Lovely lodges and facilities. Nice treat seeing the local deer/stags
Catrina from Peebles (15 April 2018)

Lovely location with the deer in the park. lots of space in the lodge, very clean and a great hot tub. its only downfall is the poor lighting in the lodge.
Jo (09 April 2018)

We spent a weekend here in the bluebell lodge during the easter holidays. The holiday park was quiet during the day and night times and although we went on a cold weekend, the hot tub kept us warm- well maintained (the water is checked each day) . the lodge was beautiful although I was gutted there was no dishwasher. Except from this I couldn’t fault the lodge, area or staff.
Mark from Glasgow (08 April 2018)

Lovely place, good if you like peace and quiet..no facilities apart from lundrette..but it states that!
Sarah (06 April 2018)

Lovely roomy lodge. Well equipped. Clean apart from dog hairs on rug. Plumbing snags dealt with promptly.
Peter (06 April 2018)

Poor advice on facilities available. No information on how to deal with rubbish. Poor selection of kitchen equipment.
Julia from St Albans (02 April 2018)

Tired and furniture was bad been before but this time last as it isn't cheap had better for less wont be back
Carol from Armadale Westlothian (02 April 2018)

Lovely lodges. Really homely and comfortable. Excellent location for a quiet get away, or for an adventure with the kids!
Sarah from Renfrewshire (26 March 2018)

The only thing that let our holiday down was the rug in the living room was covered in dogs hairs which set off asthma.
Laureen from Falkirk (19 March 2018)

Very nice lodge. Very roomy
Richard (19 March 2018)

Lovely place, everything you need, very clean.
Lesley from Jarrow (16 March 2018)

Arrived around tea time just before reception closed, easy check-in, key was in door and everything was ready for us. Very clean and comfortable, the heating was on and it was very cosy. Felt like going from home to home, there was even a blanket, treats and bags for the dog. Very good value for money.
Alexis from Strathkinness, Fife (16 March 2018)

Lodge had a few things broken tho nothing that could ruin our trip I would higly reccomend conifer lodges & hopefully I will return with my family
Clare from Kklmarnock (12 March 2018)

Only thing was signposting for our lodge was not very clear especially as the park is so dark. We spent a fair bit of time looking for our lodge before luckily finding a member of staff who guided us
Julie from Paisley (11 March 2018)

The lodge was lovely. But location is to far from any known supermarkets or shops. Not much info on local attractions so spent most the week in the car looking for something to do
Samantha from Portsmouth (09 March 2018)

Very pet friendly site, nothing too much trouble for the staff if you need anything just ask
William from Workington (05 March 2018)

Great time here for a relaxing few nights away from home! this was our second visit and was just as good as the last time! plan on returning next year around the same time again.
Nicola from Glasgow (02 March 2018)

We got to the lodges early friday evening and were impressed with the amount of space available in the master bedroom as well as the living space. Everything we needed was here for us. . . the hot tub was very good. The surrounding area was cery nice and the walking trails were 10 minute drive from the lodges. . . the lodge was spotless when we arrived and I would definitely recommend coming gere again for what was a nice peaceful break. The cost of the lodge for what we got was great value for money.
Ryan (26 February 2018)

Lovely relaxing break in beautiful surroundings
Claire from Coatbridge (26 February 2018)

Keith from St Helens (16 February 2018)

We had the best break away and still can’t get over how nice the cabins are!
Lynsey from Glasgow (09 February 2018)

Had an amazing long weekend at conifer lodge. We arrived on a cold, dark february night and were met with a warm cabin with lights on awaiting our arrival. Was fabulous to receive blankets, bowls, poo bags and packaged bonios for my 2 dogs too!
Morven (05 February 2018)

Great for the break we needed hot tub really lovely and warm ,chalet warm and cosy with everything you need will be back again

Angela from East Kilbride (12 January 2018)

Great weekend getaway, lodge is fully equipped and the hot tub is a must!
Rebecca from Edinburgh (03 January 2018)

We had a lovely new year in this fabulous lodge with the hot tub.
Philip (03 January 2018)

