Was great, only thing that could have been better was a onsite shop of some sort, if you don’t have a car, the shops are a long walk a way and the buses run hourly and stop around 5pm
Bradley from Canterbury (13 April 2018)

Really enjoyed out break, would have appreciated a shop on site for basics
Edward from Staffs (06 April 2018)

We have been going to this park for years beautiful park and setting
Jane from Crayford Kent (06 April 2018)

This was my first three days off work since january so was really looking forward to a short break. . we arrived at 1.15pm check in wasn’t until 2pm so were directed to the club house to get a drink while waiting. I was told they would call when the van was ready. Unfortunately I had no phone reception so headed back to check in at 2pm. I was told we could have the keys but the final checks had yet to be completed so someone will pop round to check everything ok. The directions to our van were good and we found our van easily. Upon entering our van we discovered it was more than the final checks that needed doing. The van was lovely apart from being very cold with no electricity let alone the bedding. It did take a while for the cold dampness to go, after the van laying empty all winter. . after a couple of hours the ladies came and made up the beds, they were really lovely and friendly and apologized the beds were not made up on our arrival. We felt so sorry for them it really was not their fault, they dressed the rooms so quickly. The management really needs to sort these things out, they know when guests are arriving and should make sure they have enough staff to do turnaround. Although seeing as the first week of season there really was no excuse. . . even after a wobbly start we unpacked and got ready for our first evening in the club house. One of the reasons we booked foxhunter was because of the evening entertainment. . good friday was a duo. Saturday a grease tribute act. Sunday freddie mercury tribute. . . we got ready and headed out. As we arrived it was the end of the children’s entertainment. It was lovely to see all the children having fun. Straight after they did the bingo. I thought this a little strange as they had just had the children running and dancing around then expected them to be quiet for bingo when they were still excited from their dancing. Normally bingo happens before the children’s evening bit? after the bingo the duo came on around 9.45pm. We were all looking forward to it unfortunately we were not able to enjoy. Don’t get me wrong the singers were great it’s just the children were shouting some screaming they were shooting the singers with toy guns and chucking balls at them. I had a soft toy thrown at my head twice and came very close to twisting or breaking my ankle on the balls being kicked and thrown. We decided to leave as it was more of a children’s playground than the adults evening entertainment we expected. It was around 11.15pm by this stage. . . the following evening we decided to go to a pub in the next village to watch a singer we had a wonderful time. We popped into the club about 11pm/11.30pm there weren’t as many children but unfortunately we missed the grease tribute we were so looking forward to. We had even decided to enter into the spirit of things and bring some bits to wear for the grease evening. . . the sunday night we popped in for the. Freddie mercury tribute but unfortunately he started a lot earlier than expected so we only caught his last 4 songs. Although we couldn’t have danced and enjoyed it as there were too many children playing and one child around 5 years was so sleepy she had fallen asleep in the middle of the dance floor! good job no one was dancing as she could have been hurt! . . I work 6/7 days a week and was really looking forward to a few relaxing days off. Don’t get me wrong the staff were friendly and did their best. The security guards of which there were many did try but it’s the managements policy to allow children to run around uncontrollably until midnight. . . we visited deal castle which was very enjoyable as was our walk around ramsgate and along the beach in margate. . . our caravan was great once it had warmed up and the staff friendly. Unfortunately they do only seam to cater for children. So we will not be returning.
Sonja from Essex (02 April 2018)

I had high expectations due to it being "5 star" and the photos on website seemed good. . however I was disappointed from the start we arrived early around 1:30pm check in wasn't until 4pm we were told we would get a call to let us know our caravan was ready however we received no call. We went to the desk at 4pm and the keys were ready. Waiting. Finally checked in no communication with reception staff when finally checking in explaining where all the facilities are etc. . we were settling in and 2 men came to check the boiler why couldnt this have been checked before? . . dog hairs in the caravan which was a non pet accommodation!. . due to poor wet weather all weekend we went to the local town and bought a few dvds as we knew we'd be stuck in, when we tried playing them there was an issue with the dvd player. I called kelly in reception @ 4:40pm simply asking for a replacement, I then waited over 1 hour with nothing on tv bored out of our minds so I decided to call to see how long they would be.. only to find out reception had closed for the day! they had forgotten about us!?. I had to chase them the next day for this to finally be fixed as we were forgotten about. Knocking on reception @ 9am which was closed only for a cleaner lady to say she will sort it as reception opens at 10am.. we got back from our day out at 6pm to a blaring tv that had been left on all morning which could have caught fire!!. . the entertainment area is ridiculously small ! the pictures are carefully taken on the website to try and get as much space as possible. There are very little seats and everyone is treading on each other fighting to get chairs. We had people spilling drinks on us trying to squeeze past to the bar or toilet we felt so un-comfortable we decided to go back to the caravan after a while and did not go back to the entertainment for the rest of our stay which is sad because this is the reason why we book holiday parks we have been to around 20 in the past 3 years. . we gave max in management plenty of chances to sort out these issues but he does not seem to want to help which I don't think the owners would be too happy to hear as they were very nice people. . I don't think anyone should have to be put through the same experience all they care about is the money they obviously don't want returning customers or recommendations. As a result we will not be returning nor recomeding to friends and family.
Deborah from Surrey (02 April 2018)

