Great holiday very relaxing . staff helpful and friendly. Bar - restaurant good value for money
Simon from Havant (08 December 2017)

Outstanding
Barry from Skegness (04 December 2017)

Lovely warm lodge...amazing hot tub. Far enough out of the way to be quiet and relaxing but near enough to many places to have some enjoyable days out too. Would highly recommend st. Ives.
Julie from Ipswich (01 December 2017)

Most enjoyable stay, kitchen area could have done with more illumination in the area of the sink (lodge 4), staff were brilliant.
Rod from Bransgore, Dorset (01 December 2017)

We had a lovely relaxing time in one of the lodges, they were well equipped and we would definitely return.
Shaun from Tamworth (20 November 2017)

We had a fantastic weekend! the lodge was wonderful, clean, modern and comfortable, we booked specifically because of the hot tub and we weren't disappointed. there's a great new clubhouse, drinks and food really well priced, a driving range and a supermarket 1 mile away! . . we went with the intention of having a weekend of doing absolutely nothing, and that's exactly what we did, never have we done so little for so long for so little£
Alex from Kent (13 November 2017)

A lovely relaxing break ! the lodge was immaculate, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, only criticism was the bed was a bit too soft and there was no cafetière. There was a problem with the hot water that was dealt with very quickly. The hot tub made the stay very relaxing! would definitely go back again!
Benjamin from Canterbury (03 November 2017)

Very nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful would recommend this to anyone
Antony from Lowestoft (03 November 2017)

Excellent accommodation, quiet surroundings. highly recommended.
Samantha from Essex (30 October 2017)

Friendly staff, quiet location. Just wanted to relax and our cabin was set out on it's own with it's own hot tub with a great view. Didn't use facilities around the location just the cabin itself. Would definitely recommend for a quiet break with your other half. We will be going back again
Stephanie from Bedfordshire (30 October 2017)

A lovely quiet place for a romantic getaway.
Melissa from Sheffield (27 October 2017)

Perfect location, very relaxing which is just what we needed
Dexter from Erith (20 October 2017)

We had a v enjoyable weekend break
Graeme from Warwick (16 October 2017)

Brilliant - the lodge was fantastic, the hot tub was amazing (so much so that I would love one for home now !!), and the setting was really good. staff were superb - really friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times - would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!!

Such a nice lodge! very nice small site, banging
Ben (06 October 2017)

Great cabin over looking the golfing range very peaceful loved it
Mark from Worthing (29 September 2017)

Lovely accommodation, very comfortable and well equipped. Nice relaxing spot, but well placed for exploring the local area
Trevor from Kingswinford (29 September 2017)

Great
Martin from Frinton On Sea (25 September 2017)

Ideal setting, peaceful lovely surroundings and close to ramsey. Lodge very clean and tidy with all the things you'll need for your stay and hot tub was a lovely extra, one minus no mirror in bedroom
Adam from Bedford (25 September 2017)

Pro. Lovely lodge in quiet location. . con. We like to self cater but there were 2 pots, 2 frying pan, nothing to make coffee, no bottle opener etc. The kitchen needs more equipment. The lodge also gets very warm and there are few windows. There was a fan and we needed this. I feel the cold but the lodge was super warm!
Elaine (22 September 2017)

A nice lodge, ideal for a quick relaxing getaway, not too much to do around the immediate area unless you enjoy golfing.
Joshim from London (18 September 2017)

Had a very lovely and relaxing stay here. Would definitely come back
Sarah from Bury St Edmunds (15 September 2017)

The lodge was very nice and clean. Hot tub was great but not as private as most other parks as you could be seen by adjacent lodges and code versa. Very peaceful holiday. Would stay there again
Raymond from Sunderland (15 September 2017)

Very nice holiday, wonderful surroundings. Very surprised no shaver point and sliding bedroom exterior door severely damaged. Very clean and comfortable,. . thank you
Albert from Shardlow Derbyshire (08 September 2017)

Overall we were really pleased and enjoyed the week at old nene. Couldn't fault value for money. . only negatives were: wet towels in the bathroom when we arrived, no mattress protector (and you know what people do on holiday) and lastly the mattress was shot to bits and very uncomfortable with springs digging into you.
Paul from Witham (08 September 2017)

We had a lovely weekend stay here the lodge was excellent had everything you could possibly need great views out to the countryside and it was very quiet and peaceful the staff were very helpful and friendly we would definitely consider staying again
Janet from Redditch (04 September 2017)

