Location of lodges is ideal if you want to be away from everything and close to nature. The lodge itself was lovely and had everything you would need or find at home. The staff we had dealings with were lovely and I would recommend anyone to stay here

Jenny from Worcester (12 September 2016)

Had a fab time in one of the lodges and booked another lodge for next year before we came home
Tracey from Hampshire (09 September 2016)

We loved everything ,we have booked again for next year already .lots of nice touches hamper in the fridge ,bathrobes and slippers in bedrooms .the only thing I would have liked was a place to have a coffee and cake on site .that's only a small thing .
Salleanne from Warwickshire (09 September 2016)

We initially thought on booking the lodge it was quite expensive, however on arrival and entering the lodge we soon discovered what was provided for the cost. . it was truly amazing, everything was provided for ones comfort ,nothing short of being at home, we had an absolutely brilliant 4nights in our lodge and visited so many places around the area,we fully intend returning to burnbake lodges for a longer period,as there are so many places we could not visit due the restricted amount of time available. . we are so looking forward to our next visit, and thank you for making our stay so enjoyable in your incredibly equiped lodge. Michelle/trevor.
Michelle from Gloucestershire. (09 September 2016)

The lodge was clean, comfortable and very nice. with regards to facilities, the shop needs to be bigger and stock newspapers. mobile phone reception is none existent apart from certain parts within the campsite. wifi connection excellent.
Carolyn from Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire (09 September 2016)

Lovely place to stay very relaxing
Zoe from Surrey (09 September 2016)

Great location and surroundings with plenty to do in easy reach. Lovely site, if a little overcrowded and lacking in privacy.
Mia (09 September 2016)

Lodge was perfect. spotlessly clean and had everything we could require. Lovely furnishings. great setting, easy to find and great for our children. . would definitely return, the surrounding area is beautiful.
Allison (05 September 2016)

We had a fabulous 4 days in one of the forest lodges, which was immaculate and very well equipped. The hot tub was a perfect way to start and finish our busy days out. The staff were super friendly and very efficient. I can highly recommend a visit or 2 to the food outlet which we nicknamed affectionately "le shack" lovely food and a great break from cooking for me, an absolute bargain at £38 to feed a hungry family of 6. We would recommend the dorset water park for a fun activity for the children and swanage beach is an easy beach for families. Would love to return one day.
Emma from Croydon (02 September 2016)

We were a family of 5 excellent lodge especially the hot tub! we couldn't find fault with anything and would definitely book again! would recommend burnbake lodges to anyone! 5*

Steven from Hull (29 August 2016)

Outstanding lodge within beautiful surroundings. Helpful friendly staff . . we loved our holiday so much we rebooked this location on the day we left it. Can only describe this lodge as luxurious, with slippers, dressing gowns and a welcome pack upon arrival. Perfect peaceful surroundings with so much to do nearby
Customer 24 from Milton Keynes (29 August 2016)

We had a lovely weekend. Everything we hoped it would be.
Susan from Norwich, Norfolk (15 August 2016)

A very enjoyable holiday in quiet location. Hot tub was great.
Valerie from Guildford (15 August 2016)

Beautiful lodge. Lovely campsite. Excellent beaches nearby.
Sarah from Broxbourne (15 August 2016)

Brilliant accommodation, fantastic area, definitely going back !
Trudie from Cannock, Staffordshire (12 August 2016)

Fantastic place, we had a fabulous holiday. can't fault the lodge we all fell in love with it from start to finish. although the local amenities scored lower on the ratings, the secluded nature of the park is definitely part of its charm. as a family we have never slept so well away from home and we all loved the hot tub. the kitchen was great, spotlessly clean with plenty of utensils and crockery to cater for us. studland is a stunning setting and dorset has lots to offer all and in all conditions. can't recommend this place enough and we shall definitely return.
James from Worcestershire (12 August 2016)

The lodge was lovely but the site was a bit out of the way in my opinion
Nigel from Stoke On Trent (12 August 2016)

Fantastic lodge, too close to the campsite tho, would have liked a bit more privacy.
Brian from Kent (08 August 2016)

