On arrival easy check in, pleasant staff. Given free tickets to wookey hole caves!! and plenty of local info. Drove around to the lodge, very clean, very tidy, hot tub already on and hot. Lodge well equipped with all essentials, very clean and new. Smelt nice. Plenty of towels. Check in was from 1600, a bit late. And was dark on arrival however waking up to a lovely view was perfect. Good parking for x2 vehicles on a hard standing. Decking is great and patio doors open up to a private outdoor dining table. . 100% worth staying there. Tesco, lidl, and waitrose only about 5/10 minute drive. Wells city / centre / cathedral close by. Some nice local pubs in walking distance. Go and try it!
Tom from Plymouth (18 December 2017)

Lovely lodge cleaned to high standard. Lodges over look the back of the hotel and you have to drive up a pot holed gravel road to get there. Some lodges the parking is tight if more than one car and would struggle to get an estate in the space as they arent very long. Overall for what we paid cant argue
Nick from Locking (11 December 2017)

Scores would have been higher except for no wifi in lodge and the staff wouldnt help "its working down here"
Bryan (04 December 2017)

Lovely place to stay, friendly staff, with easy to reach places, bath, bristol, weston super mare etc. We stayed in the lodge with fab views and hot tub. Only small criticism was the kettle!! only big enough for 2 cups of tea, when its a 6 berth.
Colin from Worksop (04 December 2017)

We had a fabulous weekend, our accommodation was clean and well equipped and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We have already looked to book again next year.
Amanda from Weston Super Mare (27 November 2017)

Very small. Two small for 6 adults. Beds were tiny and uncomfortable. Only 4 stalls to sit and eat supper. Location would be ok if you liked walking .. i’d not rebook.
Sarah from London (27 November 2017)

Only downside no washing machine. Also in the lodge it's advertised free wi fi but unfortunately it isn't reached . we loved it and it had a cute feel will definatly 're visit
Chelsie (27 November 2017)

Path down to restaurant was a bit uneven and slippery, especially in the dark.
Customer 8 (20 November 2017)

Great accommodation and great location. Love the hot tub.
Siobhan from Swindon (17 November 2017)

Staff in the hotel were good and not so good. Some went out of their way to be helpful while others you felt it was too much trouble. The road leading up to the lodges is very rough and with a number of bad pot holes. The exterior lighting is also poor for these dark evenings and it all goes off completely in the night. Views from the lodge were lovely.
Linda from Carmarthenshire (10 November 2017)

Great value accommodation.. made great use of the hot tub.
Jonathan from March (10 November 2017)

Lodges were spacious and warm, beds rather small not great for adults. Hot tub great, cleaned everyday. Our heating and hot water did stop working and all maintenance staff were absent but with some help from my husband he helped restore it again. The staff were friendly. Not many places to eat, the wookey inn over the road served lovely food and wine. The hotel could do with upgrading their dining bar area to make it a place for guests to unwind and enjoy. Overall had a lovely time and would return.
Melanie (06 November 2017)

A beautiful cabin in lovely surroundings. Peaceful and relaxing with every amenity. Would book again.
Deborah (03 November 2017)

Excellent lodge lovely surrounding really good value for money
Susan from Milford Haven (03 November 2017)

Lovely relaxing holiday in a new lodge with everything you need inside and a beautiful hot tub outside.
Julia from Swansea (03 November 2017)

Great value for money in the kids half term.
Shaun (03 November 2017)

A wonderful holiday home set with only about 10 in total all with hot tub and fantastic views. The holiday homes were clean tidy and thoughtful (tea, coffee and milks etc, salt and pepper and cleaning bits and bobs). the price is excellent value i’ve seen others double that or more for the same thing. Will definitely be back!
Heidi from Peterborough (30 October 2017)

Fantastic location and all very good. Only negative thing to say which stopped top rating is restraunt is over priced for quality of what you get im afraid and breakfasts well over priced. Only suggestion is in the soft play area you have access too after hours it could do with a coffee machine/snack machines for the adults while the kids play
Jason (30 October 2017)

