Maintenance still an issue although quickly resolved.it would be nice if the restaurant did breakfast.
Ann (11 December 2017)

Absolutely gorgeous lodge and site! would recommend again and again!
James from Witney, Oxon (11 December 2017)

Our third visit to hawkchurch. Perfect as always.
Carole (11 December 2017)

Great accommodation with everything you need, lovely bathroom and bedrooms, the restaurant was very nice as was the bar
Anthony from Warminster (10 December 2017)

Absolutely wonderful
Angela from Tredegar (08 December 2017)

This is a fantastic resort, the accommodation is great and the surroundings are so peaceful. My only issue is that the resort has no facilities for children.
Brian from Worcester (06 December 2017)

The best caravan site we have ever been to. nice and clean caravans. would definitely go back.
Jimkeisser from Harrow (04 December 2017)

We contacted hawkchurch a week before going to check there would be a toaster and dvd player, we were told there was a toaster and we could hire a dvd player when we got there. We paid the deposit for dvd player and was called approx 45 minutes later by reception saying there were no dvd players left. I was disappointed as they could have reserved us one when we called the week before and had it already installed for our arrival. On a positive note the lodge was very spacious and the hot tub was superb, will go back there.
Paul from Billericay (04 December 2017)

Lovely accommodation, have stayed twice..once with hot tub and no dog, once with dog and no hot tub. Really nice area for exploring. Haven't used any facilities on site so no comment on them!
Christina from Monmouth (04 December 2017)

Second visit after an amazing first visit last year.only disappointment was not only sauna out of use but steam room too. But enjoyed pool and out hot tub.friends and family loved it too.
Linda from Shropshire (04 December 2017)

The birthday request was not communicated at all well and felt we were stitched up. We were under the impression that we would get box of chics, flowers, balloons, banner and maybe a cheap bottle of fizz I within a budget of £20 as no one told us otherwise. (could have got from local shop easily) but no they put one bottle of red from their bar and 2 balloons for £20. this same bottle of wine is on offer in the restaurant for £10 on a friday night. (same night we arrived). if i’d known I would have done this all myself. . we weren’t informed of the entertainment until late so missed out on a band. . . no information at all about the restaurant, spa or facilities in the lodge. Had to ring or walk down to find out. . takeaway pizza only available seasonally which no one tells you until you call. not enough food so had to travel to axminster. we were under the impression there was a shop on site and this is not the case and is only a gift shop. . . £5 deposit for spa seems crazy when you come down with only your swim stuff and the entrance is right by the reception also the receptionist did not tell us that none of the spa facilities were not working and let us in. we get changed in a cramped changing room with no where to change if the 4 cubicles are full. we get in and it’s not warm and not really deep enough to swim and no spa facilities working so we were not in there long. we did complain. . . trying to get a dvd player was very difficult and was formed only 2 on site. . . as. New small site I would have thought it would have been perfect. communication very poor!
Anna from Yeovil (27 November 2017)

Great lodge with a hot tub, plenty of room and great memories, see you next year
Joanne from Berkeley (27 November 2017)

Just utterly amazing. Took two dogs who loved all the walks . the resort is perfect and the staff could not do enough for you. Definitely our best weekend away ever
Keeley from Taunton (27 November 2017)

The location was perfect. Exactly what I wanted. It would have been good to have maybe a local shop on site to buy things if needed. Other than that we loved our stay and would definitely come back.
Lewis from Gravesend / Kent (27 November 2017)

Had a great time at hawkchurch resort. I had been before and this time took the rest of my family who were super impressed overall. The one downside was the broken sauna and steam room, on both occasions I have stayed here they were out of order
Hollie from Wiltshire (27 November 2017)

A lovely place to stay
Julie from Wiltshire (24 November 2017)

This was our second visit to hawchurch. A little touch of luxury in beautiful surroundings. Very high spec and great value for money
Elaine (24 November 2017)

This was one of the best lodges that we have stayed in
Brian from Wareham (24 November 2017)

Fab 4 nights
Jennifer (24 November 2017)

Poor meal in the restaurant steak was almost all gristle
Frank (24 November 2017)

Lodge was amazing. Beautiful surroundings. Returning in january. Great for a relaxing break.
Vanessa from Weymouth (20 November 2017)

Brilliant location, lodge and facilities. Everywhere was spotless. Staff were very friendly. A most relaxing holiday. . we will return and have recommended hawkchurch. To other people.
David from Droitwich (18 November 2017)

