Lovely lodge
Cheryl from Peterborough (11 December 2017)

Perfect holiday, we have a 2 yea old and the lodge was perfect for him to run around. Would have loved a washer dryer, but it’s didnt spoil our time away as I was able to pop to louth to get a few more pairs of pjs..awesome break away
Victoria from Sunderland (17 November 2017)

Very disappointed that they are not dog friendly next year
Lisa from Hull (10 November 2017)

Love it
Michelle (06 November 2017)

We’ve stayed at kenwick many times, mainly because of irs location, however every time there is something not quite right. This time, we were incorrectly allocated a 2 bed, rather than a 3 bed lodge. This was rectified, but the 3 bed lodge’s heating . had not been on, so it was slow to warm up. For a lodge sleeping 7 people, there were only 5 knives. One bathroom had no form of heating at all. Since the new leisure centre opened, lodge guests have restricted access and cannot use the facilities on their departure day at all, which is unsatisfactory.
Sarah from Notts (06 November 2017)

The cabin lodge was warm and cosy with a beautiful home feeling. it was furnished to a high standard and well equipped. there was even a good collection of dvds! . . it was a lovely relaxing break and the visit to the local beach to see the seals was an amazing sight! . . there isn't really much to do around the area, especially if you have young children and the pool was busy at the weekend due to the spa facilities.
Ketika (06 November 2017)

I loved my stay at kenwick lodge. The facilities were great, everything we needed was in the lodge. I wish I could have taken my dog, but the lodge we were in didn't allow them, this was no problem though, I am sure I could have looked for one with pets allowed. . the spa was great, towels were a little small for a bigger boned person. . there was an odd buzzing noise by my bed which woke me a few times, but it was ok for just 2 nights.
Sarah from Sheffield (05 November 2017)

Very nice and peaceful place to stay.
Henry from Northampton (03 November 2017)

Had a fabulous time the lodge was amazing!
Catherine (29 October 2017)

Excellent holiday park and facilities
Katie from Wakefield (28 October 2017)

This was our second stay in one year in kenwick lodges and we were very excited about it. . as two mums and 3 kids age 5 and 10 we were looking forward to a relaxing holiday and use of spa. . our first stay was great, apart from the very bad and unprofessional behaviour of the hotel manager!. the lodge was amazing with great facilities. . . our second stay was ok and the lodge had minimum facilities and was smaller with no dressing table in the master bedroom and the kitchen facilities were absolute minimum. . . also the spa has changed a lot of rules which was not convenient at all namely no children were allowed in the pool or poolside between 2-3pm. We had to take all the kids out, dry them, dress them and spend one hour in the cafe and go back again! as guests who wants to have a pool/spa day no eating was allowed around the pool! made it very difficult with kids getting hungry!. . no phones, ipad, etc was allowed around the pool!!. . overall our second experience of the spa/pool and the lodge itself was not as we expected!!
Ghazaleh from Manchester (27 October 2017)

We had a lovely time. The lodge was super and the spa was great. The track to the cabins does need the ramps making more 'suspension friendly' and tarmacking all the way to the furthest cabins. . it would have been helpful to know that the cabins were so far away from the cabins. I had a 16 year old daughter and a mum with dementia with me. The distance through the woods meant that my daughter could not make her own way to the pool in the evenings and I could not leave my mum on her own in the cabin so it made life a little complicated. Had I known in advance I would not have booked there for this particular holiday. I would, however, definitely return with just my daughter or even with my parents when dad could come too. I'm sure i'm not the only one to find being almost a mile fro the hotel and pool an issue.
Adel from Felixstowe (27 October 2017)

Fabulous location and facilities. great time had by adults, kids & our dog. . . will be booking again
Rb from Huddersfield (27 October 2017)

Fantastic time at the i-lodge ultra. Staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Gail from Motherwell (20 October 2017)

Just amazing! was building work going on around our lodge which was not a very good site but sometimes these things happen could of gave a little warning bit would not stop me going back I cant wait to go back lodges are absoloutly beautiful
Kelly-Marie from Nottingham (08 October 2017)

We arrived in the dark so it was quite hard to find our way to our lodge, would have been helpful if the staff had told us to park around the back of the lodge - spent quite a while that evening trying to figure out where we should park.
Sarah (02 October 2017)

Excellent holiday with fully equipped lodge everything you needed was there . beautiful surroundings and ideal for days out only half hour runs to popular places, only downside was bedrooms had a lot of dust and smells. With it been dog friendly maybe laminate throughout rather than carpets in bedrooms but besides that will be back .
Donna from Hartlepool (29 September 2017)

