Was pleasant
Jan from Oxford (02 September 2018)

Functional, clean and comfortable becoming slightly dated
Paul from Redhill (01 September 2018)

Entertainment finished at 10.30 even though it was school holidays. Asked to leave as they were closing. Accommodation dirty
Lynnette (31 August 2018)

Excellent experience!
Calvin from Southampton (27 August 2018)

We love it at hoburne naish. We last came 5 years ago while I was pregnant with my son and so we thought we’d bring him back to a place we have fond memories. They’ve improved a great deal over the last few years and the facilities are great. Perfect location for a family holiday. We will definitely return!
Jenny from Milton Keynes (27 August 2018)

My only complaint was the wifi. We were in the dell (next to the main road, farthest from the main buildings). the wifi would not work inside our lodge, it would work if you were outside. A minor thing I know, but it made planning our days more difficult. We were lucky to have nice weather to sit outside. That would’ve made it far more of an issue.
Nicholas (24 August 2018)

When we arrived I drove into the entrance and saw a lot of chalets in the dark amongst trees. And thought I hope I haven't got one of those. Well I did. It was right next to the main road. I asked if it was possible to be moved. But I was given every excuse under the as to why I can't be moved. I was then told that it was dog friendly. Umm I didn't bring a dog. I was then told that I didn't ask for non dog friendly. We took the given chalet. We also thought that they have tried to outdo themselves as the site was too big for the size of the entertainment facilities. We used to visit years ago and really noticed the difference.
Denise from Maidenhead (18 August 2018)

Bit pricey, but overall fantastic.
Paul from Northampton (17 August 2018)

Great park . good local beaches and sites of interest . fully recommend
Paul from Welney (17 August 2018)

We were in the dell and traffic noise was very loud from early in the morning, beds had poor quality mattresses, loud buzzing noise from electrical box in bedroom and television in bedroom loss of sound constantly.poor quality bathroom fittings sink tables peeling.air conditioning needed when we stayed temperatures were low twenties and bedrooms were very hot.site was very clean and well maintained, swimming pools were excellent for children, cafe was reasonably priced, brassiere food only average and no drinks price list available.
Paul (17 August 2018)

Very nice staff , good location very good cafe and restaurants. Lodge considering it was luxury was terrible needs a complete refurbish, stained carpets , mould and leaking showers , hot tub was very nice and checked daily by staff.
Bessie from Bedford (13 August 2018)

Good break with the family
Greg from Lostock (13 August 2018)

Although obviously dated, the vintage chalet had a charm of its own and provided all we could have needed. The chalet was clean and well equipped and the view was astounding. The site overall was excellent, well maintained and well equipped, with all amenities we could have asked for.
Claire from Bury (11 August 2018)

A great location near the beach with lifeguards in attendance. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Gwen (11 August 2018)

Site is very nice overall unfortunately the lodge was bad. Dirty both inside and outside, quite a number of nails sticking out at children's eye level holding planks of wood on around the outside of the lodge, overall very poor value for the price.
Lynne (10 August 2018)

The lodge was amazing. Very clean and suitable for out needs. The park had excellent facilities providing a good source of entertainment for the children. The only criticism would be the late night entertainment from hollyoaks lee otway. Terrible.
Jason from Mansfield (10 August 2018)

Lodge was a disappointment. Lights not working outside, cookerhood lights not working, extractor not working in bathrooms. Hot tub not working properly. Dishwasher and oven replaced during the holiday. Lodge fixtures and fittings looked tired. Staff very helpful and courteous. Swimming pool areas clean and warm. Children's play area was well laid out.
Jill from Kent (04 August 2018)

Excellent holiday, family included toddlers and teenagers. All really enjoyed it and want to go again! we were very lucky to have amazing weather so lots of days on the beach.
Claire from Chippenham (04 August 2018)

Paid a lot of money for a lodge that was worn and tired. Peeling paint, wallpaper..although clean it looked tired and I expected better.
Andrew from Southampton (03 August 2018)

We had a fantastic break. I thought all activities were reasonably priced, as was the food in the cafe. The staff we encountered were helpful. The place is clean and tidy. Our chalet was basic as expected but clean and comfortable. And the view was absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be returning
Elizabeth from Waterlooville (03 August 2018)

Really nice lodge and the hot tub was awesome! the facilities are clean and kept well and up to date. We will visit again
Pete from Frinton On Sea (30 July 2018)

Good holiday everything well maintained. Seems a bit petty that you had to pay for the crazy golf. Unit lovely but kitchen equipment a bit sparse could do with more baking dishes.
Lesley from Gt Notley Essex (28 July 2018)

Had a fantastic holiday, lovely chalet , value for money ,helpful and entertainment team were brilliant .
Pam from Clacton (28 July 2018)

Great little break away in a lodge with a hot tub. Quiet location very clean site kids enjoyed it. Will come back next year
Emma (27 July 2018)

