We enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a perfect getaway. Only problem we encountered was trying to get there as our sat nav didn't recognise the address and we should have allowed plenty of time for our journey. . . fortunately in the end the owner of the lodge went out of his way and came to our rescue.

Such a wonderful relaxing place. A friendly welcome and a quick tour of the lodge and hot tub and we were settled in for the week! it was so peaceful. Facilities were great all that we could need for our break. A jammed packed information folder was available to read with menus/pub reviews/days out/local information etc. not far to walk to diss 15/20 minutes or a couple of minutes drive where you can find restaurants/pubs/supermarkets/takeaways. the hub tub was amazing and we did not want to leave such a peaceful place. The kids loved the addition on the wifi because they just can not do with out! really want to return soon :-)

Tracy from Cambridge (03 July 2017)

A beautiful lodge which is situated in a peaceful and tranquil setting, not overlooked and the owners have total respect for your privacy. The lodge itself accommodates all your needs for a relaxing break, very comfortable and the additional decking outside with hot tub makes it the perfect place for a break. The only addition I would have would maybe a couple of sun loungers to relax on after the hot tub or for the beautiful sunny days.
John from Clacton On Sea (30 June 2017)

Dianne from Lowestoft (15 May 2017)

Good value for money and a lovely place to stay
Laura (12 May 2017)

Lovely place little bit too dark at night as there wasn't any lighting outside apart from a door light. . surrounding we're great however some plates in the cupboards were dirty. Overall though a beautiful place!
Ethan from Pencoed (06 May 2017)

We had an absolutely lovely week away in kingfisher lodge. We have two small children and the lodge was fairly child friendly, good quality high chair and cot. We found the mattresses lovely and comfortable (which makes a change). also plenty of space for children to run around. Well kitted out kitchen and amazing to have fresh farm produce steaks and eggs - yum! perfect location for us, felt like the middle of nowhere but only 5 mins in the car to the supermarkets and diss. Although there are 3 lodges it's been done well so they feel private. Friendly owners. No doubt we will be booking a future visit soon.
Stuart from Ely, Cambridge (06 May 2017)

Had a beautiful relaxing break, the lodge was very clean, spacious and in beautiful farm land with the bonus of getting fresh eggs, juice from the farm. Loved every minute

This is the place to go for a peaceful country break. a beautiful setting that is quiet and relaxing, watching wildlife and taking country walks but just a 5 minute drive to diss. The lodges are well equipped, warm and comfortable and have everything required for a self catering break. . the owners are so helpful and friendly and always on hand should you need any help or advice. A perfect escape!

We had a wonderful christmas in kingfisher lodge. both the kids and us loved the hot tub and it was just so lovely and peaceful!
Tracey from Soham (27 December 2016)

We stayed at the adapted lodge as we were all disabled. There was lots of room to get around in the lodge and everything was very comfortable. . one thing that may help some people with mobility problems is that the seating in the main room is quite low, but the beds are of a good height,so if you have hip or knee problems you may need to take extra cushions. . we were greeted by the owner who told us everything we needed to know and assured us that someone was on hand if we needed any help (we didn't). highly recommended. Would definitely go again.
Jackie from Witham (01 October 2016)

Wonderful lodge, lovely location and lovely people. The option to purchase meat and hire bbq's was a great idea too!
Richard (04 July 2016)

Lovely lodge, very peaceful, very helpful and friendly owners...if I am being really, really picky, maybe lodge would benefit from maybe small tables in the bedrooms and a shelf in the bathrooms, but these don't detract from the very comfy, cosy clean lodge. Would definitely return, and hopefully the weather will be kinder next time.

Alison from Essex (27 December 2015)

Lovely presents christmas break at the lodge! the lodge was very spacious and surprisingly large, decorated and furnished to a very high standard..a home away from home. So lovely to only have two other lodges on the farm as you get a real peaceful feeling, not like some. Holiday parks that pack you all in to the same size piece of land. The farm itself is fantastic, lots to see from ducks to horses and cows. The owners were so accommodating, showing us round the farm to meet the animals which our 1 year old loved. The area itself is a lovely village location with an aldi and a morrisons 2 minutes away in the car. We will definitley be staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lodge, the hot tub is a lovely touch and we enjoyed no time frames and enjoying life at a leisurely pace! the hot tub was a perfect touch in doing this! the value for money was brilliant, we were in a slice of heaven for 5 days. The only things we would mention are the lack of wifi and the showers could be a bit more powerful. We will definitely be going back and taking friends with us!

A dishwasher and the wi fi will be important
Romuald from Lens (France) (24 October 2014)

If you're looking for a nice peaceful break then this ticks the box. Located on a quiet farm on the outskirts of diss. Site owners are really nice and helpful, they even provided complimentary biscuits and fresh milk on day 1. If you want to keep yourself to yourself then they will stay out your hair. It's up to you. If you're looking to explore and venture off the site then diss is the nearest town, albeit quite a small one. Not really one for the party goers if this is your thing!
