The place was lovely very quiet . but the only thing I found was the £150 deposit we had to leave never been to a holiday place and been asked to leave a deposit . apart from that had a lovely relaxing holiday
Paul from Orpington (31 July 2017)

Was a bit disappointed as more like a caravan than a lodge. Living area was spacious but bedrooms were very cramped. There were 6adults and 2 children and hot tub is only able to hold 2 at any one time.
Linda from Kilmarnock (31 July 2017)

Staff didn't make you feel very welcome. Lodge was ok.
Stephen from Nottingham (22 July 2017)

Very disappointed with the condition of our superior lodge. The lodge was quite simply falling to pieces and the bed linen in two of the rooms had stains on it. When it came to customer service we were greeted by an unenthusiastic receptionist who was shocked that we arrived an hour early from the check in time stated. Furthermore there are numerous rules and restrictions that can be seen everywhere you look, such as not being allowed outside on the balcony are after midnight. Also included within the cabin was an extensive ring binder full of all the prices should you damage anything. overall I would definitely not go back to this place as I felt more of a prisoner than a holiday maker.
Zt (21 July 2017)

We were upgraded to a 3 bedroom lodge on arrival. As it was only myself, my husband and two year old this meant we had loads of room! I would imagine it would be a squeeze if it was accommodating adults in every bedroom though. The lodge was pleasant and well equipped. Was slightly dusty in places but the kitchen was clean enough. Hot tub was great, but be warned, you would be pushing it to get more than 3 adults in it. Park was very quiet which is exactly what we were looking for. It advertises that there is a shop on site, but this is essentially a few shelves in reception with odds and ends on it so go well prepared! £150 damage deposit is required when you check in which is returned at end of stay (randomly we were refunded £149, but not going to quibble about £1!). I thought this was a bit steep and it is not obvious from the booking procedure that this needs to be paid. £50 damage deposit is more reasonable in my opinion.
Gillian from Dalkeith (14 July 2017)

Excellent. Only word I can use to describe it. Place was great, cabin was clean and tidy for us arriving. Stunning cabin, value for money. Id pay more than I did if I had to.
Christopher from Alva (10 July 2017)

Holiday venue is lovely. The damage deposit is excessive. They deducted £1 and made no explanation of the reason for holding back anything. They should either refund the full amount or have the courtesy to explain.
Keith from London (01 July 2017)

Spoilt only by stained bed sheets and mattress with blood and urine on arrival . used reserved set of sheets and washed forsaid. Towels should have been changed during week duration.
Clive from Port Talbot. South Wales (26 June 2017)

We had a fantastic break very peaceful beautiful scenery and the hot tub was great, the lodge itself was amazing, will definitely be back again.
Donna from Kelty (19 June 2017)

There was 3 adults and 2 kids in our party. Although the furniture in the cabin was a bit tatty over all it was a good size and comfortable stay. The hot tub isn't big enough for this size of party I would say it's a 2 person 3 at most hot tub however we still all had a great weekend. Bit disappointed the on site shop was closed the sunday.
Laura from Falkirk (12 June 2017)

One of our worst family holidays total waste of money
Kathleen from Johnstone (03 June 2017)

Brill, fell in love with the area
Elaine from Motherwell (19 May 2017)

Not quite what I was looking for. Weather was great though.
Laura from Ayr (19 May 2017)

Overall we enjoyed our stay at glendevon but thought the hot tub was quite small and ours was not working properly and we were unable to use it for most of the weekend which was very disappointing.the grill door kept falling off and the controls on the hot tub were very worn and we were unable to read them.also there some of the grills from round the outside of the hot tub missing and the cover for the hot tub was worn and pieces of sponge were then falling into the hot tub.
Debbie (15 May 2017)

Excellent location and cabin accommodation, site quite monday to friday but tends to be noisy when weekender arrive.
Michael from Bilston (08 May 2017)

Kitchen not clean on arrival, crumbs under table and oven needed scrubbed! hot tub stopped working on last night but were told on arrival hot tubs were not an emergency so couldn't phone after 9 to get fixed even though you've paid for it! one of the bathrooms had a strange smell like someone had been smoking in it therefore had to use the other one for the twin bedroom instead! the cover for the hot tub was falling apart and every time used had to fish out the foam from it, not good for the money paid! apart from this the rest of the lodge was clean and up to a standard, scenery and walks nearby were excellent!
Joanne (01 May 2017)

Nice accommodation, well kitted out, and a nice place to stay! there is not much phone signal and no wifi though, so do all your planning in advance! the hot tubs aren't huge if there's more than 3 adults, but we did squeeze in 5.. just!
Laura from Glasgow (03 April 2017)

Had a great time, very relaxing and great accomidation
Audrey from Leicester (31 March 2017)