Lodge was lovely.especially the hot tub. Staff helpful.we did have a lovely break..however , a couple of notes..only advice I would give would be since it was a lodge for 6 people.why are there only 4 seats for the dining table with no other facilities for the other two ie lap tray or anything ? also ,the matt by the back door was damp and smelt due to people coming in and out from the hot tub instead of using the side door !maybe lino there would be better. Unfortunately ,we were there near to halloween and the field up to the lodges was very muddy .we were trying to get out in our car for the day.but lots of people were trying to come up in the opposite direction.on both tracks to park on the overflow field.maybe the lodge park could benefit from its own separate entrance as it was very frustrating trying to get out.!!
Customer 19 from West Midlands (27 October 2017)

Lovely little get away with the wife and three children. . . clean caravans, lovely hot tubs and really enjoyed ourselves!
Gary from Stourbridge (27 October 2017)

Very nice location, lodges very nice and well equipped. Would like if you could change the temperature of the hot tub but didn't ruin the holiday in any way. Staff very helpful and polite. Liked that we had free access to the caves etc on a day of our choice, didn't realise this was included so that was a nice surprise
Natalie from Bristol (20 October 2017)

Quite and peaceful break in lovely well equipped lodge.
Carolyn (16 October 2017)

We had a very good time with the grand kids only thing I did not like was the parking at the lodge we loved the hot tub and we will be back
Deb (13 October 2017)

Excellent chalet although a little cramped. We were two adults and two children in a 6 berth chalet. It would have been very crowded were there 6 of us. That aside, it was well kept, clean and cosy. Hot tub was brilliant. Staff were excellent. Only real complaint is about the three legged stools provided for the dining area - they tip over very easily so not great where children are concerned. We had a few tip overs but luckily no real harm.
Claire (13 October 2017)

We had a great long weekend break here, the lodge was clean, tidy and well equipped. The bedrooms are on the smaller size but we were 5 adults and we managed. The hotel staff were really helpful and the free tickets to the wookey hole and crazy golf made the weekend break very reasonable.
Ruth (09 October 2017)

Lovely holiday, staff and lodges were lovely. Wi-fi was intermittent but could be because it was out in the country. We would defintley stay there again.
Sean from Southampton (06 October 2017)

The lodges bedrooms are so small you can hardly move around. Would be nice to have some table lights in the bedrooms and a side light in living room. No toiletries provided a soap in bathrooms would be good idea.
Stella from Midsomer Norton (02 October 2017)

The lodges and hot tub were top class staff were good food at the hotel was good and I think good value the only thing that disappointed us was the actual resort of the caves
Chris from Ruabon (02 October 2017)

Pretty and quiet location. Caravan was modern, warm and spotless. There was a not very nice damp smell in the living area though, maybe the doormats? one of the stools was also broken. . living room sofa not particularly comfortable but we knew this would be the case from other caravans we stayed in. The bonus was the lovely hot tub. Bedrooms small, and beds but absolutely fine for 2 adults and a three year old. It was a great base to stay, relaxing and good value for money. Staff were polite and helpful. Restaurant food was good. Perhaps a small shop for essentials would be useful.
Charlotte from Southsea (29 September 2017)

Was a nice quiet surroundings anyone with little ones theirs not much for kids to do their apart from the caves but we found it pleasant
David from Abingdon (29 September 2017)

We had the platinum lodge and it was stunning the best we’ve stayed in so far we didn’t want to leave, it had everything we needed to make our holiday very comfortable. lovely peaceful surroundings will definitely be coming back.
Debbie from Plymouth (29 September 2017)

Excellent lodge very luxurious, will visit again
Michael from Nottingham (22 September 2017)

Lovely place for a getaway!
Jasmine from Sevenoaks (22 September 2017)

We had a wonderful time at mendip view. We loved the peaceful setting and spent a memorable family holiday
Kelly from Bury St. Edmunds Suffolk (18 September 2017)

Lovely stay but disappointed in wookey no access for pushchairs expected to carry a new baby down uneven wet steps could be very dangerous
Katie from Newport (15 September 2017)

