Had a lovely stay in ash lodge at croft fam water park. The lodge was very well equipped with comfy beds and beautiful decor. The lake is great for the water sports on offer. The cafe/bar and games room on site were adequate for the size of the site and had all the usual offerings. There is also a gym if you feel up to it!
Juliet (03 September 2018)

What a gem of a find, couldn't fault anything, will definitely be back
Paul from Ilchester (27 August 2018)

We had a wonderful time ideally placed for cotswolds touring and only 40 minutes from stratford .our accomadation was fantastic home from home ,we had a lovely little deck area with table and chairs perfect for watching the young ones having a great time on the lake and wonderful sunsets
Customer 3 from Doncaster (24 August 2018)

Excellect accomodation in maple lodge overlooking the lake, perfect location.
Michael from Dyserth (20 August 2018)

Lovely clean and comfortable lodge
Carol (17 August 2018)

Spent a pleasant week in one of the lodges. nice view from terrace but weather not great to sit out. lodge was comfortable but would benefit from an extra chair in lounge area. blinds were very difficult to open and close so ended up not using them.
Maureen from Ludgershall (17 August 2018)

Lovely site, but it would be ideal if it had a small shop on site to buy the essentials. Also I cant believe that in the height of the season the bar was only open until 11 over the weekend and the rest of the week it closed as 4pm.
Linda from Harlow (10 August 2018)

Great place for spending the week trying different water activities
Daniel from Chatham (10 August 2018)

Beautiful lodge nice and clean. Towels and shower gel and shampoo in bathrooms. Washing up materials in kitchen. Excellent and clean hot tub. Excellent views over lake. Helpful and friendly staff. We had a great 10 days there.
Ian (02 August 2018)

Well worth a visit staff helpful children loved it
Jenny from Ross On Wye (27 July 2018)

Great accommodation, still family owned nothing to much trouble any problems they had it sorted in minutes but we only had one minor very minor problem and they sorted. . well done croft farm keep up the good work.
Clive from Rochester Kent (20 July 2018)

We had a simply wonderful 4 nights here. I hesitate in singing the lodge ' s and croft farms praises too much , as i'm afraid that we won't get I again if it becomes too popular! . however, the lodge is very very nice in the most stunning location . . everything , (apart from a can opener) was there. It was spotless, and very comfy. One of the light bulbs had broken, and I could t get the wi fi to work. We nipped to reception and all was rectified . lovely staff. The area is smashing , not that we did an awful lot as the weather was magnificent. There were dozens in fact probably 100 ' s of older school kids there. (last 2 weeks of term very busy ) we loved watching them on the water and walk, ing too and fro to get their meals from the cafe (which is closed during term time I believe .not that we wanted it anyway ). I suppose a down side when the kids are there is the fact that you can't hire equipment very easily as it's being used, or if you take your own then you have to negotiate canoes, swimmers, dragons boats etc. , but we loved it. . we shall, if we can, return asap.
Jill from Leicester (20 July 2018)

