Absolutely amazing break away. Everything that we needed all in one place. The log fire is lovely to have on while we were sitting watching the tv then to go into the hot tub was so relaxing. Highly recommend.
Claire from Welwyn Garden City (18 December 2017)

Great last minute break for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Lodge was very clean, warm and cosy with lots of thoughtful touches. Loved the log burner and the hot tub experience. Would definitely return
Laura from High Wycombe (18 December 2017)

Perfect peaceful getaway, but with all mod cons in the lodge and great food and drink on the doorstep!
Loraine from Waterlooville (20 November 2017)

I could not wish for a better break away. The lodge was absolutely perfect and the staff on site were remarkable. Looking forward to the next break away there.
Paul (06 November 2017)

Fantastic break. Cabin was perfect. Hot tub was brilliant. Setting unbeatable.
Stefan from Liskeard (06 November 2017)

Had a wonderful stay. The lodge was everything we expected and so much more. john and deb are a lovely couple who couldn't do more for us. the food from their farm shop was absolutely devine. we have already recommended it to friends and family and will definitely be returning next yr.
Barry from Tenterden Kent (03 November 2017)

Absolutely brilliant holiday. The owners were really accommodating and you can see that they really care about keeping the beauty of the area whilst catering for holidaymakers
Aimee from Suffolk (27 October 2017)

Fabulous lodge, very peaceful, hot tub was blissful, log burner amazing though it got so hot one night we slept (in october) with the bedroom doors and windows wide open, it feels very safe as so far out of the way. The only thing I would say is missing, and they are minor, is salt and pepper in the lodge, we brought some amazing steaks, I don’t usually cook on holiday but did these, some basic condiments to compliment would have been useful. I would also say there is nowhere to put wet and muddy boots and coats, we really struggled to dry out one of my sons welly boots because they are lined and somewhere to put wet and muddy boots would have been great especially as both my sons got soaked when jumping in muddy puddles (as in up to their waist), the washing machine was well used. This is a peaceful holiday with no wifi or phone signal, it was amazing to be off grid but not far (2 miles) to the local town and shops so not isolated, I checked my emails once a day and it has been a very long time since I could say that. There are no real extras but the staff are very friendly and helpful, shop well priced and items produced at the farm. This is a working farm and so looks like it when you arrive but up at the lodges it is pure peace and quiet.
Customer 8 from Surrey (27 October 2017)

Excellent place to stay lovely lodge could not fault anything
Rob from Ramsgate (20 October 2017)

As good as last time
Alan from Farnborough (20 October 2017)

Great for relaxing
Tony from Weybridge (20 October 2017)

Spent a brilliant few days here with family and friends. 2 young children with us who loved the hot tub and the accommodation was first class. No need to even leave the cabin as long as you have enough provisions with you. All of the features you could want are all provided in the home. There was even an iron. The farm shop has some excellent meat and basic provisions for sale and I recommend the pies, mmm, delicious. We didn't bring a pet with us but we found the cabin very clean and could not detect any pet smell or dog hair which was good. Definately looking at booking again sometime. Lack of mobile phone signal could be an issue for some but it is possible to get a signal if you walk up to the farm near the cow sheds or up the hill behind the cabins.
Marc (16 October 2017)

The lodge was very well equipped with everything we needed. lovely furniture. we loved the fact that our lodge was not over looked and very private and peaceful
Christopher from Walderslade (13 October 2017)

We really enjoyed our stay and found the owners very friendly and helpful. site is very quiet and peaceful. Lodge nice and clean. we enjoyed the freshly baked bread and cake left for our arrival. Plenty of places to visit from the site, poole, bournemourth , boscombe and swanage, loved the steam train ride. We enjoyed the taproom at the local brewery, worth a visit. only downside is phone signal is very poor and wifi available only at the farm shop.
Hazel from Bedfordshire (13 October 2017)

Debbie and her family were wonderful we had a near fatal car crash whilst there, we couldn't have asked for nicer people to support us. They helped us with everything even making sure our dog was safe whilst we were taken to hospital. The lodge was perfect we just wish we were able to enjoy it more (injuries).
Diane from Kent (13 October 2017)

It was absolutely perfect. Just what we needed. We were sorry to leave. The lodge was lovely. Lots of room, all mod cons. The wood burner and the hit tub were the icing on the cake. We had our 2 dogs with us and it couldnt have been more perfect for them. They had freedom but were safe and first thing in the morning a lovely walk around the lake outside our lodge gave them a perfect start to the day. Never seen them sleep so well.
Donna from Leighton Buzzard (09 October 2017)