Despite the very changeable weather, we had a great time. The caravan lodge was excellent- although the twin rooms were tight- the quality and facilities were excellent . the hot tub was fantastic. Easy drive into wells which was wonderful . great break
Peter from Loughborough (15 September 2017)

Wonderful having outside furniture and a hot tub. The only thing for us was the double bedroom was very small, but it is a lovely caravan.
Diane from Kent (15 September 2017)

The lodges was all close together. You couldnt be seen while in the hot tub, but you could hear the people talking who was sat on there veranda!!!! you had all that grass space and you put the lodges all very near each other I think poor planning!
Karen from Bridport (11 September 2017)

Absolutely brilliant time at wookey hole. Bonus being able to go into the caves. Perfect relaxing weekend away. Highly recommended
Claire from Basingstoke (11 September 2017)

The lodge was small and we were a family of 4. We couldn't have fit 6 people comfortably in there. The table was only designed for 4 people. The lodge was clean but lack the extra mile of cleanliness such as clean windows and there was a leaking gutter over the main door that needed attention and some general tweaks such a loose draws and faulty fan in the shower room. I agree with previous feedback please 're think the sofa that after 7 days we couldn't wait to return home as it was so uncomfortable.
Helen from Nottingham (08 September 2017)

Had a great holiday, grandkids loved the hot tub, accommodation was spotless. Overall good holiday.
Jackie from Brighton (08 September 2017)

The lodges more hangers to hang clothes but other than that the lodge was very well equipped
Chantale from Exeter (04 September 2017)

Lovely weekend away in a peaceful setting, hot tub was lovely, caravan was nice and clean, agree with other reviews it should not be advertised as a lodge as it is a caravan and the beds are a little uncomfortable, working in the same industry I know this, was really good value for money as tickets to the caves and attractions were included, restaurant prices reasonable but food was a bit standard, all staff were lovely,
Alan from Southampton (04 September 2017)

This was my first 7 day holiday in england since I was a child as we normally prefer to go abroad so I didn't know what to expect now being an adult with two boys aged 5 and 6. . I am now converted! we had the best holiday we have had in a long time. The weather probably had a lot to do with it with it being bank holiday weekend and it was glorious! the actual lodge itself was perfect, everything you could need is provided. I had a request early one morning for the hotel and they brought the required things up to our lodge within 5 minutes. Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. The hot tub really made the holiday for our boys they were in it at every opportunity. we had days out everyday because there are so many nearby attractions, I understand it may be a little more difficult if you don't drive to get out to these places so in that instance I wouldn't recommend it but for us it was perfectly located. The lodges are in a peaceful location despite being so close to wookey hole itself. When booking with the lodges you get a free entry ticket to wookey hole which is fab, really worth a visit. The whole family enjoyed it. For the evenings after 5.30pm (better for families with children) you could pop down to reception who would then radio through to the members of staff at the attraction itself and they would let you into parts of wookey hole to keep the kids entertained for a bit-free of charge. Which included an indoor large soft play area, old fashioned amusement arcades and my childrens favourite the mirror maze, all good fun. They also have a bar and restaurant for hotel guests, we used the bar and sat outside but never ate at the restaurant.
Laura from Birmingham (01 September 2017)

Great , can't wait to go back
Larraine from Suffolk (01 September 2017)

The free wifi was useless unless you stood by the relay box in the car park .we struggled to get a phone signal on any of the 3 phone networks we use.the caravans were tiny.we asked for a broken wooden spoon to be replaced on the first day and it was not replaced.the table was to small for 6 people in the caravan and only 4 stools to sit at it you could sit out side weather permitting.nowere to buy a newspaper or get supply's without a drive to wells about 5 miles away.
Rodney from Ilford (01 September 2017)

We had a lovely family holiday, especially loved the hot tub and outside area. it was a base where you could visit different areas such as wells, weston super mare, cheddar. the visit to the wookey hole caves was enjoyed by all. as the weather was hot/warm it was nice to try one of the 29 different kinds of ice cream each day. We have already booked for next year.
Vicki from Ross On Wye (01 September 2017)

