The best little get away we've had
Dawn from Barnsley (03 September 2018)

Absolutely loved it there, staff were so friendly and helpful, booked again already for next year
Angela from Chesterfield (01 September 2018)

The site was nice hot tub outside was fab but the caravan was old and dated but it was clean and tidy would visit again but would book a lodge next time
Gillian (27 August 2018)

When we arrived we were told that the previous tenants had broken a window and the washer/dryer. we were assured these would be fixed asap. they were never fixed, we were not offered fresh towels and there was nowhere to dry wet towels and bathers. the cabins are close to the railway line and you can hear trains passing day and night. the smell coming from the local household recycling plant opposite the country park first thing in the morning was just horrible. I expected to open the doors and smell fresh yorkshire air not rotting food waste. on a plus side, I did point out that the main bathroom door could not be locked - because there was no lock. They did fix this within 24hrs.
Suzanne from Swansea Valley (25 August 2018)

Good location , the lodge we stayed in could have been cleaned alot better, and there wasnt any baking trays to use in the oven
Andrew from Bedford (18 August 2018)

The lodge was terrible, hot tub dirty on arrival, shower wouldnt turn off, water leak in walk in wardrobe and used as a dumping ground, cleaning chemicals stored in hall cupboard
Nadene from Darlington (17 August 2018)

Great place to stay very clean and tidy,
Brian from Lancaster (10 August 2018)

From start to finish this holiday was horrendous, we was left sat outside waiting to check in with one around tell us what was happening, we did then get in an hour late, when we did eventually get into the caravan it was horrible, the hot tub cover was broken which the manager told us the previous people had done and a new one would be with us the day after, this story as I found out had been told a few times before to other people staying on the park, second bedroom had a radiator missing and just the brackets hanging out of the wall which was a health and safety matter, as both our children were staying in that room, neither blinds worked in the bathroom or kitchen, the bathroom toilet flooded throughout the whole holiday leaving sewage all over the floor! when we reported the matters we was told it was because the seas pit needed emptying. There was no toaster or even grill pan in the grill part of the over to grill anything. Even the extractor fan was broken it didn’t turn on at all and there was a piece of glass missing from it. The hot tub failed it’s ph test on the third night of our stay, yet no one informed us so we was without the hot tub, then we still couldn’t use it because it was below the water level and the jets wouldn’t blow, so was just basically a pool. The lack of cutlery, pots etc is a complete joke! if you complain the reply you get from the manager is oh the clear should have sorted that who suprisnley is his wife and young son!
Lisa (10 August 2018)

We had a lovely holiday. It's a very small site with no facilities on site which suited us as it meant that it was a very quiet stay which suited us. We booked the classic 2 caravan which was basic but clean and comfortable. the bedding and towels were clean and fresh. . only negative was that there doesn't seem to be enough staff so the staff are run off their feet and when our hot tub needed chemicals we had to ask and then remind as it got forgotten a couple of times over the week. The staff were lovely but too much to do for the very few staff on site. . you also have to drive anywhere as it is a good distance out of town but again we didn't mind as it meant it was quiet. And it was only a 5 minute drive into briddligton or to the supermarkets or pubs for lunch. . we will definitely return.
Natalie from Shropshire (04 August 2018)

Pics looks so good till you get there and get put in a standard caravan with a standard old hot tub
Matthew from Birmingham (03 August 2018)

The picture online does not mirror what you walk int, not very clean, no basics like handwash, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets (as it has a dishwasher) which I never used, bin bags, some batb robes for hot tub, there were no mattress/pillow protectors, not what I expected, cracked window, knackered carpet, very small tv.
Lynne from Saffron Walden (03 August 2018)

Had a great time
John from Sunderland (27 July 2018)

The lodge was amazing and the hot tub the best. Very clean and simon was always help and could not do enough.
Nicky from Derby (21 July 2018)

Thanks
Ionel from Dunstable (21 July 2018)

The cabin was very spacious and had everything you needed, washing machine dish washer tv and large fidge and freezer. The hot tub was very clean and maintained every day by the staff.simon the site manager visited us every day to make sure everything was to our liking. The site was well matained with a large lake and numerous types of wild life. We will certainly be returning in the near future.
Alan from Hull (14 July 2018)

Lodge was very spacious both inside and outside. However equipment tired and have noticed that very basic and no little extras e.g welcome pack tea coffee washing up liquid which seems to be the case at most hoseason homes on various sites as though owners to park cant be bothered to do anything extra .the washing machine broken and didn't get fixed or offered any other facilitity.the key to lodge was the spare key and couldn't lock but they fixed with spray, however had to leave door open all week to allow access incase washing machine part came !!why didn't they get another one cut.the main difficulty were steps to lodge very narrow had to put foot on sideways and no handrail which was awful for elderly holiday makers, have never been to site that didn't have this. The hot tub was good but again positioned right next to the main road.
Helen (29 June 2018)