The lodge felt like a caravan inside. The beds were hard and not that comfy. There was no extractor fan above the cooker so detector went off every time we cooked. No wifi and only 2 towels for 4 days.
Lesley from Airdrie (31 March 2017)

The facilities at glendevon perfect for our weekend, staff were very friendly and great value for money, location great and surrounding beautiful
Lorraine from North Lanarkshire (27 March 2017)

We were a group of 4 adults and the lodge was everything we needed. Lodge was excellent with a mini welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and sugar and hottub was an added bonus. The park itself is in the middle of nowhere but the perfect location to get away from it all and back to nature. Amazing views and walks starting from just across the road. We stopped at alloa on the way to do all our shopping but this suited us. Also stopped in dollar a couple of times to use the lovely delicatessen which served fresh rolls, sandwiches and cakes. If looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway surrounded by nature this is perfect.
Sarah from Paisley (13 March 2017)

Had a great weekend but was disappointed with hot tubs. found them very small for a lodge that caters for eight adults. anymore than three people in them the were overcrowded. everything else was very good
Elizabeth from Renfrew (13 March 2017)

Get get away with kids no phone signal or wifi but was great to take yourself away from it for a while only reason I gave 8* as I knifes cant cut though a lemon what to ever so think u need new knifes every once in a while
Samantha from Glasgow (06 March 2017)

Excellent 4 night break and would certainly return again.
Alan from Aberdeenshire (03 March 2017)

Any time I have been any where if ask to stay extra nights which I asked on day one was told no deposit joke say get back when leave took a week and she took 1 off phone ask why she said bank charges us for machine why should we pay it but why then demand deposit should ask for cash put each lodge in separate envelope return at end. As for hot tub until cleaned in morning you can't use it as smells foul
Lynne (03 March 2017)

For a group of 6 the hot tub was tiny. Struggled to fit 4 in at a time. Paying for a holiday for 6 people I think the hot tub should also accommodate.
Clare from Bathgate (06 February 2017)

This was our 2nd year going and was very apparent that nothing had been updated since the year before (not enough crockery switch on hot tub broken the cabin was tired looking and in need of being refreshed )
Catherine from Shotts (30 January 2017)

Had an amazing wend loved it. Great get away for couples and groups
Stacey from Glasgow (30 January 2017)

We stayed in superior lodge 2 which was lovely and spacious and modern. The one massive thing I would say was it was very unclean and it was clear that items hadn't been moved from the previous guests!! the hot tub was lovely without this the stay wouldn't have been half as good. The lodge just needs a little tlc and some added extras like lamps and littl ornaments etc, to get our value for money! I wanted to speak to a member of staff on departure about the cleanliness of the lodge and was greeted by a man on his mobile who simply took the keys off me and didn't ask how my stay was. I wouldn't come again although the surrounding area was beautiful and would recommend max and bens bistro a short drive away for a lovely meal.
Laura (30 January 2017)

We had a fantastic time here celebrating my sister in laws 40th! the staff were really friendly and helpful and the setting was gorgeous.
Tracey-Anne (16 January 2017)

This is a caravan not a lodge as stated. We booked the 'lodge' to hold 6, just aswell there was only 2 of us as this would never have fitted 6 people. At a push would comfortably suit a family (2 adults, 2 kids). the caravan was nice enough and clean, everything there for you well equipped kitchen and cleaning stuff. Towel, linen and housecoats available for you to use. On suite toilet in the double bedroom. Hot tub is tiny, would only fit 2 people at the one time. Nothing in the area at all so be prepared to spend your full holiday in the caravan or you can go on walks, you can drive to near by places. Central heating good, caravan was always warm.
Stephanie from Glasgow (16 January 2017)

The aprk is lovely, clean and well maintained.
Mhairi (09 January 2017)

Fantastic little place, the lodge was bigger than expected, great facilities including dishwasher which was not expected. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!
Lyndsey from Edinburgh (09 January 2017)

Spent christmas 2016 here and we all loved it so much we booked again for christmas 2017! would definitely recommend if you're wanting to get away from it all as it's so peaceful. Tina was so welcoming and helpful and there was even a small shop in reception which came in handy for sugar and coffee! accommodation was great and had everything we needed. We can't wait to visit again, it made our christmas one of the best we've ever had!
Maggie from South Yorkshire (27 December 2016)

Lovely chalet, enjoyed the jacuzzi though a little annoying that it turned itself on & ran all night! lovely park would benefit greatly from a clubhouse!
Martin from Blackpool (23 September 2016)

It was amazing to stay at the lodge was beautiful and the scenery around was amazing the staff go beyond to help if it is needed the only downfall was we was in the end lodge near the cleaning lodge and we kept being woke up very early in the morning by the workers but other than that would defiantly recommend the hot tub was hot smaller than what was expected perfect size for 2 people only just enough room will hopefully visit again
Katherine (23 September 2016)

