2nd time here. Great stay again nice and peaceful will be coming again.
Andrew from Leicester (08 September 2018)

Found a little gem fantastic place for adults, but not for children under 5 they can not use the pool area or hot tub. Would use this again hot tub fantastic used every day and the lad called twice a day to keep it topped up. . . just one small thing the cleaning inside was good but need to clean the windows to hot tub area.
Barry from Wrexham (08 September 2018)

Lovely place. Lovely surroundings.
Sylvia from Leicester (07 September 2018)

Our family holiday was fantastic. Upon arriving the member of staff was very enthusiastic and welcoming.
Luke from Havant (07 September 2018)

Overall very pleased with our stay although the accommodation was very dusty and windows needed a good clean!
Charlotte from South Gloucestershire (03 September 2018)

Beautiful lodge and spa facilities are excellent however if you want a treatment book well in advance. I tried but unfortunately had no luck at booking in, a tad bit disappointed. also make sure you take milk and bread with you as there is no shop on site and the nearest one in the village opens/closes at different times as it is run by the locals. They only give you a few little long life pots in your lodge. Food ok but expensive for what is essentially a pub menu.
Elizabeth (03 September 2018)

Bought with a substantial discount. Wouldn't pay their normal rate
Bob from Burton-On-Trent (03 September 2018)

Fantastic location. Very chilled. lodge was one of the best we’ve stopped in. Great with the hot tub too. Would definitely go back
Simon from Mansfield Woodhouse (31 August 2018)

Lovely lodges, everything you need
Leanda (31 August 2018)

I stayed here also in may and was surprised by the standard on cleanliness this time around . both unsuite shower rooms were cleaned very basically, things like the shower cubicle where mould was growing and cobwebs on ceiling . I know that cleaners work very hard and have a lot to do in the time given on change over days but the gradual decline in clean was starting to show . if things are not given more attention to detail then they take longer to put right in the end .
Amanda from New Milton (31 August 2018)

We loved it here definitely a relaxation holiday and right where we wanted to be which was roughly and hour from the big towns and attractions. . the spa facilities were great. . the restaurant was costly and food portions not overly big so we only ate there the once. We would definately go back
Heather from Kings Lynn (31 August 2018)

Great place - but a play area for children would be a good addition, as no where really for little ones to play and run around.
Neil from Northwood (31 August 2018)

Overall, this was a lovely holiday for us as a couple. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the site without the hustle and bustle of traditional caravan/holiday parks. We would recommend for couples and families with young children.
Marianne (31 August 2018)

Staff really friendly. Lovely lodge, although some corners missed in cleaning. Enjoyed stay.
Susan (27 August 2018)

We really enjoyed hour holiday at hawkchurch resort and spa and we are going book there again every soon
Amoy from London (27 August 2018)

Fabulous lodge and site, however, the ensuite shower wasnt working in the main bedroom think thermostat had gone as water was so hot it would burn you, I reported it to reception and they said they would get it fixed, however as far as I know no one came as it wasnt fixed so that was disappointing as if a child went it and turned the shower on they would be badly burned!
Lindsay from Northampton (27 August 2018)

Lodge and reception staff were very good, the spa area is very very small, and the bar and restaurant is a complete shambles from being repeatedly overcharged to being served cold, overpriced , mediocre food.
Lyn from Paignton (27 August 2018)

Have a lovely stay over the august bank holiday
Daniel from Exeter (27 August 2018)

I've stayed at darwin escapes properties a lot and this was my least favourite. the lodges are crammed in close together. our bin was broken on arrival, the dishwasher bracket was broken so our itchen flooded, luckily we were in at the time. hawkchurch knew it was my birthday and they didn't make any gestures to make up for the hour that I had to tolerate maintenance men coming in and out with shoes on in the pouring rain i'll add. really disappointing.
Susan (27 August 2018)

We love all darwin sites we have visited, but I do wish the sofas could be more comfortable, they are too deep and lumpy.
Patricia from Hook, Hampshire (24 August 2018)

