We were really disappointed with our apartment. The smell of damp was revolting and we could hear everything from the flat above - not the sort of noises and language that young children should be exposed to. In addition, we could not walk out of the apartment without wading through an extremely large, deep puddle so we had to wear wellies everywhere that we went. There was however lots of activities for the children and they did enjoy the swimming pool.
Catherine from Warrington (27 October 2017)

The park is very spacious and clean. Loads to do if you have a limitless budget. Apartments were basic but had everything you needed. Enough on site to park the car and leave it. The beach is lovely and very close by.
Hanna from Wednesfield (27 October 2017)

We had a fantastic stay, our chalet was lovely and clean. Groups are stunning, staff helpful. It was our second time at the park and will not be our last I hope.
Jacqueline from Lanarkshire (20 October 2017)

Really enjoyed a family holiday children aged 4-14 something for everyone to do :)
Samantha from Crewe (20 October 2017)

Paid extra to stay in a comfort apartment as I am eight months pregnant, only thing comforting about it was the cushions on the plastic leather sofa, ended up having to pay an additional £60 to change to a caravan just so I could get a goods night sleep as the beds in the comfort apartments are camp beds???
Laura from Liverpool (16 October 2017)

Swimming pool is more for kids that adults the water was slightly cold amd the hot tub was not on other that the pool everything was amazing
Amy from South Wales (13 October 2017)

W e enjoyed the location, the entertainment areas, we didn't use the restaurants as we ate out but enjoyed the new swimming facilities. . . the major problem was the apartment it put a massive damper on the holiday more so than the rain itself! we will not be staying here again as it was absolutely filthy!!
Aimee from Prestatyn (02 October 2017)

We stayed in an apartment which was damp and smelt awful. Holes in bed sheets, not enough cutlery for everyone. Light switch was hanging off and hot water was that hot you couldn’t touch it. Main complex was also dirty everywhere and the toilets were disgusting. Waiting for the pool to open after it closes for dinner time and watched the staff ‘clean up’ the locker rooms. Except the left dirty nappy all on the floor along with loads of other rubbish.
Natasha (02 October 2017)

Apartment stunk of damp asked if I could upgrade I was happy to pay extra & was told no. On the back of this my 4 month baby picked up a chest infection we assume because of breathing in damp & on are return home we were all ill the following week was very disappointed with the holiday overall
Anthony from Liverpool (02 October 2017)

It is definitely a good site for families.there would be no need to use a car as everything is on site.
Kaye from Gloucester (29 September 2017)

Apaetment was damp ,mouldy and dirty
Laura (29 September 2017)

Great location. . quiet and friendly. Apartment needs a very deep clean, all grubby. Pleasant staff, lots on offer.
Beth from Northampton (22 September 2017)

We did a late booking and really loved the apartment we stayed in, with the veranda. It was lovely and clean and warm, all the facilities the bedrooms, bathroom, tv. Comfy sofa's. if I did have to find a bug bear was the receptionist on the booking in desk was about as helpful as a chocolate teapot, not very good as a first impression for your site, this has to be said.
Sue from Ellesmere Port (11 September 2017)

Hafan y mor was a lovely place to stay plenty to do onsite inc a free swimming pool with flumes slids and jacuzzis. The children could of stayed in there all day. The staff were so helpful there was plenty to do and my daughter had a fantastic time joining the misikids on stage on the evening. Have to mention lauren who went above and beyond her duties and my daughter took a shine to her. Will definitely be back !
Suzanne from Birmingham (01 September 2017)

Great holiday for young kids ace swimming pool . the actives you have too pay for are expensive one off the arcades is very small and outdated entertain ok
Mike from Rhyl (01 September 2017)

Apartment nice and clean and good kitchen appliances and equipment. Very pleased overall if a little noisy above from neighbours walking about and moving furniture
Michael from Lancashire (28 August 2017)

Fantastic
Glyn from W Arrington (28 August 2017)

Had the loveliest weekend.
Cara from Durham (28 August 2017)

A lovely clean site so much to do staff friendly would definitely recommend and will certainly be going again well worth the travel to get there .
Frances from Scunthorpe (28 August 2017)

