We had a wonderful break and hope to visit again next year !
Lesley from Banbury (10 November 2017)

The site was set in a lovely location. Our only complaint was regarding the attention to detail in the accommodation. There were a few cleanliness issues, there were a few small items that needed repairing i.e. Door handles, cable at the back of the tv etc. Also, we felt that the kitchen was not very well equipped.
Wayne from Gloucester (27 October 2017)

Booked sat to sat but rang to say we couldn't get there till sun, when we arrived early sun I presumed that as it was booked from sat that we could go straight in but to my shock they had let it out for other people & had to wait for it to be cleaned. No offer of a refund for the night that they had let it out. Very discussed
Kim from Birmingham (21 October 2017)

Nice location and lodge was very nice
Neil from Pontefract (16 October 2017)

We didn't use anything but the lodge. It was perfect very clean and well kept. Staff on check in very helpful and friendly, and again when we had to call reception on another day our problem was quickly sorted.
Jody from Windsor (16 October 2017)

My mum and dad had an amazing time and would definitely come back
Derek from Plymouth (09 October 2017)

Lovely well equipped lodge, with everything you need! only downside is you could hear the traffic on the a30!
Jeremy (30 September 2017)

Very welcoming staff, very helpful & accomadating, excellent service all round.
Margaret from Skegness (29 September 2017)

Lovely log cabin in a good location
Doreen from Walsall (23 September 2017)

Only used as a base
Diane from Barry (23 September 2017)

Overall good, but floor in main bathroom was badly needing repair as floor tiles were cracked and loose right next to the bath and where you step out of the bath
Maureen from Sherborne (22 September 2017)

Feel that the lodges are now at an age where bits need upgrading such as the wooden structures around the hot tubs are starting to rot
Matthew from Uttoxeter (22 September 2017)

The staff couldn't be more helpful when we needed help . very clean lodge could not fault it !
Lauren (22 September 2017)

We really enjoyed our stay at our fingle glen vip lodge and made good use of the hot tub. Views were great and the location good for visiting various local destinations. The lodge was comfortable and clean. Would definitely go back again. Take some walking boots for the colder months as the paths do get wet and muddy and take your golf clubs too!
Paul from Bexleyheath (18 September 2017)

Holiday was great but lodges not so good. In need of a good deep clean. Oven in kitchen area was in need of a good clean, lots of grease. Kitchen utensils need replacing . carpets need replacing or a good clean. Floor tiles in the on sweet bathroom need looking at as some cracked and in need of replacement. Over all would not recommend.
Alex from East Sussex (17 September 2017)

Great setting, literally beside the fairway with dartmoor views beyond.
Debra (15 September 2017)

Staff were very helpful. Anything you needed the staff done the best to sort it.
Suzanne from Hornchurch (26 August 2017)

Great base for visiting south devon attractions. eden project in cornwall less than an hour away.
Mandy from Nottingham (26 August 2017)

Lovely setting, slight plumbing issue but rectified promptly, . lodge was very nice although high level cleaning was adequate at best
David from Dorchester (25 August 2017)

Lovely lodge only we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the lodge fot the amount we paid for it
Angela (21 August 2017)

The accommodation offered excellent value for money. If you wanted to be picky, it could do with a freshen up & a bit of an update, but considering the price paid against others of that style, location and date I would strongly recommended. The club house staff were extremely accommodating and the food was of a high standard.
Jayne (19 August 2017)

Not worth the money.lodge had cracked tiles in the bathroom, cobwebs in bedrooms, general cleanliness was very poor. Panel on bedroom door had been damaged and poorly repaired. No control over the temperature of the hot tub. These lodges are advertised as vip, but they are most definitely not.
Angela from Shropshire (19 August 2017)

The lodge and setting was lovely. The restaurant was not the best, waited over an hour for our meal with only 4 other tables in. Kids food came on hot plates. This didn't spoil our holiday however and we would stay again
Caroline (18 August 2017)

Really enjoyed our holiday here. Great base for exploring. Comfortable and warm. Bonus was the peaceful setting and hot tub!
Sonia (11 August 2017)

