Great time lovely area, really recommend
Janet from Ashby De La Zouch (01 October 2016)

Very good
David from Northants (24 September 2016)

The cooker was very slow to cook, and some cooking utensils were missing. Toaster only made bread dry and did not toast. Fridge was functional but needed bigger freezer for self catering. double bed was small and uncomfortable so had to sleep in the single beds which were not much better. Only one two seater settee dipped in middle so I had to use dining chair throughout stay. T.v kept cutting out and did not have many channels.
Annette from Eastbourne (24 September 2016)

Very 1960's decor . park is generaly tatty , although clean and tidy it could do with a makeover. We have stayed in the main building and in a mews apartment, both of which was like staying in your great grans house , very clean, old fashioned and not very well equiped .but the staff are very nice , friendly and helpfull .
Colin from Corsham , Wilts (17 September 2016)

Enjoyed our stay very much. Tbh the caravan could use a little tlc, there are some worn areas and items but the caravan was very clean and perfectly inhabitable and the few areas in no way effected our stay in any way. Overall the site is very clean and the staff knowledgeable and helpful, and the location is fantastic.
Bruce from Rushden (02 September 2016)

Small park but in a fantastic location. Would definitely return. We stayed in a gold caravan and the quality of the caravan was fantastic. Didn't use the bar or restaurant on site or the pool as was so much to do in the surrounding area.
Nicola (29 August 2016)

Holiday was fab . location was amazing can't wait to come back next year for a week
Becky from Northamptonshire (29 August 2016)

First time to combe martin and only 2nd time to devon (always been cornwall before) and have to say the location and views are amazing :-). I loved the fact that you could walk to the beach and didnt have to worry about driving and finding somewhere to park and having a pool on site to was fantastic. Even though the bar is small I preferred that as it made it more personal and friendly . the entertainment was just about right. We had bronze accommodation and whilst it wasn't the best condition (it was a bit old and just needed some tlc) it was clean and did what we needed it to. we have booked a gold chalet for next year for 2 weeks and have to say the price is very reasonable for high season. Only downside was the hills :-) but you get used to them after a few days and it certainly gets you fit but not suitable for less able bodied persons. Overall we had a lovely week at combe martin and would highly recommend it to anyone.
Sandra from Ruislip, London (15 August 2016)

It was like stepping back to the 1980's. The entertainment area needs to be larger and the caravans need modernising. Apart from that it was great.
Mark from Kirkby In Ashfield (13 August 2016)

It was very enjoyable holayday I give out of 10 9
Mohammed from Bradford (13 August 2016)

Bronze caravan was dated but very clean and very cheap. The kids loved the pool. The location was perfect for dogs with the beach nearby.
James (13 August 2016)

Site was ok, but limited facilities, although did have some evening entertainment for small children. Only a small shop (off site) and a long distance to a supermarket. Site and entrance very steep and hilly.
Peter from Birstall (12 August 2016)

Not what we hoped for, entertainment and facilities in the club house was very poor. The food was average but the frustrating thing was after only being open for 20 minutes they did not have the meals they advertised on the menu available. I tried to order 5 meals and 3 were not available so had to order something else from the limited menu. Very disappointing. The gold caravan was acceptable. I would not recommend the site to anyone. The literature says the other park is a short walk away, it is not! it took 25 minutes and it is not safe to walk as there is no pavement or street lights. I expected much more for my money, I paid close to £600 for a 4 night stay and to say that we were all disappointed is an understatement!
Stephen from Weymouth (12 August 2016)

The bed sheets smells like its been stored for moths or years in a damp storage. That was one of negative side including the shower in two chalet rooms without shower.
Connie from Chesterfield (12 August 2016)

Last minute cheap budget chalet, will upgrade next time as although clean did not have sower and single beds had plastic covered mattresses on, never mind. Loved combe martin so park was across from the beach and it was pretty and not too busy. Club on camp did reasonable food and a lovely view over the sea
Julia from Alcester (05 August 2016)

