Superb
Customer 1 from Wincanton (20 April 2018)

Everything was perfect, from the location, the property to the arrival process. Had a wonderful time, peaceful and relaxing.
Nik (16 April 2018)

Great holiday with alot of tourist activities completed and some lovely relaxful times in the lodge and hot tub
John from Merstham (13 April 2018)

Lots of very nice local produce left out very clean nothing to much trouble very relaxing time spent
Amanda from Lowestoft (09 April 2018)

Could not fault our stay at lode hall lodges in one of the lavender lodges and would not hesitate to go back! we had the friendliest welcome from lee who told us everything we needed to know including recommendations of where to go. The lodge was very clean and modern with everything you could ever possibly need and more! a lovely welcome hamper, towels, robes and plastic wine glasses- perfect for the hot tub! its in a quiet location which was ideal for a nice relaxing weekend. The owners were very friendly and welcoming-even getting in touch with us when a member of our party left behind a speaker (to which none of us had realised), they went above and beyond and overall I would 100% recommend lode hall to others.
Alice (09 April 2018)

Late booking and what a lovely lodge. The lodge had everything we could dream of and all the best of quality. We were two couples and our lodge was huge and had plenty of room for us to spread out without being on top of each other. Wonderful quiet location and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We were in lavender three and this had a fully enclosed back area with our hot tub in, which also shielded us from the wind. If you like peace and quiet then this is a great retreat. However nearest pubs and restaurents are a drive away. All in all we had a wonderful relaxing break and enjoyed the fresh sausage, bacon and eggs in the welcome basket, such a lovely kind touch. We hope to return again next year, fingers crossed.
Ann-Marie from Clacton On Sea (06 April 2018)

The lodge itself was great , but was not really happy with the view from the lodge or the hot tub. The lodges are set out all facing one another and the hot tub was fenced in with no view available. We have been in other lodges that offer better views from both the lodge itself and the hot tub. Staff were great and helped when needed and the surrounding areas are very rural. great place to stay if you want peace and quiet
David from Benfleet (06 April 2018)

Lovely lodge. could do with a toiletries holder in shower as no shelves etc to put things
Sharon (02 April 2018)

Great place to relax , the staff was so nice, would highly recommend and hopefully will be going back again next year
Mark (26 March 2018)

Beautiful lodges with all your need .a quiet relaxing stay for adults
Mark from Ipswich (19 March 2018)

Lodge was lovely. Area is quiet enough. We enjoyed it.
Stuart (16 March 2018)

Pleasant, quite and relaxing
Rowena from Doncaster (16 March 2018)

Wonderful relaxing break, fantastic if you want to get away from it all. The accommodation is luxurious and spotlessly clean.
Sherrill from Peterborough (12 March 2018)

The actuall lodge was nice, stayed in angelica 1, but felt closed in when in the hot tub, as there is frosted glass up probally because the view is awful due to a road that hardly ever gets used and the dead trees. . actually inside the lodge is very very nice though.
David from Southend (09 March 2018)

This was our 3rd stay here, the staff are great, the place is lovely, clean and tidy. It’s really peaceful and you feel right at home with that extra bit of luxury
Nicol from Stevenage (09 March 2018)

Beautiful lodge interior, all equipment supplied. Welcome pack was a bonus consisting of local produce. Very quiet and peacful location, well kept grounds. The hot tub was superb. Staff very helpful and cheerful.
Barry from Broxbourne Herts. (09 March 2018)

Excellent
Amanda from Suffolk (05 March 2018)

We spent 4 days here on the coldest week of the year and had a great time. staff and owners were really friendly and helpful. hot tubs was amazing, sitting in there with the snow falling!! lodge was very clean and well kept. had a welcome basket of bread, butter, jam, bacon and sausages from local farms, which was a very nice thought. Welcome pack in the lodge with tourist information and local takeaways and restaurant/pubs. Surroundings very quiet and peaceful and lodges not too close together. would recommend and would like to visit again in the future.
Amanda from Great Yarmouth (02 March 2018)

We enjoyed four nights in an angelica lodge. Everything was clean and well presented and we even had a breakfast welcome pack including bacon, sausages, eggs, bread, butter and milk.
Pamela from Keighley (02 March 2018)

2nd stay at lode hall, stayed in lavender first which was amazing but my recent visit was staying in angelica 2. All I can say is 5* comfort and luxury and will definitely be returning again.
Julie-Anne from Hertfordshire (26 February 2018)

Emma (12 February 2018)

We had a really lovely time here. The lodge was so nice, beautifully decorated, lifht and spacious and so so peaceful. The hot tub was amazing!. the owners were lovely they came to visit as we arrived then left us to our weekend. They had left a lovely basket of food and drink too.

