Can’t fault the caravan and location food was lovely and decent unfortunately the amusements were a bit of a let down and may need to have some kind of organised rota for swimming did not feel the rover pass was value for money on our part
Lara (13 April 2018)

Great holiday and lovely setting. staff great
Diane from East Kilbride (13 April 2018)

First time at lochgoilhead lodges but won't be the last.kids thoroughly enjoyed it.so much to see and do.the trail walks are a must, idyllic picturesque must see views.best way to be near nature.
Debbie from Glasgow (13 April 2018)

Staff amazing, lodge and hotub awesome. . the park was immaculate. Only downside was all leisure amenities had to be paid for, nothing was part of the holiday price.
Stuart (13 April 2018)

Family easter break, premier 2 caravan was immaculate and stunning location, would recommend to anyone. . only downside we had when trying to book a couple of the activities on site they weren't available and our daughter was quite annoyed she couldn't go on the crazycarts. also the funhouse was limited to what you could go on due to broken machines and the games machines were all very expensive!
Paula from Ayrshire (09 April 2018)

Excellent place with everything you need from newspapers to stunning views to nights out.
George from Warrington (02 April 2018)

This place was beautiful and the staff were very nice. Planning another trip.
Stacy from Doncaster (30 March 2018)

Great place for kids staff very helpful and friendly. Some beautiful places within a short drive.
Margaret from Whitburn (30 March 2018)

Absolutely brilliant weekend break for our young family. Osprey vip 6 was great and hot tub dashed and private. Entertainment staff were amazing and can't thank them enough for running the sessions even when arthur was only child booked on. Pirate was puffed out by end of session chasing him around the arcades!
Gordon (26 March 2018)

Fab time with family, nice walks, peaceful setting, plenty to do and see, and short drive to nearest small towns.
Shona from Glasgow (23 March 2018)

Stayed in the platinum albatross lodge which was wonderful. very cosy and lovely hot tub, american freezer and very good cooking facilities. we were there at the beginning of march and it was very quiet, although we did go down to the evening entertainment and had a good time with lauren. the swimming pool, jacuzzi etc is nice, could do with a drinking water machine. would go back again, although it is a bit of a journey up the single track road.
Shona (16 March 2018)

We stayed in an osprey lodge - very well equipped only downside was that they showers were not electric and with 5 adults needing to shower the hot water would run out before we all had washed.
June from Edinburgh (12 March 2018)

Loved location good value for money & great on site facilities. Couldn’t praise staff enough very friendly & food was amazing .
Roma from Lanarkshire (05 March 2018)

Best holiday for the kids and I have to say the kids entertainer lauren is great really spent alot of time with the kids and for that alone we will be returning.
Scott from Glasgow (26 February 2018)

Great location to go and relax
Mark (26 February 2018)

Fantastic location and great facilities. Would definitely recommend
Rebecca (25 February 2018)

We was there for 3 nights and paid full price and we are from england and our half term hols was the week after the scotish hols and to our surprise and massive disapointment nothing on during the day and evening and not a lot of food left,,,,,, rubish!!!!!!!
Jason from Mossley/ Oldham (23 February 2018)

We are regular visitors to this site, attracted by the peace and beauty of the area. we like the off season, when fewer facilities also bring fewer visitors and greater peace. Our hot tub lodge was, as always, well equipped and clean. we had a major issue- the dismantling of the lodge next door. a result of lack of communication between two parts of the business, it did spoil a day of our holiday, but we welcomed the prompt response to our complaint. on being made aware of the issue, we were immediately upgraded to a superior lodge in another part of the park, a lodge so wonderfully situated that we are actively seeking to book it again for next year- this time at our cost. things do go wrong sometimes- we believe you have to judge on how those things are dealt with, and we feel we were fairly dealt with.
Jillian from Central Scotland (23 February 2018)

Excellent lodge in superb location! tricky road leading to site! staff were very helpful! only downside was the food, was ok but nothing great!
David from Ayrshire (19 February 2018)

A great location, beautiful view and a lovely interior to the caravan. Bed a bit uncomfy but apart from that the caravan was very well equiped and warm. Although there was upgrading work going on, the estate was mainly peaceful during the week but got much busier at the weekend. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A big bonus for us was having our dog so warmly welcomed into the cosy fireside bar! had steak pie and fish and chips by the fire and it was amazing!! thanks for a great few days drumsynie.
Gordon from Glasgow (10 February 2018)

Facilities look to being upgraded. I hope so anyway. swimming pool completely unsuitable for disabled access. General access to leisure centre is poor for disability. Loads of steps. Lodge was great. Although tv reception is very poor. And little choice. No sky. Restaurant food was average and over priced.
Steven (05 February 2018)

Friendly professional staff, good clean lodge, slightly dated decor but didn't detract from the enjoyment of the holiday experience
Thomas from Troon (03 January 2018)

Very disappointed, not what it used to be like .
Leigh (29 December 2017)

