Picked initially for it's location (central for access to lands end and the lizard), stayed in gold apartment which was lovely, best accommodation for the money we have ever had, lovely and warm (we stayed in october half term)!
Jon from Taunton (27 October 2017)

We enjoyed every minutes of our staying, cornwall is wonderful, the accommodation was worth of money, except no hot water in the kitchen, but we solved that problem.
Laszlo from Maidenhead (27 October 2017)

I booked kenegie manor as a cheap half term break and my expectations were not high based on the price I paid. The staff were all really lovely. We had a warm welcome when we arrived and the complimentary drinks were a lovely surprise, as was the halloween party for residents. . the pool was small but perfect for us and we swam every day. It was warmer in the morning than the evening so we preferred to go then. . my children particularly liked the halloween swim with the pool full of balloons!. the accommodation was spotlessly clean and suited us as a base for exploring penzance and the surrounding areas. It did feel a bit damp at night which didn't surprise me for the time of year. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if another bargain came up!
Tracey from Basingstoke (27 October 2017)

Park itself needed a general clean up of the leaves and grass cutting/hedges cut back. The accommodation provided was outstanding and pleasantly comfortable, as well as fully equipped. The facilities were good perhaps a little on the small side. The entertainment club was great.
Maggie from Truro (27 October 2017)

Thoroughly enjoyed our time it was like home from home the apartments are lovely very cosy the staff are very welcoming with it being near halloween they provided pumpkins for the children to carve and put on a buffet and activities and a ghost walk for all to take part definitely recommend
Kelly (27 October 2017)

Was pleasantly surprised on arrival, its a beautiful place. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Only issue was the mattress on the bed. Springs could be felt at the slightess touch so sleeping on it was almost impossible. Gave us both bad backs. Even put the extra quilts over the mattress but it didnt help.
Jackie from Mansfield Woodhouse (21 October 2017)

Very good
Roy from Bromley (21 October 2017)

We are arrived at the summer house to find a dehumidifier in the bedroom.it was very cold and the smell of damp was very strong.the walls and windows and bedding were wet to the touch. The walls were green.we didn't take our suitcases etc out of the car because of the smell.luckily we took our own bedding to use but when we got home we had to bin it due to damp smell. There was no hot water, the kitchen light was flashing and the tv didn't work. We really wanted to leave and go home but we had already driven nine hours so had to stay it wasn't relaxing or enjoyable.
Barry from Liverpool (20 October 2017)

Liked the fact you stay in a pet free, smoke accommodation. . I only visit locations once if possible do as to get more variety. . but I can recommend kenegie manor if you wish to stay near penzance.
Customer 9 from But I Can Recommend Kenegie Manor If You Wish To S (16 October 2017)

Very nice and pleasant site. Rooms where fairly clean if a bit musty smelling. Pool area looked good and the meal I had was good value for the money.
Clive (16 October 2017)

Great location. Poolfacilities good. Bar ok but a little spartan. Accomodation was comfortable but a little faded. Only concern was the cooker hob plates were caked in some form of oil so when switched on place filled with smoke and set fire alarms off. Management apologised and offered immediate cleaning service. Kitchen was well equipped. Supermarkets (sainsbury and tesco) nearby. Close to penzance and st ives, good walking from site to ancient monuments.
Philip (16 October 2017)

Staff were friendly and responded quickly to a problem.
Raymond from Weymouth (13 October 2017)

Great location, lovely setting have booked to go back next year loved it.
Marianne from Ottery St Mary (13 October 2017)

Lovely location!
Janice from Manchester (07 October 2017)

I found my stay here very good and I have booked to come back next year.
Elaine from Stanhope County Durham (07 October 2017)

Best quality accommodation we have ever found. Peaceful fantastic autumn break can't wait til next autumn.
Audrey from Okehampton (06 October 2017)

The bungalow was perfect it had plenty of room and was ideal for the beaches for the dog the only tiny thing was no freezer compartment in the fridge. We will return again as it is great value for the price we paid
Robert from Dorchester (06 October 2017)

We enjoyed our short break. Everything was as advertised. Very dog friendly place. Great location for visiting local places of interest. We enjoyed the fresh fish from newlyn,
Rob from Bideford (06 October 2017)

Great time. Beautiful surroundings we went at the end of season but still a gorgeous place to stay
Elaine from Hoddesdon (02 October 2017)

Excellent location
Fiona from Northampton (30 September 2017)