We had a very peaceful and pleasant weekend .
Chin from Feltham (25 September 2017)

Excellent lodge with everything you could need. Clean and spacious in a lovely location. Spa and pool facilities are excellent and very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Charles from Grimsby (25 September 2017)

The ilodge ultra was fantastic, clean spacious and comfortable perfect for families. We are a family of 4 including two toddlers. The swimming pool facilities are lovely. Only downside is there is no play area not much for children to do but I expect that's intended. Woodland walk didn't really exist as the path took you on to the golf course.
Oon from Peterborough (22 September 2017)

Maple lodge was very warm and comfortable. Our 2 night stay was to attend a wedding in the local area so, unfortunately we did not have time to use all the onsite facilities. We will definitely return to discover more of the area.
Lynda from Andover (10 September 2017)

Very quiet, lots of wildlife and owls hooting at night - lovely !
Stuart from Notts (08 September 2017)

Overall we enjoyed our second stay here, but this time the lodge lacked some basic equipment and various electrical things did not work.
Michael from Sheffield (08 September 2017)

Great lodge will book again if can get about same price
Geraldine from Sheffield (02 September 2017)

Great lodge, the swimming pool am delighted spa are fantastic
Ailsa from York (02 September 2017)

A lovely lodge in nice surroundings but a little shabby inside. Not gd for teenage kids as no wifi in lodge and not alot to do in surrounding area. But my husband and I loved the peace and quiet.
Clifford from Huntingdon (01 September 2017)

Hi . more facilities for families are required, as it is I feel it has little to offer families. There are supposed to be walks through woods and down to a local pub, none of the staff new where the walk was. Also all the areas marked on the site map as leading to walks have signs up saying private. Would suggest clear walks through the woods, marked trails around the complex and woods for use as a mountain bike route ora trim trail. Area for children to play football etc. Play equipment. No tourist information available on site to give guidance on the area and what it has to offer. . regards. . mark
Mark from Harrogate (26 August 2017)

We loved it and have rebooked
Debbie from Lincoln (25 August 2017)

A lovely holiday the swimming pool was amazing. Parts of the lodge has seen better days i'm afraid. Oven and settees worn out. Freezer was tiny for self catering. it appeared the cleaners just do a quick clean in between guests as the floors were quite dirty. Lodge had plenty of space but quite dark inside due to its location in the wooded area.
Clare from Derby (25 August 2017)

Absolutely fantastic if you are looking for a holiday in he middle of nowhere but close enoughave to the town and beach this is your ideal location..staff very helpful, cleanliness is very high and just a lovely location to spend time with your loved ones
Sharon from Corby (18 August 2017)

We stayed in one of the lodges celebrating our daughters 50th birthday.
Betty from Woodborough, Nottingham (14 August 2017)

Large, spacious well equipped lodge. Towels provided and mini toiletries and mints, as in a hotel room, as well as tea/coffee etc. Very clean apart from some cobwebs and a few spiders. Only 5 minutes' drive from the market town of louth. Free use of the spa facilities in the hotel between 11am and 7pm was a big plus and something that would make us want to go back. Lovely, tranquil spa with bistro and lounge areas as well as good sized pool and thermal spa suite. Towels provided each time visit spa and lovely changing rooms with toiletries.
Alison from Gateshead (12 August 2017)

Very dark as in the woods no sign of open fields and a lake as in the brochure
Simon from Exeter (12 August 2017)

Very good the family had a great time.
Steven from Fareham (12 August 2017)

Excellent!
Michael (11 August 2017)

Never disappointed, stayed here around 5 times, always gets better. Never stayed in the hotel though so couldn't comment, would have no hesitation in doing so.
Christopher (11 August 2017)

We thought the woods could have done with a play area for the kids to adventure but we will be back next year. Regards mr ramplin.
Wayne from Harwich (11 August 2017)

A great venue and a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Loved the fact that the lodges were set in woodland surroundings as it gave a sense of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the world. The nicest part was being located in the lincolnshire wolds which was a beautiful, picturesque landscape.
John from Northampton (05 August 2017)

Facilities were impeccable, great location with many different attractions nearby, would definitely be back.
Osheni from Kettering (04 August 2017)

Lodges have no mobile/internet signal. massive inconvenience. There was a landline socket but no phone. won't suit those with teens. . furniture was dated and wobbly table and chairs, cobwebs all over, toilet flush broken. master bedroom door didn't shut, tv remote broken. Some issues reported and fixed on arrival but obviously not dusted properly in years. No one came to clean or dust after housekeeping informed. . spa was largely unusable as appointments only offered mid afternoon when we wanted to go out. . no sun and lodge very dark inside
Jane from South Shields (04 August 2017)

