A small, friendly site that is very tidy, with lovely accomodation and lovely staff throughout.
Ian from Yeovil (16 April 2018)

Went second week in easter, was very quiet and caravan in good condition. Central heating. Pool was great, they allow inflatables and you can store them inflated at the pool. Location good for portland and for heading west to abbotsbury and lyme regis. Well run park, helpful staff.
Howard from Amersham (16 April 2018)

Lovely site at the gateway to so many attractions. Unfortunately our child was in hospital for the first two days and unable to use the swimming facilities after then but we still found lots to do. Friendly staff.
Richard from Bognor Regis (14 April 2018)

We found it very clean ,it could do with a better food menu. Not a lot for the children to do after there club. But would recommend it
John (14 April 2018)

Took my twin 4yo here in easter. We had the best time, great location and facilities. Highly recommend.
Rebecca from Worthing (14 April 2018)

The park and staff were lovely, caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. The only thing we were disappointed with was the fact that the football and basketball area was unusable. Unfortunately there was quite a lot of rain before and during our stay which meant the football and basketball area was flooded. obviously the holiday park can't help the weather but if they had a hard playing surface for the basketball area instead of grass this area could still have been used, giving something for the slightly older kids to do.
Amanda from Dorset (13 April 2018)

Was a lovely week in chesil vista. Only had two "gripes". the mattresses in the apartment were horribly springy, uncomfortable and drastically need updating. The amusement arcade was ok. But nowhere to get change and the "grabby" machines were only refilled on the monday. The rest of the week, they were practically empty, but that didn't stop my daughter feeding it pound after pound with still no win. I did mention this to a member of staff, but n notice was taken. . we didn't eat from the restaurant/takeaway. Reason being, we saw lots of people returning food and complaining. We went to the nearest takeaway (about 10min walk).
Mark from Devon (13 April 2018)

The road works laying down the pipeline meant major traffic queues it took approx 40 minutes to travel 1.5 miles to the chesil vista location so we had to plan when to leave and return to the holiday camp - the works we were told have gone on for a few months already and they do this every fifteen years replacing the electric main cable to the main stretch of portland. . the customer service was fantastic all of the staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive from reception, caravan maintenance, swimming pool, shop and bar - in fact the service stood out way and beyond the facilities and layout. . the entertainment for adults was very amateurish, and the comedy/singing acts we ended up clapping and laughing more to give these poor acts a morale boost as not many people laughed or clapped through most of the acts. this was in the easter holiday so I thought paying peak prices we would have a higher quality of entertainment. . the caravan layout - fine if your car is a small to medium size car however have a 4 x 4 5 metre car plus and best hope you advanced driving course skills guide you carefully! the space allocated for turning in to caravan car park allotted bays is some what very conservative - this really needs to be address for future customers. . the customer service was fantastic all of the staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive from reception, caravan maintenance, swimming pool, shop and bar - in fact the service stood out way and beyond the facilities and layout.
Wol from Welwyn Garden City (13 April 2018)

This is the first time I have stayed in a static caravan and it was so much better than I expected. The caravan itself was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need and expect. It could have done with cost hooks and towel hooks if I was being really picky but apart from that it was a home from home experience. The grounds were clean and tidy and the onsite facilities were great - lovely playground and swimming pool and the entertainment was really great fun - we only saw the children’s entertainment but it was fun for parents too. I wasn’t expecting much and this far exceeded anything I was hoping for. I would definitely do a holiday like this again after this experience.
Mark from Watford (13 April 2018)

Extremely clean, the swimming pool was warm and lovely. Caravan was very clean and spacious. You could hear some of the entertainment at night but it stopped at 11pm and was quiet.
Sara from Southampton (09 April 2018)

Excellent site facilities and caravan , clean and well presented. Lovely pool and club house with entertainment. All staff very helpful and friendly
Pamela from Rayleigh (09 April 2018)

Lovely week, will be back.. issue with cooker in caravan solved really quickly. clean and tidy site, nice and quiet. only fault was the food available, only options pizza, chips, burgers etc. more variety please, panini, baguettes, pasta, salads to balance out the fried stuff. would definitely recommend for a family holiday.
Claire from Reading (07 April 2018)