What a fantastic stay. . the staff in all areas are so helpful and caring. I’d read reviews about the roads leading in being narrow and windy, but didn’t experience any problems. It snowed while we were there, and the highways were so on top of gritting the roads, they were absolutely fine. The area is stunningly beautiful. We took some amazing pictures of the tranquil lake and gorgeous scenery. . our mobiles had no signal while we were there (i was told tesco and o2 don’t get reception) but for us, that was the beauty of it. . we will be returning.
Allana from Rochdale (29 December 2017)

Loved our girls xmas holiday weekend. Didn’t actually leave the lodge as there was no need. we would love to book it again for winter 2018.
Kirsty from Ayrshire (04 December 2017)

What and amazing place! lodge was stunning and hottub made it even better xx
Lisa from Paisley (04 December 2017)

Beautiful setting and really lovely staff. Also, very clean and comfortable accommodations. The only two issue were children weren't allowed in the hot tub, sauna, or steam room. For this reason, I might consider a different place for the next visit. we paid £20 to use the swimming facilities for the weekend and there were few other people there and yet my children with supervision weren't allowed to use facilities. I thought that a bit silly. . also, there isn't much hot water in the lodges so after two showers, it's pretty much done for a good hour.
Sharon (27 November 2017)

Lovely location and fantastic accommodation will definitely be back.
Michelle from Motherwell (27 November 2017)

Paid £15 for wifi that worked intermittently. . could do with somewhere to hang up your wet coats. . got takeaway from the coffee shop. Burger arrived without the top part of the bun, and one meal missing. Had to go back to get it replaced and food then cold by the time we got it back to the lodge.
Gillian from Kilwinning (20 November 2017)

This was our second stay this year and we had a great time. We requested lodge 12 as previous but were allocated 11. This lodge was not as well equipped and a bit run down compared to no. 12. The shower and hot water in the main bathroom was scalding and appeared not to be able to be controlled, this was reported. A few of the kitchen utensils were chipped and cracked and should have been binned. We had insufficient cutlery also. We had a great time but felt for the price of the lodge the housekeeping and maintenance should be much better
Linda from Glasgow (13 November 2017)

This was the weekend ' that all us girls were waiting on ! on arrival the shower room were not cleaned properly to our standard! corners filthy on the decking outside there was rubbish left from people who were in before! straws , streamers and shot glasses ever were! rug in main living room needs put in the bin ! in between doors filthy look I would not be bothered if it was not for the money we paid for this weekend! we are all hard working people! and I thought this would have been much cleaner! shame on the owners! if you are going to drop your standards!!
Linda from Glasgow (06 November 2017)

It was a first for three couples to have a holiday together. The accommodation - the albatross 3 was perfect - spacious and with three onsuite bedrooms the facilities were excellent for us all. The large fridge, dishwasher and washing machine was a welcomed addition.
Elizabeth (06 November 2017)

Lodge was not in the best location could have been a much better view from a vip lodge. Water pressure was not enough to operate 2 showers at once not alone 4 at once. Hot tub shut off 1 hour before 12 o clock loosing us 1 hour per day
Euan from Turriff (06 November 2017)

We had a great holiday and hoping to return in may, staff were great
Melissa from Aberdeen (27 October 2017)

Amazing place. Stunning scenery. Total relaxation.
Phillip from Maidstone (27 October 2017)

We had a lovely holiday here. Beautiful scenery & peaceful setting. Lodge was clean, roomy & modern spec. Hot tub fantastic. . swimming pool was great for the whole family. . had a few nice meals in the rob roy bar, but prefared the short walk to the local pub ‘the goil inn’. which was also part of argyle holidays group.
Michelle from Derbyshire (27 October 2017)

Fabulous 4 days days great place and location, the only thing I can complain about is we were woken up every morning early by the work men setting off to work who were staying in the caravan beside us not what you want when your on your holiday, other then that we would highly recommend this place.
Claire from Leeds (27 October 2017)

Too remote for us but the staff were so friendly and helpful and we thought our accommodation was excellent. Best caravan i've ever stayed in, very modern and exceptionally clean.
Nicola from Edinburgh (20 October 2017)

This is our 3rd o 4th visit, we enjoy the scenery and location and the availbility of activities, childrens disco etc.
Lorraine from Milton Of Campsie (20 October 2017)

Had a great weekend with the family staying in 4 bedroom drimsynie court 2. Accommodation a bit dated, particularly kitchen and bathrooms, but nice and clean and bags of room. Facilities for kids good, and overall experience good. Would certainly return, and recommend for short break.
William from Glasgow (16 October 2017)

Paying extra for archery and swimming let me feeling ripped off
Paul from Tillicoultry (16 October 2017)

We had a lovely 3 night break in october 2017. The lodge was bigger than we imagined and warm only down sides were looking a bit tired, poor pressure on showers and we were told to bring towels but not told to bring bath mats, therefore it was very difficult after a shower not to slip. I will remember that for next time. Very quiet and absolutely beautiful views/surroundings. We did lots of walking.
Laura from Edinburgh (16 October 2017)