Accommodation was terrible paid a lot of money for it which wasn't worth it, kitchen tiny for 7 people and it smelt awful, not enough seating and cutlery for 7 people
Emma (28 August 2017)

Swimming pool could have been open for longer. Luckily we had good weather. The beach right by the park is very rocky and very little sand. The access to the beach further along is awkward.
Hilary (28 August 2017)

Was put in a upstairs appartment when I explained that my mum have disabilities, and needed ground floor
Gemma from Blackpool (25 August 2017)

Pleasant holiday park, with grounds and setting kept to a very high standard. stayed in mid august and used as a base to explore north west wales (snowdon less than an hours drive). nightly entertainment caters for young families rather than older groups (all our group was 18plus). chalet was small and basic but very clean on arrival and had all the essentials needed including linen and kitchen utensils. . staff were very friendly, the kids club staff are always smiling and clearly love their jobs. . beer prices were surprisingly cheaper than expected ( about £3:30 a pint) for a captive audience. . . we didn't use swimming pool or other day time facilities ( too busy exploring a beautiful part of the world) but they looked great with plenty to keep kids entertained.
David from Hampshire (25 August 2017)

Was a lovely park n will definitely come back
Joanne from Bolton (25 August 2017)

Stayed in a standard apartment for 4 nights in august which was dreadful. Oven missing dials, lights not working, the outside and inside needing a huge amount of investment to smarten up and make functional and appealing. brand new swim pool had dirty change areas, doors missing on change rooms and showers that did not work. we only used the pool once in our 4 night stay. Staff seemed ok but not too helpful. The tree top aerial adventure was good fun and staff very thorough. We would not go back again and we're glad to leave.
Julia (25 August 2017)

First time at a holiday park and it will be memorable, great place for people with children an dfamilies.
Tasneem from Blackburn (25 August 2017)

Great site with lots to do
Julie (21 August 2017)

We booked a fri-mon stay in a comfort veranda apartment. Booking is was easy enough, however parking to be able to do this was not. There was literally no where to stop or park up. I ad to circle whilst my husband went to check in. The park is big but easy to navigate and well signed. We found our apartment very quickly and fortunately parking close by was much easier than by the checking in office. the site has endless entertainment for the kids and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. As with all holiday resorts, the kids want to go and do everything but it was good that there were also lots of activities that didn't hit our pockets at all. The beach and access is fantastic. My boys loved the rock pools! the scenery from the beach is also stunning. We could see snowdon and the peaks that surround it. Lots of play areas and walks to do and other attractions spread around the site and close by. All in all we would 100% return to the hafan y mor, haven site but I think we would stay in a caravan instead, and we would definitely recommend hafan y mor.
Marie from Halifax (21 August 2017)

We had to pay nearly £1000 yet if we wanted to take part in any activities on site we had to pay more
Deanna from Telford (19 August 2017)

Nice holiday shame the weather was so bad. entertainment was very good. however very disappointed in the mash and barrel. we booked a table the day before and when we arrived at the agreed time, 6.30 p.m. There was no table and no booking logged it took 25 minutes to find a table for us and we were finally served at 8.30 p.m. And one meal wasn't cooked the rice was still hard and the 'caramalised ' onion was still raw. serving staff however were very good in difficult circumstances.
Maura from Birmingham (19 August 2017)

Having a disabled child it would have been nice if the park had at least 1 place to accommodate changing my child ie adequate bench with hoist facility.
Joanne (18 August 2017)

Family holiday 3 adults 2 children 1 baby accommodation superb comfort verandah. Pleasantly surprised very spacious and roomy. Even with a cot in the double room. Very clean as well. Ate in mash and barrel food and service good. Kids loved all the play areas. Pool area was fantastic the cove entertainment lounge was good we even got a table !! would recommend it
Christine from Manchester (18 August 2017)

Great if you have young kids but not for older. Food retailers for "junk food" not healthy alternatives. Unless you want to cook yourself!! struggled for seating at night . ended up leaving after 3/4 hour trying to find somewhere to sit and watch entertainment.
Terri from Leicestershire (18 August 2017)

Fantastic family break
Joanne from Marple (14 August 2017)

Weather was rubish
Khawaja (14 August 2017)