I have been twice to this hawkchurch resort and absolutely love the place! great surroundings and standard of the lodges are excellent! the only thing I can note was disappointed the steamroom was not working when I visited!
Rebecca from Bedfordshire (18 November 2017)

Second time here. Love the area. Lodges are quite new so in good condition. Hot tub checked every day. Used the spa area. Only a few of us in which was a good job as it’s very small and the steam room was not working.
Beverley (17 November 2017)

This was our fifth visit and every time we think you've reached perfection, but every time you do the impossible and find some small way of making an improvement!
Barrie from Highworth Wilts (17 November 2017)

Excellent place to stay. very friendly helpful staff.
Linda from Leighton Buzzard (17 November 2017)

Brilliant place to stay, our 2nd visit. Lovely facilities and friendly staff. Beautiful surroundings and lodges.
Holly from Bridport (17 November 2017)

We both thoroughly enjoyed out stay and will definitely return again in the future. The lodge was presented to a high standard and had all the necessary in place to make it a truly home-from-home experience. The spa itself was a wonderful place to relax following a busy days adventure but was a little disappointed that the steam room was out of order, hence only giving 9 for facilities. Overall a great value for money holiday and would highly recommend the hawkchurch spa and resort for individuals looking for a memorable holiday experience.
Luke from Tenby, Pembroke (17 November 2017)

Very good but expensive
Shahriar from Biringham (17 November 2017)

Second visit. Very enjoyable only thing missing is a swimming pool
Robert from Basingstoke (13 November 2017)

Beautiful site and location. Our lodge was clean and well prepared and contained everything we needed and more. The wine fridge was a bonus. Our party of 8 was more than happy.
Michaela from Bristol (13 November 2017)

Returned again this year in november to have a fantastic time yet again. Had a hot tub this time which was very nice too. We have stopped in the marple and the hardy premier now and both lodges I have to say was very nice, and both great locations on the resort. . hawkchurch resort and spa is the ideal base for visiting all the near seaside towns and beaches in that area and it's well recommended. We will be returning again next year without a doubt.
Sally from Burton On Trent (10 November 2017)

Another relaxing 4 day break, would very highly recommend
Shaun from Poole (10 November 2017)

When we walked in to the main house everything was all warm and inviting and the staff were there immediately. It was great and very relaxing.
Emma from Truro (10 November 2017)

Food was horrible. cold ,very expensive , not good at all. Could do with a little shop for milk ,bread ex .
John from Glasgow (10 November 2017)

The lodge was beautiful and had a huge amount of space. The central heating worked very quickly, but it was freezing when we arrived. The hot tub was a brilliant addition, however, it made such a loud noise that kept us awake at night. We asked about this but were told it couldn't be turned off. The location was great, easy assess to lyme regis, axminster, beer and weymouth. We'd definitely visit again.
Chloe (10 November 2017)

Another great stay at hawchurch our 3rd visit this year . lodges superb and have everything you could ask for a great break . look forward for our return in 2018 .
Stephen from Weston Super Mare (10 November 2017)

Beautiful lodge, lovely pool and facilities, loved it here for a really relaxing holiday.
Caroline (06 November 2017)

Stayed in lodge 66. Long mirror was missing in double bedroom. The games which were there last time we visited were no longer there. Still good value for money and would stay again
Fran from Bristol (06 November 2017)

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights as a long weekend break. The hotel staff were very helpful when we phoned to tell them we wouldn't be arriving until gone 10pm on our first night. They told us our lodge number and took our car registration in order for us to access the park after 10pm. . the lodge was incredible. We stayed in the quinn premier lodge, perfect size for just the two of us for the 3 nights. . very modern and clean. We will definitely be returning in the future to stay. We also received treatments on the monday we were leaving and the staff at the spa were also amazing, made us feel very relaxed and took care of us very well.
Emily from Southampton (06 November 2017)

We’ve stayed here several times before, but thought the place had gone down hill a little. Accomodation had mould in the bathroom, cracks in the wall and not as clean as before. Also the spa pool floor was filthy, steam room & sauna out of order. Very poor, as that’s part of what we were paying for.
Julian from Bristol (06 November 2017)

Love this place and will be back again next year.
Alan from Great Waldingfield (06 November 2017)