Everything was great. However, wifi was no existant the whole time. Never even came and went, just mever connected. I didn’t bother to complain though. Everything else was great.
Lyndsay from Houston (03 January 2018)

Was very good, not enough cooking pots were only three? apart from that, very good.
John from Clydebank (30 December 2017)

Lovely place and the small touches made it perfect. Home from home feeling.
Jacqui from Gloucester (27 December 2017)

Love it here
Carol (04 December 2017)

Really enjoyed our stay great place for a quiet weekend away. Only downfall could do with more street lighting at night as can be very dark when out the dogs at night.
Karen from Innerleithen (27 November 2017)

Fab place for rest and relaxation. . 1st class accommodation.
Alexandria from Ayr (27 November 2017)

Loved our whole experience only comment I would make is that I think the hot tub would benefit from a canopy to protect you from the rain.
Pamela from Glasgow (27 November 2017)

Great lodge and hot tub just went for chilled weekend
Colin from Manchester (20 November 2017)

Great holiday. Will definitely come back again. Also loved the hot tub
Gary from Dalkeith (20 November 2017)

Lovley log cabin the hot tub wasn’t very private x
Nadine (17 November 2017)

Lodge was spotless but when I pulled up the bed cover to put over the duvet I noticed a few dirty stains on the underside of the cover.not too nice and let the overall impression less than it could have been
John from Erskine (17 November 2017)

Brilliant relaxing stay
Brian from Glasgow (13 November 2017)

Excellent stay in the bluebell lodge. Facilities where of a high standard and the loss was extremely clean. . the hot tub was an excellent way to end a relaxing day !. . will return 2018
Graeme from Paisley (10 November 2017)

Perfect chilled weekend with friends and family. Lodge was lovely and had everything we needed and the hot tub was an added bonus. Clean and all the facilities we needed. Would definitely return :)
Michelle from Glasgow (06 November 2017)

Stayed here for a long weekend in november, been many times now, staff are always great. lodge was fine could be doing with new carpets in bedrooms, the curtains were all stained like yellow stuff of them. Heating was brilliant had to turn it off most days as was too warm. hot tub was brilliant as always :-) newton stewart town only a 10 min walk which is ideal to get out of lodge for a while few pubs as well. would stay again.
Angela from Glasgow (06 November 2017)

Myself and a group of girl friends stayed in the lord galloway lodge for 3 nights recently. The lodge was beautiful and so well equipped. Everything was perfect really. The only disappointment was we could’nt all fit in the hot tub together. I would highly reccomend this park and the lodges.
Fiona from Dumfries (06 November 2017)

Overall good lodge. comfortable and warm. wifi was practically non existent and the lights that you couldn't switch off on the balconies obeyed the letter of the law but not the spirit of the law for a dark sky area.
Sheena from Irvine (30 October 2017)

Very nice and clean place
Donna (27 October 2017)

Great place to stay, excellent lodge great location
Peter (27 October 2017)

Wonderful, peaceful environment. Lodges very clean and well maintained. hot tub blissful! staff very helpful and pleasant to deal with. will definitely be back and hope to upgrade to the lord galloway lodge next time.
Pamela from Glasgow (20 October 2017)

Perfect little get away . . the owners couldn't help us enough . . I asked them to put up some decor and fake candles for me for my partners birthday and they did it with no hesitation . and they blew up balloons too (i did send them the package of items to do this ) . . . my partner was pleasantly surprised . . it was the best touch . . the got tub was secluded and we saw an absolute gorgeous sky at night . . it was a perfect retreat
Kelly (20 October 2017)

Always love going to connifer lodges, been a few times now & we've also been to other log cabins but newton stewart is always our favourite!
Demi (16 October 2017)

The best place . love it mainly for walks
Lesley from Doncaster (16 October 2017)

Very clean tidy and welcoming staff very helpful.
Thomas from Hawick (13 October 2017)

Very good couldn't fault anything...
Shirley (13 October 2017)

Great lodges
Kim from Hawick (09 October 2017)

