Fantastic week away for half term with the kids, located well to visit many places and attractions without having to travel too far. Kids loved the fishing lakes on site and the caravan was neat, tidy and comfortable. Very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again!
Nikita (27 October 2017)

It makes a high reference to the fishing lakes, but the access for able bodied is poor and for disabled it is impossible.
Philip (21 October 2017)

Lovely caravan and a lovely site with friendly helpful staff
Rachel from Weymouth (06 October 2017)

I went to meadow lakes for a long weekend with a friend who had had a truly awful year and needed a break. It was a pleasant weekend but spoiled somewhat by the appalling weather! however, we made the best of it and as I know cornwall well ( I lived there for a long time in my youth) was able to make the most of the weekend. I liked the peaceful ambience of the place.
Elizabeth from Bishops Hull, Taunton (02 October 2017)

The caravan was fantastic, clean, comfortable and with a lovely view. however, there was a big problem with the internet which was unavailable even the paid service, and the free wifi was non existent. this caused major problems with our planning of the days, weather checks and receipt of emails. the staff have since told us they would have helped us with these things, but having internet available in the caravan would have made it a rating of 9.
Jadzia from Brandon (29 September 2017)

Only did 3 nights, caravan was very clean and had everything we needed. Water and heating was very hot. Lovely shower. we were staying at the end of september so pool closed. We had no children so didn't use child games room. café closed too.
Andrea from Dursley (25 September 2017)

Our holiday started with a warm welcome from the very helpful staff members. our caravan was clean and spacious with all the usual facilities. the holiday park was lovely, and there was convenient dog walking in the adjacent field where there were three fishing lakes.
Steve (22 September 2017)

The holiday got off to a bad start by being greeted by the staff member who asked us to sign a form accepting that we had read the terms and conditions, which we were then told we couldn't be supplied with because they had run out of copies. we were shown a map of our vans location, and given directions which did not match the layout of the site. we were told that we had to be given the staff keys as the 'customer' keys had gone missing. we were told that the name had changed of the van, and given keys 116. it then took 3 attempts to find the van as the name on the van was incorrect, it was not numbered, we were looking for 116 when it was actually supposed to be 16, found only by tracking that next door was 15. all this not helpful when very tired after an 8 hour drive to get there. . having reported that two lights in the main and 2nd bedroom were not working we were told they could not be fixed and would be replaced with new on an immediate order. They were not fixed by the time we left. the carbon monoxide detectors were still sitting in the kitchen cupboard and were not fixed in position. the tv aerial was not fixed to the van securely and failed to provide a decent signal and kept us awake with its knocking against the van in the slightest wind. staff did manage to remedy the noise after two attempts. All of these issues should not have been present in what we were told was a brand new van that appeared not to have been used before. the games room and laundry were run down and uninviting, with machines in the laundry room broken and out of service.
Ian from Laindon (16 September 2017)

Beautiful location and very good accommodation.not much entertainment on sight for the older generation but plenty of interesting places to visit locally.a very enjoyable stay and very polite staff.
Stephen from Buckfastleigh Devon (16 September 2017)

Very relaxing beautiful area
Nicholas from Wells (11 September 2017)

A nice site well kept with very helpful staff. The caravan we stayed in was best described as tired but was well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Tim from Manchester (09 September 2017)

A quiet short break was exactly what I wanted and it is exactly what I got.
John from Bexleyheath, Kent (08 September 2017)

Tardy decor. Rusty radiators. Paid for hot tub, the lid was torn and taped up. Polystyrene bits fell into tub out of the lid. Very disappointing for the money we spent. Sofa not very comfortable. No towels, washing up liquid, dish washing tablets supplied. Just doing everything too much on the cheap. We stayed a week and they mowed the lawns 4 days, very noisy. Hot tub lid should be much easier to move, very heavy and difficult.
Angie from Luton (08 September 2017)

Stayed the first week of september, everything was closing down for the season. the cafe only had pizza left nothing else. There is nothing to do in the park itself. Caravan was nice though
Matthew (08 September 2017)