We needed somewhere to stay to attend a course in peterborough. Preferring self-catering to a hotel stay came across this which was just perfect. Spacious and comfortable. All the facilities you need incl wifi and a lovely hot tub to relax in. Just perfect.
Alexandra from Stelling Minnis (04 September 2017)

Very nice . could do with a little more privacy from the other lodges but overall very nice
Katie from Evesham (04 September 2017)

We had a lovely relaxing break here. We stayed in the woodwalton which looks out onto the driving range. Lodge was very well equipped and nice and comfortable. The only slight negative was the squeaky uncomfortable bed. The hot tub was brilliant and we made good use of it.
Jenny from Notts (01 September 2017)

Excellent lodge. Spotlessly clean. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Comes highly recommended
Bev from Rotherham (25 August 2017)

Enjoyable stay. Crockery could have been clean needed to wash everything before using.
Karen from Huddersfield (25 August 2017)

Lodges could have been cleaner. There is a problem wìth flies
Anita (25 August 2017)

Lovely lodge peaceful location, beautiful countryside. Perfect if you want to do nothing and just relax. Very few amenities and food places in the area.
Chris from Perfect If You Want To Do Nothing And Just Relax. (18 August 2017)

Very relaxing & quite location loved every minute
Mark from Norfolk (11 August 2017)

Excellent stay would definitely come again.
Wendy (11 August 2017)

Lovely quiet spot for a relaxing weekend
Ashley from Bournemouth (07 August 2017)

Very relaxing break
Graeme from Hartlepool (07 August 2017)

Lovely accommodation on a beautiful golf club, we had a very quiet and restful holiday. . the club has very helpful and friendly staff. my husband played the course nearly every day we were there and also found the members very friendly and welcoming. . we ate at the golf club on several occasions and the food was very good - high quality meat and produce always cooked fresh. . we booked the holiday last minute and if I am honest didn't do enough research into places to see and now realise we missed out on several good trips out, but I feel this was more our own fault.
Gillian from Saddleworth, Oldham (04 August 2017)

Quiet and relaxing.. would stay again.
Trudy from Surrey (04 August 2017)

The lodge and hot tub was lovely and the staff were very welcoming. Will be booking to go back again very soon
Marie from Essex (31 July 2017)

Exceeded expectations.
Neil from Curzon (31 July 2017)

Great holiday area great will do again.
David from Liverpool (24 July 2017)

This is the second time we have stayed with our toddler. The lodges are fantastic and the location is beautiful. The only negative point for the location is that it is not possibly to go for a walk with a buggy. However, this has not stopped us returning and using it as a luxurious base camp when visiting family in the area. The only improvement to the lodge would be for the decking area to be better cleaned. The interior was spotless.
Debora from Bolton (21 July 2017)

We liked the lodge and the surroundings, but we were very disappointed with the staff. At the day we arrived the weather was extremely hot and there was one fan in the lodge. The lady who showed us around told us she would get another fan the following morning. Nothing happened the following day or the day after. So I went back to the reception and asked them for an additional fan as we were told she could have it. They reassured an additional fan was going to be delivered that afternoon. The whole week passed and we had to share one fan between the three of us in a very hot weather. we didn't like the way we were treated by the staff and wouldn't like to go back to the same place again, although the lodge was very nice and clean and we all liked the area.
Vania (14 July 2017)

Perfect retreat loved it
Tracy from Darwen Lancs (10 July 2017)

Very nice lodge, small things could do with more thought, kitchen equi0ment etc. Nice, quiet location but close to small town (ramsey) for essential things and takeaways etc
James from Scunthorpe (10 July 2017)

We had a great stay, the lodge and hot tub were lovely and the staff at the golf club were amazing. They even brought food over to the lodge that we had ordered to save us going back to collect with 2 small children! 10/10
Kelly from Kent (07 July 2017)

It was a shame the clubhouse didn't open in the evening for food. The hot tub was overlooked by other people's verandas
Sarah from Woodham (07 July 2017)

Very friendly staff and surroundings, food great in clubhouse and golf course quite challenging. Overall we had a good relaxing time at the old nene
Kevin from Llandudno (30 June 2017)

We loved our stay at the wistow. The lodge is modern, clean and cosy. The surroundings and the hot tub were real added luxuries too. We would stay here again and have happily recommended it to our friends and family.
Deina from Lincoln (30 June 2017)

