Quiet scenic park with superb walks or our dogs on the doorstep. We knew what to expect as my husband lived in farley green as a child. Park staff were friendly and helpful.
Sandra from Doncaster (30 September 2016)

Beautiful location and lodge park. Great escape from busy city life.
Paul from Ashford (30 September 2016)

Very pleasing lodge in quiet, beautiful location.
Jennifer from Manchester (26 September 2016)

Exellent mini break with a toddler. Staff very helpful when issues with our oven. Staff also made a fuss of daughter when we went swimming and gave her a teddy. Bed was also the comfiest ever slept in!
Rachel from Blackpool (23 September 2016)

Initially we were delighted, but we were then downgraded!
Lynne from Tenby West Wales (23 September 2016)

This was out first visit to edgeley country park and we were most impressed. the grounds were immaculate and that facilities excellent.
Jean from Penzance (23 September 2016)

Great stay in excellent quality accomadation. Edgely park is peaceful and secluded.
Beverley (17 September 2016)

I bought my mum away for a few days,we were lucky and had the hottest day whilst there,we just had a lovely relaxing few days the lodge was so lovely and comfortable, the site&surroundings were spotless and immaculate,we will defo be coming back,i actually want to live there,so quiet and relaxing, the staff were very polite and helpful
Lesley from Brighton (16 September 2016)

Had a fantastic stay. Pool great. Great place to stay for thorpe park and london. Will stay again a +
Sue (09 September 2016)

Lovely park superbly placed for surrounding attractions particularly theme parks. shame pool only open in daytime - would have been nice to swim in the evenings. wifi shocking - should never be advertised as having wifi. free wifi only available for one device and was inadequate. £20 charge for full wifi was a bit insulting given the price of the holiday. beautifully tidy and clean accommodation and site. would have been nice to have a small shop for newspapers and basic provisions.
Joanne from Great Yarmouth (03 September 2016)

A lovely quiet lodge park where grounds, facilites and lodges are well kept. despite going in august over a bank holiday we saw or heard very few other people - enjoyed the tennis courts to ourselves (no waiting) and the swimming pool only had a few people in it at any time. (although as others have said the pool is only open office hours) if it is a quality, quiet relaxing holiday you are after then this is the spot !
Lucy from Surrey (02 September 2016)

Great accommodation, great staff and great location. Would be good if there was a small shop but loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
Russell from Rhoose. Barry. (29 August 2016)

We had a lovely stay and will revisit soon.
Laraine from Mawnan Smith Cornwall (29 August 2016)

Really lovely setting. we loved the peacefulness of the park. it is not too big and because a lot of the chalets seem to be owned and lived in all year round, the park felt homely. the only downside for us as a family was that the pool closed at 5 pm which during august when the children are with you on holiday is too early. a small shop with essentials (milk, bread etc would have also been useful as it is quite a drive to the nearest shop.
Christine from Farnborough Hampshire (26 August 2016)

Would have been nice if swimming pool stayed open longer hours.
Bob (22 August 2016)

Nice cabin, a bit expensive. Park facilities are few.
Gijsbert from Utrecht Nl (15 August 2016)

Great place to get away from it all
Herby from Gateshead (12 August 2016)

The driving way is risky
Khalid from Riyadh (18 July 2016)

Although the lodge was to a high standard we were disappointed with no view and next to foot path. there were some some concerns for young children staying there which we have raised with owners. the cords of the blinds were right down to the floor which a toddler could hang from. the decking was very dirty and had not been cleaned before we arrived.
Ken from Burton (18 July 2016)

Lovely peaceful location, everywhere was kept very clean. Just wish the pool was open later and a little shop or coffee shop would be a nice addition.
Sarah from Basildon (18 July 2016)

This was our first time in a lodge and we were delighted with the location and the overall impression of the park. It was an ideal location for our requirements as we needed to go to an event just outside north west london and then back down to gatwick to catch a flight for the rest of our holiday. It was a great and relaxing start to our annual holiday and the local area is lovely. My only criticism is that a little shop supplying basics onsite would be fantastic, however, we did enjoy a trip via the pub for a pint of milk! we shall be staying again.
Sophie (04 July 2016)

Quiet place, nice facilities, beautiful surrounding, comfortable
Roel from Tiel, Netherlands (02 July 2016)