Couldn't really fault the place. The one way system was rather annoying and it's not helpful that dogs can't be left unattended at any times as this made shopping and going out for food very difficult but no issues with any thing else . the apartments were clean. The site was quiet. Plenty of parking and a saps do right outside your door which you don't get at many places
Jessica (29 September 2017)

A warm welcome and great value. Our cottage was clean comfortable and well equipped. I found the bed too hard but my husband felt it was just right.
Christine from Ely (29 September 2017)

This isn't a high end holiday park but was ideal for a base for our walking holiday
Paul (25 September 2017)

Best dog friendly place to stay
Ann from Knottingley (23 September 2017)

Great base for a holiday with small children.
Elizabeth from Birmingham (23 September 2017)

All friendly and help full nice place to stop
Michele from Telford Shropshire (23 September 2017)

We had a lovely time .the accommodation although basic had everything that you need and was lovely furnished, clean and warm .good location, very close to a whole range of local beaches ,things to do and set in a lovely setting with good on site facilities with meals in the restaurant being excellent price with even a take away option .would definitely recommend and thinking about going back.
Mel from Pontypridd (22 September 2017)

Fantastic
Jane from Cleveley Lancashire (16 September 2017)

The only niggle was that the chalet got very cold, the heating wasn't adequate
Cyphrus from Leicester (16 September 2017)

Had takeaway on the first night from the bar but was very greasy, we were a little disappointed in it so didn’t eat from there the rest of the week, would be nice for a little more variety on the takeaway menu, also not a lot on it for vegetarians apart from chips!. . the double bed was not very wide so ended up sleeping on single beds, had annoying noise for first night but andy maintaince man sorted it by the time we got back from our day trips out and about. . . apart from that location is spot on not to far from the town but quiet enough to be out in the country side. . . I would stay again but will be a few years as we did everything that we could and visit in the area . . supermarkets nice and close. . friendly and helpful staff. . . . thanks . mark
Mark from Gloucester (16 September 2017)

Fantastic place and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
Paul from Winchester (15 September 2017)

Well equipped extremely clean comfortable bungalow
Brian from Teignmouth (15 September 2017)

Comfortable bungalow , value for money , good food at the on site club. Beautiful countryside .
Sue from Nottingham (09 September 2017)

Room's not very clean marks on carpet . hole in door window which 2 days before it was repaired and rot in some in door flames bath room had to be cleaned before it could be used. Old food left in kitchen. Hover would not pick up when checking why found no dust bag fitted and I had clean it out. . when I went to the office I was told "they have had a heavy season and that what you get when you book a bronze unit". . I will not be booking with your company this year .
Michael (09 September 2017)

We are ex-pat cornish, we stayed here as a base to visit family. nice place, and our little bungalow was fine. but I wouldn't particularly recommend kenegie manor to anyone with school-age children as activities for them are limited. . we had a couple of very minor issues with our accomodation, both of which were attended to and corrected by the maintenance team less than 15 minutes after we reported them. excellent service. . the weather wasn't condusive to 'playing' outdoors, so we didn't make use of the tennis courts or pitch-and-putt. we didn't use the pool, shop or laundry, but we did eat twice in the bar - both meals were well cooked and presented, and the value (two main meals for just £14) was excellent.
Debra from Herefordshire (08 September 2017)

Beautiful setting with convenient access to supermarkets, petrol etc. however, accommodation was dated. it was also quite basic, although for the price, I suppose that it was reasonable vfm, but the bedrooms are really cramped. the beds were hard - i've been more comfortable camping on an airbed. The accommodation was clean - in terms of general day to day cleaning, but not properly maintained in terms of long-term use eg the grouting was discoloured giving the appearance of being dirty; and I think someone should take a look at the colour of the light pull cords in the bathroom - disgusting. Not something that the weekly cleaner would be expected to sort out. the shower didn't drain very quickly and there was no hot water after 10:00pm in the bathroom sink. None of these things posed significant issues for us, so I didn't feel it necessary to complain, but I would have done otherwise. it's a shame really, as I was hoping that we had found a place for a repeat visit. I would probably stay again if I had a need, but it wouldn't be my first choice. I realise we were in a relatively low level of accommodation, so perhaps it is unfair to make a judgement based on this once experience.. the wifi didn't work.
Kathy from Farnborough (04 September 2017)

A lovely place to stay. We have been visiting here for 15 years, it's a great base for visiting the surrounding area. Nice & quiet with just enough facilities.
Claire from Bristol (01 September 2017)