We spent a lovely easter weekend at foxhunter park. location is very pretty, caravan clean and spacious. we would definitely recommend a stay.
Julie from Birmingham (02 April 2018)

Great staff
Shaun (20 November 2017)

Beautifully maintained site and the caravan well stocked with crockery and utensils, however, the carpet could have done with a clean and behind the sofa there was a lots of mess; sweet wrappers, lolly sticks etc. The toilet roll holder in one of the bathrooms kept falling off.
Kent (30 October 2017)

Fairly easy to find and first impression was it looked clean but was very congested and not much space between caravans. Palm trees lined the roadways so to have a mediterranean feel according to the staff. Really did look out of place for us but could see what they were trying to do. . . there is a club house on site with private membership + security guards at the entrance which we found quite strange since the park is in a very quiet and remote location. . young children roaming around outside the clubhouse at 11pm speaks for itself. . the site is quite a long way from any decent supermarket and the local area traffic can be a problem if you pick the wrong time to leave!! . the park itself outside was very tidy and well maintained so much so that we were woken up by the sound of a lawnmower at 9am. Really not great if you are on holiday in half term. The week was ok but we came away not really feeling that we had been on holiday.
Colin from Ash Vale (28 October 2017)

Really enjoyed it
Nikki from Grimsby (27 October 2017)

Could have done with clean lots of left over junk
Gerald (16 October 2017)

Really lovely apart from we came out of season and nothing was open even the white stag village pub was closed but hey minster was open.
Pamela from Leeds (13 October 2017)

A nice and very beautiful holiday park. Helpfull staff! excellently decorated accommodation and very clean.
Anton from Zwoll Nl (09 October 2017)

We enjoyed the park, setting and location so much we extended our stay there. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, approachable and helpful. The caravan itself offered everything we required, was exceptionally clean and the grounds were fastidiously maintained.
Karen (04 October 2017)

Caravan wasn't very clean and was disappointed with no towels or cleaning cloth
Shane (02 October 2017)

Our holiday was fantastic and all of the staff were so helpful the only thing wrong was the pool not being open we had a group of familys with a total of 13 children it was a lovely weekend but not allowed to use the pool we separately asked why and was told it was the chemical that was so disappointing for the children.
Pauline (02 October 2017)

A most enjoyable holiday, we will return but earlier in the season.
Jean from Lightwater (02 October 2017)

Park is missing a trick with no fascilities for owners & dogs to use the bar & restaurant not even able to sit outside and get a drink with the dogs . . would return park great location to the kent coast .
Paula from Kent (02 October 2017)

Fantastic caravan. highly recommend restaurant.
Debbie from Gravesend (02 October 2017)

Only the two of us so caravan used as base, didn't use facilities. The pool etc. Looked good and would use if with our family.
Elspeth from Hertfordshire (29 September 2017)

Our holiday was booked as our honeymoon via a different website back in july. On arrival at the park we was told that nothing was open - bar, restaurant, kids facilities, etc. This was very disappointing as we was taking our 2 & 1/2 year old with us. There was no mention of this on the other website and only when we looked on the foxhunter website when we arrived, did it mention about opening hours of facilities. This was again very disappointing and was a sour end to what had been a fantastic few days.
Andy from Milton Keynes (29 September 2017)

Grateful please to stay loved it
Matthew from Canterbury (25 September 2017)

Excellent park, great staff and good facilities
Richard from London (23 September 2017)

Disappointed that there was no restaurant or fasility open for the mon-fri we were there
Rodger (22 September 2017)

Very nice caravan I agree with a previous review that a coffee table is needed I can't comment on the restaurant or entertainment as we went out of season so it was all closed. The park itself was very clean and the pool area looked very nice the lady in reception was very pleasant and helpful we will be booking again
Jacky (22 September 2017)

We had a very spacious and well equipped caravan. Very clean and comfortable.
Elizabeth from Towcester (22 September 2017)

Loved our break could do with shop on site local shops about a mile away
Jackie from Bromley (18 September 2017)

Very pleasantly surprised to find such a luxurious and upmarket 'caravan' site - it's hardly that but a classy holiday park. We loved it and on top of the fabulous park, the isle of thanet has so much to offer within very short distances. Even the weather was amazing.
Sylvia from Worcester (18 September 2017)

Fantastic site is a picture and upkeep great . caravan comfortable and all staff very friendly and helpful
Caroline from Kettering (16 September 2017)

