Clean and comfortable accommodation, in nice well-kept surroundings. we had a mid-week break (mon-fri) so there were no facilities open, including no eat-in places.
John from Chelmsford (07 October 2016)

Fantastic park, really well kept. Our skyline caravan was perfect best one we've ever had. We are looking to go again in november. Highly recommended
Terry from Bexhill (30 September 2016)

The nicest site i've ever stayed at. the grounds are lovely a really nice place to go if you are looking for a relaxing break. we brought our dog with us and she loved the area too as there was plenty of places to walk. you do need to have a car really and then you can easily get to most places. I would certainly go again. The caravan had everything we needed was really well equipped, and wifi was available and whats more it was reliable. . great break
Godfrey (26 September 2016)

Luxury caravan park, quiet, peaceful and perfect.
Rebecca from London (26 September 2016)

We had a lovely few days. The whole site was immaculate. no on site shop was the one thing that let it down.
Derek from Salisbury (26 September 2016)

Site very nice in most parts our pitch could have been better it was under trees making it dark at rear also was too near play area ok in october not so good in summer speed hump opposite parking space making it awkward to park . . caravan was good with everything in good condition . site not as near to coast as. Imfomation says it is otherwise it is in a good position to get to all sites of interest in area overall ok
Marian from Essex (24 September 2016)

This park is in a very good location for exploring eastern kent. . lots to visit in a short car journey.
Donald from Lincoln (17 September 2016)

This campsite is beautifully kept. Unfortunately, as we didn't read the small print, there was no onsite shop or entertainment (which is why we booked) the caravan was only 10ft wide so not enough room for my size 7 feet to fit between the bed and the wall! you get what you pay for I suppose.
Valerie from London (09 September 2016)

What a gem of a park . absolutely lovely . only rated the facilities lower than rest because we went at the end of summer season and some were closed. Loved this park , clean , spotless caravan. Can't fault anything , we had a lovely week
Mandy from Ely Cambridgeshire (09 September 2016)

Excellent resort, however not happy with the confusion over parking, seems ridiculous that you have to park behind the caravan, when your door is in the front, especially when children are out playing.
Ray from Worcester Park, Surrey (09 September 2016)

All you could hear was the swishing of the tall tree's like a lullaby..i kept drifting off too sleep..just what I needed. . deliberately booked during school term so we could have some peace and quiet. . the accommodation and site were beautifully kept, the facilities fab and location great for mooching along seafront's. .. . the menu in the bistro was a bit standard and quite pricey but who cares when you can shop and cook in your caravan..
Chrissy from Se London (09 September 2016)

We loved staying at fox hunter. Great location and lots to do. Only gripe would be no shop on site, otherwise very pleased with our stay.
Vicky from Whitton (03 September 2016)

It was a nice park and well kept but the caravans seemed so close together compared to other parks which made the designated parking and driving in and out tricky. Unfortunately we were staying opposite a family who owned the caravan who were not the best neighbours to say the least! lots of shouting and constantly swearing which is not what I want my young children to be listening to. Also let their dog off lead resulting in it jumping all over our dog and walking into our caravan. As much as the park was nice, unfortunately they ruined it for us
Heidi from Kent (02 September 2016)

We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights with 2 of our grandchildren. It was a good base to go out to visit the coastal areas and inland places of interest. We especially liked quex park and the pool at foxhunter. The lifeguard was very good and attentive, the children liked the pool bubble. The weather helped to make the break a good experience.
Michael from Monkton (02 September 2016)

We had a nice time ,loved the bingo!!!!very good we all enjoyed it!!!. what do you do at christmas please can you sent some info davesaab@yahoo.co.uk many thanks dave
Dave (29 August 2016)

This is the second time we have stayed. This time it was in the height of season so a lot busier than last time. It was hard to get seating by the pool but did get eventually. We like the idea of owning our own caravan on the site so looked at some caravans for sale. There was one more we wanted to see but there was some communication issues so couldn't get to see it. Maybe next time we come we will be able to see it.
Tracey from Romford (29 August 2016)

We love it here and will definitely be back.
Nicola from Sevenoaks (29 August 2016)