A lovely location, very friendly staff, the kids loved the swimming pool, my husband loved the fishing, and a fantastic comfortable caravan with a great seating area outside on the decking.
Anna from Hertfordshire (04 September 2017)

Good central location for local attractions. Our lodge accommodation was very well maintained, spacious and well equipped. Would certainly return.
Philip from Cheltenham (04 September 2017)

Excellent park, friendly helpful staff.
Stacey from Crawley (02 September 2017)

Lovely site . caravan nice although dated . clean grounds . we went for the fishing but unfortunately the lakes are not stocked .we caught one teeny tiny fish. Lots of people fishing at the lakes and no catches ! no movement spotted in the lakes at all. such a shame as the lakes are beautiful .
Jen from S Wales (02 September 2017)

I didn't feel that the lodges had the correct equipment
Kathryn from Macclesfield (01 September 2017)

Had a very good time in cornwall. Especially the stay was very tidy and very close to all the attractions, one of the best holiday park to spend time with friends and family.
Rajeev from Crewe (28 August 2017)

Lovely resort will definitely be back
Charlotte from Brentwood (28 August 2017)

Very nice park set in the countryside which was nice and quiet. My boys loved the animals on site e.g donkey's goats guinea pigs and rabits. Caravan was excellent. We would definitely recomnend it
Robert from Oxford (26 August 2017)

Park it's self was nice games room could do with updating stayed in kestral caravan but would not value range caravan again as was falling to bits then to find out there getting rid of them end of season was annoyed as could have still fixed things while they owned them
Natalie (26 August 2017)

Very nice could do with a club house where visitors can go in the evenings
Alan from Stratford On Avon (25 August 2017)

Meadow lakes was a lovely place. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with them and will definitely be returning in the future.
Sally from Llanelli (19 August 2017)

Not enough entertain for children to do apart from that it's a lovely holiday place
Naomi from Leicestershire (19 August 2017)

We stayed in the luxury lodge with hot tube, loved the lodge cannot fault it, and the area so quite, staff really friendly, did feel some of the places like the pool area could do with a clean up looking a little tied, and the lodge on the outside could do with a lick of paint, our bench we couldn't sit on found it very old and tied, would prefer chairs as its a luxury lodge, other wise very good place will definitely return again. Also the hot tub was great but kept getting green moss floating,
Alison from Basingstoke (18 August 2017)

Beautiful setting and the accommodation was fantastic, clean & comfortable. . . the animals on site were a lovely addition too.
Philippa from Ipswich (18 August 2017)

Lovely park and settings. Animals a huge bonus
Michelle from Gillingham, Dorset (18 August 2017)

No activities for kids
Joshan from Cardiff (18 August 2017)

Really enjoyed our stay, staff were very welcoming and help with anything we asked. They also had great recommendations as it was our first time in cornwall. Caravan was very clean and had everything you would expect. The little shop had everything you may not have thought to bring. Wish we had booked longer.
Rachel from Peterborough (18 August 2017)

1 of the best sites I have been to, clean and tidy and nice and quiet of a night. Great!!
Danny from Kent (14 August 2017)

Lovely quiet park, perfect base for exploring cornwall. Basic but clean facilities and accommodation. Friendly helpful staff. Very competitive price.

Lovely place gorgeous caravan but too far away from coast for us
Lee from Sheffield (05 August 2017)

We enjoyed our stay and the caravan was very clean. Everything in the caravan worked. All staff were very helpful and friendly.
Alan from Watford (04 August 2017)

Relaxing place.location is perfect as it is in the middle of most of the tourist attraction areas.staff were pleasant and helpful.the holiday place is always clean and well maintained.
Cheryl from Manchester (04 August 2017)

Very nice place, not over crowded. Only a short drive to st austell.
Paul from Chippenham (04 August 2017)

Beautiful quiet setting and stunning views. Caravan was spotless and in easy reach of all the local attractions.
Vicky (28 July 2017)

Attractive, well kept holiday park with clean facilities and helpful staff. Location was excellent for exploring cornwall and we all had a great holiday.
Donna from Leicestershire (22 July 2017)