Beautiful ! peaceful ! relaxing !
Adam from Cannock (16 September 2017)

Prices in restaurant too expensive.
David from Chatham (15 September 2017)

The staff was very helpful
Christine from Rainham Essex (15 September 2017)

Wonderful pool, very friendly helpful staff, lovely clean & modern caravan. Our new favourite holiday park I think.
Lizzy from Worthing (04 September 2017)

Our holiday weather was very good so we were able to take advantage of the swimming pool. If the weather had not been so good the children would have struggled to find things to do during the day
Alan from Braintree (04 September 2017)

Had a really lovely week - better than expected. as a 5 star - a gym would be a good facility.
Susan from Rochester (02 September 2017)

Love the pool, would like a bigger shop on site, clubhouse could be bigger. Otherwise love the place!
Anne from Margate (02 September 2017)

Filthy caravan on arrival. Lacklustre staff offered to arrange for cleaning to be done four days into our holiday!
Hayley (01 September 2017)

On the outside the place seems very good however..... dog friendly ? not really, you are restricted to where you can take your best friend! I understand there has to be areas but you want a drink? no where to sit outside unless its near the pool! games room is shocking, out of date and very worn machines ect! pool is good and the kids will enjoy!. . restaurant is ok but you may have to wait, also stay away from the cocktails as the bar staff are clueless and they are bad drinks!. . would we go back no, far better places for the same price, surrounding area thou is great!
John from Derby (01 September 2017)

The caravan was lovely with everything we could ask for. Unfortunately the site was in the middle of nowhere which meant constantly having to use the car. The swimming pool was more a play pool for children with the slide and inflatables. The country walk round the field was a bit of a dumping ground unfortunately. We used the on site restaurant and only once got the meal we requested the rest of the time the meal itself was sold out or at least parts of it were missing, very disappointing.
Sally from Thetford, Norfolk (01 September 2017)

Extremely well kept grounds. Excellent cleaners re the vans. Could do with better facilities for dsabled children.
Ann from Worcester Park, Surrey (26 August 2017)

A very well presented site, clean and well managed and maintained. Good for children. Well kept pool. Didn't use the restaurant or club so unable to comment. Would definitely go back.
Barbara from Croydon (25 August 2017)

Disappointed when two adult women and a five year old boy were allocated a double bed and bunk beds, my daughter had to sleep on the floor. Upset when the toilet seat that had come off the pan was not fixed back on when we returned after a day out. I became maintenance man and did it myself. On the plus side the site was very clean and the staff friendly. Good location for beach, parks and cities. The wifi and television reception was pretty poor but I guess being in the middle of farming land doesn't help.
Susan from Rochester (25 August 2017)

Brand new caravan, clean and well kept site. All the staff were very helpful. Will begoing back
Paul from Worthing (25 August 2017)

Our caravan was under a massive tree, we had no sun and the surrounding patio was covered in leaves and dirt. The caravan was lovely altho very dusty.
Carol from London (25 August 2017)

When we checked into our caravan we were very unhappy with it. We went to reception and were told the site was full so had to stay in the caravan. Max the manager was unhelpful and arrogant. We then complained about the lack of cleanliness and nothing was done about it. No one came throughout the stay to put right things that were wrong. We couldn't use the oven, the trays were too small for the oven, the oven door handle was missing and the kitchen was filthy. We saw max about the park, he knew we were unhappy but didn't once acknowledge us or try to put anything right. Before this visit we really liked this site and had visited a few times. We will now never come back and will not be recommending it to anyone.
Tracey from Romford, Essex (21 August 2017)

Beautiful park and surroundings. Accommodation was outstanding and we will definately be staying again. It would have been helpful to have a small shop, even just with the basics such as milk..but shops are a short drive away so not really a hardship if you plan ahead. Can't fault the park in any way we had a wonderful stay. The park was recommended to us and we will definitely recommend it to others.
Joanne (21 August 2017)

Kent is a great place to stay. We liked the warm welcome we received. Caravan was neat and spacey. Swimming pool and tennis court fine.
Peter from Eindhoven (19 August 2017)

Was placed in a very busy area. Workmen very noisy early morning even left tractor running outside caravan at 8am
Neil (19 August 2017)

We had a great time all the family enjoyed
Nick (14 August 2017)

Fabulous park. Fabulous caravan. Fabulous staff. an extremely well kept park with great facilities which were also well maintained. The caravan, although a little short on storage, was like new with crisp white linen and all the equipment we needed. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. The pool is a fantastic feature and was used rain or shine. Family fun in the evening without being deafening for those in caravans close by. The little tuck shop/amusements are adequate as the village shop isn't too far by car. The park is in a great location as there is lots to do and see within a 30 min radius.
Kristy from Grimsby (14 August 2017)