Lovely break would definitely return couldn't fault anything.
Helen from Kingswinford West Midlands (28 August 2017)

Only criticism is that it was not pushchair friendly and we had a baby with us
Carol from Bournemouth (28 August 2017)

We had a fantastic stay here. The hot tub was amazing and the caravan was very clean and full of everything we needed and more. We are all missing the powerful shower, it is better than we have at home it is set in a very peaceful area which was what we was looking for however it doesn't really have anything around if you are looking for evening entertainment. I would definitely return to stay at mendip view. Family of 4 13 and 10 year old and we all had a brilliant time.
Donna from Romford (25 August 2017)

It's not suitable for children of aged 3&2 or even 6 because there's no play area for them except for in wookey hole which you had to pay on other days other than the free tickets you get. We spent 7 nights there and it's alright for my husband and I but not for the kids. We managed to to take them out(away from wookey hole & the lodges) to play. There's clark's village(a shopping outlet) not far from there with an outdoor play area! puxton park was brilliant, the kids loved it there. Restaurant was fab serving hot meals for adult at only £7.95 and kids at around & 3.5/£4.50. Anyway back to the lodges/caravan. There's no washing machine!! how can that be?! we're they not expecting people to stay long or with children?
Maria from Verwood (25 August 2017)

This was our second visit to mendip view. On the previous occasion we made the most of the local attractions and area. This time we were determined to relax and that's exactly what we did. Despite changeable weather, waking up to a lovely view of the mendip hills every day and being able to hop into the hot tub between showers was exactly what the doctor ordered.
Adrian from Lowestoft (21 August 2017)

Enjoyed staying in lodge and impressed with all facilities.
Robert from Frodsham Cheshire (18 August 2017)

Lovely caravan and setting. Great view of the mendip hills from your verandah and hot tub. Bedrooms are tiny though.
Customer 54 (18 August 2017)

Great chalet!
Thomas from West Molesey (11 August 2017)

Lovely place, just not enough to do there and too far from the coast for the children
Sharon from Staffordshire (11 August 2017)

Lovely place to stay, the caravan was comfortable and staff were really great. Decking and hot tub was lovely in the warm evenings. Only downside is no shop within the area to get basics from so had to drive into wells for the nearest shops. Wouldn't recommend for older children as not much for them to do.
Joanne from Farnborough (11 August 2017)

It was a caravan with hot tub on a lovely quiet site. It was clean and the hot tub was lovely. Staff were so friendly and helpful, hot tub all ready for use on arrival. Maybe a hook or 2 would have been useful for coats or towels and the caravans are small but we managed just fine. We were just a family of 4 in a 6 berth caravan though, but it was fine for us. we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.
Tammy from Harrogate (11 August 2017)

Lodge and hot tub nice but storage shortage in lodge for 5 people, maybe a site shop would help
Andrew (07 August 2017)

Lovely place to stay. With hot tub and entrance to wookey hole caves included (which is really good for kids). would have loved something to do in am evening, even just a play park. Our lodge was the smallest and even though it was 6 berth we had 4 people and we needed the extra bedroom to put the suitcases or else they would not have been enough room.
Diane (07 August 2017)

Was noisy at night with kids playing and screaming out the front of the lodges. . lodges were well equipped and very clean and very good for a central base.
Jo from Hampshire (07 August 2017)

Absolutely lovely lodge stayed in new platinum lodge and was perfect. . & the hot tub was amazing too. . the staff were so helpful and friendly also, and that made the holiday even more perfect. . went with my two girls aged 14 & 16 and they lived all of the week away we had too. . think it's a great base for visiting surrounding area and somewhere you can relax and chill in after an adventurous day out. . i'd highly recommend this.
Karen from Wellington /Telford (07 August 2017)

We enjoyed our stay and the facilities were very clean and of an exellent. Standard, the spa was lovely, our only criticism was people in the hotel could see. And we had rude comments made from children out playing (our son is disabled). so maybe board right across the back
Michael from Blackburn (04 August 2017)