Stayed in one of the hardy lodges in august. Very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catered getaway. . staff were nice and friendly, some nice little gestures when you first arrive. The only niggle we had, which if the resort could address would really put this place up there as a 5 star resort was the cleaning standard, which although the chalet was far from dirty, it was also a little off immaculate. With everything else being of such high standard and attention to detail, it deserves a better cleaning team representing the resort. . genuinely can’t wait to visit again, lovely resort.
Damien from Cornwall (24 August 2018)

Dirty lodge even though was the ‘best type’ four bed with hottub. Flooring dirty and bathrooms disgusting. Mild, mildew, thick dust. Complained to site staff, also emailed and although finished holiday over 2 weeks ago, I still have not heard back. Unsure how a 5 start resort can be so dirty and made worse by being ignored with terrible service..not to mention chewing gum stuck to the patio furniture
Aaron (24 August 2018)

What a fabulous place, everything was perfect from check in where we were looked after by the lovely janine and offered a glass of bubbly. our lodge was first class with everything we could need, the facilities were top notch and overall the park was tidy and quiet even although they were at capacity. Would totally recommend to everyone.
Gerry from Dunoon (24 August 2018)

The main issue with the resort is the restaurant; quality of food is very poor, if we come back and nothing changed with the restaurant we would not use it. the menu was good but food quality very poor for the price and service quite bland - there is no atmosphere at all in the restaurant!!. . although we really enjoyed the spa facilities we did find it a little frustrating that the sauna and steam room were often now working to full potential. . we reported the showers in the ensuites of our lodge, which were faulty, and they were looked at which repaired one of them, the other did not work for the whole visit, we reported this again another 2 times and no one came back to look at it - we were not impressed with this service at all.
Kelly (24 August 2018)

Unfortunately no leaflets or ideas given regarding walking in the area. Also slow service at bar, not enough indoor seating within bar area. Pizzas not available as the chef had left so kitchen unable to cope although only 4 people in restaurant. Outside heaters only 1 working. Would recommend if you want to get away from work, noise and want to totally relax and chill.
Jayne from Calne (24 August 2018)

I enjoyed the spa pool although over the week there were a couple of times when it was out of use. The steam room was being repaired one day and there was one other emergency with a broken window pane.
Margaret from Bucks (24 August 2018)

It was great love the lodge and retreat.
Anita from Manchester (24 August 2018)

Beautiful lodges in an amazing location. A real home from home feeling. Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect base for a short break.
Lisa from Kingswinford (20 August 2018)

Our stay was indeed great, lovely and clean apartment. Towels, washing machine and dishwasher as well which I didn't expect. We stayed in coleridge lodge without hot tub, the staffs were great, my ideal holiday is home from home and I couldn't ask for more.
Patience from Brighton (20 August 2018)

Nice relaxing accommodation
Chris from Manchester (20 August 2018)

The facilities on site - pool - was great for my eldest child (17), but my youngest (12) was unable to use them, as there was an age of 16 and above to use them. . there was poor internet connection - slow. . lodges were very clean, with plenty of space. amazed that we were able to park 2 cars right outside our accommodation.
Verna (20 August 2018)

Great location and lodge. Very peaceful and relaxing . . slightly let down by service in restaurant
Edward from Chippenham (20 August 2018)

Great break with my sister who has cancer, she fully relaxed and benefitted from the accommodation, very helpful staff and cheerful, well done . the crawford’s
Paul from Birmingham (20 August 2018)