Fab location & lodge but needs a small shop
Sally-Ann from Newport (27 June 2016)

Super accommodation albeit a bit pricey bearing in mind location and lack of any local facilities, however, it met our requirements of 2 double bedroom with two bathrooms in the sw london/surrey area.
Don from Leyland (25 June 2016)

Superb setting and spacious, well appointed chalets.beautiful countryside and loved the tennis and swimming facilities.cheaper than other similar sites!
Eric from Northfleet (03 June 2016)

Beautiful, bit out of things especially if you have to drive everywhere, but will recommend it to anyone,
Peter (20 May 2016)

Brilliant relaxing holiday, highly recommended
Graham from Yorkshire (16 May 2016)

We had a lovely stay at edgeley. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and our accommodation was spot on. Location was pretty good for legoland etc. It still felt in the middle of nowhere. So peaceful. Use of the pool on a rainy day was great. They do have a new park area for children but very small so couldn't spend long there.
Mark from Catterick (13 May 2016)

Enjoyed our stay but lack of a shop in walking distance or a restaurant close by was a negative in our opinion.
Philip from Lincoln (11 May 2016)

Beautiful, peaceful park, with ultra friendly and kind staff. The park has a feeling of being removed from the daily grind and we all loved it.
Juanita from Surrey (25 April 2016)

The lodge was absolutely beautiful, what lets the site down is not having any form of entertainment and a shop would be really useful.
Jill from Cannock Staffs (22 April 2016)

This was a beautiful setting , very peaceful and quiet, just what you needed after busy day at theme parks. . chessington was about 30 min away, thorpe park 20min and legoland 45 min so convenient location. . good little swimming pool on site, free tennis and small child park. . would be nice to have a small shop on site but wasn't a problem driving to supermarket in town centre. . would return as lodge was fantastic
Karen from Plymouth (09 April 2016)

Excellent location close to london. Good facility and very friendly staff. Definitely will recommend
Salah (08 April 2016)

Lovely place to stay. Great swimming pool
Jayne from Canterbury (08 April 2016)

We had a wonderful time and have already booked to come back in the summer and again for christmas. Would certainly recommend it.
Nicholas from Sheffield (04 April 2016)

We enjoyed our stay despite the quality of the customer service. the reception desk has a sign saying: we love our customers some when they come others when they leave, or something to that effect. Not a welcoming message. when we asked reception for help to replace the broken dvd player in our cabin the response was we don't have one. we suggested that there may be one in another disused cabin that we could use. This was begrudgingly agreed to and arranged. This left us feeling like a hindrance rather than welcome guests.
Renae from London (04 April 2016)

We had a great time and accommodation was all clean. just unfortunate that when storm hit over the easter weekend, there was no water or electric in the morning and the whole site was down, luckily was on our last day so packed and headed home.
Mary from Christchurch (28 March 2016)

Holiday started poorly with cabin central heating not working. I felt this could have been corrected before we arrived. Portable heaters were supplied immediately and a central heating engineer fitted new parts the following day, after that all was well.
George from Barnsley, South Yorkshire (11 March 2016)

Shame that the swimming pool is not open longer hours.
Trevor from France (22 February 2016)

We stayed in the platinum lodge four and it was absolutely lovely. Would definitely return.
Louise from Bedfordshire (15 February 2016)

Excellent. Looking forward to going again sometime.
Robert from Sheffield (12 February 2016)

A beautiful park in lovely surroundings. Would benifit from a having a small shop for the days that you don't want to drive. Also a bar so that you can socialise with out needing to leave the site and spend money on very expensive taxis
Catherine from Stockton On Tees (27 December 2015)

Perfect & lovely
Abdulaziz from State Of Kuwait (14 December 2015)

We had a problem with the boiler cutting put, due to a pressure loss in the shower. My husband fixed it himself as he has plumber training, but it would have been a problem otherwise. We were at no 46. Everything else was great.
Miriam from Exeter (30 November 2015)

Overall a great time :)
Debbie (27 November 2015)

Lovely relaxing week.
Sandie from Warwickshire (16 November 2015)

I stay at edgeley quite regularly. It is a little out in the country but worth it for the peace &quiet. Lodges are comfortable very well equipped. Towels, washing up liquid and bath stuff provided.
Paul from Teesside (06 November 2015)

We had a lovely time, the lodge was clean, warm and comfortable.
Patricia from Great Glen (23 October 2015)

