Although it was november we had a great time
Catherine from Glenrothes (20 November 2017)

Excellent family break
Eilidh from Lochaber (20 November 2017)

Fantastic site. Stunning beach and caravans
Debbie from Aberdeen (13 November 2017)

The park itself is lovely and clean as is the accommodation, the town of nairn unfortunately has suffered because of the big supermarkets
Justine from Oxfordshire (28 October 2017)

Fabulous time in nairn lochloy. Gorgeous setting, great facilities, helpful staff and overall well worth the long drive to get there!
Sarah from Livingston (20 October 2017)

The mustard family: we have been coming to loch loy for years now. And never fails to feel special and like extended family.
Euan from Fife (16 October 2017)

Great location. Lots of walks along the beach that stretches for miles. Caravan very clean. A problem with the cooker was quickly solved after we reported it.
Ann from Caravan Very Clean. A Problem With The Cooker Was (14 October 2017)

We really enjoyed our holiday at nairn. The friendliness of all the site staff was fantastic which made the stay for us. Everyone was so helpful and kind especially in the restaurant and entertainment lounge.
Mo from Inverness (09 October 2017)

We had a great holiday as we have been before and knew we would enjoy ourselves
Margaret from Kirkcaldy (29 September 2017)

Perfect break in late september
Carrie from Inverurie (29 September 2017)

Was a long walk from the caravan to the entertainment area etc. Anyone with walking difficulties like myself had to drive and therefore couldn't enjoy a drink or two. The van was comfortable enough but had no small cushions to rest your head or back. Food was excellent at the lounge bar
Gerry (18 September 2017)

Long weekend stay, caravan perfect size for family of 4. Pool was good and entertainment was fun.
Stephen from Aberdeen (18 September 2017)

Love the beach..entertainment poor..nairn is very good..only bad thing was boy racers
Mike from Dundee (04 September 2017)

Location and staff were brilliant so was the caravan. The size of the pool and arcade let it down.
Emma from Stamford (04 September 2017)

This is our second time to this year. If we could we'd live there! we're coming again next year. We've stayed in lots of parks. This is the best one ever! we love it!
Emma from Wigan (01 September 2017)

Best holiday home we have ever been in will be going back.
Lee from Nottingham (28 August 2017)

Location is excellent . easy to find and a great beach. . caravan was shabby at best but facilities was stupid. . first come first served for swimming instead of a booking system is stupid
Matthew from Darlington (28 August 2017)

Kids loved the entertainment and play park. Swimming pool was nice although there weren't enough changing cubicles. Caravan was nice and had plenty of dinnerware and all the essential utensils etc however the sofa bed was not a sofa bed! luckily we didn't need to use it as the littler ones used a cot so I just slept on the sofa but had we needed to use it as a bed I would have had to complain. The bed was just a piece of plywood with hinges to attach it, no mattress. I did try the first night but due to the shiny wood the cushions slipped straight off (leaving me with a giant bruise on my leg!) other than that there were no complaints. Food in the bar was nice and a good range of choice. Staff were cheery and helpful
Vicky from Durham (28 August 2017)

Very good beach access caravan nice and clean
Deborah from Hawkinge (26 August 2017)

Great holiday location. Children's entertainment was good all be it a little repetitive but the children enjoyed and that's what it's there for! . the television in the caravan did not work (freeview) wouldn't connect, informed the staff but this wasn't fixed. not a huge issue as we didn't miss the tv but it might be an issue for other holiday makers.
Glen from Children'S Entertainment Was Good All Be It A (25 August 2017)

Caravan was a bit tatty and needed some repairs as doors nor closing properly and covers on seating very badly worn. gas oven need to light manually but was clean
Keith (18 August 2017)

Lovely holiday,,great location,,entertainment enjoyable,,,we certainly will book again
Yvonne from Forfar Angus (18 August 2017)

Holiday was ok; caravans too close to eachother, not a lot of privacy. Swimmingpool system (1hour swimming only) terrible and causes some chaos from time to time..
Dlam from Sittard Netherlands (11 August 2017)

Nice place, very close to the beautiful sandy beach; friendly staff.
Edyta (11 August 2017)

