You must have transport to enjoy this holiday. We were isolated unable to walk to shops or public transport to go elsewhere. The taxi from and to the railway station was expensive. Fortunately I had packed enough food for our short stay ! the walk was strenuous and we were unable to finish it and got lost on the way back. The directions were not very good.
Patricia from London (20 April 2018)

Clean and very well kept site. . accomadation was comfortable. . staff were helpful and very professional. . highly recommend.
Huw from Cornwall (09 April 2018)

The park was very well kept and the staff was more than helpful when we had questions. . . the location in comparison to nearby cities and attractions is perfect; within one hour you are pretty much everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay and will recommend the park to others.
Jayson from Trier, Germany (30 March 2018)

Again another amazing stay here. It’s a home from home. Excellent
Robert (30 March 2018)

Had a great time. Easy lo access and clean.
Nonthawit (26 March 2018)

A real range of accommodation - the basic are really quite small and dated whereas the newer ones are quite luxurious but I do think they are overpriced. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Helen (10 March 2018)

Great lodge. The pool was shut for the majority of our stay. I had children with me as we our having work done to our house, it’s not a good place for hound children but would have been lovely for long walks if we didn’t have the children with us. Nothing on site shop/club etc
Rebecca from Ottershaw (03 March 2018)

Good value for money, great location and very helpful staff.
David (19 February 2018)

Welcome was good. Park home was clean and tidy. Had grandkids to stay and they enjoyed the pool and facilities.
David from Portbail France (17 February 2018)

Absolutely loved my stay. previous people had said not enough cutlery n probs with pillows but everything was wonderful. thoroughly recommend. def be back.
Andrea from Slough (09 February 2018)

We stayed here for two weeks whilst having work undertaken on our house. . . the staff are very helpful, the grounds are kept to a very good standard and are very clean. Whilst we were there in january, it was relatively quiet. . I was not aware when we booked that the lodges are not actually owned by the company but are let from private owners, so standards may vary, our lodge was very well appointed with a good size kitchen with both fridge-freezer and washing machine which are not available in every lodge. It was comfortable but would not in my opinion be suitable for four adults. . it should also be noted that probably 25% of the lodges are lived in on a permanent basis, which means that like us having two cars there was a lack of additional car parking.
Neil from Farnham (03 February 2018)

Excellent accommodation
Sandra from Retford (13 January 2018)

Great location but beware the public roads around the area if weather is wet, as it was for us. Nearest pub 30 mins walk, no street lights or pavements. But edgerley park itself is very nice. Accommodation is very good, high standard and well equipped. The indoor pool is great and the kids loved it. Overall a good place to spend some time relaxing and the staff are superb!
Stuart from Uxbridge (03 January 2018)

This is mainly a residential park and therefore does not have the facilities you would associate with a holiday park. . if you are looking for a quiet get away in a lodge that is well equipped then I would recommend. . there is a small swimming pool on site but no shop or bar. . having said all that it was a great place for the family to get together between christmas and the new year.
Dee from Deal (30 December 2017)

Beautiful setting .helpful staff . stunning lodge . immaculate and modern
Wendy from Witney (30 December 2017)

Enjoyable break but a couple of niggles with the lodge - toaster didn't work, nor did the fire, very slippery decking, main shower didn't work too well. As the break was over christmas, there were no staff on site to query these with.
Paul from Sidcup, Kent (27 December 2017)

We had a great week in this particularly bright lodge. Very well arranged and equipped, we have only one desire, do not move ! everything went well, except for a leak from the washing machine .. the porthole was broken .. but the team arrived immediately to clean everything and the host helped me to finish at the laundry, thank you.
Sophie from Boulogne Sur Mer (18 December 2017)

There’s nothing bad about the place, nice and quiet
Nathan from Nottingham (08 December 2017)

Excellent location for a holiday in a very comfortable lodge. Recommended for walkers
Valerie from Recommended For Walkers (27 November 2017)

It's the second visit to edgeley park, partly to visit relatives in surrey and to see the surrey countryside.
David from Paignton (24 November 2017)