Excellent facilities, lodge was lovely, had one night of noisy neighbors but staff delt with the issue
Customer 64 from Bala (04 August 2017)

Rooms and cupboards in rooms obv. Not meant for more than a 1 night stay... 6 beds but only 4 chairs to eat inside. Apart from that, very joyfull stay, very pleasant staff, very good meals (bkfst and dinner)
Francois from Ans, Belgium (31 July 2017)

A lovely setting and in a great location for touring the surrounding areas
Sue from Newcastle Upon Tyne (24 July 2017)

Fantastic location
Philip from Derby (24 July 2017)

Beautiful location and well placed for wells, glastonbury and surrounding area. Caravan / lodge was well appointed with many extras like a dishwasher. I am planning on returning as I was impressed with the site, lodge and area. Only draw back being that they do not do a saturday check in
Juiliana from Edinburgh (21 July 2017)

Really uncomfortable sofa sat on the floor most evenings. . really uncomfortable bed . no pictures of the other rooms on the website is decieving. . having stayed in other hoseasons lodges I was really disappointed this shouldn't be sold as a lodge it should be sold as a caravan with a hot tub
Melissa from Portsmouth (21 July 2017)

The description for this holiday is misleading as its not a lodge but a caravan which is nice if that's what we expected but as the web and booking site says it is a lodge with ensuite which it did not have and the toilet is very small. Just feel very strongly that we had booked a lodge but arrived at a caravan after traveling for 7 hours . please can this description for these caravans be corrected or there will be more disappointed customers. . I did say to staff about this and all they said was they will let the managers .know . which I felt we were just being ignored. This was not a cheap holiday but as I say if the description was correct I would have expected a caravan and would have been satisfied
William from Dunfermline (21 July 2017)

Perfect relaxing break
Dave (14 July 2017)

Amazing place, fantastic value for money. Beautiful and clean lodges. The free tickets to wookey hole were brilliant, especially for kids and the views from the lodge were gorgeous.
Kayleigh from Coventry (10 July 2017)

Great lodge in a great location, ideal for getting to cheddar gorge, longleat & bath
Darren from Essex (07 July 2017)

We all had a great time at wookey hole the lodge was spot on and the staff was fantastic and it was nice to get in the hot tub (which I must say was serviced every morning) after being out all day. The views are fantastic looking over the mendip hills. The bistro at the hotel is a nice place to have a meal and a drink but I think a bit over priced. We got free tickets to go in the wookey hole attractions there included in the booking but we was not told this at reception, it was that I saw some one mention it in a review so we asked at reception and got the tickets saving us £64 for the four of us. . the only real moan we had was that the patio area could be cleaner. We put towels on the railings to dry and when we brought them in there was spiders on the towels and when I looked underneath the railings there must have been about 30 spiders on each section, so I think these should be cleaned and sprayed every week. That`s it i`ve had my moan but we will certainly be coming back.
Nigel from Worksop (07 July 2017)

Had a very good time here at wookey hole. The lodge was very good the only downside the bedrooms which were a little on the small side. The views were great and the hot tub a good bonus. the lounge area was very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. overall a very good stay.
Gillian from Romford (03 July 2017)

We had a great peaceful time hotel staff very friendly and helpful the food in the restaurant was excellent and excellent value for money booking reference next year
Alexander from Newark-On-Trent (03 July 2017)

Location is beautiful, but had a few niggles with the lodge. we had a travel size kettle, hobs and oven didn't work that well, hot tub appeared dirty and there were too many spider webs making the place look a little unclean.
Hayley from Ipswich (26 June 2017)

We had a lovely week at wookey hole.
Michelle from Luton (23 June 2017)

Nice lodge, shame they are so close together. Way too many disclaimers to sign before holiday has even started. Nice hot tub. Average.
Sarah from Southampton (23 June 2017)

Excellent accommodation and very helpful staff, perfect base for seeing somerset.
Keith from Darwen (19 June 2017)

