Great holiday for family's and parties
Bruce from Birmingham (27 October 2017)

Excellent, will be booking again next year!
Carl (20 October 2017)

We booked 5 lodges for our wedding weekend for us and our wedding party to stay in. The staff were very helpful and answered all of questions in the lead up to the stay and then did everything they could to make sure that the morning of the wedding was stress free. The lodges are in a lovely location, not too close to each other and equipped with everything you could need. Lots of our wedding party commented that it was a great setting for the weekend and it was the icing on the cake for us.
Alice from London (16 October 2017)

2nd year here for a girls relaxing weekend- 3rd year booked while we were there! staff are a credit to their boss. Polite, friendly and helpful. Site is outstanding as are the lodges
Claire from Kent (16 October 2017)

Lodge very clean and lovely . settee a little tired so uncomfortable but the only downside. hot tub a real bonus. Really enjoyed our stay. Not far from winchester so a bonus too .
Susan from Sevenoaks (02 October 2017)

Was lovely only things that could be improved is parking should be available next to lodge and would of liked to have a door that opens up onto hot tub so didnt have to walk round outside of lodge I would definitely come back lovely lodge and setting
Paul from Mildenhall (02 October 2017)

We had a lovely time. The lodge was well thought out and very comfortable.
Trevor from Reading (29 September 2017)

We had a great time. Only problem was a sulphur type smell which was a bit off putting
Sandra (29 September 2017)

Had an amazing weekend, the lodge was perfect making it even better with the hot tub. The kids and adults enjoyed all the activities they had to offer, we would definitely go again.
Margaret from Hampshire (25 September 2017)

We were expecting a romantic hot tub break, we didn't get one. The fact that you must request from the lodges offices to get in prior to 16.00 hrs or leave at the end of your stay after 10.00 hrs, isn't on their website as far as we could see, so the first and last days of our five day break were lost and we ended up with a three day break (although we paid for five). nor is the fact that the lodges are actually in the activity center, or that the path to the archery/quad biking activity field runs right between the lodges also isn't on the website. The hot tub wasn't hot for two days because of poor management/maintenance and the road in and out needs a four wheel drive because of the large holes. If I had a young family it would be a great place to go. But for adults without children or for couples I would avoid it and look elsewhere.
Raymond (22 September 2017)

The advertised restaurant. Not open passed 5.30pm. Bit of a cafe really. . not what we expected
Gary (18 September 2017)

Beautiful lodge in a quiet location. Staff very helpful, requests dealt with quickly.
Vj from Cambridge (18 September 2017)

The road on site needs repairing. Their was noise from a wedding one night ,not good when you have children. . overall though a very enjoyable stay. Would go again
Rachael from Nottingham (15 September 2017)

The lodges were lovely they had a lovely decor and the hot tub was fantastic however there are 6 or 7 of them situated on the activity centre site. There is a cafe/bistro but this closes at 5pm the latest. There is nowhere within walking distance to walk to with children as the marwell hotel is over a mile away with no footpath on the roads. Also there was a sewage issue that we smelt walking to and from the cars every day which was rancid. It actually made us all gag. I did mention it to two separate members of staff but they just brushed it off. It was coming from the toilet block adjacent to the activity centre. If you were using it as just a base and were happy to drive everywhere it would be great but as two family's with 5 months old the location made it a bit awkward for us.
Gemma (08 September 2017)

We had a nice break as a couple, the hot tub, spa bath and sauna was very nice and clean. The staff were also very friendly and happy to help, over and above when giving guidance on places to go for dinner. Dinner was one of the problems - you have to go off site for food if you didn't want to cook yourself and nothing was in walking distance. We booked a taxi for one night to the local pub which cost £24 for a return. The pub was about a 10 minute drive away but as it was our anniversary we decided we both wanted to celebrate, plus some of the taxi firms we called couldn't do the pick up as they were not in the area despite being listed to use in the lodge manual. Also when staying for a week it would be better to have a towel change as the towels needed refreshing, we took our own for the hot tub so used them at the end of the week and I washed a hand towel. Also the floors in the lodges could have done with a good scrub, I mopped the bathroom one but not very successfully as there was no bucket. Small things really to improve that wouldn't take too much and we still had a relaxing holiday.
Michelle from Essex (08 September 2017)