Lovely spot big cabin plenty of space. The ensuite has a shower over a bath ,as my mum has mobility problems she had to use the other one. There is shale next to the cabin, again a problem for people in a wheel hair or with mobility issues, plus 3 steps to the cabin.
Colette (16 June 2018)

We loved our stay at little eden country park. The lodge, (superior lodge 2 - lilac), was private and spacious and the park grounds were kept beautiful and tidy. the hot tub was on a large decked area and was both private and at a great height for getting in and out of. We would have liked a few more lodge comforts that we have enjoyed at other lodge holidays, e.g. Towels, iron, hair dryer and a clothes maiden, but on the whole most needs were thought of.
Alison from Bispham (01 June 2018)

Before we arrived, I was wary of some of the reviews that I had read, but we couldn’t have been any happier with what we were given. The view from the lodge was amazing and our little boy was so pleased to see the ducks and geese!. . when we went into the lodge, our minds were blown! it was more than we had expected, for a 2 bedroom lodge. It felt like home. . . we were presented with a very tidy, clean lodge. It is very open in the main living area. Cooking area/dining area and living room all had their own little sections. The hot tub was lovely during the day and night too. The lodge had fencing around the hot tub so it was a private area, which was nice. . . the bedrooms were very spacious and this particular lodge came with a walk in wardrobe and ensuite. The twin room was a very good size too, not cramped like a caravan. This room had a double wardrobe too. The main bathroom was a good size too. . . we would recommend that a lighting is put around the hot tub area, as when it does get dark you have to rely on the lights from inside the lodge to be able to be able to see outside.
Keely from Kent (19 May 2018)

Would not recommend this place to anyone. It has a lot of potential, however the staff are unprofessional and are dragging it down. We stayed in a lodge which was spacious however the en-suite had an awful smell (im guessing its related to damp), the lodge next door who appear to live there has a constant stream of cars coming and going making lots of noise, we arrived to a full dishwasher which we had to empty before we could have a drink or something to eat, our hot tub worked for 1 night and the rest of our 4 night stay we were offered the use of a hot tub across the park but is that practical with two children? no! we were told by management that we wouldn’t receive compensation for the fact we had no use of the hot tub, on check out we got offered a nights stay in one of the caravans on site. Hardly good enough when we would need to travel 3 hours to be there. Even a small amount of money back and a box of chocolates would have went down a lot better. It felt like they didn’t care about us as people and fobbed us off with something we clearly would not use instead of taking the time to be actually sorry and mean it.
Emma (27 April 2018)

Brilliant peaceful just what we wanted
Helen from Glasgow (21 April 2018)

Hardly any crockery or cooking equipment. No chopping board, so had to be really careful preparing food so did not damage worktop. Rubbish in ensuite bathroom left by previous occupants. Lodge could do with a good vacuuming. Little things which could be easily improved. I would recommend leaving information pack on kitchen counter so easily seen and include more information on local area and places nearby for eating out. . staff friendly, hot tub lovely.

After reading several bad reviews on this site, I was prepared ! but we had an absolutely great time. The staff were very helpful, site was clean & tidy. Accommodation was clean, tidy and hot tub had been cleaned and refilled (just had a short wait for it to heat up). the location of the site is great, kids indoor play area and sweet factory tour just around the corner. We did a day at brid, day at scarborough, and a day at flamingoland before heading south over humber bridge to butlins. . we stayed monday to friday and price was cheap, we booked mainly as a central hub because there are no pubs/food etc on site which is fine. We were happy to trip out in the car to the destinations mentioned. Some other reviews mention being in a brown caravan rather than a lodge, this isn’t the case. There are caravans, and 2 or 3 different lodges available to book, so they more than likely booked a caravan !. I am sure some people will expect more things to do on site and expect some sort of superior customer service, but the simple fact is, we stayed all week on a peaceful site, we had plenty of privacy and were left alone to enjoy the peace, the hot tub refill was fully explained on arrival and was fine for rest of our stay, so we had no need for any other issues to be sorted, but I am confident that they would have been sorted if any had arisen. . I was sceptical, but overall it was a very well priced good location and accommodation had everything we required with no issues.
Adrian from Keighley (13 April 2018)

We found the caravan break very over priced. We arrived for a 3 night stay. There was half a roll of toilet paper, no towels and barely any kitchen utensils to use. The sink had left over food in and the oven was dirty with a used pizza tray left inside.