The children s evening entertainment was very poor, little or no attempt to lead or engage with children. Disappeared for 10-15 minutes to come back dressed as a fox. The kids morning club didn't seem to exist nobody around when we looked for it. Heating in the pool turned off overnight. . steps into caravan dangerous. High, narrow, steep and slippy. no room to open the door without going back down the steps.
Sarah from Hereford (05 August 2016)

The reception staff were absolutely fantastic and very helpful, as was the lifeguards at the pool. They were all so friendly and clearly enjoyed their jobs. . I would definitely stay with my family again.
Neil (05 August 2016)

Great location but park is very out of date & facilites are limited. Apartment looked like an old peoples home, studio flat slightly better and had a great view, however no shower only a bath and not enough hot water it didn't fill the bath enough to wash without waiting for the boiler to refill.
Chris from New Forest (05 August 2016)

We had an amazing time at the combe martin holiday park! really enjoyed every minute. The children loved the pool and the disco and entertainment. The accommodation was spacious and clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and helpful. The only thing that was disappointing was that there was no facilities for washing clothes with 5 kids and the fridge and freezer compartment were way to small for 7 people. But overall we enjoyed every minute of our holiday and would recommend the site to friends etc. Thanks for a wonderful holiday.
Lucy from Gloucester (05 August 2016)

The location of combe martin beach has a beautiful view over the stunning cove. The onsite restaurant/takeaway served decent enough food for average value. . the village and beach is lovely and great to explore at sunset. Ice cream places stay open late too.
Janette from Soham, Ely (30 July 2016)

Fantastic location and view. Helpful staff and great food in the bar. The only downside was the caravans could do with tlc!
Rebecca (25 July 2016)

Good location chalet needs little tlc but would definitely recommend
Melanie from Nottingham (23 July 2016)

We had a lovely week at combe martin beach with our 3 year old son. We stayed in a platinum caravan, which was very modern and spotlessly clean on arrival. We could get from our caravan to the beach in 5 minutes. We also found it was a great base to visit other local towns and attractons. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
Gary from Oldbury (18 July 2016)

Unfortunately double bed unsatisfactory, poor quality.
Anne from Freshwater Isle Of Wight (08 July 2016)

Very nice park in good location
Nick from Bath (11 June 2016)

Great location, lovely clean accommodation, friendly staff, my family really enjoyed our stay and will definately be returning!
Emma from Birmingham (03 June 2016)

Great apartment very spacious with stunning views. Small club house area but all staff friendly and helpful. Could do with some work to bring it a bit up to date but when you see the views it offers you really don't mind some of the dated areas of the main building. Very steep in places like a lot of the whole general area. Woodland walk was also enjoyed.
Claire from Chalfont St Giles (03 June 2016)

It was fantastic experience for my kids . they enjoyed much and the scenery was awesome. Near the beach as well . overall it was really good .
Madeline (03 June 2016)

Was a lovely site although if you have a child that needs a pushchair then I wouldnt say its a good site due to thevery steep hills that are on the site but the views are absolutley beautiful. The other aspect of the holiday that we liked was the separate beach for dogs to socialise and play.
Natasha from Wolverhampton (03 June 2016)

Great location - caravans can improve but it's ok for price.
Ankit (30 May 2016)

Very nice place
Keltoum from London (30 May 2016)

It was a basic holiday, the chalet could really have done with an upgrade a while back but it was a pet friendly chalet with kids and dogs in it, had it have been amazingly re modelled I would have worried more. It was ideal for what we needed. Staff were so helpful at every turn and the kids loved the kids club and foxy. Outdoor pool could be open more as only open for the saturday not sunday of bank hol weekend and it was warm enough. Can't complain for the price and combe martin is lovely
Debbie from Usk (30 May 2016)

Combe martin is a pretty little town and the site is in a good location. It is very difficult to get around as it is really steep (it does advise this on the site clearly). because of this the views are great although the site not recommended for anyone with any sort of mobility issue. The bar and facilities were very basic and small (pool not in use at easter). we had a deal for a bronze chalet for much cheaper than the advertised price and this was fine for a cheap base to sleep as we went out all day every day. If we stayed again I would need to stay in a much higher grade of accommodation but considering the full price for the bronze chalet i'm not sure it would be value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. I felt very sorry for the two guys who were running the kids club: we turned up one morning and were the only people there. A couple of other children turned up later and they sat outside on the steps painting a large canvas sign in the cold. The staff were trying to be as enthusiastic as they could given the circumstances but they seemed to be working with limited resources which was impeding their ability to provide a good experience for the children.