Park was clean and well kept so was the caravan . ideal for grandson who we took on holiday but nothing for us as everywhere was full of kids even the club till late. We had a caravan opposite the pool and club we had constant noise from kids running round the caravan whilst parents in club. Noise as people left club at 12 o'clock and 2am at weekends.not for us a typical holiday camp experience not 5 star might be better out of school holidays.couldn't use pool full of kids service for food was slow, due to lack of . staff never saw managment helping when needed, unable to get a coffee for three days
Hazel from Mansfield Woodhouse Notts (12 August 2017)

Fantastic time. One of the best weeks in a caravan we've ever had.
Gillian from York (12 August 2017)

I think the outdoor pool could be bigger for the amount of children there in august. Also there is not enough seating in the club house. this year the caravan I hired had the playground behind us, which was great but not in the evening as there was groups of teenagers in the park late at night when my children were trying to sleep.
Janice (11 August 2017)

Excellent park, park, pool, and restaurant all friendly happy staff.
Jane from Banstead, Surrey (07 August 2017)

Lovely clean caravan staff friendly and helpful would be nice to have more for the children to do
Scott from Romford (04 August 2017)

We had a wonderful few days away staying in the quex caravan which was lovely
Louise from Cliffe Woods Rochester (04 August 2017)

Lovely welcome to a well laid out clean park. Someoverly extra touches compared to other similar holidays like beds made up,complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities.
Jennifer from Midlands (04 August 2017)

Over hanging branches caused very noisy night times as it was very windy. We were giving instructions as to how to arrive at our caravan - we were. Send down a road with a terrible bump which grounded our car!. caravan was in need of overhaul - couldn't hang drier out of window due to. Over grown shrub, steps into caravan very unstable, some utensils were old. - cheese grater broken - handle to grill missing. Carpet from kitchen to living room was not secure and a real trip hazard. We did request a repair - came 2 days after our arrival - but no response to. Overhanging branches.
Lynda from East Grinstead (04 August 2017)

We had a good time. It did rain quite a lot so we couldn't use the outside swimming pool. we arrived early but the helpful staff let us in the caravan straight away. The caravan was very nicely kept, nice and clean everything you would need apart from towels and tea towels. (which we were told about). the only negative was the first nights sleep. There is a tree hanging over the caravan that we were in and it was very windy and the branches were banging into the caravan. I went to sleep on the sofa where the noise wasn't so bad. There was also a load of teenagers making a racket at about 12:30. The security did come along and they stopped. Apart from that first nights sleep I couldn't fault the caravan park.
Warren from Harwich/Essex (31 July 2017)

Best holiday we have ever had. Been here two years in a row. Love it
Tiffany from Bearsted,Maidstone,Kent (31 July 2017)

We were very disappointed, the address said ramsgate, but it was 20 minutes away by car, the food prices were very high, the caravan was under trees that banged on the roof all night, things were missing from the van, the staff was told off this on our first day there, they still had not arrived when we left
Susan from Great Yarmouth (31 July 2017)

Loved every minute. Everyone was so cheerful and helpful.
Catherine from Chelmsford (31 July 2017)

Was an excellent park, very clean and well maintained. . a little shop on site for newspapers would have been nice, the clubhouse was lovely and swimming pool excellent.
Andy from Cirencester (29 July 2017)

A lovely stay. Caravan was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
Alun (29 July 2017)

We had a lovely break at fox hunter park, the location is great to explore kent and we used it as a cheap base. The caravan was clean only slightly marred by squeaky doors and too thick bedding for summer. The caravans are packed in with very little space or privacy but was what we expected for the price. We loved the area and would return.
Lorna (28 July 2017)

No enough activities for children and no shop.
Patricia from Upminster (28 July 2017)

My family and I have stayed at the fox hunter twice now and we love it. Staff are great , facilities are great, caravan was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.swimming pool was good and the toddler pool was a life saver for me as I have young children. We had a brilliant week away.
Tiffany from Bearsted,Maidstone , Kent (28 July 2017)

Lovely caravan, great facilities and very helpful staff.
Sandra from Dartford (24 July 2017)

We had a great time! people were very friendly and helpfull.
Kevin from Breda (22 July 2017)

The surroundings and staff very helpful very good value for money. The restaurant and bar well stocked and prices good.
Bryan from Dartford (21 July 2017)

Beautiful surroundings, lovely caravan, complimentary items were a lovely surprise, weren't aware of any evening entertainment though. But staff were very nice.
Claire from Crayford (21 July 2017)

Could be better . cafe had to wait a long time no shop.
Jean from Stanford-Le-Hope (17 July 2017)

Very nice
Gerard from Bleiswijk Holland (15 July 2017)

Very good everything was there we needed . great site all round
Paul from Hailsham Esussex (14 July 2017)

No staff communications, no wifi connection and no shops handy
Fatemeh from London (14 July 2017)