Loved it!
Claire from Bridgend (06 November 2017)

Lovely lodge with all mod cons. Excellent gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room and restaurant all at your door step. Easy access to the jurassic coast for walking. Friendly staff. Only downside is it can be pricey but there are discounts to be had off peak.
Antony from Barnstaple (06 November 2017)

Lovely lodge, spacious, clean and well equipped. . . the steam room in the spa didn't work and we were expected to take our towels from the lodge to the spa with no means of drying them.
Elizabeth (04 November 2017)

A quality lodge
Geoffrey from Lancashire (04 November 2017)

We really enjoyed our out of season stay at this lodge. We loved the hot tub and the lodge was kitted out nicely. Although the main aim was to relax, we visited lyme regis and charmouth one day which were a short drive away. Beer is also lovely. There's not much to do at the resort, especially with a toddler, but that was fine with us as it was easy to get to neighbouring towns and beaches. We enjoyed our meal at the restaurant, the baby was made welcome and they made an effort for my husband's birthday. It's a very peaceful resort away from any main roads.
Lucy from Cardiff (03 November 2017)

Lovely lodge, home from home. Thoroughly enjoyed the 4 night break away. The price went down for the maple lodge only a few days after my booking, this was a shame. Thanks
Pamela from Plymouth (03 November 2017)

Great place to stay , very clean , lovely space, only one small comment would have liked a blind on the kitchen window , light was bright from the other lodge . this would not stop us returning to no 6. Hot tub fabulous .
Samantha (03 November 2017)

Immaculately laid out lodges in beautiful location. Great on site spa and bar restaurant. Super helpful staff.
Gary from Liverpool (03 November 2017)

Was perfect! everything was amazing, will be coming back in the future!
Elliot from Dorset (03 November 2017)

We didnt use the facilities due to having children with us. The lodge and hot tub was amazing, rooms and cleanliness were exeptional. Cant wait to return.
Susan from Walsall (30 October 2017)

Another lovely long weekend. !!
Patricia from Taunton (30 October 2017)

The pool was too cold for a spa so we didn't really go , the steam room was broken. Lodges beautiful and very comfortable , full equipped for self catering we had a hot tub which made up for the disappointing spa.
James from London (28 October 2017)

Lovely lodge. Very clean and tidy. Home from home. Everything you need.
Lisa from Sittingbourne, Kent (28 October 2017)

Lovely resort. We loved our lodge, it was immaculate and very modern.we could happily haved lived in it! the spa was great but it was a shame we couldn't take our son for a swim. Perhaps you could offer just one hour of kids swimming time per day? staff were very friendly and attentive.
Ian from Solihull (27 October 2017)

Great lodges!
Natalie from Ross-On-Wye (27 October 2017)

Lovely lodge in beautiful location. Pool, sauna and gym all enjoyed. Had a great time.
Andrew (27 October 2017)

Second visit in 4 months. Lodge is of high quality and kept well. Only complaint would be not all facilities working in spa area. Steam room not working, which was the same last visit
Nigel from Northampton (27 October 2017)

We had a lovely time at hawkchurch resort and spa. A very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.
Jayne from Hinckley (27 October 2017)

Truly an amazing place. Highly recommend this place from lodge, facilities and staff to the surrounding areas it a 5* all the way.
Julie from Merthyr Tydfil (27 October 2017)

Quiet resort out in the sticks.
Richard from Gloucester (27 October 2017)

Accommodation & location of our lodge was absolutely brilliant, well kitted out very clean & well presented, would recommend this kind of lodge for a relaxing break. Will definitely visit again. (providing the swimming pool is open)
Nigel from Bedfordshire (20 October 2017)

We had a lovely holiday, however the week we were there none of the spa or hydra pool was working.. we did get re-inbursed and compensated for this, however it did affect our holiday. I think hawkchurch is a great location, but having stayed at cheddar woods there is much more for the children to do. Ie. Swimming pool, pool table, golf game and bowling. . the lodges were lovely and spacious and we could not fault the staff at all they were really helpful.
Karen from Hinckley (20 October 2017)

I wish to thank hawkchurch for helping us to celebrate my fathers 83rd birthday in style. Hope to return next year when the hydrotherapy pool and spa is in operation.
Tina from Bournemouth (16 October 2017)

Blissfully quiet. perfect relaxing break. shame the pool was unavailable
Tracey from Plymouth (16 October 2017)