Really good holiday needed a nice relaxing break and that's what we got at edgeley country park
David (28 October 2017)

We had a great time at edgeley. it was very quiet and the surroundings were lovely. the lodge had everything in it we could have wanted. they were even allowed us to bring our budgie. thanks.
Roy from Preston (28 October 2017)

Lovely , peaceful ,clean park . the lodge we had was luxurious , all mod cons . wish we had stayed longer . the pool was nice & most of the time it was almost empty of people. . only 25 miles from home but felt it could have been miles away ! will definitely stay there again .
Janette from Staines (27 October 2017)

It was a short break organised so that we could see a relative who was very unwell
David from Norwich (20 October 2017)

It would be nice to have a farm style shop onsite - or some small type shop. . . we have a lodge overlooking the green and it was fabulous.
Hazel from Glasgow (20 October 2017)

Had a fantastic break. very impressed with accommodation, facilities and staff. we had the playground, heated indoor pool and recreational space almost exclusively to ourselves. lovely, rural location with very friendly local pubs and nice walks. we also left keys onsite accidentally and maddie kindly returned them.
Claire from Chipstead (16 October 2017)

Clean, tidy and quiet site. Lodges of a high standard with good facilities.
Nigel from Portland, Dorset (14 October 2017)

Lovely quiet restful stay in beautiful surroundings.
Jean from Penzance (29 September 2017)

We had a great holiday loved the area
Susan from Ramsey (22 September 2017)

Not knowing the area I used my satnav to go place to visit....these were very narrow lanes with a pull in every few yards, very nerve racking to be driving 10-20mph not seeing over high banking etc and then to meet a hgv on a bend, the holiday on the site was very enjoyable nicely planned out.
Trevor (15 September 2017)

Pleasant would of like a club house in order to socialise with other guess and would of been nice to have a shop on site to buy local products food and drink
Patricia from Southampton (15 September 2017)

Very helpful and friendly staff with a warm welcome. Lovely clean lodge and quiet and peaceful location.
Marie from Powys (15 September 2017)

Great to escape from london. loved having the pool for the kids both mornings. high quality lodge. nice and modern. a few peculiar things.. terrible mattresses in expensive lodge.. and virtually no crockery or cutlery. enough for one meal for four people. needless scrimping for a quality experience.
Richard from London (11 September 2017)

Great holiday as always. we have stayed at edgeley 3 times now and each year gets better. It is an ideal base for visiting relatives and visiting the local attractions.
Alan from Hereford (09 September 2017)

Lovely place, lodge very well equipped and was perfect! the park could benefit from a small shop selling essentials and although lovely the swimming pool hours should be extended as when on holiday you tend to be out all day so 4.45pm is far too early.
Terry from Suffolk (08 September 2017)

A lovely quiet site in a perfect setting
David from Newport (04 September 2017)

Stayed here for a week at the end of august, lovely stay would highly recommend this place. Accommodation was great. facilities could be better having a shop on site would be handy. Location was fantastic for exploring the area, ideally situated for attractions. Would definitely return.
Annemarie (04 September 2017)

Great lodge and beautiful surroundings
Stuart from Wigan (01 September 2017)

Great surrey location. Lodge larger than expected and all very clean.
Iain (28 August 2017)

The place was lovely but you where only allowed to use pool very limited times due to owners if like most people on the site had come to to the big three theme parks you did not get any time to unwind the children with a swim after a busy day pool shut 5.30pm no good to mums. the staff were very sorry but said owners had caused fuss. it is such a same as site is great for the big three theme parks and lots of other attractions.
Kathryn (25 August 2017)

Beautiful location and some very nice places to visit the accommodation was a little small and the single beds a little too small and not very comfortable but overall very nice and relaxing
Shaun from Bury (25 August 2017)