Great facilities lots to do and the views were amazing.
Allan from Amble (01 September 2017)

Amazing helpful staff, beautiful location, brilliant for exploration of south cornwall what more could you ask for?
Naomi from Bristol (01 September 2017)

We stayed in bronze bungalow that was a bit basic for us, beds were hard, water heaters and shower were too fiddly. We would have preferred and paid more for a better bungalow, but understand that they are not offered to dog owners. We felt that the bar lacked atmosphere and was more like a waiting room or childrens room, therefore we did not use it or sample the meals you had to offer. . this is not a criticism of the resort, but it did not provide the comfort and standard of equipment that we normally seek. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Anthony (01 September 2017)

Lovely cottage, great location, convenient in site store that had good stuff in too get you going. Fantastically placed for quick travel to penzance where you can get the train to the rest of cornwall.
Anthony from Liverpool (01 September 2017)

Accomadation was dirty and poor the sofa in paticular was the worse we have ever experienced - the staff and facilities tried but basically the facilities are old and worn / not working and not enough staff to cope. there is not much on site and you cant really go offsite on foot - luckily we had a car and went out and about every day and even got a boat over to the scilly iles which are fantastic which helped make the holiday and we were blessed with good weather - I have stayed in cornwall many times over the years and this was by far the worse accommodation we have experienced. I don't usually give negative feedback - but would not like anyway one to spend good money and get such poor value. feel we should get a refund - the management should stay in ours and see the customer experience first hand.
Peter from Bristol (28 August 2017)

Very dissapoited curtains of rails sofa bed turn showed door haning of very very shabby
Lyn (26 August 2017)

Terrible accommodation, most awful smell in the bungalow very undated and needs extreme thoughts on refurbishing . tired looking and not enough facilities
Mandy from Langley (25 August 2017)

Can place to be rooms clean and tiedy paula cook and bar bless her was lvly kids loved it but there was no entertainments
Yvonne (25 August 2017)

Had the best holiday ever here at kenegie manor the staff were brilliant and the home made food was brilliant and very affordable.
Karla from Newcastle (25 August 2017)

We had a gold apartment which is advertised as having quality furnishings, it does not. don't get me wrong, the apartment was clean but furniture was old, uncomfortable and stained. the outside of the apartment was filthy, covered in bird excrement and cobwebs (both the entrance and the balcony). the kitchen was adequate but could have been bigger as there was a lot of wasted space in the living area. the park itself needs some tlc, everything is old and a grubby. it could be beautiful but needs money spent on it. for example the bins should be in a covered area, there was an old leather armchair sat by the bins the whole week which does not give a good impression on arrival. it felt like there is a lack of sufficient staff to run what is potentially a lovely park. unfortunately we felt it was overpriced for what you get.
Joanne from Nuneaton (19 August 2017)

Cottage poorly equipped. No welcome pack ie tea coffee milk. Hairs in shower. No towels. Over priced site shop.
Helen from Shropshire (19 August 2017)

The place was full of mould , damp and was filthy we stayed 1 night then went home . absolutely disgraceful .
Andy from Devon (18 August 2017)

Apartment was really clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately bar was very dated and we didn't really want to eat or spend evenings there. The grounds were neat and well kept. With a bit of work on the bar area this could be a lovely place.
Vicki from Buxton (12 August 2017)

Was a fabulous holiday at kenegie, the only downside was our bungalow no1 was so damp my asthma was not great because of it and it felt like getting into wet beds. Did mention it but not much was said. Loved the pool and bar staff were fab. Area was beautiful xx
Carrie from Gorleston Norfolk (11 August 2017)

Good location to penzance and surrounding places of interest. Apart from pool not a lot for kids to do, the park is not really a park. Quite quiet.
Paul from Bedford (05 August 2017)

Staff very helpful, location is fantastic,
Steven from Norfolk (05 August 2017)

You must have a car as no buses pass near. . the bungalow was well equipped but, could not cook anything because of the sensitive smoke/ heat alarms keep going off.
Philomena from London (05 August 2017)

Basic site and accommodation but great service, helpful staff and fantastic location. Swimming pool, table tennis and tennis court is enough to occupy the kids but not so much that you have to stay on site. We spent lots of time exploring the area and the kids managed to fit in a swim and some tennis most days. Plenty of supermarkets in easy reach (30 mins pleasant walk or 5 min drive).
Michelle from Poole (05 August 2017)