Loved the lodge, it was clean and situated well. One thing, though, golf balls kept appearing outside the door.
Genny from Maidenhead (07 August 2017)

Spent a week at the lodge which was a great location. The lodge was ok but not up to the standard of the vip lodges I have stayed at in previous years. The hot tub was excellent. I would recommend that the small leather sofas which were really uncomfortable be replaced. The lodge could have benefited from a more thorough clean especially the bathrooms!
Claire from Cardiff (05 August 2017)

Location was great, for seeing parts of dorset and cornwall (easily reached within a hour) as well as a great selection of places in devon. My husband played golf or fished in the evening, while my children and I enjoyed the hot tub.
Janice (05 August 2017)

Exellent location to explore the beautifull devon country side and its fabulous beaches,. the cabin came with a lovely hot tub and the staff were very helpfull
Gwyn from Angelsey (29 July 2017)

It was really good the hot tub was amazing
Sue from Bath (17 July 2017)

Hoilday was fine but husband had a accident in the lodge. Carpets had just been fitted and the gripper was not down properly and my husband tripped and badly bruised his toes and were very swollen .
Tracey from Swindon (17 July 2017)

The facilities were good very clean and had everything that one needs on a holiday. . the golf club the staffing from the reception through to the dining area everyone was very friendly, and accommodated our dog. . it was ideal for my parents being 84 and 82 years of age. . . we have booked again in september to stay at the same lodge (alder), near the 18th hole. . the only comment I would make being a pet owner on the verandah it would have been great if there was a gate to close to stop children and dogs getting out as it was not too far from the lake on the 18th hole and deep water to one side. . apart from this a great place.
Janet from Southampton (15 July 2017)

Was told it was disability friendly even phoned to check. Only to find out when we got there it was a really big step up to the decking surrounding the lodge. Friendly maintenance man sorted this after my parents had fallen.
Charlotte from Cambridge (14 July 2017)

Seriously not worth the money. This was a very expensive weekend away and it was so bad we only stayed 2 of the 3 nights. Very dirty, dust everywhere, extremely dated, wood rooting everywhere and cobwebs and dirt all over the outside area around the hot tub. I've taken lots of photos and can substantiate all of my comments.
Martyn from Bath (26 June 2017)

This was my second visit to the lodges. Beautiful scenery. Lovely, spacious lodge. Hot tub a great addition. Location not too far from coastal areas. great club house if you want a meal. Drinks quite expensive but nice wine and good food. Will definitely visit again.
Carol from West Bromwich (24 June 2017)

Lodge in need of overhaul but not terrible.not enough privacy to hot tub . but clubhouse restaurant excellent plus discount for lodge guests.would stay again
Philip (23 June 2017)

The lodges are a bit dated and could be greatly improved by a bit of tlc. The sofas were torn at the back the dining table was very tatty after using the toaster once which tripped all the electricity out had to wait over 24 hrs for replacement which we had to go and collect our self the club house facilitys were very good food and service through out was good bar prices competitive overall a good stay compared to our stay in a lodge in tadcaster it was a bit of a come done
Paul from Guildford (23 June 2017)

A very nice location and very handy having a facility that serves food all day
Michael from Hitchin (17 June 2017)

Great time had s always I think this was our 5th visit, looking forward to our next one
Diane from Polegate (19 May 2017)

Great place, good value for money, comfortable, excellent facilities and good base for business trip, especially if you like golf.
Paul from Emsworth (12 May 2017)

Peaceful, relaxing, clean - we will be back. . . . we grabbed a great last minute deal and headed down to exeter. The four of us (two couples) were greeted by a nice chap in reception who gave us our key and pointed us to the lodge. The lodge was in very good shape and although needing a lick of paint on the outside, was perfect. . . the hot tub was in constant use and we found ourselves sat outside until 3am both nights watching the shooting stars. . we had a few hours on the golf range which was great but spent the majority of the time relaxing in the hot tub. . the only downside was the shower - the boiler was tiny so the showers were literally a quick 2 minute shower then jump out - any longer than that and everyone else would be showering in cold water or waiting an hour for it to fill back up (as we found out on the first night). . . . stayed april 2017, travelled as a couple
Nick from Bristol (24 April 2017)