Lovely lodges very high quality and exceeding clean. really well equipped would definitely recommend.

Amazing weekend away, so peaceful and quiet, lovely surroundings. The owners were so lovely, also the owners dog and cat wandering around the site was a lovely treat as a animal lover, very friendly. . would definitely visit again.
Catherine from Kent (05 February 2018)

We had a lovely break. The lodge was fantastic and the setting ideal for a relaxed break. The welcome basket was a really nice addition. We will be back
Sharon (02 February 2018)

My wife an I spent 3 days at lode hall and I can honestly recomend it for total rest an relaxation, lovely hot tub and a superb lodge with everything you need for your break and a lovely welcome hamper with fresh eggs, sausage, bacon and bread an milk,we are certainly going back this year. First class and lovely and quiet break and a great place for wildlife, I saw my very 1st hen harrier.
Kevin from Peterborough (29 January 2018)

The lodge location was fantastic, but unfortunately silly things like missing cooker burner top, broken fridge shelf in the door, missing basin plug(auto type). little things that let down the lodge. But made up by the welcome pack.
Colin from Luton (29 January 2018)

Amazing place to stay. Me and my partner loved it! very clean, comfortable and quiet
Roxanne from Stowmarket (29 January 2018)

Fantastic weekend break, lodge was immaculate, very comfortable and warm, (essential for end of january). excellent and very private hot tub and a bonus of a very nice welcome pack. would definitely recommend.
Alec from Chelmsford (29 January 2018)

Very nice site would recomend it too all my friends
John from Portsmouth (26 January 2018)

Lovely modern lodges with lots of space. Hot tub was a very nice extra. Lovely large cozy beds and the bedding was lovely!. the lodges are extremely remote and everything is a drive away. The local pub is approx 10 mins but well worth the drive. Staff were very attentive upon check in and met us at the lodge with a charming welcome hamper. The signal wasn't too great so trying to get in touch wasn't always easy. All in all a lovely stay and would recommend.
Kelly from Sheffield (22 January 2018)

Perfect apart from the wifi. . but that's probably rural norfolk for you!
Rowan (22 January 2018)

Delightful stay, a few minor issues because lodge brand new, but would definitely return.
Sandra from Swaffham (15 January 2018)

One of the best lodges we have stayed in
Dean from Essex (15 January 2018)

Perfect little weekend away for us, very little to do but that’s what we wanted, we will return!
Rebecca from Essex (15 January 2018)

Our angelica lodge was amazing. From fixtures & fittings to the luxurious blinds and wonderful hot tub and bath. Spotless accommodation - pure luxury. Will definitely be visiting again.
Belinda from Broxbourne (08 January 2018)

Great place spotless inside owners very welcoming
Kerry from Romford (03 January 2018)

Staff were really helpful nothing was to much for them, they put local produce in fridge & drinks for our use really kind . nice quite location downham market was really nice .
Gary from Chelmsford (30 December 2017)

Very peaceful with no problems nice and relaxing totally enjoyed it
Ray from Worksop (27 December 2017)

This was out third stay at lode hall lodges. They are very well equipped and the owners very helpful. We love the peace and quiet.
Louise from Lichfield (27 December 2017)

Overall, our xmas break was excellent. . the pre-decorated xmas tree was a lovely touch, as was the delicious locally-sourced welcome basket. Lots of interesting walks nearby but, alas, too far for our traditional family walk to enjoy a local xmas day pub. That said a short drive finds you one, with more choice in nearby wisbech. All staff at lode hall were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Colin from Hatfield, Herts (27 December 2017)

Staff very helpful, lovely basket of food to give us a start , lovely lodge very clean and well prepared..
Gary from Kent (18 December 2017)