Loved our holiday only small thing is lodge needed new blinds they where a bit dirty but overall i'll be back.
Leanne from Loch Goilhead (13 October 2017)

Great holiday
Samantha (13 October 2017)

Lovely staff lovely lodges in a great location. So many great walks to go on too.
Ryan from London (09 October 2017)

I loved it didn't want to leave.staff so friendly and helpful.will definitely be booking again.
Dawn from Coventry (29 September 2017)

Excellent holiday except for weather would recommend . to other people good facilities andfood at bar restaurants was good. Had a very good weekend. Sorry about the wether
John from Glasgow (25 September 2017)

We have been coming to lochgoilheadv& staying in the log cabins over a number of years now. we love the location, the facilities are great & members of staff are always helpful. . the log cabins are always spotless & we loved having the hot tub this year. . the only downside I would say is the price you pay for the pool. I know that vouchers are included for food discount but my own personal preference would be just to pay an amount for a swim. however, it doesn't deter us from using the pool.
Stephen from East Lothian (18 September 2017)

My husband, sister and myself loved our stay at lochgoilhead. Our caravan was spotlessly clean and the views were spectacular. We had a lovely stay. Thank you
Susan from East Kilbride (16 September 2017)

The premier caravan was very comfortable and warm.
Sarah (15 September 2017)

We stayed in a one of the court houses which was clean and well laid out. Felt if there would have been 8 may have been cramped. Lovely surroundings, didn't realise towels weren't included so had to hire them. Wifi not great in the lounge where you can take dogs. There was a wedding on in the restaurant, would be nice to have notice advising of this as we had planned to eat there that night. On a whole we enjoyed the break the location is ideal for us.
Jenny from Lancaster (08 September 2017)

Fantastic place been for the past 5 years.
Irene from East Kilbride (04 September 2017)

Really nice holiday. excellent facilities. Clean, modern, pleasant spacious accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff. entertainment and kids activities were a lot of fun! beautiful views and grounds!
Avishai from Prestwich, Manchester (04 September 2017)

Lovely place but hard to get to clean caravan lodges look nice expensive for passes to games etc
Anthony from Carlisle (04 September 2017)

Fantastic accommodation, really friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location, great leisure facilities and children's entertainment
Sharon from Bangor, Down (02 September 2017)

Beautiful views from the lodge.(10) the lodge was clean and well equipped. Disappointed the italian restaurant was closed due to staff shortage. Reception staff very knowledgeable regarding local area.
Margaret from Mansfield (02 September 2017)

Fantastic park in beautiful surroundings.
Trudi from Preston (02 September 2017)

We had a great holiday in august and would definitely come back. The location was amazing and there was plenty to do. We paid for a rover pass at £125 which we thought was very expensive. We only used the pool once but that was our fault really as we were too tired after all the walking we did. We did not go with the intention of walking , especially with our 14yr old son, but we loved it. The caravan was immaculate and overlooked the river. The only downside was the crockery- no pan big enough to make a decent meal and the knives used to chop were useless. There were only tiny glasses so we ended up buying a pint glass and a sharp knife!
Marie from Bolton (02 September 2017)

Great location to escape the rat race
Peter from Birmingham (01 September 2017)

Lovely site and nice staff
Julie from Gateshead (01 September 2017)

We loved our stay. Lodge was spotless and hot tub a real treat. Very comfortable spacious accommodation. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant decor needs updating but otherwise lovely meals and great atmosphere. We would love to return
Lisa from Cramlington (01 September 2017)

Stunning location, great accommodation and fantastic staff
Debbie from Essex (01 September 2017)

The most beautiful place I have ever been too. Our lodge was very clean and much bigger than I thought it would be. The staff were really helpful and the children's entertainment was good fun. The restaurant was pretty good. my only issue was paying to use the swimming pool, £28 for 1 adult and 2 children to swim and that was for 3 set days couldn't use the pool on the other days. Some of the activities were a bit overpriced but they are good fun. Overall a fantastic place to stay we will most definitely be going back.
Melissa from Horsham (01 September 2017)

The albatross lodge for 10 people we stayed in was excellent .the 5 bedrooms were very spacious each having its own shower. The position of the lodge was great next to a stream . you can walk into the hills straight out of the lodge , fishing on the loch was good and a village pub is a short walk around the head of the loch .plenty of activities to keep you busy . overall a great location to enjoy the beauty of scotland .
Brian from Billingham (01 September 2017)

Excellent site, beautiful location & fantastic caravan. Staff friendly, welcoming & helpful. . swimming pool charges a complete rip off.
Roberta from Marple (01 September 2017)

Unfortunately we were placed in the first lodge on the park, it was on the roadside and road noise was awful. Whilst it should be a quiet location, the main traffic starts at 7am, and is constant for a couple of hours, but traffic 24/7 , and makes eating on the decking not a enjoyable experience, a relaxing holiday was certainly spoilt by it, to the fact we came home a night early.
Rachel from Lancaster (01 September 2017)