Our lodge was stunning & had everything you needed the showers were very temperamental! however the day before we arrived we had an email to say all the spa facilities were out of order which was very disappointing as we went for a girls weekend away and to have been told a day before we got there was awful we had booked the weekend souly for a relaxing break and to use the spa, I am pretty sure this was a scheduled maintenance and they would of know this at our time of booking we complained and got a 20% discount but to be honest it wasn't enough, luckily we booked the premier so we did luckily have the use of the hottub which we had geat fun using but with no other facilities to use this did get a little boring & as the resort is in the middle of no where there isn't a lot else to do, the restaurant was ok quite a limited menu.
Laura from Somerset (16 October 2017)

Fantasic lodge on a fantastic park-so peaceful!!
Deborah from Kirkby In Ashfield (14 October 2017)

Fabulous. clean, comfortable, lovely restaurant. What more could one want?
Glenn (13 October 2017)

Only told the morning of our stay that they pool facilities would be closed for the duration of our stay. On check out when we complained we were then told we could have used vouchers for the local pool. What was described as a doggy walk was about 100 yards of woodland and a gate that was coded and no one knew the code for.
Nikki (13 October 2017)

Enjoyed hawkchurch resort.unhappy that the spa pool was out of action for duration of stay!
Nigel (13 October 2017)

Myself and brother decided to treat my mum and dad to a long weekend away for their ruby wedding anniversary with other family members. . the lodge was lovely, but the location was picked purely for the spa facilities as my mum can’t walk very far. On the saturday when we tried to make use of such facilities, were advised that they were not in use and would not be available to the remainder of our stay, until the monday. We completed a complaints form as advised to do so, but have still not heard a thing back from hawkchurch. . appalling customer services.
Rebecca from On The Saturday When We Tried To Make Use Of Such (09 October 2017)

Good
Carl from Southampton (09 October 2017)

We were a group of ladies who booked 2 lodges at hawkchurch resort for a weekend. The 4 bedroom austen lodge has very small bedrooms and is not really suitable for 8 adults. The resort' s main facility is the spa pool which was out of action for most of the weekend, which was disappointing. The resort could have offered us a free drink from the bar or some sort of compensation for our disappointment, but there was just a notice posted on the door. The resort is a good base to visit the lovely coast nearby but does not have a lot of facilities on site, as the site is expanding perhaps they plan more facilities.
Judith from Witney (09 October 2017)

Beautiful resort and surroundings, and top spec lodge. But just such a shame that no spa facilities on offer. The whole point of us booking this resort was the pool, steam room and sauna. None of which were available .
Victoria from Gurnard Iow (09 October 2017)

Great site let down by swimming pool and spa not being available for the whole weekend we were there.
Lewis from Manchester (09 October 2017)

Wonderful and relaxing.
Laura from Lancing (09 October 2017)

Disappointed this time.when we arrived the cabin we booked in advance wasn't available due to work being carried out.cabin was a bit grubby with dried food on sofas.pool area not available to children, although when looked at facilities it stated that,i thought it a bit odd considering it is a holiday resort .perhaps it should be adults only because there is nothing for children.used the spa only to find most of it was out of order when leaving on departure day.there was a notice at reception spa area out of order until further notice
Elaine from Bridgend (09 October 2017)

It was so nice to have the whole family together in such lovely surroundings.
Angela from Ramsgate (08 October 2017)

Hawkchurch has excellent facilities.
Robert from Stoke-On-Trent (07 October 2017)

The holiday was a last minute get away. We were looking for a bit of luxury with great facilities, the ability to bring the dog and access to the great outdoors. It ticked all the boxes and will definitely look to book another autumn break next year.
Paul from Chelmsford (07 October 2017)

Absolutely fantastic, one of the best resorts we've stayed at in a very long time. The lodge we stayed at was perfect, couldn't fault nothing.
Melissa from Birmingham (06 October 2017)

We booked a 3 day break in october 2017. The lodge was very well equipped, comfortable and very modern. The site was maintained impeccably. staff were very polite and helpful. Food in the restaurant was fabulous and very good value for money. On a whole couldn't fault it.
Darryl from Worthing (06 October 2017)

We took our 2 elderly mothers for a 5 day break. It was perfect for all our needs. Accommodation was excellent, views lovely, facilities were perfect for our needs. we visited the spa while tge mums had a rest before going out in the evenings. Absolutely gorgeous place.
Jill from Bishops Stortford (06 October 2017)