Holiday lodge was dirty on arrival and we had to leave £150 deposit before we could enter the lodge
David from Penicuik (19 September 2016)

Had a great weekend at glendevon . great wee place only problem we had was that although it says sleeps 6 it doesn't really . the two single beds were small like kids beds and the sofa bed was really small too. The hot tub could get 5 people in but it was really squashed . staff were lovely . cabin was clean lots of lovely scenery. There is a small shop in the reception however it sells like sweets and cat food things like that. So no milk or alcohol and it is very small you really need to go to the next town if you need a shop. Would b a little better if there was more facilities on site. But as I say we still had a great weekend .
Nicola (19 September 2016)

Had a wonderful stay at glendevon country park. We stayed in the superior 3 lodge which was beautiful inside as well as a fantastic decking area. Although the hot tub was a little on the small side it didn't put us off and was great to see the site staff were on hand to clan the hot tubs every morning. eddie, the manager on site was very helpful in assisting is with any queries and had such a pleasant manner. he recommended bars/restaurants in the local area and went above and beyond to ensure we all had a great weekend! . . . I would not hesitate on returning to glendevon and hope to do some hill walking on my next trip. Eddie was also able to help us with this. . . thanks again :)
Siobhan from Motherwell (12 September 2016)

Beautiful however very quiet not suitable for young family. For us it was perfect
Malcolm from Glenrothes (09 September 2016)

Cabin very clean and a nice size for size . disappointed with the hot tub as max you could get in was 3 at a time. . site had lots of litter outside . as cabin was at the side of the road it was noisy in a morning. Although it was relatively new the furniture was already looking tired and the outdoor cushions smelt musty and had mood spots on them. The towels were nice but weren't changed during our stay. Although there was a dish washer there were no tablets or cleaning equipment so we had to buy cloths washing liquid and tea towels - not what you expect when you pay over such a lot for a week in a glorified static caravan
Customer 41 from Runcorn (03 September 2016)

Beautiful countryside not too much to do, one nice restaurant close by.
Claire (12 August 2016)

The park is extremely remote and 6.5 miles from the nearest village, 10 miles from a shop. On arrival we was asked to pay £150 damage deposit which was not refundable until the day after leaving! when it was refunded, a charge of £1 was taken. The hot tub was barely big enough for 2 people, let alone a party of 6 which was the accommodation size. Can't fault the lodge., it was lovely. there is no wifi at the site at all.
Gina from Northampton (30 July 2016)

Loved it here! the staff were lovely.
Jillian (25 July 2016)

Beautiful location, beautiful and peaceful park, very relaxing and all the park workers very friendly and helpful, enjoyed using this location as a base for visiting nearby places
Michael from Darlington (15 July 2016)

The caravan was lovely. It was clean, had everything we needed and the hot tub was an added bonus, which the whole family enjoyed. The caravan site was tidy and very quiet. The situation of the park for us was very remote, and as a vodafone customer we had no phone signal at all.
Faye (15 July 2016)

Had a fantastic stay there. The hot tub could of been a bit bigger but did us ok, instructions weren't very clear as couldn't always switch off bubbles. The security deposit was very steep compared to other places. The staff were very helpful. When we couldn't access the internet to find out about the local horse riding (would recommend exmouth pony trekking if staying in summer) they let us use a computer to get details to phone them. I liked the fact that there wasn't a play park as it meant children weren't always asking to be taken there, they played with other kids at the front of all the lodges. The lodge was very clean when we arrived, we really appreciated the welcome pack of dishwashing things and tea coffee etc and the dressing gowns. Would go back.
Colin (15 July 2016)

Cabin was lovely and clean.hot tub was dirty when we arrived but was cleaned as soon as we reported it.hot tub was tiny considering we booked the cabin for 8.sofa bed very uncomfortable ,other beds very comfortable. Dressing gowns and towels were a nice touch.
Lesley from Grangemouth (11 July 2016)

Best lodges I ever been to pictures do not do it justice. Cabin was immaculate, had a lovely weekend x
Suzanne from Livingston (11 July 2016)

We found a cracked wine glass, handed it in to recewption, but had £1 deducted from our deposit!! not pleased. Site has several older residents and could do with a children's play park. A long way to shops so take supplies.
Peter (08 July 2016)

Chalet was lovely ,very clean ,comfortable and spacious.
Nicholas from Nuneaton (25 June 2016)

Lodge was damaged and worn, way over priced staff were rough and abrupt lovely part of the world but stay somewhere else!!
James from Ayrshire (03 June 2016)

Worst holiday I ever had
Saurabh (31 May 2016)

Excellent location enjoyed the hot tubs
George from Bonnyrigg (23 May 2016)