Would definitely return
Sandra (12 August 2016)

Lovely swimming pool and club house food was great . we would definettly stay again caravan park kept lovely and clean caravan also very clean.
Ann from Kent (12 August 2016)

This is the best of many such parks I have stayed at with my (now teenage) daughter over the last 10 years or so. The site is beautifully maintained in tranquil surroundings, with excellent facilities such as an outdoor heated pool which really is heated, a comfortable bar area and a good value bistro style restaurant serving tasty food. The staff throughout are friendly and professional in everything they do.
Keith from Chelmsford (12 August 2016)

We enjoyed it. Clean n comfortable. a few things didn't work i've oven and grill however w never reported them. louis waiter/ bar was superb. a great front of house experience. As was the lifeguard. food was nice, sadly always better eating in rather than taking to caravan. towels on sun beds didn't annoy us but was an issue
Jude from London (08 August 2016)

Nice stay at the foxhunter park. 15 to 20 mins from ramsgate, margate & broadstairs . nice pub just 5 mins walk from the park &. the caravan we stayed in was right next to the children's park & we were woken most mornings at about 7.30 by the sound of a squeaky see saw & the children shouting.
Gillian from Newbridge (06 August 2016)

Brilliant week
Linda from Bradford (05 August 2016)

Lovely park . caravan was clean . pool was great kids loved it x
Jane from Chatham (05 August 2016)

Garage
Sherry from Lancashire (30 July 2016)

Love foxhunters. We have had 3 family holidays and hope to go back next year. Winning bingo made it even better!
Catherine from Crawley (30 July 2016)

Had a really lovely holiday. the staff were really helpful. would certainly go back again.
Sylvia from Barking (23 July 2016)

Everyone we met, both staff and other caravans, were very friendly. We had a slight problem, reported it,sorted. Nothing seems to be a problem. The park was kept in an immaculate condition and my wife and I both said that we would make another visit
James from Harlow (18 July 2016)

As soon as we arrived the security guard was so helpful and so friendly with my dog, the caravan was 10 out of 10 and the whole park was clean and tidy I was so impressed and I really enjoyed my stay there, the only down side was there was no shop on site
David from Dagenham (15 July 2016)

Nice holiday, but for us the bedrooms were to small en there wereno coffee or thee facilities, and as the holidays started ad the 1. Of juliy in our country the pool was were cold nor heating. Otherwise evertything was fine, next time a larger mobilhome
Robert from Monkton (15 July 2016)

Great place will be back
Jamie from Epping (11 July 2016)

The staff are very friendly, but bar prices are quite expensive. The meal we had in the restaurant was good. The site would benefit from a small shop for essentials, the nearest shop is over a mile away
Maureen from Banbury (09 July 2016)

There was no entertainment at all during our stay which was disappionting. There seemed to be only one staff operating the bar and restaurant and I booked my mums 80th meal ( we had 2 caravans) for 12 people so they expected us! the football was on and one staff member was trying to deal with the bar and restaurant! we had a standard caravan and a canterbury one.
Louise from Rochford (08 July 2016)

It was lovely. Quiet. Tidy and still friendly staff which is unusual outside of school holidays. . . just could use a shop.
Derek from Croydon (08 July 2016)

We found foxhunter park to be well maintained and clean and tidy all around. However facilities were somewhat limited with the swimming pool only being heated at week ends so had to hope for warm weather during week. With no shop on site, the nearest nisa was 2 miles up the road in minster, where there was also a 'chippy' for those that want a plate of fish and chips. Overall, apart from access to routes to surrounding areas, the site was lacking a few essentials.
Dave from Corby (04 July 2016)

This holiday park is in the middle of nowhere the park is very clean and tidy you have to take all your food with you because nowhere to shop we booked for a week but could only stay for two days as the shower leaked and all you could hear all night was dripping water because the shower was next to bedroom the maintenance man said it would take a week to fix if you want a slow quiet holiday this is fine other wise find somewhere else just make sure you check your shower
Elizabeth from Chatham (02 July 2016)

