Robert from Norwich (07 October 2016)

Lovely holiday! fantastic accommodation on a quite/well laid out park. Spa was especially nice (ellie was the best!) the restaurant was set in a peaceful environment and the food was yummy! we will defiantly be back!
Katie from Newbury (07 October 2016)

It was fabulous, accommodation amazing set in peaceful surroundings couldn't recommend it more!
Patricia from Southampton (07 October 2016)

Fantastic stay in a stunning location with the most luxurious facilities- can't wait to return next year!
Jenny (03 October 2016)

One of the best darwin sites i've stayed at. The spa facilities were wonderful ! the lodge itself was beautiful and clean with a stunning view. Will be visiting again
Emma (03 October 2016)

The staff were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. spent a lovely day in the spa with lunch. the lodge was spotless and very comfy. only comment being there is no dvd player in the lodge, we had to pay to download a film.
Alison from Bristol (03 October 2016)

We had an amazing stay the lodge was spotlessly clean & hot tub was great fun! will stay again
Rachel from Surrey (30 September 2016)

Second visit this year. lovely place to stay. enjoyed the spa pool and used the restaurant on two evenings which was very nice.
Denise from Brentwood (30 September 2016)

High standards all round, so clean and well maintained. Amazing spa and therapist. Stayed in pet lodge and spotlessly clean and well equipped. Wonderful little gem for a chilled holiday.
Michelle from Weymouth (30 September 2016)

One of the best lodges we have ever stayed in , the site , and in particular the staff were excellent , nothing was too much trouble
Brian from St Leonards On Sea (30 September 2016)

Lodge was lovely, site was very quiet, worryingly so, it had the atmosphere of somewhere struggling to attract guests. The bar was virtually empty on the night we went in. Its a shame because the setting is lovely. My only niggle was the location of the cottage, it was right next door to some staff accommodation and although there was no noise or anything, there was permanently people in there and it felt like there was no privacy. The cabins are also very close together.
Davina (30 September 2016)

An excellent holiday experience. The park has great views and facilities. The lodge was extremely omfortable and well equipped and the restaurant provides good food in high quality surroundings.
Allun from Littlehampton (30 September 2016)

Cannot fault accommodation, cleanliness, restaurant etc.
Steve from Milton Keynes (30 September 2016)

Beautiful surroundings and the staff were very welcoming.
Maya from London (26 September 2016)

The resort is very well run, is kept very tidy and very welcoming
Dawn from Bracknell (26 September 2016)

Fantastic, luxurious accommodation on a well matained park. Worth upgrading to a lodge with a hot tub. Accommodation has everything you would need for a short break, everything being of high quality. Perfectly placed for the jurassic coast. Bar and restaurant are nice with lovely outdoor facilities. A couple of suggestions; hydrotherapy pool in our opinion was too cold and we thought 4:00pm check in was a bit late.
Adam from Stoke (26 September 2016)

Amazing resort really relaxing for me and my friend for a weekend away . beautiful lodge staff fantastic , only negative was pool was meant to be warm as hydrotherapy but on all 3 occasions we tried it it was very cold and steam room broken
Joanne from Stroud (26 September 2016)

Original holiday plans had to be changed at the last minute. A friend had recently stayed at hawkchurch resort and spa, and highly recommended it to us. We were not disappointed. The lodge we stayed in was amazing. Very well appointed with attention to detail ensuring everything was provided to make our stay relaxing and very comfortable. I was sad to have to return home....
Sharon from Redditch (24 September 2016)

The standard of the resort and the accommodation is extremely high, staff are really helpful and friendly. It's the perfect place for a "getting away from it all" holiday. It was disappointing to be notified only a week before our visit that the pool and sauna would be closed for the duration of our visit.
Rachel (23 September 2016)

What is there not to like about this resort & spa, we enjoyed every minute.
Christine from Llandrindod Wells (23 September 2016)

Excellent quality lodge, spotlessly clean. Loved the hot tub. Helpful staff and good service at the restaurant. overall lovely stay.
Kim from Norwich (23 September 2016)

Beautiful cabins perfectly fitted out with all you could need
Andrew from Feltham (19 September 2016)