The lodge was lovely, a perfect size for our family and very clean. Our children were too small for the activities but loved the soft play. . I felt the site was a bit too quiet for us during the evening and with two small children it was quite a car ride to eat out, so often ended up saying in the lodge all night. . a good location for places to visit and use as a base.
Jade from North Shields (01 September 2017)

We stayed in typhoon 1 double bedroom lodge. We was not disappointed as the sauna, jacuzzi bath and hot tub were magnificent. The staff are very friendly and always helpful. Perfect holiday for relaxing, even having a picnic on the grassed areas of the lodge. However please ignore all these positive comments as we don't want too many people knowing how good it is. Then we would have trouble booking :-). having said that, book early to avoid disappointment.
Eamonn (28 August 2017)

Marwell lodges are a lovely, clean, tidy and a great size (9 of stayed in lancaster lodge). be prepared to travel if you want to see any sites. Overall a good and pleasant stay, the hot tub was a great hit.
Andy from Worcestershire (25 August 2017)

A lovely lodge (lancaster - sleeps 10) which was beautiful and modern. All of the staff were helpful - especially when we asked for things e.g. More towels, help fixing the wifi. The on-site facilities were good - lovely indoors soft play centre for the kids on rainy days, a big park with zip wire and trampoline etc.. only negatives from our point of view were that you couldn't park your car near to the lodge so had to instead load/unload and then move to a car park - a bit of a pain at 8 months pregnant, with a toddler too and elderly parents in tow who had recently had a major operation. The lodge also although saying sleeps 10 only had 8 chairs at the dining table etc.. and would have been very comfortable for 8 but not sure about 10. Especially if it was all adults. Finally the location, although beautiful and with lots of interesting things nearby e.g. The zoo, being rural meant the advertised wi-fi was very hit and miss. We would return as loved the area and the lodge was very nice.
Amy from Nottinghamshire (14 August 2017)

Lovely lodges with hot tubs, fab serene location. No facilities on site for essentials such as milk etc which can be a pain as it's a few miles to the nearest supermarket, however you are given a starter pack of a pint of milk, tea, coffee & one bottle of local beer. activities on site are for 8 years+ with a soft play area for younger kids. Car is essential if you want to see local attractions although marwell zoo is in walking distance the road is very busy to get to it.
Sarah from Swansea (11 August 2017)

Fantastic lodge, great staff, marwell activity centre a hit with my kids, lovely lodges in great location. . only thing I would fault is internet, needs to be much better for rainy days and also the to channels kept dropping out!
Andrea from Woodford (07 August 2017)

Great holiday, thank you.
Elizabeth from Canterbury (28 July 2017)

Excellent (despite the appalling british weather!)
Zoe (24 July 2017)

7 ladies on 50th birthday weekend, lovely luxurious lodge, we all loved the hot tub
Karen from Southampton (24 July 2017)

We stayed for the week and found the spitfire lodge to be great, well furnished for our needs and clean all round. No complaints just had a really good stay at marwell lodges. Well happy
Andrew from Burntisland Fife (24 July 2017)

We come every year as part of a mum's getaway. We have already booked to come back and will continue to do so. . only thing I would suggest is an earlier check in, 4pm is just too late.
Tracy from Bucks (17 July 2017)

Was a great place to stay, only real downside was a travel to the nearest shop plus couldn't do as many activities as we'd have liked as there really wasn't enough discount for patrons staying onsite. Beautiful lodge though abd really comfy
Wayne from Enniskillen (14 July 2017)

We booked the lancaster lodge for 8 people & I was pleasantly surprised. the bedrooms are a bit on the small side but the rest of the lodge had ample space & the creme de la creme is the spacious balcony & 8 seater hot tub overlooking countryside - stunning.
Jo from Cornwall (14 July 2017)

The lodge suited our needs, especially use of the hot tub. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. There were several broken or damaged kitchen utensils. We were not able to take part in any activities, although being invited to by the literature in the lodge. We were told all the activities were booked up previously. We didn't know before arriving that we might have been able to take part in activities. There were no areas for walking as they were all cordoned off, including in the evenings. One lady allowed us to walk to the lake as she saw us wandering around.
Rosalyn (10 July 2017)

Only one complaint as had members of party with limited mobility couldnt keep car in space next to lodge,
Ann from Chard (10 July 2017)