We stayed in lodge 14. This lodge is absolutely stunning. what surprised us the most is the size of the lodge. There is so much space. The lodge contained everything you would need or want for a holiday. The location is beautiful, it is very quiet and noise was not heard at all apart from the odd squirrel on the roof. . the facilities are wonderful especially the pool and spa. The lincolnshire coast is a short drive away whether you like the hustle and bustle of skegness or the peace and serenity of anderby creek this is a fantastic destination to holiday.
Lisa from Newark On Trent (31 July 2017)

We had a fantastic weekend in the retreat lodge. There was plenty of space inside the lodge for 4 adults and 3 young children to play. The outside decking was more suited just to the adults though. The lodge was well equipped and even though our requested high chair and travel cot weren't there on arrival, a quick call to reception and they were brought over immediately. . the leisure facilities are also lovely to use. Great place to stay in a nice location.
Michelle from Nottingham (31 July 2017)

On my recent stay in kenwick woods lodges, my review is mixed. The lodges themselves are very high quality and well equiped, however the housekeeping team did not clean the lodges well at all, and the lodges are very remote and you need to rely on your vehicle every time you need to go out.
Jayne from Derby (29 July 2017)

Nice play, great sports complex, not much else to do though....
Mark from Spaldwick (29 July 2017)

Wonderful relaxing time and when you include the pleasure of enjoying the swimming pol and its facilities eg sauna jacuzzi, steam room, ice room, foot spa, dry room. Can you go far wrong I doubt it. In addition the hotel is splendid and the golf course make an amazing venue plus the 'wolds'. . we believe the speed bumps are too harsh what about reducing the number of them plus the ballast drive needs to topped up as it is wearing leavings dips.
Malcolm from Woodbridge Suffolk (24 June 2017)

When I booked I chose this location due to it having wifi as I had to work. unfortunately this was misleading as the only wifi available was in the hotel and not in the lodge. this caused me difficulties throughout the week. also the hours to use the spa was only between 11-7 which was not ideal when working 9-5.
Nicola from Newark (23 June 2017)

Lovely spa facilities however the lodge was not so nice, very dated.
Daniel (12 June 2017)

Relaxing, romantic surrounding s, very helpful staff. Unfortunately some over guest using outside pool jet massage beds as booking reading seats. So not able to use one afternoon. Strongly recommend the outside pool.
Andrew from Beccles (26 May 2017)

Had a lovely weekend ! lodge was fantastic
Karen from Boston (01 May 2017)

Myself and a couple of girl friends have been coming to kenwick park lodges for 5 consecutive years now - it's conveniently accessible from where we live (grimsby) great tranquil settling & we love visiting louth town.
Lindsey from Grimsby (01 May 2017)

Fabulous lodge and lovely location. So quiet and peaceful it was magic. Everyone very helpful and nice. Everywhere spotless and beds were very comfortable. . only downside was the pool and hotel was about 3/4 mile away on an unlit road so couldn't really walk there at night which we'd hoped to do. However, spa and pool were lovely when we drove there.
Kathryn (08 April 2017)

Great location, really nice to be tucked away in the woods but nice to have the facilities on site. lodge was amazing, very spacious and fully equipped. no wi-fi which is ideal if you are looking to get away from it, although wi-fi was available at the hotel on site.
Sally from Northants (18 February 2017)

Spent three nights here at the end of january, didn't get chance to enjoy the facilities so we came back the following weekend for three more nights. Very enjoyable stay, sunday lunch in the hotel was a bonus, the facilities are excellent.
John from Monterrey Mexico (06 February 2017)

Spa was lovely. lodge well equipped. area was peaceful. Could do with wifi or phone signal booster for lodges.
Sarah from Leicester (13 January 2017)

Very noisy all girl party in next lodge, shouting and expletives well after midnight!!!!! not good
Alyn from Immingham (08 January 2017)

Lovely place to stay , food in restaurant was great esp: steak and fish nights
Liz from Essex (07 January 2017)

We had a wonderful time at kenwick lodge. Our lodge seemed very new and exciting was conveniently located near the pool. . . the living area was bigger than it appeared in the photos. One of the bedrooms was a bit snug but fine for two young children. . the pool, steam room and hydro-electric etc were fabulous. Very very high standard. Great for adults and children. . we would happily stay at kenwick lodge again.
Holiday from London (02 January 2017)

Very clean with everything you require would definitely stay again
Leslie from Grimsby (30 December 2016)

Wonderful christmas break in a peaceful location. Enjoyed using amazing spa facilities and the meal in the restaurant we had was excellent. Would recommend the well equiped lodges to anybody.
Katrina from Burgh Le Marsh (27 December 2016)