Beautiful setting. Lodge excellent. Hot tub well maintained. Campsite shop basic. Pop up restaurant great idea.
Suzanne from Milton Keynes (05 August 2016)

It was a great holiday location and privacy was perfect,
Florin from Redruth (05 August 2016)

A fantastic lodge with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It didn't matter that the weather was not so good as we could use the hot tub in the rain!
Maxine from Bridgwater (05 August 2016)

Very nice lodges a get away from it all experience first time in a lodge, would not hesitate to return or try another of the same standard.set in a lovely part of dorset.hot tub was great and little one had a fab time, child friendly over all home from home feel.
Nathan from Norwich (01 August 2016)

Lodge was lovely and spacious, immaculately clean. Hot tub great. Only improvement I can think of is the washing machines on site were old and the half hour wash didn't clean clothes well. Also playground was only about 2 items.
Sarah (01 August 2016)

Beautiful location, luxury lodge was immaculate. Hot tub very relaxing would definitely visit again.
Rebecca from Messingham (29 July 2016)

Amazing
Stephen from Ashford Kent (29 July 2016)

Lovely lodge, well equipped, comfortable beds. Enjoyed the hot tub, maybe a little too much chemical cleanser added as my husband's blue shorts turned brown! the floors could have done with a little extra cleaning, and the outside furniture was very grimy and needed to be scrubbed before use. Nice site, a little noisy as noted by a previous visitor, however to be expected as the children's play area located behind the lodges. This did not spoil our holiday at all and I would recommend to others.
Sharon from Hornchurch (25 July 2016)

Fantastic family weekend. . cannot find a reason to dislike - location & surrounding + accommodation perfect
Teresita from Bucks (25 July 2016)

Excellent. Not cheap but worth it.
Gail from South Wales (15 July 2016)

Very impressed with the cleanliness . the welcome pack was great. Minor criticism , beds were very high, fridge was too small for a family. More cupboard space for food would have been useful
Pat from Somerset (15 July 2016)

Really enjoyed our time here! it wasn't as secluded as some other properties that we have stayed at and the hot tub felt a bit more exposed than I maybe would have liked but it didn't stop us using it!
Joan (04 July 2016)

Lodge is set in a peaceful woodland setting with excellent facilities.
David from West Sussex (01 July 2016)

Lovely location, with modern euro style holiday camp- type accommodation but with campsite facilities! very remote though - hence no mobile phone signal whatsoever - and if bringing a very young family be warned the fittings and furniture aren't hugely toddler-friendly. We had quite a few bumps and scratches from doors, tables, kitchen equipment, etc. As mentioned before the hot tubs are completely overlooked so it's not very private but it wasn't very busy so you don't feel like you're on display. Very comfortable overall - we'd definitely go back.
Stephen (01 July 2016)

Had a lovely 4 night break. The lodge was great, very well presented and of very good quality. The hot tub was great, we used it every evening. The surroundings at burnbake were idyllic and very peaceful which is what we were looking for. A very enjoyable relaxing break which we would highly recommend.
Carole from Daventry (01 July 2016)

Really enjoyed our days here. Would recommend it to all if you fancy getting away from it all for a few days. Very relaxing and the hot tubs are excellent. Staff very friendly. Cheers steve and tina
Steve from London (01 July 2016)

The lodge itself was spacious and quiet ( while the children were still at school ) and a peaceful and relaxing holiday was had by all.
Gary from Sutton (13 June 2016)

The lodge was excellent and it was lovely to have a hot tub. the site roads were quite rough and it was a bit too remote for me. Didn't like having the camp site right opposite our front door. the staff were friendly and the starter pack was a nice touch.
Sara from Swansea (10 June 2016)

High quality lodge, private, roomy and comfortable. New, fully functioning and great quality appliances and facilities. Definitely recommended!
Neil from Hitchin (03 June 2016)

The lodge was spacious, clean and modern. Ours was in a perfect position away from the campsite. The hot tub was brilliant and decking area huge with everything you needed.
Michael from Derby (03 June 2016)