The lodge was very comfortable and clean. The owners were very helpful
Ian (18 December 2017)

Amazing, one of the nicest and luxurious plass we've ever stayed.
Benjamin from Wilmslow (08 December 2017)

Excellent value for money, lovely package waiting for us on arrival (bacon, bread, eggs, sausage, beer). beautiful and quiet, really enjoyed the break. For what we paid, this goes above and beyond our expectations.
Lisa from Nottingham (04 December 2017)

Absolutely loved the lodge we stayed in (lavender lodge). it was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely book again and have already recommended to friends
Rebecca from Ipswich (01 December 2017)

This is the second time we have stayed at lode hall..this time in angelica. it was amazing, pure luxury. the owners are lovely, once they have welcomed they leave you alone. They do a yummy welcome basket with local produce. It is very quiet and nothing on site but they suited me and my husband. We can't wait to go back!
Katie (27 November 2017)

Just returned from a chilled relaxing weekend, second time here & will book again.luxurios & spotlessly clean.hot tub fab after a day's shopping.very helpful staff with a good welcome.
Michael from Essex (27 November 2017)

The holiday was fantastic, the welcome basket was a nice touch and I booked to go back again next year the day I got home.
Gemma (24 November 2017)

This is a beautifully designed lodge, in a very peaceful scenic location. The hot tub worked perfectly, comfy beds, a lovely welcome pack that included fresh sausages and bacon, bread, butter, jams, milk and a few biscuits (perhaps more but can't remember!). . I think this is great value for money and would certainly stay again.
Robbie from March (13 November 2017)

Fantastic site quite and peaceful van well maintained and very clean and hot tub looked after every day . lovely gesture of arrival pack bacon, sausages, ect
Mark from March (10 November 2017)

Lovely clean modern lodge. Owners lovely . lodge is quite out of the way from anywhere but for complete rest , peace and quiet this would be the lodge to go to.
Claire from Hampshire (10 November 2017)

Me and my partner enjoyed a 4 night break at lode hall, we stayed here last year and would definitely happily stay again next year. Beautiful lodge, perfect area and helpful staff. Also having a welcome hamper yet again, was a lovely touch! thank you :)
Lois from Suffolk (10 November 2017)

Perfect get away from it all. 2nd visit and can’t wait to go back. Fran & dickie are so helpful and friendly
Joanne from Nottingham (06 November 2017)

Amazing weekend loved the lodge and the hot tub was very relaxing weekend!
Rebecca from Essex (06 November 2017)

We only have one holiday a year and this year it was a four night break in an angelica lodge. . if you are hesitating over booking a holiday at lode hall lodges, hesitate no more!. proper five star accommodation, sparklingly clean , heating you have control over, fully opening windows (believe me, some places don't), gorgeous french windows facing the front which was lovely as the weather was kind to us. . hot tub is just perfect! though can be noisy when it regulates the heat when you are not using it, for us this happened during the first night, three times. A helpful staff member informed us of why it might be doing that and to lower the temp. This seemed to solve it :). kitchen was a dream to use and there's plenty of space for two of you in every room in the lodge. Tassimo coffee maker was a very welcome touch, as is the basket of local produce you get on arrival. Fair enough you pay a premium price so really a small welcome basket should be included, but isn't always. Here, they've thought of almost everything. . the one thing that would've helped is a small non slip mat for the (fabulous) shower unit. Next time we will take our own anyway. . we wanted to book for the same time next year but, the price is over £200 more than we paid this year, so will have to go to plan b. . we cannot wait to return!
Martine from Cambridge (03 November 2017)

Lovely lodge and good value for money. nice and quiet too.
Tracy from Essex (27 October 2017)

Lovely lodge, clean and spacious. Very relaxing! looks exactly like the photos. Would definitely stay again.
Molly (27 October 2017)

Absoultly stunning place to stay.
Richard from Norwich (13 October 2017)

Most amazing time was had. Would go back in a heartbeat
Sally from Sheerness (02 October 2017)

We stayed in an angelica lodge. It was an exceptionally good experience. Large bedroom and large living area. very comfortable bed, all appliances worked well. There was a very nice welcome pack of essentials left for us on arrival. The owners welcomed us and briefed us on the lodge facilities when we arrived. the park is isolated but this is what we wanted - a quiet retreat but a good base to visit from. we have stayed in many lodges in the last few years but this is by far the best. The hot tub was very good and covered by a verandah - excellent.
Terry from Milton Keynes (25 September 2017)