Absolutely loved our weekend here. Gorgeous place will definitely return
Kirsty from Cambrifge (18 September 2016)

Had a fantastic weekend. Beautiful lodge, beautiful location. The additional touches made it even more special. Can't wait to return!
Nicola from Navenby (18 September 2016)

The lodge was very good, well equipped, clean and comfortable.
Peter from Ripley Derbyshireu (17 September 2016)

Beautiful modern lodge in tranquil wooded surroundings. Remote from anywhere, car required. A good mile or two between hotel, pool spa and lodges. Great for golfers, romantic retreat etc, not great for children. No play areas and very quiet. No wifi in most lodges and no mobile reception until hotel.
K.D from Worksop (02 September 2016)

Keswick park has just reopened a top quality spa which was lovely, and the treatments and facilities were very good. However the lodges are not up to the same standards. We ate in the hotel on the last night and what a disaster for a supposedly top class hotel! drinks were served with flies in them and the order came out totally wrong. Leaving some of us eating while still the others waited for the right order. In their defence the service was reflected in the final bill. But this shouldn't be happening in that standard of hotel. Such a shame as we were looking forward to a nice chilled weekend
Cindy from Alford (22 August 2016)

Having stayed at kenwick woods lodges 3 times previously, this time didn't live up to expectation. This was because the lodge we stayed in (no 51) would, quite frankly, benefit from some tlc! . . 1. The lodge hadn't been cleaned properly prior to our arrival. There was a thick layer of dust behind the wall of the bed head in the master bedroom and the bathroom floors needed wiping. . . 2. There was an overpowering smell of damp in the lodge - particularly in the master bedroom. even with the heater left on, this didn't improve. . 3. The second double bed was a 'small' double. This meant sleeping arrangements had to be altered and the children had to take turns sleeping on one of the couches. . 4. The 'floor' of the master bedroom wardrobe had fallen out and was lying flat on the floor. Maintenance were called to remedy this. . 5. The shower door handle had broken off and was left resting against a wall in the bathroom. Again, maintenance were called to fix this. . 6. The outside light bulb needed replacing, which we were unable to do ourselves as no spare bulb and the unit needed unscrewing. Maintenance sorted this out. . 7. My elderly mother got stuck in the bathroom when the door, which had loosened from its hinges, couldn't be opened. Maintenance came and fixed this too!. . it was extremely disappointing that we had to clean the lodge when we arrived and had to contact maintenance to repair the various bits of the lodge. I must add - maintenance arrived very quickly and fixed everything on our list!!. . on a (very) positive note, the newly built health club and spa is even better than the previous one, which was also great! this was the saving grace of our holiday.
Helen from Ely, Cambridgeshire (12 August 2016)

Stayed in lodge number 3 and it was excellent. the spa was superb and the walk across the golf course to the local pub "the splash" was very enjoyable, as was the fantastic range of cask ales they offered.
Robert from Cheshire (08 August 2016)

Very nice spacious lodge with everything you need. Location is very good for exploring lincolnshire and the coast.
Derek (30 July 2016)

Lovely pine lodge set in peaceful woodlands with a good open aspect and plenty of bird song.
Michael (15 July 2016)

We had to manage without a front door key for most of our holiday as the previous guest had taken it home with them, this was an inconvenience as we had a small child with us and had to take all her equipment, pram, highchair etc around the back way. The site is well kept but dissappointing if you are hoping for some long woodland walks as the woods are only just as big as the site. Lovely lodge, modern but cosy and well equiped

This was the second time we visited kenwick woods and we love it there. The lodges are so spacious and have everything you need so you don't need to bring your kitchen sink with you. They are quiet and well spread out so that you are not on top of your neighbours. . would definitely recommend.

They need to get the electrical heaters on the walls better some kept cutting out letting the place get cold. The en-suite was like an icebox we could not use it. It was a great size but a towel rail is not sufficient to heat a room of that size,. the staff were good and lent us an extra free standing heater. We have used your lodges over many years and this was the first time we were cold in one.

Woodland setting was lovely; even in february! not sure if hot tubs were an option but would certainly be interested. there was a lot of work going on with the new spa etc and this had no impact on us at all. the road leading to our lodge was very dodgy. our presumption is that when the building works are completed, the road will be repaired.

We love staying in the lodges but ultimately if it wasn't for the fact we know the area and can make our own fun the site needs updating and adding to. There is no use of golf course without handicap, and no adventure playgrounds or structured walks. I feel the site could benefit from a facelift.