Caravan very good and clean, some staff seem to treat you as aliens when they here an english accent.. park nice and great views, park to isolalated for us..
Gary from Manchester (01 September 2017)

The lodge was amazing. Clean and well looked after. The tub was serviced daily and plenty of towels for our duration. The on site entertainment could be improved e.g kid friendly sports activities and larger place facilities for the younger children; however it was a lovely, quiet break. I also recommend an improvement with the shop. There was very little to buy e.g. Souvenirs and meats and as we were so far away from the shops it would be ideal to have some of what we need on site. We wasn't aware of the asda delivery until our last day.
Marie from London, Parsons Green (28 August 2017)

We found it lovely to have all the space because there were only two of us, but it meant it was expensive. I really didn't expect to pay extra for the pool, sauna and gym either, I felt it should be included for the price we paid. The drinks in the bar were extortionate which was a shame because the food was really good value for money. The staff in the bar and snack area were really good and very friendly and helpful, but I found the reception staff less helpful. The builders were a pain as we were right opposite the car park, they spoilt the view and woke us up between 6.30 and 7 am every day when they arrived even though we were informed by email they would only be on site between 8am and 6pm. We were on holiday it would have been nice to lie in for a change! also the grass strimmer was used on our last friday in the pouring rain and he hit a stone which flew into the lodge window, narrowly missing our motorbike. It was ok for him as he had safety gear on! the italian restaurant was also closed for the week that we were there which was very disappointing as it meant less choice of places to eat. The scenery is fabulous and we did enjoy our holiday, but we wouldn't go again for the reasons listed above.
Elizabeth from Driffield (26 August 2017)

Very disappointed with overall experience. The was a italian restaurant advertised as open 5 days but when we went it was closed and was told it was only open sat and sun that was our first disappointment 2nd was I wanted a girly treat for me and my daughter to find the nail technician only did 2 days a week 2nd disappointment then we fancied the quad biking to be told no sorry thats not on 3rd disappointment had a problems at the till regarding food, also drinks varied in price each night even though we had the same. wanted to go swimming for an hour but we wasnt prepared to pay £32 so another disappointment the kids wanted to play on the slot machines while waiting for food to find most had out of order on them or just didnt work. we couldn't wait to get off the sight, we ate out 5 night out of the 7 in the surrounding area to het better food
Adrian from Rufford (26 August 2017)

We had a lovely family holiday with argyll forest walk and benmore botanical garden. All the facilities were good in the cottages.
Bettahalli from Harrogate (25 August 2017)

Lovely holiday. Ben was a fantastic staff member. Lodge had a few issues but were sorted.
Tracy from Brigg (25 August 2017)

The most beautiful scenery in an idyllic area.. the perfect escape from modern day convenience and technology. An ideal holiday park for children to be able to explore and be children. . entertainment ok. Bar prices reasonable. Food on site tasty. . accommodation clean and tidy, . facilities good but pricey (you have to purchase a rover pass at £145 per week to use things that are usually included in price at the company's holiday parks) . there is a £100 deposit that is payable on arrival which i'm still waiting to be returned to my bank account a fortnight after the holiday, the holiday park cannot solve it and apparently neither can my bank; frustrating and apparently unsolvable. . i'd stay again if there wasn't the issues with deposits and knowing that I wouldn't pay to use facilities which were cold (pool) and kids used for free (play areas)
Sarah from Teesside (25 August 2017)

A lovely location with excellent accommodation and facilities. We had two children (ages 10 and 8) and they had plenty to do. The pool was good with some activities specially for the kids. I would recommend the accommodation especially the chalets.
Stuart from Preston (25 August 2017)

We enjoyed our stay. The lodge was fantastic but I feel it was a little overpriced as were food and drinks in the entertainment centre. If we stayed again we would perhaps come as a bigger group so it would work out cheaper.
Gillian from Perth (25 August 2017)

Great location and overall excellent. some of the bar/food staff seemed very grumpy, especially compared to the entertainment staff - but save for that it was great.
Graeme (25 August 2017)

Can't fault the caravan we stayed in, it was spotless and in excellent condition. The surroundings were stunning. the facilities let it down though and the signs everywhere telling you everything including crazy golf, sauna etc cost extra really put us off. The cost of swimming at £8 per adult per swim was ridiculous given the limited size and facilities of pool (which was freezing and too cold for little ones). whilst the staff individually were helpful and friendly there was a distinct feeling that there was low moral throughout the park. A few instances happened where staff, particularly bar and restaurant staff were overheard airing their grievances in ear shot of the customers. The choice of menu was limited and I would suggest that a broader menu including more healthy options for both kids and adults would be beneficial, not all kids (and parents) want to eat chips all the time. We would come back but at the cost we paid we would have expected the facilities to be far superior.
Nicola (25 August 2017)

We stayed in a ptarmigan lodge with the most spectacular views of the loch and mountains. lodge was spotlessly clean and equipment was more than adequate. shop on site was really well stocked. rained for the whole of our week but still had an amazing time and made good use of the hot-tub.
Mark from Nottingham (25 August 2017)