Lodges were lovely and clean, surroundings were beautiful but there is nothing to do on site you have to drive a good few miles to get to a shop. 4 days was just too long. I would go back but not for as long next time.
Leeanne (20 May 2016)

When booking our weekend away the girl dealing with the booking asked if this was for a special occasion. we told her it was a 50th birthday celebration, she then said there would be a gift left in the lodge. there was no gift. . . the cabin itself was very nice and clean, hottub was great although a bit on the small side as there was 5 adults, the location was fab and had lovely walks. . . we all had a fantastic time at the lodges and would definately consider returning in the future.
Charlene from Dumbarton (09 May 2016)

Location was good but park could benefit from an onsite cafe / restaurant. Limited phone signal, could benefit from wifi! staff were very friendly and helpful.
Jodie from Fife (02 May 2016)

This place is gorgeous! stunning views and cosy home from home lodges. Very clean and well looked after. Lodges come with private decking with table and chairs. And hot tub has fence around it for extra privacy. Only disappointment was we couldnt get rebooked for august as its full!!
Jennifer from Edinburgh (02 May 2016)

We thought the hot tub was very small,
Alex (18 April 2016)

We have stayed here before, mainly for the location, hot tub a little small but still a nice addition
Emma from Aberdeen (08 April 2016)

Beautiful area with lovely walks.
Ian from York (28 March 2016)

Great holiday
Eric (18 March 2016)

Great place very peacefull!! loved it.
Paula from Liverpool (11 March 2016)

Beautiful accommodation hot tub cleaned daily very quiet and peaceful
Martyn (07 March 2016)

Had a fantastic girls weekend at glendevon. Had a few minor issues and the staff had it fixed immediately they were very friendly and helpful. Lodges were very cosy and comfortable and excellent value for money can't wait to go back.
Karen from East Kilbride (07 March 2016)

Although the cabin was very good the hottub was very small for an 8 person cabin. Also having no shop close by was difficult and travel was just as bad. Staff were very helpful and easy to speak to which was a big plus x
John from Glasgow (29 February 2016)

Cabin was perfect. Honestly cannot fault as it had everything we needed. Perfect weekend for relaxing in the hot tub! only thing would be that it doesn't advise that it had a dvd player so my friend was paranoid and bought a cheap one to take! but it does!
Alison from Hamilton (29 February 2016)

Not happy with several damaged items within the lodge and also deposit of£150'00 taken as security.hot tub too small, barely suitable for three people and seating space in sitting room also not adequate for a lodge advertised to suit six to eight people.
Roberta from Glasgow (22 February 2016)

Had a lovely stay at these lodges however the trip was dampened by treatment from the on site manager. I had unfortunately left my jacket only realising when got home and when I contacted the manager I found her cheeky, rude and unhelpful. I ended up driving back the next day - 3 hours to collect it. My partner had to pay a deposit on arrival which he was told would be paid back on the monday. By the thursday this had still not been put into his account. He contacted them and this was out in the next day however was short. This has now been rectified but has put a dampener on an otherwise lovely stay.
Julie from Glasgow (22 February 2016)

First impressions when showed up at reception it absolutely stunk of cigarettes with no smoking signs every where the log cabin was lovely and very clean but no facilities or nothing near for 7 miles
Donna (22 February 2016)

We absolutely loved our family holiday. The cabin was lovely and the area is beautiful. Will definitely be going back.
Kaylea from Cornwall (20 February 2016)

Lovely surrounding, staff weren't overly friendly, bed was hard and very uncomfortable, described as a lodge but really should be described as a caravan, shower was too hot, grit box was locked and when it was snowing and icy was hard to get out and steps were slippy.
Bethan from Cwmbran (19 February 2016)

Having stayed at three other similar lodges in recent years, we enjoyed this one the most. Loads of space, well laid out, very comfortable and the hot tub was lovely for me and the mrs to unwind (in the snow!) beautiful scenery on the drive up and a great base for exploring stirling and perth. We all had a fantastic and very relaxing break. . my son left his teddies behind but a quick phone call later and they were in the post the very next day, thanks to the very nice lady at reception.
Paul from York (19 February 2016)

Only major flaw I found was no wifi available unless I walked down to the reception office at beginning of park, was happy to not have internet access for a relaxing weekend away however some of our party never had any signal on phones, that's as petty as my "complaints" are bout our stay, everything was clear and we all had a great stay, will deffo b back
William from Glasgow (15 February 2016)

Enjoyed our stay here, kids had a great time because of hot tub.. staff were very nice. The park itself has nothing on it but that didn't bother us..only down side was no wifi for kids to watch ipads but not a major thing..
Paul from Paisley (12 February 2016)

Nice location
Siobhan from Bathgate (08 February 2016)