Lovely, comfortable caravan. Fantastic evening entertainment. Had great time.
Lorraine (07 April 2018)

Very good short break the family enjoyed our stay.
Margaret from Coventry (06 April 2018)

This was our first experience in a caravan park, and we loved it. this is a great location, fab views, fun entertainment. only fault would be really poor web access and no dryer in the launderette, which to me rendered it useless
Esther from London (06 April 2018)

Lovely staff, good entertainment and nice food. Caravan was well equipped.
Craig from Bristol (02 April 2018)

The club is amazing. The entertainment is great and how it is set up allows my son to have the freedom to make friends and go to the arcade and ball pit.
Rebecca from Wesnesbury (02 April 2018)

Great break especially when the weather was awful.
Ash from Woking (02 April 2018)

Great location. Comfortable caravan. super views. quiet.
Janet (31 March 2018)

Lovely park with great facilities.
Zoe from Sheffield (24 March 2018)

Location excellent, site clean and well maintained, caravan acceptable, although single beds far too small for adults, (would choose a larger caravan for comfort) pouffee/stools inappropriate and uncomfortable for adults at dinning table would suggest more appropriate seating be provided, being partially disabled a provided service of pre making up the beds would be appreciated and would be willing to pay for such a service, an instruction manual of heating system is both necessary and essential, site entertainment facilities are good but consideration should be given to the lateness of time that major stars preform, not all adults wish their children staying up till nearly midnight,
Linda from Melksham (28 October 2017)

We always enjoy our holiday at chesil vista and the staff are very helpful.
Rodney from Plymouth (21 October 2017)

The staff were brilliant - everyone without exception was helpful. Swimming pool was great - when we went, hardly anyone was in it, and the small gym was well kitted out. Entertainment was varied, and the food served was to a good standard.
Deborah (20 October 2017)

Had a fantastic relaxing week. Location is brilliant. Staff were excellent, very helpful and polite and always cheerful. There was everything you needed on site and accommodation was clean and comfortable. Would definitely return there again.
Cheryl from Brixham (16 October 2017)

Went for my husband birthday for a week with all the family staff very helpful and very friendly
Lisa from Basingstoke (07 October 2017)

Very clean van very good value and we are back next year
Peter from London (06 October 2017)

The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. The site facilities were very good had a well stocked shop with daily deliveries of bakery goods & the launderette was clean and very reasonably priced. The only down side is you have to pay for wifi in the caravan which was very expensive.
Helen from Eastbourne (25 September 2017)

Caravan was great, and the park is well situated, albeit small, a small camp shop where you can get all you need, I personally think that a holiday is about the whole experience, we were woken by refuse lorrys on the park emptying bins at ten past six am I think that's worth a mention, and for me I found weymouth frustrating with its carparks that don't take money, you have to pay by card, then you have spaces designated just for motor homes, stay there to long and you get a ticket like I did. There is quite a lot to do, nothe fort is worth a visit, and of course portland with its famous lighthouse.
Paul from Braintree (23 September 2017)

We have stayed here about 6 times now we love it because the complex is not so big but entertainment is good for adults and children. Also ideal for getting about exploring dorset
Lorraine from Peterborough (16 September 2017)

A very good week had by all we re booked for next year
Paul from Alford (16 September 2017)

The holiday park was well laid out and all the holiday homes looked as if they were fairly new. our avenmore 8 was very clean and in good condition, although the double bed mattress had seen better days. . there were plenty of things to keep children occupied, and the evening entertainment, on the whole, was good and varied. There was one downside: the onsite restaurant menu was extremely limited, and some of the cutlery was dirty.
Anon from Cambridgeshire (09 September 2017)

Good site, facilities, however price was real top end of the spectrum.
Craig from Chesterfield (02 September 2017)

Fab holiday no complaints really enjoyed the week
Stephen from Buxton (26 August 2017)

Parks not really suited to families who have got young children
Nick from Alton (26 August 2017)

Loved the site . the caravan was very small for an 8 berth , so I didn't think it was value for money and the decking area very small too
Charlotte from Banbury (26 August 2017)

The grandkids had a great time. They loved the pool and soft play area.
Debbie from Orpington (26 August 2017)