Great holiday in a beautiful spot. Lots to do on site and in the surrounding area. All the staff were incredibly helpful and really customer focused. Only blip was that we wanted to try the italian restaurant but could never find it open! would definitely go back.
Matthew from Lincoln (25 August 2017)

Lodge and park facilities good but too remote for us as a family
Norman from Graham (25 August 2017)

Lodge lightly dated, t that was fine as we argue dg with s.facilities are great, but some were not available, like quadbiking and crossbows, which was disappointing. Meals were nice, but overpriced. Location was fantastic. Love this site for the views alone.
Geraldine (21 August 2017)

Wonderful family holiday in a beautiful setting.
David (21 August 2017)

Had a wonderful weekend. Caravan was just out wrapper, most comfortable van we've ever booked. Had everything we needed and more. . recommend to family & friends. Won't hesitate to book again,. thank you, evelyn
Evelyn from Paisley (21 August 2017)

Great last minute get away. Great for exploring the local area. Recommend getting to see the lochs especially loch lomond as there's so much to do.
Kelly from Norwich (19 August 2017)

We stayed in lochan cottage which is not actually part of the holiday park, but is located on a nearby farm which is the offices of the holiday park. after paying for the 4 days we then had to pay £5 per day for gas and electricity. we found that all the radiators / towel rails had been closed down at the valves. The cottage was very cold so I had to open up the valves to get the heating working. the cooker in the kitchen had no markings for the hobs / oven / grill so had to play about to get the correct settings and then had to guess what temperature setting to use as there was no markings. the road to the cottage was very busy all day long with vans / diggers and works vehicles. Also the hot tub had no canopy over it which meant it couldn't be used to its full potential, as we would have to walk through the living room dripping with water as it was raining very heavy. two of the bedrooms had issues with the mirrored wardrobe doors hanging off the tracks. the main bedroom had some dampness and the seals on the shower cabinet were broken. Also the panoramic views over lochgoilhead was obstructed by a badly placed bush.
Robert from Livingston (18 August 2017)

Sadly rained all the time. The golf course is lovely but waterlogged. Walking is good staff are fabulous. Felt the place needed an upgrade. But dave by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff
Graeme (18 August 2017)

Location was stunning views from lodge across the loch was superb hot tub was fantastic. Loved my stay would definitely book again.
John from Glasgow (18 August 2017)

We booked a 4 night stay in the lapwing premier vip with hot tub. It's was beautifully clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a broken blind in the kitchen and a small problem with the fridge door which we reported to reception shortly after arrival which was dealt with and repaired without delay. All the staff were helpful and welcoming and very approachable. The accommodation was good value for money but the added extras to use the facilities does make for quite a pricey holiday if you choose to use them however we didn't use them for these reasons and spent a lot of time exploring the area around the estate. The walks and views are breathtaking from every corner of loch goil and there are walking trials for every walking ability. Overall I would highly recommend the holiday village. We can't wait to visit again next year.
Vicky from Radstock (18 August 2017)

Really enjoyed our stay at lochgoilhead despite a few issues when we arrived about the cleanliness of the lodge, dirty finger marks all over the windows, on doors, and other surfaces, it was quite bad, I spoke to reception straight away, someone did come but didn't do a great job, I ended up cleaning doors and other surfaces that we were touching a lot myself then complained again the next day, they then came back a second time and did another clean. We just tried not to let that spoil our stay, didn't want to become obsessed with place being dirty. That aside the lodge had everything we needed, and was actually very nice. Facilities were fine, should be really good once all the building work is finished, this didn't really disturb us which had been a concern. Setting is lovely, all that west coast rain we had didn't spoil our stay! don't think we saw the place at its best due to the things I have mentioned but we went for a relaxing time and that's what we had.
Derek from Tranent (18 August 2017)

We loved everything about the caravan entertainment the only let down was the food very disappointing in the complex
Grace from Dumfries (18 August 2017)

Beautiful place,. kids loved it,my wife loved it all happy.
John from Glasgow (14 August 2017)

Brilliant location and scenery, nice accommodation but staff looked demotivated and were not overly helpful. Food in the restaurant was poor
Jim from Perth (14 August 2017)

Nice spacious lodge private, peaceful and pleasant surroundings
Karen from Castleford (14 August 2017)

The lodges were very comfortable, surroundings beautiful. Could do with some more facilities onsite, especially that allows dogs. I do understand that building work was taking place in the central area, hopefully that will increase the facilities available that can accomodate the numbers of people staying on site. Would definitely return though, staff were lovely and overall experience was amazing.
Camille from Bromsgrove (12 August 2017)

Lovely site and fantastic caravan, we were very impressed with the quality of the furnishings. beautiful views and walks on the site and the local pub is definitely worth a visit. the only negative comment is the price for using the leisure facilities especially the swimming pool. it's a shame this isn't included in the price of the holiday rental.
Arwel from South Wales (12 August 2017)

Great surroundings and caravan fine however food in restaurant below standard and annoyed having to pay extra for swimming pool.
Simon (12 August 2017)