Wonderful place to stay, we just loved our caravan and the staff couldn,t have been more helpful.
Sally from Ballynahinch N.Ireland (22 July 2017)

The park itself was really beautiful, the lakes were lovely to walk round with our little dog. My concern was the caravan, although it was very clean, it felt very damp, bedding in particular, and our clothes on the wardrobe, due to the weather I suppose ( weather was not good) we had to leave two days early, because I could feel I was getting chesty. I would stay at the site again, but next time, in a chalet, they appear very nice. Staff were friendly, and helpful.
Amanda from Farnborough (22 July 2017)

This was our first holiday as a family and we are so glad we picked meadow lakes! we were greeted on our first day by chickens which were free roaming, my 1 year old daughter was delighted, they were very very friendly. . . we stayed in a cottage which was beautifully presented, clean, spacious and very modern. The travel cot & highchair we rented were all set up when we got there and were of great quality. . . the site itself was very big & had a variety of places to stay to suit every need, including multiple pitches for tents/caravans. It was lovely to walk around of an evening - there were lakes to walk around (and geese to encounter!) and animal pens to visit. . I cant stress enough what a great experience we had staying here, it was so laid back and quiet, it felt like we were off the grid, which is exactly what we wanted.
Amanda from Wirral (21 July 2017)

Nice enough cottage if a bit small. Site was basic, mostly for caravan and camping rather than lodges/cottages.
Chris from Newcastle (17 July 2017)

Lovely place but shop closed at 6 and there was nothing close by
Maureen from Edinburgh (17 July 2017)

Brilliant caravan excellent value for money. Lovely area
Richard from Dumfries (15 July 2017)

Place and staff was fine , caravan dated and shabby, torn seats on settees , t.v to small , shower flooded dining area, kitchen equipment inadequate, not even a mug for a cup of tea , not very clean on arrival , check the dome in the kitchen for cobwebs !!
Stephen from Wolverhampton (15 July 2017)

Immaculately clean modern static caravan. Spacious shower room and ensuite. Lots of room could quite happily stay inside if there was nothing to do which unfortunately there is, so didnt spend all day inside! good working facilities cooker, sink, shower. Came with cleaning equipment for he kitchen and a couple of loo rolls which was a bonus as we forgot!
Matthew from Southampton (14 July 2017)

Had a fabulous monday - friday break, lovely caravan, spotlessly clean, very well equipped. Site was lovely very well maintained. I can't wait for my next visit.
Tracey from Nottingham (14 July 2017)

Great location ideal base for sight seeing very clean llvely outdoor pool and staff were vert helpful
Paul from Darlington (08 July 2017)

In a word awesome. . . can't wait to go back next summer
Jeanette from Dunstable (08 July 2017)

The place was lovely , clean and tidy and staff very helpful. The location is really good.the only negative was the beds, the mattress was old and you can feel the springs, also the quilts need renewing.
Deborah from Barnstaple Devon (07 July 2017)

Really pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings in a well equipped, clean and comfortable caravan. The site was well set out affording privacy and plenty of space between lodges, caravans and tent pitches. Most impressed with the outdoor pool.
Amanda from Exeter (03 July 2017)

Caravan was lovely with a great view of countryside. we were just disappointed as it had been described as having a fridge and freezer...when in reality it was just an ice box in the fridge. (not sure how a family of 6 would cope with this if they were self catering). site was peaceful and well situated for exploring the surrounding area.
Jane from High Wycombe (01 July 2017)

Caravan could have been better windows and doors i'll fired would have liked better choice of food ln cafe had to go out every evening for food but overall very nice will stay again
Mrs M from Sittlngbourne (01 July 2017)

Caravan was good. And hospitality was warm and friendly. But the café didn't have much choice to our liking. And the internet had a bad reception.
Hendrik (30 June 2017)

Nice clean caravan great views comfortable bed stayed here twice now there was even a hedgehog nearby bats and buzzards to watch
John from Ely Cambs (24 June 2017)

This is a great base for exploring the local area and was very peaceful and picturesque during our stay.
Rebecca (24 June 2017)