The area is fantastic but the site is very run down. they allow dogs in the chalets but then not in the bar area therefore we did not use the facilities and walked into town where there was a fab pub called the dolphin which allowed dogs in . . we didn't meet any staff apart from when we checked in and out.
Elizabeth from Kidderminster (31 October 2015)

Nice place value for money. Would not book less than a gold caravan. Site is very steep so take note of mobility advice

Lovely location although a tricky entrance in and out of the site. Awful accommodation but nice staff.
Diana from Reigate (26 October 2015)

Very enjoyable holiday, area very beautiful, site very clean and organised,.staff, particularly reception, very friendly and helpful,.accomodation excellent,. thankyou. Mr & mrs c. Holmes.
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Prestatyn North Wales. (25 September 2015)

Bedroom had a lovely urine aromour and the boiler broke, so cold showers only.
James from Birmingham (31 August 2015)

Worst holiday ever it was disgusting smells horrible don't waste your time or money like I did. I only stayed there 1 night because I couldn't get back home the same day I arrived.
Loretta from Wolverhampton (31 August 2015)

Very tired and dated . entertainment and facilities very basic. Location couldn't be better. We took 2 dog's and the chalet was far bigger than expected.
Kate (29 August 2015)

Although we enjoyed the holiday itself the park looked a little tired and needs some updating. there didn't seem much entertainment on offer either. the location was lovely and had some super views.
Nick from Cleethorpes (28 August 2015)

The location was quite good as we could walk into the village which due to the lack of entertainment was a god send. Apparently all the entertainment was at the sister site sandaway, which was half a mile up a steep unlit path. We walked up once early evening, we asked the kids did they want to go for the entertainment the both said no way! (aged 14 & 9) I wouldn't recommen it for families who wish to stay on site as we have been to haven, parkdean and park resorts which all offer far better entertainment. . the pool area was not cleaned once in the week we were there (the same bobbles and leaves were there all week and also spikey brambles were growing along the floor in the pool area where the kids were bare footed! ) there was also a big sign sign saying pool closed weds but it wasn't,it was actually closed on the thursday! surely we should be able to access the pool every day of of our holiday. Also the chorine levels were checked whilst my children were in the pool, they must have been low as the lifeguard then added chlorine to the pool whilst the children were in the pool, surely this could have been done prior to opening as we went in around opening at 10am.
Sean from Stockport (22 August 2015)

Combe martin as a destination is very nice , liked the village and easy to get to lots of other places and things to do in the area, enjoyed our week exploring the are and it was combe martin carnival week which was good.
Jane (15 August 2015)

Great , 100 yards to beach and town (shop), swimming pool, club house/bar ok on site .
Chris from Wallingford (14 August 2015)

Very clean caravans, park and facilities. Great location overall a very enjoyable stay.
Sarah from Midlands (14 August 2015)

Lovely short break only downside could do with little shop on site bit of a trek to get morning papers etc
Julie from Royston (14 August 2015)

Lovely location the accommodation and facilities a little dated the pool was very dated.and very cold I wouldn't have said. It was well heated but beautiful location had a lovely time
Petro from Bristol (10 August 2015)

Great location, although not for people with mobility problems as lots of steep hills. Accommodation in need of updating, but clean. Entertainment and food very poor
Emma from Poole (10 August 2015)

There was maintenance work going on all week from the apartment opposite where I was staying from 9 in the morning . it was not nice waking up to all that noise
Chris (08 August 2015)

Fab family place. Combe martin is a brilliant location for a holiday. Plenty to do.
Claire (07 August 2015)

