Excellent location to chill out and relax.and lodge was of a high standard.couldnt have asked for more.been three times already and will be returning
Lynsey from Durham (31 August 2018)

Not really sure about this lodge, being being classed as 'boutique & spacious'. we have stopped in many lodges, and this is not up there on our list of brilliant ones. Especially given the price paid. Sadly it was not as clean as we would have expected. There were no little luxuries. No fluffy towels (small brownish ones), no welcome treats (such as milk, bread, biscuits - which we have had provided in other lodges). lastly the hot tub was a bit dated, and we think was probably bought second hand. Again given the price that we paid, unfortunately we expected a little more.
Joanne (27 August 2018)

Lodges were beautiful only 3 in complex but space for others. kids loved playing in nearby stream and in the caravan play park.
Joanne from Aberdeenshire (20 July 2018)

Lovely welcome from bob. Very peaceful only three lodges, therefore very relaxing holiday.
Margaret from Dunfermline (13 July 2018)

Bob the on-site caretaker was wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. the location was idealic. However, the lodge whilst very clean and spacious could do with an update. Bed was very uncomfortable. Way overdue a mattress upgrade. With the hot weather a shade over the hot tub would have made it more useable during the day. As would a temperature control so we could have turned the heat down. No on-site eating facilities.
Samantha from Shropshire (06 July 2018)

Lovely location, very peaceful, lots of wild life and enjoyed the hot tub.
Alison from Northampton (29 June 2018)

Lovely lodge, in beautiful surroundings. Very relaxing and enjoyable.
Amanda from Ashington (21 May 2018)

Nice place and very remote if u want a peaceful break or walking this is an ideal place
Tracey from Coventry (18 May 2018)

Well prepared lodge next to a river. Well maintaned grounds and site. The site manager is very pleasant and helpful. Full briefing given about everything you need to know about. Comfy bed and a hot tub, what else do you need?. if you get cold outside, just put the heating on, 10 minutes later you will be turning it off again, it is brilliant. Great site, great lodge, great people. I can very highly recommend it
Rick from Lincolnshire (04 May 2018)

Great holiday, brilliant views, lovely hot tub, will be back
Robin (04 May 2018)

A lovely lodge in a beautiful setting with everything you need to chill for a few days. We were a party of 6 mature ladies on a hen weekend and could not fault this lodge except for the dining chairs need to be replaced lost all of their padding. A beautiful hot tub on decking to relax in to the watch the rabbits and pheasants runningn around. Would recommend or go back again
Susan from Tyne And Wear (30 April 2018)

Lovely spot . peaceful and relaxing . both site wardens were very helpful and extremely pleasant . the outdoor space is lovely and the hot tub a great bonus . it is kept spotless . . altogether a lovely break for our adult family party.
Gillian from Barnoldswick (20 April 2018)

We had great relaxing weekend as specially the hot tub.the staff could not do enough for us.lt was a lovely setting for the site and the people where very friendly .great weekend.
Linda from Durham (16 April 2018)

Peaceful area, cosy lodge. Lovely hot tub.
Lynn from Ingleby Barwick (13 April 2018)

The lodge was in a lovely setting, but the standard of furnishings aren't really up to scratch for the price we paid. Dining room chairs, all cushion padding gone, not really enough pans etc.. to cook properly, plus is wasn't that clean. We got pots and pans out of the cupboards to cook and had to start washing up. the biggest draw was the hot tub which was lovely and clean, but without that element I think we would have been dissapointed. Its not really autograph standard.
Marie (09 April 2018)

We spent 5 days here in april. Very relaxing holiday.the lodge was excellent and the hot tub made it more accommodating.beautifull views of the countryside and spotted lots of wild animals/birds just from our window.had a variety of weather conditions from sun to snow!! but it didn't spoil anything. Would definitely go back here.
Jonathan from Huddersfield (06 April 2018)

The lodge was beautiful & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was the icing on the cake & fab even in snow. Hosts were great, helpful and informative
Stacy from Halifax (06 April 2018)