We had a beautiful holiday exactly what we both needed .. the staff were amazing...id deffo go back
Amy from Halesowen (24 June 2017)

Given the wrong accommodation and had a few issues while we were there with the gas and tv and found the staff on reception very unhelpful. The staff would only move us if the tv could not be fixed even though we were in the wrong caravan in the first place.
Philip from Codsham (23 June 2017)

Loved it just I got sick so had to go home early but other wise was great ( 1 problem was the noise of the swimming pool pump at night hubbie just couldn't sleep). but other wise was really lovely ppl where lovely and the place was so lovely and very quite.
Shirley from Chard Somerset (23 June 2017)

Came here as a couple for a week away!! lovely setting, with some beautiful views and lovely walks. 4miles from st austell which has literally everything you need. Caravan was lovely! bed was so comfy. Shower was great!! ( power shower) and many laughs to be had with the ponies!! overall a lovely week! thank you!!!
Stephan (09 June 2017)

A beautiful place to stay. Very tranquil and relaxing
Sabeana from Wiltshire (03 June 2017)

The water stopped working in the morning on two occasions, but the situation was rectified fairly quickly. The caravan looked tired and had dead flies under the seat covers. The cooker dials were broken and came off easily.
Ec from Orpington (03 June 2017)

The holiday park was great for children, with lots of space and two playgrounds. However, for the adult there really isn't anything to do. The restaurant only opens between 5pm and 9pm serving standard 'junk' food of burgers and pizza. No space inside to sit, not really somewhere you could eat an evening meal. Shop on site had limited stock with almost nothing for vegetarians. The website paints a really good picture of this park but it was quite disappointing. Our caravan - skylark range - had a broken toilet seat and a leaking bathroom sink which meant we had to wash in the kitchen. I would recommend taking your own bedding as what is provided is poor quality. Good location for visiting the tourist attractions (eden project is great). overall, ok place to stay if you have lots of plans and won't really be there.
Faye (02 June 2017)

I have stayed at meadow lakes previoulsy on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed my stay
Mary from Walsall (29 May 2017)

We enjoyed our stay at meadow lakes and would stay again.
Rose from Falmouth (29 May 2017)

Do not stay in woodpecker shower is not clean and plastic trim is hanging off and sharp, bed not suitable for disabled
Lesley from Croydon (27 May 2017)

A quiet site - which was what we wanted. The accommodation was beautifully presented and immaculate. The grounds very well cared for. Very close to both eden project and lost gardens of heligan. Would definitely stay again.
Margaret from Derby (26 May 2017)

Excellent.
Hillary (20 May 2017)

Clean, quiet, lovely scenery and walks round lakes. loved it.
Cynthia from Weston Supermare (12 May 2017)

A wonderful stay in a gorgeous location. Close to st. Austell and truro with easy links to other towns. A nice caravan and a quiet location. Thanks for having us. Shame it rained on us :(
Joe from Chippenham (01 May 2017)

Caravan was very dated and tired. Park itself could be very good if it was tided up a bit.
Geoff from North Wales (01 May 2017)

Caravan site is basic but we liked that. No staff around which would have been reassuring to know someone was around. Swimming pool is small and only open a few months a year. If you want somewhere basic to get away too then this is it!
Lisa from Somerset (24 April 2017)

A small, quiet site in a lovely calm setting. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful.
Karen from Gloucester (22 April 2017)

There are better locations for the same money, but the park was clean and well kept, and staffed by friendly helpful individuals.
John from Bristol (21 April 2017)

We loved the location, the site was quiet, clean but with good facilities. The dog walking area and being able to venture down to the lakes for an early morning stroll was beautiful. The caravan was clean and comfortable with everything you need.
Sue from Wareham (21 April 2017)

Fantastic easter time. I'll be back!!!
Beni (17 April 2017)

Very peaceful and relaxing time. Site very clean and tidy.
James from Glasgow (14 April 2017)

Caravan was lovely however the park itself just seemed unfinished or in disrepair. Only one swing available and it was broken, rubble and metal artefacts underneath the stairs of the caravan which were open. Of 4 fishing lakes advertised only 2 maybe even 1 were useable.
Tammy from Salisbury (14 April 2017)