The chalet was dirty mold on the walls. Insects coming through the bath the beds were rock hard. There was no entertainment on site as advised when I booked the holiday there was entertainment overall very disappointed
Andrew from Coventry (07 August 2015)

Exceeded expectations based in price. Clean, tidy accommodation and park just as advertised.
Paul from Towcester/Northants (31 July 2015)

The location of the site was excellent in a beautiful bay but it was very tired and needs updating. They did not have my name recorded correctly and so lead us to believe we were not booked in on arrival even though I had my confirmation email. Not the best welcome after a long drive with small children!
Kirsty from Leeds (31 July 2015)

The accommodation was beyond basic with cracks in the walls and v poor decor. My son was on the put up sofa bed and we requested pillows and linen for him and was told no one was available to get any and that we should just complain when we got home so we ended up purchasing our own pillows, entertainment is great if you like karaoke. Area is beautiful would return to combe martin just stay somewhere else.
Andrew from Cumbria (27 July 2015)

The location of this holiday park is fantastic, combe martin is a beautiful village with a brilliant beach. the park is just a couple of minutes walk into the village or to the beach which really contributed to the quality of our holiday. unfortunately the park seemed rather tired and neglected: the bar and restaurant was fine but nothing special and the children's playground was tatty. most disappointing was the pool which was ok but was inexplicably shut twice during our stay with staff unable to shed light on the reason. This is not what we would expect in high season during the school summer holidays and did spoil one of the reasons why we chose this park. if any money is to be spent on the park I would prioritise the pool area as there were missing tiles at the bottom of the pool.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (25 July 2015)

Wonderful time location was fantastic would recommend this vwnue to all.
Brian from Gloucester (24 July 2015)

Very quite park and close too, beaches. Beautiful part of the world although it rained for most of our stay :(
Rebecca from Market Harborough (18 July 2015)

Pretty location, but very hilly.close to the beach and shops.club house very limited, but ideal base for exploring area.
Philip from Pontypool (17 July 2015)

Very clean and tidy caravan, and fantastic value for money. Great location.
Susanne (10 July 2015)

The area is lovely and the locals made us feeling welcome. Especially everyone in the dolphin inn, which is only round the corner from where we had stayed. Beach is clean and nice too. There is loads to do near as well that's good for kids such as watermouth castle and wildlife & dinosaur park.
Kim from Nottingham (03 July 2015)

The caravan was tired , the parking was difficult to say the least and the turning point was blocked by a camper van , the site was in a perfect place , there was no where outside the caravan to sit and have a relax , the road the caravan was on had a fence then a cliff , the caravan was clean and tidy when we arrived which was nice .
Larry from Upminster (27 June 2015)

The park is in nice surroundings with good views unfortunately the caravan we were in was old and smelt of dog urine and had rust on the fridge . the entertainment was non existent the pool was closed most of our stay. It's a shame with the position of the park it could be excellent.

The park is situated in a good position , with great views, the staff were very helpful and did offer us alternate accommodation. Once we had swapped our chalet for a caravan we had a great time.
Carol from Dunstable, Beds (29 May 2015)

When we turned up to our bronze chalet we were seriously disappointed! it was old and smelly....it smelt of quavers and beer! it's outside appearance was no better it was the old single pained glass floor to ceiling windows (very cold) and the paintwork was crumbling away! so we spoke to the management and they moved us to a bronze caravan which was very small for five of us (it sleeps 6) but it was clean and didn't smell so we took it. We went to the pub/clubhouse/main reception on our first evening where we walked into a dated old room with the most outstanding view! we ordered food from chefs corner a little take away place in the corner of the pub and waited nearly 2 hours for our food! the staff were polite and curtious but the food that turned up was substandard and the polystyrene container had huge holes burnt in the bottom of it! we didn't go there again on our holiday of five days!!! the pool area was shabbyg to say the least... my daughter kept passing me loose tiles off of the bottom of the pool so they didn't keep hurting her feet! the paving was uneven in places to the point that you had to watch your step so that you didn't stub your toe! but the view from the pool was amazing and the life guard was polite and kind! if the park upped its standards, with the location its in (couple minutes walk from the beach) it could have been nice. We will not be revisiting.