Location was lovely - beautiful views and a reasonable distance to local area - outstanding bus service. we ate in the diner one night - massively overpriced - served a near raw pizza and plastic chips - too tired and disappointed to do anything about it. overpriced bar on some items, but not others. Entertainment poor. Swimming pool dirty, rubbish in the jacuzzi, no life guard in the pool room on our first visit, and on the second he spent more time in the loo than anywhere else. Plants growing through the walls - looks fit to collapse at any point. Water slide was terrible - small child kept getting stuck but only one was allowed down at a time and the attendant couldn't care less. Fox poo all over the outside play area. Only 2 washing machines in the laundrette - not enough for a site that size, even though it is small. Reception welcoming, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Caravan lovely, couldn't hope for better.
David (26 August 2017)

If I was highly critical the caravan could have been cleaner and the bed linen more modern. Certain entertaining staff outside of entertainment times could have been more pleasant. great for my toddler, although I strongly recommend the soft play area should be supervised by staff as parents just dump their unruly children and bugger off! the food is overpriced and very average. The chip shop on site should re open. The entertainment is also a repeat of the previous year so that was a massive shame. Overall though we love it there.
Daniel from Aldershot (26 August 2017)

The park itself is very good with lots to do. If anything it is a little expensive for a static caravan compared to previous lodge holiday we have had.
Phil (26 August 2017)

Nice caravan already book next year
Kenneth from South Wales (26 August 2017)

Having a disabled husband it is very hard to find somewhere that is easy to move around. This is the bst site that we have been on since my husband has been wheelchair bound. All staff were so helpful.
Cheryl from Redditch (26 August 2017)

Van was classed as new modern. . shower had very low pressure. Shower door fell off. Fridge door snapped off brackets. . doors would not shut. Not enough outside chairs. We were 5 people only 3 chairs outside. . our mattress was worn and uncomfortable . was surprised no easy walking access to beach.
Ricky from Northampton (26 August 2017)

Lovely caravan, very clean. Facilities and surrounding area fantastic. Only real gripe was having had an accident in the swimming pool that required an a&e visit had no follow up nor checking of the situation from reception/site manager.
Paul from York (25 August 2017)

Excellent
Glen from Didcot (25 August 2017)

Enjoyed very much. Lots to do in surrounding area. Kids loved the sports field but there could be a slide or swings added. . . the pool was a bit small as it got very busy. . the entertainment was brilliant, much better than other holiday parks that we have been to. It was difficult to get a seat at night though so we were stood up with our drinks until there was a table free. . disappointed with the arcade as the 2p machines kept sticking on one side when putting the money in which the kids were not happy about.
Nigel from Manchester (25 August 2017)

Great park, good caravan, love the area. Arcade needs a complete overhaul as most of the machines were not working properly and the prizes were very poor unless you wanted to save up tokens. Clubhouse good - some great acts. Restaurant food was great but more choice/variety needed - very limited menu for the prices charged. having said all this, we enjoyed our holiday and will be returning next year.
Teresa from Dunstable (19 August 2017)

We all enjoyed our holiday and would consider staying here again, if we were in that area of the country in the future.
Paul from Tipton (19 August 2017)

Lovely clean and tidy park and excellent caravans
Lee (19 August 2017)

The entertainment staff are amazing and made the experience for us! facilities were fab. Just need to fix the slide so there is more water in it. The caravans were clean, tidy and modern. Highly recommend!
Louise from Staffordshire (19 August 2017)

Very clean lovely fews ideal location
Tracy from Feltham (19 August 2017)

Check in - excellent and fast. Caravan - good size however bed in the master bed was so uncomfortable the mattress seemed really old. Also smelt slightly of wee. Pool was to cold so we couldnt stay in it for long. Otherwise good. I will book somewhere closer to weymouth beach next time. Did not realise chesil beach was stones
Jane (14 August 2017)

Fantastic holiday and great value. The kids absolutely loved the facilities and entertainment. Would definitely visit again.
Greg (12 August 2017)

One prob caravan was dirty ive seen dust dirt but def not like that perhaps given them broom kitchen flooor so grey with dust overal very happy
Sandra from Guildfotd Surrey (12 August 2017)

Fantastic holiday!
Matt (12 August 2017)

The cleanest site we have stayed on. had holidays here before & would definitely recommend it.
Suzanne (12 August 2017)