We enjoyed our 3 night break at hawkchurch we have booked a week next year. Lovely lodge, surroundings and very friendly staff.
Barbara from Portsmouth (19 September 2016)

Fantastic accommodation, situated in a lovely resort, quiet peaceful and relaxing
Caroline from Solihull Ll (18 September 2016)

Great holiday, good location. Try to avoid b roads
Alan (17 September 2016)

A lovely week in september spent at hawkchurch. I would recommend the park and the hardy lodge was of a high standard as usual, lovely and clean and well equipped.
Amanda from Birmingham (17 September 2016)

Lovely quiet setting, very clean, lodge extremely spacious and has everything you need and more. sauna and spa ideal. we didnt use the restaurant unfortunately. ideal location to visit devon and dorset. if you want a break away from it all, with peace and quiet but still not far from the coast and places to visit - I would definitely recommend.
Paul (16 September 2016)

Really pleased with everything. the lodge was one of the best we have ever stayed in. the park was quiet and everywhere was clean and tidy. the food at the restaurant was good value and spot on for presentation and flavour. the service was brilliant. all the staff we encountered were smart, helpful and polite - a real pleasure in today's world. we would certainly stay again, especially if we got another decent discount as we did for this break.
Derek from Downton, Wiltshire (16 September 2016)

Such a lovely resort, everything had that extra special touch. The only down side was the steam room was out of action in the spa, everything else was excellent, including the restaurant. We will be visiting again next year, thank you.
Denise from Banbury (16 September 2016)

After travelling over 350 miles it would have been nice to check in a little earlier maybe 3pm instead of 4. Checkout would have been better an hour later too as we felt rushed on the last morning using the hydrotherapy pool/facilities and to get checked out by 10. The pool and gym close to early and could do with staying open an extra couple of hours when you're out sightseeing the last thing you want to do is rush back to the resort to fit in an hour in the pool etc before it closes at 6pm. Overall a great resort, really modern and hope to return next year. The one bedroom lodge we stayed in was very roomy and well equipped.
Colin from Ellington (16 September 2016)

Rural , but easy to get to. Quiet.
Lynn (16 September 2016)

Absolutely amazing!!!
Patryk (16 September 2016)

A wonderful week away
Clare from Luton (16 September 2016)

3rd time weve stayed and its been exceptional each time..everything is perfect here, every last detail. Cannot recommend these lodges highly enough x
Jane from Warwick (16 September 2016)

A really relaxing break, fantastic lodge, so well kitted out and spotlessly clean on arrival everything gleamed. Had their takeaway pizzas which were scrumptious and visited the restaurant which was truely great experience, friendly service with great food. There is a gym and spa on site, unfortunately never made either, but there is always next time.
Paul from Shepton Mallet (16 September 2016)

Beautiful accommodations and helpful staff
Silvana from Eastbourne (16 September 2016)

If you want peace and tranquillity then this is the place for you. We only used the site as a base but what we saw was very nice. The staff on reception were very accommodating and helpful. The accommodation was very impressive and certainly value for money. Really liked the shower with the the high pressure spray and forest shower head. Certainly high end lodge accommodation.
Mark from Sheffield (12 September 2016)

Excellent in every way. We will be back
Rachael from Telford (12 September 2016)

Excellent stay
Julia from Littlehampton (12 September 2016)

Nice resort reception, spa and restaurant but not much else on site or close by without driving. We had a pleasant weekend but won't return as we've have stayed in other lodges with bigger bedrooms and bathrooms, in nicer locations, for same price.
Pauline from Burgess Hill (12 September 2016)

Love to go back ,just relaxing away from every year thing quite and great loges
David from Surrey (10 September 2016)

Disappointed that the steam room did not work at all during our 1 week stay and the sauna was also out of action at times. When reported there seemed no urgency or concern shown about getting things repaired. Accommodation was also poor this time, taps not working correctly and one shower unusable. There was also a large ,very unsightly, stain on the living area floor. From our original stay in may 2016 to the latest september one the standards have dropped dramatically. Reception staff seemed uncaring when problems highlighted particularly a male member who was offhand when we needed to ask to be let into the pool area. He advised (on day 6)we could have got a pass when booking in but as it was him who booked us in and failed to mention it I found this most annoying. Rating down from 10 last time to only 4 this time, very poor.
Kevin from Preston (10 September 2016)