Disappointed on first arrival to find that we'd been allocated just about the worst position of lodge on site - sideways facing between 3 tiers of onward facing lodges. Lovely big windows but because the lodges were located on a hillside we had 3 directly above us looking straight through into our lodge and it felt like there was no privacy. We had to keep the bedroom curtains closed most of the time. Also there was parking for other residents right outside our kitchen/living area. Big lengthwise veranda but again we didn't use it because no privacy. . . the beginning of our holiday was spoiled by a group of noisy young adults in adjacent lodge playing loud music outside till early hours. My husband went to complain, as did several other families. We were told this had never happened before, the manager was going to speak to them and if it happened again they'd be asked to leave. After similar disturbance the following night they went the next morning so thankfully this was dealt with and remainder of week was quiet. . . overall it is a very nice, well appointed park in peaceful countryside. I just think we were unlucky with location of our lodge. I did get it half price in sale - maybe this is the dud lodge they keep for sale purposes! the majority of other lodges on site were well positioned with more privacy and some had great views. I would holiday here again but only if I could chose the site of lodge beforehand.
Suzanne from Leicester (17 August 2018)

Had a fabulous holiday would definitely be returning
Nicola (17 August 2018)

We were pleased with our lodge. good to have three bedrooms with two ensuites and a bathroom. the lodge was well equipped and nicely furnished. the weather was against enjoying the outside patio plus the wasps. . we used the spa which was great although obviously having young children we had to go out a lot. . we visited the restaurant about four times as it was easy with young children. we were disappointed in the menu and standing of cooking unfortunatel;y. a lovely restaurant just needs a better chef and more staff. I am sure that could be achieved eventually. . . overall a good holiday.
Joyce from Cheltenham (17 August 2018)

It was very clean and tidy both in our lodge and around the park
Alaina from Hertfordshire (17 August 2018)

This is the 2nd consecutive year we have stayed at hawkchurch. We found it very pleasant, lovely surroundings and in the main a well equipped lodge. we would recommend to others. . however just a few points;. 1. The lodge was starting to look tired - stains on furniture, carpets. Mould in shower room. These are all easily changed with effort. 2. A lack of a video player. The ability to play videos, especially with kids on rainy days is important. 3. Disappointing that the leisure activity in the main centre is for over 16. We have a 14 year old who would have been supervised at all times. . we did enjoy the resort and spa and have recommended it to others in the past.
Bryan from Evesham (17 August 2018)

Lack of facilities for children being too restrictive with a 16+ age rule. Website stated that children were able to use the gym if accompanied by an adult. . . the nearest pub was closed at lunchtime. . . the internet was poor. It looked like we were to be charged £15 for the use, which is outrageous. . . eating at the restaurant was very disappointing. Food was uncooked and had to be returned. Bottle of wine was plonked on table without asking to taste. Food didn’t arrive st the same time. Very expensive. The waitress had the audacity to ask dare I ask? and blamed waitress that had not been trained.
Selena from Lichfield (17 August 2018)

Great facilities for my dad he was alone in his lodge as we had 2 lodges on site and we all required more space he was more than happy especially with his bath he said he could quite easily stay here forever at 82 you made a old man happy
Alan from Walsall (17 August 2018)

Lovely lodge and hot tub. Staff helpful and restaurant very good.
Elaine (17 August 2018)

Very pricey we had a last minute deal I would not have paid the full amount . the lodge was beautiful and we had gorgeous views over the axe valley
Tracey from Lichfield (17 August 2018)

The site is very well maintained. The lodges are well equipped and comfortable.
Eleanor from Northampton (17 August 2018)

Great location and spa was great
James (17 August 2018)

All very good except the wifi was unusable (download speed awful). this was a shame as it meant we couldn’t look at trips and activities, as the 3g signal also poor.
Helen (17 August 2018)

Nice relaxing long weekend break away
Timothy from Milton Keynes (13 August 2018)

Lovely spa and restaurant. Great staff. Excellent treatments.
Teresa from Southampton (13 August 2018)

We stayed in quinn lodge and it was absolutley lovely! the pool, sauna and steam room is relaxing after a day out, beautiful lodge with brilliant facilities; would definitely stay again!
Erin from Milford Haven (13 August 2018)

Excellent lodge plenty of space for six and better still it was pet friendly.lovelly quiet pet friendly break,we will certainly be back soon.
Christine from Bristol (13 August 2018)