Really enjoyed our family holiday although I think the price of the activities are a little steep and some should be included in the price of the holiday itself.
Lynsey from Barrow-In-Furness (12 August 2017)

Amazing holiday, the kids loved the whole 2 weeks we were there. Cleanliness in apartment could be to a higher standard though.
Jean from Chichester (12 August 2017)

Accommodation was dirty mould growth in bathroom needs updating .
Anthony from Hyde (11 August 2017)

Not the apartment we requested, crowds checking in, not clear where to check in (different locations for different arrival times), had to wait because met was missing, noise everywhere, children playing football using the wall of our apartment to hit it, walking over our veranda to get to the play area, old, furniture broken en mended with tape, kitchen surface fixed with leukoplast. We stayed here for 4 nights, and during that time left the parc as long as possible. Used the beds and shower only
Liesbeth from Leiden, Netherlands (11 August 2017)

Stayed in the apartment was quite out dated , food was quite expensive, but site was very nice
Joanne from Swansea (11 August 2017)

Apartment was quite small. But nice and clean. Good amenities & well looked after park
Farzana from Nuneaton (11 August 2017)

Loved everything about this holiday.
Nicholas from Birmingham (11 August 2017)

Holiday fine only moan was bed settee in lounge was the worst bed I have ever tried to sleep on
Wayne from Stalybridge (11 August 2017)

The apartment was very tired looking compared to some of the other buildings. When we arrived at our accommodation we found that it had not been cleaned properly if at all, there was hair in the shower and around the floor edges, tooth paste on the taps and in the sink. In the living area there was rubbish in still in the bin the floor had not been swept and obviously not cleaned, mould on the windows and the curtains were hanging down. When I complained to reception they sent a cleaner the next day, although I don't know how you can clean without a mop and bucket! . it is very expensive to eat out every day however there is a well equipped kitchen to cook a meal in. We did venture out of the park and the surrounding area is beautiful.
Laura from Durham (11 August 2017)

The standard apartment was far too small and may I say smelt stale on entry
Daryl from Manchester (07 August 2017)

It's the only haven site i've been to where I haven't been able to get in my caravan til gone 4pm. . . the changing village was too small and impractical. There were also broken locks on the doors that could do with replacing. . . we only ate on site once at papa john's witch was awful. Undercooked and overpriced. . unfortunately we left our hard drive at the end of the holiday in the caravan which was conveniently not found. . . the caravan was clean and in a nice location. . . I loved north wales and is a good base for touring, however, I wouldn't choose to visit this site if I were to visit in tge future.
Jody from Cardiff (07 August 2017)

Wifi needs to improve
Ys (07 August 2017)

We went with our 3 grandkids age 13 -12-10 they loved it , just found its a bit pricey for the bits and pieces on the site but overall loved it .
Christine from Fleetwood (05 August 2017)

Apartment was dirty on arrival, beer bottle lids on floor, food splashes up walls, dirty plates in cupboards, grill pan was also dirty. Light not working in one bedroom and no cold tap in one bathroom. All problems were reported and fixed within the hour. The apartment was very spacious and roomy. Perfect for 4 adults and 4 children. Food was reasonably priced, but activities were over priced as was the launderette £15 for 2 wash and dry cycles and clothes weren't even dry! on our first night we ordered papa johns pizza to be delivered, and the delivery man walked straight in to the apartment without knocking, this was also reported.
Rhiannon (04 August 2017)

We had a fantastic 1st haven family holiday at hafan y mor..the site was beautiful and we had a recently renovated apartment. There was a lot to do on site but with 4 children came at a price ..lots of extra activities but at an extra cost. We will hopefully be returning next year but will save up some extra spending money.
Yaeli from Whitchurch (04 August 2017)

This was the fourth visit to hafan y mor. Everything was great as usual except for the patio doors in the apartment being dirty, the toilet seat was loose and there were only two teaspoons. In fact the utensils were very sparse compared to previous years
Jacqueline from Stoke On Trent (04 August 2017)

The accommodation was very clean and tidy. The kids enjoyed the programs at the cove. Swimming pool was great! the children and enjoyed themselves and that was all I wanted. Go kart facility near by was wonderful too.
George from Leicester (31 July 2017)

It was really good fun and already thinking of returning again next summer
Mike from Stockport (31 July 2017)

