Apartment needs some updating and the wall fire heating kept switching off. It was however very spacious and the views were wonderful. We all had a relaxing time and would definitely recommend and go back again.
Christopher from Port Talbot (03 November 2017)

Nice place good location . lodge required a few minor improvements no cork screw no ice tray limited cutlery and utensils no light in electric fire faulty shower which did get sorted in the end
Rachel from Cheshire (27 October 2017)

Amazing lodge, lovely location, great beaches nearby and really helpful and accomodating staff! will definitely be back!
Judith from Derby (27 October 2017)

Beautiful view and location
Lucy from Reigate (27 October 2017)

Excellent!
John (20 October 2017)

A very peaceful park in a great location close the beach and local pub. Lots of stunning walks nearby. . we stayed in the chambery. It's very modern and clean with a lovely decked area but it is very close to the entrance so not as private as we thought it may be. The only negative was the nearby building work which meant it was quite noisy during the day. Hopefully this should be finished soon
Lisa from Wokingham (30 September 2017)

It's a lovely restful place to stay, our second trip as a matter of fact, and will not rule out going again in the future.
Russell from Atherton (30 September 2017)

A very nice, well equipped lodge in excellent clean condition. A friendly greeting and departure with no fuss, excellent.
Michael from Honiton (29 September 2017)

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at gwalia falls, will definitely be returning in the near future as it is such a lovely and peaceful location.
Gethin from Newborough (29 September 2017)

Wonderful place and site relaxed
Joanne (22 September 2017)

It was a wonderful place to stay. Hoping to go back soon. Don't follow the sat nav as it takes you down horribly narrow roads
Sandra from Lymm (22 September 2017)

We stayed here a year ago and were so happy to return again but sadly the standard of cleanliness was poor this time. Food crumbs, sticky kitchen floor, sticky cup rings on bedside table, sewing needle on floor in bedroom, kids sock packaging in drawer and cardboard on floor in bedroom, broken plastic kids clothes hangers.grated cheese and crumbs on dining room chairs. Fleece blankets stained.other guests had commented about the shower screen over bath leaking. Despite saying it was fixed,it leaked when we used it. Dissatisfied this time with the lack of attention to cleanliness.
Tracey (16 September 2017)

Excellent holiday great location
Richard (16 September 2017)

Great location and clean comfortable lodge. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Ross (15 September 2017)

Exceptional holiday lodge, will definitely be going back soon. views were spectacular and site peaceful and quiet.
Janette from Spalding (15 September 2017)

Very helpful staff, and the lodge was fantastic. Will look forward to our next holiday there.
Andrew from Worcester (28 August 2017)

Great location, fantastic area, beautiful lodges, but the manager/owner of the site is rude, obsessed with money, and only really interested in the people that own lodges not people that pay good money to stay one or two weeks a year.
Robin (26 August 2017)

Gwalior falls is a beautiful, idyllic spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Samantha from Lancashire (21 August 2017)

Beautiful location with spectacular sea views.
Mary from Essex (12 August 2017)

Another fantastic week in a beautiful lodge near the beach. A really peaceful place to stay.
Carol (29 July 2017)

Fantastic quality accommodation. Plus a short (steep) walk down to the beach, with lifeguards. Swam, body boarded, hired kayaks to see the wildlife up and down the coast. Fantastic. Short drive to new quay or mwnt for dolphins.
Helen (29 July 2017)

Beautiful spot, very nicely kept but sympathic to the natural environment and very friendly manager. Nice house, accurate depiction on the website, well equipped and clean. Thank you very much.
Emma from Berkshire (29 July 2017)

We were not at all happy with the apartment in it's present condition, we did have it at a low rate. In our opinion that was what it was worth, although it was really clean and quite comfortable the bedrooms were not to the standard expected neither was the bathroom. we did not complain to the manager as he was so good with us, (my husband is recovering from a stroke,) and was very helpful, we choose you as our daughter and family recommended you.
Mary from Rhondda Fawr (22 July 2017)

Beautiful location
Geoffrey from Leeds (22 July 2017)