One of the best sites we have stayed at, absolutely idyllic!. . will 100% return, cant fault it any way whatsoever.
Ian (02 October 2017)

Excellent 3 day break. Very peaceful, dog friendly very important for us!
Tracy from Torquay (02 October 2017)

Lovely site and accommodation. The spa was wonderful although there were a few things not working. The food in the restaurant was lovely too.
Sarah from Portland (02 October 2017)

Staff could not have been more helpful. Amazing spa facilities. Could have done with a shop on site.
Tracy from Worthing (30 September 2017)

Overall a nice relaxing break
Julie from Newport South Wales (30 September 2017)

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Ideally situated to explore both devon and dorset
Jacqueline (30 September 2017)

Enjoyed our holiday very much only downside required extra towels only 1 hand towel per double room and told there would be an additional charge
Peter from Doncaster (30 September 2017)

Very relaxing everything in the lodge was clean. The hottub was wonderful and very well looked after
Pam from Dover (30 September 2017)

On route to hawkchurch we received a phone call to notify us that the lodge would be ready early for us, which was nice to know and we did arrive early. The lodge was very clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The hot tub was lovely and we did notice that it was checked by staff every morning.
Ian from Desborough (29 September 2017)

Great relaxing week thanks
Jackie from Watford (29 September 2017)

As a regular traveller to hawkchurch, lodge standards continue to remain high and an off peak holiday is extremely good value. . the homes have always been fully kitted out and spotlessly clean. the grounds are tidy and setting is very pretty. . my only complaint is that the steam room in the spa was out of action for second time running on my returning trip. they have removed the drinks fountain in the spa area which means a walk into the gym in a wet cossie!. . I haven't eaten in the resort as there prices are too high for the area and prior party members on previous trips said their roast was nothing special and vegetables were too hard (for devon this just is not right as pub grub is smashing). . saying all this I am recommending a 4 day stay to one of my friends so the resort can't be bad at all?!
Sue from Croydon (29 September 2017)

The holiday accommodation was smashing. had everything you would need and lots of little extras which are really helpful. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. we enjoyed the spa, however the steam room wasn't working so that was disappointing but we still enjoyed the remaining activities.
Sue from Swansea (29 September 2017)

Stunning area beautiful views from lodge 43 had a lovely relaxing time hot tub was the best place to relax after a day of exploring the surrounding area
Thomas from Leicester (29 September 2017)

Loved it so much would love to come back the stay helped me with my depression after losing my leg. Need to save up lol best form of medicine ever hawkchurch x
Kerry from Gosport (29 September 2017)

Second time this year .quiet easy going , well looked after hot tub ,but nothing for kids.
Richard from Filton (29 September 2017)

Lovely lodge & park with great people & dedication from staff.
Barrie from Trowbridge, Wiltshire. (29 September 2017)

Excellent that covers all areas the pool was great and the lodge was fantastic nice to have a dish washer and pets allowed would go back
Diane from Bromsgrove (25 September 2017)

The best weekend at this resort. Lodge was stunning, spa was stunning and location was stunning! only regret is not booking for a week. Will most definitely be back again and very soon we hope!
Jemma from Southampton (25 September 2017)

Wonderful holiday and have already booked our next break with friends!
David (25 September 2017)

We were so disappointed having returned after a previous fantastic experience. The lodge was dirty, my daughter's knees and trousers were black from crawling on the floor, the floor was lifting, the window on the patio was dirty, dirty glasses and one had a chip, a lamp didn't work in the bedroom, marks all over the fridge, broken blind in the bedroom, water leaked out of the glass screen in the main bathroom. we had to wait until the following day for someone to clean the floor. We took our dog but I do not keep my home as described above so I don't expect to spend near £900 to go on holiday and find a filthy lodge and scrub my daughter's legs clean.
Beth (25 September 2017)

A really wonderful time had by the whole family. Lovely peaceful park with first class facilities. The restaurant food is excellent and the spa is a relaxing environment. Perhaps a small indoor games room with billiards and table tennis would be an additional bonus for those wet days.
David from Farnham (23 September 2017)

Apart from the long drive from the north east this was a great weeks break. The holiday lodge was modern and spacious and the spa/bar restaurant lovely. We enjoyed day trips to the jurassic coast beaches and were lucky with some sunny days. We will definitely be back. A beautiful coastline. . steve
Steve from Middlesbrough (23 September 2017)