We enjoyed our holiday the park was nicely laid out, lovely pool alongside the bar and the bird aviary, but the downside was we reported at reception 3 times some items missing from the inventory inc. Dvd (which was not built within the tv) but also safety hazard that the cover in the bathroom light was missing with wires exposed.
Glenys from Bristol (08 July 2017)

The down fall of this place is the lack of a shop. . needed medical supplies ended up having to go about 5 miles up the road to get them. where you could normal get it from the shop. . . the reason that's was bad because the only driver is the person that was ill. . . but absolutely love the site. clean and very tidy. . grass seems to be cut every day.
Peter from March (08 July 2017)

Lovely site , great facilities, our caravan a little disappointing, small, but clean, not up to standard of the site.
Wayne (03 July 2017)

Love it at foxhunter that was my second visit! we will be back next year!
Michelle from Sevenoaks (03 July 2017)

Fantastic caravan fantastic staff amazing
Alison from Doha (30 June 2017)

The only other slight criticism is that the foxhunter brochure is a bit confusing. Our stay, from 17 june is classed as high season, yet not everything is provided as if if it were (restaurant, entertainment). I do appreciate that I didn't pay the really high season price, but if you relied on the brochure you'd expect everything.
Kathy from London (24 June 2017)

Poor location, no site shop, site restaurant noisy and shower in caravan very dirty.
Robert from Derby (24 June 2017)

We stayed at foxhunter park on a 4 night mid week break from mon 19 june 17. We were in the quex caravan ( no lm 22 ). on entering the park it looks very smart and impressive. The caravan was very modern and very well equipped. Very pleased with the caravan, but the outside area was poor. There was a stagnant stream behind the caravan - it was a very hot week so it was unpleasant to look at. Also, the garden furniture included in the holiday was a dirty, chipped picnic bench covered in bird droppings. When commenting at reception , we were given 2 chairs to use . . foxhunter park has no on site shop, the nearest shops are a good 10 minutes away by car. You need a car to stay at this site. Also , there was no evening meals available mid week mid season. When we commented about this on trip advisor, the park manager said that there were evening meals !. we had a caravan at the back of the park which was not as smart as the rest of the park ( not the cheapest caravan price ) and felt that we had been "short changed.". when other trip advisors had made the same comment-the park manager said that with hoseasons you can chose your caravan from the parks plan ?. I have used hoseasons many times and have never had the option to chose our caravan from a map . is this correct ?. if it isnt perhaps you should inform foxhunter park !.
Julia from Norwich (23 June 2017)

Had a great caravan experience in beautiful monkton
Divya from Dartford (19 June 2017)

The park was lovely and the grounds kept beautifully! the caravan upgrade was amazing, and the kids loved the pool! was disappointed with the adventure park not enough for younger children. The onsite restaurant was awful which meant I had to cook a lot, the food was poor and took hours to arrive it really let the park down!
Lisa from Medway (19 June 2017)

Although the site was well kept and pleasant there was no shop where newspapers or essentials like milk could be bought which we found inconvenient. Also drinks in the bar were far too expensive at £10 for one beer and a small glass of wine.
David from Basingstoke (10 June 2017)

Great four days. Will look to stay for a weekend to see entertainment. any special offers please advise.
Jeanette from Dartford (02 June 2017)

Fab holiday park. One of the best we have been too. Drinks are a bit pricey but food was good. Due to its location it could benefit from an onsite shop esp for those who don't want to go off site. Overall a fantastic holiday had by us all and we are definitely going back
Sandie from Gosport (02 June 2017)

Caravan that we stayed in was a bit dated compared to the others, and had a few problems but the kids enjoyed it which is all that matters.. could do with a little shop on site.
Tony from Beckenham (29 May 2017)

Some form of club entertainment in off peak times would have been nice.
Terence from Bury St Edmunds (29 May 2017)

Fantastic holiday, couldn't fault a thing
Pamela from Ireland (29 May 2017)

Amazing place
Diane (29 May 2017)

Lovley site enjoyed sitting around pool.
Sandra from Oxford (26 May 2017)

We stayed in a lodge in the willow brook part of foxhunter park and that part was lovely, the rest of the park, which we drove through to get in/out looked a little more cramped and might be noisy at busy times. we had a few minor issues with the lodge which the staff sorted for us immediately but they twice gave us the wrong password to log onto wifi and we had to sort this for ourselves (turned out to be the code on the wifi modem in the lodge rather than the code being given to us by staff). we were a little surprised that the restaurant wasn't open during our stay as it only opens during peak times or fri-sun out of peak which we didn't pick up on when booking. all in all though we really enjoyed our stay and the park is in a lovely part of the country.
John from St Neots (19 May 2017)

Enjoyed this well kept park.
Wendy from Bottesford Leicestershire. (08 May 2017)

We all had a fantastic time. the only disappointing thing was that although we specifically ordered the children's meal first (18.40) so that they could go to the disco (19.30), we did not receive their meal until 19.25. it did mean that they missed quite a lot of it!. . we come to foxhunter every year as we have family in the residential part. we love the location and entertainment.
Trudi from East Bridgford (01 May 2017)