Arrived here on a monday afternoon for a 5 day break in one of their lodges (elm). the reception was a little difficult to find as there were only signs for the camping and caravan reception. This is also the reception where you go to check in for the lodges. Was given our key and shown where our lodge was on the map and you could see it from the reception office. There is a barrier you have to go through, a gizmo is attatched to your lodge key, I thought the barrier would pick this up, but you have to drive up to the sensor and place the gizmo on it to open the barrier. The lodge was very clean inside and there was a generouse amount of items provided in the welcome pack tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits etc. Washing powder, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid was also supplied as well as a tea towel and toilet rolls. There was also a good provision of fresh white towels to use as well as complimentary toiletries in both the en-suite and main bathroom. There was a nice coffee maker in the kitchen area, but only mugs provided which didnt quite fit in it. In the kitchen area there was a good sized fridge freezer, four slice toaster, kettle, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Only found user instructions on last day as buried at the back of one of the floor kitchen cuboards around a corner. But have to say that most equipment was easy to use. I couldnt get the wi-fi to work on my phone as it was a very week signal, but thankfully I have loads of data, so wasnt really an issue for us. There is a good sized tv in the living area and comfortable 3 seater settee and armachair, there was also a blu-ray dvd player which wasnt mentioned on the web site. There are also tv's in both bedrooms. The en-suite shower room was very nice with a lovely shower and the main family bathroom was also very nice with a bath and shower over. I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and if I layed down in the bath my feet toughed the bottom. The bed in the master bedroom was also quite comfortable, but thats down to personal taste. A bit disapointing was the outside of the lodge, especially around the decking area as it had quite a few cobwebs and dead insects. The decking outside had a table and four chairs which were also comfortable and as advertised the sunsets are truly spectacular (clouds permitting). there are currently 7 lodges in place here and hard stands have been constructed for about another 20 I would estimate. Some lodges have hot tubs and others like ours do not. I would have to say that I thought the lodges were quite close together as from our kitchen window we could see right into the next lodges dinning area. There is only one parking space per lodge which could be a bit tight if you have a large vehicle and the road between the tiers of lodges is also very narrow with no passing places, not really an issue at the moment but could be in the future. When we arrived it was blazing hot, the lodge had been locked up tight and when we opened the door it was like stepping into a sauna, sooooo hot inside. We opened all the windows and patio doors in an attempt to cool the place down. Being townies we didint realise that being near water you attract a load of small flying insects. When we went to go to bed that evening our bedroom ceiling was swarming with these tiny insects, took a good hour or so to eliminate them. So from then on if we opened a window we made sure that no light was on nearby (not an issue during the day, just at night). the owners are really nice and very friendly and are really trying to make a go of this place, but there is a lot going on here. We were even offered a fan to use if we wanted one, but we had already brought our own, thanks to my wife. First and foremost this is a schools adventure holiday park. There must have been well over 200 children here during our stay. These ranged from junior school to senior school ages. The first full day were were here that lake was very active and noisy from about 9.30 am to 9.30pm with a quiet time between 12pm and 2pm. There is a path which runs right infront of the lodge, but lower down, so they dont walk right infront of you. This is used two to three times a day by groups of 20/30 at a time going for lunch or evening meal in the on-site cafe. They seem to operate this in shifts. Due to the sheer number of children staying here during our 5 day break we were not permited to use this cafe. Have to say that some of the language as these youths passed by us was not pleasant at all and on one occasion there was quite an altercastion between a couple of them and if that wasnt bad enough I heard on of the 'leaders' use language just as bad. Must stress that this wasnt the norm and as the week went on they seemed more subdued each day. If booking here I would strongly suggest checking to see if they have any schools staying during your visit. You can also rent a variety of craft to use on the lake from paddle boards, kayaks and peddle boats, but wouldnt recommend it if the schools are here because the lake is manic with loads of excitable children and teens alike. Felt quite sorry for the ducks and swans. If you are fortunate to go when there are no schools then this place is quite indilic in many ways being only about 10 minutes from tewkesbury and right on the edge of the lovely cotswolds. There is a pub by the entrance called the cross keys, this does not serve food and is mainly a real ale pub. There is a morrisons superstore in tekesbury about 15 minutes away as well as a brewers fayre a bit further along. Also have to say that it was quiet at night and we didnt experience any rowdy behavior during the night time, slept pretty good.
Gary from Kent (13 July 2018)

2nd weekend visit in less than two weeks - love this site, lodge, facilities so much so we have booked to come back again in september. Lodge is spotlessly clean with every last detail taken care of (would benefit from a chopping board in beech lodge didnt have one in both our stays (and forget to mention to site, am sure they would have supplied one if we had mentioned it as they are very helpful and accommodating..but it literally has everything else you could imagine). hot tub with a lake view guarantees an amazing time at this site. Stunning sunsets. On site pub is very laid back and has a surfers feel, which we adore. Staff are all friendly, helpful and clearly enjoy there jobs which makes for even better atmosphere.
Jane (09 July 2018)

Reception straight forward. cafe pleasant but only open weekends during term time. some noisey music from campers in field friday night only, rest of week quiet. will be nice when site gets more lodges and some landscaping. water sports expensive.
Angela from South Shields (06 July 2018)

We stayed in the elm lodge and it was fantastic. Couldn’t wish for better accommodation or location. Plenty going on during the day but peaceful during the evening. lots of nice places to visit locally and really friendly staff. the perfect place to take a well behaved dog. Will definitely be booking another visit next year.
Lynne from Coventry (29 June 2018)

Excellent surroundings and lodge beautiful. Would definitely come again.
Alan from Gateshead (29 June 2018)

Very nice lodge, shame the clubhouse is not open monday to friday, it would have been nice to be able to walk over for a drink.
Florine from Waterlooville (22 June 2018)

An excellent lodge in a beautiful location. all staff were very friendly and helpful. the weather was not the best with a high breeze which stopped us eating out on the verandah which we did the first evening with the lovely lake sunset views - see photo. the only thing that could have been beneficial but not essential would have been a few more mugs and items of cutlery as the 6 place settings for 4 people meant the dishwasher often had something you required in it! we would definitely recommend.
Pam from Bristol (18 June 2018)