Very pleasant stay
Paul from Stafford (22 July 2017)

Mattresses are a little lumpy. Had issues accessing the wifi but decided not to chase and have an internet free few day's instead. Stayed in status home. Very clean and well maintained and was our first stay in a caravan. Site is well maintained and very clean too. It's planted very well too. Access to beach is excellent but it is a very steep climb. Beach itself is a gem and the waterfall was a nice surprise too.
Nicholas from Leicester (21 July 2017)

Beach view apartment lived up to its name. It was a lovely well equipped apartment in an excellent location.
Gillian from Cwmbran (15 July 2017)

Helpful park manager who took us to the lodge and advised us of the local shops and eating places. Splendid location, short (albeit uphill on the way back) walk from beach and pub. . . would not suit anyone looking for nightlife as area is very quiet but scenery is excellent. Plenty of attractions but you do need to be prepared to drive some distances.
David from Godalming (15 July 2017)

Excellent accommodation. Clean comfortable. Fabulous location. Extremely hilly coastal walks, relaxing sea views. Tresaith is lovely , not many shops close by. You do need a form of transport to get around to further places. Or you could be dropped off and chill without going too far. My only gripe was that there was no oven gloves, hence burnt fingers when using oven. ( minor irritation)
Karen from Sheffield (08 July 2017)

A really great escape from it all.
Roger (01 July 2017)

Fantastic holiday - will return!
Chantal from North Wales (24 June 2017)

Beautiful accommodation in a stunning location. the lodge had everything you could need and was very comfortable. There were beautiful cliff top walks and beautiful sandy beaches.
Angela from Eastbourne (24 June 2017)

Michelle from N.Wales (23 June 2017)

Very clean comfortable holiday home. Everything you need in the holiday home. Very nice views. Cannot fault it. Would definitely recommend it.
Julia from Hereford (12 June 2017)

Had an absolutely wonderfull holiday break accommodation was spotlessly clean and high spec, the scenery and walks first class, the owner of the site was very helpful and friendly we would definitely go back
Susan from Solihull (09 June 2017)

The lodge we stayed in at the gwalia falls was lovely. It was a very relaxing short break. We really enjoyed it.
Moira from Worksop (02 June 2017)

We got exactly what we were looking for. Peace and tranquillity for a relaxing long weekend in a beautiful location in a fantastic part of wales. Five minutes walk from the beach and the lodge was amazing. It was that nice I would do a straight swap with our house for their lodge without a second thought. The pace of life was straight down our street and we can't wait to go back. John and diane from aberdare, south wales.
John And Diane. from Aberdare. (29 May 2017)

Simply fantastic. long weekend booked to recharge our batteries and we were not disappointed. the setting of our chosen lodge was unbelievable. the view took my breath away as it looked out over the bay of tresaith. it was like going back in time to a safer, quieter more sedate place in time. no trappings of 21st century razzamataz just pure simple relaxation and good old fashioned freindlyness. the accommodation was second to none with all mod cons so you could could be self sufficient if need be. if you wanted to be catered for then the ship pub in the bay is highly recommended, stunning views and gorgeous views. the surrounding area was beautiful, rugged cliffs merged with green gorgeous countryside. icing on the cake was the sighting of 12 dolphins along with babies in the next bay down. we spent 3 hours on the cliff edge watching these amazing creatures in their natural habitat
Leona from Stone, Staffordshire (29 May 2017)

Really lovely place.
James (26 May 2017)

First visit to south west wales-superb, nature watching, food, small bays and coves, lovely pubs. Gwalia falls-super value and views.
William from Liverpool (19 May 2017)

Lovely quiet location. Short walk to the beach and access to costal path to aberporth. Short drive to a number of other beaches and cardigan town.