Nicest lodge on site right at the back complete privacy on your patio area. Stunning view. Peaceful and tranquile, I came here with my children amd husband to have a relaxing week after my operation and it was just that very relaxing. Absolutely loved it. The patio area is huge hot tub was very big the bbq was great we used it most days. The lodge was very clean fully equipped even a washing machine and dishwasher. Stunning lodge comfortable and homely. There is a park and a little indoor play area for kids onsite, my kids and husband also used marwell hotel swimming pool which is included. Can't recommend this lodge enough it was perfect for our relaxing gateway.
Fran from Southampton (07 July 2017)

After the shock of realising i'd booked next to an activity centre enjoyed a thoroughly pleasant break. staff extremely helpful & well organised. the youngsters activities were also pleasant to hear. nice to know youngsters can also get away & enjoy themselves.
Julie from Leicester (30 June 2017)

Lovely location and friendly
Jane from North Devon (30 June 2017)

It was brilliant! would happily return for another weekend away
Rebecca from Wallington (26 June 2017)

Very spacious, clean well maintained lodge
Andrew from Hull (23 June 2017)

This was a lovely lodges a bit on the small size . a nice idea to have gas bbq at all the lodges . it would have been nice to have a map of where you could walk around the site lots of places you could not walk .which was understandable due to activity.
Julie from Wiltshire (16 June 2017)

Really enjoyed the lodge and facilities , the staff are lovely and very helpful , we can recommend marwell lodges for a lovely relaxing break.
Rick from Southend On Sea (02 June 2017)

The lodge was well appointed but the bedrooms were very warm and we couldn't turn off the heated towel rail which added to the heat. There was also a couple of peacocks that were very noisy on a neighbouring farm all night. . overall a lovely break apart from the above
Gill from Lancing (26 May 2017)

Did not realise closeness of the activities and that hen parties were allowed
Christine from Iwade (22 May 2017)

Just had a lovely weekend at marwell lodges. the lodge was top notch! surroundings were awesome. it made for a very relaxing break. thumbs up !
Andrew (22 May 2017)

Amazing lodge .very clean and tidy .kitchen well equipped. Hot tub lovely but could be seen from lodge next door .would visit again
Tracy from Feltham (15 May 2017)

Loved it...such a great weekend with the girls!
Nikki from Bexleyheath (08 May 2017)

Stayed for 4 nights 1st week of may and loved it. we'd booked an early slot which was well worth it to enjoy the surroundings and lodge itself. we stayed in a hurricane the staff welcomed us and gave a great overview which helped meant we weren't wondering what if. the kitchen was extremely well appointed, plenty of space in the living area & each bedroom was well appointed with comfy beds plenty of storage and room to move. bathrooms were excellent the shower in the en suite was powerful so if you didn't want to wash your hair chose the bathroom shower instead. plenty of towels and towels for the hot tub which really made the break so relaxing. the lodge was very warm well insulated and if heating was needed easy to operate too. the surroundings were amazing although we do like to walk around where we stay no real sign posts offering walks as footpaths were closed off due to the activities it didn't stop us we found an alternative path. the play barn was good our daughter loved it being able to run around safely after returning to the lodge after a car journey. the seating area by the play area looked tired though and the seats were very uncomfortable but the restaurant area looked good. no food after 17:00 but you could still get a drink and you could order at 16:45 they were happy with that and it was explained to us. . only draw back no bathrobes for the hot tub but if that's all there is to grumble about then you've done well marwell. cannot wait to book again thank you
Sarah (05 May 2017)

Wonderful short break - v helpful staff
Louise from Rickmansworth (01 May 2017)

The lodge itself was lovely although to use the activity centre you had to book before the day which we wasn't told so therefore couldn't do any activities on our break
Lisa from Faversham, Kent (01 May 2017)

Very relaxing and good quality of accommodation having stayed in quite a few lodges marwell is definitely one of the best
Jamie from Bournemouth (24 April 2017)

Such a lovely and great place. We just wished the local pubs were more accessible via walking safely, there was no pavements for majority of the walk to the nearby pubs/restaurants. It was easy to get taxi's but they charged £10 before you got in the taxi due to the distance they traveled prior to collection.
Nicholas from Manchester (21 April 2017)

Activity staff were excellent and very supportive and encouraging. anna in the adventure barn was amazing when my son needed first aid. She went way beyond the call of duty - thanks so much
Amanda (17 April 2017)