Pool changing rooms could do with renovating and being more clean very dirty .
Donald from Fort William (07 August 2017)

Only one thing we found wrong with our holiday was we booked for 2 children but they had our booking down for only 1 child and when we arrived there was no bedding on the single beds due to the booking error so had to go ask for bedding and make them ourself and the curtains in the bedrooms were really thin so let the sunlight in
Steven (07 August 2017)

The caravan was not clean with crumbs and sticky sweets under the cushions. The previous occupiers had left a used bbq tray and a mountain of tabbies behind the decking. I thought the holiday was over priced considering the amenities.
Carol from Aberdeen (04 August 2017)

Had a lovely weekend with our grandchildren. Beautiful location and the caravan was pristine. Would come back again.
Margaret from Glasgow (31 July 2017)

We enjoyed our weekend would have been great if could get into caravan earlier
Karen from Huntly (24 July 2017)

Despite wrong caravan on arrival everything was to our satisfaction. Would have liked decking but not a big issue.
Christine from Bonnyrigg (22 July 2017)

2nd year in a row we have stayed at this location and we had the sames caravan on both occasions. The only negative is that some of the doors in the caravan were tricky to close and to get locked. Fantastic location, very clean site with plenty of bins. Looking to make it 3 years in a row.
Roderick from Glasgow (22 July 2017)

I was by myself, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet. . enjoy walking along the beach and prom. . also the television with all those channel.
Julia from Grantown On Spey (21 July 2017)

Have had much nicer accommodation in the past for less, admittedly without the facilities on site.
Christina from Bridge Of Weir (17 July 2017)

Never been before but caravan not close to caravans we have stayed in at other sites. Said there was a dvd player but not one. Caravan tired and seating not comfortable. Cost a bit more than caravans we have been to on different sites which had comfortable, clean and modern interiors with 2nd toilet and loads more space.
Kathleen from Aberdeen (23 June 2017)

Good site for young children but not much for teenagers. I don't play but the bingo was an issue as the games are linked to all the other sites over britain. What with the high price of the books and the internet going down when playing it takes the fun out of playing. The last game was a local one though. There was lots to do off site with inverness and highlands within short distances. Site is lovely and kept clean. The only bugbear was that the swimming pool is sectioned into 1 hour slots, which is acceptable in peak, busy seasons but when the pool holds 30 folk and there are only 6 in the pool, it's annoying to have to get out, get dressed and go to reception to secure another 1 hour swim. If it's not busy they could have used their discretion and let folk swim for a wee while longer.
Louise from Near Edinburgh (10 June 2017)

We had a great holiday weather was glorious. we were on the beach on friday night until late as it was so warm and watched the sun set. we went to inverness on saturday shopping and then back for a bit to eat and went to the entertainment at night. sunday we had a leisurely breakfast up sitting outside at the marina. it was lovely the only down side was the caravan had not been totally cleaned as there was someone elses dirty washing in the wardrope
William from Lanarkshire (29 May 2017)

Lovely holiday, nice caravan, beautifully clean, gorgeous surroundings, helpful friendly staff. Will almost certainly return.
Susan from Northamptonshire (26 May 2017)

Amazing!
Siobhan from Carluke (15 May 2017)

Nice site. Caravan layout could have been better. Good food at a reasonable price.
Mike from Inverurie (12 May 2017)

We thought there was wifi in the cabin, but that was not ready yet and only available in the restaurant. The swimming pool could only be used for 50 minutes a time. The park is very clean and the surrounding is marvelous!
Robert (28 April 2017)

Nairn was cold. The swimming pool changing room floors were filthy at 3pm on the afternoon and really unpleasant. Everything else was fab.
Marina from Warwickshire (21 April 2017)

I stay here whilst visiting family in the area. overall it is not a bad place to stay. the vans are decent and reasonably clean. I don't use the kids clubs so cannot comment on them. the bingo in an evening isvery expensive and all bar one game is linked up to the other clubs. yes it makes price money good but not much chance of a win. would prefer on 1 linked game myself.
Nichola from Sheffield (21 April 2017)