Have stayed at hawkchurch 3 times now, and always have an enjoyable stay. Have stayed in both quinn premier and hardy premier which both come with a hot tub. Both lodges have everything you need, sample sized toiletries, coffee/tea/hot chocolate and also included is a kitchen pack which consists of a dish cloth and sponge, w/u liquid, a couple of dishwasher tablets and also washing maichine tablets. If you’re looking for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life then hawkchurch is ideal. Will no doubt be visiting again in the future.
Kate from Oxfordshire (13 August 2018)

Lovely setting but afew lodges in very shady position. No sun all day. I don't go on holiday to sit in the shade for 2 weeks and have a view of a pylon !!!
Fiona from Portsmouth (10 August 2018)

A beautiful lodge (quinn) and lovely quiet area. . the only slight downside is no shop onsite, although one 2 min drive away. Restaurant was lovely although service was quite slow considering it was always half empty. I would recommend this place to family and friends as overall holiday was great!
Robert (10 August 2018)

A great place for a fun and relaxing time. Would definitely recommend and maybe even go back!. a holiday to remember!
Harry from Kent (10 August 2018)

Good site.a pity that they don’t have newspapers otherwise we may have stayed on site longer during the day.
Ann (10 August 2018)

Beautiful place to chill & relax. Staff were excellent. Only downside would be no grocery shop on site. Would definitely recommend.
Elizabeth from Bristol (10 August 2018)

We had a great break and the location is perfect for charmouth and lyme regis
Samantha from Guildford (10 August 2018)

Fantastic place to stay, the accommodation was amazing and had everything you could possibly need. It was set in a beautiful and quiet location but had plenty to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommend.
Kelly from Stourbridge (10 August 2018)

Thoroughly enjoyable week. Lodge was perfect, the little touches were marvellous, board games, tea and coffee on arrival etc. Staff were friendly and helpful, didn’t use the spa or restaurant so cannot comment but they looked fabulous. Site was clean and tidy and the layout was thoughtful, not too overlooked. Will definitely return.
William from Weston Super Mare (10 August 2018)

A beautiful resort for adults, but not families as on site there was nothing for children to do. The lodge however had everything you could wish for which made our stay so relaxing.
Catherine from Derby (06 August 2018)

Fabulous accommodation and well kept site.
Lorraine (06 August 2018)

Very relaxing just what we were looking for
Lisa from Birmingham (06 August 2018)

Had a lovely last minute fri-monday with family, included 2 young grandchildren. Admittedly there wasn't much for the children to do on site but the location for beaches was perfect.
Tracy from Somerset (06 August 2018)

Had a wonderful holiday
Darran from Birmingham (06 August 2018)

What an amazing week we had! the lodge was perfect, clean, spacious and welcoming. The surroundings were lovely and the resort is close to some of my favourite places. Will be back!
Claire from Solihull (06 August 2018)

The accommodation was very nice, spacious and modern. . my only criticism is that it could have been cleaner the bedding was clean and fresh but there were certain areas of the lodge that were overlooked. We dropped something under the sofa and discovered there were bits of food and dirt. Hair all over the non slip bath mats. ( we didn’t use these for this reason). the edges of the bathrooms were not clean either. . I do understand that the week we came it was rather hot and the cleaners have lots to do in the lodges but we were a little disappointed it wasn’t up to standard.
Rachael (03 August 2018)

Location of the lodge was awful. Right in the edge of laundry area. No pan in the kitchen in arrival. No proper reception number. All goes through a common number with selecting options. Very poor wifi connection. Overall didn't like it.
John (03 August 2018)

We had some issues with the heating but apart from that all good
Claire from Basingstoke (03 August 2018)

Fantastic lodge and park, can’t fault anything.
Jo (03 August 2018)

Great location to explore the local beaches. The lodge was absolutely suberb, it was clean and tidy when we booked in and contained everything you could ever want to either cook a full meal or a casual snack. The beds were very comfy and the feeling of spaciousness was great. The curry night in the restaurant was very tasty and the price was reasonable.would be more than happy to stay here again.
Eric from Redditch (03 August 2018)

Very good
Emma from Norwich (03 August 2018)