Lodge and hot tub were lovely but the sofas could do with being renewed.
William from Ayr (09 October 2017)

We travelled to conifer lodges as a family of 7 adults, 3 year old and 2 dogs for my partners 30th weekend. We arrived at the lodge which was lord galloway number 32 and we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the lodge was and very tastefully decorated. The only down side to the lodge was that when it rained the decking became very very slippy. There were signs telling us that decking may be slippy but we didn’t think it would be ridiculously slippy especially when they have a hot tub which is going to lead to some water laying on the decking never the less a few changes of clothes for a 3 year is only normal slippy decking or not. The lodge has everything you need from a clothes horse to oven trays I was very surprised how well it was equipped. Loved the fact you can have things delivered to the lodge too which made forgetting a swimming costume less of a drama than I thought. All in all we were delighted with this lodge and would recommend anyone to stay!
Rachael from Aberdeen (09 October 2017)

Fabulous. Lovely lodge. Everything you could possibly need for a great stay.
Frances (09 October 2017)

Lodge needs lighting looking at.
Karen from Redcar (06 October 2017)

Lodge was smelling of curry and continued throughout our stay. I mentioned is to staff on leaving but did not see anyone prior to this. We were out most of the day so it didn't spoil our stay but it was very strong
Lorna (02 October 2017)

A peaceful place to take a short break with both forest and coastal walks within easy reach.
Customer 61 from Cumbria (29 September 2017)

Staff are lovely. L8dge had everything needed and shops are in a village few miles drive. Lovely peaceful holiday .
Gerald from Newton Stewart (25 September 2017)

We have been to a lot of lodges in the past and conifer lodges is one of the best.
Gary from Fife (22 September 2017)

Excellent for families, lovely town. Just a shame there are no on site facilities.
Peter (18 September 2017)

Relaxed and refreshed
Lynda from Dumbarton (18 September 2017)

Really chilled break, site staff resolved initial issues very quickly, making it easier to relax and enjoy our break
Ian (15 September 2017)

Felt lodge was a bit tired and living room decor quite dull lighting could have been better. Shower doors kept running off rails water pressure in the lodge and in the hot tub was poor. Starter pack good and nice touch to provide dog bowl blanket and biscuits however felt price was high for time of year .
Myra from Ayrshire (15 September 2017)

Loved the holiday have been several times gutted can't go next year due to being fully booked already
Anne from Telford (04 September 2017)

Great value for money, only reason not booking is found similar lodge in dunfermline with more activities but definately the place for a relaxing break
Colin from Glasgow (04 September 2017)

Had a nice week but lodges need money spending on them & refurbishment. Been to lots of lodges with hoeseasons & these were not the best. Carpets stunk of dirty dogs & cabin was scruffy.
Customer 70 from Warrington (25 August 2017)

Very good hope to get back again
David (25 August 2017)

The lodge was immaculate and well equipped , the hot tub was fab , the site was lovely and peaceful . the only negative was we found it was in middle of nowhere with not many places to visit in the area
Debra from Sunderland (21 August 2017)

Very nice place to stay, quiet and peaceful.
David (21 August 2017)

Was a nice enough lodge and the area was lovely, only rated things a because we didn't really have any interaction with staff and the facilities were ok for what was on site. . . in fairness, the isle of wight had set really hay standards from the year before.
Dave from Northwich (21 August 2017)

Lovely, clean and comfortable lodge, perfect break wuth the family.
Lisa from Chester (18 August 2017)

Ideal for a peace and quiet out of the way holiday to take dogs or just relax
Mandy from Dipton (18 August 2017)

We love going to conifer lodges. We go every year. It's great. A bit pricey but worth it.
Laura from Ayrshire (14 August 2017)

We stayed in a lodge that was starting to look run down. the couch was worn and the floor was coming up at the kitchen area.
Craig from Ayrshire (11 August 2017)

Excellent lodge, beautiful area.
Donald from West Kilbride (11 August 2017)

This is the second time we've been here and love this site.
Yvonne from Bury St Edmunds (11 August 2017)