Great lodge and surroundings. not a lot to do with one child as you have to book a minimum number of people on acitivites, it is not like holiday parks it that respect. . staff were all friendly except one who came and checked our hot tub. . would use as a base for our next trip
Louise from Basingstoke (17 April 2017)

Lodges are kept in pristine condition. Area is lovely. But its so small and you aren't allowed to freely walk around which is not good. Everything else was perfect!
Francesca from Kent (14 April 2017)

We stayed at marwell lodges for the first week of the easter holidays with our 3 children, ages 10 & 12 (twins). they are in a nice tranquil spot & you could see a bird of prey regularly & hear some peacocks. we stayed in hurricane lodge 1. . . good as a base for exploring the new forest & close to portsmouth - we visited the aquarium there. The children did 2 activities - the aerial assault course & the kayaking. Our funds only stretched to that as this wasn't to be our only 2017 holiday. They enjoyed both, but especially the kayaking. What a fantastic instructor. They all fell in the water more than once, but loved every minute. Nice to know money was well spent!
Nicola from Maldon (07 April 2017)

Amazing lodge couldn't fault it. Sauna was added bonus
Sharon from Kent (03 April 2017)

The lodges are very close together with little privacy for the outside areas. No close parking facilites was also not ideal. The welcome to the site was not great. We arrived an hour early and enquired if we could check in early. We got a rather abrupt response to this which did not exactly make us feel welcome. . . the site itself is an activity centre with the lodges added as a after thought. Overall the site was a disappointment.
Scott from Redhill, Surrey (31 March 2017)

Lovely weekend away with friends. the staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing seemed like too much trouble. the location was lovely, with lovely view. we were very lucky to have very warm weather for march and we were able to sunbathe on the decking without anyone overlooking us. will definitely return.
Caroline from Coventry (27 March 2017)

Stayed in sleeps 8 lodge. There were only 2 of us so space adequate. However this lodge only accommodates 4 people comfortably (only 4 seat sofas) and 6 at a push (only 6 dining chairs, beds and space in hot tub). not suitable for 8. The provided quipment was also poor (only 1 cutting knife in draw, etc). have stayed at far better equipped lodges elsewhere.
Phil from Norwich (27 March 2017)

Was an amazing holiday! would definitely be coming back.
Holly from Brighton (20 March 2017)

Absolutely exceptional. best lodge we have been to.
Joann from Chelmsford (13 March 2017)

The lodge it self is very nice , everything you could want apart from the bed which is very small and really let's the cabin down !! the lodge is surrounded by other lodges which sleep a lot more than two people and we're full with hen and stag party's and very noisy until very late at night / early morning ! and also the lodges are on an activity centre which got very busy and noisy especially the quad bikes which they keep and hose down directly behind our lodge ( typhoon ) which I found very annoying as this is where the hot tub is sited not very relaxing with the noise and fumes from the engines !! there is also no parking directly at the lodge and we found when we went out and came back we couldn't find a space anywhere because all the cars for the activity centre , I really think this should all be addressed as it really ruins the whole experience , and I also think robes should be provided for walking to the hot tub as there is no direct door ! all in all we would not return as a couple looking for a romantic quiet break as it really is not that !!
Louise from Ipswich (06 March 2017)

Were madw to feel totally relaxed and welcome despite being a hen party (well behaved!). hot tub was glorious! thank you for everything, we are planning next trip xx
Dawn from Fareham (06 March 2017)

Lovely facilities, quite expensive but great for a girls holiday
Noreen (06 March 2017)

Lovely lodge. Great play centre for the children. Ideally placed to be out of the way yet close enough to lots of things to do if you choose.
Fiona from Dorset (17 February 2017)

Fantastic break away with a small group of friends - great location and lots to do.
Galina from Oxford (13 February 2017)

Fantastic time, as soon as I got home I booked it again straight away, everything was fantastic, will go time and time again.
Lisa from Margate (10 February 2017)

Overall very nice but wifi is a real problem . very intermittent, we had gone for a few days rest and planned to watch films, this was impossible as connection so poor. We booked a late check out and this was not communicated to the cleaners who said this wasn't possible when they knocked our lodge door only for us to call the reception and find out it was.
Nickala from Portsmouth (03 February 2017)