Great holiday with lots of little touches that made it better than other places I have stayed. Little things such as a cake and fresh bread, washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets. The hot tub was also a great bonus and it didn't feel overlooked at all.
Hannah (06 October 2017)

Great few days, lovely spacious lodge and fantastic hot tub. Good location, wifi would have been useful to help plan day trips. This was impossible without phone signal too.
Paul from Holmfirth (29 September 2017)

Perfect
Nicola from Reading (25 September 2017)

Perfect location for a get away from it all break with the dog! hot tub was fantastic & cabin was well equipped. We will definitely be back.
Tracy from West Sussex (25 September 2017)

A fantastic place to relax and unwind
Jayne from Rochester (22 September 2017)

Great get away from it all holiday. The surroundings were beautiful and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Wendy from Kent (22 September 2017)

Lovely, clean and well equipped log cabin. And it was a log cabin not a caravan clad to make it look like a cabin. Perfect, peaceful break.
Sharon from Yorkshire (08 September 2017)

Lovely staff and highly accommodating, providing a lovely lodge and the farm shop had great fresh food.
Lisa from Addlestone (08 September 2017)

Elaine from London (04 September 2017)

Very pleased good size accommodation lovely setting people very friendly and helpful would definitely recommend
Rob from Halstead (01 September 2017)

Great warm welcome (home cooked bread, cake and milk awaiting us). booked in as family (aged 52yrs to 5yrs). all enjoyed the tranquil setting and local wildlife. Hot tub a pure luxury and well maintained. Lodge contained luxury extras that we weren't expecting. Hired fishing gear from the farm and spent a restful day fishing. Proprietors extremely helpful when needing to book a taxi and with information on the local area. Already looking at dates for 2018 as want to return as a family of 4 generations!
Lindsey from Kent (01 September 2017)

Loved the hot tub and also the farm..the staff was very helpful
Mahi from London (28 August 2017)

Fantastic lodge we had a really lovely time! we wanted to take our family away from it all and this was perfect, lots of fresh air, wellies walks and wildlife with the added luxury of a hot tub to unwind, simply lovely! nice and private and relaxed.
Kay from West Midlands (25 August 2017)

Absolutely amazing 2 week stay. Thanks to john, debbie and their team. Our 4 year old loved it. Great location and fantastic lodge. Very clean and well looked after lodges. We will return in the future and highly recommend gold oak farm park if you are looking for a quiet break. The best thing was no mobile phone signal or internet services. The family had to speak to each other!! haha. 10/10
Michelle from Dubai (21 August 2017)

Our third visit to these lodges. John, debbie and tom were perfect hosts as usual. Practically perfect holiday in every way.
Simon from Selsey, Chichester (18 August 2017)

Had a very relaxing four day break everybody on site were friendly & nothing was to much trouble(not that we needed much). local shop's very close by + farm shop/produce were great. A complete get away from the art race of every day life.. :-)
Michael from Northants (18 August 2017)

It was exactly what I expected quiet and peaceful enjoyed the fishing and jacuzzi maybe too long there withe kids and not enough for them to do, which I was kind of aware off when booking
Scott (14 August 2017)

Well furnished and provisioned lodge. The hot tub is a delight. . staff are excellent and very helpful.
Barry (14 August 2017)

Staff are more than accomadating and treated the kids to egg collecting. Some lovely fresh meat from the farm shop and tranquil location
Karen (11 August 2017)

The lodge was fantastic and the staff excellent.
Danny from Cranborne, East Dorset (04 August 2017)

Great location for exploring the area - new forest, the coast and cities (portsmouth) all easily reached. Made better by having a very comfortable, peaceful holiday home to return to - couldn't fault it.
Lesley from Bingley (04 August 2017)

Perfect in every way.
Jonathan from Guildford (31 July 2017)

We have never been to such a well prepared holiday home..the beds were made, there were plenty of towels and we were told the hot tub was ready for us to jump in to! the kitchen was ready supplied with tea towels, kitchen roll and washing up liquid. There was fresh bread, jam the making of tea & coffee with milk in the fridge and the most delicious home made cake! we regularly used the site shop, which was a farm shop supplied with their own produce. we particularly enjoyed the burgers and sausages.
Liz And Dave from Maidstone (28 July 2017)