Better than I was expecting
Michael from Oxford (28 April 2017)

Fantastic place. We hope to visit again.
Tracy from Wakefield (28 April 2017)

We stayed in a waterfall lodge 2. the lodge internally and externally was spotlessly clean. the park landscape was excellent and again spotless. . the location is very quiet but exactly what we wanted so that we could chill. there is a pub overlooking the beach which is down a very steep hill, well worth a visit.
Yvonne from St Helens (14 April 2017)

Lovely site, fantastic accommodation and very obliging site owner and staff...
Robert from Marple (27 March 2017)

Amazing, beautiful accommodation, surroundings and location. Hope to go back soon
Rosalind from Staffs (01 October 2016)

Holiday was wonderful, pity the pub didn't do just a pub meal, lasagne something like that, as sometimes you just want a simple quick meal. View from our caravan was wonderful tho, think more for couples than families
Marion from Warrington (01 October 2016)

Have just had the best holiday ever. Can't wait to go back.
Micheal from Doncaster (01 October 2016)

Beryl from Worcestershire (23 September 2016)

Great time lovely views friendly people the whole area is beautiful the apartment was well equipped and comfortable great place to unwind excellent
Gerard from Coventry (23 September 2016)

Had a wonderful stay in waterfall lodge 2. Luxurious. only problem we had was front door would not lock, soon over come with the help of excellent staff. Like a home from home but remember to take bath towels as not supplied, everything else was, apart from food stuffs of course. Would have been nice to have a welcome pack of tea bags, coffee, sugar, and milk. Also there is no information on where to get things or do things, unless you ask. But all in all a great week away.
Leslie from Christchurch (17 September 2016)

Had a wonderful time at gwallia falls, would highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. The views are amazing which meant we spent a lot of time sat on the decking watching the world go by.
Peter from West Yorkshire (17 September 2016)

Fantastic location and accommodation of a high standard. A lovely area with outstanding views and coastal walk. The sire manager/ owner is most helpful with lots of local knowledge . on the top of our list to visit again soon.

Moh (13 August 2016)

A very relaxing holiday in a beautiful, peaceful area. Everything we were looking for.
Alison from Devon (13 August 2016)

Nice place but too quiet for an active family. nothing to do nearby without having to drive at least 30 minutes. no places to eat and if you did find somewhere booking is essential. Nice for a relaxing break no good if you have children
John (13 August 2016)

A superb cottage which is ideally situated on a clean and quiet holiday park. While it doesn't have the seaview afforded to other lodges on site it does stand next to a lovely stream at the foot of picturesque hill which itself leads to penbryn. Staff were very friendly and attentive when called upon but not obtrusive. Tresaith beach is a five minute walk away. Cottage is fantastic. Great facilities, warm and inviting. Great for small family or a couple. It has two patio areas one next to stream with a great bbq. Can't recommend enough. One of the best holidays we've had. I understand owner may extend cottage and while I personally don't think it needs it, it will at least offer capacity for a larger family. Good value for money at current price and would certainly return to site and cottage.
John from Sunderland (06 August 2016)

A fabulous beach but options for bad weather are limited with toddlers in tow.
Stuart (30 July 2016)

We had a wonderful time. Lovely location and friendly, helpful people. Look forward to another stay next year.
Karin from Bridgend. (22 July 2016)

We had a lovely mid week break here which was helped by glorious weather. The caravan was comfy and spacious with a lovely decking to see the sea (although when you sat down it went behind the hedge). the park was very well kept and the staff helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and got to explore too as well as enjoy the beach there. . we like to relax on holiday and don't like to noisier, larger site so this was ideal.
Katy from Orpington (22 July 2016)

Very clean and well kept site
Anthony from Warrington (18 July 2016)

The old mill was very clean and comfortable nice outdoor area with barbecue next to the stream very chilled nicely laid out peaceful site. Beach and nearby ship inn fantastic all within easy walk. Would hope to be back at some time in the future. my 9 year old daughter said it was the best holiday she has ever had and that's with no kids club and play area back to basics family holiday with something for all and fond memories ( nice weather did help!) .