Really nice lodge clean and plenty of facilities inside. Hot tub was clean. Staff at reception were not very welcoming and didn't explain how to get to the lodge. Think a better map layout would be a good idea and a net protecting parked cars from the golf balls next to the lodges. Went fishing, one of the lakes is very polluted and dirty so avoided that one. Other then that great weekend away. Thanks hoseasons
Rebecca (24 April 2017)

Lovely spacious lodge but in need of a thorough clean. . nice surroundings.
Kevin from Worthing (21 April 2017)

Lodge was dirty and hot tub never cleaned. Vip lodge I don't think so!!!!!!
Carl from Bromsgove (21 April 2017)

Very relaxing week!
Jasmine from Cardiff (14 April 2017)

My kids enjoyed it. Nice new cottage with good facilities. Only down side was, middle of golf course and golf balls over our head & landing on the roof of the cottage
Siva from London (10 April 2017)

The place was great, very helpful staff and location was good
Deeps from Reading (07 April 2017)

We love it at dartmoor lodges. 4th time we've been! and shall be returning! excellent!
Kelly (03 March 2017)

Perfect holiday! we are booking another one with you soon
Christina (24 February 2017)

The lodge was not cleaned before we got there as there was loads of dog hair on the floor and pizza on the table, the hot tub was not ready the day we got there as they said half 9 we had to wait until the morning as it was still stone cold, fb remote didn't work, the tile in the bathroom was all broken. Won't be returning here again
Hope (17 February 2017)

Really nice place, staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Lodge was really nice, spacious, peaceful, relaxing but more attention to detail needed with cleaning.
Stacey from Solihull (17 February 2017)

Really nice lodges very clean and great showers
Jason from Chippenham (10 February 2017)

The main criticism I have is that the lodge wasn't very clean and lacked kitchen utensils. I have stayed at dartmoor edge before with my daughter and that lodge was spotless and better stocked. . on arrival I noticed that the tea towel was soaking wet so had to dry it, there was hair in the shower and the carpet was worn and grubby. I appreciate that we wanted one where we could have a dog but had expected it to be cleaner. it would have been useful to have had a vacuum cleaner so that we could have run it over the carpet ourselves. . the sofa was also well past its best. . that said we had a lovely time and would stay at dartmoor edge again as it is so convenient for the moor and exeter.
Brian (06 February 2017)

We had a lovely relaxing time here. And the hot tub every evening was amazing, even in the drizzle :-)
Joe from Herne Bay (03 February 2017)

Brilliant place great lodges
Dale from Brum (13 January 2017)

Lovely relaxed holiday! . . was a shame that the lodges did not have individual wifi.
Jenna from Exeter (30 December 2016)

The lodge was lovely and quite, although you could still hear the busy road not far away, but this did not bother us. although we didn't play golf, the grounds were great to walk round. the club house restaurant served lovely meals at reasonable prices. the lodge was a great place to use as a base for visiting attractions.
Brian from Godport (30 September 2016)

The lodges were really lovely. The highlight was the very large and very warm hot tub which was perfect! my only criticism was the cleaning could have been better and looked like only a superficial clean of the carpet and kitchen had been done. The toilet also could have done with a good bleach but when I told the staff they sent a cleaner immediately and apologised profusely. The bedding and towels were immaculate. There was no bin in the kitchen but we managed with a bin liner and emptied it daily. The location was excellent being right on the fairway! very easy to find with clear directions on the a30. Will definitely be returning next year. Overall a lovely place to stay for a week. Highly recommended
Nicola from Crawley (24 September 2016)

Tired lodges and an access road that resembles a builders yard. Little privacy with golfers able to stare in the front patio doors. Hot tubs not clean or hot enough on arrival. we accepted the 3rd lodge offered to us. Helpful and polite staff nonetheless.
Judith (12 September 2016)

A lovely four day stay in ash lodge and good value for money. used the driving range a couple of times and one game of golf. would certainly return for a golf holiday and fairly well situated for visiting coastal resorts.
Tracey from Bourton On The Water (09 September 2016)