Lovely friendly site , my 5 year old daughter had an amazing time in the soft play and out door park leaving me and the wife to enjoy a drink in peace . the view on the out door seating is calming over looking chesil beach , the evening entertainment was very good both for adults and children of all ages . we used the indoor pool every morning and to our surprise not busy at all , all venues on the park were kept to high standard of cleanliness .
Matthew from Slough (12 August 2017)

The entertainment could be better for the children as that is why we chose your site
Julie from Bracknell Berkshire (12 August 2017)

A lovely holiday park with very nice caravan. . like the location. . good amenities on site although need to ban large inflatable s from the pool not big enough for them.
Catherine from Sheffield (12 August 2017)

Really lovely staff always on hand help to nothing was a problem
Peter from Lanark (12 August 2017)

Staff really friendly and go out of their way to help you. lovely swimming pool with a fantastic club and outside seating area. . right next to a pebble beach with is quiet and clean. could not walk to weymouth as it was too far had to drive everyday. . lovely relaxing holiday very quiet and clean.
Lisa from Northamptonshire (12 August 2017)

My only disappointment was the lack of healthy options to eat on site, especially for children, my youngest son doesn't like chips but this seemed to be the main item served :(
Tracey (12 August 2017)

Lovely place will definitely be going back
Lisa from Wolverhampton (12 August 2017)

We have been to chesil vista twice and really enjoyed it. . the caravan and facilities were clean and well maintained. . we plan to go back again.
Louise (05 August 2017)

We did consider the park to be a little expensive in comparison to other similar holidays that we have enjoyed. Also, I was disturbed a couple of times with noisy children running around the park, banging on our caravan several times. We were also disturbed on friday night (at 23.30) by our "next door neighbours" packing up and leaving the site early. This equated to 3 broken nights sleep out of 7.
David from Wakefield (05 August 2017)

Had a fantastic week. Caravan was modern and clean, big enough for a family of 3 adults and 3 children aged 8-16. . pool area and venue was just the right size for the size of campsite and compared to some other big named caravan site it was considerably cheaper then they where coming up for the same week. would definetly return and recommend.
Teresa (05 August 2017)

A really good week was had by all from 68years down to 5 years old! the children's entertainment was excellent and kept the youngsters fully engrossed. The cabaret turns were also very good for the adults. Would certainly recommend the site to others and intend coming again next year
Sue from Newark (04 August 2017)

Lovely clean caravan. Lovely view of two huge dustbins right infront of the living room full size windowless and nothing else! caravan very near to entertainment. Caravan vibrated with the noise, then get the noice of people leaving.
Lisa from Dudley (04 August 2017)

We had an enjoyable holiday, the location was fantastic and we enjoyed regular visors into weymouth. As a family of 5, we paid extra for a larger caravan which we found to be comfortable and clean. However, we have paid similar prices for luxury caravans at other sites and found that even with the approx £1300 price tag, it was missing essentials we would usually expect to be included, including beds made on arrival, towels and a washing machine. We would definitely recommend the location for a family holiday, but there may be other caravan sites offering better value.
Claire from As A Family Of 5, We Paid Extra For A Larger Carav (31 July 2017)

Near to a great view but spoilt by trees and other caravans. To many caravans crammed into a small space. Paid for an upgrade but should have stayed with the lower quality accommodation.
Neil from Brynmawr (29 July 2017)

Chesil vista is in a great area with lots to do and see. Everyone on site was friendly and helpful. Wasn't keen on the plastic mattress protectors but caravan was spotlessly clean and well equiped and we had a lovely week away.
Nicki (29 July 2017)

Unfortunately there is no staff checking the soft play area and I am sorry I do not think 13/14 year olds are not toddlers and they knocked over my great grandchild of 2 years several times and I could not see any parent supervising their 14 year old. What would you prepare to do if an accident had of happened?. also the light in the sauna was out for the whole week we were there. A reply to this survey would be appreciated
Denis from Pontypridd (29 July 2017)

Had s good week with my daughter and three grandson. Aged between 2 and 13.
Mary (29 July 2017)