Meriel from Bromsgrove (25 June 2016)

Brilliant holiday ! the gentleman who met us was really nice. the caravan was absolutely wonderful. . my wife was thrilled to find it had a bath, as not many caravans have one. . caravan really modern & clean, well furnished & equipped. Patio doors leading to decking with table & chairs. Great view of sea from caravan. . site was lovely with swipe card security barrier. Very ample parking. . tresaith is lovely , great beach, went to the waterfall, all 5 minutes walk from site, as is the ship inn, great pub, friendly staff & customers, although we didn`t eat there, the food looked wonderful. Reverend james beer..perfect, enjoyed the stunning sunset from one of the many window seats overlooking the ( clean) beach. There are ample seats outside, too. . we had some great circular coastal walks, never seen so many wild flowers & so much wildlife ! ceredigion just feels enchanted. . tried the heavenly home made, organic, local produce cakes at delightful plwmp tart cafe at penbryn, with it`s stunning beach nearby. . visited lovely newquay & fell in love with it !. . cardigan is nice for a visit, too, castle garden is great, & some good local shops. . tesco & aldi a short drive away, co op in cardigan, too. . petrol was same price ( or cheaper ) than at home. . all in all this was a fantastic holiday & although we are always drawn back to ynys mon every year, ceredigion & tresaith in particular will be another firm favourite for us. . lovely place, lovely people, can`t wait to come back. Have recommended to friends & family. . thankyou for a great holiday at such a great price ( was thrilled I was also able to use my defence discount card ).
Keith from Kenilworth Uk (18 June 2016)

Wonderful location, great flat
Paul from Keighley (11 June 2016)

We booked this location based on the pictures of the location of the chalet, the photo was taken from the a spot above the site but in reality the views were :- from the kitchen a shear cliff face, from the lounge the entrance to what resembled a disused quarry, from the entrance side the underside od a caravan and from the front the roofs of other chalets and the distant sky, hardly as appealing as the pictures,. on arrival we were told that they normally required a £100 deposit, which wasn't mentioned, but that it was being overlooked in our case because there was vacancies. Also another car was parked outside our accommodation. .
Frederick from Plymouth (10 June 2016)

A lovely location with spectacular sunset views. the balcony is a little cold to sit out on much of the time, but you still get a great view out of the patio windows. Tresaith beach is ok; aberporth (a mile away) is much better for a beach day out in my view. Beautiful cliff walking to be had on the way to llangollen (though relatively hard work). don't rely on the wifi to replace the lack of phone signal. it was poor to useless throughout. still - there are advantages to being incognito.

A pretty location, decent walks, some interesting rock pools down on the snug beach, even spotted some dolphins out to sea. New quay and cardigan both a short easy drive with some good eating locations are handy. This was an early april short break but I imagine this region gets very busy in the summer peak season

It was a little piece of heaven, so beautiful looking out on the beach and out to sea. we had a lovely welcome and shown around our lodge, then left to enjoy our peaceful holiday knowing if we needed any help it was just a phone call however bad reception with o2 the wifi was good. Lodge and site excellent. Great place to explore more of this beautiful area.

Great place, lots of wildlife.

Gwalia falls is in a stunning location overlooking the quiet bay of tresaith. it is a short walk down to the beach which is very hilly but access is paved. it is a fairly remote location down narrow roads and the nearest shop is a mile away; fantastic for peace and quiet so ideal for a relaxing break away from it all. the on-site staff were very friendly and helpful with excellent customer service. . you may have to travel if you want to eat out. Our experience of the service and food at the local pub the ship was disappointing on two occasions; however others have given it good reviews so perhaps it was an off week.
Karen from Corby (26 September 2015)

Beautiful unspoilt location. Ideal base for exploring ceredigian and northern pembrokeshire. Occasional seals/dolphins in the bay are a delight.
Peter from Chepstow (26 September 2015)

We stayed in the cliffhanger lodge. It had everything you needed. Very well appointed. Tidy and clean. The games cupboard that housed books, dvds and games kept us occupied in the evenings. trying out the alternative 'trickster scrabble ' was entertaining in itself. The owner couldn't have been more helpful. This was our 2nd visit in as many years. A peaceful and tranquil location with some stunning coastal views will ensure that one visit will become many.
