A very quiet peaceful place for a relaxing holiday.the owners are very friendly and welcoming.we found the location very good as we could travel to places in cornwall but also devon too.there is a pub serving food very close by,although we didnt use it
Charles from St Helens (17 September 2016)

Disappointed
Fahad from Manchester (17 September 2016)

The main double bed is only a 3/4 double and very uncomfortable. The hot water is hit and miss, especially the shower. . the shower head does not stay up so you have to hold it. Which is not practical.
Thomas from Nottingham (10 September 2016)

Great place to stay - swimming pool, tennis court, badmington and table tennis all a bonus. quiet park but the amenities are great. perhaps would be good to up-date the pool furniture and the tennis rackets etc but overall really lovely site. also would help to have more information in the launderette regarding the cost of the washing machines or install washing machines with a set price. lodge was spacious and extremely clean as well as the surrounding area. would certainly recommend to friends and family.
Lindsay (29 August 2016)

Lovely relaxing holiday!
Gareth from Rhyl (13 August 2016)

We had a fab weeks stay in august. notter mill is a great base for exploring cornwall. the staff were extremely helpful and attentive where necessary. the pool and play area are fantastic and the equipment which is provided is great. the information leaflets that are available are great and we managed to save quote a bit on days out with the discount pack. we have already booked to go back next to year. highly recommend notter mill.
Claire from Trowbridge (13 August 2016)

Fantastic location for peace and quiet. Wifi and phone signal awful but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Paul from Kent (30 July 2016)

The cabin was good and we have now seen what we wanted to see in the area. The only issues we had was the pub, just before you got to notter hill, but notter hill itself was good
Theresa from Horley (23 July 2016)

The holiday is one that I would recommend. The lodge was clean and well kept. We were in walking distance of a pub that served good food. The hot tub was a bonus. it is somewhere that we would go back too.
Stephen from Birmingham (09 July 2016)

Great place to stay wonderful facilities and staff
Jeffrey (18 June 2016)

Fantastic weekend away. Cottage was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. However, with 4 teenagers in tow it was hard to get them out so I could use it. The weather was good and we used the pool, which again was lovely and clean and a bit of a sun trap. The play area also had lots to offer. Volley ball, tennis and a huge grass area to run around and a space for little ones as well. Conservation of the natural surrounding area makes for a nice walk. Pub very close and serves very good food. I could go on, but the welcome pack gives so much information on what to see and do in the area. The only problem, was having to leave.
Patsy from Gloucester (30 May 2016)

This small country park is great.very clean and owners were very friendly. Ideally placed for visiting all of devon and cornwall. The lodge was brilliant and we all had a wonderful break
Barbara (13 May 2016)

Wonderful holiday it was such a good price for 3 nights. The cottages have all the facilities you need including the bbq and a hot tub. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming. £10 deposit is required to enter the holiday park however you get this back at the end. There is a lovely pub up the road be careful walking back at night there are no street lights you could get lost I nearly did. Wifi connection wasn't that good and also pool was open till end of may. Each cottage has its own drive for cars which is convenient for unloading etc. All localities were in driving distance.
Mary-Philippa from Manchester (07 May 2016)

A lovely quiet hideaway. the houses are charming, warm, spacious, well appointed and nicely separated for a holiday park so you don't feel on top of your neighbors. a nice pub is just a few minutes walk down a private road. next time i'll take the dog. my only suggestion is that they use more attractive lighting and get away from ceiling lights that always make rooms ugly.
Roger from Hurstpierpoint, Sussex (05 May 2016)

Lovely cottage well laid out in picturesque setting thoroughly enjoyed our stay we have been several times before and will return.
Gerard from Cambridge (01 November 2015)

Perfect for a short stay and also ideal for a longer stay. Ideal location and well appointed chalet with excellent furnishings. We will return.
Dominic from West Moors (21 September 2015)

We had a lovely relaxing holiday, perfect location for access to all of cornwall's attractions and there is even enough to do at the park to stay 'in' for the day!
Natasha from Thetford (12 September 2015)

Very pleasant owners, very peaceful surrounding
Michael from Blackburn (05 September 2015)

Really spacious & very clean accommodation with a great friendly & homely touch from the owners. Nice & quiet location with easy access to main routes & picture postcard locations in cornwall
Richard from Trowbridge, Wilts (31 August 2015)

The location was great, the site is green and has a lovely pool and playground.
Emma from Bognor Regis (22 August 2015)

