potholes which was dangerous not only for cars but pedestrians as well. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere in the restaurant and bar
Neil from Dundee (19 February 2018)

Had such a fantastic stay. lodge lovely- clean and modern and spacious. activities were really well organised and staff were very good with the kids. bar and restaurant were great. will definitely be back!
Siobhan from Merseyside (19 February 2018)

We stayed at a rainbow plus lodge . the lodge beds could be more comfortable and could do with more kitchen equipment to cook with , very sparse compared to other lodges we have stayed at previously . could do with being updated . we found the staff very friendly and great customer care , especially with the kids doing activities . susan , cameron and ewan were fantastic with the kids , which made their holiday great fun .
Sharon from East Lothian (16 February 2018)

Had a great time, my only criticism is that the flooring in the lodge was a bit grubby and could do with being replaced.
Lyndsey (16 February 2018)

Lovely resort. Very clean. Staff are friendly. Road to lodges are terrible with pot holes.
Christine from Edinburgh (16 February 2018)

Had a great time in a lovely lodge with all the facilities we could need for a weekend.
Lauren (12 February 2018)

Peace and quiet most relaxing for a long time.
Stephen from Cumbernauld (12 February 2018)

We enjoyed our lodge and jacuzzi. Bar was good, staff were excellent and restaurant served great food at reasonable prices. Took part in an archery session too and the host was engaging and fun.
John from Edinburgh (12 February 2018)

Enjoyed the lodge, not to impressed with facilities and restaurant. Not value for price. I’ve been to better.
Les from Bonnybridge (12 February 2018)

Excellent staff, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Restaurant also excellent.
Marj (12 February 2018)

Great weekend break. Plenty of room to relax and take it easy
Alistair from Dundee (11 February 2018)

Been to piperdam on a number of occasions and always had a relaxing time. My only worry is that it's beginning to get a little too big and, in doing so is, loosing it's charm. Also, the communal areas are starting to look a look a little tired, especially the settees in the bar. But, I still had a fab holiday and will probably return at some point over the next year.
Ann from Aberdeen (09 February 2018)

Brand new byron executive lodge was fantastic! piperdam have excelled here! nice wee touches here and there. . can't wait to return. Only negative was the roads around the lodges are a disgrace! on going building work is understandable but even a temporary surface would be better than what's there.
Suzanne from Wishaw (09 February 2018)

We go ever year and love it. It’s my son’s favourite place and looks forward to going every year. full of happy memories.
Ann from Stenhousemuir (09 February 2018)

Brilliant thinking about xmas there
Craig (09 February 2018)

First visit, i’ve always thought it was overpriced but got a decent out of season rate this time. . great site, lodges are not too cramped together. And handy that it’s only 5 minutes to dundee so you’re not short of things to do. . the complex was only a 5 minute walk. Staff are all really friendly and helpful. Soft play and swimming pool are brilliant for the wee ones. Menu looked great in the activity centre, although we didn’t eat there. restaurant was good quality, and the take away are a great idea for when you don’t want to cook. I’d definitely go back, but not in high season as it’s overpriced at that that time.
Donna from Stirling (05 February 2018)

Good weekend lovely lodge
Louise (05 February 2018)

Great time had by all, lodges need some refurbishment, mould on grout in shower. Hob difficult to use and control knobs on oven were unreadable
Nancy from Stonehaven (05 February 2018)

Lovely place, log cabins with everything you need. A lovely restaurant with very good staff, nothing was a problem. The food was absolutely delicious, there was 16 of us and the food all came at the same time, lovely and hot and beautifully cooked. Lots for the children and yet again the staff were extremely helpful in the activity barn.
Lorna from Banchory (05 February 2018)

This is are 3rd time at piperdam and we love it we would recomend this place to everyone
Jane from Edinburgh (05 February 2018)

We love piperdam and go on at least 2 occasions a year. the staff are attentive and are always on hand. they have made a start on fixing the potholes which makes a difference and they have upgraded the lodges.
Laura from Cumbernauld (05 February 2018)

The lodge we were in was only built in 2017 and was exceptional, with all the mod cons and a fantastic hot-tub and it certainly is the place to chill completely. The pool was great and not too busy as were the steam & sauna rooms. The restaurant offers a superb choice of meals and was very reasonably priced. Entertainment on the saturday night was great too. Three things I would like to see changed - the pot holes in the road to our lodge - very bad in some places, the road lighting is quite dark when walking to and from the restaurant at night - watch out for the pot-holes and lastly, 10.00am is early for checking out and would like to see this extended to 11.00am.
Moira from Fife (04 February 2018)

Really enjoyed our 4 night stay in the rainbow executive lodge.
Mark from Scotland (02 February 2018)