Our holiday was just perfect! we had the most relaxing time we've had for a long long time.
Gemma from Melksham (28 July 2017)

Beautiful lodge in the middle of nowhere. Everything you could need for a quiet break
Danny from Andover (24 July 2017)

Lovely place
Jackie from Welwyn Garden City (21 July 2017)

Had a fantastic chilled break! would recommend if you are looking to chill and relax in peaceful surroundings. the site owners are lovely and are really helpful; the lodges are well equipped, clean and well maintained and the added touch of fresh baked bread and cake on arrival was well received! at the entrance to the site, there is a small farm shop that sells meat, eggs etc. . if you want an onsite gym, pool, shop, bar, restaurants etc then this is not the place to go. also, you and your guests will need to actually talk to each other as there is no wifi or phone signal! . . we absolutely loved it there and have booked to go back in october.
Teresa from Waterlooville (03 July 2017)

Clean and we'll equipped lodge. The cake and bread was a lovely touch. Use of a hot tub was very inviting.
Mavis from London (26 June 2017)

Loved the location very peaceful and out of the way it was ideal for relaxing. Site staff were so friendly, very helpful.
Martin from Deal, Kent (26 June 2017)

Unfortunately the setting of the lodge was not as expected for a hoeseasons standard. The entrance via the farm was extremely unorganised and unpleasant. This should not be acceptable for a holiday company, this could be dangerous to visitors. . we did not see a single member of staff all weekend apart from the person responsible for checking the hot tub, this lets the experience down massively as we did not feel welcome or have anyone to turn to. There were a few leaflets about nearby attractions but it would have been nice to be treated and have these leaflets made more obvious to us rather than just being found at the back of a cupboard. . overall, the lodge was well equipt and had all the facilities we needed, however the tumble dryer had not been cleaned from a previous visitor as there was a large amount of dust still in there.
Helen (26 June 2017)

Was a lovely break away. Such a quiet place with so much nature. Wonderful farm and lovely staff.
Ben from Kent (26 June 2017)

An amazing lodge away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Fantastic hot-tub and lodge, would definitely return again and are happy to recommend to our family and friends. Also a lovely farm shop available to purchase local produce.
Mark from Torrington (23 June 2017)

Excellent break. Staff could not be more helpful. Lodge requires refurb which we were told was happening early 2018 which would make a big difference. Will definitely be going back
Linda from Bassingbourn (23 June 2017)

Clean, friendly, beautiful and tranquil. would go back again no problem. Only wish the beds were softer other than that everything else was perfect.
Hayley from Carshalton, Surrey (19 June 2017)

Very nice clean and tidy site very friendly owners very quiet and relaxing
Michael from Lancaster (12 June 2017)

Peaceful location. Accommodation was fabulous. Whilst I did have an issue with my sauna, it was dealt with immediately by friendly staff successfully. recommended.

We were very impressed with the entire weekend. The cabin was amazing. Loved the kitchen facilities and relaxing in the hot tub was brilliant.
Karen from Fareham (15 May 2017)

Fantastic! they've thought of everything, even fresh bread, cake and milk on arrival. the lodges are perfect with everything you need. you can buy fresh meat and scrumptious pies at reception. the staff and owners are brilliant and so helpful and friendly. would definitely highly recommend and stay again.
Rachael from St Albans (08 May 2017)

The first impression was upsetting was in tears didn't want to go in. The entrance has building going on, so first thoughts were omg. But after talking to staff and was told not to be put off once we had driven further down to the lodge it was beautiful
Tracey from Feltham (08 May 2017)

Lovely lodge with everything you could need. tom was incredibly friendly and helpful. steak from farm shop was delicious. would most definitely recommend these lodges and stay again.
Debra from Witham Essex (05 May 2017)

Best lodge holiday iv ever had, made even better by the owners and hosts. Some of the nicest people I had dealings with in years. . . alasdair
Alasdair from Lytham St Anne'S (05 May 2017)

Mathew from Bristol (21 April 2017)

A fantastically comfortable lodge with a great hot tub. Amazing welcome and hospitality from the owners. Having fishing on site was a bonus. We will be coming back!
Simon (17 April 2017)