Whilst the lodge was very comfortable and difficult to fault, the trip was let down by the quality of the meal my wife had at the country club which was not anywhere near the standard expected. We chose to have a meal there to avoid the necessity of driving on what was our wedding anniversary and the main reason for our stay. The whole day was spoilt by the quality - or lack of - my wife's meal which was only a cottage pie but one we had to wait for nearly 1 hour to receive and was of extremely poor quality.
Sheila from Norwich (30 June 2017)

Enjoyed our stay here, there were a few issues with doors, the bedroom french door came out as the runner was bust and although someone came and looked could replace part while we were there. Generally it was good though
Stephen from Bristol (26 June 2017)

Great settings, great lodge and helpful staff. Hot tub was a bonus. Had a well relaxed break
Karen from Rochdale (23 June 2017)

Lovely weekend away, during the summer another fan would be practical as it got very hot in the lodge. A manual for the hottub would also be benificial as the hot tub flashed codes and we wasn't sure what they ment.
Jack from Essex (19 June 2017)

Fabulous quiet location. Loved the hot tub and lodge was beautiful.
Tracy from New Milton (16 June 2017)

Lodge absolutely fine, but not much privacy for hot tub and sitting out. Stayed here to meet friends but as not golfers we did not make use of those facilities. Enjoyed quiet relaxing stay.
Linda (12 June 2017)

A wonderful weekend. The picture was a bit misleading as it, with the text, implied that the lodge was on the golf course. The lodge was with 6 others behind the club house so not as remote as first believed. However it was wonderfully decked out, had ever thing we needed and ours was the last in the row, furthest away from the club house, so had the least passing people. . on the day we arrived we ate in the club house. The staff were lovely, the food came out fast and was hot and well cooked. . it was a glorious weekend weather wise and it was a shame that bbq's are not allowed but with all the wood we understood the reasons why. . the hot tub was clean and warm and appeared well maintained with automatic running programs and a chlorine block. . overall it was well priced, well maintained and for a weekend away very recommendable.
Jen from Norwich (05 June 2017)

We got a very good deal on this property, half the price of the one advertised which made it vfm for us. It was a bit pricey otherwise.
Dawn from Leeds (02 June 2017)

Had a lovely relaxing long weekend with my partner. The location was so peaceful and the lodge was really good.
Claire from Kings Lynn (29 May 2017)

Excellent accommodation and scenery, food and service great would defiantly recommend
Colin from Ashford Kent (26 May 2017)

Lovely place, clean and tidy. Hottub was not exactly private as could be seen from one of the other lodges, but that didn't spoil our break. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Neil from Preston (26 May 2017)

We had a great time at old nene golf and country club
Vincenzo from Holland (26 May 2017)

We had a very comfortable lodge with a hot tub.bonus. We had a couple of issues which we reported to the manager, these didn't spoil our stay. Location was very peaceful overlooking the small lake. Woken early though with the tractor cutting the greens. . club house was a blessing which we used on 3 of our 4 nights there. We did struggled to find any where decent to eat in the immediate area so having a restaurant in the club house selling decent reasonably priced food saved the day. We did have to travel to visit cambridge and ely but it was worth it, beautiful cities. Lovely walks from the golf club along the fens/ 40 foot drain as it's known or into the village.
Joanne from Sowerby Bridge (19 May 2017)

Modern, spacious, clean and well equipped lodge situated on the golf course. the bed was very squeaky! quiet location with the exception of the 0730am cutting of the grass! the modern club house serves reasonably priced burgers, chilli, pies and similar is adjacent to the lodges with a beautiful outlook onto the fairway. the fen roads are somewhat undulating and ramsay is not very picturesque however there was more to see at huntingdon. Ramsay is served by a large tesco incl. Service station.
Clare (19 May 2017)

We have been here twice now & enjoy the tranquillity & friendliness of the staff and member golfers.the food in the new clubhouse was excellent in quality & value although the opening times when food was available were a bit sporadic. . the accommodation was well appointed with sufficient equipment. The furniture & bedding were clean & fresh as was the whole cabin.the nearby town of ramsey affords ample eateries for all tastes & a tesco store. We will be back again.
Stewart from Bletchley (19 May 2017)

Needs more privacy screening round hot tubs. Parking next to lodges would have preferable. If altering opening times of clubhouse direct info to lodge residents rather than a sign on the bar. otherwise a lovely secluded location for a chilled out week away
Jacqui from Durham (19 May 2017)