We have been to hoburne naish many times and we have had lots of happy holidays.this one was not a good one,no fault of hoburne, our 7 year old dog suddenly died.so not a happy time. . the site is very nice,we took our children here and now we are taking our grandchildren here, sammy sea horse was better in the 90's. . the only fault this time was lodge ml49 'ants' hundreds of ants on floor, table, chairs, kitchen and ant power everywhere. Not good.
Mark from Ashford (27 July 2018)

Every thing was perfect
George from London (23 July 2018)

We really enjoyed four days in the chewton lodge. It was modern and clean. The location was good to get to surrounding area. The site splash pool was sooo warm that I took my new born baby in too. Warmest pool I have ever been. The only let down is the restaurant. Service was extremely slow so we decided to cook/takeaway after first night.
Kitty (20 July 2018)

Great location on site. Older lodge but comfortable had everything needed. Parking close by. Amenities very good.
Carole from Northampton (20 July 2018)

Found all staff friendly and helpful at all times.
Chris from Broomfield, Kent (16 July 2018)

Great break thankyou.
Geoffrey from Staines On Thames (14 July 2018)

Last minute booking . very reasonable as chalet was excellent. Due to circumstances we did not explore the facilities in the main building but we were very impressed by the park as a whole. Would love to return.
Beverley from Luton (13 July 2018)

The entertainment was not poor this may be because it was not school holidays. Breakfast on our last morning was late and not correct. There was not enough staff to cope with the demand, as I pointed out to the customer experience manager. Enjoyed the adult swim time.
Christine from Dagenham (13 July 2018)

Excellent time at hoburne naish would definitely go again
Andrew from Ruskington (13 July 2018)

Had a great time just me and hubby. Tho chalet was old, dated and worn out (bit like ourselves). views were stunning and we enjoyed local walks. The breakfast in the onsite cafe was awful, everything was soaked in mushroom oil and had turned black and soggy. Our mattress was the worst point tho. It was like sleeping on concrete
Ian from Gillingham. Kent (13 July 2018)

Lodge was beautiful very clean and spacious hot tub was lovely and clean surroundings were quiet and peaceful overall a lovely little family break will definitely return
Liza from Portsmouth (09 July 2018)

Very good customer service.recycling facilities should definitely be a priority so bins provided in each area so people encouraged to recycle more.pool facilities good.
Aji from Addlestone (09 July 2018)

Great location with fantastic views along the coast
John from Hartley Wintney (07 July 2018)

Our lodge was virtually brand new and was well equipped. We went out of season so the site was quiet and good value. Very safe swimming pools lead to a very relaxing holiday. Proximity to the beach was a real bonus.
Sue from Tunbridge Wells (06 July 2018)

The lodge was not as described, the carpets were filthy. The windows needed cleaning & also not enough equipment if there was to be full occupancy. With people going by all the time no privacy, the outside seating was rubbish needed replacing & the door fastener was replaced by string.
Susan from Spalding (06 July 2018)

An extremely well presented park which is well maintained and cared for.
Michael from Westgate On Sea, Kent (30 June 2018)

Had a lovely 5 days. Only criticism was that none of the ladies toilets at the swimming pool were working for 2 days.
Jennifer from Orpington (29 June 2018)

Great lodge and great location.. would visit again
Kim from Southampton (25 June 2018)

Rubbish chalet disgusting refused to stay in chalet
Keith from Tamworth (25 June 2018)

A glorified caravan park!
Joyce from Wickford (16 June 2018)

Had a great time. Location being so close to the beach was great, beach below was lovely. . the staff and particularly the kids entertainer were very friendly. We felt like the kids entertainers enjoyed their jobs and wanted to be there and were great with the kids, went able and beyond to entertain and make the holiday enjoyable for us all.
Mel from Manchester (09 June 2018)

Always enjoy coming here to the cliff-top ashurst chalets. The view is glorious, even if the weather was not this time. Facilities: bar, restaurant, pool, gym etc good. We know the chalet facilities are limited but wish we could have new mattresses because these ones are always too hard and leave us feeling stiff to start the day.

Me and my wife have been going to naish since we metwe went with her parents before we got married. . we took our two lads when they were young. . . now we are both nearly 65 and we have taken advantage of a restful break in one of the chalets faceing the isle of whiteon the slowly decaying cliff. . . we will take advantage, of out of peek times when ever we can manage it,as long as the price allows us to. . as you can imagine, we have seen a lot of changes, over the time we have visited there. . Great place, especially for children up to 9yrs old. Facilities were all closed for refurbishment (apart from the pool) which was a shame, as we weren't told before we went. Overall though, well worth a visit!