The staff at this resort are very polite and helpful, the accomodation is ok and quite spacious but depending which lodge you are given watch out for flying golf balls we had a few wizz past the front of our lodge so it is not totally safe for kids to play in front of the lodges. . the noise from the a30 goes on all night and it is very noticable even with doors and windows of the lodge shut. . the on site bar has a small park for kids (better than nothing) the bar itself has no atmosphere might as well be drinking in a dentist waiting room its that sterile. . I would not recommend this place to freinds or family.
Laurence from Newcastle Upon Tyne (03 September 2016)

Great lodge and the weather was good.
Paul from Poole (02 September 2016)

Excellent location, fabulous staff and the breakfast at the club house was very good value for money. The weak point was the cleanliness upon arrival of the kitchen and living area. Bedrooms and bathrooms were fine just required more attention to detail in the main living area. Hot tub was enjoyed by all.
Elizabeth from Ely (02 September 2016)

Enjoyable break. Road very busy. Don't try to cross it, better to go on and come back on yourself.
Janice from London (02 September 2016)

We really enjoyed
Nick from Swansea (02 September 2016)

A beautiful spot and conveniently close to amenities. I would go there again.
Emma from Orpington (02 September 2016)

Excellent 3 night stay but would have liked towels changed every day :(
Julie from Midlands (29 August 2016)

Wonderful holiday so relaxing. Few little problems which were sorted straight away.will go again x
Martin (27 August 2016)

Very relaxing - beautiful surroundings
Andrew from Crowthorne (26 August 2016)

Loved it would definitely come back great vaule for money too
Shaun from Somerset (22 August 2016)

The accomodation was tired, the tables were covered in scratches and glitter! cleanliness- not up to standard. . the windows opened at odd angles.
Alun (06 August 2016)

The holiday was fantastic everything was there for you that you needed, the views was lovely and so peaceful would definitely recommend it.
Emma from North Yorkshire (06 August 2016)

Only a short drive away from exeter and dartmoor, these lodges are situated in a quiet location, although you can hear the a30 a little if wind is in the right direction. We do not play golf, so didn't use the course but it was well used with many golfers passing our lodge.
Lorraine (05 August 2016)

We enjoyed our stay at dartmoor lodges in beech lodge. The surroundings were beautiful and a very convenient location for days out. The golf course and hotel offered good facilities at reasonable prices and the staff were very helpful. Beech lodge was very clean comfortable and well equipped apart from the mattresses which were rock hard and would put me off staying in that particulr lodge again. Other than that we would reccomend dartmoor lodges. It was a nice family location.
Bryony from Holmes Chapel (30 July 2016)

For fairway vip (not sure what was vip about it???)this would be a great place to stay if you are a big fan of golf, situated right on the fairways. Beware of flying balls! we took three young children and there wasn't anything much for them to do which was a shame. The lodge itself was nice but in dire need of a refurb, many furnishings were broken and tatty. We did report some and staff were great .hot tub was lovely, clean and just the right temperature but it was a real shame there wasn't a screen around it as the lodges are very close together so there wasn't any privacy at all - overlooked from all angles. . we still had a great holiday, it was in a fab location off the main road so everywhere was easily accessible but we wouldn't stay again.
Jonathan from Kettering (29 July 2016)

We wanted a lodge central to the area - exeter and dartmouth - this fitted our family well, visiting woodlands leisure park and exeter quay - the lodge was more than we expected . comfortable with all facilities (washing machine, dish washer ect)
John from Bridgwater (29 July 2016)

The fairway lodge was very good value for money. It had I double bedroom with a very large bathroom. There was also a shower room and 1 twin bedroom. The lounge and kitchen was open planned. The lodge was very clean. . outside there was a decked balcony with wooden bench picnic table with views over the fairway and devon countryside. Also your own parking area outside each lodge. . the food in the restaurant was very good and the staff were very helpful. . the park was 30 minutes from most places of interest on dartmoor national park and about 45 minutes from torbay.
Alison (23 July 2016)

