Another amazing holiday that we all thoroughly enjoyed. The caravan was spotless, grounds maintained beautifully. The new reception / bar / restaurant area are lovely. Most certainly recommend and will return.. hopefully squeeze one more in this year!
Nichola from Burnley (01 September 2018)

We arrived at 3.30pm knowing our lodge might not be ready as check-in is not until 4pm, went back about 4.20pm to be told they hadn't got the keys back from housekeeping. the lovely lady that saw us gave us a drinks voucher for either a free coffee/tea or juice and 5 mins later she came to find us telling us our lodge was ready. Apart from that minute blip everything was 110%.
Jennifer from Aberdeen (31 August 2018)

This holiday is suited to outdoor families and couples who like peace and tranquillity away from the hussle and bussle of life. Personally a bit too remote 20 mins up a single track road and too far from many amenities but could definitely see the attraction for people who enjoy the outdoor life. Have spoken to others who have been and they loved it so it is just a matter of personal taste.
Christine from Kirkcudbright (31 August 2018)

Beautiful location surrounding areas where picturesque staff where outstanding accommodation was absolutely spotless would recommend and I will return
Emma from Liverpool (24 August 2018)

This is a nice park, and getting there gives you the feeling that you are in the middle of nowhere when you arrive (6 miles down a single track road). this could be an issue on longer holidays where you want to travel further afield but was perfect for our 4 night trip. . the resort is nice with a river running through it and good overall facilities including a reasonably priced shop (which between that and the post office shop in town are the only ones for miles, so bring some shopping with you). the pool is good as is the jacuzzi and steam room and sauna. the play area is fine for a few minutes break from the kids as well. the kids visited the entertainment a couple of times and enjoyed the games, and we ate from the takeaway which was also perfectly fine. the costa coffee was good although it broke on one occasion and we were then charged full price for instant decaff coffee which wasn't so good.
Andrew from Newton-Le-Willows (24 August 2018)

Lovely setting and a well kept park, would visit again.
Andrew from Carnforth (24 August 2018)

Went last year beautiful scenic location everything to keep all entertained good value for money will be returning again next year
Karen from Castleford (20 August 2018)

Second time we’ve stayed in a caravan at drymsinie and it was brilliant
James (20 August 2018)

The laundry does not have enough machines and the shop adjacent won’t gives us the tokens even two hits before. The lady serving us at the shop was too rude, that needs to be addressed.
Dharmendra (18 August 2018)

We absolutely loved staying here! we stayed in a caravan and it was brilliant. Lots to do on site and most days we drove out to explore nearby places!
Claire from Manchester (17 August 2018)

Amazing all round . . a quiet geta meat with all home comforts. . lovely staff!!!!
Iain from Wakefield (17 August 2018)

Very beautiful location.
Nouman from Birmingham (17 August 2018)

All a bit dated
Dawn from Yorkshire (17 August 2018)

Not enough activities for kids if it is a rainy day same entertainment at night which we had already seen, might have been better to have kids disco. Should look into having things like zip wires etc in trees for families. Also pool not big enough for activities and swimming plus we were told we wouldnt have to book but on the last day it was raining and it was decided by the team that guests should book but no one told us this, so when we went up to go swimming 2 large families had booked the pool out? I was left with 2 very upset kids who were bored.
Valerie from Aberdeen (13 August 2018)

We had an amazing time at lochgolihead. it was a real treat to stay in such a special location.
Jess (11 August 2018)

Fabulous location, the lodge was extremely comfortable and the hot tub amazing. I would highly recommend it and would definitely go back but for longer.
Kerry from Carmarthenshire (10 August 2018)

Stunning location and beautiful complex. Facilities best suited for older children as lack of baby changing unit inside pool cubicles and pool quite deep for little ones. Great soft play though! activities are well varied, but quite over priced for some. . caravan was clean and modern. Evening entertainment was great, especially the magician and joe. My six and four year old boys loved it! . . would definitely recommend to others.
Clare (10 August 2018)