This park is a well oiled machine. a great team across all departments from entertainment, bar staff, catering and cleaning etc. a happy atmosphere in the team makes for a great environment for holidaying. the kids loved ben and steph and the kids entertainment they provided was quality. We had a fab time
Janette from Portsmouth (29 July 2017)

Very nice park. Clean. Staff excellent. would book again
Sharon from Bromsgrove (29 July 2017)

Despite being situated in a fairly built up area, chesil vista is a quiet, peaceful place. The views from our balcony were lovely; dorset at its best. The apartment we stayed in was comfortable, not luxurious but it adequately met our needs and was better equipped than other places we have stayed. The indoor pool is lovely and well maintained; my son enjoyed the slide very much! although we didn't access the daytime entertainment, the evening programme offered a variety of shows and the bar was reasonably priced. We did not eat at the clubhouse as much of the menu was more expensive than I was prepared to pay, this didn't seem to put off other families though. I would definitely recommend chesil vista as a place for families with children looking for a reasonably priced holiday in weymouth.
Sadie from Norfolk (29 July 2017)

Brilliant holiday park, really perfect for young children who want to return again and again . the swimming pool is ideal and the entertainment and kids' club keep the children well entertained . the caravans have recently been upgraded so the models are clean and very cosy. Bus stop right outside takes you to the centre of town in around 20 minutes.
Saso from Hemel Hempstead (29 July 2017)

Had a brilliant holiday yet again!! this was our second year here. Everything is clean and caravan is everything you need it to be. Will be back next year. Ben is an amazing member of staff. Thanks chesil vista.
Laura from Leicester (24 July 2017)

Weren't anything for the kids to do
Emma from Kent (24 July 2017)

Very nice site. Friendly helpful staff.
Beverley from Coventry (22 July 2017)

Really nice site. Would recommend the site on a whole but food is expensive for what you get and kids meals are very expensive.
Carl from Northampton (22 July 2017)

We have always enjoyed the area and the quiet site suits us. We love the local walks which is our main reason for our visit. For the first time ever the mattresses were terrible not good as I get older. Bus service is excellent and great value all adding to the value of the site. Perhaps it may be possible to add to the menu in the future as we do eat out a lot. But I do understand this is easier said than done.
Stephen from Whitten London (22 July 2017)

Been 4 times speaks for itself.
Anthony from Swadlincote Derbyshire (22 July 2017)

More activities for 11 plus
Jim from Northiam (22 July 2017)

Staff very helpful and friendly. Caravan lovely
Steven from Nottingham (15 July 2017)

I think the arcade could do with a upgrade & more machines in there as we had to go to the seafront arcade instead.
Vicki from Newport (15 July 2017)

Great place to stay .
Dawn from Warrington (10 July 2017)

Site tidy caravan clean, food overpriced
Alistair from Bury St Edmunds (08 July 2017)

Amazing holiday and site was clean and above expectations, location ideal for quietness but close to everything like shops and attractions
Jefferson from Pontypool (07 July 2017)

Very nice holiday park albeit a bit out of the way for weymouth. Would have preferred a holiday park nearer. Staff brilliant in the shop, very helpful and polite. Found the reception staff a bit unfriendly. When we checked out, they never asked if we enjoyed our stay or if we would be coming back.other wise a nice holidayat a lovely park
John from Coventry (01 July 2017)

I stayed here for a week in june with my husband. The site is very clean and the caravan was spotless. The staff were very friendly especially the lively lady in the shop. Will definitely be staying again. Sue & gerry clarke from west sussex
Sue (01 July 2017)

Had a great weeks stay here, staff were very friendly. . . entertainment was great. . would definitely recommend chesil vista to friends and family.
Paul from Cardiff (01 July 2017)

Very disappointed that had to make our own beds up. Tables and chairs on verandah very worn. A pleasant and quiet site. Caravan very clean and tidy
Shirley from Slough (01 July 2017)

Disappointed with children's entertainment . vic the monster could have come onto the dance floor more not as good as boomer at waterside.
Brenda from Ashford (30 June 2017)

The caravan itself was very clean and spacious, the caravan park was well maintained and tidy. The only thing I probably would suggest is more variety on the diner menu.
Julie from Shropshire (26 June 2017)

Nice clean caravan and location good. Will probably come back for a longer stay and look around the area.
Rosemary (26 June 2017)