We had a great short break at foxhunter park. It was helped by some lovely sunny weather which meant the pool area looked like something from the mediterranean. The manston caravan was small as expected but clean and well maintained with everything you need (except towels). the grounds were established and attractive although there were quite a few empty plots around waiting to be filled. Looks like they have high standards as I was told by another guest that caravans are culled if they are too old. A lot of the guests appeared to be owners. The clubhouse facilities were as good as you could want. Nicely furnished space with good bar, restaurant and an adjoining outside pool area. The food was decent but not much choice if you didn't like chips with your meal. Didn't see much of the evening entertainment but the kids enjoyed their crazy hour after dinner. Bingo was very popular with big prize money. The site is well located for the kent coast and you can get to whitstable, margate, broadstairs and ramsgate in no time at all for day trips. Would definitely go again.
Daryl from London (01 May 2017)

I've been holidaying at the foxhunter for well over twenty years, and I keep coming back..love the park, love the tranquillity (i choose term-time so it's quiet), love the area. this year I had a nearly-new van, which was beautiful. only slight gripe is that owners tend to use your parking-space for their second/third/fourth car if they think there won't be an occupant that week, so you quite often need to get them to move before you can unload.
Kate from Teignmouth (29 April 2017)

Lovely easter break very reasonable. We stayed in the manston caravan which was a brand new caravan which had never been used, but the living room area was too small and sofa was uncomfortable. . main bedroom was quite cosy. Ok for family of 3 but no larger.
Louise from Kent (17 April 2017)

Very clean and modern park not much to do for teenagers . it's far away from anywhere so u do have to drive if u wanted to go out of park as not much to do there . drinks were expensive but food is really nice . no shop at park we walked miles to find local co-op
Claire from Essex (17 April 2017)

We have stayed at the park many times and have been coming there for over 15 years we always have a wonderful time and the owners of the park and staff are lovely and welcoming
Jane from Crayford (17 April 2017)

We had a lovely week. On arrival we were late.staff were very helpful. Unfortunately we were given the keys of a caravan that was already occupied. Staff were helpful and very accommodating while it was sorted out. The manager however was less than helpful. We were told that we could eat free in the restaurant all week which we were very impressed with. We didn't take advantage of this however. We ate on the wednesday and decided to eat again on the thursday to be told by the rather unhelpful bar manager that this was not the case.we could only have one free meal. The manager then came over and retracted what he had said both to us and to the night security person that we spoke with on arrival. After being embarrassed and humiliated in front of other diners I insisted that we would pay despite his reluctant offer that we could eat free. A very disappointing end to what we thought was a very impressive and welcoming environment.
Julia from Redditch (14 April 2017)

Another fantastic holiday at what is, in my opinion, the best holiday park. Amazing site, brilliant accommodation and facilities. Staff go that extra mile to make your stay one to remember.
Leigh from London (10 April 2017)

Clean and comfortable accommodation, in nice well-kept surroundings. we had a mid-week break (mon-fri) so there were no facilities open, including no eat-in places.
John from Chelmsford (07 October 2016)

Fantastic park, really well kept. Our skyline caravan was perfect best one we've ever had. We are looking to go again in november. Highly recommended
Terry from Bexhill (30 September 2016)

The nicest site i've ever stayed at. the grounds are lovely a really nice place to go if you are looking for a relaxing break. we brought our dog with us and she loved the area too as there was plenty of places to walk. you do need to have a car really and then you can easily get to most places. I would certainly go again. The caravan had everything we needed was really well equipped, and wifi was available and whats more it was reliable. . great break
Godfrey (26 September 2016)

Luxury caravan park, quiet, peaceful and perfect.
Rebecca from London (26 September 2016)

We had a lovely few days. The whole site was immaculate. no on site shop was the one thing that let it down.
Derek from Salisbury (26 September 2016)

Site very nice in most parts our pitch could have been better it was under trees making it dark at rear also was too near play area ok in october not so good in summer speed hump opposite parking space making it awkward to park . . caravan was good with everything in good condition . site not as near to coast as. Imfomation says it is otherwise it is in a good position to get to all sites of interest in area overall ok
Marian from Essex (24 September 2016)

This park is in a very good location for exploring eastern kent. . lots to visit in a short car journey.
Donald from Lincoln (17 September 2016)

This campsite is beautifully kept. Unfortunately, as we didn't read the small print, there was no onsite shop or entertainment (which is why we booked) the caravan was only 10ft wide so not enough room for my size 7 feet to fit between the bed and the wall! you get what you pay for I suppose.
Valerie from London (09 September 2016)

What a gem of a park . absolutely lovely . only rated the facilities lower than rest because we went at the end of summer season and some were closed. Loved this park , clean , spotless caravan. Can't fault anything , we had a lovely week
Mandy from Ely Cambridgeshire (09 September 2016)