We went to kenegie manor about 16 years ago but sadly the place has not changed since. everything from the bar area to the cottages themselves look like they have not been decorated. it is in much need of a refurb and booking in via the bar which is poorly kept is something you dont want when you get there following a 9 hour drive (wifi was very poor too). staff was very friendly but the overall place was of a poor standard. the cottage itself was ok but it wasnt very clean with food left under the sofa bed which my kids needed to sleep on. there was a damp musty smell when we got there but that eventually went once we bought some air freshers. the kids play area was a joke and there is nothing for the kids other than the small arcade area (where 3 of the arcades dint work) and the tennis court where the nets were not tight enough. the pool was ok but was too busy and it was a concern that the life guard kept leaving his post to serve customers at the desk! . . overall very disappointing. the best thing about the park was the location as its pretty central to everything else in cornwall. sadly we wont be going again but if you need a well located place to simply sleep at then it may suit your needs. given the price we paid we were left dissapointed and wont be going back. its a shame as I remember this place being amazing which is why we booked it. unfortunately it hasnt been touched since!
Stephen from Liverpool (29 July 2017)

Spent a lovely week at kenegie in july. All the promotional material showed the lovely front of the manor house and I think I was expecting to see that as we approached the park so it was a bit disappointing on arriving at the park that the manor house itself is surrounded by trees and not really accessible to guests. . my family stayed in a bronze pet friendly bungalow, the accommodation was basic but it had everything that we needed. I would say though that when visiting in the colder months my worry would be that the bungalow would be cold and damp as the only heating was a portable heater in the living room and a towel rail in the bathroom. The water heating system too seems a bit dated and there was a very curious little water heater over the sink in the bathroom. My children enjoyed the pool area it's not big but certainly an adequate size for the number of guests that used it, a little bit of attention to the cleanliness of the changing rooms could be needed though. We didn't eat food in the old forge bar, but we did go a couple of nights for a drink, the kids liked the fact there was a pool table, dart board and some board games that could be played with. It sounds like i'm moaning when i'm not really, we had a lovely week exploring cornwall and kenegie manor was a good base for my family, just I found the place isn't quite as "grand" as the brochure makes out.
Karen from North Yorkshire (29 July 2017)

Surrounding grounds were nice and we'll kept not much to do on site and a bit outility of penzance
Craig from Falkirk (22 July 2017)

Complete value for money
Amy from Castle Donington (22 July 2017)

No shop on site no entertainment nearest shop 2 miles away we got there on the evening I ask if they could sell me a little milk for the morning and was refused you had to drive everywhere ironing board was covered in dog hair if there was 4 people in the bar they closed 9:45 saturday evening
Carol from Tamworth (22 July 2017)

Excellent place to stay. Quite and pleasant surroundings. Lovely bungalow we stayed in, and was very well kept. Will be coming back again.
Kevin from Lincoln (21 July 2017)

The shower water came through the ceiling. I wouldn't revisit kenegie manor. There was minimal seating in the bar and you end up standing if you aren't there early enough.
Jessica from Bolton (17 July 2017)

Cottage was very comfortable but a bit basic as we had a pet friendly cottage. . staff were lovely and very friendly, thr surroundings were beautiful and very peaceful. . I would definitely return.
Kathryn from Shropshire (15 July 2017)

The gold apartment was very large, thought slightly outdated decor. The kitchen was very well equipped and loved having a washing machine in the apartment. The bedrooms were large however the spring mattresses were pretty awful and there were no black-out curtains on the windows which meant light got it very early in the morning and late at night (we went in june). the living/dining room was very large, though the flat screen tv was a bit small (though we nearly watched it). the biggest issue for us was that we had no reception on our smartphones and there was no wifi in the apartment (only in the bar/pub). the location was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a little small and highly chlorinated but the kids loved it, and it was good to have it as an option on the one day that was rainy. The food at the bar/pub was basic and not very good, we only ate there once on the night we arrived. There is a mcdonalds and kfc less than 10 minutes drive from the park, as well as a couple of large supermarkets.
Nophar from Manchester (15 July 2017)

Great location with good facilities for the price. Definitely will recommend to others. Please, however provide towels and teatowels next time.
Rex from Dunedin, New Zealand (10 July 2017)

The location was excellent and the accommodation was set on a lovely park with lots of greenery. It was a good price but the accommodation was very dated, it was to that point that the cleaners maybe couldn't clean it property. I was not expecting it to be 5*, but there was a build up of dried food between the cooker and worktop, and the bathroom had mould. We ended up leaving a day early.
Natalie from It Was A Good Price But The Accommodation Was Ver (07 July 2017)

