Absolutely loved our weekend here. Gorgeous place will definitely return
Kirsty from Cambrifge (18 September 2016)

Had a fantastic weekend. Beautiful lodge, beautiful location. The additional touches made it even more special. Can't wait to return!
Nicola from Navenby (18 September 2016)

The lodge was very good, well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Peter from Ripley Derbyshireu (17 September 2016)

Beautiful modern lodge in tranquil wooded surroundings. Remote from anywhere, car required. A good mile or two between hotel, pool spa and lodges. Great for golfers, romantic retreat etc, not great for children. No play areas and very quiet. No wifi in most lodges and no mobile reception until hotel.
K.D from Worksop (02 September 2016)

Keswick park has just reopened a top quality spa which was lovely, and the treatments and facilities were very good. However the lodges are not up to the same standards. We ate in the hotel on the last night and what a disaster for a supposedly top class hotel! drinks were served with flies in them and the order came out totally wrong. Leaving some of us eating while still the others waited for the right order. In their defence the service was reflected in the final bill. But this shouldn't be happening in that standard of hotel. Such a shame as we were looking forward to a nice chilled weekend
Cindy from Alford (22 August 2016)

Having stayed at kenwick woods lodges 3 times previously, this time didn't live up to expectation. This was because the lodge we stayed in (no 51) would, quite frankly, benefit from some tlc! . . 1. The lodge hadn't been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There was a thick layer of dust behind the wall of the bed head in the master bedroom and the bathroom floors needed wiping. . . 2. There was an overpowering smell of damp in the lodge - particularly in the master bedroom. even with the heater left on, this didn't improve. . 3. The second double bed was a 'small' double. This meant sleeping arrangements had to be altered and the children had to take turns sleeping on one of the couches. . 4. The 'floor' of the master bedroom wardrobe had fallen out and was lying flat on the floor. Maintenance were called to remedy this. . 5. The shower door handle had broken off and was left resting against a wall in the bathroom. Again, maintenance were called to fix this. . 6. The outside light bulb needed replacing, which we were unable to do ourselves as no spare bulb and the unit needed unscrewing. Maintenance sorted this out. . 7. My elderly mother got stuck in the bathroom when the door, which had loosened from its hinges, couldn't be opened. Maintenance came and fixed this too!. . it was extremely disappointing that we had to clean the lodge when we arrived and had to contact maintenance to repair the various bits of the lodge. I must add - maintenance arrived very quickly and fixed everything on our list!!. . on a (very) positive note, the newly built health club and spa is even better than the previous one, which was also great! this was the saving grace of our holiday.
Helen from Ely, Cambridgeshire (12 August 2016)

Stayed in lodge number 3 and it was excellent. the spa was superb and the walk across the golf course to the local pub "the splash" was very enjoyable, as was the fantastic range of cask ales they offered.
Robert from Cheshire (08 August 2016)

Very nice spacious lodge with everything you need. Location is very good for exploring lincolnshire and the coast.
Derek (30 July 2016)

Lovely pine lodge set in peaceful woodlands with a good open aspect and plenty of bird song.
Michael (15 July 2016)

We had to manage without a front door key for most of our holiday as the previous guest had taken it home with them, this was an inconvenience as we had a small child with us and had to take all her equipment, pram, highchair etc around the back way. The site is well kept but dissappointing if you are hoping for some long woodland walks as the woods are only just as big as the site. Lovely lodge, modern but cosy and well equiped

This was the second time we visited kenwick woods and we love it there. The lodges are so spacious and have everything you need so you don't need to bring your kitchen sink with you. They are quiet and well spread out so that you are not on top of your neighbours. . would definitely recommend.

They need to get the electrical heaters on the walls better some kept cutting out letting the place get cold. The en-suite was like an icebox we could not use it. It was a great size but a towel rail is not sufficient to heat a room of that size,. the staff were good and lent us an extra free standing heater. We have used your lodges over many years and this was the first time we were cold in one.

Woodland setting was lovely; even in february! not sure if hot tubs were an option but would certainly be interested. there was a lot of work going on with the new spa etc and this had no impact on us at all. the road leading to our lodge was very dodgy. our presumption is that when the building works are completed, the road will be repaired.

We love staying in the lodges but ultimately if it wasn't for the fact we know the area and can make our own fun the site needs updating and adding to. There is no use of golf course without handicap, and no adventure playgrounds or structured walks. I feel the site could benefit from a facelift.