The lodge was nice and clean. We stayed in a platinum lodge, it has lots of roman blinds at the front of the lodge(approx 12) , which you need to close for privacy in the evenings, pulling each one up again in the morning was quite tedious. Perhaps a simpler solution would be considered. The bedrooms were a nice size with very soft sprung matresses. The park is bigger than I expected with quite a few lodges owned privately. The pool is only open while the reception area is open which is quite limiting as reception closes at 16.45. The park is around 20-25 mins away from guildford which is the closest town with good restaurants although there are pubs which serve food closer. It was a good base to explore the surrounding area from. Overall we noted our stay but felt it worth pointing out a few things we hadn't considered when we booked.
Emma from Lowestoft (25 August 2017)

In all the park was lovely, nice and clean and peaceful. I do think the pool and gym needed to have longer opening hours, as we spent the days out and about, and would have liked to have the use of the pool and gym before or after we got back, 4.45pm closing is very early for a holiday park. I also think the park would benefit with more to do for kids, such as a games room. . also, as the location was very remote, I think the park needs a small onsite shop selling essential items. If we ran out of milk or bread it was a 15 min drive the nearest store.
Ruth from Newcastle Upon Tyne (21 August 2017)

We very much enjoyed our stay and all the staff were very helpful and cheery. . my one suggestion would be to provide a wider range of kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery. These were very limited. . thank you
Simon from Chessington (21 August 2017)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The grounds are immaculately maintained and well presented. The cabin we stayed in was extremely clean, spacious, nicely decorated, with hand and bath towels provided, as well as a little welcome pack which contained a few sachets of coffee, sugars, tea bags, washing up liquid, black bin bag and a tea towel, cloth and sponge which was a lovely touch as we always forget something! . we did feel the little park was lacking a few of the basics you would expect like swings, for little ones but we would definitely stay again and plan to soon!
Stacey from Saffron Walden (21 August 2017)

Very relaxing and quiet park. Accommodation was a very high standard and quality well worth the upgrade to platinum. perfect for that getaway to recharge your batteries. . . minor gripe was as there was no on site shop, so if you needed anything it was a 15 min drive to the nearest mini supermarket (co op). the other issue was the wifi which stated was free, but the speed was too poor to stream netflix or youtube without buffering. Paying the additional fee for a week of premium wifi (max 5mb) you expect better, but wifi coverage was unavailable in the lodge and was for one user at a time only. Multiple calls to the wifi support team over several days did not resolve the issue in the week we were there. Although very frustrating, it did not stop us having a great time at the park.
Stephen (19 August 2017)

We had a nice time. It was not quite during the day as we had the constant noise of the grass mowers and hedge cutters on three of the four days we were there and one of the gardeners called to my wife to come out of the holiday home to complain that she had not picked up our dogs mess which our dog did not do and on every occasion our dog went to toilet we collected it in a bag and deposited it in one of the dog bins.
Ronnie from Swindon (18 August 2017)

We had a lovely midweek break here. It was used as a base to enjoy nearby attractions. accommodation was clean, with good amenities. park is very peaceful to return to after a busy day sightseeing.
Donna from Plymouth (18 August 2017)

The location is lovely and the swimming pool and tennis courts were great. Unfortunately the lodge wasn't what I would expect for the money we paid, and the beds were the most uncomfortable i've ever stayed it.
Jenny (14 August 2017)

Very nice park but our 'lodge' was definitely a caravan!
Mark from Newark (12 August 2017)

We use the park as a base for visiting our daughter and partner living in godalming.
Marguerite from Laxfield (07 August 2017)

Lovely quiet well kept site, our lodge was lovely and very clean, pool and park also nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal location for days out to legoland, ,chessington, london,. brighton etc, I would definatly recommend edgeley park to friends and family and hopefully return in the future!!
Lindsey from Newcastle (29 July 2017)

The site and swimming pool were amazing, but the lodge itself needed a lick of paint.
Jodie (29 July 2017)

Great place to stay shame it doesn't have a shop on site
Rachel from Fritton (29 July 2017)

A great stay and we got so much more than we were expecting with regards to facilities both on site and in the lodge. Staff very friendly and informative about the local area. Will definitely be staying again
Michelle from Lytham St Annes (21 July 2017)