Great caravan park! good location for the lost gardens of heligan, mevaggissey and charlestown. Thoroughly enjoyable holiday. Staff on site were very helpful.
Caroline from Cardiff (14 April 2017)

Could not fault caravan but site shut down after 4;30 no cafe till may but that would have shut down at same time
Andy from Castle Donington (10 April 2017)

This is an absolutely brilliant park if you just want to get away from everything for a week. . it's up a really quiet country lane, and then quite a long drive way from that lane to the park, so no road noise at all. . the layout of the park is not at all like most holiday parks - instead of row after row of holiday homes, everything is mixed up, so you have tourers in with static caravans, mixed with lodges, cottages and pods. . . there is hardly any entertainment, which again is great if you want to get away from it all - there is a games room, which is an old converted barn which houses a basic pool table, table tennis, air hockey and very basic wooden bowling alley - doesn't sound much, but the bowling alley kept a 9 and 10 year old perfectly happy for a good hour. there is a also a small toddlers room with a few bits for toddlers - again, not much, so it won't keep you there all day, but to be honest, if you come here, that's not going to be the sort of thing you're after anyway. . there is also an out door swimming pool, although that was closed during our visit in april - I think it opens mid-may. . there is a small but extremely well stocked shop which opens for a few hours during the day. . . all of the staff that we met were extremely friendly and happy to stand a chat, and often remembered conversations from earlier in the week, which I think is always a good sign!. . if you're after a daily fix of the outside world, wi-fi is only available in the office/shop, play room areas, and even then, on the couple of occasions we used it, we found it to be quite slow. likewise, the phone signal itself is pretty ropey - but once again, that's what makes this such a great part for getting away from the world for a few days. . a tip if you want a nice breakfast - the lost gardens of heligan are only about 10 minutes drive away cross country, and you can go in their cafe without paying to go in to the actual gardens. . we would highly recommend the park, and will be going back next year.
David from Milton Keynes (08 April 2017)

The location was perfect to see he sights of cornwall
Michael from Alsager (08 April 2017)

Very pleasant! well located to make travel quick and easy! the cabin itself was really nice, everything we needed for the week was in there already! the only thing we weren't keen on was that the mattress was far too soft!
Nathan from Wiltshire (07 April 2017)

Lovely peaceful and quiet site. Perfectly located for visiting many of cornwalls attractions.
Customer 87 from Braintree (24 September 2016)

We booked for a week but left early after having to go to the doctors for the amount of bites we had from being in our caravan. Nice place but old, smelly and full of flees.
Pippa from Plymouth (23 September 2016)

Would like to seen the cafe open but overall it was great and would go there again
Brian from Penpedairheol (17 September 2016)

Excelent site and staff very helpful.
David from Scunthorpe (17 September 2016)

A very peaceful site with an excellent dog walking field for our dogs, great views of the surrounding countryside, facilities adequate, petting area for children was a good idea, lack of site club house was disappointing as nearest pub just over 1 mile away. Overall a clean and tidy site and we enjoyed our stay, thanks
Nik from Stafford (09 September 2016)

Had a lovely first visit, was so relaxing and peaceful, staff were always happy and helpful,it was very clean witch is a big plus for me,as we run a pub we just wanted somewhere to go and unwind we made the right choice, definitely be going back soon,
Zoe from Shropshire (09 September 2016)

Really peaceful the caravan was a bit run down but overall lovely place
Joanne from Rotherham (03 September 2016)

What it lacks in facilities for example indoor pool, structured activities for children . , the location and staff are superb. I would stay again however we don't have young children anymore.
Shaun from Nottingham (03 September 2016)

Caravan not the best had to buy sweeping brush and air freshener freezer compartment broken in fridge
Sharynn from Durham (03 September 2016)

The facilities, including provision for dog owners were very good.
Keith from Lowestoft (03 September 2016)

Had a great time easy reach for places to visit fishing was enjoyed by other half caught some nice carp
Margarett from Kingsteignton (03 September 2016)