The holiday lodge was spacious and comfortable. Overall cleanliness was good but the hot tub had not been cleaned (there was grit in the bottom). we asked for it to be cleaned on several occasions and were assured it would be done. However it was not done so we didn't use it in the end. The site was just the golf club. There were no facilities to speak of so I would not recommend it for families. This would not stop us from returning as it was convenient for exeter and nice and peaceful.
Julie from Lancashire (23 July 2016)

We ended up leaving a day early as the log cabin was noty fit for purpose - very disappointed with hoe seasons - staff there also not helpful
Yasin from Birmingham (22 July 2016)

Lovely lodge, quiet area, perfect base for touring
Tony (16 July 2016)

Although we had a relaxing stay, the lodges are a little tired. Some of the decking balustrade was rotten and unsafe as a handrail. There were a few stray golf balls around the cars due to the nets having fallen down. Some of the kitchen equipment was missing, no grill pan. However, I would say that the lodges were reasonable value for money and a relaxing place to stay, especially with the hot tubs. Be prepared to travel if you want beaches but dartmoor is right on the doorstep.
Richard from Barry (16 July 2016)

Well the location is good, generally peaceful. The accommodation was clean to a satisfactory standard. . . upon arrival first impression of the lodge was good, to me it did have a dog smell (which as they allow dogs I guess can be the norm) - so some air freshener soon displaced that smell. . . the double bed seemed comprised of 2 singles with a mattress joiner - there was a slight differential in height. The mattresses on the double bed were really hard, and for me, uncomfortable - I woke in the very early hours and went into one of the single beds, the mattress was a little more comfortable. . . the traffic from the lodge I was in could be heard through the night, even with the windows shut, so that for a light sleeper could cause some disturbed sleep. . . the general state of the lodge was ok, some little mismatches, lamp stands not matching, missing headboards, different size headboards, artificial flowers (these days and in the country one would have expected fresh flowers if one was going to have any at all) no bedside lamp in the twin room. Each of the bathrooms has a few cracked floor tiles, but were ok to walk on etc. . the tumble dryer had an error code, and with a search on google seemed to need an engineer visit. I reported that on tuesday (i think) and it was not fixed by the time I tired again to use it on the thursday. . . in summery not overly impressed. Not a comfortable nights sleep. I have no plans to return to this lodge.
Paul (15 July 2016)

I will and have recomended your holiday homes to a lot of people. the staff were very helpful and always made you feel that nothing was too much trouble. The lodges themselves are of a very high standard and very comfortable. Thanks again to all your staff for making our stay perfect.
Dianne from Polegate (15 July 2016)

Excellent location with lodge right on the golf course- nice bar and restaurant plus staff very helpful.
Stephen from Birmingham (09 July 2016)

The place had not been cleaned propely. The showers were disgusting. The carpet smelt. It took me and my daughter half a day before we dare take the toddler in the lodge.the lodge wants a thorough wash down with hot soapy water to get rid of all the dust.
Julie from Yorkshire (04 July 2016)

Brilliant location for exploring east devon being only 2 minutes from the a30. . lodge was clean though in need of some updating namely the sofa is tired and damaged in places. . . will definitely return.
Samantha from Sutton Coldfield (02 July 2016)

Brilliant break lovely place and surroundings great time even in our lovely british summer time
Mark (20 June 2016)

It was ok nothing spectacular! the lodges are in need of a little touching up, cracked tiles etc. There was a bit of a funky smell about them too!. . the surrounding area was beautiful and the hot tub a terrific way to end the day. . our interaction with the staff was minimal but a bit of feedback would be, when we handed our keys in on our last day there was no one around so I waited about 15 minutes while they went to find them. When they did turn up she was polite enough but didn't ask us how our stay was? just felt a bit of a poor way to end an ok stay, might have made a difference to our impression. . . . I probably wouldn't stay again unless the lodges were mordenised!
Sharon (18 June 2016)

Lovely lodge overlooking the first fairway. lovely hot-tub. had a thoroughly relaxing weekend.
Martin from Gloucester (13 June 2016)

The staff were helpful & friendly, nothing too much trouble. The lodges are a little dated in need of some refurbishment. The hot tub is a great addition. Overall a great stay.
Customer 89 from Kent (10 June 2016)