Very nice modernised shallet with all kitchen equipment included. Lovely lounge/diner, plus the bonus of having a decking! apart from the odd plane passing, you couldn't hear anything! nice setting and surroundings.
Jeff from Portsmouth (21 July 2017)

Fantastic lodge but let down by the opening hours of the pool. Our holiday was visiting chessington and lego land but the pool didn't open til we had left in the morning and had closed by the time we got back. Our children were very disappointed
Ryan from Tamworth (21 July 2017)

We had a wonderful few days at edgeley country park. we didn't have time to use the pool and gym so can't comment on them. we didn't walk around the site, but if the rest of it was as well laid out as our area (the green) it was probably very attractive. being from the midlands, I was surprised at how green and leafy surrey is. it was a pleasure to stay in the area. The only downside was the weather (!!) and the speed of the local car drivers on the narrow roads.
Elizabeth from Willenhall (14 July 2017)

Lodge was wonderful with everything needed for a short break. site has a small pool, tennis court and play area. lovely country walks and scenery. Only facility needed would be a small shop on site but shops are only a 10 minute drive in the car so not too much of an inconvenience. Also a restaurant would be good.
Amanda from Derby (10 July 2017)

Lovely place as base to explore area, stayed with our 3 kids. Lodge was nice and clean, there was a problem with shower one day in ensuite but sorted quickly by staff. . only downside is pool closes very early, would have been nice to go in after day out in evening & maybe playground could be better by I would stay again if in the area
Michelle from Ireland (01 July 2017)

Best ever!!!!
Eyituoyo (26 June 2017)

A lovely area with beautiful woodlands all around and easy access to many attractions (including a good range of excellent pubs!).
Mike from Beverley (26 June 2017)

Lovely cabin. We visited during the uk's hot summer week in june 2017 so the weather was hot, hot, hot! unfortunately, we knew all about this even more when stepping into our cabin. With floor to ceiling windows on 3 walls, it was like entering a greenhouse making it highly uncomfortable. We simply cannot win here in england can we! we loved the heat but it was difficult to deal with. Closing the roman blinds on each window only insulated the room as opposed to keeping it cool. There was a large fan in the master bedroom but with only one of them, we decided to put this in the lounge in order to share the little respite it gave. Although the weather was unusually warm that week, the site may need to consider a couple of things such as fans in all the bedrooms to aid sleeping. (we only slept right through 2 out of 7 nights so we were tired). also, if the windows could be opened prior to arrival, it 'may' create a little freshness although to be fair, probably not much coolness. Certainly not going to complain as it was our only issue really. Apart from that, kitchen facilities were adequate, we appreciated the little welcome pack to kick start the holiday, bathrooms were tastefully decorated with attention to detail and the layout of the overall cabin was great. I would come again but generally do not repeat accommodations as I like to position myself in different places on each holiday but once the area was fully explored, if I did want a week to just chill and do nothing, I would definitely return. The surrounding area is lovely and at just under 30 miles to london, it makes it a perfect base for exploring both the countryside, coast and our fabulous capital!
Heather from Huddersfield (24 June 2017)

Lovely setting, very peaceful. Lodge was nice, fully equipped.
Elizabeth (17 June 2017)

We are a young couple and took our baby girl and mothers and fathers with us. It's not somewhere we would usually think of staying but we thought we would try it and must say we were plesently suprised the park it's self is clean green and quiet the lodges are very nice and a lot bigger than they look in the pictures with all the facilities you would get in a house. All in all everyone really enjoyed the relaxing break and would definatly go again money providing. . . the only thing I would say that could be added is a hot tub there are similar lodges around the country that do have hot tubs and there's not much difference in the price so maybe could be added to attract more business. . still great break away highly recommend
Nick from Bristol (16 June 2017)

As the stay was work related we didnt get the chance to explore much but the setting was good. The major downfall of the site was the facilities being shut so early. The pool, exercise suite and saunas shut at 5pm. Not good
Craig from Wigan (09 June 2017)