We had the most fantastic holiday. Park is in the middle of nowhere but still, if you have a car, you are really in the middle of lots to do. Relaxing setting, high quality accommodation. Just fantastic!
Ian from Portlethen (19 October 2015)

If that was platinum... . not big enough...uncomfortable beds...too close to other lodges...no facilities.
Richard (17 October 2015)

The fact that so many people live here full time can make you feel like an interloper as most people are not on holiday, also the fact that the gym and pool close by 5ish each day means you are mostly unable to use the facilities if you are out for the day, it's fine if you live there and can go during working hours, otherwise not. Staff are lovely and surrounding area lovely
Tania from Guildford (16 October 2015)

The first week we stayed in a platinum holiday home and the following week we stayed in a platinum lodge. Of the two, the lodge was far superior with lots of space; however I would stay in both properties again. They both had mod cons and fully catered for our needs. Would be nice if the leisure facilities opened outside office hours and also the playground could benefit from some kit for younger children.
Abigail from Guildford (16 October 2015)

Its a bit too isolated for me, and also the nearest shop is a short drive away.
Margaret from Marlow (25 September 2015)

Peaceful relaxing getaway, would benefit from having a clubhouse and small basic shop, on the whole a lively experience in a beautiful cabin
Lorraine from Romford (25 September 2015)

It was a very nice holiday for us to be at edgeley park!. a well equipt home and a staff who wont to do everything for us. A compliment to all of you from holland, we enjoy so much our trip to england, thanks to you all!
Wolly from De Meern (Netherlands) (21 September 2015)

This was our fourth visit and we've always had a good lodge however we were disappointed with the decor this year. Scuff marks on the kitchen breakfast bar and a broken window in the bedroom with tape on it and a note "beware broken glass". I can't understand why it hadn't been fixed. . i'm sure we'll book again but will make sure the lodge is in good condition.
Gillian (19 September 2015)

Edgeley park is an excellent site, quiet, tidy, perfect location to tour london, the south and west. Staff are always friendly and most helpful. The facilities are very good, pool, tennis and walks. William 1v pub a mile away good food and real ale. As we book off peak the site represents great value .
Stephen from Market Rasen (11 September 2015)

Very good, only one small snag,no coffee table(s) to put your drinks on,be nice to relax after a day out on sofa with a drink on hand. Apart from that, first class.thank you
Janet from Sheffield (07 September 2015)

There are better quality and cheaper sites with better facilities but the location is what brings my family here.
Fi from Derby (04 September 2015)

We loved it! the facilities were excellent and the central heating was very welcome. The lodge itself was spacious and spotless. It was so quiet we found it hard to believe that guildford was so close. The village of shere was a delight and the tea rooms serve the best cakes for miles around! marvellous!
Julia from Newbury (04 September 2015)

Great site, with a nice swimming pool and a good playground. All the staff were really helpful and friendly.
Matt from Leek, Staffs (31 August 2015)

It was a very plesant stay relaxed and it felt very safe and secure the lodge was very well appointed but could have done with somewhere to put our outside shoes wellies etc
Marilyn from London (31 August 2015)

Lovely place, loads to do with the kids around surrey, bracknell and windsor.
Louise from Devon (31 August 2015)

Friendly and easy check-in and check-out. Helpful staff and very clean pool!. not too many facilities, but the location was perfect for exploring the area. Only some issues with wifi, but these were solved in a day.
Dick from Nieuwegein, The Netherlands (25 July 2015)

The holiday park was lovely and very central for travelling to the 3 theme parks in the area, thorpe park, chessington world of adventure and legoland. The lodge we stayed in was in great condition and just like being at home. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will again. 10 out of 10
Derek from Coatbridge (24 July 2015)

We had a great time, nice quit park, beautiful area .
Sandra (20 July 2015)

Lovely lodge, pretty location.
Michelle from Lesmahagow (13 July 2015)

Location is idyllic in the surrey hills and a long way from the rat race. Perfect location to feel remote from the day to day. That said all the main attractions are less than an hour away. Accomodation was top class and immaculately prepared. Reception staff were brilliant and nothing was too much bother. Will return, if not this site but certainly to one of the locations.
Lindsey from Wishaw, Scotland (13 July 2015)

We stayed two weeks and had a wonderful time. It is so peaceful at edgeley and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
Clare (11 July 2015)