Lodges and hot tubs were lovely only negatives were lack of lighting and no wifi although was advised by staff wifi is being arranged
Amanda from Airdrie (08 February 2016)

Lodge was perfect very clean and everything we needed. Hot tub took 5 adults comfortably. Only downside was the jack of phone coverage and the location was a bit too far from anything. A small site shop might have helped. Wouldn't hesitate to book up again though.
Nancy from Fife (08 February 2016)

Loved it , perfect for beautiful walks , hot tub was lovely but ideal for just 2 , accomodation top notch , had a wonderful time with my hubby. Wifi non excistant which might be a problem but I enjoyed the switch off lol
Elizabeth from Paisley (05 February 2016)

Staff very friendly & helpful with us throught our stay! only thing we weren't aware of was a £150 security deposit was to be left on arrival.
Sarah from Perth (01 February 2016)

Nice place and only a short drive from glasgow, not very much about to do but was ok for a short weekend, seemed to be a lot of young groups so was quite noisy at times. caravan was lovely and warm inside, the hot tub was ok been to a lot of lodges/caravans and this is the smallest hot tub we’ve seen could only fit 2 adults 3 at the most, overall for the price we paid would return for a short weekend.
Angela from Glasgow (01 February 2016)

Had great time will be going back soon for another relaxing week . lodges very clean hot tub great fun.
Fay from Lochgelly (22 January 2016)

No complaints although in middle of nowhere no internet kids actually didn't moan just entertained themselves can even get asda delivery would recommend.
Tracey (18 January 2016)

Great time , great location
Martin from Dunfermline (18 January 2016)

Enjoyed my stay. . . only problem we had was that the hot tub wasn't that warm on out last night. Staff came to have a look but it didn't get much hotter so we couldn't use the hot tub as it was raining and freezing outside.
Kirsty (06 January 2016)

The lodge was stunning, lovely furnishings. We enjoyed our stay. Well equipped. 6 of us stayed for 2 nights. Found the beds in the twin rooms too small for adults, but ideal for kids. The double room bed was so uncomfortable. Hot tub was great, cleaned every day. Although an outside light would have been useful. £150 deposit required on arrival, luckily I had my credit card on me. Went for long walks. Would stay again if double beds were replaced.
Tracy from Glasgow (03 January 2016)

Beautiful lodge lovely surroundings. No on site facilities
Katrina (21 December 2015)

Had a great weekend, only reason I wont return again is the hot tub is too small for 4 people, otherwise it was good. We are very disappointed with hottub because we would definately have returned.
Jaqueline from Hamilton (14 December 2015)

Great weekend
Louise from Dundee (14 December 2015)

My partner and I stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of december and were really happy with the accommodation and holiday overall. The hot tub was lovely. It would have been nice to have some grass outside the cabin to give it less of a caravan park feel but it was ok for a short stay. It would have been great to have had a convenience store closer by too (nearest 15 minutes drive). staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back to stay! thanks glendevon!
Emma from Glasgow (11 December 2015)

Stunning lodge with everything at hand, definitely deserves the superior title! hot tub is a bit on the small side and is more like a jacuzzi for 2, that was the only downside to the whole weekend. Brilliant value for money and would definitely return!
Lesley from Wishaw (07 December 2015)

There are no additional facilities on site. No wifi in the lodge and poor mobile phone signal. location of park gives the feeling of being away from it all , yet you are only 15 min drive to town of auchterarder.
Agnes (30 November 2015)

Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/10 no complaints other than having to come home
Robert from Glasgow (27 November 2015)

Lovely location and close to everything required
Grant (27 November 2015)

What a beautiful lodge to stay, obviously the best point was the hot tub, just wish they had some entertainment on or something and really need to sort the wifi out
Adele from Aberdeen (13 November 2015)

Had a great few days in november, cabin was spacious and had luxurious, will definitely book again.
Janet (13 November 2015)

Fantastic get away location, no facilities on park but that was why we went.
Julie (09 November 2015)

The cabin was nice but was missing some basic items that would have made our stay better (no tray for oven etc) furniture was uncomfortable. Had to pay £150 deposit when we arrived which I felt was unnecessary as I had paid extra for insurance, anyway did get that back without any hassle. Lots of rules posted in the cabin,no shouting, singing etc but it definitely wasn't followed by our neighbours who enjoyed themselves until 5am so no sleep for us. There is nothing on the site,no shop, park etc wouldn't return for a family break.
Vicki from South Lanarkshire (09 November 2015)

The lodge itself was lovely but feel it was too isolated there wasn't even a footpath to walk to the nearest village
Gillian (09 November 2015)

Hot tubs could be a little larger but u get what u pay for lodges are beautiful inside and out could be doing with a shop etc on site
Kerry (02 November 2015)