We popped down last minute for the weekend.xx. The park is lovely and clean and quiet. The caravan was immaculate.xx. We had a lovely time thank you.xx
Nadine from Esher (02 June 2017)

Stunning lodge in a beautiful location.
David from Ashtead (02 June 2017)

A nice and quiet holiday park with a very friendly staff and very clean and nice equipped lodges. . we enjoyed our holiday week.
Anton (29 May 2017)

Lovely cabin in a nicely-cared for park. The location is superb with wonderful walking all around the area. Guildford is only 15 mins away. There is a small gym and pool which are well cared-for but unfortunately only during the day when the office is open. The wifi service offered is very poor. It's best to use a 4g smart-phone or dongle for internet. They offer an upgraded wifi service for a charge, but the 4g signal is good so you might as well use your phone as a hotspot.
Phil from Barking (27 May 2017)

Absolutely amazing holiday and a amazing lodge with more than I was expecting one of the best places I have stayed in staff were very kind and helpful
Tracey (26 May 2017)

Fantastic holiday, the whole family were comfortable for the week and the kids loved seeing the deer and foxes in the fields opposite
Carl from Devon (19 May 2017)

Very quiet and clean park . would of liked to have a small shop on site for essentials . lodges are great , clean with everything you need
Sharon from Edgeley Park (15 May 2017)

Used it as a base for our weeks golfing great place . peace and tranquillity
Douglas from Rayleigh/Essex (12 May 2017)

Apart from noisy peacocks and farm adjacent to park pleasant and peaceful surroundings. Lodge was quite spacious and comfortable.
Marguerite from Woodbridge (08 May 2017)

Fantastic position overlooking fields. Amazing wildlife & a roosting peacock! great for all ages
Georgina from Worthing (01 May 2017)

Lovely accommodation best park we have stayed in for this. beautiful surroundings and lovely walks. could do with more facilities like small shop and restaurant but lack of facilities would not stop me going back. Great place would recommend
Trevor (28 April 2017)

Excellent stay. Lovely staff
Joe from Bexhill On Sea (28 April 2017)

Fourth time we have stayed at this site and it was as good as ever.lovely site and accommodation is excellent. Only negative is that the outside furniture was dirty and quite old .was unable to sit outside without cleaning it first.
Kay from York (28 April 2017)

Lovely park. Our lodge was very well equipped and spacious, even with 4 adults and 2 children. It's worth noting that the pool closes quite early and doesn't have a shallow end; our children are almost swimming but still needed buoyancy aids. We loved the location but if you wanted to walk to a pub for a quick drink you might find it a bit far. We plan to return.
Claire from Yorkshire (22 April 2017)

Lodge was fantastic and very clean. Staff were polite but it could do with more to do on site including an onsite pub restaurant. You need to drive a good 20 minutes to find any shops or things to do especially if you have children but I would defiantly go again
Nicola from Stoke On Trent (21 April 2017)

Very high quality accommodation in a lovely setting. helpful staff, very simple check-in and check-out. the only thin missing was a shop/restaurant on site as the nearest are quite a distance away.
Ruth from Wicklow (17 April 2017)

We really enjoyed our stay. The lodges were fantastic and had everything that we needed. One small thing to mention; we stayed in the platnium lodges, and the cords to pull the blinds are very unsafe for small children (and there are so many of them!).
Niamh (17 April 2017)

Really enjoyed the lodge holiday - it was a short break but just what the doctor ordered
Mary (17 April 2017)

Sorry, very concise review. . tvs in bedroom no connection to aerials, whats point of tv's in bedroom if you can't use them?. curtains were broken - vertical blinds were broken, no privacy at night time, were offered alternative lodge, but had already settled in this one so would have been a big hassle moving,. ants crawling around on counters in kitchen. Toaster safety test dues 16 march 2016, not done. Nice furnishings, good location for theme parks. Small rooms, smaller bathroom tiny. Swimming and gym reception only open 815 to 445 except mon and fri 6:30. Kitchen dining table no space for everyone to sit, was cramped.
Ssb from Rugby (14 April 2017)