The whole park is tired and needs money spent to update it. The bar area doubles as the restaurant and is dark and dreary wasn't very inviting. Shop was being renovated so wasn't open. both bathrooms had grouting that needed attention as it was mouldy, and loose floor tiles in one. Both sofas needed cleaning as one was cream when new but now grey and the sofa bed was uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. All the windows were swollen so did not open and shut easily
Graham from Ockendon (01 July 2017)

Lovely place and the staff are fantastic. Sadly we pick a week where it did nothing but rain so was so greatfull for the pool and cheap toys that was sold on site.
Penny from Runcorn (01 July 2017)

Bugalow was dated with uncomfortable sofa, and there was very little to do on site with a toddler, the play park was poor.
Jonathan (30 June 2017)

My daughter and I had a great weekend at kenegie manor, it was a lovely quieter park - we would definitely stay here again.
Ruth from Bournemouth (26 June 2017)

The location was great. The grounds were lovely and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was the bungalow, it was very tired looking inside. Faded pictures, cobwebs in the bathroom. There was an upturned table outside which was full of leaves. My husband tidied it up within minutes of arriving. The bed was amazing, best sleep we've had in ages. The bed linen was spotless. I would not rule out staying there again as it was such a wonderful location. They just need a little bit of updating.
Karen from Tredegar (24 June 2017)

Nice place in a lovely part of cornwall. Cottage a little tired, settee very uncomfortable as very soft. All in all it is ok as a holiday base.
Kathleen (24 June 2017)

Fantastic location. Shame that the manor and restaurant are so run down. We turned up to our cottage to find the garden furniture strewn all over and the gardens not well kept. Not the what we were expecting. Cottage was good however watch out for the ants. By the end of the week they were every where.
David (19 June 2017)

A good holiday cottage with good facilities as well as very helpful staff. The area is close to both the north as well as south coast of cornwall with st. Ives just 6 miles away and penzance 1 1/2. The restaurant supplies good range of food at reasonable prices
Graham from Upminster, Essex (17 June 2017)

No entertauanment bar shuts 9pm slot machine didnt pay out
William from Torquay (12 June 2017)

Wonderful ,and very convenient location. We were so relaxed here, and happy to return to our holiday bungalow. Everything needed was supplied...and it's dog friendly. Unfortunately, that leads to our only complaint. It is near farmland, and there was regularly the sound of shotguns. Our dog was rarely as relaxed as we were!! despite this,we plan to return
Ian from Liskeard (02 June 2017)

No wifi, pool closed too early, bar was operated at different timings.
Jyothi (29 May 2017)

The bungalow was a little dated, sofa bed needs changing, only 4 dining room chairs when 5 booked in, garden furniture in poor condition with a damaged/cracked table, new shower but shower rail had not so the shower head would not stay up. I got a deal on the price for the week we went, 20/5/17 so yes it probably was value for money. However if I had paid the going rate for the following week I would have been really disappointed.
Jackie from Coulsdon (27 May 2017)

Fantastic
Lorna from Nottingham (27 May 2017)

Excellent place to chill and enjoy the beautiful area.
Diane from Moreton In Marsh (26 May 2017)

Lovely holiday only one thing wrong. We booked with houseason and they said towels were included but when we got there we were told they had been taken over by john fowler so we had to pay £10 to hire some. Then we ended up buying some as we were there for 2 weeks .i do not feel this is very good customer relations as no one informed me of this and I wonder how many other people will get caught like this
Janice (26 May 2017)

Really enjoyed holiday, location was great and accommodation was more than acceptable, would stay again
Sarah from Llandrindod Wells (20 May 2017)

The accommodation was sub standard and the estate including the bar/restaurant could do with updating and investment. The reception was apparently under conversion but no work witnessed. great location near to penzance and stunning views.
Lee from Norfolk (20 May 2017)

Good location. Pub needs to have longer hours. Pool needs longer hours although was lovely and a small on site shop for essentials would be beneficial staff all friendly and polite accomodation needs to be ready for 4 o clock as ours was not
Tracy from Southampton (20 May 2017)

Fanatic time but due to family problems has to cut short, but overall the staff were great would go back.
Les from Bristol (19 May 2017)