No phone or wifi connection as soon as we entered park. Lodge far down a really potholed road to get back to reception for a signal. No landline in lodge so felt cut off in case of emergency. One of our party was arriving later and in the dark with no way of contacting them was a worry which did not get our weekend off to a good start. need to have wifi in this day and age or landline in lodge. Lodge itself good but would not return again due to above

Great for the dog's and granddaughter.
Philip from Hull (31 August 2015)

Exceeded our expectations for facilities due to being put in the i-lodge and having two teenagers in our party. Lovely peaceful surroundings but able to get to the hotel for the wedding. Great value for money for larger groups attending functions at the venue

The lodge itself and location were great. However sitting out on the veranda was not very enjoyable due to nearby guests/residents having little or no consideration for others whilst they were being noisy. Also inconsiderate guests exceeding the max speed on the hardcore roadway creating a cloud of dust every time they drove past. Apart from that good accommodation, location and ideal base to explore the nearby coast/towns etc.

We stayed here primarily in order to take our dog which was good for her but very cut off as there was no wifi no mobile signal and we only spoke to one person the whole week. if quiet and remote is what you are after then this is definitely for you. we did find a lovely pub "the splash" as short drive away which was very nice and dined in the lovely gardens there.

Had a great weekend at kenwick wood lodges. We were really impressed with the lodge itself, lots of space for 6 people - it didn't feel cramped at all. The only negative that I can say about the place is the speed bumps on the driveway - with a car full of people, it scraped the car on each and every one! we didn't use the facilities at the hotel but in terms of the lodge, it has everything that you need in it. I would definitely recommend this place and would return again.

I stayed in one of the maple lodges - number 35. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Had all the facilities I needed plus more, even had a dishwasher. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing winter break. Lookout for the small freezer hidden away in the utility cupboard. This is where the iron and ironing board are with dustpan etc. Also in here were some books, games and visitor information. One piece of feedback - the floor coverings in the kitchen area and bathrooms were not of the high standard of the rest of the lodge decor.

The road to the lodge needs some serious attention. Due to the fire there were no facilities. . it didn't seem fair that a free shuttle bus is provided at weekends between the lodge and hotel when eating there and not at a weekday (people do holiday in the week and we spent a considerable amount of money in the hotel, then required a £7 taxi back to the lodge when on weekends this is free?)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay but signage to the hotel/golf resort should be from all directions at the roundabout. The road from the hotel/golf resort to the lodges should be lit at night as on the saturday night even though it was a lovely evening, with the trees and the covering cloud it was pitch black walking back from a lovely evening at the hotel.
Paula from Telford (15 September 2014)

Superb facilities and lodge well appointed. Had a lovely relaxing holiday
Frances from Dunfermline (12 September 2014)

Shame there is no designated play area for children within the park
Pamela from Newbury Berkshire (23 August 2014)

Lovely location, good value for money, and staff and facilities excellent
Shirley from Lingwood (23 August 2014)

A great lodge where you can see easily access local towns and attractions along with relaxing and using the pool and spa
Jennifer (22 August 2014)

1 or two small things missing in the kitchen. Clear instructions on how to work the tv and heating would be appreciated. The tv in the master bedroom was broken. Apart from that the place was lovely with beautiful surroundings.
Linda from London (22 August 2014)

Facilities are excellent, the kids loved the pool, in fact we all did!
Lisa (22 August 2014)

Our second visit to kenwick lodge. Great to hear that a mini bus has been put in place to take lodge guests to and from the hotel. had a lovely peaceful long weekend.
Helen from Ely (18 August 2014)

Lots of places to go kids loved the rides at skegness
Joanne from Whitley Bay (16 August 2014)

Not for children
John (15 August 2014)

An excellent week spent in the lodge in the woods. Made use of the leisure facilities at he hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable week.
Darren from Verwood (09 August 2014)

Lack of though on some parts puts this as some where I would not go with young children.
Lynne from Fife (26 July 2014)

Lovely lodges, but ours was too close to others. Gravel car track was very noisy through the night/early morning. Not much for children to do. Woodland walks overgrown and not very accessible. Lodges a long way from swimming pool. Pool full of lots of health club members doing lengths so we were confined to small side bit of pool.
Jo (25 July 2014)

Only disadvantage is lack of place for children to play and quality of steam room which was quite old and smelly. Otherwise we were blown away by the accommodation.
Katarzyna from Sheffield (21 July 2014)