We all agreed we had a fantastic stay - we felt though that the brochure and website really doesn't sell it and list all the features. the lodge we had both bedrooms had walkin wardrobes and both ensuite which wasn't mentioned when booking - was a super find though!!. we wouldn't think twice about returning!!
Wendy from Newcastle (30 October 2015)

I had a lovely time away with family and friends to celebrate my mums 65th birthday. Cabin was nice, well equipped, lovely views, helpful staff. The only thing there were a few finishing touches that could have improved the stay. There was no instruction to operate the hot tub so on the first night it switched off due to lack of water and we didn't want to phone for assistance as had already called due to a door that wouldn't close. Also no lighting out at the hot tub area. Displayed around the cabin were rules and fines if something went wrong instead of a welcoming message to enjoy your break. These are just nice to have thing. Did really enjoy the break and would recommend and return.
Joclynn from Glasgow (26 October 2015)

Great relaxing break
Christine (26 October 2015)

We had a lovely relaxed week here. Accommodation was spotless and very spacious. Hot tub was great couldn't fault anything.
Carole (24 October 2015)

Lodge is just a timber cladded caravan. Unfortunately our lodge looked out into building site. Got tub is ok for 2 but definitely not for a family. Hot tub was not cleaned properly and filter clogged with pine needles.
Susan from Fife (23 October 2015)

Compared to other parks service very good hope when park is up and running as it is a new park there will be some fasciitis ie shop
Hugh from Wishaw (23 October 2015)

Lodges was too compact & and hot tub was too small for 4 adult.
Customer 107 from Southall (23 October 2015)

We had a lovely weekend but unfortunately we were very disappointed. The lodge and hot tub was booked for 4 adults and 2 kids. The lodge slept 6 no problem but the hot tub was not like anything we've booked before. It only seated 2 adults and was more like a mini jacuzzi bath. The water was just above an adults waste. Not what you expect when you book a lodge and hot tub that can sleep up to six. Had we been aware of this prior to the holiday we would have changed the booking.
Deborah from Bathgate (19 October 2015)

As a family we thoroughly enjoyed our time to relax, hill walk and the surroundings were great. Only negative point was the notices stuck in the lodge regarding don't was a little of putting. But as a whole the lodge catered to all our needs and we had a great time.
Stephanie from Bridge Of Weir (16 October 2015)

My family and I enjoyed our break very much. Thank you.
Catherine from Edinburgh (12 October 2015)

Lodge was lovely, clean and modern, had a lovely time
Kellsey from Fraserburgh (09 October 2015)

Fantastic stay. Ultimate chill out. Took a few hours to get used to lack of phone signal and wifi but it actually became a plus point. Peace perfect peace.
Stewart from Dundee (09 October 2015)

Booked this for a girlie weekend and we did get a really good deal. Place was spotlessly clean and in a beautiful surrounding. We were really disappointed that the hot tub wasn't set up for us on arrival though - hot tub was main reason for booking this lodge! frustratingly when we arrived hot tub was empty of water!!! we had to fill it up and heat it which took hours so we didn't end up getting into the hot tub until midnight! bathroom light also didn't work and we reported this to reception but it didn't get fixed. We would book again as did have a lovely time but hot tubs should be ready and set up for people arriving!
Elizabeth from Perth (05 October 2015)

One down fall is it needs a shop on site and hot tub too small for family only 2 to 3 people in at a time
Garry from Easterhouse Glasgow (28 September 2015)

Very clean facilities and a well equipped lodge. hot tub was in great condition and regularly maintained during our stay.
Fiona (21 September 2015)

We had a fantastic time. We will definitely be booking to come back.
Faye from Midlothian (21 September 2015)

Lovely relaxing holiday. Staff extremely helpful. Lodges spotless.
Elizabeth from Glasgow (21 September 2015)

Stayed here for a week in sept. To be honest I could not fault the lodge or the site. Very quiet and relaxing with plenty of walking and fishing near by. If you like the out door life then this place is for you. The hot tub was amazing sat in it under the stars. Would highly recommend and return myself in the future. Staff very friendly and yes you do have to pay a £150 deposit but if you don't damage or break anything you get it back. Simples!!! no big deal!
Sue from Brecon (19 September 2015)

The whole park was a construction site, very dissapointed
Chris from Birmingham (18 September 2015)

Beautiful place with amazing surroundings. Staff are very helpful. Only issues are; wifi never works. Also the hottub is very small and can only just fit two people in and it's not very private (on front decking with nothing around it. Nothing on site but wasn't expecting much in the middle of moutains. Very good place if you just want to get away from everything and relax. Didn't know about the £150 deposit though on arrival which is abit extreme as this could've been spent on holiday and other things. Another issue was on some channels the sound didn't work on them, and this problem wasn't resloved while we was there. This place could also do with a shop onsite. Overall though we would come back if we got a similar offer to what we got, but wouldn't pay the full price.
Josh from Nottingham (18 September 2015)