In principal, the "lodge" is fine, although the bedroom are very very small. If you are not spending much time there they are completely fine. . . the master bedroom has 1ft of space either side of the bed. In the twin rooms there is 1ft of space in between the single beds. Storage space not really adequate in the bedrooms but this is a reflection of 3 bedrooms being crammed into the space. . separated toilet is useful - although again very very small. No bath - just a shower unit in a separate room. . if you have the expectation that this is a luxury lodge - it isn't. It's standard with cramped bedrooms. . but if space is not required and not much time would be spent at the lodge i'd recommend it. . . sofa very very hard too!
Stephen from Crewe (19 June 2017)

Lovely surroundings and very peaceful with friendly helpful staff. A minor downfall is the privacy and these are really more like caravans than lodges as the space is very limited and cramped at times, not the greatest of beds (very flimsy), aside these, it wouldn't stop us visiting again at the right price.
Paul from Horsham (19 June 2017)

Lovely lodge, would be happy to stay again
Beverley from Whitstable (16 June 2017)

Nice and quiet location , bedrooms in lodge very small .
Karen from Sheerness (16 June 2017)

Fantastic holiday! few little problems in the lodge but nothing major, when reported to staff was dealt with the same day! food in the bistro at the main hotels was amazing, would stay again!
Rebecca from Abertillery (16 June 2017)

Great place and friendly helpful staff
Rob (12 June 2017)

The lodges were clean and well positioned with great views of the surrounding country side. We used the hot tub every evening, it was very private and couldn't be overlooked by the other lodges. It some ways it was too private as you couldn't sit in there and look at the lovely views. . . the lodges were a 2 minute walk to the wookey hole entrance. On our visit the tickets to the attraction were complimentary which was a great bonus. . the location was also great for trips out, western supermare is just 30mins away and has a great seafront.
Mark from Fareham (02 June 2017)

Overall it was a nice break. Decent views, location. . the double bed felt like it was going to collapse so only 1 on us slept in it. The hot tub was good but my only issue with it was that you could adjust the temperature of it. Which was a problem as it was too hot for our 21 month old child. The bistro..well I thought it was very pricey for what it is. The old waitress needed some lessons on people skills.
James from Telford (26 May 2017)

Beautiful place and fab staff. Did have an issue with a leaking roof which we reported and a handyman was out within minutes. However it wasn't rectified and carried on leaking directly over the cooker hob for the whole duration of our stay. Also was some kind of issue with the hot tub water but this was also rectified the following morning.
Bethan from Swansea (19 May 2017)

The lodge was very nice clean and tidy, the hot tub great. Not a lot do around the place, could do with a club house
Amanda from Camborne (19 May 2017)

The lodge was lovely but the staff made it perfect, I travel a lot and around the world and I have never met such friendly staff, I booked the break to take my disabled mum and elderly uncle who has learning disabilities. I knew it could be quite difficult but the staff just made it so easy. We can't wait to return.
Sarah from Ebbw Vale (15 May 2017)

Holiday apartment was great hotel restaurant was bad staff could not be bothered to seat us even though there were tables free so had to drive out for meal
Caroline from Ashford Kent (15 May 2017)

We enjoyed our stay very much, however the neighbours had used this facility as a working base, not on holiday, very noisy starting their vehicle at 6am and often leaving the engine idling for no less than 15 minutes before they drove off.
Brian from Buckingham (12 May 2017)

Great time lovely surrounding area plenty to do and hot tub perfect
Micheal from Nelson (08 May 2017)

Me and my fiancé loved it and are already looking at booking to go back
Rebecca from Croydon (08 May 2017)

Great location, great accomodation
Anne from Pudsey (05 May 2017)

Very enjoyable stay would definately return again
Susan from Rowley Regis (01 May 2017)

We had a wonderful time, the accommodation and scenery were beautiful. We have already booked again for next year.
Shaz from Gosport (01 May 2017)

Lovely place, nice surroundings, ideal location for a restful weekend. No shop on site meant a 2 mile drive for a pint of milk and a newspaper. Also privacy on hot tubs could be better, but overall a nice place.
Ian from Oldham (01 May 2017)