The lodge was lovely we stayed in number 4, cleaning could have been better but overall we were pleased, however after the first night the hottub started playing up and we only managed to go in one more time during the next 3 days as it wasnt warming up properly. After complaining 3 times to the manager via the office and over the phone and him not coming. He knew as he never even acknowleged us when leaving.we decided to give it up as a bad job and we wouldnt stay there again. As the customer service leaves alot to be desired.

The staff are excellent extremely helpful. The problem we had was the lodge we stayed in, I thought it was very dated and in desperate need of an update old cloth on sofas and dirty carpets. My daughter was having a shower and fell through the shower tray but after notifying the staff of this they were very apologetic and moved us to another lodge (caravan) when we arrived the toilet was dirty so soon as we arrived I had to clean the place little things to some people but the bin was filthy and the wall next to the bin. Disappointed was definitely the word I would use after hoping for a relaxing weekend after an illness. Also no towels on arrival. I have to say the lodge did spoil our weekend and we didn’t stay for the duration but couldn’t fault the staff but I really didn’t think the lodge was worth what we paid and would not stay here again.

On arrival was greeted by the accountant and cleaner and in all fairness wouldn't really have a clue how to check in as not there job so anyway got put in accommodation, once we unpacked there was a knock on the door to tell us we were in the wrong one so had to repack to unpack although in fairness the man was very apologetic. once in the accommodation it wasn't the cleanest it had very dusty sides with previous visitors rubbish there no shelving in the fridge heater not working in one of the bedroom did tell reception and they brought us one 4 hour later. They are all close together so not much privacy at all can all wave to each other when in hot tubs, the decking is pointless if you have a dog as there is no gate to keep secure and dog can fit through bars. We did sleep ok beds weren't bad but again the bedding was dirty the duvet and pillows were all stained along with the bedding being put on inside out. It is really overpriced and not worth it

Simon the boss man, runs about all day and never stops. We had one or two small problems on arrival but he put them right. drainage seems to be an issue and sometimes smells bad. And people putting rubbish etc into bins that are not meant to be getting used, which. At some point will cause vermin and lots of flies etc. Simon needs more help , doing a great job but will end up killing himself. In the process .

Heating and hot water went off the 2nd day we were there. Got engineer out but after 2hrs the heating was off again. The area was stinking and pools of water all over the park. The lodge was basically a caravan, nothing more than that. Nothing to do at the park. Would not recommend at all

Little eden and was most disappointing with the accommodation and shortage and state of cooking equipment, cutlery and crockery. Having reported a list of 10 faults only 2 were rectified by the manager who consistently blamed previous clientele for not looking after the property and taking items home with them.

Disappointed you changed to pet friendly 4 weeks before we were due to arrive. I have pet allergies so not great! also my in laws arrived before us to filthy tea stained cups which had to be scrubbed out. the shower leaked and the oven and grill were worse than useless. No tea towel, hand wash or washing up liquid which you expect from a self catering lodge. Such a shame really as the location and lodges could be so much more.

Lovely and clean lodge could of done with an iron n ironing board, also the lodge we stopped in was for 6 people the hot tub wasn’t big enough for 4 people. But we had a fantastic time and definitely will book again.

We stayed in a superior 3 lodge had a great week ower kids loved it and the location was brilliant we would recommend this site and will be back again
Kerry from Rotherham (16 September 2017)

Massively over priced. Poorly maintained caravan and no privacy with the hot tub. It was supposed to be a relaxing get away in a lodge but it wasn't. It's a shame because the location is lovely. All I can say is 10/10 to the marketing team.
Daniel from Bradford (28 August 2017)

Mixed feelings about here, we really enjoyed the break and caravan itself was well sized, we feel it hadn't been cleaned as well as it could. There were sanitary items in the bathroom bin without a bag which we gave the bin to the site office and it never came back. The living area floor was covered in hairs, not sure if human or animal. We had to keep topping up the spa bath as when we came to use it it was usually too low and very frothy which we had to keep cleaning off. the park itself was very quiet and the chance to sit out in the stars in the spa at night was superb. we had a relaxing time but could have been just that little bit cleaner. the guy in the site office was really friendly. I would certainly return here as nice and local for bridlington.
Anthony from Derby (14 August 2017)

We really enjoyed our stay at little eden, simon was extremely helpful when our tv didn't work and it was pouring with rain. However, only having 4 plates (that didn't match!), 3 bowls, and only 4 knives and forks made our stay challenging. Also the lodge needed a good clean.
Darren from Sheffield (14 August 2017)