Had a fantastic time .. would recommend conifer lodges fantastic value for money .. staff were fantastic
Sharon from Edinburgh (11 August 2017)

Amazing. Definiently coming back soon.
Rose from Glasgow (07 August 2017)

Cabin was great staff were lovely only thing was hot tub was far to warm and only one setting but everything else great
Jacqueline (07 August 2017)

A great park and the lodges are really home from home.
Tracy (04 August 2017)

I had a great stay from start to finish, stayed in a bluebell lodge,so peaceful, hot tub was perfect for relaxing in and enough privacy, the only downfall is the wifi signal but I went for a relaxing break so not having a good wifi signal was the last thing on my mind,i am definitely booking here again, highly recommend conifer lodges to anyone looking for a nice peaceful relaxing break
John from High Valleyfield (04 August 2017)

Excellent place, very relaxing. Pity weather rubbish..but it is scotland !
Joyce from Erskine (04 August 2017)

Loved every minute
Gary from Radcliffe, Manchester (28 July 2017)

Amazing 4 days away, would highly recommend conifer lodges to anyone who was great value for money if you want a relaxing holiday this is the place for you, amazing scenery too
Victoria from Newcastle (28 July 2017)

Very good .lovely quiet location and hot tub a great addition.
Jane from Wakefield (28 July 2017)

Had a great time. We hope to return in the future.
Morag from Inverurie (24 July 2017)

The location is lovely, however, we stayed in bluebell lodge which we found very dark, the kitchen was tiny, with hardly any worktop space to cook a decent meal, no wardrobe in the bedroom, had to walk out into the living area to get your clothes, which where in a cupboard!! plenty room for a small wardrobe in the bedroom area instead of a set of drawers.. I would perhaps pick another lodge if we ever stayed again, but wouldn't recommend this one unless you want to be in the dark all day..
Karen from Greater Manchester (14 July 2017)

Very peaceful and relaxing already booked to go back next year can't wait
Derek from Forth (10 July 2017)

Lovely holiday, lodge was clean, fit for purpose and very quiet. Bed was a little hard. Location very good and local town (1 mile away) had all the shops we needed.
Christopher from Lewes (10 July 2017)

Blundell lodge was lovely, very clean and spacious. Only thing I would say that was not so good was I don't think they tended to the hot tub. Any other log cabin I have been too the hot tub was checked and cleaned every day but as the days were going on the hot tub was getting worse. Cabin itself though was great
Loraine from Bo'Ness (07 July 2017)

Me and my partner went for my 30th and it was amazing everything from the log cabin to the forests would definitely come back again
Kerry from Rotherham (07 July 2017)

Absolutely fantastic holiday lodge was amazing everything and more would come back again most definately
Julie from Aberdeen (03 July 2017)

Beautiful surroundings and very nice accommodation. Met all our needs. Town only 10 minutes away for food, drinks and shops. Definitely be back!
Melanie from Largs (19 June 2017)

Like quietness of the area and convenience to newton stewart and other small towns
Agnes from Erskine (16 June 2017)

Our accommodation was upgraded because of decorating problems with bluebell lodge, making our stay extremely good value. Staff were very helpful with information by e:mail before our holiday and throughout our stay. . no. 34 galloway lodge was very well appointed with all that you could wish, all finished to a high standard. Slightly disappointed with the immediate outlook where some lodges had been removed leaving that area a little untidy, otherwise the site was well maintained.
Carole from Leyburn,Yorkshire (16 June 2017)

I had an enjoyable holiday but would have appreciated the bird mess being removed at the bottom of the hot tub.
Julia from Biggar (12 June 2017)

Me and my family had a great long weekend at your lodge. It was much nicer than pictures. Kithen had all the essential equipment needed. Surrounding area lovely. Hot tub was great. Will defo return to your lodges
Sue from Glasgow (12 June 2017)

We had a two bed lodge with hot tub. It was clean and had everything you needed. Staff were all very polite and helpful. great location
Jodie from Shrewsbury (02 June 2017)