Stayed in owners lodge no 93, quite cramped, more like a caravan than a lodge. On going to bed the first night, I pulled back the duvet only to discover it was covered in blood, along with the sheet and mattress protector. Luckily I bring my own sheets just in case, so could strip the bed and as it was hot I didn’t need the duvet. I reported it to reception the next day and they said some one would come and sort it. Three days later, after a phone call, I received a new mattress protector and clean sheet, no replacement duvet or cover. When I left two weeks later they still hadn’t been replaced. So therefore I will not be returning to hawkchurch again.
Jan from Croydon (03 August 2018)

Spent a lovely 4days beginning of august, resort is nice and quite.there is a tesco a couple of miles away for food and petrol.it is in a perfect location for visiting devo n ,dorset and somerset.within easy reach was minehead.bournemouth ,paington, westonsupermere.locally there was lymmregis and weymouth plus lots of smaller beaches .loved it but you do need a car.
Carla from Wigan (03 August 2018)

Overall really good however standards of cleaning in lodge a let down. Very stained furniture in lounge and carpet . shower tray very dirty attention to detail needed
Jane (03 August 2018)

Lovely peaceful resort. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant is good quality. The pool in the spa is small so limited to the number of people that can comfortably use it.
Susan from Durham (03 August 2018)

2nd time visiting hawkchurch resort & spa, the lodges, facilities & location are excellent. I was however unable to eat at the on-site restaurant as there were no gluten free options for coeliacs which was a shame. There is however a nice italian restaurant nearby in axminster which can offer all pasta & pizza dishes as gluten free.
Sarah from Bradford (03 August 2018)

Overall it was great. The accommodation was fantastic. The only downside is there is nothing to do for kids. Luckily the weather was good so we could go to the beach
Peter from Halesowen (03 August 2018)

Lovely calm place and although children not able to go in the spa (we knew this when booking), they were very welcoming to children. Great place. Would love to go back
Nicola from Northampton (03 August 2018)

Absolutely loved it. The accommodation was spot on and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Will definitely return.
Julie from Surrey (30 July 2018)

A second visit to this lovely resort . spotlessly clean lodge and perfect location for exploring .
Ruth from Wolverhampton (30 July 2018)

Been here many times now & it’s a nice place to getaway from it all & relax. The lodge was in good condition & clean. Use the hydro pool & steam room for the 1st time thought that was very good. Will be returning for xmas.
Andrew from Bridgwater (30 July 2018)

We had a very nice stay. The lodge we had rented was tidy and complete. The bedrooms and the three (!) bathrooms were very convenient. The only thing we are criticial about is the wifi internet connection. We are a family of 5 and of course ipads and mobile phones come along on vacation. The internet bandwith and speed are really much too small, especially when the regular mobile internet services in the surroundings are practically absent. We measured the maximum wifi internet speed at 0,8 mbps. In all, however, hawkchurch resort is a great place to spend a holiday break.
Arend from Almelo, Netherlands (30 July 2018)

Lovely resort. The lodge was immaculate and very spacious. In a fantastic area close to many beaches and attractions. We took our children and although the site didn’t have many child friendly amenities, there is so much to do in the surrounding region that we were all very happy and entertained! we would definitely go again.
Dawson from Lichfield (27 July 2018)

The grounds, cabin and facilities were clean and very well maintained. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to take our dog and he loved it, my only issue was I could not find any bins to dispose of his business- had to put it in general waste.
Pamela from Pembrokeshire (27 July 2018)

It's a very relaxing place, good position.couple of issues on checking our lodge, well dealt with by on site staff.will definitely return.
Barrie from Paulton (27 July 2018)

We were walking the south west coast path. This being our last accommodation before going home so we wanted something special. Our lodge was lovely in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we thought we were leaving on friday morning but discovered we had to leave thursday morning when the cleaners came to collect linen. Therefore we never used the facilities on site an it proved not to be good value for money.
Susan from Bedfordshire (27 July 2018)