We travelled around a lot whilst staying at the dartmoor edge lodges and found we could be at a lot of national trust properties and other areas worth visiting within 30 minutes and further afield in less than one hour.
Paul from Northallerton (04 June 2016)

We wanted a quiet break with a hot tub included and you managed to tick all the boxes ,we were very impressed and would like to visit again in the near future.
Alan from Chippenham (27 May 2016)

We had a brilliant time, hot tub ideal for those with young babies as there's something to do once the little one is in bed rather than tv!
Anne from Dorchester (23 May 2016)

Needs general maintenance in the lodge! x
Hayley from Bath (16 May 2016)

We loved staying here, nice location, fantastic lodge with everything you need in it restaurant was lovely and all the staff friendly and helpful :-)
Wendy from Wakefield, West Yorks (14 May 2016)

Really nice break.
Cheryl (07 May 2016)

The holiday seemed considerably more expensive than last year and the lodge could benefit from some maintenance of the exterior.
Nikki (18 March 2016)

The lodge was a nice size the two bed vip with hot tub . the tv was in need of up dating . the carpet outside of shower room in need of replacement . the shower room was in need of a good clean and the silicone needed to be replaced as rather dirty looking ,. the outside needed a good paint and the wood around the hot tub area needed replacing. . most of the problems were just cosmetic don't be put off !!!!!
Stephen (05 March 2016)

Loved it so much we are coming back in october!
Katie from Trowbridge (29 February 2016)

A lovely family holiday and great place to base ourselves for a few dartmoor hikes. the hot tub was a highlight.
Sally from Helston (19 February 2016)

Pleasantly surprised location beautiful had a great time. clubhouse friendly and meals reasonable prices. Thanks
Michael from Stome (19 February 2016)

Double bedroom was 2 single beds couldn't believe it
Aimee (15 February 2016)

Had an amazing stay at belstone lodge was well equipped very clean so cosy and warm. The hot tub made our stay extra special. We was made welcome and left to do as we please. Would highly recommend and definately love to stay here again.
Taria from Devon (08 February 2016)

Location and area excellent, was great for travelling to coast. Unfortunately the quality of the lodge let itself down, for example the front door kept sticking and wouldn't open, the freezer and fridge doors we're broken and the faulty .the small bedroom window let water onto the bed as it wouldn't fully shut. The master bathroom had a damp smell to it.the small toilet and shower room had mould and top two rows of tiles above shower not been cleaned for months to high for the cleaner to reach .the outside hot tub was wedged between the lodge and veranda so to open and close the lid you have to stand inside the hot tub itself which to me is a safety issue as the lids are quiet heavey.
Glenn from Derbyshire (01 February 2016)

Overall a great lodge and location. . . just a few small niggles. No vegetable knife or roasting tin and only 1 shelf in the oven.
Jill from Merriott (25 January 2016)

We had a lovely 3 night break stayed in the vip lodge with hottub which was well worth it. Perfectly clean and nice sized rooms, bathroom and en-suite. The only downside would be the location we found there wasn't much to do in walking distance. If you want a relaxing break away this is ideal- nice to watch golfers on a morning too.
Laura (25 January 2016)

As a hole we had a great time. The golf course was closed so we had to travel to do other things. I thing they should have a back up wherewe can play golf elsewhere for a fee reduction or give us free use of the range. The lodges were nice but need some tender loving care in the bathrooms where there was no sealent around the bath and even worse in the shower room. Thankyou
Tracey from Bristol (03 January 2016)

A great cabin. Had everything in it we needed. Though from the club house to the cabins it is a dirt track. Very close to the a30. Very easy to find.
Jemima from Yeovil (27 December 2015)

We have stayed at dartmoor lodges at least 5 times and enjoyed our stay but chalets have began to look tired not maintained properly e.g. Rain water coming in through windows.
Christine from Caldicot S Wales (27 December 2015)

Ideal setting, clubhouse. Food very good quality & good value. Would definately recommend.
Stephen from Didcot (14 December 2015)

Had a really great time exploring around the area. The lodge was lovely, cosy and loved the hot tub.
Peter from Staffordshire (11 December 2015)