The site is ok. Our chalet was situated on the hill overlooking the house. We did not have an allocated parking space which was a problem when it was raining as we had to park quite a way from our chalet. The chalet itself was clean. It was classed as bronze so I wasn't expecting much. the problem with these chalets, and i've stayed in a few, is that bronze doesn't mean that it is basic, it means it is badly maintained. This one had a double glazed window and door. The other windows were badly fitted wooden ones that let in the wind. There was a massive crack in the wall by the bath. The shower is in the bath so if you are an older person it's very awkward. the floor creaked and I was invaded by tiny spiders one night. cheap though, so you get what you pay for. It's the reason why a lot of people save up and go abroad. Shame really because the price is good, and more people could be attracted if the accommodation wasn't like hi de hi.

We were lucky enough to have been up graded to a silver caravan. Unfortunately we found that the heating in our room wasn't working and the main light was out, but we had other lights in our room was, so as we were only there for a couple of days we put up with it. . the views were lovely and we had a lovely time.
Sarah from Aldershot (20 April 2015)

Nice place, accommodation a bit dated. To hilly for us!!

Combe martin holiday park is on a very nice location with local shop and bus stop. Staff are well behaved but when you need them they are not available. Because of staff shortage. Restaurant is really nice. Food prices also ok. Holiday park is congusted but tidy.
Rehanuma from London (10 April 2015)

Very small park with very little to do on site however this provided a very relaxing break. . . there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area and at the sister camp a few hundred yards away.

Already second time at combe martin. Never failed us to enjoy the place especially our furry friend. Thanks.
Pacumbala from West Bromwich (06 April 2015)

Enjoyable stay over easter break - relaxing friendly environment and staff
Sharon from Tipton (06 April 2015)

When we arrived we had to wash cups glasses and cutlery as all were dirty very disappointed and the plates were all wet when we took them out went to go cook on saturday morning to find you need lighter or matches to light the cooker which we had none I really think this should be told to you when you book or leave something to light it also a great hole in middle of the drive as you turn in with broken pipe in it that could cause a puncture if not noticed as no warni sign

The venue was nice but could do with arefresh, we stopped in an apartment in a building that contained 4 seperate apartments, there was only minimal heaters and the bathroom windows would not close so everything was a little cold and damp during our stay, the front door and windows also rattled when it was windy. other than that the place was clean and comfortable with great staff and amazing views. the site could do with it's own little shop as there is not much in coombe martin in the way of food shops.

Great will definitely stay again
Michelle from Malvern (03 April 2015)

This is a small site, so nice and quiet. The location is great with fantastic views and easy access to a beach. Not a great deal in combe martin but you are a short drive from lots of other resorts and beaches. . some aspects would benefit from a spruce up, but other than that it was a lovely place, the staff were great, very friendly and helpful and there was a kids entertainer who was great. The bar meals were good as well - all appeared home cooked. We had an enjoyable break and may well return.

If your looking for a base to travel from combe martin is well situated for getting out and about with plenty of things to do in the out lying areas
Ged from Blackburn (01 November 2014)

Excellent location, walking distance to the village and beaches. Wouldn't use the one site restaurant again though.

Had a lovely relaxing holiday , whilst caravan could be in need of updating it was a nice budget caravan for the price
Wendy from Harlow (31 October 2014)

Very clean and a bargain for the price we paid!

It would be useful to have a small outlet for milk and bread and other items as it is quite a walk to the shop if you struggle with walking up hills.
Wendy from Glos (26 September 2014)

As this was pet friendly accommodation we didn't expect first class accomodation but the fridge/freezer wouldn't have been out of place in the local skip. Other than that it was really great.