Excellent accommodation, helpful staff and the hot tub was a real bonus. Great location for the galloway forest (walking/ cycling and wildlife a plenty). walking distance to newton stewart for local amenities.
Sarah from Preston (02 June 2017)

Lodge lovely with everything inside you would need.the only thing I would say is the tennis court is slightly run down, the children loved going to it because it gave them a little independence.
Marion from Dumfriesshire (29 May 2017)

We had an excellent stay at the lodges! we will return with our friends and family as soon as we can
Suzanne from Glasgow (29 May 2017)

Lovely lodge clean and tidy but kitchen in need of some repairs. Hot tub a added bonus, well maintained. Grounds well maintained and quiet.
Matthew (26 May 2017)

The lodges was lovely and clean and the surroundings was very peaceful with plenty of wildlife.
Terence from Hunmanby (26 May 2017)

The log cabin was beautiful, clean and the manager laura ,the staff made us welcome.
James (26 May 2017)

Stayed many times, lodges clean comfortable, staff great, just lacks a small shop for bread milk ,papers ect and would be perfect
Julie from Ayrshire (22 May 2017)

We had a fabulous time at conifer lodges hot tub was fantastic & private, can't wait to return . only one thing I would change is the steps going into the hot tub would be bolted to the ground as was very unsteady .
Thomas from Blairhal (15 May 2017)

Brilliant place, brilliant staff, brilliant stay. Would recommend and definately will be back.
Matt from Edinburgh (15 May 2017)

Was really nice no bother at all. Nice friendly staff.
Stephanie from Dundee (08 May 2017)

Absolutely wonderful stay at a lady galloway lodge. so relaxing and set in beautiful and peaceful woodland surroundings. amazing value for money. Will most definitely be returning as soon as possible. Quite simply loved it. have stayed at lodges in other locations but this was so handy to walk into the town of newton stewart or a 1 minute drive for the lazy. plenty to do in the surrounding area...or just relax and enjoy spending time in the wonderful hottub..bliss!!
Karen (08 May 2017)

Great accommodation and surroundings
Paul from Liverpool (01 May 2017)

Excellent place we have already booked back up
Stephen from Bedlington (01 May 2017)

Very disappointed have been a number of times but not for a couple of years. paid for a luxury lodge. the lodge was very tired definately not a luxury lodge. furniture old and worn looking. No dishwasher which we have had previously when have stayed. for what we paid for the stay in a luxury lodge definately does not come up to that level
Victoria from Erskine (01 May 2017)

Lovely lodges, great location and nice town locally.
Stephen from Hamilton (01 May 2017)

Fab weekend! beautiful lodge! we did get a telling off for being in the hot tub at night which to be fair was annoying. You pay for the hot tub its enevitable your going to go in it at night having a few drinks!!!! other than that great lodge and great you can take your pet.
Karen from Larkhall (01 May 2017)

Very nice and quiet surroundings.very peaceful and hot tub is a must
Scott from Dreghorn (24 April 2017)

Absolutely stunning park with amazing views accommodation was top class as always will definitely be back
Gillian from Glasgow (24 April 2017)

The lodge was clean and tidy. We have stayed in other lodges and this one was the smallest; perhaps a bit too small for the 4 of us especially the 2 bedrooms and kitchen area. The surrounding area is very nice with plenty of walks to do in the area. Newton stewart is a nice town to visit. . only niggles were the bathroom fan didn't work and the hot tub was on the small side.
Roger from Ilkley (21 April 2017)

Lovely and clean with quiet surroundings. Great location as a base to go mountain biking from. Overnight bike storage very useful. Spotted a red squirrel on the site!
Joanne from North Tyneside (21 April 2017)

Had a lovely relaxing break , log cabin was lovely had everything that was needed , hot tub was brill.red deer park and wild goats are a must really lovely area to visit will deffo be back. Topped off by the deer and amazing big stag outside log cabin morning and evening amazing sight
John from Paisley (21 April 2017)