This is the second time we have been now and we love it . the staff are friendly and welcoming any problems they are always happy to help the lodges them selfs are clean and warm and the hot tub is a bonus great get away and plenty of activity’s to do on site if you have kids
Kerrin (02 February 2018)

Comfortable lodge with hot tub and sauna although living room furniture in need of updating. Nice restaurant and decent variety of dishes on menu.
Karen from Johnstone (02 February 2018)

Lodge could be doing with upgrading but very comfortable and observed positive changes since new owners took over
Adrienne from Bonnybridge (02 February 2018)

Carpets in the lodge were fithly and in general the lodge could do with a good clean and an upgrade. Door handles hanging off dirty pots and pans, broken and dirty showers, the kids soft play area was also filthy.
Lewis (29 January 2018)

Gets better each time
Tom (29 January 2018)

Stayed for a weekend and couldn’t fault it - the lodge, the service, the location, the facilities all lovely.
Leah (29 January 2018)

Had an amazing time at piperdam weekend of 26th january. Stayed in the byron premier no 84. Could not have been cleaner! it was spotless. Staff in the main facilities were most helpful, the food was good too, and the lady who took us quad biking was so much fun! had a lovely walk around the lake and my partner enjoyed the 9 hole course. Only thing that could improve is the pool & steam room facilities. Flooring was a bit dirty and not the nicest to walk on, it is advised that people wear blue shoes and all were doing so apart from staff. The steam room had very little steam and the seats to sit on had freezing cold water on it. Sauna was lovely! I will definitely return and would highly recommend!
Rebecca from Edinburgh (29 January 2018)

Amazing place can’t wait to go back
Vicki from Edinburgh (29 January 2018)

I have been here a few times and i’m never disappointed the lodges are fab and it’s in a relaxing environment. The addition of the soft play area is great.
Angela from Linwood (26 January 2018)

Was there for four days with my partner for my 40th birthday, very relaxing, lodge was stunning and had everything we needed
Fiona from Wishaw (26 January 2018)

Had an absolute fantastic time. accomodation was superb. Allready recommended it to numerous friends and relatives. Only one slight observation, but its not a complaint! it would have been nice if there had been some form of entertainment at night time. Got a bit fed up with the telly cause as everybody knows its pretty rotten. But I do realise that when I did go it was off season so it probably wouldn't have made financial sense to pay a professional entertainer through the week. But I will say again. I loved it!
Grant from Edinburgh (26 January 2018)

Loved every minute of it fantastic break
Gail from Airdrie (22 January 2018)

Have visited piperdam on numerous occasions spending time in the vegas lodge. it is fabulous for family and friends to get together whilst giving everyone the space they need. the hot tubs are fantastic and the range of equipment is brilliant in the kitchen area. there are plenty of seating areas and the games room provides great family fun. the vegas lodge is our favourite however we have stayed in some of the other larger lodges and thoroughly enjoyed these stays also. the price is quite expensive for the vegas lodge however we only ever book it for special occasions.
Pamela from Glasgow (22 January 2018)

Great holiday for total relaxation.
Natalie from Peterhead (22 January 2018)

Very relaxing and the staff very helpful. Pool and bar excellent. Will definitely return.
Linzi from Livingston (21 January 2018)

Easy to find, well signposted. Staff friendly & helpful. Nice area and surroundings. Good sized pool, clean changing facilities, well equipped gym. Golf course available on site.
Claire (19 January 2018)

Had a great break away with all my family celebrating my husbands 60th birthday.
Agnes from Harthill (19 January 2018)

I have being to piperdam 4 times last year being in rainbow excutive 3 times byron once but the last rainbow one was so disappointing to other didn’t seem. As clean both showeres were blocked we actually left a day early because we didn’t enjoy it
Lorraine from Piperdam (19 January 2018)

Stayed in muirloch executive with hot tub, or should I say hot bath, as previously experienced the jet pressure was a disgrace! bedroom wall was damaged on arrival and obviously not reported by the cleaners, with a damage deposit held obviously concerning! potholes on the roads were shocking and pathways to facilities very slippy due to the mud! staff at the main facility were excellent and food was good quality, appreciate a lot of investment in development of new lodges, however older lodges need tlc! doubt very much we will return after 3 visits, other sites are much better quality and value!
Alan from Glasgow (19 January 2018)

Had a great time away. No complaints atall. Lodge was immaculately clean
Carla from Motherwell (19 January 2018)

Brilliant time away. Happy to pay the price we got it for in january but wouldn’t pay summer prices
Lisa from Dumfries &Amp; Galloway (19 January 2018)