Super park with good facilities and beautiful surroudings very very nice chalet and lovely staf f. We love it there !!!!
Janneke from Barneveld (27 July 2018)

We enjoyed our stay, but the resort could benefit from maybe having a children's play area.
Ian from London (27 July 2018)

Really loved the lodge, it wasn’t fantastic. The pool area was lovely too. The pizza idea was great and fantastic value for money but we found the general menu was very expensive for the quality of the food which was quite poor. The pizzas were fantastic though and we loved the outdoor seating area.
Joanne (27 July 2018)

So incredibly disappointed that my 14 year old could not use the gym or spa. This want highlighted on the website
Joanne (23 July 2018)

Lovely lodge, clean and the rooms were nice and big.
Gloria from Pontypridd (23 July 2018)

Great location making it easy to switch off and relax. . asked if the knives could be sharpened in the kitchen on the second day, but nothing was forthcoming, even asking for a steel to sharpen them myself.
Kevin from Bath (23 July 2018)

Thoroughly enjoyed our break, excellent accommodation good facilities and plenty of lovely places to visit on the doorstep.
Ian from Aberystwyth (23 July 2018)

I went with my wife for 12 anniversary it was a lovely place to visit
Michael (23 July 2018)

Hawkchurch is a fabulous resort in a great relaxing setting with high quality accomodation lodges.
Gail (23 July 2018)

The only reason we give a 9/10 overall is because we didnt get the chance to sample the spa side of the resort because we were there with our young family and kids under 16 aren’t allowed in. Otherwise this resort was excellent. Very comfortable and clean. Wifi was a bit dodgy at times, but we coped ok.
Jennifer from Linlithgow (23 July 2018)

Booked a marple lodge for 4 people last minute (key to getting great value with darwin escapes) - couldn’t ask for a better holiday, loved our 7 day summer break, and the lodge park is beautiful with great spa / gym facilities as well. Located perfectly for jurassic coast attractions and views :) we will be back!
Mark (23 July 2018)

Overall a lovely site staff excellent only a little moan the site could do with a swimming pool also the lodges could have the booklets for the appliencies ie how the cooker works and microwave the restaurant was excellent beautiful food didn’t have time to use the pizza area but it looked great overall rating 10/10
Neil from Caterham (23 July 2018)

Excellent holiday again (our second at hawkchurch this year!) a little overlooked this time by a nearby lodge but would be easily remedied with a blind at the kitchen window but lovely as ever. Would highly recommend
Julie from Gloucester (23 July 2018)

Had a lovely peaceful time , lodge bueatiful and clean
Jacqueline from Sittingbourne (20 July 2018)

Really enjoyed our holiday to hawkchurch. Our first holiday with our newborn baby and dog and everything was perfect. . the spa facilities included were lovely, shame the pool isn't a bit bigger as it can be difficult to swim lengths when people are just stood in the pool, but I guess it is a hydro pool rather than a standard swimming pool so that's fair enough. We both felt totally relaxed during out stay and wished we could have stayed a bit longer. . thanks again.
Jenny from Bristol (20 July 2018)

Love hawkchurch this is our 3rd visit.
Molly from Bristol (20 July 2018)

The perfect location for a relaxing holiday, excellent facilities, good restaurant ,spa and hydro pool.the staff were all very good.
Helen from Bridgend Glamorgan (20 July 2018)

Brilliant site very peaceful and our lodge was amazing. All the staff were helpful and friendly
Claire (20 July 2018)

First time at hawkchurch what a wonderful place
John from Scunthorpe (20 July 2018)

Wonderful holiday - lodges beautiful
Janet from Weston Super Mare (20 July 2018)

Fantastic site, lodge was very high standard and very clean. Could do with a small shop on site selling essentials bread milk etc.
Alan from Newport (20 July 2018)

Based in a lovely location, no noise from nearby roads and the lodges had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool and the sauna too. Short drive to lyme regis and charmouth so plenty of things to do no matter the age range in your party. We plan on coming back soon as enjoyed our stay so much.
Grace from Portsmouth (20 July 2018)