Great place. Lovely area. Did not agree with having to pay for things like crazy golf etc.. thought that should be included in price. Accommodation excellent.
Craig from East Kilbride (11 August 2017)

Totally love our cabin this is second time I have stayed there, found it very expensive for the 4 nights which would put me off staying again but the surroundings and cabin are amazing
Lesley from Tranent (11 August 2017)

Fantastic location and gorgeous surroundings. we loved the amount of activities available on site and had a great week. the only downside was the negativity of some of the staff with lots appearing miserable and demotivated which had a big impact on the children's discos and family fun times in the evening. the events manager (chris), ben (bike instructor) and lauren were great but they lacked support and enthusiasm from other staff members who stood around looking bored and were very unhelpful. The whole site had a very low energy this year compared to our holiday last year which was a shame. however, we still enjoyed a lovely holiday thanks to the surroundings and facilities and the effort of a select few (thanks chris, lauren and ben!).
Gemma from Tamworth (04 August 2017)

Beautiful location and, although it was a little more remote than we expected, there were plenty of activities on site to keep a 3 year old entertained for a few days.
Claire from County Durham (04 August 2017)

We were in an eagle vip lodge which was a bit dated, there should also be non slip strips on the decking boards surrounding the not tub
Bryan from Prestwick (04 August 2017)

Great view, clean and modern lodge with an awesome hot tub.
Ian from Newmill (04 August 2017)

While our lodge was nice, due to the wet weather we felt a tumble dryer would have been a welcome addition to the lodge to help dry the kids wet clothes. . . we dined in the restaurant the first night but never again as food was awful.
Margaret from Kirkcaldy (04 August 2017)

Beautiful place loved everything about it only slight issue was at hottub was very slippery and decking could do with rubber mats down
Hannah from Glasgow (31 July 2017)

We stayed in a lapwing lodge. The setting next to the stream was idyllic. The hot tub was secluded and serviced daily. The inside of the lodge was fitted out to a high standard. I thought the electricity should have been included in the price. The sorts facilities and pool was all extra and I did not think it was worth the money. We opted to pay as we used the facilities rather than a weeks pass as this suited our circumstances. The lack of phone signal made for a really relaxing time and you could get your fix of technology from the free wifi in the main building.
Paul from Clacton (29 July 2017)

Had a fantastic holiday, lovely area. The lodge was lovely and very wekk equiped.only complaint would be the service in restaurant was poor, long wait for service, had to repeatedly get up to look for staff. The food was very good when arrived though.
Julie from Horsham (29 July 2017)

4 day holiday was good. Weather was terrible, but not your fault. It meant we were unable to take advantage of many outdoor activities. 350 mile journey each way makes it unlikely we would visit again. It was really the hot-tub that tempted us to book. It would have made it much much better if you had a large (collapsible) umbrella over the hot-tub for use in inclement or (god forbid) sunny days.
Roger from Barnsley (28 July 2017)

The place was amazing the caravan was imaculate and very nice the only downfall was the service of the food in the resturant I was there for my sons birthday and we waited 55 mins for the food and when we got it half of it was the wrong order, burnt and generally not up to standard we were not very happy as it was a special occasion.
Margaret from Lochgoilhead (28 July 2017)

Beautiful scenery with good walks. centre has a good range of activities and entertainment for families however I think the pool should be included in the price or at least some passes for it.
Tanya from Irvine (28 July 2017)

Lodge we used is showing wear and tear, requires a spruce up. Again the games room equipment is showing some ageing. Pool table balls not operating correctly as an example.
William (24 July 2017)

The place was beautiful and would be ideal if you had no children and just wanted to relax. too far out, remote and disconnected from the world for us, the italian was not open even though our holiday was in july, would have been a nice change from the only café/restaurant.
Kirsty from Rochdale (21 July 2017)

We had a brilliant holiday, the location and lodge we stayed in was outstanding. The shows in the evening were also brilliant. Only negative was the restaurants. We had to wait ages to place our food order, for example, one day I waited 40 mins in a queue to place an order for soup and a sandwich.
Craig from Glasgow (21 July 2017)

The caravan was lovely and the park is in a very picturesque location. The facilities do need updating, especially the pool, it's basic for a holiday park. Also all activities are chargeable, would have thought that the rover pass activities (soft play, pool, mini-golf) would have been free. Would work out an expensive holiday keeping children entertained in bad weather.
Sharon from Renton (17 July 2017)

Dated/mouldy and dilapidated cabins. Mice in cabins. Food on site is on par to weatherspoons
Martin from Airdrie (17 July 2017)

We had a wonderful weekend at your lovely campsite. the caravan was stunning, it had everything we needed for the weekend. the kids loved the entertainment and activities, although we did feel having tompay for the karts was annoy steep when you already paid for the pass. on a while we had a great weekend and would definitely go back again or to one of your sister sites.
Margaret from Aberdeen (17 July 2017)

A beautiful place with plenty to do. the chalet was clean and all the staff were very accommodating. the restaurant was excellent.
Arlene from Dundee (14 July 2017)