Lovely clean lodge very useful as a base for exploring the area. some nice walks around the course. . very helpful staff. . accommodation very comfortable.
Una (15 May 2017)

The tastefully decorated lodge was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable with lovely cosy bedding. A full length wardrobe or some hooks in the corridor next to the bathroom would be handy for dresses. The hot tub was efficient with handy hooks for robes next to it. A few more privicy pannels would be good. The grounds were beautiful with lots of wildlife and bird song. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The clubhouse is new and tastefully decorated but would benefit from. A cosy sofa area. In all a fabulous place to stay for a long weekend or week. We definitely want to come again.
Stewart from East Yorkshire (24 April 2017)

We used this as a base to explore north cambridgeshire so would not stay here again - too many other places in the uk to explore - but the accommodation was excellent and the locality was beautiful - only spoiled by having to share it with some golfers!
Garry from Kingswinford (21 April 2017)

Stayed with my husband and 15 month old son. Absolutely loved it. Lodge was clean, modern, comfortable and had everything you needed. Surrounding grounds were lovely and peaceful. . did not eat in the club house but it looked a good menu, the club house was nice and the staff friendly. Lovely terrace for sitting out in the sun. . great for son as he's happy toddling around and counting stones but there isn't anything for older children. . town of ramsey is minutes away in the car and has a supermarket, small shops, a couple of pubs and a few cafes. There is no pavement on the road to the town which meant we didn't walk it, which I would have liked to do.
Debora from Bolton (21 April 2017)

Lovely lodge, very clean and well maintained. Lovely view from the hottub over looking the lake and golf course, this can make you feel a little exposed in the day. The clubhouse serves great food and was lovely to sit and have a coffee or early evening drink. The staff around the resort were friendly and helpful, prticularly a young lad who worked around the grounds who couldn't do enough for you and was really friendly and smiley. We would love to stay again, the only thing that disappointed us was that there wasn't much to do in the local area and we like to get out. Great for romantic trip, or couple of days away.
Simone from Rickmansworth (21 April 2017)

Facilities were certainly not luxury. Kitchen is basic, hardly any equipment.
Helen from Turriff (14 April 2017)

Wouldn't stay here again. When we arrived the keys were left in our unlocked lodge because the manager had left early. There was very limited equipment in the kitchen, including no oven gloves. And the back door from our room to the outside was faulty and did not always lock.
Charlotte (20 March 2017)

The lodges were all lovely, we had one lodge (dog-friendly) for 1 week and 2 other lodges for split weeks. Nice little touches eg mini soaps, gels and spare loo rolls. Pretty surroundings and family loved the hot-tub. we also had a meal at the clubhouse restaurant which was very nice. Check their times for evening meal, we booked for 6 pm. Fridge was under-counter and therefore small. Luckily (february) we could put the excess food outside on the verandah in picnic bags so no problem. We used the dvd player so its a good idea to bring along the dvd's you haven't managed to watch at home yet! location-wise its just outside the village of ramsay in cambs, you will need your car for days out as everything seemed a longish drive away. Forward planning for trips/days out will benefit your holiday. We probably wouldn't go again unless the location warranted it. We all had a lovely week's stay though and the summer season i'm sure will make the golf course, fishing lake (right by the clubhouse) look beautiful.
Lorraine from Greater Manchester (13 February 2017)

I took my 3 children for a relaxing break, it was perfect and we loved the hot tub! will definitely come back, couldn't fault anything . thank you
Claire from March (13 February 2017)

Excellent lodges with hot tubs, staff only to delighted to help with any question. Highly recommended and we can't wait to return.
John from Eastbourne (05 February 2017)

Lovely lodge for a relaxing break only bad points are there was not enough hot water. Really wanted a bath in that lovely big tub but the water trickled out & was cold after the bath was filled a couple of inches we only just managed to have a shower each before the hot water ran out & there was not much in the area to do. Perfect if you want to stay in the lodge the whole time but not if you want to go out for a nice meal and a few drinks.
Cheryl from Welwyn Garden City (30 January 2017)

Really lovely lodge, lovely scenery and great hot tub. Quite expensive but great for a one off. Will definitely return.
Damian from Chelmsford (23 January 2017)

Fabulous relaxing break. Great hot tub
Heather from Flitwick (09 January 2017)

Lovely clean warm lodge comfortable beds
Helen (30 December 2016)