Lovely accommodation, clean and well looked after with ample room for everyone. Much smaller site than expected, but ideal for a quiet break away.
Claire from Witney (11 August 2017)

Was slightly diss pointed with the upkeep of the lodge, e.g. Lack of lights bulbs that worked, toilet leaked in bathroom, toaster tripping electric panel was unsafe, tap in ensuite never not dripping, kitchen sink would not running away. Also no where to leave key on early departure.
Patricia (14 July 2017)

The site itself was lovely and so was the lodge. The only thing to let it down was the finishing touches. No bedside lamps tv in bedroom no remote and didn't work no dvd player ni welcome pack in an emergency info or up to date info for area or lodge. The lodge wasnt a proper lodge it was more like a deluxe caravan.
Stephanie from Chesterfield (07 July 2017)

We were happy with the location of the lodge, it over looked the lake and waking up to the ducks each morning was nice. We felt that the lodge lacked privacy especially around the hot tub. When we arrived there was dirty dishes in the dish washer from the previous occupants. The overall cleanliness of the lodge wasn't good, we found a lot of cobwebs and the dishes in the kitchen cupboards were grimey. We had to wash them again. I think the dishwasher wasn't cleaning the dishes correctly. There was only one double bed in the lodge and the single beds provided seemed cheap and they were uncomfortable. The site itself is really nice and I think its got plenty of potential if the standard of the lodges could be improved. Surrounding the hot tubs need to be private because if other people are staying in the surrounding lodges you can see them clearly and vise versa. Also if a bar or little restaurant was on site, that would have been useful because there's nothing in walking distance to the site so you do feel isolated.
Jacqueline (07 July 2017)

The lodge is set in a very quiet and peaceful location. relatively close to supermarket and not a long drive away from bridlington itself and other tourist attractions. we found it nice and safe for our 3 year old to play out. . the hot tub was situated on the decking and not overlooked by other holidaymakers which was very much appreciated.
Jean from Manchester (03 July 2017)

I went with partner and little boy couldn't of experienced anything better for a relaxing weekend we will b going back soon it was lovely relaxing and top it of little fishing experience for my little boy.
Lorren from Middlesbrough (26 June 2017)

We found the beds in the lodge very uncomfortable.( thin mattress very little padding in the manufacturing process . could not get of site early one morning gate closed.had to get a permanent resident to open gate for us with their electronic key
Lionel from Stowmarket (26 May 2017)

Lovey cabin and hot tub. Reception was never open to get info about things or report things. Our picnic table was inadequate and falling apart - a health and safety issue im sure - the bathroom shower head was full of limescale and there was no kitchen window blind which compromised our privacy and that of our neighbours.
Janet from Chesterfield (26 May 2017)

The site was as expected. The cabin was clean but basic. For a superior lodge the beds were really uncomfortable, and still had packaging on the bases I presume so if they sell it, it's in good condition. The cabin was spacious. The hot tub was good.
Rhianna (17 April 2017)

We loved our stay at the little eden country park. The lodge was clean, tidy and great value for money. The site is located at approximately 5-10 minutes drive from the sea front at bridlington. We arrived at 7.30pm and the staff were very accommodating, however we had to phone them on the numbers provided because they were not at the reception. Overall fabulous weekends stay and we would happily return.
Sophie from Sheffield (05 March 2017)

When we arrived on the friday the microwave, toaster & grill didn't work & it wasn't very clean ie dead spiders still on the floor I had to clean before I could unpack, they came out on saturday and fixed the microwave & toaster and said they would be back to fix the grill after that we didn't see them again & needless to say they never fixed the grill, the hot tub was really nice but after the cleanliness of the caravan I was very apprehensive to go in it xx
Laura from Glasgow (26 September 2016)

Another brilliant weekend at little eden. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. can't wait to go back next year.
Sam from Rotherham (26 September 2016)

Lovely site, . staff very helpful but a little chaotic at times , little things weren't just right , no toilet rolls, tv remote batteries flat, tv in main bedroom but not connected , beds being made up as we were taken to the cabin. . there was a very powerful damp smell at first in the cabin but it wore off after a few days of airing, was a bit off putting on arrival. . overall, would go again , but a little more attention to detail needed. . the site manager was always helpful when approached.
Welburn from Brigg (16 September 2016)

Brilliant holiday, beautiful cabin and surroundings. The main aspect that made our holiday was the staff, they couldn't do enough for us and made us so welcome, so much so we've booked to go for the new year.! would highly recommend this place, love it..!! x
Collette from Rishton (27 August 2016)