You pay for what you get, it's cheap but cheerful, bad points are the bar is pretty naff but the food is good, got a free drink with the booking which was a nice touch, no wifi obviously except in the bar, mini golf is just a ten foot square piece of grass, pool is tiny and no ventilation so you can't breathe in there so didn't go, the kids play park is one tiny block which did not interest my four year old at all, didn't bother looking for the tennis courts. The cottages themselves are simple and plain and had absolutely no problems with ours it was quite nice to be honest, liked the parking right outside the cottage door and the area surrounding is nice too. Would have loved to know more about penzance and things to do and see though, struggled to find much. Overall I would recommend this for a cheap week in cornwall, as long as you are out during the day and aren't wanting on site facilities, we didn't so we were quite happy with it.
Emily from Nottingham (15 May 2017)

Lovely location with lots of nice places to visit nearby. We lovely the swimming and hot tub facilities which meant we could take our little girl each afternoon. Only thing we didn't like was that we weren't told you needed to provide your own washing up brushes and stuff. Maybe this is because we haven't done a self catering style holiday before so didn't know what to expect. Overall a fantastic site and lovely location. We are already recommending to family and friends.
Kim from Redditch (15 May 2017)

There was a problem with ants in the kitchen area of the bungalow but when reported to reception we were told "it's the season". we think the ants were coming up the pipes at the back of the cooker, fridge which obviously has not been pulled out and cleaned for a while. we found the water heater in the bathroom over the sink hugely inadequate.
Susan from Derbyshire (13 May 2017)

We were in a gold bungalow. It was very well maintained and very clean and very homely. Only minus was a. next doors outside seating was directly outside the windows where we sat to eat. They could see us and we could see them, both were embarrassed. also the path to our bungalow came directly toward our bungalow and others had to use it as a walkway and looked directly into the living area where we sat. The only privacy therefore was with the curtains shut. . the swimming pool was excellent. The site was nice and quiet even though there were many holiday makers but not many children at the time. We were there beginning of may.
Carol from Callington Cornwall (12 May 2017)

The park was in a lovely rural area but only just over a mile from penzance itself. lovely and quiet which suited us fine. the food in the bar was absolutely wonderful. very tasty, homemade and very reasonable pricewise. they usually do a daily special which is an even better deal. great centre for exploring the bottom end of cornwall.
Elizabeth from Bournemouth (12 May 2017)

One of the best holiday ever
Mohamed from Watford (08 May 2017)

A very peaceful, quiet clean site ideal for relaxing, will certainly book again.
Pd from Swansea (06 May 2017)

Good value & location to explore
Edward from Birmingham (06 May 2017)

A very nice place to stay. Peaceful but close enough to local town.
Diane from Watton (06 May 2017)

A wonderful base to tour that part of cornwall. Accommodation great, clean, tidy and well laid out. Just the job for the older holiday maker who do not want the fuss of kiddy activities.
Paul (29 April 2017)

We didn't use any of the facilities so not able to rate them. The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable.
David from Halesowen (29 April 2017)

The location was ideal and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Susan from Plymouth (29 April 2017)

Great place to stay, helpful friendly staff and lovely surroundings
Heather from Bury, Lancs (29 April 2017)

Husband, myself and dog had a lovely time and would recommend it to anyone wanting a holiday in that area.
Carole from Wrexham (29 April 2017)

The location was really good.the children enjoyed being by the coasts scenery was amazing.the cottage was ok needs some updating on mattresses.
Nehgut from Birmingham (21 April 2017)

No internet access in the bungalow and the only place with a weak signal was in the bar/playroom. . in this modern world very poor lack of communication facilities. . dissapointing
Michael from Gloucester (21 April 2017)

Very good place to stay, nice and quiet, very cheap. We had a lovely chottage, fully equipped. Just the food in the restaurant could be better. I would definitely recommend overall though and would come again 100%
Patrycja from Coventry (17 April 2017)

Loved it. my only criticism would be that the chalets are a bit "dated" but it was comfy, clean and practical, as a base perfect.
Valerie from Lutterworth (17 April 2017)

Excellent location and the park was perfect for what we wanted. Staff were super friendly and helpful and offered us a free drink on our first night which was a lovely gesture! the bungalow was clean and a good size, very quiet despite being the easter weekend. Fab value for money, we will definitely be back.
Stacey from Rugby (17 April 2017)

We stayed there for 7nights in april the bungalow was lovely two good sized bedrooms and beds we're more comfortable than expected, it was on top of a hill be all in all a great location. About 25min drive from newquay and lands end respectively and about 20mins from st ives were are a young couple of 23 and 25 and very much enjoyed our week here. We would return :)
Chelsey (15 April 2017)