What a wonderful holiday at new forest lodges. We stayed with our four children aged 19, 13, 4 & 3. All had plenty to do, fishing, walking, local place to visit. . . highly recommend bicycle hire and canoeing day at beaulieu. Hire through activities ctr in beaulieu. Was a fabulously fun day. This was 40 min drive down through new forest. Well worth the trip . . also, the heavy horse ctr in verwood for younger ones. Older boys enjoyed go-ape tree top climbing moores valley. 10 min drive away. . . the locals were lovely people. Farm hands were friendly. You can buy meat and fruit and vegetables fresh on the farm, as well as eggs and barbecue bags. . the welcome here was lovely with fresh homemade bread and cake on arrival and milk. . . we loved our peaceful, haven in the countryside and will be returning. . . p s hot tub was devine.
Angela from Essex (17 April 2017)

Fantastic time, beautiful lodge in beautiful location!
Joseph from Portsmouth (14 April 2017)

Relaxing and peaceful. Great for getting away from rat race.
Colin (14 April 2017)

Nice time at the lodge. Peaceful and relaxing. On the whole, comfortable enough for a short break. . downside:. could've done with an enclosed area for the dog. The bed on the 'plinth' is a strange gimmick and not necessary. Cannot walk around the bed without going up and down 2 steps every time. Frustrating at times. On arrival we were told washing machine was leaking and not to use. Didn't bother us for 3 nights, but may have done for a longer stay. . good points:. hot tub was cleaned everyday with privacy from other lodges. Shower had plenty of hot water. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely cake and bread on arrival and milk in fridge. Great area of the new forest to explore. Saw deer and pheasants in next field to lodge every day!
Julie from Dartford (10 April 2017)

Very clean accommodation and the woodburner was wonderful. Very disappointed in the hottub , as although nicely warm and clean , a lot of the jets were not very vigorous and some of the jets did not work , so not the usual massage affect which I was really looking forward too. the owner did do his best to get the best performance but still not great. Also the positioning of the hottub on the back outside patio was unexpectedly lacking in privacy, its appearance was that of a natural private wildground area but in fact was a dog walk area and cut through , this wildground area was higher than the lodge so it felt like you were being looked down on .loverall we would not return because the hottub experience is important to us .
Simon from Fareham (07 April 2017)

Amazing hosts at lodge nothing was any trouble. Very polite and considerate. I went to reception to ask for best places to visit and was given the satnav postcode so easy to find. The surroundings were fantastic and very scenic. Very peaceful place however you have to venture out to go to beach, activities etc. The hot tub was amazing and we could use it the next day after it was hot enough. Everything in the lodge worked and delicious cake and bread, milt, tea bags, coffee all waiting for guests. Have recommended john to everybody and hopefully will go back soon. My only one small criticism is need door hooks and long mirror apart from that perfect.
Parminder from Cranborne (07 April 2017)

Loved it will definitely be going back
James (27 March 2017)

Beautiful lodge with amazing facilities
Jon from Oxford (27 March 2017)

We had an amazing trip to gold oak farm. house was really comfortable but had no walking distance pub nearby. I had to drive everywhere.
Agnes from Hove (24 March 2017)

Really lovely relaxing stay.. loved being in the middle of the country with no phone signal. The hot tub was an added bonus! would definitely return loves it
Lynda (20 March 2017)

Lovely break away farmer john and staff all friendly and helpful. Peaceful location no mobile signal which for us was great highly recommended
Angela from Worthing (20 March 2017)

Lovely people, beautiful surroundings, thoughtful touches provided by the owners, fresh local bread, cakes and milk on arrival. lack of internet and phone signal marred the holiday for us.
Jacki from Shoreham By Sea (10 March 2017)

Really enjoyed our time here. Best log cabin we have stopped in. Also an actual log cabin. We was celebrating our 10th year anniversary we first met and also our doggie chesters first holiday with us. He's 10 months old. Very welcoming. Lovely farm shop to buy fresh locally produced meat! it was yummy the steak. Though no signal with mobiles and no internet for the week it was quite nice and we actually survived ha ha! peaceful location, great for walking. Will return again in the future
Adam from Nottinghamshire (17 February 2017)

Need to add in dog waste bins as there is nowhere to put their rubbish when taking the dog for a walk. other than that, we had a fantastic week!
Sarah from Bexley (17 February 2017)

All of the staff there are amazing, the surroundings are gorgeous, it really is the best place to go, me and my family loved it and will going back next year.
Cayley from Oxford (17 February 2017)

A lovely setting with every luxury you could want. Staff were lovely hosts and we loved the wildlife and peaceful setting.