Very nice lodge, clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly and helped out whenever there was an issue. Activities at the centre were over priced although there is plenty to do in the area so this was not an issue.
Kirsty (27 January 2017)

Met up with friends for the weekend . the lodge was lovely and the activity place attached looked great . can't wait to return when my kids are a little older to stay and do some activities . loved the quaintness of the lodges and the hot tubs
Selena (23 January 2017)

Perfect luxury lodge. Everything was brilliant. . location is not great, if you want to walk etc. . but if you can drive its perfect. . shame about the out of date food which was left in the arrival basket.
Lance from Stourbridge (23 January 2017)

The lodge and staff were amazing
Sharon from Hertfordshire (06 January 2017)

We had a really great time, peaceful, relaxing a great get away for the 2 of us. Only problem was leaving and going back to reality.
Wendy from Portsmouth (06 January 2017)

Booked again for next year.. says it all!
Claire (10 October 2016)

Great can't fault the place, would definitely recommend it to friends
Carl from Warrington (07 October 2016)

Would be better if the club house opened later than 6pm
Stephanie from Fareham (19 September 2016)

Fantastic lodge. 5star plus. very helpful staff. will be back
Jeffrey from Bracknell (19 September 2016)

Amazing lodge with excellent facilities. Beautifully clean with extremely helpful staff, we had an amazing time.
Kerry from Chandlers Ford (19 September 2016)

Lovely lodges beautiful surroundings. Will be back
Catherine from Bognor Regis (19 September 2016)

Beautiful and luxurious lodges. Hot tub, bbq and on-site soft play were a real bonus. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Lodges and surroundings were clean and well kept. We liked that there wasnt loads and loads of lodges on the site- felt exclusive and peaceful. Perfect location for a variety of visitor attractions. We didn't want to leave and would definitely stay at marwell lodges again.
Keely from Colchester Essex (16 September 2016)

Very nice lodge and good activities . would scored it 10 out of 10 but the bed was uncomfortable
Shane from Marden (12 September 2016)

Amazing holiday! can't wait to go back
Tia from Kent (09 September 2016)

We had a lovely stay. All was as described. Staff were very friendly and would pop in each day to check everything was okay in the lodge.
Ricki from Salisbury (05 September 2016)

Very nice lodge, real bonus having a hot tub. Ideal if you want a smaller holiday park that is quite quiet. Good location and base for exploring nearby attractions. Would recommend.
Adrian from Abingdon (02 September 2016)

Lovley lodge, very peaceful nice romantic break. Only down side is not having a door leading direct to hot tubs providing bath robes would be a bonus.
Rebecca from Doncaster (22 August 2016)

We stayed for 7 nights at marwell lodges and cannot wait to go back. The lodges were clean and had everything we needed. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. We had two young children with us and they loved the soft play. The food in the bistro was lovely too. To top it all off the hot tub was amazing, just what we needed after a long day!
Kelly from Ashford (15 August 2016)

We had a fantastic week away in the hurricane lodge. Big highlight was the hot tub, the children couldn't wait to get in it every evening. Our daughter really enjoyed the day camp and would of loved to attend each day if she could of. We've already booked for aug 2017.
Rachel from Manchester (08 August 2016)

Beautiful location, the lodge itself was hi spec - couldn't fault it, just a shame they do not have a swimming pool otherwise would be perfect ! thanks for a lovely stay...
Clare from East Sussex (08 August 2016)

A really nice location for a holiday, especially the hot tub. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The lodge was only 3 months old, was well fitted and tastefully finished.
Janice from Brighton (05 August 2016)

Beautiful venue and the lodge was excellant
Janet from Eastbourne (05 August 2016)

Nice lodges and great surroundings, staff was very help full and always there if you needed anything. . we booked the double lodge with hot tub, and sauna new for 2016. Was not disappointed. . this is a review of the holiday lodges and not the activity center, as they are based within the grounds there is some teenagers in the area but they are managed very well and it does not effect the peacefulness of the lodges. We were very happy and have booked again for next year.
Eamonn from Staffordshire (01 August 2016)

Nice, high end finish to the lodge: hot tub, nice indoor and outdoor furniture. With two little ones we found the free entry to the decent sized soft play area to be a blessing, and the decent sized outdoor kids play area too. My only gripe I guess was that there wasn't really anywhere obvious to go for a stroll as majority of the land is restricted to the outdoor activities run at the center. That said, it was otherwise a great place to stay and within easy drive of new forest (45 mins), portsmouth and southsea (30 mins), and marwell zoo (5 mins!
Andria (01 August 2016)

