Great location fantastic hot tub and peaceful
Mark (03 September 2018)

Stunning location and beautiful park.
Kathryn from Ely (27 August 2018)

Top notch everything was 10/10, definitely recommended for ultimate privacy & peace and quiet.
Martyn from Norfolk (27 August 2018)

Lovely clean well equipped lodge, friendly helpful staff, beautiful well kept surroundings.
Lynne from Norwich (24 August 2018)

We stayed in the aspen lodge, it is a well equipped and nicely decorated, comfortable lodge. we are a party of 5 adults and 1 child (2 families) so an extra bathroom would have been good but we managed. the lodge park is nicely situated and has beautiful views of the local countryside. there is a mixture of remoteness and rural community with ilkley and otley nearby for those who want to do a little 'shopping'. betty's is a treat! we had a nice meal in the local hermit inn and generally were sad to leave. if you like lodge holidays you will enjoy faweather.

This is a wonderful place to say it is such a quite and tranquil place you will love the fact you can almost totally alone. All you need is provided recommend you take more towels as you tend to get through quite a few take the time to do some walks.read the book it has all the info there. Recommend if you have trouble with the internet don't bother with what they provide 500mb and found it impossible to connect but finally paid for 1gb and it was fine after that £6.00 that for me was the only downside. If you want to get away from it all and spend it with a loved one then this is the holiday for you.
David from Kent (17 August 2018)

Having 2 small children we couldn’t face a holiday abroad so this was our first uk holiday and it was perfect. The lodge was a high standard, the staff really helpful and the location was amazing. Gorgeous views from the hot tub and an enclosed back garden to play in. Whilst the babies napped we enjoyed the hot tub and in the evenings a luxurious bath with the high quality products in the lodge. We will be booking again and next time taking full advantage of in lodge spa and beauty treatments (well I will whilstcmy husband watches the children!). we visited bolton abbey and also made use of the on site golf course. Just a lovely little break.
Pamela from Preston (13 August 2018)

Martin from Doncaster (10 August 2018)

Helen from County Durham (10 August 2018)

We had a great 3 night break. The lodge was in excellent condition and lovely inside. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. The hot tub was great and was maintained during our stay. A lovely, peaceful place to stay.
Toni from Lancashire (06 August 2018)

Book this as a relaxing "getaway" . it was that and more. The staff were so helpful and friendly, location fantastic and the log cabin. Was clean and comfortable.
William from Faweather (06 August 2018)

Absolutely beautiful location, but........... . i. Hot tubs too exposed. Ii. Dressing gowns and slippers to pay for. Iii. Need to park vehicles at the side of lodge - might even help with i. Above
Andy from Yorkshire (05 August 2018)

From the very first minute we arrived we felt taken care of. We arrived early (oops) but the staff were warm and welcoming and and we happily waited for a few minutes whilst taking in the absolutely amazing views. We were shown to our cabin and given instructions on how to work everything, asked if we needed anything and given a number to ring if we ever needed help out of hours. Very impressed with the extra pamper pack we purchased, was laid out beautifully and a nice addition. Everywhere was spotless and had everything one could possibly need from a self catering place, also had lovely little touches like dog biscuits snuck away in a tin on the log burner which our dog loved! little but important things were also cleaning materials, iron/ironing board, hoover, dishwasher tablets and a lovely bath/shower gel and lotion which I wanted to buy it was so nice. We had an amazing time just chilling out in the hot tub and the sauna, the spa bath is brilliant too! it's not too far to travel to go to a local shop, and there are takeaways that deliver - the staff at faweather have been nice enough to compose a pack in the bedroom that has local numbers and places to visit too which is a nice touch! I couldnt believe how comfy the bed was - so much so I tried to look which mattress topper they used so I could order one myself. We didn't really need to bother the staff but when we did see them they were absolutely lovely, they weren't imposing yet you knew they were there to help when you needed them. It's my first ever holiday away with my boyfriend and our dog and I couldn't have asked for more. Thankyou so much for making our stay fantastic. We are already planning our next visit here
Dana from Wigan (27 July 2018)