Notter mill is a lovely and peaceful holiday park. The cottages are spacious and well equipped. There is a tennis court, playground, table tennis table and a playing field, as well, of course, as a pool. The pool is not one for serious swimmers: it's more of a play pool and not deep at any part. Still, it was good to have on site and is used whenever the weather was decent.
Paul from Cheshire (15 August 2015)

Hi sorry for late review, I enjoyed my visit to notter mill, where I stayed at the mary dawe cottage, I am disabled and a wheelchair user, my only observation is to have ramps in and out of all the main doors. there was one to access the front but was not one at the rear door. Will hopefully come back next year :-)
Eddie from Grays Essex (15 August 2015)

Fantastic base for exploring cornwall, we had a problem with our hot water and the staff sorted it straight away nothing was too much trouble, they even double checked withus that everything was ok. the swimming pool was brilliant and very clean always got in. cannot fault the site at all :)
Craig from Trowbridge (08 August 2015)

Great place. Had a wonderful holiday. . . lodges are large, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Hot tub was amazing. Owners very obliging. Lovely play area for children and heated outdoor pool makes it a good choice for families seeking a quiet break. at notter mill, there's a laundry room onsite but I would have scored 10 if it had a washing machine in the lodge itself. . . very conveniently located for the a38 and easy access to lots of places in devon and cornwall. There is a good pub 200 yards away the notter bridge inn. There are no shops within an easy walking distance but there is a waitrose and a lidl in saltash two miles away and some fantastic pubs/restaurants a short drive away - highly recommend the view at whitsand bay, the springer spaniel (masterchef 2012 winner runs it), the crooked inn (amazing steaks and lovely garden for the kids to play in), and the finnygook inn at crafthole. Plymouth, looe, polperro all close by. . . would highly recommend and definitely plan to return.
Victoria from Lichfield (25 July 2015)

We liked the welcoming with the cookies, and the space in the cottage very much. The play area with badminton en tennis is very nice and the swimmingpool is fantastic. Next time we book a cottage with 3 bedrooms instead of two!.
Bert from Uithoorn (The Netherlands) (25 July 2015)

Lovely location, very convenient for the main road for travel to/from places. Accommodation is first class, and the hot tub is perfect! will definitely be back in future

Confirmed Holidaymaker from Berkshire (12 June 2015)

Lovely, peaceful & quiet site to stay on. Maybe not the best location to explore the rest of cornwall but it's handy for looe or polperro. The site can be quite hard to find at first as it isn't signposted and mobile/internet/gps signals are hard to get. The site facilities are fine, and the wildlife is wonderful; we saw a kingfisher by the river. The kids enjoyed the play facilities but it was too cold for us to try the pool at the time. The site owners are very nice and very helpful if a problem occurs. Worth mentioning that the majority of the bungalows appear to be occupied by residents, and one or two are not particularly friendly towards children, so it makes you feel awkward about using your space around the bungalow. But to be fair if the kids are likely to be noisy they are best using the play area. Overall though we were very happy and got good value for money. The bungalows are fantastic places to stay.

We had a great stay, notter hill is very quiet and a safe environment for children.the lodge was very clean and well presented and the hot tub was fab!. be prepared to take at least a 20-40 min drive to the nearest coastline town or beach, however the location is well placed to visit many locations. We would definately revisit notter hill

This was advertised as a cottage but was not a cottage, more of a cabin feel. Whilst clean and tidy, location was poor with few amenities in the vac amity and little to do for children. For the cost I didn't feel this represented value for money and would not look to return.

Stayed in mary dawes no 18. We were situated at the back of the site where we were not overlooked and it was very peaceful. Other lodges were overlooked in the complex. Accommodation was lovely and clean with everything you needed. Only used pool a couple of times as we were out and about so much but it was clean and well maintained. Fab weather helped us have a very active fun week. Overall a very enjoyable holiday.. :)

We've already recommended our holiday to other disabled friends etc. as it was such a lovely place to stay and visit. And had everything that was promised, which is unusual in this day and age. Can't recommend Notter Mill Park in Saltash enough. Thank you so much.
Mrs M from Winchester (16 May 2011)

Notter Mill holiday park is tucked away in beautiful woodland in Cornwall, peaceful and quiet but main roads are easily accessible. Lovely Cornish beaches are a short car ride away. There are also plenty of other holiday activities within easy reach. The chalets are very family friendly. They are cosy, bright, spacious, clean and fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this friendly environment and look forward to the next time.