Best holiday park we have ever stayed at.
Stanley from Guernsey (24 June 2017)

Just a couple of things to mention very disappointed only fast food in the restaurant, and takeaway should be cheaper than eating in. Too many singers in the evening entertainment.
Gordon from London (24 June 2017)

A lovely relaxing holiday in a lovely location. Great entertainment.
Marjorie from Dorking (24 June 2017)

Third time we had been here, for us it is the best park for what we need in dorset. Excellent caravans, good entertainment venue, if you fancy a night down in the town there is a bus stop right outside the entrance. Will definitely come back.
John from Ilkley (17 June 2017)

Chesil vista holiday park is about 2 miles from the centre of weymouth but right on the sea front behind chesil beach. The park itself is very clean and beautifully kept with just about everything you should need on a holiday or short stay. The onsite club provides good food at a reasonable price and there's decent entertainment on every evening along with the obligatory bingo which was essential for my in laws! it's a great base to see things in the area but also for going for walks, plenty of sites to see although a bit up and down in places. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at chesil vista and would definitley saty again and recommend to others.
Phil from Fareham (10 June 2017)

Lovely holiday
Lynette from Chesil Beach (03 June 2017)

A great park ,comfortable beds, frendly staff. Walking distance to chesil beach.
Keith (02 June 2017)

Very good holiday
Kevin from Worcester (27 May 2017)

Every thing ok but some trouble with wi fi
Iris from Newbury (22 May 2017)

A lovely site, in a very good spot. the entertainment was outstanding. . perhaps more choice of meals, which were good, at the diner.
Jennifer from Blockley, Gloucestershire (20 May 2017)

Unable to use cooker nor dish washer due to lack of instruction manuals. . felt that we were out on a limb due to site location (very few local attractions or amenities in the wyke regis area)
James from Falmouth (19 May 2017)

We really enjoyed ourselves. enjoyed the facilities. The entertainment very good.
Anita (15 May 2017)

We had an amazing holiday at chesil vista holiday park, the caravan was excellent, and the staff were really friendly, your not far from some of the most amazing scenery, would definitely go back, none of us wanted to go home but felt we had to as the cleaners would have noticed.
Paul from Braintree Essex. (13 May 2017)

Staff we're excellent especially the lady in the spa shop very clean excellent facilities
Emma from Gloucester (06 May 2017)

We had a fabulous time. Great facilities, felt safe on the park grounds, soft play was good. staff were very helpful. Only downside - the food was a bit hit and miss. children's entertainment was too loud and mumbly. amusements on site were a waste of time and money. most didn't pay out even when we won.
Nicola from Bournemouth (01 May 2017)

Great place perfect for bird watching. Will return again.
Gary from Paignton Devon (29 April 2017)

We had never been to a holiday park before, and we didn't know quite what to expect. we wanted to spend some time with our grandchildren, and from the write -up on the internet, we thought that this would be ideal. Well we weren't disappointed. The accommodation was clean and well looked after. it was well equipped with all the gadgets that we would of used at home. The staff were so helpful, and nothing was too much for them. although it was early in the season, the entertainment for the kids was great, and the heated pool and the bubble pool were well used by us all. We didn't go out in the evening, but there was also evening entertainment which was good, and it seemed to me that this would be ideal for families. As our kitchen was well equipped, we did most of our eating in the caravan, but we thought the cafeteria had a good selection, and very good coffee. All in all our holiday ticked most of our boxes, and the few that it didn't tick can be easily sorted. we would definitely come back here again. What was also good, there was a bus stop right outside the park, and the buses into weymouth came every 10 mins.
Geraldine from Radstock (28 April 2017)