Myself and 2 colleagues stayed twice for 4nights each week and it more than suited our needs well tooled kitchen and everything worked!!!!
Dave from Wales (11 December 2015)

Unfortunately on this occasion our stay was upset due to the following;. when we arrived on the friday evening we booked a table in the restaurant for the saturday evening and were quite happy to sit upstairs as suggested due to a large party in the downstairs restaurant. We have done this on two occasions previously.on the saturday afternoon at around 3.30pm I received a call on my mobile to say that the booking should not have been taken and that our table had been cancelled. Bearing in mind that we are not local I then had to ring several places in the area to check availability, and due to the time of year nowhere in a ten mile area was able to accommodate us at such short notice. It meant that we had to order and pay for a delivery of a meal from exeter that I have to say was not up to our expectations. So all in all it upset us for rest of stay. I have in the past recommended fingle glen to several people but would n't in the future and that is purely down to feeling really let down at such short notice. Sam I take it the manager had said that they had been trying the lodge all day to try and contact us, however why when they had my mobile number didn't they try that immediately rather than leave it so late in the day. . I will await your comments
Pauline (07 December 2015)

Lovely weekend break, two downfalls, the settees were so small couldn't relax, and no cover on the hottub so couldn't use much as it was raining
Hannah from Southwales (30 November 2015)

Brilliant lodge, would definitely stay again!
Ryan from Wells (20 November 2015)

Beautiful lodges in peaceful settings. fantastic private hot tub. This was our second time staying here and will be booking up again next year x
Maria from Bath (20 November 2015)

Was lovely thank you
Tanya (09 November 2015)

We had a brilliant time and cant wait to go back again, beautiful place to relax get out and a bout, lots of things you can drive to. Its a quiet area but its what you make it and for us it could not have been more perfect highly recomend it x
Joanne from Douglas (06 November 2015)

Lovely lodge but overlooking a car park and near main road, prefer more privacy
Elizabeth from Brierley Hill (02 November 2015)

A really lovely lodge with excellent facilities. Very warm and comfortable with all modern amenities. The golf course surrounding is a lovely setting and we ate dinner in the club one evening, which was delicious and very good value for money. We would definitely stay here again!
Elizabeth (30 October 2015)

The lodges are nicely situated near exeter for a few days wandering round devon . supermarket handy(about 3 miles). pub serving food about 2 miles. We did eat in the hotel on site one evening which was very good. All staff extremely helpful and friendly. Lodge was comfortable warm and clean. Very spacious and the vip lodge that we had was the first one in a row so the hot tub is not overlooked. The traffic noise from local road is noticeable outside but not when you are inside. Overall, suited us perfectly for a few days away.
Philip from Sutton In Ashfield (30 October 2015)

Very nice and clean lodge. Dvd player needs to be updated and slightly bigger tv. Rooms are a good size. Nice to have a choice of a bath or shower. Kitchen is well stocked. Not much about but we enjoyed our selfs. We had to travel to go places. Breakfast a little expensive. But very nice and a variety of choice. Kids loved the hot tub! overall we really enjoyed our selfs and would be back!
Elizabeth from Erith (30 October 2015)

Good lodges and hotub some traffic noise. Restaurant very good
Louis from Newtown (30 October 2015)

Already a regular customer having visited and stayed 3 times over. Highly recommended!
Beverley from Trowbridge (26 October 2015)

What a wonderful setting and a brilliant use of some space on a golf course. . I am a golfer but chose not to play as we used the lodge as a base for a family short break but we did have breakfast and tea in the clubhouse and we're very happy with the standard and price and the staff who are very friendly. . there is enough space between the lodges and we didn't feel cramped or like we were there under false pretences as we're not playing golf.
Paul from Thornbury (26 October 2015)

Really enjoyable week away in a peaceful and relaxing venue. Clean and well kept lodge which was well equipped. Couldn't have asked for more.
William from Kent (23 October 2015)

We have been here a few times and find that the lodges a beginning to look a little tired but we still had a lovely holiday
Leonard from Maidstone (19 October 2015)