No where near anything. The steps to the caravan are made from wood which resulted in my dog falling down them once it had rained. No pub on site or walk if surname no evening entertainment or arcade. 30-40 minute drive to get most places. Cafe didn't have much option as they said it was end of season the next day ( we were there for another 4) no internet signal or wifi.
Elizabeth from Kirkby In Ashfield (03 September 2016)

Fantastic holiday with my husband and 2 young children. lovely site and friendly staff . so much to see and do in cornwall. brilliant break away at the end of august.
Gemma from Oswaldtwistle (02 September 2016)

We had a lovely time. Staff were very friendly. Only thing I would say is the play barn needs a little tlc and updating slightly but apart from that it's a great place.
Claire from Totnes (02 September 2016)

When we came in august the caravan we had was in a very poor state and it had an awful smell that wouldnt go away, so mandy very kindly moved us., we came back in oct, but on arrival the reception was closed. Couldnt get through on ur phones and nobody was around to help. We waited a full hour in the cold play room, I had 2 young girls, I got them a blanket and resided ourselves to be sleeping in the playroom for the night untill some one came along. wasnt pleased to say the least. Its wasnt untill my husband bang on the window of the shop when a warden from the caravan opposite came out, smelling of beer and telling us he was on holiday , but he did give us the key to the caravan.
Joanne (27 August 2016)

Lovely holiday park! great for families with young children. Very helpful staff! clean accommodation, pool and grounds.
Donna from Hook (15 August 2016)

We enjoyed staying at meadow lakes holiday park.
Shelley from Nottingham (13 August 2016)

Gorgeous place to stay , really friendly, hot tub was a fantastic extra
Helen from Waterloovile (13 August 2016)

Excellent
Katie from East Sussex (12 August 2016)

For us it was perfect base as visiting relatives prob not suitable for teenagers but good for younger kids would stay again very friendly helpful staff
Mark from Scarborough (12 August 2016)

Meadow lakes is a beautiful site. We really liked the surroundings. It has a dog walking field and a small lake for fishing and is quiet. . . it's ideal in its location to st austell. we d stay again but not in the pet caravans. They were very dated, a little pongy and had a few faults for example the sofa had a repair done to it which made it unusable. it's a shame that dog owners have to sacrifice good accommodation but this seems to be the case not just at meadow lakes but also other places. . . therefore, for us the bottom line is, great site shame about the pet friendly caravan we stayed in.
Lotty from North Yorkshire (12 August 2016)

Suited our needs perfectly as a base.
Kelly from Southampton (12 August 2016)

Luvly friendly staff. Nice park to relax and base for travel
Jackie (05 August 2016)

The cottage was beautiful, staff were very friendly and the site was very clean and peaceful. would definitely go back.
Katie (05 August 2016)

Lovely friendly staff. Clean public areas. Immaculate accommodation. Good location
Anna (05 August 2016)

Short stay, but very nice!!
Coen (01 August 2016)

Lovely quiet holiday site. Wouldn't want to stay longer than a few days because it's in the middle of nowhere, has no bar, a very limited cafe and a very expensive mini mart. No local hostelry either, unless someone wants to drive. It would be nice if there was a bar for those staying to have a drink in the evenings without needing to worry about buying it in or going out. . the grounds are perfect for quiet walks and doing nothing. Lovely fishing lakes too; but if you want anything more you'd best book elsewhere. . unfortunately, our caravan had seen better days. The shower room floor was being held up from underneath the caravan. Without this we would have fallen through as very damp and shower cubicle leaking onto the floor. The put me up bed in the living room was also in a poor state with a distinct smell of damp and a filthy dirty mattress. My husband and I opted to sleep in single beds rather than risk it!. apart from this, the caravan was ok for what we needed it for. We hadn't planned to watch tv. Lucky really, because the reception is virtually non existent and absolutely no internet connection anywhere in the park despite what is advertised. We expected much m ore than we got bearing in mind what we had paid for a 3 day weekend.
Angela from Kent (01 August 2016)