Overall my wife and i, with a 20 month year old boy in tow, enjoyed our holiday based at chesil vista holiday park. The location is excellent just 5 mins by car from portland and 10 mins by car from weymouth. The park sits on the lagoon just behind chesil beach right by the bridge between the mainland and portland. The holiday park itself has excellent facilities: we used the play area with our son which he enjoyed a lot. We also used the spar shop on site as well as the launderette. One word of warning that applies to the laundry machines on site but also to all the car parking in weymouth and surrounds is that none of the pay machines take the new pound coin - they still only take the old pound coin which was a bit of a hassle. I notified this to the reception desk so it will be interesting to see if they update the pay slots to the washing machines and tumble dryers in their launderette in the near future. The caravan we had itself was quiet (we requested one away from the main building because of our young son and getting to sleep at night). they had a large bar and evening entertainment schedule but we did not use mainly because of our sons bedtime schedule. . we had great day trips to new d-day museum in portland (excellent), sea life park (excellent), and abbotsbury swannery (watched the 4 pm feed which was great), as well as most afternoons on weymouth beach. Went up the jurassic coast observation tower by the pavillion also (we got free tickets for this when we were at the sea life park). . overall a great place for a holiday. My wife particularly liked the old harbour area where we ate several nice lunches and dinners during our weeks stay.
Kevin from Swindon (22 April 2017)

We booked one week arriving on easter weekend. The park is quite small and the caravans are very close together. We could hear a lot around us and we had some very rowdy neighbours next door. We were booked for 1 week and stayed for 5 days leaving 2 days early incase they kept us awake all night again. The facilities are ok for the size of the park.
Claire from London (22 April 2017)

We had a lovely holiday at chesil vista! staff in the office were awesome. Very helpful and friendly. Caravan was like new! plenty of entertainment for all the family although I did find the children's club to go on a little late. By the time the entertainment came on for adults my children were shattered and didn't want to stay up. Pool is lovely - staff friendly apart from one grumpy one who never smiled and seemed to not want children to enjoy themselves. Thankfully he wasn't always on duty. Nice little gym I could use and watch the children in the pool. Plenty to do within walking and driving distance of the holiday park as well. Would definitely visit again. We are at the entertainment one evening and the food was good and plenty of it. Lots of seating in the entertainment room as well. We went easter holidays and always got a table. Not sure how it would be in the summer holidays tho.
Sarah from Penarth (22 April 2017)

Fantastic holiday and would definitely return couldn't fault it at all - outstanding
Leanne from Coventry (22 April 2017)

Fantastic park - really pleasantly surprised. All staff so helpful. Great facilities for a small park. Very clean. Really good quality accommodation.
Becky from Leicester (22 April 2017)

Excellent little park-well kept and high standard of caravan. kids loved pool-v.clean and friendly staff.
Mark from Derby (22 April 2017)

Lovely family park
Gavin (21 April 2017)

Fabulous caravan on a great family park. We had a wonderful holiday and will be back
Sarah from Bristol (17 April 2017)

Great little holiday park with good evening entertainment and facilities.
David from Rochester (17 April 2017)

We have stayed at chesil vista's many times over the past 15 years and have never been disappointed. the facilities are great, location perfect and staff go out of their way to ensure all guests have a fun and memorable holiday thank you.
Jennifer from Bristol (15 April 2017)

Excellent holiday park. We spent a lovely week at the park over easter. The entertainment was good, particularly the wrestling which was lots of fun. Would highly recommend.
Veronica from Harrow (15 April 2017)

Great family friendly holiday resort! everyone had fun
Noelle from Bedfordshire (15 April 2017)

Great holiday park, lovely location. Could do with better choice of food at the restaurant but the evening entertainment is good and the kids were kept entertained
Stephen from London Colney (15 April 2017)

Good job there's plenty to do around the area as the park itself has nothing. Small swimming pool and a restaurant where you have to collect the food from the kitchen yourself. Evening entertainment wasnt really great though there is a soft play area for kids. There's also a shop on site with the most friendly and helpful staff. Ok if you're a couple but not a great family holiday park. Being weymouth though there's plenty to get out and do.
Dave (14 April 2017)

We had the most amazing stay at chesil vista and booked for next year !!!!!
Samantha (10 April 2017)

Lovely views, relaxing with plenty to do for the grandson, good all round holiday
Robert from Banbury (10 April 2017)

Fantastic location to do everything on the jurassic coast
Julie from Leeds (08 April 2017)

This is a well maintained park. Clean and modern facilities. The kids enjoyed the outside gym and playing field. They spent hours in the pool, and the slide was an absolute bonus. They enjoyed the evening entertainment too. Joss at the spar shop at the park is such a lovely lady and made us all feel very welcome. She was very accommodating and offered to order us any products she did not have in stock at the time. We would recommend this park but if you want to explore more of dorset, you definitely need a car. We explored everyday, portland bill, sandbanks poole, durdle door etc.
Porscha (08 April 2017)