Fantastic lodges and lovely woodland setting, can't fault the lodges themselves. Our only negatives were that we were staying at kenwick for a wedding and didn't realize the lodges are nearly a mile from the actual hotel! not good when you want to walk back with an elderly relative. Also the speed humps between hotel and lodges are way to high, they scraped the bottom of my car every time we went over them, not matter how slowly.
David from Strathcarron (14 July 2014)

Very very good the only thing that could improve it is having your own hot tub. It was my 4th visit but hadn't been for 10 yrs and although a few more cabins have been built, it is still as good as it was then.
Stephen from Derby (30 June 2014)

Lovely place, quite secluded area for the lodges away from the hotel which was nice. there was some construction traffic but it wasn't too much of a bother. the leisure facilities were really great and we used them a few times during our stay. I do however feel like it needed a play area for the kids.
Kay from Warrington (21 June 2014)

Shower are in changing rooms in swimming pool area need a good cleans, regularly
Carole from Derby (20 June 2014)

My rating would've been higher if staff had responded when I told them the hot water wasn't. As it was we spent the whole weekend with only 1 of us showering in our cabin, the others went to neighbouring family who had masses of hot water for the 4 of them & us! reception told me repeatedly "it takes a while to heat up"! like more than overnight?!. don't accept lodge 51 - ime.
James from Market Rasen (09 June 2014)

Not really suited to children, we took our granddaughter and had a good time but site was not geared up for children. as an adults only break it was excellent, apart from the hen party in the adjacent cabin.
James from Blackburn (24 May 2014)

We really enjoyed our stay at kenwick park, a really peacefull site. The only problem was very poor access to wfi
Betty from Sudbury. Suffolk (26 April 2014)

Beautiful, well equipped lodge in a lovely setting.
Michael from Nottingham (21 April 2014)

I loved my lodg
Stephanie (21 April 2014)

Great holiday thank you. lovely setting. only downside was that patio doors were not working during our stay.
Paul (18 April 2014)

Beautiful setting could just do with a bit more for children to do.
Tracy (11 April 2014)

Great lodge. One of the best we have experienced. Lovely setting in the woods. Near to louth which is a lovely little town. People both at kenwick and also in the town are so friendly and helpful we had a lovely stay. The only downside for us was the location of the pool/facilities/restaurant/bar which are next to hotel and a long way from the lodges. You had to use a car. Unfortunately, not a convenient/safe walking option.
Alan from Benfleet (24 March 2014)

We had a fantastic here the kids loved it. Beautiful surroundings and very peace ful. The swimming facilities were very clean . we will definitely be rurning soon
Lucy from Kettering (24 February 2014)

Our rating about staff helpfulness was in reference to a power cut the whole site and hotel suffered during our stay and the best help we were offered was a few candles and some matches! it was february and we had a baby and no heating in our lodge so expected more concern and support!
Laura from Woodbridge (24 February 2014)

Nice relaxing break in a fantastic lodge
Gary from Nottingham (24 January 2014)

Stayed for 4 nights over christmas, we really enjoyed it and would stay there again.
Deborah (27 December 2013)

Jane from Blunham (09 December 2013)

A lovely area of the world with a super fitness centre.
James from Blackburn (08 November 2013)

The whole experience for our 4 nights at kenwick woods was fantastic it was difficult to fault apart from the half term price. Leisure suite is excellent and all the staff friendly and helpful,
Brian from Chesterfield (01 November 2013)

Second time at kenwick lodges (3 x bed number 25 & 2x bed number 46), each time used leisure facilities. Pool lovely and warm all areas clean. you could not fault the surroundings on both lodges. the only downside on both occasions - we wanted to say longer but had to leave. Will back again.
Anne from Derbyshire (28 October 2013)

The location itself was fabulous. Lodge numbers need to be "glow in the dark" as we arrived late in the evening and could not see our cabin number anywhere. We followed the map accordingly but was still very difficult to figure out which lodge was ours. the female staff at the pool were rude to our teenage daughters. We did not appreciate this at all. They came into the sauna at 7:45 pm and told them that they had to 'get out." they should've said, "ladies, we are closing in 15 minutes and we'll need to turn the sauna off please." perhaps staff politeness could be improved upon.
Tamara from County Durham (28 October 2013)

Felt the staff in the hotel were not always friendly part of the road could do with the pot holes filling in
Sandra from Market Rasen (26 October 2013)

Brilliant lodge peaceful and not to remote perfect getaway
Gordon from Grimsby (21 October 2013)

Very nice area facilities could be improved if indoor tennis available
Peter (11 October 2013)