Lovely quiet place to stay, excellent location. we have been visiting for 13 years.
Claire from Bristol (14 April 2017)

We needed a place to go to while our bathroom was out of action, we only live about 8 miles away. We were really happy with the site and especially our accommodation plus the sun was shining what more do you need. The pool and jacuzzi was a nice bonus also. If friends want to stay in cornwall from up country I would recommend kenegie manor ( especially our chalet ( no 27 )
Andy from Praze-An Beeble, Camborne (14 April 2017)

Great weekend away gold apartment was very spacious and comfortable but lacked cooking pots and pans. also there was no mention on any of the paperwork that towels were not provided, hence we had to purchase towels. But saying that I would certainly return.
Kevin from Devon (10 April 2017)

The site and location were great. The only moan was that we're not any mirrors in the bedrooms. Overall a great stay.
Margaret from Plymouth (07 April 2017)

A nice and we understand that a site shop will be opening soon would be handy, however tesco's and sainsbury's are not that to far away
Tim from Northampton (01 April 2017)

No shop on site
Peter from Nottingham (01 April 2017)

A very good park with excellent facilities we have stayed twice now and can recommend it ideal for dog lovers as the park has all the facilities needed and you can take them in the bar!
Judith from Chichester (31 March 2017)

Great break, thoroughly enjoyable. Great value for money and the staff were absolutely wonderful.
Tanya from London (27 March 2017)

It was a good weekend but the chalets was looking alittle tired and in need of a little bit of tlc but as for the special price money well spent
Rosanna from Callington Cornwall (27 March 2017)

Having looked at some of the reviews was reluctant. The property itself was clean adequately equiped and provided a good base. . pool and sauna was kept clean and tidy. . great value for money.
Kevin from Paignton (17 March 2017)

Very nice break away from the busy life. Lovely and quiet. Nice accommodation.
Andrew from Shrewsbury (17 March 2017)

This short break suited us perfectly. Our small jack russells behaved really well and we found the location really good for touring all the sights around this part of cornwall. not sure if it would be as easy come high season. only down side was the water pressure in the shower and the shortage of hot water in terms of volume in the kitchen. But these are small gripes and from memory of my childhood holidays in the uk, not unusual.
Michael from Dorchester (13 March 2017)

Was down for my daughter's wedding great base clean warm and very comfortable
Nicola from Cowes Isle Of Wight (10 March 2017)

Dog friendly, food was good at a fair price, pool was good with a nice coffee bar where you can have a drink. Overhaul very nice short break.
David from Dunstable (10 March 2017)

Excellent value for money.
Barry (06 March 2017)

Good place to stay very quiet suggest having transport tho
Ben from Colchester (06 March 2017)

Great place to go
Wendy from Somerset (06 March 2017)

Stayed here for our honeymoon. Was lovely. The staff were great.
Tony from Daventry (03 March 2017)

I really enjoyed my holiday . we went there to chill out which is exactly what we did .the accommodation we were given was beautiful . I did expect there to be evening entertainment in the bar but when there wasn't it was nice and quiet. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. The swimming pool is lovely and changing rooms were very clean . the site is kept very clean and tidy. There is loads of places to go nearby.
Rebecca from Aberdare (24 February 2017)

Family had a great time. They enjoyed playing pool and darts in the bar and using the swimming pool. The new sauna was also a great way to relax. . staff were friendly and the accommodation was very good. Clean, tidy and warm. . kenegie was a good location for many activities and the scenery around the area was beautiful.
Victoria from Dorset (18 February 2017)

In simple words we loved it, may need a few more activities but overall perfect, clean, value for money and so much to see near by places. See you again soon
Amarjit from Bristol (18 February 2017)

We were the first customers to arrive for the 2017 season and although last minute preparations where underway in reception and the bar, our accommodation was already warm and everything clean and inviting. We had terrible weather, but exploring the surrounding areas of penzance bay made up for it. Many thanks to the staff and workers at kenegie
Uwe (13 February 2017)

I booked 6 days before going and the gold apartment really large very clean, the only thing was the bedroom storage, not enough if you were a family and I kept some of my stuff in the case, for a short stay it was ok but would not like it for a week or more. As we were there out of season no facility's open.
Barbara from Newport (27 January 2017)