Fantastic park, nice clean pool, lovely modern and clean caravans. Nice green area for children to run, nice little soft play in the venue and arcades. Children loved the entertainment in the evenings. Super friendly and helpful staff in every area. The only down side is that the restaurant food is fine, but not that great for the high prices. Also there is not a large amount of green space to play outside the caravan, but there was a balcony and a place to park right outside. Overall though would definitely recommend.
Elizabeth from Devon (08 April 2017)

Great loved it highly recommended
Rajiv (08 April 2017)

My wife and I had a great weeks stay. The holiday centre had everything we were looking for, excellent accommodation and on site facilities. There was also plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, we would certainly return.
Alan from Chatham (08 April 2017)

The caravan and the site were both excellent. I had only minimal contact with staff but they were helpful and friendly.
Barry from Barton Le Clay (08 April 2017)

Fantastic everybody was so helpfull and pleasant this was our second visit and we shall be returning
Leslie from Skegness (08 April 2017)

What can I say, very good for money and stunning views of chesil beach. The entertainment is very good too the food is good as well. The accommodation is exhalant and the staff are very good too.
Lester from Bridgwater (08 April 2017)

Had a fabulous time, lovely location would go back again, a lovely free farm close by in portland for kids nancy farm I think it was called
Belinda (08 April 2017)

This is the best holiday park out of 4 i've stayed in the uk. Very clean, helpfull staff, great entertainment, perfect location to explore dorset. Fantastic for families with children.
Ilona from London (07 April 2017)

Had a lovely little holiday only come for 4 nights but enjoyed every bit of it so much so i've already booked up for next year for a week this time. Thought it was great that a softplay area has been added for the kids.
Trisha from Borehamwood (07 April 2017)

Very clean and quiet resort. Loved staying in a perfect caravan.
Gary from Tring (07 April 2017)

Had a fantastic week away at chesil vista, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the caravan was very clean and comfortable!!!
Jane from Leicester (01 October 2016)

Very good
Paul (01 October 2016)

Clean apartment. Floors were slippery inside which needs looking in to. Great location. Shop on site had reasonable prices. Club house was clean with great entertainment. Food on site was good, great portions to reflect the prices. Swimming pool was a lovely size just a tad on the cold side for toddlers even the toddler pool was cold. Facilities were all clean. Very happy with the stay.
Jane from Essex (26 September 2016)

I found chesil vista holiday park to be clean, the caravan was lovely and spacious, plus there was parking outside the caravan for my car. staff at chesil vista holiday park were friendly and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at chesil vista holiday park. I would say that the stairs leading into the caravan would not be suitable for someone with a mobility problem. my father and I only ate once at chesil vista. we found the food to be overcooked (or the oil it was cooked in was old), and also very expensive for what it was. we never ate in the restaurant again after that. we would go back to chesil vista again another year.
Christine from Gillingham (24 September 2016)

A good week in very pleasant surroundings
Penelope from Bedford (23 September 2016)

Lovely apartment with good views overlooking chesil beach. Nice quiet site. Handy bus stop nearby. Easy access to weymouth and portland.
Derek from Cricklade Wiltshire. (23 September 2016)

We had a lovely holiday and would love to go back again. chesil vista holiday park was a clean park and had all the facilities we needed on site. The small shop was convenient and sold the food and drinks we needed, it wasn't too expensive either. My 3 year old enjoyed playing on the soft pay area most nights, although it was a little too big for her and needed an adult to help her get onto some of the levels.
Heather from Holbeach (17 September 2016)

We would certainly stay here again, excellent location and very good facilities. . park is very well maintained .
Angela from Reigate Surrey (17 September 2016)

Chesil vista's is a lovely clean quiet holiday park.the staff are polite friendly and very helpful.the area is very pleasant.we try and visit once a year as an extra holiday after the rush of school holiday time.hopefully will visit again next year.the accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean.making a very enjoyable break.
Susan from Gloucestershire (17 September 2016)

Lovely situated camp, overlooking the sea, with lovely views .site very well. Laid out and exceptionally clean and tidy
Robert from Eastleigh (17 September 2016)