Fantastic if you want to relax. When we arrive everything had been thought of, ie, milk, tea, coffee sugar. Something you don't get everywhere. Nice touch, could have a good old cup of tea as soon as we arrived instead of finding a shop and gasping for longer. The staff where so friendly nothing was or would be too much. If I was going back to holiday in that area again I would most certainly book here again.
Andy from Portsmouth (15 June 2018)

Great view from our deck over the lake. Very comfortable and clean lodge.
Susan from Clitheroe (15 June 2018)

Lovely, modern lodge. Site needs a good restaurant as café/bar is grim. Fly served in between gammon & egg wasn’t great and when complained was advised it was only out of the egg pan!. . restaurant prices but not even as good as fast food interior. . . watersports were great, plenty to do, and reasonably priced.
Jade from Tamworth (11 June 2018)

Our weekend at croft farm was perfect. Just what the dr ordered! peace and tranquility overlooking the lake. The staff were very helpful and I had a lovely meal in the clubhouse. Liked it so much that i’m going back in october.. I think i’ve found my new favourite place!
Sally from Sutton (14 May 2018)

We absolutely loved our holiday. We stayed in the ash lodge in may monday-friday short break. . the lodge was of such a high standard. We were so impressed by how stylish it was along with it being comfortable and clean. . the park was an ideal location for us. We used the facilities on site my 3 year old loved the paddle boat. It was also a short distance to the bird sanitary and steam railway. . we had such a fantastic family holiday and wouldn't hesitate to come back again :)
Louise from Eastbourne (11 May 2018)

Absolutely loved the lodge. The view from the lodge was good. Only things I can pick on were , cups with no handles, needed a coffee table in lounge area as nowhere to put drinks when watching tv and parking abit tight if u have someone in the lodge opposite . bedroom was lovely plenty of space and storage and a major plus having a king size quilt on a double bed !!!! food in the cafe was excellent although only open towards the end of our visit.
Theresia from Nottingham (30 April 2018)

Although the accommodation was good the site certainly wasn't. . . from around 8 am until 6 pm daily the site was filled with workmen and work vans making relaxation very difficult and resulting in us spending our days out and about much more than we would have liked. . the owners did apologise saying they were getting the site ready for a big open day. not my problem, if they were happy to sell holidays then the site should have been guest ready. had we been informed of this beforehand we would never have booked.

Nice lodge, lacking in some areas (i.e range/quality of kitchen utensils). good to have a tv in each bedroom. Also it advertises there is wifi (which there is) but in our lodge the signal was so weak, it was literally impossible to load basic web pages.

It was our second visit. we took a couple of mugs with handles as we remembered the ones in the cottage didn't have handles. a coffee table near the sofas would be helpful.

Came here for christmas beautiful log cabin new site so alot of work needs doing to surrounding areas. However log cabins are beautiful and very well furnished. However few little niggles. One towel per person for 4 nights I wouldn't have minded but no towels for hot tub. Second it says about a welcome pack. When asked we got told it was 2 pieces of paper. Not the usual welcome pack for log cabins. 3rd said there was free wifi the 2nd day wi-fi had ran out with the kids watching youtube. The owner of the site wasn't there so left everything to chris, now if it wasn't for chris going out of his way we would have been disappointed with the customer care. Chris went above and beyond. Chris has superb customer service skills and made our stay what it was. So thank you

We stayed for a few nights for our honeymoon, arriving in the dark on a freezing night. richard showed us to our lodge which was warm, modern, spacious and homely. added to the personal touches was a christmas tree to brighten up a december stay. . the hot tub was fantastic, stayed warm for ages, and there was a floating tray for our glass of wine! . . . I would thoroughly recommend elm at croft farm water park. it was a perfect choice and didn't disappoint.

Lovely lodge and view of the lake. Beautifully decorated and felt very clean and well kept. Not enough utensils for cooking eg would be good to have plastic glasses for use in hot tub, champagne flutes, bottle opener etc. Fridge not working properly but they did provide us with a small work top fridge to use. . a lot more lodges are planned which maybe will spoil the view and peacefulness of the place.

The location was spot on and just what I hoped for. The whole weekend was a surprise for my girlfriend and she had such a good time so I can't complain! we rented some kayaks for a reasonable price which meant there was some variances to our normal week. All in all, it was a great weekend away.

First impression of the lodge was fantastic, beautiful place furnished and very clean. They provide you with everything you need. The staff were more than helpful, one night a couple of lads in another cabin were being loud after 11:30pm -you're told be quieter around that time. The staff sorted this out instantly. The hot tub was cleaned daily by the staff, the only downside is there wasn't much to do on site! the lake is beautiful though. I would definitely go again!