Excellent relaxed holiday for me and my partner.
Shannon from Isle Of Wight (25 September 2017)

Worth every single penny, great hosts. would recommended this to people time and time again.
Andrew from Hartlepool (22 September 2017)

A fantastic break
Colin from Derbyshire (22 September 2017)

Nice clean lodges with a lovely starter pack on arrival. Very friendly owners who make you feel at home.
Angela from Hull (08 September 2017)

Fantastic
Christine from Seaford (08 September 2017)

The lodges were lovely , it was a shame your view when in the hot tub was blocked by the fence surrounding the tub . need a car as nothing near by . but very relaxing .
Keith from Sutton Surrey (01 September 2017)

Lovely weekend, went as two couples. Facilities were great and everything was so fresh and new. Only downside was how far away everything was, but great if you want a lovely peaceful relaxing time. We made the unfortunate mistake of going into downham market.. what an experience. Go to ely if you visit and want to get out. Overall though, lovely break. Hot tub was amazing.
Emily (28 August 2017)

Beautiful place! so quiet and relaxing ! will be coming back ! staff fantastic !
Timothy from Oxford (28 August 2017)

The only reason I put an 8 for location is because it is slightly out in the wilderness. This is the reason I booked to stay there as its quiet.
James from Ipswich (28 August 2017)

Fabulous lodge in a quiet rural setting, highly recommended for a completely relaxing holiday . which is exactly what we wanted. Hot tub wad fabulous and some lovely thoughtful extra touches in the lodge.
Tina from Ipswich (25 August 2017)

We had a lovely time and the staff were very friendly. The lodges were lovely and extremely clean. The welcome pack was a great touch. The lodges were very warm however and would probably benefit from having a fan as having the windows open meant a load of flies and spiders came in (and the cat). overall it was a great time away and we would definitely visit again!
Colleen (25 August 2017)

Excellent first class service spotlessly clean great style and everything you need for a comfy stay great hot tub
Nicholas from Canterbury (21 August 2017)

We had a lovely long weekend in the lodge! lodge was perfect and the hot tub was sublime! very chilled weekend! the owners were very approachable and helpful.
Matthew (21 August 2017)

The owners were lovely, very thoughtful leaving us a welcome hamper and also a file with everything we needed, nothing was to much trouble for them. The lodge was beautiful and finished to a very high standard, the site was very clean and tidy. The only issue we had was we didn't want to leave! would highly recommend and would go back in the future.
Steven (11 August 2017)

Amazing relaxing time, we can't wait to go back
Sarah from Cardiff (11 August 2017)

The holiday park was set in beautiful countryside and was very tranquil. the owners, dick and fran couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating.
Richard (04 August 2017)

Excellent lodge great hot tub well worth a visit
Stewart (31 July 2017)

Lovely lodge and very private hot tub in lavender 3. But outside space was very lacking..no table and chairs to eat out on only chairs for sitting. Scruffy out buildings of lodge very visible. Not as quiet as we were expecting with loud farm machinery and overhead military planes. . welcome basket was a lovely touch, but i'd have left out the alcohol and meat..lots of sensitivities for people having those products around. . . . could be first class but just needs a little extra thought.. worked for us as a base for exploring and enjoying the hot tub.
Helen (28 July 2017)

It's a perfect location nothing is too far away, lodges are beautiful they are a perfect getaway if you just want peace and quiet.
Fiona from Leicester (21 July 2017)

The lodge was beautifully presented and furnished. We stayed for 4 nights. Lodge was like a heat trap and held the heat from the sun all day long. Lovely welcome pack of local produce left for us. Staff were friendly & helpful. Surrounded by owners fields so good if you have a dog but not the best surroundings for nature walks etc. Close enough to cambridge & kings lynn for days out. Overall beautiful lidge but setting not as nice as others we have stayed in
Kathleen from Cheshire (21 July 2017)