Excellent resort, however not happy with the confusion over parking, seems ridiculous that you have to park behind the caravan, when your door is in the front, especially when children are out playing.
Ray from Worcester Park, Surrey (09 September 2016)

All you could hear was the swishing of the tall tree's like a lullaby..i kept drifting off too sleep..just what I needed. . deliberately booked during school term so we could have some peace and quiet. . the accommodation and site were beautifully kept, the facilities fab and location great for mooching along seafront's. .. . the menu in the bistro was a bit standard and quite pricey but who cares when you can shop and cook in your caravan..
Chrissy from Se London (09 September 2016)

We loved staying at fox hunter. Great location and lots to do. Only gripe would be no shop on site, otherwise very pleased with our stay.
Vicky from Whitton (03 September 2016)

It was a nice park and well kept but the caravans seemed so close together compared to other parks which made the designated parking and driving in and out tricky. Unfortunately we were staying opposite a family who owned the caravan who were not the best neighbours to say the least! lots of shouting and constantly swearing which is not what I want my young children to be listening to. Also let their dog off lead resulting in it jumping all over our dog and walking into our caravan. As much as the park was nice, unfortunately they ruined it for us
Heidi from Kent (02 September 2016)

We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights with 2 of our grandchildren. It was a good base to go out to visit the coastal areas and inland places of interest. We especially liked quex park and the pool at foxhunter. The lifeguard was very good and attentive, the children liked the pool bubble. The weather helped to make the break a good experience.
Michael from Monkton (02 September 2016)

We had a nice time ,loved the bingo!!!!very good we all enjoyed it!!!. what do you do at christmas please can you sent some info davesaab@yahoo.co.uk many thanks dave
Dave (29 August 2016)

This is the second time we have stayed. This time it was in the height of season so a lot busier than last time. It was hard to get seating by the pool but did get eventually. We like the idea of owning our own caravan on the site so looked at some caravans for sale. There was one more we wanted to see but there was some communication issues so couldn't get to see it. Maybe next time we come we will be able to see it.
Tracey from Romford (29 August 2016)

We love it here and will definitely be back.
Nicola from Sevenoaks (29 August 2016)

Would definitely return
Sandra (12 August 2016)

Lovely swimming pool and club house food was great . we would definettly stay again caravan park kept lovely and clean caravan also very clean.
Ann from Kent (12 August 2016)

This is the best of many such parks I have stayed at with my (now teenage) daughter over the last 10 years or so. The site is beautifully maintained in tranquil surroundings, with excellent facilities such as an outdoor heated pool which really is heated, a comfortable bar area and a good value bistro style restaurant serving tasty food. The staff throughout are friendly and professional in everything they do.
Keith from Chelmsford (12 August 2016)

We enjoyed it. Clean n comfortable. a few things didn't work i've oven and grill however w never reported them. louis waiter/ bar was superb. a great front of house experience. As was the lifeguard. food was nice, sadly always better eating in rather than taking to caravan. towels on sun beds didn't annoy us but was an issue
Jude from London (08 August 2016)

Nice stay at the foxhunter park. 15 to 20 mins from ramsgate, margate & broadstairs . nice pub just 5 mins walk from the park &. the caravan we stayed in was right next to the children's park & we were woken most mornings at about 7.30 by the sound of a squeaky see saw & the children shouting.
Gillian from Newbridge (06 August 2016)

Brilliant week
Linda from Bradford (05 August 2016)

Lovely park . caravan was clean . pool was great kids loved it x
Jane from Chatham (05 August 2016)

Garage
Sherry from Lancashire (30 July 2016)

Love foxhunters. We have had 3 family holidays and hope to go back next year. Winning bingo made it even better!
Catherine from Crawley (30 July 2016)

Had a really lovely holiday. the staff were really helpful. would certainly go back again.
Sylvia from Barking (23 July 2016)

Everyone we met, both staff and other caravans, were very friendly. We had a slight problem, reported it,sorted. Nothing seems to be a problem. The park was kept in an immaculate condition and my wife and I both said that we would make another visit
James from Harlow (18 July 2016)

As soon as we arrived the security guard was so helpful and so friendly with my dog, the caravan was 10 out of 10 and the whole park was clean and tidy I was so impressed and I really enjoyed my stay there, the only down side was there was no shop on site
David from Dagenham (15 July 2016)

Nice holiday, but for us the bedrooms were to small en there wereno coffee or thee facilities, and as the holidays started ad the 1. Of juliy in our country the pool was were cold nor heating. Otherwise evertything was fine, next time a larger mobilhome
Robert from Monkton (15 July 2016)

Great place will be back
Jamie from Epping (11 July 2016)

The staff are very friendly, but bar prices are quite expensive. The meal we had in the restaurant was good. The site would benefit from a small shop for essentials, the nearest shop is over a mile away
Maureen from Banbury (09 July 2016)