We had a lovely weekend break walking and sightseeing in the area. The lodge was comfortable in a great location
Stephen from Hamilton (17 April 2017)

It would have been helpful to have had the information of what's included in the lodge before we got there, as there was a washing machine which was great but one set of towels, sorted this by buying washing powder though.
Stacey from Dundee (14 April 2017)

Very friendly staff and beautiful location, only negative the wi-fi was terrible.
Andrew (10 April 2017)

Beautiful spacious can. ..only down side was lack of facilities. .beautiful surroundings and hot tub cleaned daily by a handsome young man..added to the view..lol.necessities ie washing liquid towels etc were provided..def recommend
Diane from Klmaurs (10 April 2017)

The lodge was perfect for a family of 5, my children are all teenagers, so we had all our own space. The hot tub made it for me. Conifer lodges is very tranquil making this a relaxing holiday. Only downside was poor wifi, which was more of an issue for the kids than it was for me.
Sarah from Duns (07 April 2017)

Had a lovely relaxing time. Everything we had hoped for x
Lorraine (31 March 2017)

Never seen any staff as arrived late , key in door . lodge dated and had a strong smell of dampness so felt it was over priced
Customer 130 from Ayrshire (13 March 2017)

Our holiday was amazing everyone in our party between the lady galloway and lord galloway lodges had an amazing time. A friend has already rebooked to come back in the summer. . the only downside is we ate out on the sunday and not 1 person had a nice meal at the local hotel so I would advise to avoid that and stay home with the well equipped kitchen.
Amanda from Airdrie (13 March 2017)

First time at this site and we loved it! lodges were superb and we will definitely be back.
Claire from Glasgow (06 March 2017)

Had a fabulous time with my husband and two sons.
Gail from Grimsby (24 February 2017)

We really enjoyed our holiday. The holiday park is in a beautiful location, the lodges were spotless and the staff were all very friendly and happy to help. We would definitely go back for another holiday.
Lisa from Durham (24 February 2017)

Lovely quiet site, lovely setting and we'll equipped lodge. We loved the hot tub. Fantastic area to explore and ideal for families.
Jenny from Haddington (17 February 2017)

As it was our honeymoon, it was perfect for us, total relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of family life, just chilled in the hot tub couldn't have been any better.
Joanne from Blackburn (17 February 2017)

Relaxing just what we needed. Great walks for the dog, close to town.
Lisa from Greenock (13 February 2017)

I spent 3 nights up here in bluebell lodge 7 and ive got to say it was absolutely amazing, the lodge itself was perfect and everything you needed was there, the bed was really comfy too. The hot tub was always warm and a bonus that it had its own rear garden area so it was a lot more private. I'm already looking at booking up again for later in the year to make the most of the surronding areas as this was a relaxing weekend away that I had booked
Stephen from Hexham (13 February 2017)

Fanatic long weekend away. Couldn't have asked for better:
Brian from Glasgow (13 February 2017)

The lodge was a little tired, in need of a revamp, the floor tiles were starting to peel the staff were great upon arrival and there was information in the lodge about the surrounding area.
Antony (10 February 2017)

Hot tub lovely n warm.
Jane from Irvine (06 February 2017)

We had the most relaxing time in the beautiful lady galloway lodge, so peaceful and in a lovely location couldn't ask for more the lodge itself was stunning 10/10
Claire (06 February 2017)

Fantastic find will definetly be back to this amazing area.
Robert from Clydebank (06 February 2017)

It was excellent value for money due to the time of year. It was particularly dark walking from the housing area to the lodge at night. Perhaps a couple of lights would be helpful.
Robert from Glasgow (03 February 2017)

Excellant
John from Saltcoats (30 January 2017)

Best ever
Kelly from Conifer Lodge (27 January 2017)

We had a lovely relaxing holiday amongst the lovely timber lodges and trees. lovely and tranquil with beautiful scenery yet close to town if you needed anything. would certainly go back and I would recommend these lodges to my family and friends for a getaway break.

Great base to explore the area. The cabins are very well equipped with everything you need and more. Would highly recommend for all types of stays.