Had a lovely time in beautiful nairn. The beach is amazing. 6yr old loved the entertainment and kids clubs. 1yr old love the space to run around. Perfect family break.
Garry (14 April 2017)

Had a great time caravan was great
Annette (14 April 2017)

Love this caravan site. Beach is beautiful. Staff are excellent.
Yvonne from Livingston (08 April 2017)

I've been here a few times, but not for a few years and the entertainment they have on site for the children is wonderful. It was split into different age groups which was excellent. We had a large lovely clean van with all beds made up on arrival. we had to report the heating had broken and a man was there to fix it before we had even returned from reporting it. the surrounding area is just lovely with the site being right on the beach and a large park within easy walking distance.
Donna from Menstrie (08 April 2017)

The site appeared overcrowded and nit very well equipped. All round we were very dissapointed
Michael from Burton On Trent (03 April 2017)

Always have brilliant holidays here
Christine (03 October 2016)

Holiday was very good. Love this location and facilities are all good
Jane from Stonehaven (30 September 2016)

Beautiful part of the country and would spay again.
Jennifer (19 September 2016)

Fantastic stay. Great location, plenty to do and friendly helpful staff. Will be back again soon
Donna from Falkirk (12 September 2016)

Used as a base to explore very good location did not use the facilities as such just the restaurant could do with better menu but food was very good
Dave from Tamworth (10 September 2016)

Very nice site and a great base for seeing northern scotland
Gordon from Kidderminster (03 September 2016)

Loads for the kids to do, but the restaurant opened late in a morning
Andrew from Rossendale (02 September 2016)

We had a wonderful few days at nairn lochloy. We were very lucky with the weather which helped but I think we would have had fun anyway. Direct access to a beautiful beach is fantastic and we were down there both day and, round a bonfire, at night. The kids absolutely loved the pool, especially as there were water-polo goals which they were allowed to play with whenever they wanted by the kind lifeguard staff. You could only get in the pool in 1-hour slots but that worked fine. We went at the end of august when the scottish schools were back so it wasn't too busy. It may well be harder to get into the pool earlier in the summer. Our caravan was excellent and very clean and nairn is a perfect spot for getting all over the utterly stunning area of moray. Highly recommended.
Joanna from Derby (26 August 2016)

Good location, pool could do with a with slide, caravan was old door had big gaps around. Beach nice.
Samuel from Leicestershire (12 August 2016)

This is a beautiful park in a beautiful surroundings. We went at peak time so was pricey but so is everywhere in august. The caravan was spotless and suitable for our family and dog. A really well run park. Lots to do in the local area. Sainsburys very close. The beach is a 1 minute walk and is gorgeous. Just need tropical weather! . great family holiday.
Jackie (12 August 2016)

The caravan stank of cigarette smoke. We had young children with us, I have asthma and these caravans are meant to be no smoking so I found this to be totally unacceptable.
Helena (12 August 2016)

Had a great holiday at lochloy. the caravan was very high spec and was very clean. Overall very satisfied with the holiday and would definitely recommend to friends and family
Moira from Airdrie (12 August 2016)

The restraunt food was reasonably priced and the menu choices were good but the actual cooking was awful, the food tasted like it had been microwaved to death. It was such a shame.
Zoe (29 July 2016)

Site is in a great location. easy walking access to local childrens parks and beautiful beach. swimming pool changing rooms are limited and we felt too many people were allowed in given the size of the pool. although there were life guards present not sure how much they can see given the number of bodies splashing around. we only used the pool once but found local swimming pool in nairn was brilliant.
Andrea from Penicuik (09 July 2016)

All our family enjoyed the time there even the rain didn't scared us. Both kids adored the sid and lizzy shows. We were very surprised about spotless caravan as well. Great place to stay!
Elgars from Stirling (04 July 2016)

Had a wonderful holiday decided to go on my own with friends coming to visit and we all enjoyed our stay the location is fantastic with just two minute walk to the beach the town of nairn has lots of interesting shops excellent charity shops and everybody we met were very friendly and pleasant it has a nice buzz to the place. I was recovering an illness and would recommend it as a place to convalescence ko my 0
Elizabeath (13 June 2016)

Great first holiday for my grandaughter
Alistair from Peterculter (13 June 2016)