This place is absolutely fantastic. The grange is absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing. Lodges are spaced well apart for privacy. Staff are friendly and helpful and there were some lovely welcoming touches such as chocolates and bucks fizz in the very clean and homely lodges. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
Rachael (09 July 2018)

Me and my husband had a fantastic time, the staff were more than helpful, the cabin we stayed in was so amazing you couldn’t fault it and the area had such amazing views and was so peaceful and quiet, best short break i’ve ever had!
Sarah from Northamptonshire (01 July 2018)

The most relaxed i’ve ever been!!
Michael from Essex (22 June 2018)

Very peaceful, tranquil setting . just a little tip mayby take some precautions if your prone to bites as I got eaten by midges sitting on side . overall a lovely pleasant stay , just what’s needed to recharge batteries
Gwyneth from Morecambe (15 June 2018)

The only hesitation i'd have was with regards to the interior design . the korean artefacts were unpleasant and the japanese paintings completely out of keeping with the painting of the flowers in the kitchen .
Mike from Knutsford Cheshire (11 June 2018)

A really relaxing place to stay lovely clean lodges and friendly staff
Gillian (08 June 2018)

Brilliant friendly people willing to help anyway they can
Kevin from Skelton (06 June 2018)

An amazing holiday! beautiful lodge, amazing views, friendly and helpful staff. We’ll be returning:)
Katie from Hull (01 June 2018)

The lane leading to faweather grange is a narrow, unfinished single file track. It's extremely pot holed and the bottom of my car was repeatedly scraped. Only a 4 x 4 car could get up this lane without scraping the bottom of the car. The lane was also so narrow it would be impossible for cars to pass and it would even be difficult not to scratch a wide car on the bushes and trees overhanging the walls. You have no option but to drive the approx 0.5 mile along this lane to get to the lodges and it was a very unpleasant and stressful journey. The location of the lodges is beautiful but the drive along the lane spoils it.
Lorraine from Leeds (28 May 2018)

Excellent service staff very helpful and friendly lodge was beautiful
Stephen from Tyne And Wear (25 May 2018)

Kevin from Hull (18 May 2018)

We had a lovely weekend away,we did a couple of the walks in the books provided.hot tub very relaxing and wonderful views to wake up to each morning.
Dave (14 May 2018)

Beautiful place, location is marvellous
Julie from Grimsby (14 May 2018)

Relaxing and enjoyable
Jeremy from Whittlesey (27 April 2018)

If your literally looking to relax or romance, this place is perfect. They had thought of lots of little details we hadnt thought about such as a candles left around the bath & love heart ice cubes which really made the stay more special. Even though we didn’t use the extra services they can arrange for arrival such as flowers it’s nice to know that for a special anniversary in the future that could be useful. The nearest shop / pub is a drive so you need to be prepared for that. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s nice that the lodges are spaciously set, and feel quite private.
Louise from Hull (27 April 2018)

Best, most relaxed weekend we’ve ever been on. Thankyou
Fraser from Melton Mowbray (23 April 2018)

It was good I did enjoy it, but the value for money is absolutely ridiculous, for £350 a night including the pamper packet I just don’t understand where they get the prices, if it was half the price I would very frequently visit, but at the cost it is I will never be returning
Christopher (22 April 2018)

Lodge was clean with great hot tub and so peaceful and friendly staff. However, I have stayed at other lodges which were cheaper or similar price with much better facilities and definitely overpriced for what you get and definitely not luxury . it's all about the little finishing touches to be able to use the term luxury and this lodge did not have these . the water pressure was horrendous and couldn't have proper shower or wash dishes with ease . the garden furniture was old and tatty and uncomfortable. ..needs replacing and no table if you wanted to eat outside . had to pay extra if you wanted to use a bbq! . microwave hadn't been cleaned

It was a good job that I did not take my car as I would not have gotten up the road to the lodge which is not mentioned anywhere on the website and also the bedroom was tiny I had to squeeze sideways to get passed the bottom of the bed

Lodge was very nice with a wonderful location. It was great to have both a hot tub and sauna with the lodge. It was well "kitted out" with the essentials although for the cost of the lodge it would have been good if bathrobes and slippers were included in the price instead of having to pay extra.
Trevor from Melton Mowbray (19 February 2018)

This was an amazing relaxing weekend for my wife and i. The staff couldn't have been more helpful yet unobtrusive. Couldn't recommend highly enough. We will definitely be back.