Beautiful location. Good value accommodation. Reasonable facilities. We would prefer more variety with eating choices and evening entertainment. Everything was very loud and our son is autistic so we couldn't access much in the evenings. Otherwise a great holiday.
Elizabeth from Astley (28 July 2017)

Amazing site been to a few now but this one is defo my favourite.
Pauline from Glossop (28 July 2017)

Nice site, direct access to beach, difficult to get deposits back on go carts (only one queue for hire and return so you end up having to wait for 15 mins)
Fleur from Chorley (28 July 2017)

Lots of noise in our apartment, people upstairs were always banging around, in their rooms felt like they were jumping up and down
Sarah from Chichester (15 July 2017)

Very nice.
Valerie from Oxfordshire (03 July 2017)

The appartments need pulling down, they are cold damp and covered in mould, the beds were so uncomfortable and I was kept awake by the guy next doors snoring as the walls are paper thin. I have trouble walking so had to drive to the clubhouse and all the shops should sell the same things, not go miles to get one thing and then go to the shop right over the other side for something else needs continuity and organised properly, the apartment also smelt really bad
Susan from Chester (26 June 2017)

Apartment cleanliness was disgusting - used razor left in bathroom, old coke bottle left in lounge area along with remnants of crisps. Lounge had bugs crawling about. Children's activities were all booked so couldn't use the facilities.
Rob (09 June 2017)

A very good holiday destination a great place for family's and good for couples a holiday park well recommended.
Terence from Bedford (03 June 2017)

If my idea of a great holiday was living in a noisy open prison, or maybe a filthy, outdated squat, then I would have loved hafan y mor. . unfortunately when I spent a grand on holiday accommodation I at least expect it to be clean and functional, and not cobbled together by the cowboy builder du jour. The "apartment" (maybe "open prison facility" or "squat" would better describe it) looked like it was straight out of 1975, and i'm pretty sure the shower actually was. . the park has clearly expanded without expanding its core facilities, and everything is ludicrously overpriced. We'd have been better off going to find a wetherspoons for the pre-cooked "gastropub" junk than spending anything at the mash and barrel.
Craig from Sheffield (03 June 2017)

Great place!!
Lauren from Whitchurch Hampshire (03 June 2017)

Caravan good for purpose, no seating provided for outside caravan. Picnic table would be a good addition. . food supplied by the on site restaurant was unbelievable & not in a good way !!!!. . can you guess what the £9.99 item is on plate below ??. . if you run out of croutons & no one can be bothered to slice the chicken ( probably couldn't as it had been microwaved to a rubber consistency !!) have no salad dressing left take the dish off the menu!!!!!!!!!!! and get someone who takes pride in what they are sending out. The poor waiter couldn't get away fast enough, at least he was embarrassed to leave it.
Brenda (02 June 2017)

Great place very family friendly , fantastic swimming baths , lovely beach , lots of activities for kids and nice walks . we definitely go again !
Sharon from Ellesmere Port Cheshire (29 May 2017)

The apartment could have been cleaner and bed mattress renewed as not the comfortablest. The external of the apartments also need refurbishing.
Melanie (29 May 2017)

Had an amazing time for our little ones 1st holiday he loved it we have rebooked for next year already x can't wait till next year x
Robert from St Helens (12 May 2017)

Stayed here in sept 2016 and just as enjoyable, great locaytion. Appartment could benefit from door hooks and hot water was far too hot for kids. Would be useful to have check in by times as well as from, we did nearly arrive too late. Disappointed by cars parking on double yellow lines outside our appartment when there was plenty of space in the car park. Bar prices are a bit ridiculous too. Shame we couldn't access the train station from the park
Stephanie from Manchester (12 May 2017)

Had a lovely mini break for the weekend at hafan y mor. Plenty of things to do on the site and we stayed in a self catering apartment. Asda is a short drive in phwelli so easy to stick up if you don't have room in the car. . lovely swimming pool with lots of areas for my baby to play in and explore. Has an amusement centre, boats to paddle in, mini golf, playground and peddle go carts and much more. . the only downside is access to the beach is poor and not good with a pushchair but once climbed down to it it's fabulous.
Claire from Stoke On Trent (08 May 2017)