Superb location with cycle route 22 and the downs link path on your doorstep, great for keeping active. The park is pleasantly landscaped and very quiet when we were there.
David from Rugby (10 April 2017)

Great cabins and a great price and location
Michael from Wolverhampton (07 April 2017)

Beautiful site in a superb location.
Andrew (07 April 2017)

It was a lovely stay with our daughter (6yrs) and our son (2yrs). . . we were lucky enough to get the same lodge from 4 years ago. The surroundings and local area are great.
Jamel from Beckenham (07 April 2017)

Excellent property well cared for and clean. . limited crockery and cutlery if fully used for 6 people. Really need more than 6 mugs or 6 knives and forks. Reported lack of a knife as there were only 5 and never was provided with another. Would be better to equip it with a dishwasher rather than washing machine. . excellent value for money.
Emma from Birmingham (01 April 2017)

A lovely well kept site with immaculate facilities. The accommodation was on a spacious pitch and the park is located in a pretty village with lovely walks and biking in beautiful woods.
Jo from Abergele North Wales (31 March 2017)

Really peaceful park and surroundings.
Brenda from Bulkington (17 March 2017)

We considered that the comfort and facilities, such as cooking utensils etc' to have been of a very high standard.
Donald from Leeds (10 March 2017)

The park is ok and the staff are nice who helped me with all my needs . ok perhaps I should have paid more and rented a lodge instead of a caravan which if I had I would have given 10 out of 10 for everything .
Michael (06 March 2017)

Beautiful location and the lodge was extremely comfortable with all mod cons. for some reason there was a damp patch inside, which was there the last time we came and we had thought the cleaner had spilt a bucket of water! the central heating and showers all worked really well and towels were provided. . the downside of this particular site is the lack of amenities. there is no onsite shop - which would be very handy given there are no cleaning products or supplies - just a very small sample of washing liquid in a very small welcome box. the first thing you need to do is find a supermarket after arrival, which given you are not allowed into the accommodation until 4pm makes things a bit hectic. . also, this site is advertised as having fitness facilities, which really is quite pathetic because it consists of one small room with one treadmill, one rower and a few weights machines. it would be crowded with more than two people - so absolutely hopeless in high season.
Janet from Cornwall (03 March 2017)

Second trip back to the park. Great location and beautiful surroundings. Accomodation is great value for money.
Jane from Cheshire (24 February 2017)

I was very happy with my log cabin it was clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Themoulla (18 February 2017)

The park was very well kept. Lots of things to do in the local area but phone in advance for opening times if staying in the winter. . leisure facilities of pool and tennis court were good. Would have been great if the swimming pool opened later to 6.30 pm as it was on arrival on the first day. On other days it closed at 4.45 pm so had to rush back from days out as kids were keen to use the pool. . was a lovely peaceful break though.
Vanessa from London (17 February 2017)

Great location, beautiful accommodation
Christopher from London (23 January 2017)

Lodge was very basic. No pictures, lamps or ornaments. The dining chairs were in state with leather falling off them and the dining table was falling apart. There was a hole in one of the bedroom doors which looked like it had been done with someone's fist! . all in all the park was nice but I wouldn't choose to stay in this particular lodge again.
Kim from Guildford (30 December 2016)

We enjoyed our christmas break but unfortunately all the facilities were closed for most of our holiday. . lodges were very close together.
Penny from Banbury (27 December 2016)

Pleasant place to stay
Ray from Bognor Regis (27 December 2016)

Quiet scenic park with superb walks or our dogs on the doorstep. We knew what to expect as my husband lived in farley green as a child. Park staff were friendly and helpful.
Sandra from Doncaster (30 September 2016)

Beautiful location and lodge park. Great escape from busy city life.
Paul from Ashford (30 September 2016)

Very pleasing lodge in quiet, beautiful location.
Jennifer from Manchester (26 September 2016)

Exellent mini break with a toddler. Staff very helpful when issues with our oven. Staff also made a fuss of daughter when we went swimming and gave her a teddy. Bed was also the comfiest ever slept in!
Rachel from Blackpool (23 September 2016)