Loved our stay. cabin was spotless good quality bedding.
Gweneth (18 September 2015)

We had a brilliant weekend at the glendevon lodges. The lodges were very clean, nicely decorated and spacious. the hot tub was excellent. The location was really nice and we were lucky to have sunshine too. would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.
Angela from Balloch (07 September 2015)

Its just starting up and has a long way to go.
Gregg (28 August 2015)

Lovely accommodation, lovely area would definitely stay again. Hot tub just added to our stay.
Kate from Spalding (22 August 2015)

Beautiful lodge, peaceful location. We travelled all around from inverness to port patrick. . tina and bruce are so friendly and helpful, we will be back
Scott from Warwickshire (22 August 2015)

The hot tub was not much of a hot tub. On our first day it was too dirty to use. Water murky and scum all round the sides. I mentioned it to staff the next morning and received no apology but told she would be round soon to clean it. Was okay to use that night but the next day dirty again. We booked to use the hot tub with our little boy who has cerebral palsy but I only let him in once due to it being unclean. . it is one of the main selling points and it was expensive for a caravan with a spa pool. . lovely location and the superior lodge may have been better as we had deluxe. Not a lot on site but we knew this and were not bothered about it.
Debbie from South Tyneside (14 August 2015)

Had a fantastic weekend for my 40th birthday. i'm sure we'll be back. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Jennifer from Falkirk (10 August 2015)

Great place, beautiful area.
Paula from Huntly (10 August 2015)

Our family really enjoyed the holiday everything was brilliant except the weather. The good old scottish weather let us down again but really enjoyed our holidays. Would defo recommend these lodges to others.
Janeann from Perthshire (08 August 2015)

A delightful holiday. Only (minor) drawback was the lack of any form of shop or pub/hotel/restaurant within walking distance.
Margaret from Aberdeen (08 August 2015)

Park is very isolated nowhere within walking distance and no facilities on site. Wifi unfortunately doesn't work although the park did confirm this before arrival. Lodges are lovely new and spacious with fresh clean interior. Just a shame location lacked anything within walking distance.
Maria from Glasgow (03 August 2015)

The cabin and surroundings were amazing, we would definatly stay here again, the only thing that would make it better is that there is nothing on the site at all, a small shop selling just the basics would be useful, saying that though alloa is not to far away with a tesco, mossisons etc, and having two children aged 14 and 10 they didnt like the fact that they couldnt connect to wifi all the time very intermitant but that could be due to surroundings.
Andrew from Northamptonshire (01 August 2015)

Nice relaxing holiday only thing would add , play area for children
Nana from Arbroath (31 July 2015)

The only thing we found was that although central the location was a bit far too in .
Princess from Lancashire (31 July 2015)

Extra facilities needed on site, in our opinion not a log cabin but a luxury caravan with wood surround. Hot tub should be size enough to hold capacity of cabin 2-3 people at a push.
Gail from Lanarkshire (27 July 2015)

The park is in a beautiful location but there are no facilities whatsoever. Dollar is only a ten minute drive away but we felt a small on site shop would have been useful, even if they sold some basics in the large reception. The park is very pretty but i'm afraid the way the new lodges have been placed is out of keeping with the rest of the park. For starters they are all in a row in two lines facing each other which doesn't really lend itself to privacy and there is some serious landscaping required as the lodges are just placed on nasty looking unsightly black gravel. There is an area at the end of the lodges where new lodges are obviously going but it wasn't screened off very well. I can imagine though that once it's finished (and hopefully landscaped with some greenery!) it will be loving as the setting really is beautiful.
Jennifer from Livingston (24 July 2015)

The area is lovely and the staff were great. Be warned of the £150 deposit, we wasn't told about this.
Leanda from Birmingham (20 July 2015)

Great lodges for our needs. The staff on arrival were very overbearing, warning us of all the rules etc. We had three lodges booked so we handed our safety deposit (£450 cash ) over as soon as we arrived to check in. Two of our lodges got their deposit back, one didn't for reasons we're uncertain of? nothing was broken or damaged, no rubbish left behind. The hot tubs were good, if a little small and difficult to regulate the temp. The holiday park is located in a heavily wooded area so there were tons of midges/insects. We were not prepared for quite as many as there were. One of the bedrooms despite the window being shut was covered in them, we think they were getting through a vent/duct. . despite these niggles we would stay again, great value for money and very clean!
Laurie from Brechin (13 July 2015)

The staff at the park are outstanding
Katie from Cottingham (13 July 2015)