Wonderful holiday. spacious lodges set out well. staff very friendly and helpful.
Eric (10 September 2016)

Beautiful location and very well equipped comfortable lodge.
Ken from Walsall (10 September 2016)

We love it here! it's our 2nd visit and it ticks all the boxes for us, as a couple with a dog. It's not really geared up for young children, and the restaurant could be considered pricey. But for us, the whole experience at hawkchurch is wonderful. A real treat.
Joanne from Essex (10 September 2016)

Very pleasant location, peaceful and accommodation was fabulous. Will return again as we were so impressed with the lodge and location.
Bertie from Ash Vale Hampshire (09 September 2016)

Fantastic lodge with hot-tub, great peaceful site, will be returning as long as the prices don't go up.
Paul from Henley In Arden (09 September 2016)

The lodge was lovely, just like the brochure. beds very comfortable and everything was extremely clean and well equipped. . as a dog friendly site I wish there had been a secure area to let my dog have a run off lead. . lovely quiet area but nothing accessible on foot ie local pub but lovely walks just a short drive away
Lynda from Sandwich (09 September 2016)

Accommodation excellent. Cannot comment on the facilities since we only used the accommodation as a base for visiting the area.
Heather from Irthlingborough (09 September 2016)

We had a lovely stay at hawkchurch, very peaceful and idyllic location to explore. . . I would reccomend you update your information in your packs in the lodges, the tins given to guests on arrival and signs on the walls in the reception area. The info does not match up at all on each of them. For example we missed out on enjoying the pool late in the evening as the pack in the lodge told us it closed at 6. On departure we read in the reception on the wall it closed at 9pm. Obviously we were very unhappy about that. In the book in the lodge it tells you you are able to get 10% off of all spa treatments, on enquiry we were told this was not correct. Obviously not consistent at all.
Joanne (09 September 2016)

Amy sister in law had a very pleasant stay. our only disappointment was we could not have dinner on the day we arrived. you were fully booked. we never made it to the restaurant as we had lunch out! . . we would return again as its near family.
Patricia from Aberdeen, Scotland (09 September 2016)

A tranquil retreat for adults, high quality accommodation and surroundings.
Peter from Swindon (09 September 2016)

Restaurant meals awful. Fish and chips were tasteless with soggy batter, hand made pizza was like dried up cardboard. Staff friendly. Cooks need replacing (seriously). the restaurant was empty and we soon found out why (even though we were told we must book to get a place?).accommodation nice and clean but wi-fi was awful (we were warned the wi-fi was bad when we booked in by the staff) and the tv had 20 basic freeview channels and was very hard to use and I am a techie? very nice surroundings and well maintained but the few niggly points I have mentioned let it down which should be part and parcel of a decent service.
Paul from Birmingham (09 September 2016)

We were made very welcome on our arrival and everything was explained. The lodge was in excellent condition with everything in it to make a very enjoyable . holiday
Pamela from Oakham (09 September 2016)

The lodge was very nice and spacious, the site very well kept. However the tv software was terrible, it's a third party arrangement and the tv regularly . crashed and turned itself off 3or 4 times a night , the wifi was also very poor and slow. For a site that is just a year old you would expect the it infrastructure to be up to scratch it is 2016 and people expect reliable wifi. the tv really needs to be sorted as we would think twice about staying again. why not just have normal tv reception with all the free view channels.
Nigel from Clevedon (09 September 2016)

The accommodation is excellent, clean and well equipped. The only problem we find the resort lacking is the internet connection. It was extremely slow with the wifi at resort. Hopefully the management will consider to make some improvements.
Emily from Northwood Middlesex (02 September 2016)

Accommodation was excellent, clean and tidy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. . I would like to have seen some facilities for children. I had to take my daughter to the swimming pool in axminster, when a slot at this resorts would have been better. also a park would have been handy to entertain the children as most were just kicking a football about on the grass. Food in the restaurant was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Karen from Colchester (02 September 2016)

We had an amazing time again at hawkchurch. All the staff are amazing.
Leigh (02 September 2016)