Very relaxing break in an attractive location. Easy to get to a number of interesting places and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Hot tub and log burner made it even better. Also a friendly welcome and delicious cake waiting on arrival.

Fantastic weekend. Tranquil environment
Jo (16 January 2017)

Lovely relaxed weekend away will defently be back
Lewis from Folkestone (16 January 2017)

We needed a break from our everyday life and this was perfect, quite, comfortable and cosy. The hot tub and jacuzzi were amazing!! farmer john and team were really nice, home made bread and cake on arrival. . we took our little dog with us and he loved it as much as us.
Samantha from Waterlooville (13 January 2017)

Fantastic way to start the new year! . second visit and looking to book again. Far enough enough from the world but close enough to explore the coast, forest and towns.
Joanne from Caterham (06 January 2017)

This is a beautiful place for a peaceful stay in a very well kept and equipped lodge and we loved every minute of of our stay. Local pub with a wifi connection is a great place to eat out and give the kids a quick internet fix as no phone signal on site but you won't miss it as you will be enjoying your holiday!! can not fault our family break
Sharon from Worcester (30 December 2016)

Would have been nice to have christmas lights all round the lake it lacked christmas spirit or trees outside each lodge. The christmas tree inside looked like a last minute thought not very well put together
Mary (27 December 2016)

Lovely park & lodge and stunning surroundings but just too isolated for us. We are no good with no phone signal or internet connection. Had to drive almost two miles to get ee signal. Understand lots of people like to get away from it all but being totally out of contact with our business wasn't good. Absolutely loved the fresh bread and cake etc on arrival.
Katharine from Looe (30 September 2016)

A lovely quiet and pleasant holiday. Log cabins great all fully equipped and clean.. lovely welcome pack. Farmer john and his wife very helpful and friendly. Hot tub wonderful..
Vicky from Kent (23 September 2016)

A very quiet and peaceful holiday, just what we were looking for.
Robert from Swindon (19 September 2016)

If you want to get away from all social media this is the place for you, great quiet location, with lovely courtyside. working farm with only 10 lodges on a slope, all accomodation is staggered so no-one overlooked, great for fishing and walking. your hot tub is checked everyday without you being disturbed. . can wait ti go back again.......
Alan from Hertfordshire (16 September 2016)

Lovely peaceful setting with very helpful staff. lodge was excellent and a lovely touch to be left bread, jam, marmalade and also a cake
Customer 100 from Maidstone (16 September 2016)

We had an amazing visit, the lodge itself was very clean and had everything we could ever need! perfect little getaway!
Stephanie (12 September 2016)

Really great lodge, the only reason I haven't given scores of 10 is just due to a few little niggles which are just my preferences:. . hot tub could be hotter. Sauna should be alot hotter. I would have loved more info in the welcome pack about the farms produce, prices, packs etc, the meat we got from them at the office was stunning and definitely a missed opportunity to not capitalise on this potential amazing extra touch. Wifi would have been lovely but I accept that kind of goes against escaping to the country, it just made exploring what was in the area a bit tricky!. *absolute preference not a complaint*- with such a large bedroom a bigger bed would be great for a starfisher like me!. . all in all a wonderful break, the lodge was well appointed and the basic supplies ample, the bread and cake a great touch!
Paul (09 September 2016)

We had a wonderful break, the lodge had everything required plus more! perfect location, we would have no hesitation to recommend to others. special personal touches made the stay even better! very helpful staff.
Tracey (09 September 2016)

Accommodation can not be faulted, the lodge was clean and had a high end feel. We were made to feel welcome on arrival, the homemade cake and bread a real bonus. . would recommend the lodges to any dog owners as this quality is very hard to find. My dog hattie loves a bit of luxury as do we!
Mark (02 September 2016)

Great place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was much bigger than we anticipated and everything we needed was catered for. Hot tub was lovely and surroundings really peaceful. Would definately stay again.
Colette from Uxbridge (02 September 2016)

Great place to relax and unwind was just what we needed. Will be going again.
Paul from Little Downham. (29 August 2016)

We had a fabulous time at the lodges, the welcome pack was very welcome, especially lovely fresh bread and home-made cake. The lodge was very comfortable and furnished to a good standard, although there was a lack of crockery and glasses in the cupboards. As we could take our dog with us, we would return, but avoid peak season as it was very expensive for what it was.
Valerie from Liphook (29 August 2016)