Excellent location, the setting is beautiful and remote with a club house over the river and the local pub a five minute drive away. Perfect to escape the real world for a while.
Karl from Durham (26 March 2018)

Great holiday!
Louise (23 March 2018)

We had a wonderful break and the site staff are great. Lovely walk to the pub which sold lovely food with friendly staff. Hot tub made our weekend special. Would definitely recommend.
Jane from Gateshead (26 February 2018)

Great!
Fleur (21 February 2018)

Beautiful lodge and very clean and tidy. the only thing I would say is that there could have been a better frying pan and the masher for potatoes wasn’t very good but apart from that it was fabulous
Sara from Newcastle Upon Tyne (16 February 2018)

Very good
Customer 23 from Morpeth (15 January 2018)

Was an amazing break away after the rush of xmas, for me my husband and another couple, we have already booked again to go back. . lodge was immaculate. Everything you need is there . hot tub was amazing and we had a walk to the elks head in the snow. . . I highly recommend this place for a peaceful break
Laura from Hebburn (08 January 2018)

Fabulous
Karen (08 January 2018)

The place and position is fantastic, our only complaint was our (double) bed was the most uncomfortable hing we have ever slept on but when I messaged bob (the park manager) he told me that the day we left they replaced the mattress so hopefully when we go again we will get better sleep. I thought the £95 we paid for the pamper package was a bit over the top, we had a box of lindt chocolates and a bottle of champagne which at best would have cost £40 so I felt that was extortionate. the staff and lodge itself however were lovely.
Kevin (27 December 2017)

Very quiet park, just what we wanted. Lodge was spotless and very comfortable. Walked to nearby pub through woods and had a delicious lunch.
Amy from Leeds (22 December 2017)

We have been to this lodge on a number of occasions and always spotless and warm. Anything not correct we just inform the warden and it is delt with as soon as possible. . peace and quite with a hot tub to relax in.
Joseph from Sunderland (08 December 2017)

Lovely place very remove but we love that. Staff very nice and leave you to enjoy the peace.
Gary from Sunderland (01 December 2017)

We have been going to parmontley hall lodges for 6 yrs now. And we love every minute of it. The piece and quite, the wild life that greet you every morning. The beautiful surrounding. And last but not least the amazing staff.
Bridget from Northallerton (24 November 2017)

The lodges and location are idyllic. We have been going for 5 years now and are already booked up for next year. The only downside is there is no onsite shop in case you forget or run out of anything and it is 14 miles to the nearest. . also covers over the hot tubs that can be pulled over or pushed back would be a great addition as you could get use out of the hot tub in the rain if they were on
Danielle from The Only Downside Is There Is No Onsite Shop In Ca (20 November 2017)

Lovely and peaceful and relaxing will definitely be back
Keith (17 November 2017)

Amazingly relaxing place. Hot tub was lovely, loads of space between the 4 lodges. Lovey warm welcome. Lovely cosy and warm lodge and great wildlife in peaceful surroundings. Took everything we’d need and never left lodge for full weekend. Just a great place to relax and get away fronting everything, already booked for next year again!!
Michelle from Gateshead (13 November 2017)

This is the sixth time we have stayed at parmontely and would highly recommend it. All the lodges art beautiful but my favourite is peel lodge. Beautiful fixtures and all of high quality.
Deborah from Northumberland (13 November 2017)

Another amazing stay at the lodge. Owners so friendly and helpful and the surrounding area beautiful.
Jacqui from Hebburn (06 November 2017)

Peaceful and quiet. lots of wildlife around, great to sit and watch. staff were excellent.
Donald from Dunfermline (20 October 2017)

Enjoyable and relaxing 3 days, with excellent facilities.
Tom from Dunblane (16 October 2017)

An excellent place tucked away in the beautiful corner of northumberland. Ioved the peace, only sound to be heard was the stream and the pheasants. It is a remote location, if you are there just for a short break, be well stocked with essentials as the shops are a good drive away. Very high standard accommodation, well looked after and clean. Obviously we all loved the hot tub and stargazing while in the hot tub. Amazing! the site manager is very friendly, customer service is second to none. We had an amazing weekend and hope to come back sometime.
Ilona from Morpeth (09 October 2017)