Was a lovely break the lady who runs it was very helpful would def stay again.
Rita (20 January 2017)

We stayed here in the winter months so there was no staff and the facilities were unavailable so cant really comment on that however, the whole place is set in beautiful surrounding and close to the local town. We would definelty go back
Gemma from Lancing (02 January 2017)

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at kenegie manor. The apartment was fantastic lots of room, all facilities, we highly recommend it.
Bruce from Barnet (01 October 2016)

My fiancee & I were very pleased with our accommodation which had everything we needed & was clean. It was very good value for money also. Would definitely stay again & recommend.
Sean from Nuneaton (01 October 2016)

2 adults and small dog staying at time (late september) when few children would be onsite and less occupied site. Accommodation good. Location close to 'everywhere' we wanted to go - or seemed to be!. comfy beds, very important! . no concern about few facilities. . would be much to crowded at peak times - for this couple at least. Shortage of public footpaths - not the fault of kenegie manor!
Kevin from Gillingham Dorset (30 September 2016)

Great location..marvelous setting. Very helpful staff..which made a refreshing change. Value for money..we expected the accomodation to be basic re: the cost..but far from it..very well equipped, clean and upto date. Keneggie has a timeless magic about it..well worth a stay.
Tracy from Spalding Lincs (30 September 2016)

Lovely location. Just very run down, needs a lot of upgrading could be a great holiday destination. Was a let down when we arrived, the cottage was clean and tidy just needs modernising and final touches. Was also shocked to see the second hand furniture van show up and it made sense that they are using used furniture.
Nicole (30 September 2016)

Beautiful setting, comfortable accomodation, pleasant staff, only downside would benifit from a little shop of some discription on site but other than that minor point a most relaxing holidaywe have had for some years and would definitly revisit kenegie manor again.
Michael from Chesterfield (24 September 2016)

Was such a lovely place! loved our little house/cottage we stayed in it was lovely and we didn't want to leave!! will deffo come back again. Only complaints is there was no amusements on the site for us to do at night so wasn't a lot to do at night apart from watch tv or go drive out to somewhere. & our oven didn't work but that didn't matter to us as we never would of used it. Loads of room!!
Rosie from Loughton Essex (24 September 2016)

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. Love this place so much i've already booked for next year
Brian from Basildon (24 September 2016)

Excellent site. Really quiet. Will almost certainly return
Stephen from Monmouth (17 September 2016)

We booked this site as we were attending a family members wedding in the area and it was the closest pet friendly place. We we're really pleasantly surprised by what we got, the site and accommodation (bronze cottage) were clean and spacious, the pool was fab, really warm and the staff were really friendly and helpful - especially paula in the bar. love the area and have been many times to visit relatives, lots to do and the site is less than 10 minutes drive to local supermarkets so easy to get supplies too.
Felicity (12 September 2016)

Well equipped bungalow..peaceful
Graham from Swadlincote (10 September 2016)

Enjoyed a weeks stay at kenegie manor nice clean cottage, we didn't realize there were no towels though. The restaurant was a bit disappointing because we had a long wait for our meal and the food wasn't anything special. On the whole we had a lovely stay good location and visited many places.
Roger from Nottingham (10 September 2016)

Would not recommend. Worst place ever. Belongs in the 70s
Frank from Taunton (02 September 2016)

First holiday with our little dog, who thoroughly enjoyed himself plenty of walks and not too far from a beach with all year round doggie access
Jonathan from Taunton (02 September 2016)

Great been here twice now can't wait for next time thanks
Mark from St Helens (29 August 2016)

The chalet was absolutely filthy - there was thick dust under all the beds and behind all cupboards and wardrobes and the window we're thick in dirt(never been cleaned) . the cleaner obviously cleaned the minimal. The sofa felt dirty and smelt. The chalet had a very damp smell about it and all the wardrobes had mound inside so much so that we never unpacked our clothes but we still had to wash everything when we got home to get rid of the smell.
Jessica (29 August 2016)

Staff are helpful but the bungalow we stayed in was filthy we had to ask for it to be cleaned and it was very dated.
Matthew from Wellingborough (13 August 2016)

Lovely quiet site, close to everthing you need
Stephen from Bury St Edmunds (06 August 2016)

The staff were very pleasant and as helpful as they could be.
Deborah from Brixham, Devon (01 August 2016)

Accommodation is dated and grubby. The facilities especially the pool were in need of some investment, and considering the write up on the website I did think i'd arrived at a different place when I first arrived.