We had a great time and the weather was lovely so made the time more enjoyable. There is plenty to do for the kids and the swimming pool is really good.
Audrey from Liverpool (24 April 2017)

The apartment was very dated. The jacuzzi was not working, nor the wave machine. The entertainment staff spent more time entertaining themselves. . we wanted to book archery and another activity that was on the itinerary, but was told on the day that these were not taking place!. hence 3 disappointed children as we had told them to wait until the last day to do them, so missed out altogether.
Peter from Wrexham (24 April 2017)

Fantastic
Sarah from Leek (22 April 2017)

We had an excellent time, the grandchildren were in tears when we left, they enjoyed it that much.
Gemma from Manchester (21 April 2017)

Make sure you head there early to book in otherwise you'll be waiting upto 2 hours to check in.. the system used for checking in is awful and needs to change, long queue in the mash and barrel I finally checked in at 5.10pm after standing for an hour amongst people eating in the pub.. there's a unused club house surely they can use that instead.
Maryanne from Shrewsbury (21 April 2017)

Fantastic place to stay, could drive past and not know it's there and then when you enter "wow". amazing apartments, everywhere on site immaculately clean, great facilities and brilliant, helpful staff. A must be place to stay and look forward to returning.
Paul from Rotherham (21 April 2017)

We had a lovely time
Laura (21 April 2017)

The holiday was excellent. I would consider buying a caravan on this site. The only criticism would be the pool was extremely cold and the changing rooms were chaos!!!
Lorna (17 April 2017)

Hafan is one of the nicest holiday parks we have stayed at, very clean and tidy good facilities for the children lots to do in and around the area would recommend it to anyone
James from Lincoln (15 April 2017)

Overall a wonderful holiday. The on site facilities are lovely, the new pool is fantastic! although it was made not thinking about disabled individuals. My mother is disabled and cannot walk far, the only pool she could go to was the lazy river yet she could not do that as the only way to get in there is stairs which she cannot do due to being in a wheelchair. This is very disappointing. The seating area for the pool was also located upstairs with no means of a lift to get up there. Again, this is very disappointing as she could not join the family in the pools or even watch from the seating area. Other than this we had a great time! . . norris from reception was the most amazing member of staff I have ever come across. He was so unbelievably polite and helpful. We spoke to him about the noise coming from the apartment upstairs very early in the morning. He was very sympathetic and made sure that we were happy with the outcome of the situation. He asked us to come back the next morning to update him on what happened that night. We went to see him to say that the problem seemed to be solved and he was extremly happy. Overall he was just fantastic! hyfan y mor should be proud to have him on their team working with them! he was fantastic!
Caitlin from Southampton (15 April 2017)

It's a really good location for families with children. It is also a good base for exploring other locations.
Karen from Chesterfield (14 April 2017)

Great family holiday . loads to do for the kids and good settings.
Armelle from Manchester (14 April 2017)

Lovely place lots to do could of stayed for 2 week s
John from Shevington (14 April 2017)

Second visit to hafan y mor however first time in apartment, would stay again but not in the apartments - too noisy.
Clare from Wrexham (14 April 2017)

We would definitely bring the grand children back here again. To be able to bring the dog too was a big bonus. Thoroughly recommended.
Roy from Keighley (14 April 2017)

We enjoyed our stay at hafan y mor. The best thing was the water park. We thought the cost for some of the other facilities was a bit expensive, but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Robert from Liverpool (14 April 2017)

Second time visiting here, came last year too and it didn't disappoint! it is great value for money, lovely accommodation in a picturesque location. Plenty to do for adults and kids, the water park has been refurbished this year and looks great. The kids age 6,7 and 11 were never short of things to do and were never bored. Great entertainment and plenty of places to eat in sight too!
Olivia from Manchester (10 April 2017)

Big site and great place for families with young children, can get a bit boring for teenagers. Apartments clean and spacious. Food and drink expensive, but that's expected on a holiday site. Placed on the beach, lots of places to visit surrounding the site. If holiday sites are your thing this is definitely one of the better ones.
Marina from Newton Le Willows (07 April 2017)

Meals very expensive
Kathryn (26 September 2016)

A large resort with many amenities for a variety of ages. Great location too.
Stephanie from Manchester (23 September 2016)