Caravan was nice clean and modern we upgraded though. Was disappointed that the pool wasn't heated as it said it was and would of been nice to use but we didn't get to use it because of this no indoor pool either no entertainment no on site shop . the surroundings and village of monkton was nice. The site itself was kept nice just really lacks on site facilities and entertainment through the week .
Natasha from Yeovil (01 July 2016)

Had to change caravan as the one we had booked was not fit to stay in, had to spend first night in it, would have gone home if manager had not change van, he was very helpful,
Barry from Evesham (24 June 2016)

There were no tea towels provided although they were promised. It was difficult to get towels dry as there was no towel air drier. The caravan was clean and plenty of space for our party. We wanted to eat in the clubhouse but were put off by the children's entertainment. In any case there was no staff to welcome us. There were only 2 bar staff on duty saturday evening.
Christine from Enfield (20 June 2016)

Over priced.beautiful grounds.bu not much to do there.as outdoor pool only heated weekends.entertinment only on weekend!! bascally nothing to do in the week.not great for children under 4.but lovely grounds
Sonya (17 June 2016)

The park was extremely well kept, but our lodge accommodation was well below standard.
Linda from Buntingford (17 June 2016)

Great location, nice site.
Cheryl from Nottinghamshire (17 June 2016)

Nice place but work men start work at 7 am and beds uncomfortable
Linda from Old Colwyn (13 June 2016)

The holiday was really good. The caravan was exceptional very clean and very well equipped
Garry from London (13 June 2016)

On our arrival we were greeted by a nice security guard not by a member of the reception staff . it wasa nice caravan and in a quiet position. However, on our arrival, we noticed that we had no hot water available in the caravan plus the hot water pressure was very low. we did mention this in the reception but no name or caravan number was noted or asked hence nothing was done to rectified the problem. We managed doing the old method- boiling a kettle to wash the dishes. . also on leaving on the saturday earlier ie.7.40m which was much earlier than the departure time stated, we were going to post the caravan key through their reception letterbox, like previous holidays years ago, only to find to our horror, that the letterbox was fastened down with two screws. There was a locked postbox on the wall next to the reception door and morning newspaper's had to be pushed between the door and the door handle. thank goodness, 5 minutes later, whilst we were pondering what on earth to do, a member of the kitchen staff who prepares breakfasts (who actually came earlier that morning he explained to us) kindly took the key off us and would hand it to the reception later on. . at the end of our enjoyable week's holiday visiting the surrounding places of interest, the peaceful and quietness location of the caravan on the site also the beautiful weather, the episode with the hot water problem and then the depositing of the caravan key that morning as well - this took the edge of the "5 star caravan park in kent" even though the tourist board gives it to them.
Dorothy (11 June 2016)

We was really looking forward to our break away very disappointed that there wasn't a shop on site. When we got there the club was open so we called in for a drink before we could check in was very nice and clean staff very friendly. Caravan was lovely on monday we went out looking at the sites in surrounding area but it was very cold so decided to go back to the caravan my husband suggested we go in the club for a drink first the place was in darkness we found a member of staff and was told it didn't open again until thursday we wasn't told about this before hand if i'd known I wouldn't have booked to stay there. We actually cut our holiday short and went home on wednesday 8th instead of the 11th we would never go back there was a waste of well earned money
Tracey from Leicester (11 June 2016)

A nice secluded park very well kept, but in a remote village with no shops just one pub, sadly. The clubhouse was closed for our entire visit
Keith from Buckinghamshire (10 June 2016)

Had a really lovely time but was made better by the lovely friendly and helpful staff. The clubhouse and pool are amasing
Andrew from Selsey Chichester (04 June 2016)

We had a lovely time on the site. We have not visited it since I was young and so much is still the same
Alison from Wokingham (04 June 2016)

Excellent holiday, my husband, my kids and I took my dad to the foxhunters park as it will be his last holiday as he's terminally ill, we had oxygen installed into the caravan him, nothing was too much trouble, all the staff were excellent and very friendly, the club was great, thank you for being part of my dads final holiday xx
Tracey from Nuneaton (04 June 2016)