My husband, son & I had a excellent holiday. No complaints at all.
Lynn (25 July 2016)

We truly had a fantastic holiday at marwell. the lodge itself was immaculate, well designed and a home from home. our youngest enjoyed the activities on site but overall it was a great base from which to explore the area. Relaxation was what we were after, but with the activities available on site you can make it as active as you wish.
Sharron from Kilmarnock (22 July 2016)

Fabulous lodge in a super location. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and will definitely return
Greig from Balloch (18 July 2016)

Very good lodge - view from jacuzzi slightly spoilt by view of rubbish in field. Apart from that excellent.
Derek from Ramsgate (15 July 2016)

The lodge was very nice but the site seems confused. Is it a relaxing getaway or an activity centre with groups of people constantly arriving and making noise? well, both it seems. Also, there is nowhere to walk to so if you want to explore the area, make sure you are willing to take the car. Literally, there are no walks on site without going onto busy country lanes. The staff were generally very helpful.
Andrew from Fleet (15 July 2016)

Beautiful location, very modern very clean lodge. the friendliest staff from anywhere we've ever been. We will be going back one day
Gary from Essex (08 July 2016)

Had an absolutely great weekend here for my sisters hen party. The lodges are beautiful and the hot tubs are great. All 12 of us were very happy.
Lauren from Southampton (04 July 2016)

Top of the range lodges with lovely staff hot tub was amazing and bbq a real bonus the only negatives are there is no onsite shop for basics nearest supermarket is around 7 miles away and the activities they offer are far too expensive for what they are (children think they are great by the way)and especially if you have more than one child wanting to do them would definatkey return as such a restful break which was just what we wanted
Helen from South Wales (01 July 2016)

Absolutely loved everything about the holiday. Especially the hot tub! I think a little more privacy from the landowner in our lodge would have made the holiday much better as constantly felt watched
Megan from Newport (27 June 2016)

This holiday is not for couples. We were very disappointed with the surroundings. You were not allowed to go anywhere for a walk. There was no privacy around your lodge. Groups of young people walking passed your lodge every minute of the day, it was like being in the middle of a playground. If it wasn't for the beautiful lodge we would have left earlier than we did.
Ruth from Macclesfield (24 June 2016)

Lovely lodge, lovely people will definitely be visiting again.
Kerry (13 June 2016)

Fantastic weekend, staff very helpful accommodation brilliant, will use again
Elaine (13 June 2016)

Great stay in lancaster lodge. Beautiful, comfortable and clean lodge with great activities available.
Leena from Reading (13 June 2016)

This was no way a luxury retreat .5 log cabins tacked onto the side of an outdoor adventure centre. If I wanted a holiday surrounded by 200 school children and other thrill seekers ie quad bickers segway riders and team building seminars then bring it on.not my idea of relaxing, our lodge was also next to and open garage that was used as the refuse collection piont, not evan doors on it to hid the mountain of trash.a welcome basket that had a selection of tea bags 2 sachets of coffee and some broken cheese biscuits, both pointless without milk or cheese.
Phillip from Lincoln (13 June 2016)

A superb holiday- lodge very modern and spacious. Only criticism is the sofa bed in the living area has a very thin mattress that you can feel the springs so the lodge for 8 people is better for only 6 so no one is in the living space. Fantastic facilities, especially free use of the soft play (a must with our wet british weather!) which is next to the restaurant / cafe which sells alcohol so adults can have a drink / socialise whilst the kids play (we were a party of 16, with 7 kids aged 3-8 years).
Hannah from London (03 June 2016)

Loved our stay here. Couldn't fault staff and lodges. Lancaster lodge extremely spacious with large deck area and hot tub that grandchildren loved! would want to return definitely.
Leigh from Ashford (03 June 2016)

We stayed for 4 nights in a hurricane lodge. The lodge was fantastic, almost brand new. It had everything we needed, and the hot tube was a hit with us and the children! great locations for exploring the local area and the new forest. We will definitely be back again.
Andrea from Bromley (03 June 2016)

Had a relaxing week in hurricane lodge. Lodge had everything you needed, very clean and the hot tub was great! ideal location, plenty of places to visit. Would definitely stay again
Michael from Widnes (27 May 2016)