Wow what a wonderful place to stay. Every little extra touch, from the fresh bread, cake, tea and coffee on arrival to the soft egyptian cotton towels and 2 fab huge showers, was excellent. immaculately clean inside and the hot tub was a great way to start and finish the day. . you definately have to drive from here to explore the best of the new forest but the location is a good base. . wonderful and family run, we would go back without hesitation.
Mike from Wonderful And Family Run, We Would Go Back Without (15 August 2016)

Beautiful beautiful location, very friendly staff ,lodges fantastic hot tub icing on the cake . I want to go back ... only one gripe n that is the decking on veranda not clean nor was the barbecue. Beautiful walks with the dog. saw the deer n kingfishers wow !!

Jessica (08 August 2016)

We had such a wonderful holiday. Didn't want to leave. Would 100% recommend these lodges and would love to go back one day soon
Hannah from Peterborough (08 August 2016)

Great place
Eddie from Borehamwood (29 July 2016)

Our cabin was fab and the staff very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend
Tracey (29 July 2016)

Lovely lodges, location and people. Could just do with some wifi to keep the whole family happy.
James from Bewdley (29 July 2016)

Our lodge was very clean, had most of appliances we have at home.if it had a larger freezer that would have been 100% .the lodge has plenty of parking outside ,peaceful settings, hot tub serviced daily added a lot to our enjoyment.we had a great week in a truly lovely area the owners were friendly and efficient.there were 4 adults and two small dogs in our party.
Cyril from Bexhill On Sea (22 July 2016)

So impressed with the lodge beautiful
Rachel from Leicester (22 July 2016)

Farmer john was lovely .but we found the walks not very nice fallen tress ect not cleared walk ways . the jets on both the hot tub and bath are not great .it was very hot when we stayed and there are no fans nor would the windows in living room open .the cooker smelt of old cooked food .towles left washing we had to put them out to dry .we cleaned are pups mess up and had to clean others that was left outside on the grass. All in all for the price we paid I would not stay again .
Peter from Andover (18 July 2016)

Lovely lodge in a lovely location. Can't wait to go back for another holiday.
Ed from Stoke - On Trent (18 July 2016)

We will definitely come back again!. amazing scenery, close enough to amenities but far enough away for peace and quiet. Loved the hosts, helpful, kind and just a joy to deal with.
Naomi from Sandwich (15 July 2016)

Perfect peaceful retreat
Dale from Ipswich (15 July 2016)

We were just blown away from the tranquility and such utter peace
Peter from Bournemouth (11 July 2016)

What a great place .we could have not asked for any thing better.
Barbara from Rochester Kent (04 July 2016)

A most enjoyable and relaxing time was spent with very attentive and helpful staff.
Richard from Halesowen (01 July 2016)

The quality of the lounge and dining table chairs and settees were very uncomfortable and my wife and I were unable to sit comfortably and watch t.v. And just were not comfortable for sitting up to dinner etc . I think it was one of the very oldest lodges. there was hardly room to walk round the bed in the second bedroom : you had to sideways-shuffle your way round ! a lot of money for an uncomfortable stay and a very, very, big let-down for your lodges- and we have used other lodges which have been excellent. We will advise our friends who may plan to stay there, accordingly. j.r.
John from London (01 July 2016)

Fantastic location for exploring the new forest. lodge was clean and comfortable and set in peaceful surroundings. we saw lots of great spotted woodpeckers, yellow hammer and deer by the lakes. welcoming cake, on arrival, was a treat and staff very friendly. would definetly return.
Linda (27 June 2016)

Was the perfect place to get away from it all. The fact there is no wifi or phone signal is a total bonus as it meant we all completely switched off. The hot tubs are amazing. We will be back very soon!
Wayne from Milton Keynes (27 June 2016)