The caravan was full of pet hair. The staff assured me the caravan was a 'pet free' environment.. but I swept up and have pictures that prove otherwise. Myself and my eldest son both suffer with allergies so spent the whole week with watery eyes, sneezing and blocked sinus'. the staff did provide me with a hoover on the first day but the hoover itself was in need a good clean, so did not do the job required. I was disappointed with my stay and wouldn't choose foxhunter's in the future.
Kate (04 June 2016)

Gorgeous park, beautifully laid out. Lovely staff. Entertainment aimed at younger audience, nothing really for my 11 year-old although he enjoyed the swimming pool and the amusements. Food was lovely but always lengthy waits for orders to be taken, food to be served (even when not busy) and the bill to be provided at the end of the meal. Menu very limited and fairly expensive, we didn't see any evidence of "pool snackery". most parks provide a welcome pack giving park and local information, we didn't have one when we arrived in our caravan and really could have done with one. When we had a problem with our shower we had to ask the security guard for help as the office had closed for the day, he said there wasn't a number to call for problems out of hours - really??? all mattresses in our caravan were dreadful - each contained large springs, every one of which poked through and made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. I was told mattresses couldn't be replaced and was given a double duvet to use as a topper instead - which helped a tiny bit but was really not good enough. On balance I would probably stay again, but it would be nice if the above could be considered and perhaps changes made to address the problems we experienced.
Sally from Hawkhurst (03 June 2016)

Great park would highly recommend, the caravan was excellent value and very good. Food whilst very good was slightly expensive for a holiday park.
Michael from London (03 June 2016)

We have been coming to the park for over 12 years now and always have a great time, the newley refurbished clubhouse is very modern and fresh and the staff always friendly and helpful
Jane from Crayford Kent (03 June 2016)

Caravan was lovely, the pool closed at 1800hrs not good the club wasn't open till the thursday but worst of all we left a coolbox in our van after checking out we contacted them on the friday to say, we would collect it the following week but no coolbox could be found and the service we had after complaining was terrible .
Jamie from Wales (27 May 2016)

Had a lovely stay
Jean from Monkton Kent (13 May 2016)

Lovely holiday park, would definitely recommend
Laura from Dartford (02 May 2016)

Great holiday as always
Sarah from London (02 May 2016)

Michelle from Bexleyheath (02 May 2016)

Excellent park - staff are friendly and helpful, facilities are great and restaurant serves quality food. Highly recommended!
Donna from Kent (02 May 2016)

Nice mobile homes, good location near coast and close enough to london. End of april there was not much open, but the great soccer field compensated eveything for our son.
Johan from Amsterdam (29 April 2016)

This is the second time we have visited foxhunters,it's nice and quiet the staff are really helpful. Our children love staying in a caravan and enjoyed the play area.
Christina from Billingshurst (29 April 2016)

The holiday park is well placed for looking around thanet and has most of the facilities required although coming out of season, not all were open. The caravan was excellent and had all the required facilities.
Steven from Southampton (23 April 2016)

I go to foxhunter every year for a girlie weekend with my sister-in-laws. we always have such a laugh (and quite often win the bingo) whoop whoop!!. . the staff could not be more helpful and are always so entertaining. Always ready to join in with our antics. my mother in law also comes (who is 81) and they always want her to join in and make her feel really special. we all can't wait for next year. . many thanks to everyone. . . christine (dartford)
Christine from Dartford (18 April 2016)

Unfortunately this was not ideal for us. there were not many facilities on the site. just one eating place was disappointing. we also found that all the static vans were so close together, the parking was certainly not ideal. we had our dog with us and disappointingly there were no dog walks whereas most parks we have been to had one. . also, there was no information in the van as to nearest doctors/dentists/vets etc - or local events that could have been of interest. . the van itself was clean but not the most comfortable. the staff were pleasant and helpful.
Bernard from Kent, Swanscombe (16 April 2016)

Great holiday park had a great time with the family!!
Laura from Sidcup (09 April 2016)

Beautiful park but not much entertainment for children. Too many residents and unruly teenagers.
Simon from London (08 April 2016)