A fantastic, clean, modern site with large spacious lodges, beautiful peaceful location - ideal for a family relaxing retreat suited us for this reason, a little bit off the beaten track but shopping in axminster ~10 mins away provided all our needs. Just one suggestion - bar / restaurant prices a bit high (but good quality meals!) would benefit from the addition of simple 'affordable' quick bar food menu - otherwise perfect.
Mark from Birmingham (02 September 2016)

We stayed in accomadation with our 2 dogs and thankfully the private area of the site was not occupied which allowed us to excercise them around that area. When that area is occupied i'm not sure it will be as convenient to stretch their legs. It would also benefit, for us, to have been in closer walking distance from a local pub/ restaurant/ village. We did attempt to walk into hawkchurch one evening but were put of when we realised their was what appeared to be a travellers site just down the road which we would have had to walk past when it was darker. The reception staff were very good, knowledgable and helpful when approached. . it was a bit odd having the chefs staying in the accommodation opposite to ours. We did not use the leisure facilities but did use the retaurant on the 1st night where we found the food and staff very good. . the site was very well laid out and the standard of the accommodation, landscaping and the standard of materials used around the site were of a high standard which made it stand out from others we have used before.
David from Congleton (02 September 2016)

Be warned, if you are relying on technology to be able to work during your stay or to keep the kids occupied - don't go! the wi-fi is pathetic & took the edge off of my break. Other than that moan it is a nice place to stay with good sized modern chalet type homes i.e. Plastic log cabins for want of a better description, my rental was a modern 3 bedroom lodge/chalet whatever you wish to call it! two of which had en suite bathrooms, and the place had good modern fittings with roomy proportions etc. The cost was excellent for the school holiday period however there is genuinely nothing for the kids to do, no issue in the main as we just used it primarily as a base, however if you fancied a beer after returning for the evening then that didn't work with a little 'un' with nothing to occupy them. No comment re the spa facilities as did not use (no kids allowed in the swimming pool) in fact other than to collect keys & have a beer on the first evening never went near again other than to hand the keys back. All in all a good break for sensible money and a bit of decent weather was handy. The park is well located to visit all the major attractions in that area.
Sean (02 September 2016)

Had a really lovely holiday - the resort is beautiful and peaceful. the staff are all lovely and very helpful.
Donna from Croydon (02 September 2016)

Lovely site but not enough activities/facilities for children. I think the pool should allow children in it even if for only an hour a day.
Customer 64 from Leigh (02 September 2016)

We had a great holiday at this site. The lodge was fab. clean and lovely to stay in. Home from home.
Sarah from Andover (02 September 2016)

Great place lodges fantastic modern clean lovel quiet site. Staff great
Christine from Durham (02 September 2016)

Wonderful holiday accommodation excellent nice and relaxing.
Lorraine from Birmingham (02 September 2016)

A great resort, lovely staff, beautiful lodges and a fab area to explore
Nicola from Isle Of Wight (02 September 2016)

We had such a lovely time here on a last minute break and the weather was fab! loved the south facing terrace. Only a couple of down points; very creaky floorboard in kitchen and the internet connection wasn't great but certainly didn't affect the enjoyment of our holiday.
Kate from Cardiff (02 September 2016)

Very nice resort in a quiet location. The lodge is beautiful with all very modern amenities. Appliances of very high quality. We enjoyed staying in on a bad weather day. Will visit again.
Shyam from Maidenhead (29 August 2016)

The lodge we stayed in was really lovely and the staff were all really friendly. The pool in the resort was a bit small and we had to travel quite a way to get to any local attractions.
Alice from Ely (29 August 2016)

Best holiday ever
Jasotha from Ilford (29 August 2016)

Unable to get anywhere close to eat,,,,,all full up or very long wait.. onsite restaurant useless..my daughter booked a table for 8pm and on arrival was told the kitchen was closed.
Marilyn from Christchurch (29 August 2016)

Would definitely stay here again fantastic accomodation the only negative thing I would say could do with a shop on the site
Tina (29 August 2016)