Lovely lodge with great facilities. I would choose one further away from the campsite next time as it can be noisy at night.
Donna from Swindon (03 June 2016)

Brilliant holiday. We all enjoyed the cabin especially the hot tub. The beds were really comfortable. And the welcoming pact was a lovely touch. Have recommended it to my friends
Anthony from Coventry (30 May 2016)

Found food stuck on plates. Thick dust on cooker hood. Cigarette butts left in bbq.
Clive from Kent (27 May 2016)

Excellent location, lovely people and will definitely be returning, i've already told friends how nice it was and they are looking at booking up there.
Stephen from Rugby (27 May 2016)

Lovely lodge just a shame the campsite is so close to lodges.
Karen from Norfolk (23 May 2016)

Lovely and airy lodge. Really enjoyed the hot tub.
Jacqui from Framlingham (20 May 2016)

Myself and my husband had a very relaxing time here

Brenda from Lichfield (08 April 2016)

Excellent property. Superb finish to all fixtures and fittings. The location is lovely for walks or the nearby attractions. We would certainly like to return.
Philip from Lincoln (08 April 2016)

A lovely destination - very quiet and peaceful.
Lisa from Alton (02 November 2015)

On arrival we were wowed with the fantastic spacious lodge. They really had thought of everything including a welcome pack on arrival, t towels, washing up liquid, dish washer tabs, lots of towels, robes the list could go on and on. It seems that nothing had been scrimped on. The layout is fantastic and lots of space, sockets and a real home from home. . I would definitely return. As the price was so good I thought we would need to compromise we didn't. Location was great and the staff were very helpful. 10/10
Francis from Taunton (02 November 2015)

Very comfortable lodge in a beautiful setting. Clean and well appointed with a good supply of crockery etc lovely white bath sheets and separate towels and slippers for the hot tub. The only slight criticism is the slow wi fi connection but we would love to stay here again. We have stayed in various lodges and this was by far the best.
Lynn from Kings Langley (30 October 2015)

A first class establishment in beautiful forest surroundings - we had such a enjoyable time with kids and adults loving every minute of it - we thought it worthy more of 5*** great location stituated next to corfe castle and a 10-15 minute drive to main beaches and town - we can't wait to go back next year ! thank you
Sally from Worthing (26 October 2015)

A lovely and relaxing lodge break with proximity to the best of dorset.
Lucy from Leicester (23 October 2015)

A lovely holiday. The lodge was very clean with everything you could need. The hot tub was fantastic and cleaned every day. Beds made up, towels, robes and slippers provided and a dishwasher!

Lisa (19 October 2015)

Amazing. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. And the layout if the lodge had been well thaught. Everything was perfect
James from Guildford (16 October 2015)

Lodges well situated for touring coastal area of dorset and surrounding countryside.
Mary from Stockport (16 October 2015)

Fantastic
Chris from Reading (12 October 2015)

We had an amazing time. the lodges are in an excellent location. the hot tubs are private. The staff are helpful and friendly. The lodges themselves are fabulous. Well fitted and very comfortable. Dressing gowns, slippers and towels were provided. We will definitely be returning. Very relaxing time.
Valerie from Stoke On Trent (12 October 2015)

Lovely peaceful stay great location
Alison (05 October 2015)

Lovely modern lodge in a peaceful setting. Had kitchen envy.
Customer 79 from Somerset (28 September 2015)

Amazing place set in the woods. Very peaceful and quiet.loved every minute of it,staff were brilliant
Glen from Kent (28 September 2015)

Comfortable lodge, although accommodation is a little on the small side for 5 adults especially in the lounge. The patio area was very nice as was the hot tub. The only negative things were the lack of washing machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board which we would have expected in a lodge of this quality. We also thought the ceilings looked unfinished and there were some gaps in between the panels. Car parking was also a problem with only one space per lodge, in one instance being taken up by the lodge opposite.
Richard from Spalding (28 September 2015)

Beautiful lodges, and great setting. Staff really friendly and helpful. A great holiday and will go again.
Customer 82 from Burnham-On-Sea (25 September 2015)