The lodge was in a lovely position with fabulous vies from the lounge and hot tub. . the lodge was not especially big for 6 adults. The kitchen was well equipped but with two people in - it was full!. . the showers were disgraceful - the water flow was literally a pathetic trickle. There was no way the showers could be used. The reason given was because it was spring-fed, but water from the cold taps was a good pressure, so i'm sure the problem could be resolved - it urgently needs to be!
Susan from Ilkley (29 January 2018)

2nd time here, it's just what you need to get away from it all.3 days and we are leaving so relaxed

Best lodges we have stayed in. Very secluded which is great and with the log burner and hot tub you couldn't ask for a better place to get away from it all. The pictures provided on the web site need to be updated as they seem to be from before some updating work. They also greatly understate how good these genuine log cabins are. We will definitely return again.
Trevor from Scarborough (12 January 2018)

Great place really enjoyed our stay only downside was showers water pressure is poor but that the area I suppose
Lynnette from Hull (12 January 2018)

We booked this trip away as it was dog friendly. We feel it was not dog friendly at all considering we paid extra for the dogs to be told they have to be on leads all the time in the grounds wich is ridiculous when it's ment to be dog friendly any paw prints or scratches on the floor (wich was wooden throught) would be charged at a ridiculous rate. We believe it's totally not dog friendly and at 40 each for is high. Fair to say we will not be returning nor recommending . also e water pressure was a joke could hardly have a shower as it just trickled out
Michael (12 January 2018)

Best lodges we have stayed in. Very secluded which is great and with the log burner and hot tub you couldn't ask for a better place to get away from it all. The pictures provided on the web site need to be updated as they seem to be from before some updating work. They also greatly understate how good these genuine log cabins are. We will definitely return again.
Trevor from Scarborough (12 January 2018)

Great place really enjoyed our stay only downside was showers water pressure is poor but that the area I suppose

Had the most magical getaway thanks to your staff and your lodge, beautiful scenery, fantastic facilities, very tranquil. Only thing I would recommend would be wifi, however we enjoyed the feeling of being shut away from the world and not using our phones. Definately will return!

Great views and kitchen facilities but that's about it. Had no hot water the first night and the water pressure is basically non existent, then when I went to complain the office was closed during opening times. Upon check out all we got was an excuse of that they have been there 20 years and its on top of a hill, not even an apology. Hot tub was dirty upon arrival. Was told we would have complimentary champagne but there was none. Very overpriced!

Set in a beautiful secluded location you could not ask for more. My newly married wife and I spent two nights in one of the fantastic log cabins. Roaring wood burner, outdoor hot tub and sauna it was fantastic. The cabins are located at different heights and orientations on the site to ensure you have as much privacy as you could wish for. The site is close to local amenities and easily accessed. I would not hesitate to book here again

It’s was a clean lodge, however it is in need of a bit of tlc. You do have to drive to places as nothing on site or within 2 miles. Upon arrival, there was a thin small cheap vase on the table which when the bags were brought in, did get knocked to the floor. also the washing machine needs to be looked at the spin caused a bowl to drop from the shelf in the next cupboard. Upon leaving the lodge, I explained the 2 accidental breakages and we left the lodge clean and tidy. They advised they would not charge for the bowl but may need to charge for the small vase. I never received any further correspondence and then £20 was deducted from my card without any warning or confirmation as to what this was for as the vase was not worth £20. Not great customer service.

The lodge was beautiful and had gorgeous views. The staff were really helpful and were there if you needed anything but still gave you privacy. . the facilities in this lodge were amazing, there wasn’t a single thing we didn’t have.