It was like going back in time. They should concentrate on one thing rather than being rubbish at loads.
Matthew from Barnsley (30 July 2016)

Brilliant.
Craig from Wednesbury (29 July 2016)

We had a great week which could have been spoiled (if we let it) by the quality and condition of the van we booked
John from Ayrshire (16 July 2016)

Lovely place lovely location.
Guenther from Dingwall Scotland (16 July 2016)

Fantastic caravan with beautiful views. A nice quiet park just what we wanted. Ideal for touring cornwall.
Sandie (16 July 2016)

Enjoyed our two week stay at the park. It was our forth stay there and already booked for next year. It's an ideal base for seeing both coasts of cornwall.
Darren from Stoke-On-Trent (16 July 2016)

Had a great time. Only downfall would be that there isn't any evening entertainment for the children.
Elisha (15 July 2016)

We enjoyed our time at the holiday park which was pretty quiet and peaceful considering we understood all the caravans were fully booked. Internet access was limited but that isn't a deal breaker for me.
Deborah from Adelaide (11 July 2016)

My mum and I had a wonderful time in st austell the caravan was slightly out dated but we got what we paid for, the surrounding area was beautiful but the park could have been better if it had a club house there or a better place to eat
Jade from Bedford (09 July 2016)

Nice, clean accommodation. Helpful staff and lovely surroundings
Anita from Northampton (09 July 2016)

Enjoyed our stay, nice and peaceful site. Just wished the local pubs were a bit closer!
Johnb from Essex (09 July 2016)

In general we were well satisfied with the accommodation. The main disappointment was that during a three week stay the cleaners never came in. Also we weren't offered a change of bedding. When we asked we were given clean bedding to change ourselves.
Frank from Washington (02 July 2016)

Fantastic location close to the eden project and halligen gardens and some very nice restaurants.
Zemanthia from Southampton (27 June 2016)

Unfortunately it rained 12days out of 14. Not the parks fault. Would of liked a south facing patio, if the sun had shone.
Neil from Southampton (25 June 2016)

All the facilities were not available to me whilst I is was there. The cafe was closed due to staffing problems and I was unable to use the pool as no one else was around.these were the 2 main reason I chose that particular park. But the staff were very helpful and friendly.
Anne-Marie from Telford (25 June 2016)

Peacful relaxing holiday. Comfy clean cottage.lovely to see free range chckens roaming about. Staff at reception helpful and polite. Husband enjoyed the fishing most days. Would consider this holiday destination again.
Andrew from Southampton (25 June 2016)

Site is nice and well tended. Quiet site ideal to get away from it all. 5 fishing lakes to walk around and animals for the kids. Quiet well situated - about 4 miles from st austell and 11 to mevagissey. . the caravan was dissapointing though - all are only 10 ft wide and the lower priced ones at least are old and tired. The one we stayed in - swallow - had a rose award - for 2004 so was very dated now and showed its age internally. To add to the shock on arriving the caravan stank of dog - which took 3 days to clear. We didin't ask for another as 1. There is not a great range and most looked occupied. 2. They all have a lot of steps up into them and with the one we had there were less than most. 3. Didn't report it as we didn't want chemical sprays used to mask the odour. . the site changed hands fairly recently and there is a lot of indications of ongoing work being done so there should be improvements by the time you read this review.
Dennis (18 June 2016)

We booked a 5day stay here and really enjoyed it wonderful surrounding and very clean accommodation will definitely be back again
Michael from Wiltshire (17 June 2016)

Nice clean site the directions to the site were very good
Raymond from Barnsley S Yorks (11 June 2016)

A lovely site, chosen specifically for the countryside setting and also the closeness to lots of gardens that we wanted to visit. Great for wildlife, with nesting swallows , sparrows and house martins. The fishing lakes were good for bats, as were the fields around the site. . good for evening walks around the lakes and fields, and there was a designated field for dogs to exercise in. The views were lovely as the site was near the top of a hill. The park was well signed from the main road and access was easy. . we didn't use the facilities as we used the park as somewhere to explore from, but there was a swimming pool, café, children's play areas and some animals in a pets corner.
Irene from Kingston Seymour, North Somerset (11 June 2016)