Lovely accommodation great size and all utensils provided. pretty location. swimming pool ok, the staff were very strict though with what you can and can’t do. no entertainment on the week we went which was half term for us so this was disappointing. soft play area inside is quite small but children did enjoy it for 30 minutes or so. restaurant on site was overpriced and the menu choice limited ( not the menu advertised on line or in our log cabin)- food nothing special.
Gillian from Manchester (17 February 2018)

We have visited hoburne naish many times and enjoy our stay. one problem we noticed at some of the lodges is that there are windows with slanted tops in the living area and only net curtains, which doesn't give much privicy and in the summer you cannot shut out the sun with a curtain. . . the last time we stayed the sofas were not very comfortable. I used a pillow as a cushion to sit on. But the beds were comfortable and there were lots of wardrobes and cupboards. . we also noticed there was an absolute minimum of kitchen equipment and no welcome pack with cloths and a small bottle of washing up liquid this time.
Deborah (03 November 2017)

Only had 4 days the lodge was past its best and could do with updating. The site. Is ideal in most respects. taking our cocker spaniel for her holidays only a short stroll to a . lovely beach she is allowed to go on.

Holiday was perfect for our party of 4 adults and a toddler on a last minute short break at end of season, with our labrador. The lodge was as described, but the security lights were not working but this was resolved very promptly. the restaurant was slightly dissapointing seeming to have run out of several options ,and not knowing how to make a gin and tonic, but again end of season and very young staff doing their best. The area of accommodation is huge and variable and I would be more than happy to stay again in my own personal context. Igot great value and enjoyed every minute!

We have been going for nearly fifty years - so seen lots of changes .. not all good. . perfect position always, which we love. the lodge was cleaned better this year, but the swimming pool area is left very unattended cleanliness wise ... the changing room floors and area are never swept through and quite slimy .. not nice. it wouldn't take much for one of the attendants to walk through at intervals and sweep etc.

Park and lodge very tired and shabby. Needs tlc. Mould in bedroom and bathroom. Had to buy our own utensils as ones provided were no good. Informed staff that outside light on our lodge was not working and you could not see where you were going at night. Nothing was done.

We found the lodge to be spacious and spotless... the children's early evening entertainment was good. The food was good in the bistro, although we were not advised at the time of booking a table, ( on two occasions) that there were no beef dishes available. My only negative comment was the amount of rabbit droppings on the crazy golf course, that my 2 year old grand-daughter found intriguing!!!
Barbara from Tenterden (20 October 2017)

Great lodge - great facilities - very friendly and helpful staff - overall a brilliant holiday!
Richard from Wednesbury (16 October 2017)

The location of the park on the cliff top overlooking the isle of wight is fantastic. the ashurst chalet was basic but spotlessly clean and the bedding was of high quality. The grounds were kept to a high standard.

Anton from Zwolle/The Netherlands (13 October 2017)

Great location, friendly staff, spacious and clean lodges, good value for money.one of the best holiday park's that we have been too, will be returning.
Sandra from Somerset (13 October 2017)

We had a fantastic time. Was disappointing that our lodge was late being ready on our arrival day. . the photos do not do the place justice especially the swimming pool area. We went out of season, so got a good price im not sure we would go back in season having looked at the prices. . more information on the local area would be nice in the welcome pack. The wifi was shocking.
Matthew (13 October 2017)

Good all round holiday. fairly good accommodation. No complaints, just a suggestion that a doormat would be helpful to avoid trekking grass etc. Into the chalet! also rubbish bin far too small.
Brenda from Gillingham, Kent (13 October 2017)

We got a great deal on the cabin. It was very spacious and clean. The activities on site for our 3 year old were fantastic he loved everything. The children entertainers made our stay. Would love to go back and hoping to find another deal :-)
Emma from Kenley (13 October 2017)

Loved our family holiday. Have stayed here 3 times now and my 2yr old daughter has asked to come back next year!!
Stacey from Chichester (13 October 2017)

This was our first visit, and my wife and I had a wonderful time, everything was really great,

We spent a long weekend in a three bedroom end lodge, which was "nearly new". it was lovely. The living area is modern and comfortable. The kitchen area is very nice to work in and is well equipped, including a dishwasher. the three bedrooms are of a good size, each with a wardrobe, the main bedroom having an ensuite. The second bedroom has two normal sized single beds with a door to the family bathroom with shower in the full sized bath. There is also a door to the family bathroom from the hall. The third bedroom is of a similar size with a further two single beds. We all agreed that the beds are very comfortable. the door to the lodge is through a utility room with washing machine and a great place to leave shoes etc. there are patio doors from the lounge onto a good sized decked area with outside seating and table with parasol. I was very impressed with this holiday park and particularly the lodge. We know the area and know there are many places to visit. I would certainly recommend hoburne naish, and would certainly return there myself.
Sheila from Milton Keynes (09 October 2017)

4 adults 2 dogs looking to relax and enjoy the walks on the beach, and that's exactly what we got. The beach 5 minutes walk from the accommodation, choice of 2 very long beaches, turn left a quiet sandy beach with only dog walkers, turn right a stone beach at first turning into a sandy one full of families but still dog friendly. Accommodation was good and had ample room for everyone with all the facilities you would need, looking forward to our next visit