Lovely weekend away for a hen do! the lodge was the perfect size and had been kept in a great condition! the only downside is on 1 of the days, the amount of cleaning product used to clean in the hot tub was very over powering and the bride to be had an allergic reaction! other than that though, 10/10 for everything else!
Michelle (02 October 2017)

The lodge was very comfortable and scenery and wildlife on doorstep very nice.
Kathy from Northampton (02 October 2017)

Lodge was situated in lovely surroundings but could have been cleaner - windows especially - hot tub was a lovely addition but why oh why can you not have basic things like salt and pepper, tin foil, cling film and maybe oil to start people off when they arrive - it would be so much easier for people to start cooking with food brought in. the warden was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.
Gillian from Newton Stewart (15 September 2017)

The scenery was lovely. It was very remote but closed roads meant any journey out was more difficult and longer. The weather was poor too which never helps a holiday in the countryside. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the l o cation and the rest it afforded us.
Jim from Leighton Buzzard, Beds (11 September 2017)

Lovely surroundings but nothing within walking distance,if you want a few beers & food out, we did walk through the woods to the pub it took us 60mins got a taxi back as it was getting dark and not safe to walk the only taxi we could get was from hexham costing £25. The lodge is nice but starting to show wear & tear really needs refurbishing. Nevertheless we were lucky with the weather and had a great time.
Rob from Cleveland (11 August 2017)

I was looking forward to a short break with my family , the lodge was exactly what I was expecting , the surrounding countryside lovely , there was plenty of wildlife , it was peaceful , and we had a great time ,the hot tub put the finishing touch to a great stay.
Jacqueline (28 July 2017)

All very good
Richard (28 July 2017)

Absolutely lovely place to relax and chill out.beautiful lodge and surroundings.canot wait to visit again.amazing
Lynsey from Durham (22 May 2017)

Great time as always . will be back :)
Ashley from Prudhoe (19 May 2017)

It's was a perfect stay, lodge was beautiful and clean and the surroundings were amazing! bob couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you and we will see you in the winter
Vikki from Darlington (08 May 2017)

A great, well equipped lodge, which is a great base to explore the northumberland countryside from. Bob was extremely helpful and informative, nothing was too much trouble. Lodges have great storage for outdoor walking gear too, even with an 11 month old we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and the wildlife that comes wandering past the lodges.
Kelly from Grantham (05 May 2017)

Perfect location for a relaxing break. Warm and cozy lodge with great hot tub. Site warden was extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
Jeff from Durham (17 April 2017)

A great holiday in a beautiful location. Very lucky with the weather for the time of year but the lodge compensated when it did rain. . would recommend to friends and would return in the future.
Andrew from Peterborough (10 April 2017)

We absolutely loved our break away, and would love to get another weekend booked in
Karen from Sacriston (27 March 2017)

What a fantastic few days we had! plus we saw sunshine and lots of snow. . the lodge itself is fantastic - really comfortable and warm - and in such a great location. We will hopefully be visiting again in the future.
Kelly from Essex (24 March 2017)

Absolutely wonderful staying. Hoping to come back every year.
Paul (06 March 2017)

Absolutely wonderful weekend!! we arrived late, however we were still greeted by a lovely smile. The lodge had everything. Bin bags, dishwasher tablets etc. It was just wonderful. We will certainly be back!!
Laura from Darlington (30 January 2017)

Perfect location to relax very clean would highly recommend
Nadia (16 January 2017)

Went to this lodge for a 30th birthday. We had an absolute fantastic time and would definitely go back. Bob who works there went above and beyond for us too! location is abit out of the way so make sure you pack plenty of food and drinks otherwise the shops are a good 30mins away. Besides this the break was everything we wanted!
Anna from Durham (13 January 2017)

Great lodge. Clean, tidy, warm and with beautiful surroundings. The welcoming from bob was fantastic.
Lawrence from Newcastle (09 January 2017)