There was no entertainment at all during our stay which was disappionting. There seemed to be only one staff operating the bar and restaurant and I booked my mums 80th meal ( we had 2 caravans) for 12 people so they expected us! the football was on and one staff member was trying to deal with the bar and restaurant! we had a standard caravan and a canterbury one.
Louise from Rochford (08 July 2016)

It was lovely. Quiet. Tidy and still friendly staff which is unusual outside of school holidays. . . just could use a shop.
Derek from Croydon (08 July 2016)

We found foxhunter park to be well maintained and clean and tidy all around. However facilities were somewhat limited with the swimming pool only being heated at week ends so had to hope for warm weather during week. With no shop on site, the nearest nisa was 2 miles up the road in minster, where there was also a 'chippy' for those that want a plate of fish and chips. Overall, apart from access to routes to surrounding areas, the site was lacking a few essentials.
Dave from Corby (04 July 2016)

This holiday park is in the middle of nowhere the park is very clean and tidy you have to take all your food with you because nowhere to shop we booked for a week but could only stay for two days as the shower leaked and all you could hear all night was dripping water because the shower was next to bedroom the maintenance man said it would take a week to fix if you want a slow quiet holiday this is fine other wise find somewhere else just make sure you check your shower
Elizabeth from Chatham (02 July 2016)

Caravan was nice clean and modern we upgraded though. Was disappointed that the pool wasn't heated as it said it was and would of been nice to use but we didn't get to use it because of this no indoor pool either no entertainment no on site shop . the surroundings and village of monkton was nice. The site itself was kept nice just really lacks on site facilities and entertainment through the week .
Natasha from Yeovil (01 July 2016)

Had to change caravan as the one we had booked was not fit to stay in, had to spend first night in it, would have gone home if manager had not change van, he was very helpful,
Barry from Evesham (24 June 2016)

There were no tea towels provided although they were promised. It was difficult to get towels dry as there was no towel air drier. The caravan was clean and plenty of space for our party. We wanted to eat in the clubhouse but were put off by the children's entertainment. In any case there was no staff to welcome us. There were only 2 bar staff on duty saturday evening.
Christine from Enfield (20 June 2016)

Over priced.beautiful grounds.bu not much to do there.as outdoor pool only heated weekends.entertinment only on weekend!! bascally nothing to do in the week.not great for children under 4.but lovely grounds
Sonya (17 June 2016)

The park was extremely well kept, but our lodge accommodation was well below standard.
Linda from Buntingford (17 June 2016)

Great location, nice site.
Cheryl from Nottinghamshire (17 June 2016)

Nice place but work men start work at 7 am and beds uncomfortable
Linda from Old Colwyn (13 June 2016)

The holiday was really good. The caravan was exceptional very clean and very well equipped
Garry from London (13 June 2016)

On our arrival we were greeted by a nice security guard not by a member of the reception staff . it wasa nice caravan and in a quiet position. However, on our arrival, we noticed that we had no hot water available in the caravan plus the hot water pressure was very low. we did mention this in the reception but no name or caravan number was noted or asked hence nothing was done to rectified the problem. We managed doing the old method- boiling a kettle to wash the dishes. . also on leaving on the saturday earlier ie.7.40m which was much earlier than the departure time stated, we were going to post the caravan key through their reception letterbox, like previous holidays years ago, only to find to our horror, that the letterbox was fastened down with two screws. There was a locked postbox on the wall next to the reception door and morning newspaper's had to be pushed between the door and the door handle. thank goodness, 5 minutes later, whilst we were pondering what on earth to do, a member of the kitchen staff who prepares breakfasts (who actually came earlier that morning he explained to us) kindly took the key off us and would hand it to the reception later on. . at the end of our enjoyable week's holiday visiting the surrounding places of interest, the peaceful and quietness location of the caravan on the site also the beautiful weather, the episode with the hot water problem and then the depositing of the caravan key that morning as well - this took the edge of the "5 star caravan park in kent" even though the tourist board gives it to them.
Dorothy (11 June 2016)

We was really looking forward to our break away very disappointed that there wasn't a shop on site. When we got there the club was open so we called in for a drink before we could check in was very nice and clean staff very friendly. Caravan was lovely on monday we went out looking at the sites in surrounding area but it was very cold so decided to go back to the caravan my husband suggested we go in the club for a drink first the place was in darkness we found a member of staff and was told it didn't open again until thursday we wasn't told about this before hand if i'd known I wouldn't have booked to stay there. We actually cut our holiday short and went home on wednesday 8th instead of the 11th we would never go back there was a waste of well earned money
Tracey from Leicester (11 June 2016)

A nice secluded park very well kept, but in a remote village with no shops just one pub, sadly. The clubhouse was closed for our entire visit
Keith from Buckinghamshire (10 June 2016)