I enjoyed the week spent at lochgoilhead lodges and would return. the holiday centre enjoys a scenic setting at the loch head and offers a wide range of activities for both young and old. the lodge was comfortable, if a bit dated, and provided satisfactory accommodation. the amenities available include the rob roy lounge where good quality food is available throughout the day. very family friendly atmosphere exists here with a big effort being made to keep youngsters happy. very friendly and helpful staff always on hand.
Gordon from Aberdeen (14 July 2017)

The caravan was lovely, really modern, spacious, clean and comfy. I am usually pretty fussy with beds, but I had no complaints, mattresses were comfortable. I couldn't fault the accommodation. Right next to loch goil too, with plenty to do.
Customer 118 (10 July 2017)

Impressed with size of lodge and parking. Views spectacular. Building going on, but didn't affect us in any way. In saying that, we were out and about all day. Lodge decor a little tired, but understandable as was a pet friendly lodge. . the swimming pool and facilities were lovely after a day's hiking, but would have liked to have seen them included in the price. . the goil inn pub very friendly and welcoming. They also bring your furry friend a bowl of water and biscuits while you dine. Also free wifi available, which is great if you have a surly teenager with you. . the shop on site has a decent range and is surprisingly, reasonably priced. We booked zombie paint balling at inverary and we all loved it. . the waterfall walk is spectacular, but beware of midgie flesh eaters. The cobbler is a fab hike, a bit challenging if not used to climbing. Initially booked holiday thinking that we could go quad biking only to find out they had stopped doing this, although was still on website.
Margo (10 July 2017)

We took my little granddaughter who is 5 years old. She loved all the kids activities, especially the soft play and the swimming pool. . the caravan we had was absolutely spotless and had everything you would need. The park is in a breathtaking location by the loch. We all loved everything about our holiday and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Elaine from Lochgoilhead (10 July 2017)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodation was brilliant, very clean. Staff were excellent. Kids absolutely loved it. Will be back for sure
Paula from Ayrshire (10 July 2017)

The most beautiful location tainted only slightly by accommodation which is now looking (and feeling) a bit tired. We needed to point out two or three issues to reception, none of which would spoil our holiday and all of which were promptly resolved. Otherwise i'd highly recommend this place.
Ian from Gateshead (08 July 2017)

We paid a large amount for 1 week in a 2 bedroom lodge. We paid at time of booking and a week before the holiday after reading the very small print we realised that the swimming pool was not included and would have to pay a further substantial amount for passes for us to access this. As there were no decent photos of the pool on the website I did wonder what the pool would be like. It turned out that it was a big standard pool with no fun bits or slides. No shallow bits for toddlers (which we had 1 of!) and the water was so cold that the little one refused to get in after the first time as it was too cold. For a week away in scotland and for all the places we probably could have went for much cheaper with much better facilities (which would have been included in the initial price) I found this very poor. I think this park takes advantage of the beautiful location. I would not come to this place again.
Susan from Lanarkshire (08 July 2017)

Love lochgoilhead fantastic caravan and lodge been coming the last few years and will be going back for the years to come and I must say staff are fantastic
Susan from Glasgow (07 July 2017)

Overall the holiday was great, entertainment and facilitates were superb. there seemed to be some confusion around things like towels and what was included in the lapwing package, for the price more should have been included. I would definitely consider returning.
Neil from Aberdeen (26 June 2017)

Paid for the rover pass. Would of been better if there was more free activities included with it. Was looking forward to some table tennis over the weekend but was told there was no balls. . golf course was good but water logged due to heavy rain the day b4.
David from Elgin (12 June 2017)

Overall the place was clean and the standard of accomodation was fine. the facilities were all good, especially the pool. unfortunately, we booked there so as to be able to do specific activities, which were unfortunately not on (despite being timetabled). this was extremely disappointing for our children especially.
Claire from Leeds (05 June 2017)

A very enjoyable stay accommodation was very clean and everything as expected.
Christine from Barnham (03 June 2017)

Beautiful location. Facilities dated.
Andy from Milton Keynes (03 June 2017)

Good place for kids. Special thanks to steve
Andrei from Jersey (03 June 2017)

My only gripe to what was a great holiday was one of the single beds in our spa lodge was very poor quality. Mattres you could feel springs through it and base was not a good support. It didnt spoil our enjoyment but considering the price of the lodge, you would expect good quality beds
Maureen from Carluke (29 May 2017)

Lodge would benefit from a general update and some general maintenance. Although clean shower areas and staircase had several cobwebs. This would suggest these areas had not been cleaned prior to our stay. A small notice to detail breakfast menu had no children's choice. Overall an enjoyable stay.
Patricia (29 May 2017)

We had a great week away, great location and staff are so friendly. Looking at booking for next year
Eileen from Dundee (27 May 2017)

I dont feel that the pool should have been charged extra for. It was a nice pool but it was expensive for what it was.
Emma from Epsom (27 May 2017)