Absolutely beautiful lodge. This is our second time staying here and we're booked to go again in january. We have stayed in 2 different lodges and both were absolutely beautiful. The lodge has everything you could possibly need. Immaculately clean and to a very high standard. Bob is fantastic and nothing is too much bother to him. Would definitely recommend this park.
Deborah from Ashington Northumberland (10 October 2016)

Location next to river helped make it a totally relaxing break. Helpfulness of the warden ensured everything went without a hitch . hot tub put the cherry on top.
Kevin from Lancaster (07 October 2016)

We stayed in peel lodge it was amazing . it had everything you would need. The setting the lodges are in is second to none, there in enclosed field away from the caravan park next to a river. The staff could not be more helpful& friendly explained how to use everything. The hot tub at night wow. We picked this place because it was remote but also near enough to go sightseeing. Hadrian's wall, hexham, carlisle, newcastle.
David from Bradford (03 October 2016)

We had a great holiday at parmontley hall lodges. Surroundings were beautiful, although there was nothing directly around the site. Nice and peaceful and well kept. Bob was very accommodating and helpful when we had any queries. Would definitely recommend and we would love to return. Plenty to do within easy reach of the site.
Sophie (30 September 2016)

We really enjoyed our holiday and would definitely go back.
Caroline from West Yorkshire (26 September 2016)

Fantastic cabin very clean and modern bob was so helpful and couldn't do enough one of the best places we have stayed and cabin was one of the best
Debra from Hull (16 September 2016)

It is the ideal location for anyone wanting a peaceful, restful and lazy holiday in lovely surroundings. the lodge we had was excellent and we were welcomed by bob who was brilliant.
Malcolm from Mold (12 September 2016)

The best time..peace and quiet beautifully clean accommodation friendly staff who went above and beyond. We needed peace, we needed a spacious lodge with a hot tub..we also needed wifi for three teenagers..we achieved it all in bucketloads
Carmel (12 August 2016)

Wow, such an incredible place to stay! lodge was exceptional and will be back again very soon. Thank you to bob and family for everything!
Karen from Manchester (29 July 2016)

Not much in the way of facilities but we knew this when booking, but this was made up by the location and quiet, nothing to be heard apart from the river, sheep, ducks and the oyster catchers.
Duncan from Leicestershire (25 July 2016)

"luxury lodge" was really disappointing, outside decking was worn & tired; patio furniture was cheap & tatty. given that the appeal of this site is to sit outdoors & enjoy your surroundings this did not live up to expectations. however our hosts on site were wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay comfortable.
Ann from Glasgow (18 July 2016)

Great location in a very peaceful spot with only 4 lodges on site, there is a caravan park over the river with a small clubhouse. Ideally located in the centre of the north pennines and less than an hour to either east or west coasts. Both bob and margaret were very welcoming and helpful on what and where to visit. My only gripe with the lodge (cupola) which by the way is the best located of the 4 next to the river was that it needs some maintenance as starting to look a little tired, eg some kitchen lights not working, blinds on windows not the best, no bbq as stated? patio furniture only a small round table with 2 standard chairs, marks/stains on lounge carpet and no television in master bedroom even though sockets are there. As this is listed as 'autograph' lodge I expected a higher quality of fixtures and fittings.
Gary from Grantham, Lincs (13 June 2016)

We loved the lodge but thought the outside could do with some maintenance. The table and chairs outside were dirty as was the decking and we didn't have a sun umbrella for the table. Bob was very helpful.
Jacques from Elloughton (10 June 2016)

Location was inaccessible to area other than by car.
Andrew (30 May 2016)

Brilliant 3 nights away peaceful beautiful surroundings hot tub was a bonus
Jamie from Sunderland (23 May 2016)

Best lodge we've been to and beautiful surrounding area
Cher from Newcastle (23 May 2016)

Absolutely first class, clean and very tidy. Wonderful surroundings; extremely helpful staff will definitely stay there again
Angela from Carlisle (13 May 2016)

We had an enjoyacle stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Pam from York (02 May 2016)

Small
Carole from Seaham, County Durham (25 April 2016)