On arrival we upgraded to the vegas lodge however although the bedrooms and ensuite looked as if they had a bit of refurb the upstairs was very poor dirty floors kitchen tap broken, dishwasher faulty hoover didn’t work curtains falling off broken rails dining chairs broken and sofas very dirty. upstairs toilet not screwed to floor hot tub didn’t work
Sheila from Bo’Ness (15 January 2018)

Had a fantastic time but the only reason I put a lower score for location and surroundings is because of the absolute disgraceful road up to our lodge 81 I have a mini and once we parked up we didn’t feel we could take the car back out until the final day as the pot holes were horrendous literally 100’s of them which were also a sprained ankle hazard as the lighting was poor leading up to our cabin, apart from that it was a great weekend
Samantha from Leven Fife (15 January 2018)

Excellent place. only downside is no wifi in the lodges. There is very little phone signal so having to walk to the centre for wifi to try and plan days or order takeaways was slightly annoying.
William from Aberdeenshire (15 January 2018)

Beautiful lodges and excellent value for money
David from East Kilbride (14 January 2018)

Gorgeous lodge great service and value for money
Carol from Glasgow (12 January 2018)

Had a lovely stay really good deal mon to fri in lodge with hot tub staff were really nice nice area . worse thing was the potholes around the lodges
Carol from Rhu (12 January 2018)

Great holiday staff very helpful will certainly be back.
Emma from Dumfries And Galloway. (12 January 2018)

Great lodge in a nice place but they need to fix the road too many pot holes
William from Kirkcaldy (12 January 2018)

Absolutely stunning lodge in peaceful surroundings - would happily live there ! one criticism would be the tracks up to the lodges - they are a work in progress and full of potholes.
Christine from Livingston (12 January 2018)

Lodge was lovely and warm. a few minor defects, which were fixed. Well equipped but could have had a smaller pot, as there was only two of us and all the pots were "family" size. Loved the wooded location and amenities. Building works going on along edge of loch, but it does not interfere with the play barn or the walk around the loch and golf course.
Gail (12 January 2018)

Would recommend to others. however it would be ideal if you could vacate the property say 12 noon as entry is not before 4pm. also when booking your lodge it would be great to see the lodge number before proceeding with booking as I have been on a few occasions and would say I have a preference to what muirloch lodge I would visit again.
Anne from West Lothian (08 January 2018)

Great holiday. However, toulet roll could be provided in the cabin for the money paid and it would be good to have a footpath to the local pub in birkhill.
Leanne from Clackmannanshire (08 January 2018)

Been using the lodges at piperdam for a while and other ones but keep going back to piperdam as it’s the best ever
John from Bellshill (08 January 2018)

Been to muirloch lodge several times and had a lovely time, however standards are slipping! repairs needed sofas uncomfortable tv tiny and just generally not up to standard for the price. Park getting too big and noisy for a romantic getaway. Won't be back in a hurry
Bruce from Kinross (08 January 2018)

Lodge was lovely. Hot tub kept heat the whole time. Staff were polite and welcoming.
Kirsty from East Lothian (08 January 2018)

The lights in the lodge were dusty and had cobwebs on. The toilet brush was disgusting. The hot tub and lodge were fenced in without much room and no outlook. Very disappointed
Courtney (07 January 2018)

9 of us stayed in 3 lodges at new year, as we’d left it to late to get one for us all together. We had 2 muir loch executive lodges, one pet friendly. This was not half the standard of the non pet friendly, although the same money had been paid. Lodge 27 was spotless and luxurious, with a lovely big open plan kitchen/living area. . the third was a 2 bed rainbow lodge, which had problems with the heating. We did request help, which came immediately but a couple of the radiators wouldn’t turn down. So you were either roasting or freezing. The front door lock was very temperamental and one of the patio door locks were broken. . the food and service at the restaurant was excellent. . the facilities for kids was very good with a fantastic soft play area and again service from staff was excellent. . a car is a must, as the roads to the lodges are not good. With lots of pot holes. . there is absolutely no phone signal from any of the lodges.. hot tubs were a big hit!
Kerry from Miller (03 January 2018)

Vegas lodge was a bit tired but still really enjoyed the facilities
William from Stonehouse (03 January 2018)

Fantastic new year break. Hot tub and sauna were a great addition to our holiday. Staff very friendly. Surroundings beautiful. Pool great. Only reason it scored lower on value for money was because the price was hiked up a bit for new year.
Conway from Glasgow (03 January 2018)