We arrived with key items missing from the caravan. Staff were friendly and helpful and replaced 3 items within 3 hrs. We were given some meals for some of our party to compensate but the food selection was poor as we are vegeterian. A cup of tea after the long drive would have been welcome. Lovely setting and the pool would be welcome in the summer. Great adventure playground but not much else onsite except organised entertainment and arcades. Bring bikes/scooters but watch out for drivers who charge around.
Fiona (28 March 2016)

Quite a bizarre park. Very tightly packed caravans with even tighter parking spaces on the wrong side of the caravan!!? no on site shop for essentials
Sharon from Crawley (28 March 2016)

We have been going to foxhunter park for many years now, and always enjoy our stay there, staff are excellent and we have nothing but good to say about our experiences. Thank you.
Caroline from Bromley, Kent (03 October 2015)

Lovely site. Stayed with my 2 dogs found it excellent, very quiet in off season. I would definitely stay here again. Only downside is no supermarket nearby.
Janice from Sunderland (03 October 2015)

Had amazing time when we stay at fox hunter for a long weekend. The site was beautiful the club house was lovely and the swimming pool looked very inviting but needed to be a shade warmer. The staff were so polite and really helpful at all times. Can't wait to go back.

Parking was difficult with very tight turning space and often on the side away from the entrance to van, which can be bad when it rains. The numbering on many of the vans was either non existent or so small that you needed eyes of an eagle.
Geoffrey from Alford (19 September 2015)

A very nice park indeed - excellent layout, landscaping and clubhouse. Very well kept. To warrant a 5 star rating the site should consider an indoor pool, and an on-site shop (no local shop in village now). one slight disappointment was the fact that the clubhouse was not always open when advertised. Overall though, we were very pleased with our stay.

We had a great time, the park was nice and clean, the staff was friendly, the caravan was really nice. But next time perhaps we'll stay in a lodge, when they're ready.

Lovely clean park, excellent location and setting the only downside was the caravan owners children hung around in gangs (even though they were only young) and they thought they owned the place!!!!
Debbie from Derby (22 August 2015)

We had an excellent family holiday and would highly recommend the fo hunter site. It's extremely safe and secure for the children. We loved this park and would most definitely recommended it.

We had an excellent family holiday and would highly recommend the fo hunter site. It's extremely safe and secure for the children. We loved this park and would most definitely recommended it.
Teana from Stafford (22 August 2015)

This a lovely site close to broadstairs which is lovely but very busy.
Mary from Shropshire (15 August 2015)

Beautifully kept park, and lovely helpful staff. My 3 year old daughter was bleeding from her ear and the reception girls were fantastic with helping me. Her eardrum had burst and every time I went into the office the girls asked after her :). onto the club house - lovely food and good value , great cocktails too !!. entertainment was nice for the little ones . the pool area is fantastic , both of my children loved it especially my 11 year old son !
Verity from Manchester (15 August 2015)

Lovely caravan park well kept. Club house is new and really nice and the food was great reasonably priced. The pool was wonderful for children with life guards. . caravan was well equipped the only negative the television was really small but you don't go on holiday for that.

A very pleasant site, we were on the edge surrounded by trees and next to a stream, peaceful, good size swimming pool, would definitely go again

Great stay, the security team were excellent, one reason is that they knocked on our door at 11pm as they noticed we had left our key in the door while they were driving past.. . my only suggestion is to try to let people in before 4pm and not ask them to leave by 10am as this is then not a 7 day holiday.

We really enjoyed our week at foxhunter park. The facilities especially the clubhouse were great. We were only disappointed with the entertainment. Could have been better.
Charlotte from London (07 August 2015)

Loved our holiday. Only down side was the waiter in the restaurant on the last night. Just disappeared leaving a waitress to sort everyone making waiting times horrendous. Apart from that one person, the holiday camp gets a massive thumbs up from us. Will he going again
Martin from Gillingham (07 August 2015)

Really friendly family orientated caravan park.

The disappointing factor was the kids hour entertainer, the regular one . very limited in what he provided, and mostly it was for girls and not for boys. more thought needs to go into the provision, consisted mostly of letting them sing and dance at their behest - so much more could be done without further outlay.