Great place, bob was super helpful and sorted everything we needed. We were led to believe the elks head pub was 'on site' therefore you'd think it was within walking distance, this is far from the case so felt a little disappointed. There isn't a lot in the area but haltwhistle, (all be it scary drive away), allendale town (nice pub-the kings head) and hexham are only a short drive away. The carts bog pub is lovely and about 20mins drive away, again some scary hairpin bends in the roads. The lodge was lovely and clean and well equipped. There is a lodge built right next to peel lodge which would hinder privacy if occupied. The lodges are set in a massive field so can't quite understand why this one is smack bang next to it?
Carrie from York (28 March 2016)

Fantastic quiet location
Martin (21 March 2016)

Lovely and peaceful
Claire from Tollesbury (11 March 2016)

Lovely lodge in very nice and peaceful surroundings. Hot tub is great. Perfect place to relax.
Kayleigh from Stockton On Tees (07 March 2016)

We really really enjoyed our break here, and we have already recommended it to friends and we will definitely be returning.
Roisheen from Hartlepool (29 February 2016)

Lovely holiday, helpful staff, quiet and relaxing location.
Paul (15 February 2016)

Nice lodge, but very expensive for what was available, in a comparatively remote area of the country.
Peter (15 February 2016)

Had the best weekend with my hubby.daughter and son in law.son and daughter in law..accommodation amazing.area peaceful.hot tub fantastic.we all had the best time and my daughter in law now booked it for her and friends for her 30th birthday 10/10
Lesley from Gateshead (18 January 2016)

Total escape from the hustle and bustle of christmas in tranquil surroundings absolutely perfect in every way. just switched off and relaxed.
Linda from Sunderland (27 December 2015)

For a weekend in the countryside with a hot tub and no distractions perfect.
Joseph (21 December 2015)

Another wonderful stay, see you again soon
Beverley from Hartlepool (30 November 2015)

Such a great place to escape from your everyday life. Peaceful, tranquil and so relaxing. Perfect reset button on life. We had such a perfect time and can't wait to return in the near future.
James from Bolton (20 November 2015)

Been to these lodges several times now and they are superb, my only negative comment would be the recent positioning of a new lodge which is extremely close to peel lodge which will remove some of the privacy. As a result I had to move my reservation for 2016 at a cost of £31 to me (admin fee) which I think is shocking
Danielle from Consett (16 November 2015)

Love this place!!, beautiful surroundings, fabulous lodges and our bob always on hand to help with any problems, he always goes out of his way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, we will be back!
Mark from Consett Co Durham (16 November 2015)

Have stayed here four times now. Its just a beautiful place to relax and chill out. We love it.
Bridget from Northallerton (13 November 2015)

Wonderful, special to celebrate hubby's 65th birthday
Enola from Newcastle Upon Tyne (13 November 2015)

Superb lodge. Well maintained and very comfortable. Beautiful countryside and would recommend a 'get away from it all' stay here
Martin from Cheadle Hulme (30 October 2015)

Very spacious and comfortable accommodation in a quiet peaceful location. Hot tub was fantastic. The only downside, the water pressure was low so no power in the shower, on arrival there was about30 dead flies inside the living room and bathroom area ( plus an extra 15 once I had finished with the fly swatter). otherwise a perfect break.
Paul from Hull (30 October 2015)

Shame the on site pub was not open during our stay. We needed a designated driver. Everything else was great.
Sharon from Bradford (30 October 2015)

My friends and I went for a nice chilled break and loved our experience. We were greeted by a gentleman who showed us around and told us how everything worked. The lodge and hot tub were fairly roomy for the six of us and we all enjoyed our stay. if I had to be critical then I would say the shower in the en suite lacked power and the mattress was slightly uncomfortable. there were also some wasps in the decked area which we explained to the owner on our departure so that they could investigate. all in all a lovely stay and we would definitely come here again. Thank you.
Emily from Lincolnshire (26 October 2015)

A lovely place to stay, very peaceful. the lodge was very clean and well equipped and the owners extremely helpful and friendly. the hot tub was a great bonus. would definitely stay here again.m
Tracy (26 October 2015)