Great location for exploring the surrounding areas, loads to do but you must drive. not much in the park itself but lovely walks nearby. we were in one of the new lodges and despite the picture showing a view down the valley we were at the bottom of the park with nothing but tree's to view, not a bad view but would be nicer to be up the hill. the park could do with a play area for the children and somewhere to play football. will definately visit this park again.
Emma from Aberdeen (11 July 2015)

Great place, great staff just needs a shop onsite for the basics
Leigh from Edinburgh (11 July 2015)

Not like a lodge park, caravan site more like it. No privacy in the hot tubs and "lodges" all lined up like caravans. £150 security deposit is an extortion and we got it back on the friday and no one checked anything so why bother with a deposit? a lot of money to take from families holiday spends. Entry code barrier system that you had to get out of your car each time to access and it was just not physically possible to operate without doing so. Would of needed longer arms. We would never return and we have been to alot of parks over the years. . they had no literature about what was on in the area. The laugh is we found a brochure for the park in a tourist info office. It said it had tourer pitches, a shop, bike hire and lots more. None of these existed. A bit of a joke.
Sandra (10 July 2015)

Very good overall but the building site over the fence was rather off putting.
Joyce from Tregynon Wales (04 July 2015)

Fantastic setting for us (mum, dad 3 yo and 1yo). 35 minute drive to stirling and another 10-15 mins to the safari park. It must be noted that there is very poor phone signal and no wifi, even though it states that there is. The reception has very litte info for attractions nearby and no maps. Other than that it was a great place to stay and relax.
Rob from Ellon, Aberdeenshire (03 July 2015)

An issue with bruce the sales guy, he's moving on anyway. But the park itself was lovely. Tina manager very helpful. Lodges was huge, everything you need inside. Very peaceful area. Would highly recommend. We had a great weekend.
Emma from Falkirk (22 June 2015)

Great place to stay....couple of comments for prospective holidaymakers. . 1. The park is isolated to amenities such as shops etc and there are no parks nearby for kids. 2. The hot tubs are only big enough for 2-3 people max. 3. We had a lovely stay but there were 2 or 3 hen / stag do's so was very noisy at night despite there being a 12pm curfew for 'loud noise and parties'. 4. The cabin was awesome though...it had everything you needed.
Corrinne from Falkirk (22 June 2015)

Twin beds too small for adults. Hot tub also a bit on the small side, only two people in it at a time, so a party of 3 or 4 could not all sit in tub together. Ideal for a couple though. Controls for hot tub meant it seem to be on all the time. Only switching off as advised by the override control button in the main bedroom. . the cabins were immaculate and new however and setting was lovely. . . perhaps a review of the car barrier for entering the park. You had to physically get out your car to type in code on key pad. Meaning mad dash back in car when barrier raised to get through in time incase barrier came down again. I suspect keypad post was put in ground too close to barrier not leaving room for car bonnet to sit in front of barrier safely. It was frustrating more than anything.
Mhairi from Dunfermline (22 June 2015)

The park and lodges are very good. staff friendly and helpful.
Jim from Newport, Shropshire (20 June 2015)

If you paid £350 for the week then that's great..it's not luxury and definitely not private. We paid more for a luxury romantic break and was disappointed. . . we arrived at 6pm having noticed the previous reviews saying the lodge wouldn't be ready until after 4pm. The office was closed and we had to call the number on the door which was no problem. . . we were greeted by a lady who met us with "i need £150 deposit". I was not aware this was the case and asked why to which the reply was "in case you trash the place". this instilled me with confidence as to what my accommodation might be! . . the lodge, I would describe as a giant caravan. From the outside looks nice and inside was very well equipped. the hot tub was great, until we realised that it was running at 42 degrees most days and asked for assistance. They came from calling the 24 hour number and advised us to put cold water in until it dropped. We queried why the lights were not working and told they were waiting for a part. Not sure why they put us in this lodge when there were plenty empty which probably worked..maybe my fault for not complaining directly. . . beware when booking, this place is local for most places however it is located by a busy main road which you have a view of. The view from the lodges which are located at the bottom of the park near the road are of the rest of the park. As is the hot tub..very much on full view of other residents!. . . good food at the tomarken hotel in glendevon, remember the 10% off voucher in the lodge. Good base to visit gleneagles, st andrews and edinburgh. Lovely deli in dollar too. . . on the whole if you pay less and are not spending time in the lodge then this is the place for you unfortunately not us.
Jenna from Yorkshire (20 June 2015)

The lodge is more like a caravan and would have been a bit too crowded if it was filled to capacity. As it was it was perfect for the two of us. The hot tub was lovely and relaxing, but again good for 2. Any more than that and it would be "oops, sorry , was that you"? it was also a bit temperamental. ..had to switch it off at the circuit breaker. Not enough to spoil our wee break. . the park itself has no facilities, but we knew that before we went. Good for getting away from it all. . the price is about right. . would recommend with a few caveats.