Great place to stay. Angelica lodge was superb and was everything we thought it would be from the photos. Loved the hot tub . owners were very helpful and the welcome pack was a nice surprise. Location is very quiet but that's what we wanted and there's loads of places to go within a shortish drive
Mark from Dartford (14 July 2017)

If you want peace and quiet, time for yourselves to relax you cannot beat lode hall.the lodge was immaculate and the welcome pack a wonderful touch.one thing we really liked was being shown where everything was and how things worked ,something a lot of holiday venues could get into the habit of doing.would we go back? yes in a heartbeat
John from Cupar (07 July 2017)

If you want a peaceful and relaxing break this is the place to go.
Richard (03 July 2017)

Our second visit to this lovely lodge. Very peaceful. Comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Loved the hot tub.
Louise from Lichfield (26 June 2017)

We had a very relaxing holiday and the hosts were friendly & helpful, we had a leak on one of the bathroom sinks which was fixed within a few hours. The welcome pack was a very nice touch, with local produce. Although this site only had 5 lodges which we were told would hopefully increase to 20 over time, it has the potential to be a very nice site. The area around the lodges was well maintained with a number of flower beds and kept lawns. However the office and out buildings next to the office , we felt, let the site down, being old and out of place amongst the lodges and lode hall. The wifi was very unreliable, which if you use social media then you would be rather frustrated.
Customer 88 (23 June 2017)

Second visit to angelica at lode hall lodges. Another excellent stay! - the lodge was as luxurious and clean as the first visit last year. Great thought and care has gone into making these lodges great to stay in!! - hopefully will be back again...
Rosalind from Norwich (23 June 2017)

This is our third time at lode hall and every stay gets better and better, can't wait for our next visit

Lovely place, very welcoming. Excellent quality accommodation for value for money would definitely stay again 10/10 had a brilliant relaxing anniversary stay.
David from Manchester (05 June 2017)

Lovely location with lots of opportunities for me to photograph wildlife. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and my husband very much enjoyed his game of golf with dick.
Rache from Hertfordshire (02 June 2017)

Lovely and relaxing place to stay. The lodge was to a high standered. The owners were lovely and were execellent. Lovely place to stay.
Nicola from Upper Belvedere (02 June 2017)

The lodge was fantastic and the location excellent. staff were lovely and helpful. Will definitely be going back.
David from Bexleyheath (02 June 2017)

The lodge was very good and I would recommend it to all of my family and friends
Michelle from Sheffield (26 May 2017)

This was our second time as enjoyed it so much the first time. be prepared for peace and quiet as barely any phone signal and only fields around you
Annette from Milton Keynes (22 May 2017)

Very peaceful and great for a quiet relaxing weekend. The lodge had a lot of little touches which made a difference. Welcome basket, bath robes and fabulous toiletries. Would definitely recommend.
Katrina from Coventry (08 May 2017)

It was beautiful place to stay, would definitely stay again.
Laura (24 April 2017)

Fantastically clean lodge with all you could want or need. Lovely quiet park although a little too quiet in some respects. Amazing hot tub!
Kane (14 April 2017)

In a lovely quite location just ideal and relaxing
Gavin from East Sussex (10 April 2017)

Very nice peaceful relaxing break ,welcome basket was a lovely touch and staff where very helpful ...
Andrew from Wolverhampton (10 April 2017)

Had the best weekend!. beautiful lodge
Travis (03 April 2017)

Amazing!!! we stayed for 4 nights just after our wedding for a mini-moon. Peaceful, secluded and a home from home. The bed is so comfy and it has everything you need to enjoy your break. The little touches of the tassimo, dressing gowns and welcome pack made it more than we had expected. Not too much to do nearby but that was perfect us. I'd stay again tomorrow, in fact we'd quite like to move in!! already recommended to family and friends!!
Barbara (31 March 2017)

Very well equipped and really comfortable lodge. Super beds. The outside space was a little bare (though it was only march) - could do with a bit more greenery. Hot tub was great and easy to use and nicely private once through the entrance. Maybe put some privacy partitioning between the lodges so guests feel less overlooked when sitting outside their lodges? very close to lode hall (200m max) - so absolutely brill if you are part of a large family party at the hall (as we were) but fancy a bit of quiet away from the little ones!overall we had a great weekend. Couldn't find any oven gloves in our lodge or in the hall, which made roast dinner for 25 a bit of a hot topic - but hey, we managed anyway! thanks!
Peter (27 March 2017)