We had a lovely time and the local area was stunning, we visited lyme regis which is probably the prettiest seaside town I have ever seen and a fun day at weymouth with the kids to do the amusement arcade etc. we were lucky enough to pick up this holiday as a bargain so we will be on the lookout again for a return visit.
Teresa from Evesham, Worcestershire (29 August 2016)

We had a lovely week's stay at hawkchurch where the hospitality staff were outstanding. slightly disappointing that there was only one spa therapist available who was standing in, so treatments were limited. we had one disrupted night due to some new noisy inhabitants in the lodge next door, but this was dealt with efficiently by the manager on the next morning. we can't wait to come again.
Tina from Newbury (29 August 2016)

Great stuff! amazing place, relaxing break. Amazing time, see you again soon!. regards
Brad from Paignton (29 August 2016)

Fantastic, very clean throughout staff very friendly could not fault lovely week away
Brian (29 August 2016)

Absolutely beautiful place..excellent accomodation with everything you need for self catering..highly recommended
Anthony from Clacton-On-Sea (26 August 2016)

Very quiet location so very restful holiday. Would benefit from something to do on an evening.
Tracey from West Midlands (26 August 2016)

Beautiful lodges in a gorgeous setting. very convenient for getting out and about. Lovely terrace which gets the evening sun, perfect for a relaxing drink or dinner out doors
Louise from Pudsey (26 August 2016)

Having stayed before , this was exactly as we expected. Very helpful and friendly staff plus wonderful accommodation!
Barrie from Highworth (22 August 2016)

Very happy with the park and lodge. Helpful staff and very clean and ting. Would highly recommend.
Miranda from Maidstone (22 August 2016)

It was truly lovely, very relaxing only problem we didn't stay long enough!
Cherelyn from Portland, Dorset (22 August 2016)

Lovely location and the lodges facilities were outstanding the only fault is that teenagers below 16 cannot use the swimming pool/hydro pool facilities which makes it not a family friendly venue if theres nothing for the age groups to participate in..
Leigh from Buckinghamshire (22 August 2016)

Excellent holiday! lodges have everything you need. The site is lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Claire from Mansfield (22 August 2016)

Fantastic!
Stephanie (22 August 2016)

Really nice lodge well equipped good location for a lot of popular places to vist dog friendly but when it was cold or raining there was no inside area for dog owners this would be my only criticism otherwise highly recommend a home from home
Graham from York (22 August 2016)

Great place for a retreat and a peaceful break. The standard and quality of the lodges made for a very comfortable stay. The bar and restaurant area was a nice area to relax and the staff were very friendly. Not a place to go if you are looking for a lively break (nights out) yet perfect if you just want to unwind and get away from it all.
Jim from Merseyside (22 August 2016)

We all had a great time and would certainly go again, just a shame it doesnt have more selection with regards to every day basic food supplies. The spa/pool are lovely but not suitable for childen under 16, didnt realise this at the point of booking. All in all a very nice place to stay.
Jackie from Berkshire (15 August 2016)

The park location and lodges are very nice as I would expect when paying premium prices for holidays. . we had an issue on the sunday and we're flabbergasted to learn the there were no staff to report the problem to except a waiter! needless to say the problem didn't get resolved and that was very annoying.
Kevin (15 August 2016)

Place very good and lodge very clean. Staff very helpful and polite but bar and restaurant very busy. 1st night although there was a wait for the food it was well worth it! should have booked for the 2nd night as waited 20 mins for the drinks. Ate elsewhere
Adam from Reading (15 August 2016)

Truly wonderful place .
Michael from Weston-Super-Mare (15 August 2016)

Great lodge with a quality finish, really clean and very well appointed. Lovely site with good space around each accommodation. My family particularly liked having ensuites for each bedroom and also a tv in each bedroom as well as in the lounge. I liked the well equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine and the drench shower in the master ensuite.
Susan from Bristol (15 August 2016)

Lovely place although pictures of the 'pool' are a little disceptive. Staff were great and lodge lovely.
Claire from Poole Dorset (15 August 2016)

Awesome weekend break for our mothers surprise 70th birthday. Staff were all very helpful from the off and the lodges are quality. The restaurant and bar on site are also of a very high standard and it is all topped off by the gym and spa facilities. Lovely jurassic coast right on your doorstep so plenty to see and do. Added to all that the site is also dog friendly so our furry friend could tag along too. Will definately go back again!
Reuben from Lincoln (15 August 2016)