Very disappointed with the location. The site didn't appear to have been thought out very well and certainly no facilities. Lodges were all overlooking each other and parking was a problem.
Patrick from Norwich (21 September 2015)

Our party of four adults and two toddlers really enjoyed forest lodge 3. . cleanliness was good apart from the fact that there was fluff under the beds and food& sweet papers under the cushions on the settee. . kitchen was well equipped and the welcome pack was very good. We appreciated the high quality of the food ( bacon excellent). however we had great difficulty operating the hob as it was complicated and there were no instructions. . the bathroom fittings were of a high quality and the showers had good pressure. Beds were comfortable but the duvets were too heavy for the time of year. . outside the hot tub was well maintained and very clean. We appreciated the high quality of the deck furniture. The front deck needed a bench as that was where the sun was hottest for most of the day. . the campsite itself was refreshingly unsophisticated & the staff very pleasant. The shop was a bit limited and we were disappointed that the croissants were only available in high season. . the weekend café was fun and had good food at a reasonable price. . the major omission for the children was a playground. . overall it was a lovely place to stay.
Anne from Chislehurst Kent (14 September 2015)

Amazing lodge and in a fantastic setting. it was like a 4 star apartment and having first-class quality ingredients for the first morning's breakfast provided was an absolute joy. I will be back. Staff were courteous friendly and efficient.
Margaret from Southampton (14 September 2015)

Would have been nice to have seating around the hot tub. Also only 2 bath robes given, we were in a lodge of 6 adults!! reception staff were unable/willing to provide more.
Ann from Reading (14 September 2015)

Fantastic location and great accommodation. Plenty to do close by and a lovely bike ride to the beach. Lodge facilities were excellent. Minor downside was size of shop and lack of a children's play area.
Gareth from Herefordshire (11 September 2015)

Very lovely lodge in woodland setting. Hot tub was wonderful & well maintained. Weather was dreadful but lodge made up for that and was our saving grace! would love to return when the sun's out!
Lucy from West Sussex (28 August 2015)

Lucy from West Sussex (28 August 2015)

Clean well-equipped lodges. Everything provided for a stress free holiday in a beautiful area.
Lucy from Kingswinford (14 August 2015)

The lodge was lovely and the hot tub fantastic. living area was really too small for six and we had to use one of the outdoor chairs to have enough seating. lots of untreated wood gives the lodge an unfinished feel and we would have appreciated more privacy for hot tub. Having said that we really enjoyed our stay, the site is lovely and we would be more than happy to stay there again.
Jean (14 August 2015)

It was a wonderful place, we was in lodge 14, to us looked the best as it was on our own, as the others was next to each other, so more privacy, had every thing you could want in it, will be going back one day.

A lovely clean lodge which had every thing we needed for our weeks stay even towels for the hot tub were provided. It was a shame the outdoor furniture cushions were left out in all weather as this meant after the heavy rain before our arrival the cushions were wet and we couldn't sit out on them. Otherwise a fantastic stay the hot was superb and the surrounding peaceful.
Lynn (31 July 2015)

The only thing to spoil our stay was "the weather"! . cleavel lodge was really lovely and furniture and fittings were of a very high standard. . if I were to leave a minus point it would be that the fridge was rather small especially for a family of 6 self catering.

We were totally blown away with th lodge we stayed in, top class, modern & stylish, well equipped apart from a few essentials. . hot tub was a fantastic way to wind down at the end of a busy day exploring & sightseeing. We didn't want to leave. :-)

Amazing place and we loved every minute although i'm quite disappointed in the fact the price is almost doubled to go the same time next year.. as much as I would love to go back I don't think we will be
Alexandra from Stockton On Tees (24 July 2015)

We had such a lovely break and the lodge was super clean and staff incredibly helpful and quick to help. We stayed in the first week of the kids summer holidays but it was quiet and relaxing. Only comment would be is that the top bedroom could do with a bedside cabinet. Lovely holiday. Thanks so much.