Beautiful lodge and facilties, was a wonderful stay.
Susan (20 July 2018)

Very nice accommodation on a lovely site.
Deborah from Petersfield (16 July 2018)

Our fourth visit as it is such a lovely area and lodge
Carole (16 July 2018)

Another excellent darwin escape resort. Fantastic facilities and staff. High quality lodges. Ideal location for visiting both dorset and devon.
Dawn from Lancashire (16 July 2018)

Was a gorgeous location just a shame there wasn’t a child friendly pool
Hayley (16 July 2018)

Beautiful site and amazing staff. Everyone we came into contact with were extremely helpful and pleasant. The spa treatments were the best I have had.
Helen from Eastleigh (16 July 2018)

Lovely location! could have moved into the lodge. It was perfect!
Dannielle (15 July 2018)

Most enjoyable, but three areas let the park down:. 1. There are too many dogs, and there is therefore constant sound of one or more dogs barking. 2. The bar had a world cup promotion of 'free beer' when england scored in the semi-final. this offer was not honored when requested. 3. A request was made on the first full day of the visit for a tv handset as one was missing. Despite this, one was not supplied or any further comment made.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Suffolk (14 July 2018)

Had a fantastic week in a lovely lodge. would highly recommend this resort.
Lynne from Edinburgh (14 July 2018)

We had a really lovely stay. Beautiful place and very quiet. Everything was very clean and tidy. It was very warm when we stayed - could probably have done with a fan in the caravan.
Jessica from Stafford (14 July 2018)

Lodge was really nice and the view was great. The resort is a little isolated and there aren’t any supermarkets nearby for those essentials.
Janice from Croydon (14 July 2018)

Really enjoyed our week, maybe a little bit expensive
Gary from Reading (14 July 2018)

Fabulous place, settings are lovely, the lodge we had was superb. I can only find one fault with this resort, and that is, if you allowed to take your pet on holiday I think the pet owners should have their own area well away from non pet holiday makers, barking dogs was the only problem we had and it spoilt our otherwise wonderful holiday.
Val from Co. Durham (14 July 2018)

Excellent location. Beaches within 10 to 15 min by car.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from London (14 July 2018)

Excellent lodge
Wayne (14 July 2018)

A warm and friendly welcome from the staff. Brilliant location and facilities. Our lodge was excellent; clean, large and well equipped. I would highly recommend this setting.
Julie from Gloucester (13 July 2018)

Perfect getaway destination! highly recommended!
Ben (13 July 2018)

Lovely location close to many attractions. Felt the lodges could have been spaced better, as you often felt you were being overlooked. All staff very friendly & helpful. It would have been handy to have at least a cloth for dishes & wiping down surfaces
Pat from Somerset (13 July 2018)

Second year in a row at the resort. The spa is well worth a visit for a treatment
Deborah from Essex (13 July 2018)

Resort and accommodation beautiful although I feel the restaurant let them down unfortunately 1 bad experience to the restaurant made us not want to return
Pauline (13 July 2018)

Relaxing and enjoyable 4 days away.
Gaynor from South Wales (13 July 2018)

Fabulous accommodation, very clean, staff very helpful when required a further travel cot late one night. Food excellent although service a bit slow. . only downside to the holiday complex was that our 18 month old grandchild was not able to go and use the swimming pool in the spa, felt very let down by this, even if only aloud access between restricted times would be better than nothing. For that reason we did not access the spa. Overall fabulous holiday
Martyn from Stourbridge (13 July 2018)

A fantastic holiday home in a beautiful setting. staff very helpful
Sarah from Upminster (13 July 2018)

Great stay, friendly staff. Well equipped lodges.
Julie from Hampshire (09 July 2018)

The lodge was beautiful, there's everything you need from complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate to washing up liquid/sponge, dishwasher and washing pods. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable, cant fault the lodge. . the spa was relaxing, adequate gym. . the food in the restaurant was ok'ish, not worth the ££.
Asmita from Hampshire (09 July 2018)