No sky tv as advertised in the bar area. Food good. Pool too small.
Brian from Hampshire (23 September 2017)

We had a great weeks break based here. It was very peaceful and relaxing and a very comfortable modern lodge
Dennis from Newbury (23 September 2017)

A beautifully presented and equipped lodge.
Tim from London (22 September 2017)

Enjoying our stay here but only suitable for couples as no facilities for children and would not have been suitable if the grandchildren were with us. Lovely well kept and spacious lodge this was spotless on arrival.
Helen from Worthing (22 September 2017)

Good lodge and good views around
Ann from Romsley (22 September 2017)

1st time we have stayed at hawkchurch and we will be going back again. The lodges are so spacious, clean, and and an absolute delight to stay in. The restaurant offered a good choice, the food was excellent and the staff. Were very friendly and efficient. Although we did not use the spa facilities, the comments from other holidaymakers. Were very good. As this was the first time we had stayed in this area we were very pleased to discover. So many of devon's beautiful attractions/coastline which were a very short drive away. From the site.
William from Leicestershire (22 September 2017)

Great stay, lovely clean lodge, only issues were with the steam room and spa which was not fully functional a lot of the time.. otherwise a very nice place to stay...
Paul from Linton (22 September 2017)

Good place to stay relaxed atmosphere and tranquil surroundings
Eric from Hampshire (22 September 2017)

Very,very relaxing
Barrie from Paulton (22 September 2017)

Lovely location the chalet was tip top
Christine (22 September 2017)

A good place to relax and calm down from the pressures of life.
Paul from Poole (22 September 2017)

The lodges are 18 months old but look as if they were brand new. almost everything went beyond our expectations.
Mark from Canterbury (22 September 2017)

The lodge was definitely in the luxury category, all very modern and clean. Just a shame the bushes had grown too high to get a view. The grounds were beautifully kept. The bar and restaurant were really good, food exceeded our expectations. I'd recommend the bar make more of an effort for people who just want a drink (before/after a meal or just 'coz!)
Sarah from Leeds (22 September 2017)

Wonderful resort with adult facilities. Our coleridge lodge was first class and so comfortable. Loved having access to spa pool. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Staff were also excellent
Julie from Ilminster (22 September 2017)

Third enjoyable visit
Stanley (22 September 2017)

1st time here! loved it! will def be returning
Karalia (22 September 2017)

It was a great holiday. . . loved the location and the lodge was excellent!
Brenda from The Hague (18 September 2017)

Very good facility. The only issues were in key pick arrangements as they had to be picked up at the bar which shut at 10 pm. As some people were coming long distances this proved to be a it problematic. There should be an opportunity to buy basics on site ie milk bread eggs etc. One of my guests said one of the sofas was quite badly marked and the carpet floor covering was coming adrift, it would have been better to have a wooden floor with rugs. They liked the spa facilities
Paul from Lodon (18 September 2017)

Accommodation was wonderful, clean and modern.
Louise (16 September 2017)

Brilliant
Richard (16 September 2017)

All good, would like if there was a little bit of everyday food items for sale at the site.
Jacqueline from Bexhill On Sea (16 September 2017)

The lodge was lovely and the staff was always nice and helpful apart from asking for a swipe card for spa etc where we were told twice that they hadn't got any and to come back the next day, didn't bother after asking twice.the bar area is to small and not enough table and chairs to sit comfortably . the restaurant was lovely and the food was superb, waitresses gave very good service and very helpful.
Keith from Staffordshire (16 September 2017)

Lovely clean park, chalet was great and had everything we needed. The hydrotherapy spa pool really added to our time away. We had a great time thank you.
Customer 129 (16 September 2017)

We had a quiet and relaxing week. The site was clean and tidy. The lodge was clean and well equipped. Have recommended to 2 friends who have been and thoroughly enjoyed there stay.
David from Bexhill-On-Sea (16 September 2017)

Lovely resort can't fault it. Relaxing and enjoyable .
Samantha from Swansea (16 September 2017)

We booked this holiday for a relaxing time. When we visited the spa area the majority of the facilities eg steam room, lockers and some of the spas were not working throughout our stay. The lockers kept running out of batteries which meant that clothes, etc could not be retrieved. Apart from restaurant staff there was no one to report the issues to each time we went to the spa in the evenings after 5.00pm. . other than this issue we enjoyed the standard and cleanliness of the lodge and the location
Peter from South London (16 September 2017)