Bring back the chuck wagon , the cosy cafe to small and the range of food poor
Raymond from Somerset (04 June 2016)

Excellent location short drive to several beaches.family friendly.clean tidy accomadation.staff extremely friendly and helpful
Sarah from Ipswich (04 June 2016)

Park is beautiful and staff couldn't be more helpful. Only real minus is lack of wi-fi in accommodation but that could be due to location. Wi fi available in communal areas but inconsistent signal. But will definitely return next year. Peaceful, great upkeep and amazing views. Good location for visiting anywhere in cornwall. We had an amazing time!
Jessica from Salisbury (04 June 2016)

Not much to do for children when weather not very good
Paula from Milton Keynes (03 June 2016)

Wonderful place. Would stay again tomorrow.
Malgorzata (03 June 2016)

The site was unfinished when we arrived. We had to walk over mud to get into the caravan, which resulted in the caravan becoming dirty. the next day patio slabs were put down which improved the situation somewhat. children's play area also still under development. . . fridge shelf broken so milk dripped. last person's milk had also dripped and still left on the floor. . we were not told that we needed to book to use the swimming pool and so when we tried to use it we couldn't and all remaining slots had been booked for the day. . I thought the price was expensive for the experience we got. local area was lovely though.
Amy from Bristol (30 May 2016)

We had an issue with building going on next to our caravan and so we left our holiday early. we have been offered a free return holiday next year and so the issue has been resolved as far as we are concerned.
Russ from Salisbury (28 May 2016)

Went the last week in may and most of the facilities were closed we were a week before the season started , the site was fine the fishing was fine but the entertainment was not as expected .
Ann from Redditch (28 May 2016)

A nice peaceful setting with beautiful views from the lodge and good fishing on site, handily placed for touring cornwall.
Michael from Nottingham (21 May 2016)

We have been staying at meadowlakes every year since 2009. The accommodation is spotless and a real home from home! it is central to anywhere in cornwall and if you don't want to go out the park is great to just relax ! I look forward to visiting again next year.
Glynis from Tenterden (21 May 2016)

No shelves in door of fridge so a problem with milk bottles. blinds (venetian) were of so poor quality that they were buckled. No brush and pan which would have been useful. A few cushions in the lounge were needed. Handle of kitchen knife kept falling off and had to be replaced so kitchen utensils could not have been checked before we moved in. Apart from these few things, we enjoyed our holiday and we have stayed at this site a few times before so we are satisfied with the site but attention to the above "complaints" could have made our stay better. we hope to book the same caravan next year but doubt whether these things will have been rectified.
Kingsley from Honiton (21 May 2016)

It was wonderful to have the hot tub on when we arrived after a long tiring journey. very quiet & peaceful location. disappointed the indoor pool was not open until the week after we left. . . if you want to just chill out this is ideal, lodge was comfortable & clean - equipped with just enough kitchen equipment to cook a simple meal. . the shop had run out of bread on the tuesday morning, but luckily we had brought cereal with us. staff on reception / shop v. Helpful & friendly.
Customer 145 (20 May 2016)

Gorgeous location with plenty of amenities. Could only suggest more and better wifi.
Kayleigh from Newcastle Upon Tyne (16 May 2016)

The site was great and very lovely fishing lakes are very good as well as the location easy to get to and from where you need to go. Caravan was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Gylla from Bristol (14 May 2016)

Swimming pool closed & coffee shop closed we were not told they would be shut ,caravan was clean ,fishing lakes were nice to walk round we did not fish on the lakes, the views were great & the weather was very good but would not go back.
Amanda from Dorset (14 May 2016)

Staff really friendly. Site very tidy and well organised. Even the chickens were really friendly!!
Leonard from Yate, South Glos (13 May 2016)

Everything you need within the lodge but as we came out of season, the swimming pool was not available along with some of the other facilities. Well worth the price for our holiday in may. It was a real shame that the wifi was only available in one room and this was very poor.
Sarah from Deebyshire (13 May 2016)