The best holiday park i've stayed in, lots of activities to do, down side having to pay for activity passes and booking onto activities. We stayed in one of the apartments would have a new one next time as the accommodation was dated and tired. Facilities and activity areas all very good and well maintained.
Kelly from Leominster (05 September 2016)

Lovely beach on the site, perfect for early morning dog walking.
Mary from Cheltenham (02 September 2016)

Lovely break for us all, we were close to beach it was perfect, thankyou! only tiny complaint is people leaving their dogs barking until they get back late. thank you very much, are returining!
Confirmed Holidaymaker (02 September 2016)

The place is great we are going back next year.
Claire from Rugby (02 September 2016)

We had a fantastic break at hafan y mor and would definitely return. The swimming pool is awesome and our 5 sons spent hours on the slides and rapids. There is a choice of evening entertainment venues so there is something for everyone, as well as a variety of food outlets. The only criticism I would make would be regarding the cost of all the activities. We picked up a last minute deal, but generally the price of the accommodation is quite high, and when you have to pay for nearly every other activity on site, as well as the cost of taking the kids to the evening venues (drinks/amusement machines etc) , it works out as a very expensive break. A few more free on-site activities would be appreciated.
Chris from Stanford Le Hope (02 September 2016)

Excellent time, very good site ,would recommend it
Andrew from Stoke On Trent (02 September 2016)

We was very happy with the holiday we booked again before we left for next year. The only problem is the 4 bed apartments are very far away from the complex and there is no transport for a walking stick user to get to and from everything on site. We had to hire a scooter which was more expense we wasn't expecting.
Nicola from Bolton Greater Manchester (02 September 2016)

We had a lovely family holiday
Andrew from Dudley West Midlands (02 September 2016)

Apartment smelled needs update in and outside shower and kitchen dirty. We had to clean it ourselves carpet was dirty. We spent more time out of apartment.
Navraj (02 September 2016)

Fantastic holiday, can't wait to go back!!
Katie from Wigan (29 August 2016)

Fantastic, we all loved it and are looking forward to coming back again
Kate from Manchester (29 August 2016)

The park had plenty of facilities but I just thought some were looking a bit old and could probably do with a bit of modernising/painting.
Julie from Manchester (29 August 2016)

Treck up the hill to the other side dangerous near to the road with young children. steep steps up to hill with no handrail extremely dangerous too. Accommodation tiny. Would never consider going again if it was free!
Pat from Liverpool (27 August 2016)

I do not want to be negative as I am waiting for a reply to my complaint. However I was disappointed with the standard of chalet considering how much I paid for it. Overall facilities okay
Marion from Preston (22 August 2016)

It was great. The only down side was our apartment wasn't clean when we moved in. The kitchen worktop still had crumbs on them from the person before and the cups and glass weren't clean. Lots of oily fingerprints on.
Regina from Stockport (22 August 2016)

Accomadation out of date needs refurb, buildings need face lift
Terence (22 August 2016)

As always, we really enjoyed hafan y mor. Cleaning staff were lovely and helpful. Pool was lovely but overcrowded due to being august. Smaller arcade could have done with having cleaner tables by the bar. Hire prices were reasonable. Loved the site, and surroundings. Only negative were the staff in the mash &barrel pub. Very disappointed but we did leave comments with the check in staff.
Martin (22 August 2016)

Was disappointed to see the apartment that we booked looked nothing like the photographs on your website and was actually more like a dss flat. It smelt inside, the single beds were like concrete, the main double bed had springs coming through the mattress and the pull out bed had broken legs. Totally disgusted with amount paid for it. The mash and barrel pub which we went to for dinner had food all over the floor and tables and food was re-heated - mine still had cling film on the dish after being microwaved. Had to leave after only one day of being there due to an ill child but to be honest was a relief.
Neil from Wrexham (22 August 2016)

Overall myself ,my children and our dog enjoyed our weekend . the place was very clean, especially with dogs on the site. our accommodation was clean and tidy and had everything we needed.
Rachel from Oswestry (22 August 2016)