Initially we were delighted, but we were then downgraded!
Lynne from Tenby West Wales (23 September 2016)

This was out first visit to edgeley country park and we were most impressed. the grounds were immaculate and that facilities excellent.
Jean from Penzance (23 September 2016)

Great stay in excellent quality accomadation. Edgely park is peaceful and secluded.
Beverley (17 September 2016)

I bought my mum away for a few days,we were lucky and had the hottest day whilst there,we just had a lovely relaxing few days the lodge was so lovely and comfortable, the site&surroundings were spotless and immaculate,we will defo be coming back,i actually want to live there,so quiet and relaxing, the staff were very polite and helpful
Lesley from Brighton (16 September 2016)

Had a fantastic stay. Pool great. Great place to stay for thorpe park and london. Will stay again a +
Sue (09 September 2016)

Lovely park superbly placed for surrounding attractions particularly theme parks. shame pool only open in daytime - would have been nice to swim in the evenings. wifi shocking - should never be advertised as having wifi. free wifi only available for one device and was inadequate. £20 charge for full wifi was a bit insulting given the price of the holiday. beautifully tidy and clean accommodation and site. would have been nice to have a small shop for newspapers and basic provisions.
Joanne from Great Yarmouth (03 September 2016)

A lovely quiet lodge park where grounds, facilites and lodges are well kept. despite going in august over a bank holiday we saw or heard very few other people - enjoyed the tennis courts to ourselves (no waiting) and the swimming pool only had a few people in it at any time. (although as others have said the pool is only open office hours) if it is a quality, quiet relaxing holiday you are after then this is the spot !
Lucy from Surrey (02 September 2016)

Great accommodation, great staff and great location. Would be good if there was a small shop but loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
Russell from Rhoose. Barry. (29 August 2016)

We had a lovely stay and will revisit soon.
Laraine from Mawnan Smith Cornwall (29 August 2016)

Really lovely setting. we loved the peacefulness of the park. it is not too big and because a lot of the chalets seem to be owned and lived in all year round, the park felt homely. the only downside for us as a family was that the pool closed at 5 pm which during august when the children are with you on holiday is too early. a small shop with essentials (milk, bread etc would have also been useful as it is quite a drive to the nearest shop.
Christine from Farnborough Hampshire (26 August 2016)

Would have been nice if swimming pool stayed open longer hours.
Bob (22 August 2016)

Nice cabin, a bit expensive. Park facilities are few.
Gijsbert from Utrecht Nl (15 August 2016)

Great place to get away from it all
Herby from Gateshead (12 August 2016)

The driving way is risky
Khalid from Riyadh (18 July 2016)

Although the lodge was to a high standard we were disappointed with no view and next to foot path. there were some some concerns for young children staying there which we have raised with owners. the cords of the blinds were right down to the floor which a toddler could hang from. the decking was very dirty and had not been cleaned before we arrived.
Ken from Burton (18 July 2016)

Lovely peaceful location, everywhere was kept very clean. Just wish the pool was open later and a little shop or coffee shop would be a nice addition.
Sarah from Basildon (18 July 2016)

This was our first time in a lodge and we were delighted with the location and the overall impression of the park. It was an ideal location for our requirements as we needed to go to an event just outside north west london and then back down to gatwick to catch a flight for the rest of our holiday. It was a great and relaxing start to our annual holiday and the local area is lovely. My only criticism is that a little shop supplying basics onsite would be fantastic, however, we did enjoy a trip via the pub for a pint of milk! we shall be staying again.
Sophie (04 July 2016)

Quiet place, nice facilities, beautiful surrounding, comfortable
Roel from Tiel, Netherlands (02 July 2016)

Fab location & lodge but needs a small shop
Sally-Ann from Newport (27 June 2016)

Super accommodation albeit a bit pricey bearing in mind location and lack of any local facilities, however, it met our requirements of 2 double bedroom with two bathrooms in the sw london/surrey area.
Don from Leyland (25 June 2016)