Really enjoyed our time at edgeley park. Pool was clean but it would've been better if open longer hours. Park itself was lovely, well maintained. Our lodge was very well appointed with all the amenities we needed for our holiday. very comfortable beds. One of the best lodges we've stayed in. We visited lots of places while there. So if you have a car it's a good base. Overall great holiday.
Helen from Airdrie (10 July 2015)

Very nice quiet park in a lovely location unfortunately the pool area was closed due to works being carried out, but the tennis court was great
Adam from Nottingham (26 June 2015)

Edgeley is a favourite holiday destination, never a disappointment. staff always courteous and cheerful.
Linda from Southampton (19 June 2015)

The park staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even making us a hot drink on arrival when we arrived quite early for check in. The lodge itself was immaculate and the best equipped lodge I have stayed in to date. The only two thins for us that would have made our stay perfect would have been a small shop selling milk and newspapers and some swings in the play area for our young children

Gorgeous location and the park itself was very well kept, clean and tidy. I had a problem with my shower which was sorted immediately. Our cabin was immaculate. Could do with new mattress on bed as worst ive ever slept on and had back and shoulder pain all week because of it but the place itself with its heated pool and park was lovely and apart from the mattress issue we had a very nice week.
Wendy from Sherburn In Elmet (30 May 2015)

Amazing location, lovely clean and comfortable lodge. on-site shop would be a great addition but already thinking of staying again.

A lot of people in the park live in there cabins and that can at times make you feel uncomfortable. It is only suppose to be a small drive to attractions like legoland and chessington however due to the roads in the area being like country lanes, it takes around 1hr 40 minutes for legoland and 45 minutes for chessington, so not the close location advertised. On checkin the lady wasn't rude but she wasn't over nice either just handed us our key and a map of how to get to the lodge.
Sian from Scarborough (29 May 2015)

First lodge we have stayed in and the whole family where very impressed. Great location and an excellent base for a number of days out, such as chessington.

I did think the lodges would not have been quite so close together like a caravan park so this was a negative as didn't feel very private on the decking area due to dog walkers, cars driving past. Overall the experience was enjoyable and would stay again. Great location too :)
Kelly from Colchester (15 May 2015)

Lovely lodge well equipped with everything you need. Internet very disapointing paid extra for service just would not connect and when finally did so slow could not use, if internet is important for you this will be a problem. No phone signal either. Nice gym and pool only could not use as only open during office hours and not early morning or evenings the most likely times you would want to use.
Bryan from Northamptonshire (15 May 2015)

Lovely quiet, well maintained park, a true 'get away from it all' .. marked by the fact there's no club house, no shop and no kids playground... which so often spoil parks, making them noisy at night and commercialized during the day. . . we have been on many park holidays and you have got something very special at edgeley. . thank you for a lovely stay, we would like to return some day ..

Absolutely terrible - nothing on site but a swimming pool and even that was dreadful. The temperature was freezing due to part broken part and wouldn't be fixed for 7 weeks!

Plenty of room, beautiful surroundings. Pool closes too early, would benefit from a convenience store.

Nice place. Lovely clean lodge. All as advertised. So much accommodation in surrey for good price. Central heating and lashings of hot water.
Paul from Teesside (06 February 2015)

Please beware of the wifi, it says wifi with the accommodation but you have to buy at £20! for one week, and only guaranteed 0.5 mb speed. Was taking over 5 mins to load one page, and as I was on a business course this was unacceptable. So if you have children u can only have one device connected at once! that's my only gripe, accommodation was great, all mod cons and location was superb with some lovely pubs around for food!!

Lovely lodge, with every accessory you could wish for, but whilst I was at least given the choice of paying for towels in advance - annoying, but sadly quite common, what I really hated was being charged £10 for wi-fi! just charge £10 extra on the cost price, don't make me spend 2 hours on awful software and helplines just to use something that should be free!

Very pleased with the venue, with paths straight out into the surrey hills. A bit too far to walk to a pub on a cold winter's evening, but otherwise ideal. We appreciated the pool, gym and tennis court. Some people would probably like more activities on offer.

Edgeley park is the perfect place for a family holiday. You can get away from the crowded cities and enjoy the nature in a fashionable way. We had a wonderful time and loved the atmosphere. The staff was kind and helpful.