Couldn't fault the reception we got from bob! fantastic customer service. above and beyond anything that is expected. lovely and peaceful setting, fantastic hot tub, a great place to get away from it all! thanks again bob keep up the good work.
Antony from Bolton (23 October 2015)

This is the second time we have stayed at parmontley hall lodges. We have been happy on both occasions. if there are any problems they are soon sorted by bob the site manager, who is a hive of information of the local area and is always willing to help in a friendly manner. the lodges were in an ideal position for our outings and areas we wished to visit. The hot tub is wonderful at the end of a day of walking and even better if used on a clear night when the stars are out.
Linda from Crewe (17 October 2015)

The lodge premises were ok and the views at the moment are nice, but there was no welcome pack not even a tea bag or milk to make a drink after a long journey.
Gary from Sheffield (09 October 2015)

A beautiful location, peaceful. lodge was very clean and lovely and warm. great hot tub. Had a great stay there.
John from Had A Great Stay There. (09 October 2015)

Absolutely fantastic, we will be back again
Sandra from South Shields (05 October 2015)

Lovely lodge, spacious enough, spotlessly clean, hot tub excellent. we were greeted on arrival and made very welcome. Location is a little remote but if you want piece and quiet it's fine. Not really suitable for disabilities due to steps and location (but info. Doesn't say it is.) may be not the best place to take elderly mother - my mistake. But would return as a couple to relax. Could see that families with young children would enjoy the wild life (ducks & rabbits etc) and playing in the riverside. There is plenty of space and access to the caravan park facilities next door. Would have liked info on available walk in local area.
Gail from Rotherham (25 September 2015)

Loved every minuet of it!! defo going back x
Carly (21 September 2015)

Had a lovely holiday, fantastic walks in the allendales. shops in allendale for provisions and hexham town for gifts. hot tub an added bonus after a long walk. Bob, the warden was very welcoming to us and made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend these lodges, only 3 on the site at the moment, so very quiet and peaceful.
Barbara from Nottingham (11 September 2015)

Had a nice 4 nights in the lodge and every evening spent some time in the hot tub. . I took a telescope to look at the night sky salute weather not on my side until the last night when it was amazing. One problem I found was the light pollution from the local lights on site spoilt the darkness we called to see if they could turn them off and they did try but it could not be doneb if I go again then I will be taking black bags too cover them. Lodge very nice which they seem to be painting up as they are looking a bit worn. Beds weren't the best but we did sleep ok.
Andy from Scunthorpe (11 September 2015)

Very good and well maintained lodge. Everything you could want. Excellent staff. Very helpful. Beautiful surroundings
Christine from Lancashire (04 September 2015)

Excellent accommodation in a peaceful location.
Alan from Chester (17 August 2015)

We had a lovely time, the setting next to the river was great. The hot tub was fantastic, we were able to watch the shooting stars at night while listening to the river. . the sleeping accommodation was good, and the living room/kitchen/diner was comfortable and relaxing. We loved it here!
Mike from London (17 August 2015)

Very nice spot and well looked after
Peter (10 August 2015)

We all enjoyed our summer holiday at parmontley hall lodges . very peaceful and quiet . bob was very helpful . pleasant walk to the elk's head which only takes 25 minutes . train station not to far away . hot tub lovely
Karen from Clacton On Sea (10 August 2015)

Location and surrounding area are beautiful and quite.
Barry from Kettering (07 August 2015)

I will hopefully continue to return however compared to other lodges with the same facilities for example the lake district, parmontley is much more expensive therefore this will make me look around for more competitive rates. Also considering the arrival time is 4pm I think a 10am leave on your final day is far too early. Considering you are on holiday you want to enjoy your last day and not be up so early. There are only 3 lodges on site and the next guest is arriving at 4pm. This is incredibly disappointing.
Chantelle from Newcastle Upon Tyne (27 July 2015)

The lodge was superbly appointed with every facility included for a very pleasant holiday break. Bob, the site manager, was so helpful and friendly; nothing was a trouble to him. The location, albeit beautiful and tranquil was just a little isolated and one had to travel some distance to visit places of interest. Overall a very enjoyable summer break but a reliable sat nav is essential
Kenneth from Pickering North Yorkshire (24 July 2015)