Lovely site right on the beach. Small and friendly with good facilities
Anne from Hythe (03 June 2016)

Good holiday, accommodation, site and facilities. definitely worth a second visit.
Bill from Tweedbank (13 May 2016)

Excellent accommodation but restaurant and bars need to be dog friendly. Especially during day and after 9 pm. Understand no dogs where food is served otherwise allow them in on leada with responsible owners.
Customer 67 from Thurso (29 April 2016)

Beautiful location. Only improvement that could be made is possibly a booking system for the pool. It's very small and you just have to queue and hope that you get in.
Ruth from Bathgate (08 April 2016)

Took our two mothers for a break away loved the caravan and staff really helpful plenty to do and visit definitely be back !
Anna from Coupar Angus (18 March 2016)

Very good location and a clean surroundings
James from Falkirk (06 November 2015)

Really liked the caravan. Spotlessly clean. The site is also well situated, clean, tidy and well maintained. I was there the very last week of the season which I presume was why the shop wasn't open as stated and the stock was very low, sainsbury's just up the road dealt with our needs. Some residents had no consideration for others as they partied noisily into the small hours. Didn't go in the club at night too many kids running round un-controlled till far past their bedtimes but not really the sites fault although they could insist on a 'time' in there that kids had to sit down and behave. Restaurant was expensive, we ate there twice then self catered or went elsewhere. It was usually fairly empty which speaks volumes, also staff forgot to check if they had customers, then forgot they had customers so you were left hanging about the bar waiting to pay for far!!! too long, good job i'm honest. I would go again and hopefully these niggles will have been improved.

Excellent facilities within caravan. Great weather for october and lots of friends to share all the fun. Entertainment staff were great with all the children. Already gathering names for next october as everyone wants to go. Best holiday this year. It says you don't get in till 4pm although you can use the park facilities. Gave reception my mobile number and they phoned me at 2pm to say caravan ready. What more can you ask for. Brilliant service

We've been before and will doubtless be back to lochloy. Facilities and location are excellent. We don't use the club so can't offer an opinion on that but other than that it's an ideal park for us.

Alan from Aberdeen (31 August 2015)

Great location for visiting attractions and a stones throw from the beach. The site itself was very peaceful and offered a good evening entertainment. The shop was fairly well stocked and there are various supermarkets in the town for those extras. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Location is great, nairn is a lovely place to visit with plenty to do if you're willing to go out and about. The facilities were not great for the price of the holiday. Our caravan was pretty dated and I am sure it was a private caravan which smelt of animals, but it was a last minute transfer so was just pleased we got nairn.

Very good, staff very helpfull , well kept and maintained site , also security very good
Catherine from Oldmeldrum (24 July 2015)

Enjoyed the break. It would be handy to have an arrival pack in each caravan of kitchen necessities such as washing up liquid, cloths etc. also there could be a better system for queuing for swimming. Bands could be issued as you enter reception which would save any awkwardness about who had arrived first.

Great stay, luckily nairn lochloy staff managed to sort caravans close to our family as we requested with another company but they never left a note saying this.

Far too expensive for caravans all packed together in rows. Got the impression the place was trying to get as many caravans in the place rather than making the place impressive looking. Gambling machines that children have availability to is not a great idea.

Overall it was a fantastic stay. The only problem we had was that the fridge wasn't on when we arrived which if you are bringing frozen goods is no good. Plus it didn't tell you where the switch was to do so, so we had to call for help. If you explained where the switch was that would help. We ate in the restaurant one evening and although the food was excellent the service was rubbish. We waited half an hour, and eventually gave up on dessert or more drinks as even though it wasn't busy the staff didn't come and see us.

Great site in a great location. Would definitely return in the future.
Kenny from Aberdeen (27 April 2015)

Would be good to invest in an indoor play area since the weather is not always great. also the toilets (ladies) at the entertainment area always had an odd smell, instead of a clean smell. would be good to see these cleaned a bit more, especially when there are loads of kids using them.

The staff were particularlyhelpful and friendly from the start to the finish. The meals were lovely . it was the best prawn cocktail ever!. very well run and although busy it was peaceful . very assuring to have the little white vans touring around a lot.