We stayed from monday-friday as a short break, and we had a lovely time. The lodge was lovely and new, all clean, the wifi was excellent . and the hot tub was a definate bonus. We also recieved free tickets to wookey hole which was a great day out.
Elysha from Christchurch (28 April 2017)

Lovely location and lodges. Staff at hotel rude
Catherine from Bognor Regis (24 April 2017)

Great location easy to go to different places
Veronica from South Wales (21 April 2017)

A great get away for myself and my boyfriend. The lodge was very big and had all the things you needed. It was great to relax in the hot tub.
Samuel from Hastings (31 March 2017)

Yet another great relaxing weekend break, clean and tidy lodges and excellent hot tub.
Mark from Wareham (27 March 2017)

Staff are horrendously rude no shop on site you really don't have much to do for a weekend stay always loud groups of men keeping you up all night not fun with kids also came at 7 am on our last day making loud noise changing the hot tub water we didn't have to leave until 10 but woke us up crack of dawn
Sherie (27 March 2017)

Fabulous break. the cabins are immaculate and fully equipped with everything you require. it was extremely peaceful and the hot tub was gorgeous to dip in!! one of the most relaxing holidays i've ever had.
Charlotte from Lee On The Solent (24 March 2017)

I enjoyed staying at mendip view, it was a birthday trip for my partner and kids, somewhere we had not been before and some time away from london. To be honest I did not realise it was in the middle of an attraction called wookey hole. It was very quiet and the lodge was very new and nice. Wookey hole is also about a 40 minute drive from burnham on sea beach and brean splash park, so a lot for the kids to do. Price was also good as we booked off season.
Helen (20 March 2017)

Had a lovely relaxing holiday, the views from the lodges were beautiful even with the weather being rubbish.
Sian from Bristol (20 March 2017)

Great break staff were amazing friendly and very helpful can't wait to return
Shelly from Yeovil (20 March 2017)

Lovely long weekend away, perfect location, nice lounge and kitchen area, rooms and bathroom are small, but, it is a caravan remember. The hot tub is lovely and hot!! nearly bath temperature, perfect on cold evenings. The only negative thing is the check in time, this is 4pm, by the time we had settled down felt like it was time for bed, other log cabins/caravans are around 2pm which would have made it better. Other than this, fantastic little trip away.
Joeseph from Kent (13 March 2017)

We had the most loveliest 4 nights at the mendip lodge, the hot tub was an added bonus and the bed was so comfortable, ever since we've been back home we've been wanting to be back
Nikita from Bexhill (10 March 2017)

Our family had a wonderful time the accommodation was beautiful along with stunning views it was clean and my children loved the hot tub and wookey hole attraction .
Adam from Tamworth (06 March 2017)

Booked a hottub lodge for a 3 night stay. Partner and i, my mum, 2 year old and baby. Amazing lodge, had absolutley everything you needed! plenty of storage , bedrooms are of a normal small caravan size but we weren't there to sit in the bedroom so no problems there. Hot tub was incredible, and peaceful surroundings. Didnt see or hear another soul! we went in the winter which was lovely but it also has an amazing private gated terrace with garden furniture which would be fab in the summer! lovely small city of wells close by to shop and sightsee it's so beautiful. Clarks villiage 25 mins away. I did not think much of the wookey hole attraction place atall. Very strange. But that is seperate to the lodge. Book it, you will love it . perfect peaceful relaxing break we were after! thanks mendip view
Evie from Truro (16 January 2017)

The location was excellent, hot tub was perfect . accommodation itself was lovely and had everything you needed... the only downside was the bed which was horrendous to sleep in giving us both bad backs and so we only ended up staying 2 nights instead of the 3 we had booked which was a real shame as everything else was lovely. Please get some decent mattresses and a bed that doesn't feel as if it's about to collapse on you as we would love to return!
Marie from York (16 January 2017)

Loved it! . staff fantastic, very helpful and we had the most enjoyable stay
Carrieanne (03 October 2016)

Very peaceful and quiet, accommodation first class and lovely helpful staff.
Angela from Walsall (26 September 2016)