Overall our stay in the lodge was first class. The quality of the fixtures--fittings--furniture and lay out was faultless. To sit in the hot tub at 11 pm with the peace and quiet watching the stars whilst drinking bubbles we found idyllic. The 3 nights we spent there were almost perfect. There were only 3 minor things we feel would have made the our experience perfect---1), the rear sauna wall had become detached from the side wall hence there was a gap of about 2 inches all the way down. I am not sure how much difference this made to the heat but the temperature did not get to any where near what it should have done. 2) we felt that there should have been more fencing between the lodges to stop people from the other lodges walking into our area, it would only require 2 fences fitted and that would give total privacy, our neighbours and their dog walked around once and we found this intrusive. 3) I would imagine that many of the people staying in the lodges would spend some time naked in the hot tub and sauna, we did find it off putting and again intrusive that twice a day someone came and checked the hot tub. Whist we understood that this check has to be made I think it would be better if there were specific times for this visit because it could have been very embarrassing. These points did not detract from our pleasure and we will certainly be going back again this year and we have recommended the lodges to friends.
Adrian from Eastbourne (20 June 2016)

Very impressed with the lodge exactly what we wanted. We did girls holiday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We thought having no internet and phone access would be terrible but in actual fact it was bliss. Access could be got if you moved around the site.
Natalie from Worthing (17 June 2016)

Enjoyed it that much we booked again for october as soon as we got home
Wendy (10 June 2016)

We enjoyed our lodge holiday, we would book again and recommend.
Steve from Reading (10 June 2016)

Fantastic cabin in a great central location. Lovely to relax in the hot tub after a good day out.
Mark (03 June 2016)

Had a brilliant time, the lodge was even nicer than the pictures look online, loved it. Spent a lot of time star gazing from the hot tub whilst our dog pottered around in the long grass! lovely setting, the owner was a lovely helpful chap and there were nice finishing touches such as homemade cake, bread and milk. We will be coming back, magical place!
Jennifer from Le65 (30 May 2016)

Surroundings of lodge amazing though had to drive to get to any shops attractions. Lodge very nice but cleanliness left a lot to be desired, lots of cobwebs and thick dust everywhere, though things like towels were spotless.
Lois (30 May 2016)

Had a fantastic stay so relaxing and peaceful. The hot tub and fresh bread and homemade cake were an added bonus.we will definitely be going back again at some point .
Theresa from Plymouth (27 May 2016)

We had a lovely break at the new forest lodges. It was nice and relaxing. The lodge had everything we needed. Supplied us with sachets of coffee, tea bags, milk in the fridge. Also a nice homemade cake and bread for when we arrived. the shops wasn't too far away to get some groceries in and drink. Loved ending the day by sitting in the hot tub and going back in to the log fire burning away. I want to go back already. We miss that life of peace and quiet. Time to save pennies to go back again. 10/10
Caroline from Weymouth (20 May 2016)

A really good short break. Nice large lodge for two with good quality fixtures and fittings. Well equipped kitchen and appliances. Loved the peace and quiet and the hot tub.
Frances from Gloucester (20 May 2016)

A very nice place to stay, clean and tidy - great to unwind in a relaxed location!
Tony from Stowmarket, Suffolk (16 May 2016)

Will be going back !
Jason (13 May 2016)

We had a wonderful time. The cleanliness of the lodges and the hot tubs were a real plus. The only downside is that we had no internet or mobile signal. No doubt a good thing for some but we had people who needed to check into work so it was a real inconvenience.
Linda (06 May 2016)

Lovely clean and well equipped cabin, very friendly staff. Lovely places to visit and places to eat
Neil from Stowmarket (06 May 2016)

Fantastic holiday will be going again owners so helpful and nothing was to much brill time just no signal on phone but wifi would be a good thing to think about
Aaron from Herts (06 May 2016)

Lovely place to stay for a peaceful weekend! bread, milk and cake there waiting for us on arrival! beautiful surroundings and a great break away!
Emily from Gosport (02 May 2016)

Loved it, we went as a sisters break for 3 nights, immaculately clean, everything you could need
Suzanne from Exeter (02 May 2016)

Lovely peaceful break
Mandi (02 May 2016)

We visited new forest lodges in april 2016 & we are a family of 5. The friendly owner gave us a great welcome, with some fresh bread & home made cake. The lodge was spacious & clean - absolutely perfect. The icing on the cake was the hot tub. We all spent a great deal of time in there; so relaxing! the location was lovely & quiet. We heard a woodpecker for the first time! the accommodation was also a great base for days out - we went to longleat & weymouth, as well as locally e.g. Burley & the heavy horse centre. Would recommend & return.
Nicola from Maldon, Essex (08 April 2016)

Lovely location lovely log cabin fantastic hot tub and the people that run it could not be more inviting helpful and present I highly recommend it