Beautiful part of the world but disappointed with the haven experience. the apartment was clean but extremely basic and lacked the cooking utensils required. no instructions provided on how to use appliances or warnings that the water will burn you both in the bathroom and the kitchen - kids scolded. . pointless trying to contact reception as no one answers the phone. Facilities like the pool are extremely dated and in need of a good clean. Likewise the children's entertainment areas. All that being said, the location was stunning and the beach at the back of the park was a real gem. We won't stay with haven but we would revisit the area
Nadya from Cheshire (15 August 2016)

Really enjoyed our holiday :)
Rebecca (15 August 2016)

Fab. Chalet lovely and clean. Lots to do.
Gary from Chorley (15 August 2016)

The surroundings were great, but the cottage wasn't worth its money and was not like the pictures on internet. The staff was not helpfull. The openinghours of the facilities especially the pool were too limited. The priorities of the owners were very irritating. You should mention that on internet.
Jos from Breda, The Netherlands (13 August 2016)

We had a very loud family next door who kept us up most nights . . take outs pub and shop where expensive. . it was very busy had no where to sit during the shows. The beach was beautiful and had lots to keep our 4 year old happy . you do had to pay extra for activities apart from the pool
Elizabeth from Cambridge (12 August 2016)

Fantastic family weekend comfort apartment was ideal . lots to do for children.
Sarah from Rugeley Staffs (08 August 2016)

Great holiday park, very clean and well maintained. Lots to do for all ages. Staff very helpful.
Michelle from Manchester (08 August 2016)

Beds an sofa bed need new mattresses one in room is nightmare
Claire from Peterborough (06 August 2016)

Had a great stay, it was our first time there and will definitely be going back, always something to do for all ages
Zowie (06 August 2016)

Rhian on reception was extremely helpful when I telephoned prior to our arrival with some queries. on arrival rhian checked us in and was really friendly and welcoming. we had a small problem with the shower head but this was fixed promptly. we found all staff to be friendly and great with the children. kids loved the seaside squad and enjoyed the shows. apartment was clean and adequate for our needs for our week. thought the wifi costs a bit high, expected to pay, however, having to pay for each device rather than pay per apartment not great. overall, we all enjoyed the experience
Isabel from Cheshire (06 August 2016)

My overall experience of hafan y mor was a positive one, the facilities are reasonable and the location is great - we were 2 minutes from the beach with a view of snowdon. . we stayed in an apartment - it was clearly one of the older ones, i'd describe it as basic, which is fine however it was also very tired and in need of a refresh. The walls / ceilings are paper thin so you get to know your neighbours maybe better than you might want to. The shower was very average and the hot water in our apt didn't work (i had moved in by then and really couldn't be bothered to move so we washed up with a kettle etc). . on the plus side, the pool is great and was included as part of our package with hoeseasons, the kids enjoyed the butlins style entertainment etc. . if I stayed again I would pay the extra and get one of the newer apartments that comes with a balcony / veranda - walked past them quite a few times and they looked a lot better.
Chris from Birmingham (06 August 2016)

Great holiday, the park is picturesque and clean. Great for everybody and dogs are included too. I would definitely return.
Louise from Kegworth (05 August 2016)

A good time had by all our party, especially my young son.
Stephen from London (05 August 2016)

Although we had booked our holiday 4 months prior, the apartment we were allocated was. In a dark and dismal part of the resort and the apartment was "very tired".it was also up a. Flight of stairs.ok,not a serious problem, but we weren,t happy with the apartment overall. On a plus side, when we returned to reception to see if we could change apartments, the staff were very helpful, and did their best to accommodate us. The ground floor apartment we were offered was "as new"and wonderful. The number of it was 13. Perhaps because of the number it hadn,t been used very much!!!. overall our holiday was very good, facilities for all ages, also very good. We would book again and hopefully will soon.
Alison from Moreton (01 August 2016)

The park is great and the staff are really friendly
Darran from Cannock (01 August 2016)

Lovely family holiday, lots to do for the children. Entertainment good although slightly repetitive. Swimming pool fantastic size but in need of refurbishment.
Kerry from Cardiff (30 July 2016)

A great camp suitable for all ages. Extra activities could be a lot cheaper.children especially enjoyed pool.indoor play centre needs to be larger to suit older children.we would defiantly be visiting the camp again in the future.stayed in an apartment and would choose this accommodation again but would have a balcony next time.
Elaine from Port Talbot (30 July 2016)