A lovely location for a holiday. The park is beautifully kept and the lodges are first class, very comfortable and a good size. We had a lodge with a hot tub which was first class. Had excellent views of both the surrounding pine forests and the loch. Entertainment on the park was good and the restaurant was first class with friendly staff, good food and a wonderful view of the loch. Although we didn't purchase the go active passes we found there was plenty to do in the surrounding area.
Maureen from Bedford (10 August 2018)

Great family weekend
Robert from Bridge Of Weir (06 August 2018)

Great views nice relaxing holiday with great accommodation.
Theresa from Airdrie (03 August 2018)

It rained every day and there needs to be more facilities for people with children when the weather is poor. Swimming pool could be larger and more imaginative. Check in later than expected. Location outstanding. Staff friendly. Caravan was very good.
Susan (03 August 2018)

Lovely place we stayed in bungalow was lovely
Hannah from Glasgow (30 July 2018)

A lovely place, clean, staff helpful, enjoyed our time there. . but what I do not get the extra gas/electricity extra charge, this should be in the price. Also the takeaway and restaurant should both be open later. Apart from that all good
Gary from Kirkcaldy (28 July 2018)

Excellent site, in a really beautiful setting .
Christine from Norwich (23 July 2018)

Had accommodation that allowed pets but were not aware of this as would of preferred none pet accommodation.also we were along side a family of 12 which was quite noisy after 11pm.did not sleep for the four days we were there.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Scotland (23 July 2018)

Poor service. Staff not very intetested if there was a concern. I dont feel kids should have to pay to use the soft play as we have to pay extra for everything. Also the price of swimming is atrocious. We should not pay more just to get some back in food vouchers. All I want iz to pay for swimming
Jennifer from Edinburgh (21 July 2018)

Beautiful lodge with spectacular scenery. Loved every minute of this, hot tub was a hit with my son. Meals at the view were delicious and staff lovely. Will definitely be back.
Jennifer from Perth (16 July 2018)

My party we're staying in lapwing lodge no.9. As soon as we opened the front door we were met with a terrible smell. It was throughout the lodge but the boiler cupboard in particular. I immediately complained to the maintenance team who agreed something was clearly wrong but could not offer alternative accommodation until the next day. We tried to mask the smell with disinfectant spray which they provided plus opened all windows but to no avail. As we were there to celebrate a 60th birthday we did not want to spoil the weekend so spent most of the weekend in the lodge next door which my sister and family had paid for. Although we were given £100 card to spend at the restaurant/bar I felt let down considering we had paid a lot of money to stay there. It was clear the lodge had not been properly prepared for occupation. The fridge/freezer was solid with ice too. Unfortunately members of our party developed sickness/diarrhoea which lasted for days after we left. The park itself was a beautiful setting as well as the new restaurant and bar which made the problems we encountered all the more frustrating.
Customer 28 from Glasgow (09 July 2018)

Waste of 2 days as check in is 4pm and check out 10pm. Would not recommend to anyone. Overpriced shop/restaurant/facilities. No value for money anywhere at this place. Wish I hadn't wasted my money.
Archie from Lochgilphead (09 July 2018)

Great family weekend
Frances from Coatbridge (02 July 2018)

I have stayed at drimsynie many times and this visit was by far the best. The improvements to the site are wonderful, the restaurant and the reception area are stunning and give it such a modern look. . . we did wake up one morning to no electricity, but it didn't ruin our experience. . I have always recommended drimsynie and will continue to do so.
Jacqueline from Motherwell (29 June 2018)

Stunning location.
Yvonne from Livingston (25 June 2018)

Lodges require updated they are a little tired
Patrica from Prestwick (22 June 2018)