We stayed in the new lancaster lodge and it was everything we hoped for and more! perfect setting with views of the sunset as we lounged in the hot tub. . . we joked about having a west and east wing to the lodge which was perfect as I have a young family as does my brother who we stayed with it meant we had out own privacy with a bathroom each. . . the lodge was extremely well stocked with everything we needed, but without being over crowded, it felt light and spacious. . . the location was perfect for us, we visited pepper pig, the new forest and the beaches. Ideal for shopping in portsmouth and southampton too with everything within a 40 minute drive! . . the staff were amazing on the site, really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The on-site restaurant was good value and food to a high standard. What really impressed us was the cleanliness of everything. . . the children's ball park was imaculate and there is plenty of space for them to run wild at the park. The children were too young to do the organised activities this time but we will return again and hopefully take part as the looked very well run. we also visited the pool at the nearby marwell hotel, the staff there were welcoming and we thought it was great the activity centre had an arrangement to share facilities. . highly recomended, looking forward to staying again soon!!!
Dawn from Kent (27 May 2016)

Marwell was not just as I expected. It was better. Beautiful new lodge on small development. Digby and staff could not have been nicer nor more helpful. The only small blot on this heavenly landscape was the bloomin peacocks nearby. What a racket! this however is due to the time of year we visited ( early may) and the fact that they are all male. The weather was fantastic for the whole week we were there; good places to eat and drink nearby and close to winchester which was great to visit. Loved it and will be back as good for visiting family in the south.
Elspeth from Glasgow (09 May 2016)

Lovely lodge and hot tubs ,very friendly staff, but unless you have kids who enjoy all the expensive activites ,there is nothing else to do. We were told we weren`t even allowed to go for any walks because of the activities. Not very nice having a shooting range within a few feet from the lodges or having groups of noisy school kids walking right past our lodge will we were in the hot tub! long drive to any shop so make sure you are fully stocked up!
Carolyn from Fareham (09 May 2016)

Our second visit to marwell lodges and how fabulous it was. All the staff were friendly and helpful and have added some nice extra touches to the lodge.
Deb from Aldershot (09 May 2016)

Such a wonderful place to stay. Perfect for all ages and interests! the staff are amazing and so kind. We had the best holiday we've ever had thanks to its outstanding accommodation and setting. We would return without hesitation.
Hayley from Northants (06 May 2016)

Great venue for a hen weekend! really lovely staff and great activities.
Rachel from East Sussex (02 May 2016)

Fantastic lodge. Facilities perfect. Staff amazing. It's family run and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. Good in restaurant is first class, especially sunday roast. Booked again to go later in the year!
Janice from Surrey (18 April 2016)

These lodges are lovely, lots of attention to detail, very comfortable and relaxing, hot tub was great and well maintained. The owner and his staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble (we needed more dining chairs and a highchair and we had them within 5 minutes of asking), we didn't use the activity centre (but great that it's there if you want to use it), used the indoor swimming pool at marwell hotel (free to use for lodge guests!) and visited marwell zoo and winchester both very close, nice local pubs recommended by the owner for good food if you don't feel like cooking (kitchen very well equipt), would definitely stay here again!!
Debbie from New Milton,Hampshire (08 April 2016)

Lodge for 8 people only had 2 2 seater sofas and only 6 dining chairs. staff were friendly activities were expensive. Would like to have been informed that building work was taking place prior to checking in as it felt like we were holidaying on a building site.
Andy from Coventry (28 March 2016)

We couldn't recommend this resort any more highly. The owner took great care of us. The lodges are amazing. Attention to detail has been paid on every aspect. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will be revisiting again very soon.
Kelly from Beccles (25 March 2016)

We had an absolutely fantastic stay, the staff were second to none. The accommodation certainly was luxury and we were extremely happy with all of the amenities that we were provided with. It was clean and comfortable and the staff made sure we had everything that we needed. Most definitely looking to stay again for a lovely short weekend break away.
Lorraine (21 March 2016)

I absolutely loved my stay here at marwell lodges I gave location and surroundings a 5 because there are loads of things you can do but you do have to travel to do them. Not really much you can do around the actual lodge. And value for money I do find the lodges are abit pricey considering there arnt onsite facilities swimming pool etc.. we used alot of fuel during this hotel travelling to places to do things so price could be a little more generous.
Lucy from Staines (11 March 2016)