No phone or wifi connection as soon as we entered park. Lodge far down a really potholed road to get back to reception for a signal. No landline in lodge so felt cut off in case of emergency. One of our party was arriving later and in the dark with no way of contacting them was a worry which did not get our weekend off to a good start. need to have wifi in this day and age or landline in lodge. Lodge itself good but would not return again due to above

Philip from Hull (31 August 2015)

Exceeded our expectations for facilities due to being put in the i-lodge and having two teenagers in our party. Lovely peaceful surroundings but able to get to the hotel for the wedding. Great value for money for larger groups attending functions at the venue

Nice holiday, always look forward to coming, my only negative point is there is a lack of wi-fi or phone signal on site.

The lodge itself and location were great. However sitting out on the veranda was not very enjoyable due to nearby guests/residents having little or no consideration for others whilst they were being noisy. Also inconsiderate guests exceeding the max speed on the hardcore roadway creating a cloud of dust every time they drove past. Apart from that good accommodation, location and ideal base to explore the nearby coast/towns etc.

We stayed here primarily in order to take our dog which was good for her but very cut off as there was no wifi no mobile signal and we only spoke to one person the whole week. if quiet and remote is what you are after then this is definitely for you. we did find a lovely pub "the splash" as short drive away which was very nice and dined in the lovely gardens there.

Overall very good but was very disappointed with the external appearance of our log cabin number 60 looked very tired and in need of a good paint up

Had a great weekend at kenwick wood lodges. We were really impressed with the lodge itself, lots of space for 6 people - it didn't feel cramped at all. The only negative that I can say about the place is the speed bumps on the driveway - with a car full of people, it scraped the car on each and every one! we didn't use the facilities at the hotel but in terms of the lodge, it has everything that you need in it. I would definitely recommend this place and would return again.

Lovely surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Lodges clean and comfortable
Jane from Warwick (23 March 2015)

Absolutely lovely especially for the money we paid. Weren't very much entertainment but very relaxing. Me and family are already planning our next visit for summer would definitely recommend

I stayed in one of the maple lodges - number 35. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Had all the facilities I needed plus more, even had a dishwasher. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet relaxing winter break. Lookout for the small freezer hidden away in the utility cupboard. This is where the iron and ironing board are with dustpan etc. Also in here were some books, games and visitor information. One piece of feedback - the floor coverings in the kitchen area and bathrooms were not of the high standard of the rest of the lodge decor.

Facilities score is probably irrelevant due to a recent fire in the leisure club - this would normally score 9

The road to the lodge needs some serious attention. Due to the fire there were no facilities. . it didn't seem fair that a free shuttle bus is provided at weekends between the lodge and hotel when eating there and not at a weekday (people do holiday in the week and we spent a considerable amount of money in the hotel, then required a £7 taxi back to the lodge when on weekends this is free?)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay but signage to the hotel/golf resort should be from all directions at the roundabout. The road from the hotel/golf resort to the lodges should be lit at night as on the saturday night even though it was a lovely evening, with the trees and the covering cloud it was pitch black walking back from a lovely evening at the hotel.
Paula from Telford (15 September 2014)

Superb facilities and lodge well appointed. Had a lovely relaxing holiday
Frances from Dunfermline (12 September 2014)

Shame there is no designated play area for children within the park
Pamela from Newbury Berkshire (23 August 2014)

Lovely location, good value for money, and staff and facilities excellent
Shirley from Lingwood (23 August 2014)

A great lodge where you can see easily access local towns and attractions along with relaxing and using the pool and spa
Jennifer (22 August 2014)

1 or two small things missing in the kitchen. Clear instructions on how to work the tv and heating would be appreciated. The tv in the master bedroom was broken. Apart from that the place was lovely with beautiful surroundings.
Linda from London (22 August 2014)

Facilities are excellent, the kids loved the pool, in fact we all did!
Lisa (22 August 2014)

Our second visit to kenwick lodge. Great to hear that a mini bus has been put in place to take lodge guests to and from the hotel. had a lovely peaceful long weekend.
Helen from Ely (18 August 2014)

Lots of places to go kids loved the rides at skegness
Joanne from Whitley Bay (16 August 2014)

Not for children
John (15 August 2014)

An excellent week spent in the lodge in the woods. Made use of the leisure facilities at he hotel and had a thoroughly enjoyable week.
Darren from Verwood (09 August 2014)

Lack of though on some parts puts this as some where I would not go with young children.
Lynne from Fife (26 July 2014)

Lovely lodges, but ours was too close to others. Gravel car track was very noisy through the night/early morning. Not much for children to do. Woodland walks overgrown and not very accessible. Lodges a long way from swimming pool. Pool full of lots of health club members doing lengths so we were confined to small side bit of pool.