The cottage we stayed in was immaculate, hot tub was amazing. the drive too lochgoilhead was beautiful and the surroundings and views were stunning. the restaurant we ate at wasn't the best at all, the waiting staff were great at rectifying the problem but we took enough food to do a self catering which I would say is better to do than what the food was in the restaurant as it all came out cold then they microwaved it. poor standard of food. on a last note, I am scottish so midgies dont tend to bother us but they were out in force. Go prepared with midgie repellent. all in all we will be back we just won't be eating in the restaurant.
Victoria from Airdrie (17 June 2018)

We enjoyed our weekend to all 100%! everything was perfect! exept miges!
Evita from Aberdeen (11 June 2018)

Perfect location, almost perfect cabin. Only one down fall was the ninja midgies! stopped us leaving the cabin to use the on site facilities. We even left the area for a day just to escape them. Why can’t the site use some kind of spray like they do in spain and turkey for the mosquitoes?
Fiona from Tullibody (11 June 2018)

Very tranquil if looking for getaway from huddle and bustle. Gorgeous scenery beautiful walks . if weather right can’t beat it who needs abroad
Helen from Coatbridge (11 June 2018)

Disappointed with the 'dog friendliness' as if you want to eat on site with your dog you can only order takeaway and this is not open every day.
Kathryn from Newcastle Upon Tyne (09 June 2018)

The whole experience was excellent, can’t wait to go back.
Martha from Long Melford (08 June 2018)

The last 5 miles of our 305 mile journey filled us with trepidation. However, on sighting the drymsinie estate, our fears were immediately dispelled. The location is fantastic and well worth the journey, the facilities brand new and suitable for all. The staff are so helpful and, finally, the lodge we had was comfortable and more than enough for our needs. We had a lovely holiday that was very relaxing and would recommend this place to families and couples alike.
Linda from North Wales (05 June 2018)

Decking was to small for all of us to sit around the table but everything else was great
Kelinda from Bracknell (02 June 2018)

The accomodation was sold as premier and this certainly didn't come up to standard. . restaurant was poor value and the service was poor
Margaret from Hartlepool (01 June 2018)

The lodges were very dated although very clean. Location, facilities and surrounding area were great.
Joanna from Cheshire (01 June 2018)

Last stayed 10 years ago and still outstanding park facilities and location 'away from it all'. . the just opened reception area and restaurant were a pleasant surprise. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Can definitely recommend a treatment in the relaxation spa. Pool area needs a refresh next please.
Adrian from Evesham (01 June 2018)

This was our fourth visit to lochgoilhead and not our last. The caravan was spotless, the grounds are beautifully maintained, staff are really friendly and the new reception and bar area are fantastic! such a beautiful place that we love so much. We will be back soon! :-)
Nichola from Burnley (01 June 2018)

Wow. Beautiful cabin. Well kitted out. Nice new reception and resteraunt on site.
Maureen (01 June 2018)

Fabulous holiday
Wayne (01 June 2018)

Perfect holiday apart from the midges those wee barstewards eat you alive
David from Richmond Yorkshire (01 June 2018)

Had a great 3 night break. The location is beautiful, the lodge with hot tub fantastic, the on site view restaurant aptly named, the treatment rooms and therapies were relaxing and plenty of walks with the dog. Left feeling relaxed and revived. Will definitely return.
Andrew from Carnoustie (28 May 2018)

Run down tired log cabin.
Carolyn (27 May 2018)

I love lochgoilhead, the scenery is outstanding. The site is clean and tidy situated in a lovely position overlooking loch goil. There's a week stoked wee shop and the new restaurant is good. The accommodation was excellent, very spacious with table and chairs on the decked area. In the words of arnie.. i'll be back!!
Brian from Erskine (21 May 2018)

Beautiful place and has just been renovated. My first time there and will definitely be back. Highly recommend
Nigel from Lockerbie (21 May 2018)