Lovely people in charge entertainment very good
Michael from Ashford Kent (12 September 2014)

Although relax and explore the clubhouse was poor. Food was good and well priced.no shop facilities. And what entertainment there was was very poor.
Robert from Luton (30 August 2014)

I was informed upon booking that the site was unsuitable for people with mobility problems however being 8 months pregnant and having 4 kids the steepness of the site was an issue.
Su from Shrewsbury (30 August 2014)

We stayed in bronze, a good update is needed, didn't have a saucepan or tin opener but they gave us new ones, no problem, we would stay again but in a better caravan, stunning views, a bit of a steep climb to the caravans. All in all we had a great time.
Jenny from St.Albans (30 August 2014)

The worst holiday I ever had and the only time I actually left the site on the day of the arrival and took my family to sleep at a nearly premier inn hotel . dirty , rusty , smelly and potentially dangerous immediately underneath a huge tree located with unkept surrounds , the caravan had been unblocked and sanitary towels and other waste left at the back of the caravan within access to children !!! v v v poor hygiene !!
Samuel from Aldershot (29 August 2014)

Fridge rusty and unsightly. Miserable depressing décor and tatty furniture. Table stools looked fit for the bin and I am not that fussy a person normally but even by my standards whole caravan very run down. In fact we vacated the holiday a day before the week expired.
Claire from Liverpool (29 August 2014)

Lovely location but real jack of facilities on the site, no laundry room , no shop, poor play park
Esther from Kent (23 August 2014)

The view from the chalet was the only nice thing about combe martin beach. the whole place was extremely outdated, even the play area. the only reason I have marked a 5 for the staff was because they did acually undertake a repair on the day we complained.
Paula from Durham (22 August 2014)

The bronze caravans are definitely past their best - need to be replaced & updated.
Gail (22 August 2014)

Very clean and pleasant park however the club house was limited and site facilities in general limited.
Robert from Aylesbury (22 August 2014)

Lovely park set overlooking combe martin bay. Small and quiet it is best suited to families or older couple as entertainment is limited.
Caroline from Southampton (18 August 2014)

The room wasn't very clean and there were several spiders in the room that had to have been there for a while as they had large webs
Tania (16 August 2014)

Fantastic area and surrounding s but caravan old and musty and not very comfortable . pool facilities could be better . food average and service not very friendly .helpful maintenance man!
Sarah from Little Hampton (16 August 2014)

Good value, excellent location
Simon from Horsham (15 August 2014)

Enjoyable holiday with beautiful surroundings. Caravan clean and spacious.
Hayley from Leicestershire (15 August 2014)

I was looking for a better play area for the children, more teens activities, better swimming pool area. for hoilday is all about my children and if are not satisfy I am not. the only good thing the area reminds me of home.
Sherril from Gosport (15 August 2014)

The swimming pool was not open long enough. 10am - 1pm then 2pm - 5pm. There was no shop on the site..nightmare when wanting basic provisions like milk and bread etc.
Lee from London (09 August 2014)

We were not happy with the accomodation, but everything else. Was very good.
Catherine from Worcestershire (09 August 2014)

We really enjoyed the location of the site and its close proximaty to the beach.
Andrew from Helmshore (09 August 2014)

Good holiday, clean caravan although the shower felt like it may fall through the floor when I got in (im not overweight!). nice helpful friendly staff. entertainment sufficient. would go again.
Elizabeth from Kidderminster (08 August 2014)

Very hilly steep site. Beautiful but must be fit to walk the hills !!!!!
Rachel from Preston (04 August 2014)

Really enjoyed our stay - I have already left a review directly on their website. Hope to return very soon
Venetia from Winchester (02 August 2014)

Smaller park which suited us just fine, booked a budget caravan with a bit of apprehension but not really expecting much, but was pleasantly suprised, the caravan itself ( no.52) was older than other caravans and a bit tired but it was very clean and comfy. . the only down side was the location of the actual caravan which backed onto the play park, quite noisy at night (kids playing out gone 2300hrs) might be a problem if you got youngsters.
Justin from Poole (02 August 2014)

The caravan was dated, smelt and felt damp. The fridge was rusting on the outside as was the legs of the stools. In need of an update. We used it only as a base and spent little time in the van therefore it was bearable for a week. Would we rush back definitely not.
Dawn from Worcestershire (02 August 2014)