More often than not, we tend to go oversees, however this short break of 3 nights is tempting us to return next summer for longer. Lovely peaceful resort.
Tim from Stafford (09 July 2018)

Excellent location and resort, wish we had been able to stay longer
Nigel from Burntwood (09 July 2018)

Great.:)
Ashish (09 July 2018)

A great place with lovely lodges would highly recommend and good value for money
Dominic from Leamington Spa (09 July 2018)

We stayed in hawkchurch spa resort for a week with my husband, 1year old and in laws and it was perfect for all of us. The staff were so accommodating and especially as it was my husbands bday while we were away they decorated a table in the restaurant for him which was really nice. . spa and gym facilities are ideal and the in laws certainly enjoyed it and my husband enjoyed a massage too. . great place to go with little ones and as long as your happy to drive an hour at the most away then there is so much around you, lots of beautiful beaches, we were very lucky with the weather too. We hope to be going back very soon.
Emma from Farnham (09 July 2018)

It was excellent, definitely recommend hawkchurch - we had a brilliant weekend.
April (09 July 2018)

It is a very relaxing, friendly resort. Will recommend to other people.
Denise from Sittingbourne Kent. (07 July 2018)

Second visit everything was just as perfect .
Sarah-Jane from West Yorkshire (07 July 2018)

Hawkchurch is a lovely location and the spa facilities are small but excellent. We stayed in a 2 bed lodge with jacuzzi and the lodge was really well equipped and a great size as well as being very clean. The lodges are offset so you don't really overlook people which makes it feel quite private. The location of the resort is close to lyme regis and most days we didn't have to drive more than 15 minutes to get to a beach or other venue such as forde abbey or bowmoor gardens.
Mark from Macclesfield (07 July 2018)

Excellent resort with courteous and helpful staff
Peter from Lancashire (07 July 2018)

Booked as a last minute break friendly staff. In a quiet location so peaceful. Will definitely be returning
Julie from Burton On Trent (07 July 2018)

A very nice resort in a very pretty area. just a short ride to lyme regis, charmouth and axminster (look on a map and do not use sat nav for these places as you will go down some very narrow lanes). the bar and restaurant are very nice and there is a lovely outside seating area with a wood burning pizza oven with a fair choice which they cook and bring to you. The staff were all very nice but if you wanted to be left alone, then no-one bothered you.
Lloyd from Birmingham (07 July 2018)

Lovely lodge in a beautiful setting. The complex was very clean and tidy and the staff very helpful and friendly.
Linda from Bideford (06 July 2018)

Great site, friendly staff, clean spotless lodge. Really chilled atmosphere defo going again.
Craig from Meir (06 July 2018)

Fantastic break and lovely surprise for mums birthday
Michael (06 July 2018)

Couldn't fault lodge, absolutely fantastic and spotless. Meal in restaurant was adequate but served obviously 'off' drink, refunded but should have been picked up. Took 24 hours and several phone calls to get someone to reset the tv in lodge, wouldn't have mattered normally but we specifically wanted to watch on the evening. Appreciate grounds have to be maintained but from 9 a.m to 6.00 p.m. With the loudest lawnmower I have ever heard was a bit much, especially in 30 degrees, when you want the windows open and want to sit outside! lovely lodge, nice location but needs more thought putting in to customers overall experience.
Customer 148 (06 July 2018)

This break was just what my friends and I wished for. Great accommodation spacious 2 bedroom lodge. well maintained and clean. the spa, bar facilities, and restaurant were also excellent and we the staff very helpful. . all of this in a superb location with great sunsets. we thought we were abroad!
Sue from Wimborne (06 July 2018)

3rd time of staying at this resort and I can't fault it .lodge was spotless as was the whole site .food and drink are not overly expensive . close to a number of seaside resorts ,even sidmouth a cracking little town is not to far away. Not a lot for children to do I would say its more of an adult site. Would I go again "yes I would " with no hesitation
Derek from Newcastle Under Lyme (06 July 2018)