The lodges were absolutely fantastic! finished to a high standard and were a great base for a group weekend away. Would definitely recommend.
Sam from Southampton (07 March 2016)

Very nice, peaceful place to really relax . lodge was equipped with everything you need and it was warm and cosy , beautiful !
Irene from Southampton (04 March 2016)

Lovely lodge, slightly strange set up as just currently 3 lodges on an activity centre. Soft play is actually open to the general paying public so can get very busy. Small pool in nearby marwell hotel. Lodges decorated to a high standard and a joy to stay in. May return when the children are older (currently 6) so they could take part in the activities.
Samantha (15 February 2016)

Excellent, spotless accommodation
Robert from Colchester Essex (05 February 2016)

Excellent lodge with very modern decor and facilities, hot tub well used, very clean , all staff extremely obliging and helpful. Activities for all ages, younger ones enjoyed the play barn and older ones the assault course and climbing wall. Thoroughly recommend this centre and also marwell zoo and hotel where we had a swim every day.
Jillian from New Milton (25 January 2016)

Lovely lodge hot tub fab bit noisy when kids arrived to use facilities surroundings not brilliant but nice walk to the ship pub a few miles away would recommend
Natalie (25 January 2016)

Was lovely the hot tub was amazing. The soft play was brilliant for my 2 year old nephew. Not far from winchester and minutes from the zoo. All in all fantastic.
Faye from Winchester (18 January 2016)

Wonderful, relaxing brake
David from Lewes East Sussex (15 January 2016)

Lovely lodge on a nice site with helpful and friendly staff. The addition of a small gym and some walks around the grounds would make it perfect. You do get use of the leisure facilities at the neighbouring hotel but their gym is very limited. A gym on site with just a handful of equipment would be a great asset.
Lisa from Fareham (11 January 2016)

Brilliant loved every minute , staff fabulous too. Will be back.
Richard from New Forest (18 December 2015)

I have stayed here numerous times the cabins are 2nd to none, wifi isn't the best but hey ho. Hot tub and all other facilities are great.
John from Scunthorpe (04 December 2015)

A perfect relaxing weekend retreat and we would loved to have rebooked before leaving. However, when we looked into this on the website we found out that the identical weekend this time next year would have cost us almost double the price so sadly we will not be returning.
Heidi from Havant (30 November 2015)

It was beautiful, large choice of things to do, staff were very helpful with anything we needed, was a little difficult to find as it isn't on sat nav as marwell lodges its at marwell activity center but once we arrive we had a very chilled and enjoyable weeked none of us wanted to leave, will defiantly be booking again.
Melanie from Colchester (16 November 2015)

Absolutely fantastic weekend break! having the soft play on site and included in the price is brilliant! the food in the restaurant was also very nice.
Claire from Ashtead (02 November 2015)

Great lodge that everything we needed, hot tub amazing, although very hot! only thing I would say is that there was no suitable activities to book for children under 8. would have been beneficial if options available. The soft play and play equipment were onsite were helpful after a day exploring marwell zoo and the winchester science centre. overall a lovely short break :)
Emma (02 November 2015)

Every member of staff we came into contact with were lovely, helpful and polite. We only used the adventure barn and the outside play area and the kids loved them. It was lovely to take our children away and keep them entertained and busy without arcades etc. We used the swimming pool at the hotel which is just minutes around the corner and again lovely polite people.
David from Essex (23 October 2015)

I came with 6 of my girl friends for my hen do, it was amazing! the tree top activity and the quad bikes couldn't have been any better, the managers worked alongside my friends as they had 'suprises' planned and was so so helpful. The stay was so nice, we will definitely be coming back again
Hayley from Basingstoke (19 October 2015)

A new holiday park, in a good location to explore the area.
Joe from Derby (16 October 2015)

Lovely place to stay with family and relax. Beautiful lodge and fantastic hot tub.
Sue from Southampton (28 September 2015)

Really lovely lodges finished to a high standard. spacious rooms, lovely bathroom, equipped kitchen and comfy lounge area. Only thing would be the sofas either need firmer cushions or replacing but really didn't spoil the enjoyment. The hot tub was fab and all round had a lovely stay.
Tanya from Kingston Upon Thames (14 September 2015)

Perfect!