!lovely place but accommodation poor. Apartment smelt of mold
Tracy from Stone (30 July 2016)

A refreshing break booked at the last minute. relaxed atmosphere, lots to do and near to beautiful seaside and mountains
Andrew from Sheffield (29 July 2016)

Good clean, friendly park. Will be going back for sure.
Unity from Newcastle (29 July 2016)

We really enjoyed our time at hafan y mor. There was lots of activities to keep our boys entertained. We never felt the park was too busy as it has been in other parks during the summer months. We would return here again!
Laura from Preston (29 July 2016)

Very large park with not enough seating in the entertainment venue, apartments are ugly looking & very basic with no outside space
Clare from Shropshire (25 July 2016)

Brilliant holiday kids love it here.been twice now and we will definitely be going back again .beautiful beaches, friendly staff, great entertainment, splash world is ace. Asda is 5 mins up road if your self catering.x
Anna from Leigh (22 July 2016)

This was a good base to explore north wales and snowdonia, and there were two good little shops for the bits and bobs you forgot to bring. The site is excellent, but unfortunately the accommodation we booked was not really like the illustration as it was somewhat dated with a door straight onto a common pathway where less public spirited holidaymakers allowed their dog to soil, and the folks above let their children throw unwanted food out to greedy seagulls. We planned to stay with our adult children and grandchild, but it was very cramped with baby equipment - thank goodness the weather was good!. the place was clean, and everything worked, but I wouldn't stay in this style of accommodation again.
Joan from Burton On Trent (22 July 2016)

Never been to a holiday park like this before, my 3 yr and 2 yr olds loved it! staff everywhere were great, plenty to do, great location with its own sandy beach. Bit limited on eating out but reasonably priced shops on site to self cater. We'll be returning.
Sarah from Manchester (22 July 2016)

Apartment was ok but a bit of a musty smell, needs updating desperately.
Alison (11 July 2016)

Fab family location, clean accommodation, fun entertainment, would most certainly be returning!
Nicola (27 June 2016)

Not informed or any information given as regards the distance in parking for the apartments. I took my mother who is 85years old and from the car park to apartment was a fair distance. This information should be in the brochure and on the web site. I was unable to drop her off nearer and had to carry all the bags myself .
Ericka (20 June 2016)

Kids enjoyed tho holiday which was the main thing. Pool was ok but could do with a bit of an uplift. Food expensive so we drove out of the complex for evening meals a few times. Weather wasn't great and we felt that in this situation there wasn't really anything for the kids to do.
Peter from Prestatyn (17 June 2016)

We had a fabulous time. And we would return again.
Jessica from Preston (10 June 2016)

Our apartment was awful as smelled, had ants and was nothing like the picture online. We were next to a road so the kids could not play out and the walls were so thin we could not get any sleep as we could hear every movement of our neighbours . we could not have stayed if we did not get moved to a newer apartment 2 days later. The staff at reception were friendly and helpful but the staff at the bar resteraunt were anything but. The swimming pool was very run down and the facilities in general desperately need a face lift. We did not expect to have to pay for every facility either ( other than swimming) because when I called prior to travel I was told everything was included in the price. . the beaches and walks were lovely.
Fiona from Manchester (04 June 2016)

Great holiday with lots to do for children of all ages. My children enjoyed the karts, pedal boats, zip wires and not forgetting the pool with all the slides. Our four bed accommodation was great, big and clean. Some fantastic beaches just a10 min drive away
Sarah from Cannock (03 June 2016)

I wouldn't come back. The accommodation was rundown and wasn't cleaned properly my children found a lighter in there room! was really disappointed that you had to pay for the internet and had to do this for each person rather then for each accommodation! the pool was grim and smelt of feet and the water was cold. The only good thing was the weather was fantastic which meant we was able to go and explore walse. We did come home a day early!

Lovely clean apartment, great facilities in a beautiful setting. we will definitely go back!
Justin from Altrincham (30 May 2016)

Neighbours in appartment stayed up all night making loads of noise whilst my 2 young kids were trying to sleep. Was about 4am before they stopped. Told the staff they were so unhelpful not bothered at all. It was one of the worst holidays I have ever had.