It was in to remote a location ,with nothing in walking distance for entertainment and nothing on site for either entertainment or a shop for simple provisions .
James from Bonnyrigg Midlothian (10 July 2015)

We had a fantastic girly weekend. The staff were lovely and the log cabin was gorgeous. We would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a chilled holiday. There is a little shop in the village that is about 10 mins away if you drive. We had forgotten milk so had to venture out.
Cheryl from Dewsbury (06 July 2015)

This is a fantastic set up, the lodges have everything you need and bob, margaret and jimmy are there if you need them. We always call into the club house and have a few drinks with the locals. They've got a lovely little community up there who are great company. I just hope they don't build too many lodges as this would ruin the whole spirit of this wonderful place.
Karen (22 June 2015)

Is showing signs of being dated. First thing you find when you walk in the gate is the catch is hanging off, 5 seconds to put a screw in this, shower heads in both rooms need urgent attention, no bbq as stated, you have to ask, living room door does not shut, overall needs some tlc
David from Ely (05 June 2015)

Set in beautiful peace and quiet of the countryside. If you just need a complete rest it is ideal
Amanda from Yorkshire (08 May 2015)

We recently stayed at partmontley lodges for four nights. The site is beautiful, just 3 lodges at present we stayed in the cupola it is beautiful and very peaceful. The couple who look after the site are lovely. The lodge is like a tardis and you have everything you need and the hot tub is fab after a day out! nearby is hexham which is a lovely town. The elks head pub a short drive away serves good food. We managed to see the bottom half of the beautiful northumbrian coast from tynemouth to amble and to alnwick. hadrian's wall is nearby too and some nice walks. If you want a peaceful retreat this is the place. You need a car and some basic food supplies to get you started. But enough shops and supermarkets in hexham and nice coffee shops.

This was our 3rd visit to parmontley hall. the location is just fabulous, although a car is definately needed. Bobby, margaret, tommy and all the rest are a great bunch of people and nothing is too much trouble for them. even though a bit pricey we're booked to go back in november, absolutely love this place and the people.

The hot tub was great - lovely and warm and clean - plenty big enough for four with room spare. the lodge was the best we have stayed in. and impressively warm. so much space, privacy and peace and quiet. even provided dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher!! didn't realise there would be towels provided either. want to come back next year! it is a bit of a drive to hexham from the lodge, but we liked that and planned ahead, dropping into hexham on the way home for food. hexham abbey was a wonderful afternoon out and really took us by surprise. the staff there were brilliant too and made the visit even better. we have never seen so many pheasants and rabbits - counted over 70 pheasants within about 2 miles of the lodge when driving out one day.

This was the 2nd time we have stayed at partmontley hall lodges and we have already booked to stay again in august 2015. . over the years we have stayed at numerous lodges throughout the uk and this is the only 1 that we have wanted to come back to and stay again. . everything about the lodge and it's location is fantastic.

The lodge was just as we expected - clean, comfortable and in beautiful surroundings. There aren't many on-site facilities but there is so much in the area that we didn't feel we missed out.

Had a fab break at the lodge, fab location and had a chilled out weekend. Lodge was decorated fab and had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub and would go back, owners were more than helpful and happy to help if needed . . the only downside was no nearby shops for a paper on a morning or a few bits of shopping would of had to drive to nearest town. Think the caravan site next door to lodges would do well at selling morning papers, eggs and milk etc . . apart from that was fab and hoping to return at some point

A beautiful tranquil location and lodge. We had a wonderful relaxing break. We had planned some nice walks from local villages and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub when we got back. We never ate at any of the local pubs as we had planned to stay and eat at the lodge - and I was very impressed with the provision of utensils and kitchen facilities - outstanding. This was a wonderful self catering break and great value for money.

Lovely place, need a car as there is very little around the area without driving. Nice staff who were very helpful. Was a good price for what we paid but wouldn't pay more due to the location.