We had a lovely stay in an eagle lodge. it was clean, cosy and had everything we needed for out stay. the staff were lovely, shout out to coll for the archery lessons! great facilities in a beautiful surrounding, couldn't ask for more.
Susan from Edinburgh (04 May 2018)

Good for a weekend break
Eleanor from Paisley (23 April 2018)

Went for a well deserved weekend away in one of the lodges. Just what we needed, only negatives was because of where our lodge was situated all the neighbours could see you in the hot tub. Also there was no baby pool and the water was too cold in the main pool for her. Part from that though was great and the kids had a ball and really if there happy, we're happy.
Andy from Fife (15 April 2018)

Can’t fault the caravan and location food was lovely and decent unfortunately the amusements were a bit of a let down and may need to have some kind of organised rota for swimming did not feel the rover pass was value for money on our part
Lara (13 April 2018)

Great holiday and lovely setting. staff great
Diane from East Kilbride (13 April 2018)

First time at lochgoilhead lodges but won't be the last.kids thoroughly enjoyed it.so much to see and do.the trail walks are a must, idyllic picturesque must see views.best way to be near nature.
Debbie from Glasgow (13 April 2018)

Staff amazing, lodge and hotub awesome. . the park was immaculate. Only downside was all leisure amenities had to be paid for, nothing was part of the holiday price.

Stuart (13 April 2018)

Family easter break, premier 2 caravan was immaculate and stunning location, would recommend to anyone. . only downside we had when trying to book a couple of the activities on site they weren't available and our daughter was quite annoyed she couldn't go on the crazycarts. also the funhouse was limited to what you could go on due to broken machines and the games machines were all very expensive!

Absolutely brilliant weekend break for our young family. Osprey vip 6 was great and hot tub dashed and private. Entertainment staff were amazing and can't thank them enough for running the sessions even when arthur was only child booked on. Pirate was puffed out by end of session chasing him around the arcades!

Stayed in the platinum albatross lodge which was wonderful. very cosy and lovely hot tub, american freezer and very good cooking facilities. we were there at the beginning of march and it was very quiet, although we did go down to the evening entertainment and had a good time with lauren. the swimming pool, jacuzzi etc is nice, could do with a drinking water machine. would go back again, although it is a bit of a journey up the single track road.

We stayed in an osprey lodge - very well equipped only downside was that they showers were not electric and with 5 adults needing to shower the hot water would run out before we all had washed.

We was there for 3 nights and paid full price and we are from england and our half term hols was the week after the scotish hols and to our surprise and massive disapointment nothing on during the day and evening and not a lot of food left,,,,,, rubish!!!!!!!
Jason from Mossley/ Oldham (23 February 2018)

We are regular visitors to this site, attracted by the peace and beauty of the area. we like the off season, when fewer facilities also bring fewer visitors and greater peace. Our hot tub lodge was, as always, well equipped and clean. we had a major issue- the dismantling of the lodge next door. a result of lack of communication between two parts of the business, it did spoil a day of our holiday, but we welcomed the prompt response to our complaint. on being made aware of the issue, we were immediately upgraded to a superior lodge in another part of the park, a lodge so wonderfully situated that we are actively seeking to book it again for next year- this time at our cost. things do go wrong sometimes- we believe you have to judge on how those things are dealt with, and we feel we were fairly dealt with.

A great location, beautiful view and a lovely interior to the caravan. Bed a bit uncomfy but apart from that the caravan was very well equiped and warm. Although there was upgrading work going on, the estate was mainly peaceful during the week but got much busier at the weekend. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A big bonus for us was having our dog so warmly welcomed into the cosy fireside bar! had steak pie and fish and chips by the fire and it was amazing!! thanks for a great few days drumsynie.

Facilities look to being upgraded. I hope so anyway. swimming pool completely unsuitable for disabled access. General access to leisure centre is poor for disability. Loads of steps. Lodge was great. Although tv reception is very poor. And little choice. No sky. Restaurant food was average and over priced.