Superb setting and spacious, well appointed chalets.beautiful countryside and loved the tennis and swimming facilities.cheaper than other similar sites!
Eric from Northfleet (03 June 2016)

Beautiful, bit out of things especially if you have to drive everywhere, but will recommend it to anyone,
Peter (20 May 2016)

Brilliant relaxing holiday, highly recommended
Graham from Yorkshire (16 May 2016)

We had a lovely stay at edgeley. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and our accommodation was spot on. Location was pretty good for legoland etc. It still felt in the middle of nowhere. So peaceful. Use of the pool on a rainy day was great. They do have a new park area for children but very small so couldn't spend long there.
Mark from Catterick (13 May 2016)

Enjoyed our stay but lack of a shop in walking distance or a restaurant close by was a negative in our opinion.
Philip from Lincoln (11 May 2016)

Beautiful, peaceful park, with ultra friendly and kind staff. The park has a feeling of being removed from the daily grind and we all loved it.
Juanita from Surrey (25 April 2016)

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, what lets the site down is not having any form of entertainment and a shop would be really useful.
Jill from Cannock Staffs (22 April 2016)

This was a beautiful setting , very peaceful and quiet, just what you needed after busy day at theme parks. . chessington was about 30 min away, thorpe park 20min and legoland 45 min so convenient location. . good little swimming pool on site, free tennis and small child park. . would be nice to have a small shop on site but wasn't a problem driving to supermarket in town centre. . would return as lodge was fantastic
Karen from Plymouth (09 April 2016)

Excellent location close to london. Good facility and very friendly staff. Definitely will recommend
Salah (08 April 2016)

Lovely place to stay. Great swimming pool
Jayne from Canterbury (08 April 2016)

We had a wonderful time and have already booked to come back in the summer and again for christmas. Would certainly recommend it.
Nicholas from Sheffield (04 April 2016)

We enjoyed our stay despite the quality of the customer service. the reception desk has a sign saying: we love our customers some when they come others when they leave, or something to that effect. Not a welcoming message. when we asked reception for help to replace the broken dvd player in our cabin the response was we don't have one. we suggested that there may be one in another disused cabin that we could use. This was begrudgingly agreed to and arranged. This left us feeling like a hindrance rather than welcome guests.
Renae from London (04 April 2016)

We had a great time and accommodation was all clean. just unfortunate that when storm hit over the easter weekend, there was no water or electric in the morning and the whole site was down, luckily was on our last day so packed and headed home.
Mary from Christchurch (28 March 2016)

Holiday started poorly with cabin central heating not working. I felt this could have been corrected before we arrived. Portable heaters were supplied immediately and a central heating engineer fitted new parts the following day, after that all was well.
George from Barnsley, South Yorkshire (11 March 2016)

Shame that the swimming pool is not open longer hours.
Trevor from France (22 February 2016)

We stayed in the platinum lodge four and it was absolutely lovely. Would definitely return.
Louise from Bedfordshire (15 February 2016)

Excellent. Looking forward to going again sometime.
Robert from Sheffield (12 February 2016)

A beautiful park in lovely surroundings. Would benifit from a having a small shop for the days that you don't want to drive. Also a bar so that you can socialise with out needing to leave the site and spend money on very expensive taxis
Catherine from Stockton On Tees (27 December 2015)

Perfect & lovely
Abdulaziz from State Of Kuwait (14 December 2015)

We had a problem with the boiler cutting put, due to a pressure loss in the shower. My husband fixed it himself as he has plumber training, but it would have been a problem otherwise. We were at no 46. Everything else was great.
Miriam from Exeter (30 November 2015)

Overall a great time :)
Debbie (27 November 2015)

Lovely relaxing week.
Sandie from Warwickshire (16 November 2015)

I stay at edgeley quite regularly. It is a little out in the country but worth it for the peace &quiet. Lodges are comfortable very well equipped. Towels, washing up liquid and bath stuff provided.
Paul from Teesside (06 November 2015)

We had a lovely time, the lodge was clean, warm and comfortable.
Patricia from Great Glen (23 October 2015)