Over all decent lodge but a few things that could have been better ( osprey lodge 14 ) we had 3 gentlemen all 5 10" and over and the short back leather couches were too uncomfortable for them to relax and watch tv . they ended up going to bed early each evening so they could have a lie down as the couches were causing strain on their back and necks. Some of the kitchen cabinets were a bit damaged and some needed replaced.had to request a frying pan, could do with more pots for cooking. This was a 3 bed lodge so 2 pots were not sufficient for self catering
Anne from Falkirk (30 December 2017)

When booking with hoseasons it would have been nice to be informed that we could have christmas dinner in the resturant instead we had to pre-book elsewhere. I was told at the time of booking that the resturant would be closed during thechristmas period. Also no wfi in lodges needs to be looked into and only one small tv in lounge area. Not many things to do for children unless you pay..swimming was free.
Shirley (30 December 2017)

We had a lovely break - couldn't fault the facilities or staff.
Nicola (30 December 2017)

Love piperdam but older lodges needing a lot of attention. Not worth the money anymore. Shabby furniture and stained carpets. Also not cleaned to a high enough standard.
Sharon (29 December 2017)

Very happy with the lodge. Better than expected. Warm and comfortable. Hot tub very popular. Being picky would have liked shower gel in bathrooms and more toilet rolls. Did not spoil the holiday would definitely stay again.
Carol from Dalgety Bay (29 December 2017)

Had a lovely time the lodge was lovely and a very short walk to reception and bar. the cleaning staff do an excellent job everything was clean tidy and glasses were shining. Plenty of parking and food was lovely. reasonable prices both for food and drink. would recommend . only downfall was that I had to leave my dogs at home as the lodge for pets was already gone.
Rebecca from Maidstone Kent (29 December 2017)

We spent christmas in an osprey plus lodge - we all had a great time! when we arrived the lodge was really warm and lovely to have towels provided - after reading reviews about the cleanliness of the lodges I really didn't see what the problem was. our lodge was clean and very comfortable. yes of course the furniture is not going to be brand new but everything worked and we had a fantastic christmas dinner there. we loved the outdoor hot tub and it really got a lot of use! the restaurant and bar are really lovely - the staff are really helpful and friendly. we ate in the restaurant on christmas eve and then used the bar for meals later in the week. I would definitely recommend piperdam. if you want to go out you are only about a 15 minute drive from dundee centre and lots of supermarkets and shops (asda only about 5 minute drive). all in all we had a fabulous christmas and would recommend and would also come back again (esp if there is wifi!)
Colin from Ellesmere Port (29 December 2017)

We had a great family christmas staying at piperdam. The christmas meal was beyond expectation and the staff very attentive and pleasant. Would definitely recommend!
James from Edinburgh (27 December 2017)

This was our first visit to piperdam and we were very impressed with the lodge which was so comfortable and well furnished.all the staff were friendly, helpful and very courteous.this all helped to make our christmas break with our family very special.
Cyril from Rothes (27 December 2017)

This has to be the most relaxing holiday ive had. Staff were outstanding and lodge was amazing will defo be back.
Louise from Shotts (22 December 2017)

Had a 4 night stay was everything we expected left fully refreshed and relaxed
Jacqueline from Banff (15 December 2017)

Perfect area for a nice relaxing break. Lodge was spotless and had everything we required. Staff at the centre was extremely helpful especially two bar staff. Didn’t get their names but two young guys, one who did the quiz and the other with a beard and glasses. Theses guys went the extra mile. Cannot knock the place at all. Definitely will be back. Well done.
Harry from Cardenden Fife (15 December 2017)

Been a couple off time was getting a bit shabby but got a bran new on excellent will be back
Pauline from Greenock (11 December 2017)

Lovely weekend. lodge was the basic osprey but it was good and reasonably priced.
Karen from Leven, Fife (10 December 2017)

This was our 4th visit to piperdam.. we enjoy the peacefull surroundings and the friendliness of the staff. We made good use of the gym and the bar food is delicious.
Lynne from Glasgow (08 December 2017)

Returning visit for last 6 years with large family and will probably do same for many years, excellent pre christmas break, improving year after year.
Brien from Scotland (08 December 2017)

My wife and I and grandkids had a great weekend recently stayed in a rainbow executive lodge the resort seems to have moved up a level since the new owners have taken over will definitely be back only criticism roads around lodges still bad need resurfaced!
John from Tranent (04 December 2017)

We had a great time and would definitely return. Loved the lodge and hot tub. We did have an issue with the hot tub not working but it was resolved the day after we arrived. There were also a couple of house keeping issues. Which we raised with reception on departure. Food was good in the restaurant and bar and facilities are great. Our only constructive feed back would be to sort out the road with all the pot holes and make some proper footpaths with better lighting to walk around the lodges and to the activity barn.
Carol from Uddingston (04 December 2017)