A very comfy lodge in an ideal central position to cornwall and devon. . very clean throughout. . will be recommending to family and friends and will definitely stay again :-)
Customer 127 from Weston-Super-Mare (19 October 2015)

Our second visit. If you want a quiet relaxed holiday this is ideal. Hotel serves food all day.
Eric from Essex (17 October 2015)

Enjoyed a nice peaceful break in a very secluded location. drove into exeter (buses don't run on a sunday) which was very close so we weren't short of something to do. would definitely go back.
Lisa from Bristol (12 October 2015)

Well positioned site to visit most parts of mid and south devon
Philip from Barry (10 October 2015)

Spot on
Lesley from Suffolk (09 October 2015)

Lovely lodge and hotub. Perfect for if your looking for relaxation. Unfortunately the beauty salon was fully booked and the restaurant was closed for a wedding so didn't really get to experience the facilities. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Had a lovely relaxing weekend away :)
Jemma from Salisbury (04 October 2015)

First time staying at a lodge very comfortable and definately stay again
Michael from Bristol (03 October 2015)

We had a lovely stay, and would definitely come again. . unfortunately there were filters (none of us are smokers) and toenails on floor when arrived. Think needs more attention to hoovering. Tv not working properly either as colour gone. . apart from that rest of place a high standard. Would recommend
Katherine (28 September 2015)

As a family we loved staying here. I have and will continue to recommend dartmoor edge lodges to friends, colleagues and family!
Adam from Birchington Kent (28 September 2015)

Excellent surroundings, ideal for golfers.clubhouse and restaurant very good value.only problems not enough lounge seating ,and no lighting on pathways at night but on the whole enjoyable and relaxing holiday with plenty of attractions in the area.
Peter from Mid Sussex (26 September 2015)

Fantastic stay only thing I would slightly change is to have more coverage around hot tub as most people can see you. Golf excellent too
Louise from Wolverhampton (25 September 2015)

Fab! fab! fab! highly recommended, will defo be coming back!
Emily from Kent (21 September 2015)

Fantastic lodge with everything you need, lovely peaceful location.. restaurant and bar food gorgeous- top class.
Gail from Gillingham (21 September 2015)

Excellent, couldn't fault the lodge or location. The hot tub was 2 die for. Will definitely be returning
Amy (21 September 2015)

Great location for touring this area, nice and quite and peaceful site
Dave from Grimsby (12 September 2015)

Lodge was nice. It was not as clean as it could have been. Rug in lounge was dirty and bathrooms needed attention due to mould on the shower seals. Cooker needed a good clean.towels and bedding were fresh and hot tub was great.
Duayne from Manchester (11 September 2015)

Lodge not very clean and quite shabby for the price and to be classed as a vip lodge.it was our first use of a lodge and was a special occasion so quite disappointed over all.
Janice (04 September 2015)

A great retreat only really spoiled by no wifi in the lodges and an appalling mobile data signal. If you want to get away from these things though you will love it! very comfortable lodges and good food at the club house. This was my second trip.
Paul from Worcester (31 August 2015)

Fantastic base to explore devon. accommodation was clean and spacious. Needed a little tlc! hot tub amazing. staff were great. overall well worth a stay.
Helen from Peterborough (22 August 2015)

Nice place to stay for couples. Bit far out but fine if you have a car. Don't recommend the food in the golf club. Lodge spacious and clean. Would visit again
Emma (22 August 2015)

Wonderful relaxing holiday beautiful sunset and area. Wont to go back next year .
Martin from Harlow (22 August 2015)

Apsalutly fab ,no unwanted noise what so ever ,clean tidy.hot tub fab.
Colin from Barry (14 August 2015)

Wasnt as good as other lodges we have rented. Not properly clean (crumbs on table, brocolli in high chair, sticky stain on carpet). leaflets could do with being cleared out and updated. Staff weren't happy when we asked for a travel cot that wasn't broken. Disappointing as it had good potential.
Catherine from Surrey (14 August 2015)

We had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday even our 2 teenage children!. our lodge was clean and well laid out , the hot tub a massive hit. Would recommend for a quiet place to explore the area from.
Becky from Dorchester (14 August 2015)