We enjoyed our stay at burnbake and will return. There were two things that would have improved our stay, a larger fridge and a washing machine in the lodge.

I wouldn't stay again very dissatisfied. We stopped in a 3 bedroom forest lodge number 9 shotover. To say they have wifi is stretching it a bit it's rubbish to say the least download speeds of 0.5 mbs make it virtually useless. Don't plan on passifying the kids with this. The seating area and hot tub both lack privacy with a bridge over the brook at the side of the seating area and a walk way over the farside of the brook adjacent to the hot tub. There is a lack of seating for larger families in the lounge area. There is also a distinct lack of storage in the bedrooms with no wardrobe and only 2 draws in one of the ground floor bedrooms. there are no bedside units in any bedrooms which is very inconvenient. The ceilings look unfinished most notable when lying in bed looking up at bare plywood with pencil marks and footprints on. We did make some suggestions to the staff so time will tell if any note is taken. . the hot tub was lovely and more than ample.the setting around the site is very natural and it's in a good location for visiting nearby attractions. . I do have a critical eye to be fair but some of these issues spoilt things for us.
Paul from Leicester (17 July 2015)

Excellent new lodges set in a lovely location. Very quiet & tranquil. . explored the local beaches which are a short drive away.

Lovely second balcony again very private for leisurely breakfasts and evening bbqs. we would definitely recommend this park and will try to come again.

We were already on holiday staying in an apartment in poole, however we were dissatisfied with our accommodation. So we went on line to find somewhere else to stay which was quieter but not too far away and we discovered the lodges at burnbake. It was the best thing we did, from that point on our holiday was exceptional thanks to the wonderful lodge in a fantastic location.

Very rural campsite, just a few lodges, beautiful scenery and quiet too. staff were really friendly and helpful and the lodges themselves are brand new and very well equipped - they also left a care package of eggs, bacon, bread and milk for our arrival and there were a few toiletries and plenty of towels. my only issue is that it wasn't clear when we booked that most of the lodges have two floors - they are nicely set out but we had chosen these specifically because they looked (from the photos) and description to be all on the same level and with a 2.5 year old, we didn't want any stairs. they did provide a stair gate, but it meant we ended up with the kids sharing one room downstairs and my husband and I sharing the other twin room on the ground floor level so we weren't upstairs separated by a stair gate. overall though we'd definitely recommend burnbake, description just needs to be clearer.

The lodge was lovely and the staff very pleasant. setting was lovely too. only issue was that being a new lodge builders came into the lodge twice while we were there, the second time leaving dust over one of the beds and the towels and clothes that were on it. this was reported on our departure via a comments form but no response has been received from the people at the lodges.
Dorothy from Rainham, Kent (12 June 2015)

We had a great time during our stay - the only 2 points are. Our hob was switched off when we tried to use it and it turned out the switch was in a locked cupboard. The floor was grubby but both of the above could be because it was so new. we had a group of 10 lads turn up on our second day and found that it was a stag group who had booked as 3 sets of couples, it was refreshing to hear they were asked to leave they had not been honest about their booking and with a young baby we were relieved as they were very loud.

Amazingly spacious and top quality accommodation. in stunning location. The hot tub was sheer bliss and of superb quality. Our only grumble is that we had to come home again lol.

I was quite nervous about making this booking as we were very first visitors when new lodges first available, but I neednt have worried, it was fabulous ! the lodges are very special, luxurious, gorgeous furniture, lots of space. It is very remote, but you either love or hate that sort of thing. We visited swanage, poole, sandbanks, all fabulous, weather was great, it was a bank holiday weekend, definately going to invest in new sat nav! overall, we had a fantastic holiday, and considering how new the site is, everything went really well. Wifi was a bit unreliable, assume this was just teething problems. Shop on site is basic so take a few supplies with you.
Diane from Birmingham (29 May 2015)

The standard of these brand new lodges is amazingly high and the setting lovely although they are not as shown in the picture. however there is a large campsite very close by so our may bank holiday weekend was not as peaceful as we had expected. we would definitely return but perhaps during term time. staff helpful and hot tub wonderful.