The lodge was fantastic, much better than expected. Home from home with extras. The beds were also very comfortable. We shall certainly return very soon. The only issues we had was the wifi is poor staff are aware of that, plus the restaurant is very expensive and we only used it the once. Yes the food was good but over priced. Great place and a very good base.
Ian (15 August 2016)

Fantastic place loved it.lovely spa, helpful staff.service from the staff was speedy and polite, we had no towels in the lodge when we arrived so rang reception within minutes some were delivered.although children are not allowed in the pool the local leisure centre at axminster was only ten minutes away for them to swim.local towns and villages all nearby with plenty for all the family. The lodge was very comfortable and clean and the beds were comfy too.
Jinda from Derby (12 August 2016)

Luxurious modern lodge. Friendly staff and great location to explore and visit other areas.
Josh from Bedford (12 August 2016)

Lovely location in devon countryside, handy for dorset/south devon coast with new well appointed accommodation and nice spa facilities.
Kevin from Chingford (12 August 2016)

Excellent welcome and facilities; loved the little touch of the keys in the box, very good. May be just me but the door to the lodge was a very odd one to open had to get the staff to help !! (handle up..or not? turn it three times..or not..) maybe a little instruction on that but also on the facilities inside (not all microwaves are the same etc).
Darren from Coventry (12 August 2016)

Superb accommodation with a wonderful view. everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Sandra from Southampton (12 August 2016)

Fantastic place to relax and unwind in your lodge it's so peaceful you can forget where you are and just listen to nature on your doorstep . great use of the facilities in with your holiday and the spa was a great place to soak away and relax .
Adrian from Cwmbran (12 August 2016)

Most enjoyable for a short relaxing break. Facilities were limited but all of a very good standard, spa and treatments all very good. quiet relaxing location, clean and tidy surroundings. Hardy premier lodge was first class. My only criticism, restaurant service was incredibly slow so we only ate there the first night.
Susan from Worcester (12 August 2016)

Lovely place to stay, quiet and relaxing. Good location for exploring the coast.
Hannah from Norwich (12 August 2016)

Beautiful lodges, furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Although no welcome book/folder in the lodge to tell you about the appliances, hot tub or park in general- which would have been helpful. Wifi was very slow, at a standstill at times! very friendly and helpful staff although some were obviously new and lacked experience. Despite the lovely accommodation and well presented main building, there is nothing here for children at all. I wrongly thought there was a pool - it is a hydro pool for over 16s only. No outside play areas or activities. A beautiful place for adults but, in my opinion, not family friendly. The shop was eclectic- no milk or bread but I could have bought quinoa and rice cakes! i'm sure it will mature into a better resort over time. I have stayed at cheddar woods and piran meadows, which are owned by the same company and they are outstanding across the board.
Sarah from Hornchurch (12 August 2016)

The accommodation was stunning. it was so well equipped, nothing had been forgotten. it was a week of luxury and we were blessed with good weather. the lodges are relatively new and I hope the staff keep up the good work. I would go again.
Margaret from London (12 August 2016)

The location was great and very quiet, although we did not use any of the facilities what was on offer sounded fab.
Amy from Bury St Edmunds (12 August 2016)

Lovely location, . steve at reception couldnt do enough for myself and hubby. . booked us taxis and share his knowledge about different places to visit. Very friendly and helpful. Would defiantly stay here again. . only negative is that i'm a fussy eater and the menu choices were limited. . a good pub grub menu would be great.
Kirsty from Steve At Reception Couldnt Do Enough For Myself An (12 August 2016)

What an amazing place. I loved every second and have already booked another 2 long weekends away there.
Lewis (12 August 2016)

Fantastic stay, loved it !
Bee from Cardiff (12 August 2016)