A lovely lodge / static caravan. The hot tub was great, and very easy to use. Staff at the hotel could be a bit more friendly and helpful, but staff dealing with the lodge were great. Overall we had a very restful and pleasant week.
Paul from Lancing (23 September 2016)

A fantastic holiday in beautiful countryside. On the whole the lodge was extremely well equipped and comfortable. It was immaculately clean and I was very happy with the little extras such as toilet rolls and tea and coffee which were provided. . I would just like to point out that it would have been useful to have more coat hangers provided - there were only 3 each. This was a slight inconvenience as we were staying for one week and had plenty of clothes between us!!. the other point was I would like to have a bed side lamp. I found it difficult getting up to switch the main light out if I had been reading in bed. This was exacerbated by the fact there is very limited space between the double bed and the wall, particularly as I suffer from balance problems. However, this is not a major critism and it did not spoil my enjoyment of the holiday at all, just something I feel should be bought to your attention. The hot tub was an added luxury which my friend and I throughly enjoyed. The sight was very clean and set in a wonderful peaceful location. It was lovely to see all the wildlife around and the lovely views of the mendip hills. Much praise to all your wonderful staff at wookey hole. Without exception they were friendly, cheerful and always happy to help out with any queries we had. Well done for such a first class service. This was my first holiday in a number of years due to ill health and living on a reduced income having had to retire early. The fact that the lodge was so comfortable made it home from home and met my needs extremely well. . I will definitely be returning to wookey hole and will have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation to friends (please keep me informed of any special offers!). wishing well in the future with your fabulous accommodation. . with kind regards. Gaenor edwards
Gaenor from London (09 September 2016)

Could do use some sort of extra facilities such as a pool or games room or play area for the children.
Penny from Nottingham (09 September 2016)

Excellent accommodation, beautiful views. Close to lots of attractions. Would definitely stay here again.
Wesley (02 September 2016)

It was amazing we enjoyed it and my two year old was loving it we wish we stayed for longer
Claire from Market Deeping (29 August 2016)

We had a fine time and really enjoyed the locality! loved the caves and brilliant walks and thoroughly enjoyed wells. The mendip view accommodation was just right for us and it was in a peaceful location. Fell in love with the hot tub and would have brought it home if I could!
Stephen from Watford (26 August 2016)

Absolutely beautiful here! lodge was one of ten set at the back of the hotel in it's own secluded area. Everything you need is provided, full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, every utensil you need as well as towels and all bed linen, it felt like a real home from home. Lovely, peaceful view of the mendip hills and considering you are a stones throw from the major attraction of wookey hole caves, you can't hear a thing. Caves were a brilliant day and the very close city of wells is very enjoyable too. The highlight of these lodges is the amazing hot tub which is set in a screened area of your decking. Ready to go in as soon as you get there, easy to operate and amazing to have your own personal use of it any time of the day. Although my family and I had some days out we could have gladly stayed in this all day. Great seating area on the decking too.
Lesley from Liverpool (22 August 2016)

Wow! no other words need to be said! defiantly returning soon!
Lisa from Bridgend. South Wales (15 August 2016)

Brilliant holiday" lovely hotub" nice relaxing surroundings
Teresa from Wookey Hole (15 August 2016)

Excellent accommodation, very clean everything we needed. Lovely decking area with furniture with views. Hot tub fantastic lovely warm and clean we loved it. Friendly staff. Woo key hole indoor play area available in the evenings for something to do. You do have to travel quite far for other attractions. Would be 10 out of 10 but lacked a playpark for kids. Would be nice if there was a little play park on top of the hill instead of picnic benches. Would defoe go again but think a week might be a little long for us with the children with finding things for them to do.
Chris from Eastbourne (08 August 2016)

Didn't find lady on reception when checking in very welcoming. . nothing to do on site in the day unless in woo-key hole caves. After 5 you do get access to penny arcade & ball pit which our kids really enjoyed.
Kerry from Tamworth (05 August 2016)

We had a lovely week in a lodge. The hot tub added that little bit of luxury and was great to unwind in after a long day sightseeing. The lodge was very clean and the staff helpful. Would definitely return.