Overall, we were quite pleased. Mobile home was in great shape and cleaner than i've ever seen. Staff was very friendly, park was great, playground was nice for our 1-year old. Only drawbacks are no shop on site and no indoor pool. No major issues for us, but maybe I can imagine they can be for others.

I was there with my grandchildren (6 and 8) I just wished there would have been more small play areas for the younger ones, the only one we found was too far away from the van to let them go alone. They loved the games area but at a £1 a go it got expensive and there were a couple of tantrums when I said no more. The pool is excellent with a lifeguard most of the time. There are plenty of seats around the pool and a restaurant for drinks and food. (although I would have liked takeaway coffee also). the club is good with a pleasant atmosphere but not much doing during the week. I have been taking my 7 grandchildren to foxhunter for many years, from the eldest to the two youngest this time, and overall all of them have loved it. The beaches and towns are a short drive away and a big shopping centre has been built not far away. Foxhunter is a little oasis in the countryside and not far from all amenities. All in all a good holiday for the children and adults.

Splendid location and a beautiful park my only comment is that the park would benefit from a small shop on site for the essentials.

We had a lovely time, but caravan facilities could be better, we had no washing up cloth or t towel, if I had known would of bought with me, tv well that was small, there was one toilet roll for the weekend, shower head doesn't stay up and the stairs coming into the caravan the middle support had fallen over so everytime you went up the stairs it didn't feel safe especially for the bigger person, as I said before enjoyed foxhunter park it is very nice just a few tweeks in the caravan..the main bed was very comfy
Michelle from Camber Sands East Sussex (13 July 2015)

Caravan very small and basic for the money. . it was clean, outside seating would have been good. I was told when I left I needed a more expense caravan to get this. which I was not told about when booking. But I feel. The price I paid a bench outside could be added and was more than enough for the facilities the park has to offer. The pool is very overcrowded and you are lucky to get a seat. it feels there are the owners children who think they own the place.

I have a caravan on the foxhunter park but booked this for my father to stay in. It's a high class park and kept in a beautiful condition and far better than the run of the mill places.

It's one of the best holidays. We understand that site need maintenance. But to have the water supply to the caravan turned off while you are in a shower at 9am in the morning without any warning is a joke. No wash and no hot drink!!. . the site was clean and tidy ( apart from where the work was being carried out). . they could really do with a shop on site not just a kiosk where you don't have a choice of products. The facilities was poor unless you want to drink or swim all day very limited arrange of food. Ate most evening at toby carvery about 10 minutes up the road. . but you defiantly couldn't fault the weather!! hottest week of the year!!and the little garden was beautiful with it own flamingo and aviary.

We had a great holiday at the foxhunter park -it was our first visit and we were really impressed. the only down side was the restaurant closed quite early - 9pm on the saturday and 4pm on the sunday - it would have been nice to experience dinner in the restaurant as it was beautiful. Other down side was literally that the caravan was a little small for a three bed but I guess that is nothing when everything else made up for it and we had gorgeous weather which was great!. would definitely return to foxhunter -preferably without the mother-in law! :-)
Emma from Kent (29 June 2015)

Caravans very dirty inside and out and not maintain in good condition at all. . . we stayed with our 11 month old baby and after her crawling around the caravan her legs and hands were black from poor cleaning and hygiene. I wouldn't stay there again due to the low standards of the caravan

I loved foxhunters. It was a lovely park and it was so relaxing. Kids loved the pool and the play area and the bar and restaurant were good value for money and served tasty food. I found the opening times for the restaurant a bit confusing tho, one evening I went for some food and they weren't serving til 6pm which was fine but the following week we waited til 6 and then were told we stop serving at 6?! would love to own a caravan there so we could spend weekends and holidays there. The girls made lots of friends with the regular 'weekenders' and they loved staying there.

The pool is only heated on saturdays and sundays unless its whitsun or the summer holidays. This means that if you arrive on a saturday, with check in at 1600hrs, you have only two hours that day (unrealistic due to unpacked etc) to use the pool heated, or between 1000-1800 the next day. Perhaps they could consider heating the pool for an extra day during the week? check out is at 1000hrs. . also, why doesn't the pool open until 1000hrs? I was hoping to do a few laps early in the morning. . the tennis courts are none existent too.