The lodge was excellent, really comfortable and the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. The spa and restaurant were very nice and could be excellent if the facilities were properly manned. My husband has lodged a complaint regarding our first evening's experience at the restaurant. We were told they would busy but they fitted us in. When we got there there was just one other table taken. We were given food and drinks menus and then all the staff disappeared for half an hour. We decided to leave and make ourselves something to eat at our lodge. . on the saturday we used the gym and were about to use the pool afterwards but there were none of the towels in the pool area. There was no-one on reception so I asked another member of staff, he went to look for towels and quickly came back and told me there were none in the building and that the cleaners had gone home so I would have to go back to my lodge to use the towels provided there! . . on our last evening we decided to have a pizza, made in your pizza oven. We were told this would take half an hour to cook, however we had to wait over an hour, along with several other disgruntled customers!
Customer 112 (08 August 2016)

Had a wonderful break, thank you. Lodged beautifully clean and well equipped. Would be great to have some ideas of local walks and a swimming pool would be wonderful too!
Emma from Oxford (08 August 2016)

Overall a very nice stay, the lodges are new, light, lots of space and a really nice area inside to relax. Good kitchen facilities and the bedrooms were a really nice size. Bathrooms were nice size and the scenery around was really nice. Facilities were really nice, swimming and sauna were good, steam room was not working. Downside to the stay was that there was not a dedicated person to check you into the pool so you had to keep asking restaurant or bar staff to sign you in. I began to get the impression that they were getting a little tired of doing this as well as their normal job. Also I kept getting told that there were no towels and so I couldn't go into the pool which was not really on. Overall though a nice stay.
Craig from Reading (08 August 2016)

We arrived a little early for check and instead of the type of response we have had from other camps/ resorts we were directed by very pleasant staff to the bar for complementary drinks while we waited. This set the seal for the rest of our stay. The cabin was immaculate and the restaurant food delicious. We did not have time to indulge in the spa but my wife and daughter were very impressed when shown around by very obliging staff. We would definitely recommend the site particularly to those without young children.
Allan from Neston (08 August 2016)

Had an amazing time best lodge we have stayed in
Nicholas from Derbyshire (08 August 2016)

Relaxing -cool,
Peter from Torbay (08 August 2016)

Stunning lodge. Every need catered for. High quality fixtures and appliances. Very relaxing site!
Sarah-Jayne from Belper (08 August 2016)

This was our second visit this year. The quality and comfort of lodges is outstanding.
Vivien from Surrey (08 August 2016)

Great stay.. will be back
Matt from Torquay (08 August 2016)

We had a very nice holiday. the resort was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful. our lodge was also very clean and tidy, no complaints at all. we would highly recommend this resort. it is the second one we have stayed in and we will definitely go to another one.
Laura from Preston (05 August 2016)

Fantastic accommodation and location. Hot tub was brilliant. Would definitely return.
Shane from Runcorn (05 August 2016)

Lovely place but the pool and steam room weren't available one morning. We where only there for 4 nights so this was not good enough! especially for a spa resort?
Sarah from Swadlincote (05 August 2016)

Absolutely fabulous
Helen from Shropshire (05 August 2016)

Excellent in every way!
Donna from Keighley (05 August 2016)

Fantastic clean lodge. Had more than we could have asked for. Beautiful quiet surroundings and great places to visit locally especially sidmouth , lyme regis & charmouth.would definitely stay again
Paul from Eastleigh (05 August 2016)

Very nice clean site. The accommodation was top notch although the bed was a little hard for me. . the spa was lovely but with a maximum of 14 allowed in at any one time, there could be a wait at busy times and the shop is not a shop it is a few items on a shelf in reception. Apart from this the place was very nice and the staff very helpful. . I would recommend this site for a comfortable getaway.
Jonathan from Bingham (05 August 2016)

The whole place was immaculate and tastefully put together. The staff were so helpful and very attentive. it was obvious when we booked that there weren't special facilities for children but there was space for them to play and we were happy to see them making their own fun. it was so relaxing to be in such beautiful surroundings and we will definitely return.
Fletcher from Nuneaton (05 August 2016)

The only negative comment regarding hawkchurch resort and spa is the menu prices at the restaurant. Local eateries were much cheaper and better value for money. It was over £4 for a large bottle of water which was offered to us, the desserts were over £6 and the hot chocolate pudding was served cold and tasted very dry. The spa was wonderful and all the staff were fantastic. We would not hesitate to stay again.
Jessica from Flintshire (05 August 2016)