Absolutely loved it. Peaceful surroundings . lovely clean lodge. Fantastic hot tub.
Annette from Leicestershire (18 July 2016)

On our arrival the staff didn't was not aware of our booking which was for 8 people. when we got into the cabin there wasn't any clean towels and the hot tub was only big enough to fit 4 small people in. I was told when booking that there was entrainment and a restaurant on site which there wasn't. One member of staff named kevin did go out of his way to look after us but overall I wasn't happy especially with the amount of money we paid and the service we got.
Sharon from Wakefield (11 July 2016)

A lovely place, perfect quiet break.
Jackie from Beverley (11 July 2016)

Amazing place. Great location. Amazing setting. Cabin over looked a little lake where ducks come up to cabin.#sweet really relaxing and quite place. Staff really friendly.
John from Leeds (11 July 2016)

Needed a clean throughout, however had a lovely time here, quite private from other lodges lovely location definitely would go back.
Customer 86 from Co Durham (04 July 2016)

We were disappointed with the cabin this time as more of a caravan with log look - the first time we stayed there we had a true log cabin which was what we were expecting this time also the area where we stayed on the grounds is getting more and more caravans on and feel this may spoil the feel of the park as they are very close together and risking getting like a caravan site
Andrea from Leeds (27 June 2016)

Lovely little place, very pretty. . . staff were great, and it's very close to shops and beaches. . lodge was very comfortable, especially the beds. . my only criticism would be the hot tub. It only accommodated 4 people, yet the lodge could sleep 8 (at a push)
Donna from Middlesbrough (20 June 2016)

Good location for visiting the area. Hot tub was nice although a little small. No facilities on site however.
Andy from Southampton (04 June 2016)

Lodge was sitting next to some kind of site for new lodges all needed finishing off plascic flowers etc lodge inside not very clean things did not work things in draws from other people rubbish not taken away
Susan from Darlington (03 June 2016)

The lodge we stayed in was decent enough, but the weather highlighted the limited facilities in the area. . hot-tub was a big plus, but there is nothing on site other than the lodges themselves, and dozens of ducks. . the lodges are pretty well equipped and easy to use, but the park itself is still in development and at the time of our stay, lacked scenery etc.
Tim from Nottingham (03 June 2016)

We stayed here for a week in may and it was awful. The staff were useless and the lodge site was a complete building site! woken most mornings at 8am by diggers and dodgy builders stomping around. Impossible to relax or fully enjoy hot tub. The cabin was dirty and looked as though somebody was already staying in ours! jacket in cupboard etc. Fridge and freezer were both dirty and the log cabin was a caravan basically! would never stay here again.

There was 8 ladies all in 30's and had a fab time. There was a link in main bedroom which left a smell in one of the bedrooms. Air freshener was left for us to use. There was work man on site with diggers but not making any noise. I think the owner, give the group £20 to get a bottle of wine. I would definitely return.

Great lodge plenty of space and nice and modern. The only downfall was the size of the hot tub. The lodge slept 8 and it was a push to get 4 people in the tub. Other than this we had a great stay.

It was a lovely break, all of the staff were very friendly and couldn't have asked for better facilities. The only fault we had was not a major one just could have done with the hot tub been hot everytime we got in it it was wither cool or just a little warm thats all.

The hot tub for the lodge we stayed in was very small and could only fit 3 people in however the lodge was 3 bedrooms and 6 of us stayed - also the temperature went down so we could not use it 2 of the 3 nights we were there - we did report it and they said they had sorted it but it still did not get warm. The oven grill door came off and all the dials on the oven did not work so it was a guessing game for temperatures. There was also not enough glasses for 6 people.
Vickie from Halifax (30 November 2015)

Not enough utensils crockery for 8 people no quilt cover or pillow cases for xtra bedding asked twice still didnt get outside light broken so cudnt see to go in hot tub again asked twice over took 5 days to cook a pie lodge itself was lovely n spacious very dirty had tissues n old biscuits on the floor in the bedroom the kitchen windowsill had dead flies on it complained to owner he said they didnt move stuff to vacum as they didnt have time totally disgusting

Nice place to stay and we had a lodge over looking the lake. Our only bad point is that we had 2 sofas for 8 people. We ended up bring in the chairs from the decking to use inside. The master room had a walk in wardrobe and ensuite which we loved.

Had difficulty finding where to check in. No heating on when we arrived - very uninviting and off-putting. No working exterior light, so had to unpack car in the dark and carry up steps to decking in dark. food crumbs in fridge veg tray. empty loo roll behind door of bathroom. debris in cracks of sofa. Light bulbs gone in light fittings.