Excellent place to stay, clean, tidy and very well equipped, they have gone the extra mile to make you stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible, I would highly recommend these lodges, 10 out of 10
Mark from Lowestoft (20 March 2017)

Very neat and tidy cabin, fantastic hot tube with beautiful surrounds. Very relaxed holiday. We are looking at returning next year
Julie (17 March 2017)

Loved it, alreay planning on coming back. 10/10
James (13 March 2017)

This lodge had the best hot tub of all the lodges we have ever stayed in. The lodge had more than enough space and was stylish and comfortable. All the extra mod cons were a great touch. . . when we booked we were expecting to stay nearer cambridge and the location is more norfolk, but we should have looked into this ourselves. We wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday which is exactly what we got. Lode hall is pretty much in the middle of nowhere so if there isn't anything right on your doorstep but it depends what you are looking for.
Nakita (06 March 2017)

Not keen on the hot tub been enclosed would have liked a view whilst in the tub.
Kevin from Barnsley (06 March 2017)

One of the best weekend breaks ever! lovely luxury accommodation, and a superb hot tub. What more could you want?
Jennifer from Herne Bay (06 March 2017)

Very comfortable, well equipped and clean lodge. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of places to visit and eat. Liked the child free aspect of this site and had a lovely peaceful break. We will return.
Anne from Grimsby (17 February 2017)

Great weekend away! highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit of peace and a relaxing weekend.
Claire from Oxford (13 February 2017)

Second visit.. still excellent!
Collette from Brentwood (13 February 2017)

The owners were brilliant nothing was too much trouble. the bedroom in the angelica was stunning and the bed was truly divine. Thinking about going? don't hesitate just book it
Karen from Nottingham (13 February 2017)

Lodge was lovely, instantly felt relaxed from the moment we got there, so peaceful. Hot tub was amazing. The welcome basket was thoughtful and delicious. It's very quiet with nearest village about 20 mins away but we didn't mind, we were happy to make the most of the hot tub. we loved it so much we have booked to go back in november!
Katie from Milton Keynes (06 February 2017)

A very nice lodge just a few niggles, such as couldn't change temperature on hot tub, one lamp in bedroom didn't work and radiator in dining room didn't work. But also some very good points like welcome pack and folder with local information very useful. Would definitely return
Andrew from Sittingbourne (30 January 2017)

Lovely place to stop
Scott (27 January 2017)

We stayed in lodge no.1 for a long weekend and was very impressed with the cleanliness of the lodge. the lodge is very well equipped, right down to salt/pepper pots. the welcome pack was very good quality food and most helpful. we were there for a surprise family reunion; the rest of the party stayed in lodge hall (very impressed with the space!). time went far too quickly and we never got to use the hot tub, although it was most attractive. even though we had freezing temperatures overnight, the neighbouring lodges used the hot tub morning and late afternoon. all in all well impressed and intend to return.
Charles from Spalding (23 January 2017)

We stayed as a couple in the beautiful angelica lodge for my husbands birthday, from friday 20 jan - monday 23 jan 2017. We had absolutely everything we could need, lovely location quiet and very rural, but suited us perfectly. this is a good base if you want to go out and about sightseeing, but perfect if you just want to chill ! would definitely stay here again, the owners fran and dick are a lovely couple who could not do enough for us. We loved the welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, and sugar, bread, jams, bacon and sausages , a beer and cider ! lovely bed and bedding, beautiful white fluffy towels and bathrobes, a hidden gem. Thankyou
Wendy from Southampton (23 January 2017)

Such a beautiful place. The lodges are immaculate . was meant to stay in the angelica lodge but unfortunately there was a plumbing issue so stayed in another. Wasn't at all disappointed absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Lovely dog and cat that pop around too. also the welcome hamper was fantastic a nice touch. Thank you peach and james x
Peaches from Cleethorpes (20 January 2017)

Stephen from Nottjngham (09 January 2017)

Lovely location , nice and peaceful. The lodge was immaculately clean and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Hot tub was great, nice and big and private. Had a lovely short break and would have no hesitation in booking and going again , brilliant weekend away.