Lovely place to stay, nice and relaxing, only reason we have not given a complete 10/10 is because some of the areas of the hydrotherapy pool was not working during our 1 week stay, the steam room wasnt working either. . . other than that, it was a lovely break and we would definalty be booking again.
Shaun from Poole (16 September 2017)

Excellent facilities - the staff on reception and in the restaurant bar area were exceptional. our second stay this year and so nice to be recognised and welcomed back. See you again in 2018.
Lesley-Anne from Verwood (16 September 2017)

Wow, what a fantastic site. We went on the recommendation of a friend, and we were not disappointed. Fantastic accommodation, clean, well equipped and cosy.
Julie from Aylesbury (16 September 2017)

Lovely park very clean and well organised staff very helpful
Molly from Bristol (15 September 2017)

Lovely resort and excellent accommodation.
Claire (15 September 2017)

Our first visit to hawkchurch and we would definitely stay again. We being my best friend, my daughter and myself who is disabled the coleridge lodge we stayed in was first class accommodation, clean and well equipped. It was an ideal base to visit local gardens and seaside towns. The setting of the park and surrounding scenery was magical. We found the pub in hawkchurch village, the old inn a very pleasant and welcoming place for a meal or just a drink, though they stop taking orders at 8-30pm we got there at 8-40pm rather tired and very hungry and they accommodated us with good food and cheer. I am very happy to highly recommend this park to anyone.
Lin from Gosport (15 September 2017)

We loved it, the lodge was lovely, the views fantastic, and really nice facilities on site. Staff ready to help if needed.
Tania (15 September 2017)

Lovely resort and great accommodation and staff, slightly let down by disappointing meal in restaurant on last evening, maybe main chef was off ?
Hazel from Ashford (15 September 2017)

Well kept site and central buildings.
Steve from North Hampshire (15 September 2017)

Beautiful high quality lodge. Reception opening times not flexible enough - check in from 4pm but reception closes by 5pm. An hour's window when travelling in rush hour is not sufficient. Also, barrier to car park was broken during entire weekend but staff not interested in helping resulting in endless trips in and out of the main building then back to car to get access. The staff even accused me of not driving up close enough to the barrier once when there was a clear sign on the intercom stating the machine was updating and out of service! . hydro pool for adults only so no swimming for kids possible which is a shame. Nearest town a 10 min drive with pay and display parking everywhere.
Rhiannon (11 September 2017)

Excellent lodge, helpful staff. Few minor problems sorted quickly. Would definitely recommend.
Customer 143 from Poulton-Le-Fylde (09 September 2017)

Beautiful cabins in an amazing countywide.
Steve (09 September 2017)

Wonderful accommodation, very spacious & comfortable. Had a hot tub which was lovely. Very quiet location. If you want a relaxing break this is the place to go
Rosemary from Sandhurst (09 September 2017)

Initially happy with lodge and resort until we found white dog hair all over carpets and furniture which ended up all over our clothes also badly stained carpets . we paid extra for our dog who is well behaved and trained I expected the extra cost would be for deep cleaning inbetween customers in our case this had not happened. The bed was also very bad and we both had back aches after sleeping on it requires attention. Overall a nice place but no 12 requires maintenance . also complained regarding items but not yet resolved.
Christopher from Lewes (09 September 2017)

Perfect holiday resort. No complaints at all.
Colin from Nottingham (09 September 2017)

Beautiful lodge in super clean state . . grounds well kept. . food served in restaurant excellent. . spa facilities were not always working ( steam room/sauna etc). . local village has a good public house . . need to travel for shops/ attractions
Sue from Cheshire (09 September 2017)

Lovely lodge, probably the best we've ever stayed in but the park was too remote , nowhere to walk dogs and dogs were only allowed in the reception area of the bar/restaurant. The weather was bad so there was no opportunity to sit outside . this meant that we really had to travel to eat out every night which was a bit of a bind. If you were travelling as a family who didn't mind getting in the car every day, this site would be ideal
Helen from West Yorkshire (09 September 2017)

Had a lovely week with my husband. The lodge was beautiful with all the essentials, in a quiet location.
Laura from Bedford (09 September 2017)