Very disappointed, not what it used to be like .

What a fantastic stay. . the staff in all areas are so helpful and caring. I’d read reviews about the roads leading in being narrow and windy, but didn’t experience any problems. It snowed while we were there, and the highways were so on top of gritting the roads, they were absolutely fine. The area is stunningly beautiful. We took some amazing pictures of the tranquil lake and gorgeous scenery. . our mobiles had no signal while we were there (i was told tesco and o2 don’t get reception) but for us, that was the beauty of it. . we will be returning.

Beautiful setting and really lovely staff. Also, very clean and comfortable accommodations. The only two issue were children weren't allowed in the hot tub, sauna, or steam room. For this reason, I might consider a different place for the next visit. we paid £20 to use the swimming facilities for the weekend and there were few other people there and yet my children with supervision weren't allowed to use facilities. I thought that a bit silly. . also, there isn't much hot water in the lodges so after two showers, it's pretty much done for a good hour.
Sharon (27 November 2017)

Paid £15 for wifi that worked intermittently. . could do with somewhere to hang up your wet coats. . got takeaway from the coffee shop. Burger arrived without the top part of the bun, and one meal missing. Had to go back to get it replaced and food then cold by the time we got it back to the lodge.

This was our second stay this year and we had a great time. We requested lodge 12 as previous but were allocated 11. This lodge was not as well equipped and a bit run down compared to no. 12. The shower and hot water in the main bathroom was scalding and appeared not to be able to be controlled, this was reported. A few of the kitchen utensils were chipped and cracked and should have been binned. We had insufficient cutlery also. We had a great time but felt for the price of the lodge the housekeeping and maintenance should be much better

This was the weekend ' that all us girls were waiting on ! on arrival the shower room were not cleaned properly to our standard! corners filthy on the decking outside there was rubbish left from people who were in before! straws , streamers and shot glasses ever were! rug in main living room needs put in the bin ! in between doors filthy look I would not be bothered if it was not for the money we paid for this weekend! we are all hard working people! and I thought this would have been much cleaner! shame on the owners! if you are going to drop your standards!!
Linda from Glasgow (06 November 2017)

It was a first for three couples to have a holiday together. The accommodation - the albatross 3 was perfect - spacious and with three onsuite bedrooms the facilities were excellent for us all. The large fridge, dishwasher and washing machine was a welcomed addition.
Elizabeth (06 November 2017)

Lodge was not in the best location could have been a much better view from a vip lodge. Water pressure was not enough to operate 2 showers at once not alone 4 at once. Hot tub shut off 1 hour before 12 o clock loosing us 1 hour per day

We had a lovely holiday here. Beautiful scenery & peaceful setting. Lodge was clean, roomy & modern spec. Hot tub fantastic. . swimming pool was great for the whole family. . had a few nice meals in the rob roy bar, but prefared the short walk to the local pub ‘the goil inn’. which was also part of argyle holidays group.
Michelle from Derbyshire (27 October 2017)

Fabulous 4 days days great place and location, the only thing I can complain about is we were woken up every morning early by the work men setting off to work who were staying in the caravan beside us not what you want when your on your holiday, other then that we would highly recommend this place.

Had a great weekend with the family staying in 4 bedroom drimsynie court 2. Accommodation a bit dated, particularly kitchen and bathrooms, but nice and clean and bags of room. Facilities for kids good, and overall experience good. Would certainly return, and recommend for short break.
William from Glasgow (16 October 2017)

Paying extra for archery and swimming let me feeling ripped off
Paul from Tillicoultry (16 October 2017)

We had a lovely 3 night break in october 2017. The lodge was bigger than we imagined and warm only down sides were looking a bit tired, poor pressure on showers and we were told to bring towels but not told to bring bath mats, therefore it was very difficult after a shower not to slip. I will remember that for next time. Very quiet and absolutely beautiful views/surroundings. We did lots of walking.