A lovely place, clean, quality, good value food, lovely live entertainment and a nice sauna and pool. I'd highly recommend it.
Trudy from Orpington (05 August 2016)

Relaxing, beautiful place to stay and explore . lodges are first class and very well equipped. . love it here and can't wait to return.
Neville from Chippenham (05 August 2016)

We had a lovely stay in a hardy lodge. It was a well equipped very comfortable lodge with a beautiful view. The site was very well kept and quiet. We didnt use the spa so cannot comment on this. Nearest supermarkets are about 4 miles away.
Samantha from Wellingborough (05 August 2016)

Excellent lodge with everything we could of needed.
Andrew from Crowborough (05 August 2016)

We had a great break. The marple lodge was amazing, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the local area and the lodges are very well placed to visit lyme regis, charmouth and sidmouth.
Rachel (05 August 2016)

The lodges are well equiped and comfortable with amazing views over the valley. The restaurant is very good if not a little pricey. . the spa treatments were superb and the ladies giving the treatments were excellent. . a lovely place for a short break.
Gillian from Southampton (05 August 2016)

We were very impressed with the standard of the lodge and the site in general and have already recommended it to several of our friends. . the only improvement we can think of would be a swimming pool that younger children could use. . we will certainly hope to use hawkchurch again.
Harry from Bristol (05 August 2016)

Really nice site with very good lodged, facilities and friendly staff. Will definitely go back.
David from Romsey (01 August 2016)

Our cabin was new, clean, well appointed, secure and comfortable. We didn't need a to in every room but the kids thought it was great watching telly on their beds which gave us a bit of peace and quiet. The enclosed balcony meant the dog could sit out without needing to be tied up. All in a very relaxing stay and we'd love to go back.
Angus (01 August 2016)

The lodge we stayed in was perfect. The staff we met were very helpful. The ladies who work in the treatment rooms were amazing. However our entire week the steam room was not working. This was one of the reasons we chose this resort. It was fixed on one day but broken again the next. Our last but one day the sauna was broken as well. So we did not bother going to the spa the last day. This was to us very disappointing.
Gail from Birmingham (01 August 2016)

Lovely relaxing resort, beautiful views, lodges are spacious and comfortable. Pool smaller than expected and sauna tiny, but a lovely peaceful place.
Nicola from Hitchin (01 August 2016)

Good experience !. we really enjoyed our stay in the park and surprisingly beautiful uk ;-)
Rene from Utrecht (01 August 2016)

Spent a long weekend at hawkchurch resort and spa with my husband and two teenage sons. . facilities were excellent - a very high standard. . surroundings and view were great - very relaxing. . would definitely stay again!
Mark from Gloucester (01 August 2016)

Great lodge, fantastically clean and well kept in a perfect location
Martin from Stoke-On-Trent (29 July 2016)

Lovely clean site, a bit off the beaten track.
Lynn from Bristol (29 July 2016)

Fantastic lodge loved the pool cant wait to go back
Mark from Worthing (29 July 2016)

We had an amazing time. We didn't really use the facilities so can't comment. We chose hawk church simply because of the location. We loved that we were just left alone to enjoy our holiday. Lodge was wow factor. Everything that you would need and more. We could only afford this luxury as was practically half price but it is worth the money even if we had paid full price. Perfect.
Claire from Stoke-On-Trent (29 July 2016)

Thoroughly enjoyed our mon-friday family break. surroundings peaceful and lodges not too close together. a few minor problems that were politely and quickly sorted. used the hydropool a couple of times - quiet and relaxing. restaurant was good though we generally self-catered. staff very polite and welcoming.
James from Cranleigh (29 July 2016)

Lovely relaxing park. Staff are very friendly. One issue we had was that our cabin was very close to the bar area and you could see in our rooms. We had to buy some privacy film to put on the windows while we were there. They did say they would look into putting in proper frosted glass in the future. So if you have a hot tub and don't want to be over looked, be sure to ask not to be in number 9
Gill (29 July 2016)

Only improvement would be a kids' playground
Gemma from Essex (29 July 2016)

Lovely place, helpful staff ,overall great time had !
Alan (29 July 2016)