A lovely park with ample facilities. It could use a larger pool but other than that i'd highly recommend it. . the caravan was perfect. There was a problem with tv reception on arrival but that was sorted in minutes ( a new ariel was fitted). . already re-booked.

Been on a number of caravan holidays and nairn lochloy hands down is the best caravan site and caravan to date. The park was well equipped. The staff were friendly. The caravan was clean, well equipped and ready when we arrived early. The entertainment was good and not too noisy for the kids. The pool was a good size, clean and had good availability. Nairn itself is lacking a little in retail but inverness is a stones throw. . . the only thing I would say nairn lochloy could improve is putting in a larger play park for the kids.

Not much for teenagers, no sports facilities such as five a side, basketball nets ot tennis, definately geared for younger children.

Very good holiday
John from Forest Town (05 September 2014)

Swimming facility crap and changing rooms damp and cold
Katie from Thirsk (22 August 2014)

Great holiday, although disappointed with cleanliness of caravan. Also not ready when we arrived. Great sure and great entertainment.
Claire from Inverurie (18 August 2014)

Had a fantastic week. Will be back. Even bad weather didn't spoil our holiday.
Joyce from Fort William (16 August 2014)

Nice but expensive for just mon-fri.
Wendy from Perth (25 July 2014)

Fantastic location very close to a terrific beach - ideal for the kids. Only slightly let down by cleanliness of the caravan e.g. Dirty windows, curtains partially hanging off as a result of no curtain hooks.
Bryan from Falkirk (19 July 2014)

The park itself was ok, nothing to do if it was raining apart from swimming and you had to queue 10 mins before the hour every hour and only got 50 mins in the pool as only 32 people alllowed in the small poo at one time. The shetland caravan itself was absolutely filthy and we had to complain upon arrival unfortunately, the areas of concern were cleaned but upon closer inspection when we returned to our caravan the whole thing was disgusting and there were dog hairs all over the supposed pet free caravan. We made the most of our short holiday by spending as little time as possible in the caravan which is unfortunate as our 2 girls loved being there!
Nicholas from Aberdeen (14 July 2014)

We took our grandchildren with us on holiday and found the park to be extremely family friendly, beautiful beaches and the site very clean. thoroughly enjoyed our week there
Margaret from Kirriemuir (11 July 2014)

Great for families - would go back.
Nicola from Edinburgh (05 July 2014)

Great location, right next to a lovely beach. My 5 and 7 year old girls loved the park, the pool and the entertainment. The accommodation was nice and clean. We had a wobbly dining table which was fixed right away. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Marie from Ayrshire (04 July 2014)

To be a top of the range brand new caravan I would not have expected mould round shower nor an extremely wobbly table to suit the entertainment song " wibble wobble.." caravan wasn't that clean and worse of all it was infested with ants. Staff came to sort 3 times eventually I gave up and bought ant killer myself and had to use it a lot! also disappointed a mug had been left by a previous occupant and not removed during cleaning! having said all that I love the location of nairn its a great park and we keep coming back. We had a great time.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (30 June 2014)

The only down fall was the lady in next caravan let her dog bark all day and night .hardly slept.did ask her to keep him quiet but as she owned her caravan she was rather rude.would like to return in august again ,but my son is autistic and found the barking very intense ,made him really anxious.
Jean from Edinburgh (08 June 2014)

The location, entertainment, and the pool
Fiona from Aberdeen (14 September 2013)

Lovely location right on the beach. Nice pool always quiet but it was september they seemed to have reasonable processes in place for busy periods. My daughter loved the evening entertainment which must have been hard at times for the staff due small numbers of children.
Jennifer from Glasgow (07 September 2013)

Van was clean
Sandra from Thingwall Wirral (07 September 2013)

Location and surrounding area is breath taking. Staff are very helpful and friendly.
Andrew from Perth (02 September 2013)

Carolyne from Bingley (31 August 2013)

Right next to the beach and near to the town
Derek from Staines (19 August 2013)

Lovely part of the country, the people where very friendly. The best way to put it is that it was hard to leave and has got a real pull for us to go back.
Tony from Liverpool (17 August 2013)