Perfect cosy stay in the country. The lodge was fabulous and perfect for a group of 4, staff were wonderful and so friendly and helpful, already booked my next stay!
Naomi (02 October 2016)

Had a lovely weekend break to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The lodge was very nice, extremely clean and well kept and had everything we needed for a short break. The hot tub was fab, although we went in on friday evening and both felt there were too many chemicals. My eyes watered constantly and my husband had itchy skin but we tried again on saturday morning and it had improved. . when we arrived at around 5pm on friday, we parked in the car park but had no idea where to go as there were no signs for an entrance or reception. We wandered into the clubhouse and were told at the bar that it was the right place. The staff were helpful but we were told that there was no chef in that evening, therefore no evening meals. Luckily we had been to tesco just down the road and got supplies for the lodge, but it would have been frustrating if we hadn't. The lodges are very close together and although we overlooked the golf course, it didn't feel as secluded as we'd hoped. Also, the two lodges either side of ours had hot tubs and only a bit of trellis fencing, which made me feel self conscious about climbing in and out in a swimsuit. Providing robes for use in the cabin may have helped. . there is very little to do in the area. We had hoped to walk somewhere but aside from a river walk at the other end of the golf course, there was nowhere to go. . inside the only improvement we thought could be made was to the furniture. There was one small sofa for both of us and it could have done with another sofa, armchair or even a foot rest to make it a little more cosy. . I would perhaps go back to this lodge, but i'd probably shop around to see if there are any other lodges at the same price that offer walking nearby or some other activities.
Jo from Hertfordshire (26 September 2016)

We have a overly stay, beautiful lodge within a beautiful area was really impressed and will be back xxx
Jason from Sleaford (26 September 2016)

Very friendly place to be,very spacious lodge, would highly recommend, ken
Ken from Sudbury (23 September 2016)

Loved this place the lodges are very comfortable love the covered veranda with comfortable seating area. Staff are lovely very welcoming and helpful.
Patricia from Hornsea (23 September 2016)

Wonderful large modern lodge with excellent facilities in a lovely setting. One small negative. There was no food as advertised which was disappointing after travelling a very long way. Wonderful new clubhouse. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Adam from Conwy (02 September 2016)

Spent a week in one of the lodges with a hot tub. Lodge was nice and clean, hot tub was lovely. Quite close to other lodges but still a good degree of privacy. The lodge we stayed in looked out over the golf course - wonderful view. Not much to do on site apart from golf - we went on the driving range a couple of times, which was great fun, but most of the time we just relaxed in the lodge and hot tub. the village of ramsey is a 5 minute drive away, with takeaways and grocery shops. There's a co-op store and a tesco nearby, both with petrol stations. Staff were super helpful. If you're looking for a chilled out holiday in beautiful surroundings - this is the place to be!
Customer 89 from Northamptonshire (02 September 2016)

We enjoyed our stay with my family at one of your lodges. My only complaints were that our accommodation wasn't ready on time and were waiting for it to be cleaned. We got in for about 4:45. My other issue that the checking in is done at the bar and had a wait behind people ordering drinks. Other than these issues the accommodation was well maintained with pleasant surroundings
Brett (02 September 2016)

Fantastic facilities. Relaxing location
Jayne (29 August 2016)

We had a lovely relaxing 3 night stay in one of these beautiful lodges. Perfect setting for a tranquil break.
Leza (29 August 2016)

The holiday lodge was lovely and very comfortable. it was a shame the clubhouse was not serving food yet.
Sally from Welwyn Garden City (12 August 2016)

Went into the club house to get something to eat, but the chef had finished for the night, was told it closed at eight or nine ,we went in at 6 30 and the chef had finished then, had to go and find somewhere else for a meal in town
Kim from Wigan (29 July 2016)

Lovely and peaceful getaway. Good cabin spacious. Needs more outside furniture and lounge furniture such as coffee table or extra sofa but otherwise very happy.
Karen (13 June 2016)

We were not golf players but we just needed a rest which we got on holiday it was so peaceful.
Carol (13 June 2016)

Facilities arent finished yet.
Michael (10 June 2016)

A very friendly ,peaceful location ,perfect for those with dogs. Main clubhouse was unfinished at the time of our visit but this as negated by helpful informative staff & nearby facilities in nearby ramsey which hosts a wide array of eateries & 2 supermarkets. Lodges were of a high standard, well equipped & furnished.