Disappointed dog owners were relegated to a dingy windowless room to eat. There is no health and safety requirement for a well controlled dog to be kept out of the cafe. I wanted to watch my grand daughter play. . lodge was comfortable, hot tub was hot, staff were friendly and helpful. . surprised use of the pool was not included in the price. . the sunshine brought the karaoke outside, very loud and couldn't hear the tv. Also came across a man urinating on the side wall of the hotel! too lazy to go inside and use the toilet! not the staff's fault but offputting nonetheless.
Valerie (26 May 2017)

Fantastic setting for a chilled out getaway. . didn'tuse on site facilities but plenty on offer if needed. Staff so polite and helpful an altogether fantastic break away from the bustle of modern day life . accommodation was first rate and could not even faulted .
Andrew from Grantham (26 May 2017)

Fantastic accommodation, hot tub was immaculate and in great working condition. The kitchen was great and having the dishwasher kept things easy. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant friday night and in the pub down the road on saturday. Decor in the pub was a bit disappointing, it was my mums birthday meal and it felt like we were in a village hall. The swimming pool was lovely and it was warm which was a bonus! . arcade games need updating due to new £1 coins. We'd have spent much longer there as it was good fun. Unfortunately dinner on the sunday night in the restaurant was a disaster and spoiled the trip. We had poor service from start waiting a long time for drinks, a fish and chips was missed off the order and we were offered a free round of drinks which never arrived. 2 burgers then arrived still raw and were sent back, no apology was given. When the fish did arrive it was tiny and the chips were frozen. When we asked for the fish to be changed we were told it's always like that to which we said to take it away and cancel it. The 2 replacement burgers never arrived and the rest of our party had finished eating. We said we were leaving without the 3 meals at which point the supervisor tutted and walked off to the kitchen. The waitress then took our payment of a £60 bill! which included a bottle of wine, a beer, a cider and coke and a kids juice, 2 mains and a kids meal. The waitress (who had been great on the friday) didn't apologise just laughed and said I don't know what's happened tonight it's all gone wrong. . we left with 3 family members having not eaten at all no compensation for our ruined meal and having paid a £60 bill!
Roger from Edinburgh (22 May 2017)

Lovely lodge amazing views definitely return.
Jacqueline (22 May 2017)

Stayed in caravan which was spotless, whole park was tidy and clean. Place was beautiful and peaceful but it's a little remote. Staff were helpful & a special mention for aaron who really went out his way to get people involved and was funny & entertaining. . I would have preferred to pay for everything at the time of booking and not have to pay for passes etc when we get there as the cost of the activities I found quite expensive. We ate twice at the pub and food was not the best, on first night the meat in the steak pie was hard and tough and we couldn't eat it. The 2nd time the food was better but we had to send starter back as it was the wrong one that had been served. . although we are on a break and not there to watch tv there was a day the rain was heavy and I found that the limited channels on the tv made it harder to keep a 9 year old amused especially when the wifi reception is so poor. I'd go back again if we got a deal but wouldn't pay the full price.
Jean from Glasgow (19 May 2017)

I was shocked when I was allocated the lapwing lodge, it smelt awful ( urine). never again will I stay here
Isobel from Glasgow (15 May 2017)

We had an amazing time and we plan to go back again
Michelle from Glasgow (12 May 2017)

Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable caravan, friendly staff.
Peter from The Netherlands (05 May 2017)

Picked a good time to go it wasn't too busy. Didn't use any facilities so cannot comment. Scenery was gorgeous. It was very relaxing and quiet at the time of our visit which was what we wanted.
Elizabeth from West Lothian (05 May 2017)

Great weekend break for 6 cabins fully equipped but a little tired. Expected the leisure centre to be included in price of cabin. Could be very expensive for a family and is a must to entertain children. Staff were great friendly and attentive
Linda from Glasgow (01 May 2017)

The fact in 2017 your lodges don't have wifi is a disgrace ,also electricity charge is very steep
Douglas (24 April 2017)

Nice pleasant surroundings with easy acccess to facilities and various entertainment. Good for family overall enjoyment.
Gordon from Denny (24 April 2017)

Excellent location, close to loch lomond, inveraray. Nice lodge with decent facilities. . good food and entertainment facilities nearby.
Vijay from London (24 April 2017)

The lodge was gorgeous great views and wee had a great holiday . the things that did make it not so good only one restaurant opened not advised other one was shut . says towels supplied I don't agree with this as given one hand towel one bath towel each for the week when you have paid the extra prices for the hot tub lodge with towels supplied . false information regarding towels and was not helped by the rep I spoke to she was very patronising and this is disappointing as I did pay a lot of money for my 4 days . love the place but not sure I will go back due to poor customer service .
Philip from Airdrie (21 April 2017)

Had a great time away with my family
Declan from Norwich (21 April 2017)

Nice place the only thing that let it down was that some things that were advertised ie quad bikes were not available?this was one of the main reasons we picked the site as well had my granddaughter and her boyfriend with us, both were very disappointed however the spa bath at the lodge made up a little bit they loved it.
