Excellent short stay, the staff were brilliant as was the location and surrounding area.
Paul from South Yorkshire (03 September 2018)

This site is lovely and is in an excellent location. The lodges are hit and miss, some have been renovated to a really high standard and others are stuck in the 80’s! you need to make sure you book a renovated lodge otherwise they are very old fashioned, but clean.
Nicola from Epping (03 September 2018)

Lovely quiet location. Very homely feel in our accommodation. Pleasant and friendly staff.
James (01 September 2018)

Accommodation very basic. . downside is that although this is a pet friendly site you are not allowed to take your dogs in to the club at night, so if cold was unable to go down there as too cold to sit outside
Janet from Stockport (01 September 2018)

We had a great holiday and hopefully will book again for next year
Peter from Saltdean, Brighton (31 August 2018)

2nd time we have been here. We have had a lovely time and will be visiting again.
Paul from Essex (31 August 2018)

Small site but very clean surroundings and lots of grass. Plenty of dog and waste bins around the site. Small play area for children and small indoor pool. Short and pleasant stroll to park, shops etc. Not recommended if you want a beach holiday but only a short drive to beach.
Angela from Dagenham (31 August 2018)

Peaceful, good location and friendly staff. What is needed for a few nights away. Thank you
Paul (27 August 2018)

It was very good.
Jacob (27 August 2018)

We enjoyed the outdoors and the staff in the club house and bar very welcoming. I was not happy for 4pm to obtain keys and then have to check out by 10am. Also no towels and having to pay for electricity however at 1 pound a day not bad not used to this as hotels normally supply at least towels in the bathroom.
Tracy from Kent (27 August 2018)

Excellent place really laid back . kept absolutely spotless . my misses and children all loved it ( very unusual ) will be going back in a few weeks for a short break
Gary from Epping Essex (27 August 2018)

No 66 was a beautiful lodge to stay in - very clean and fresh and ladies at reception were extremely helpful. restaurant was good - didn't use pool
Louise from Bedford (27 August 2018)

Lovelyrelaxing place to stay
Michelle from Leighton Buzzard (27 August 2018)

Great accommodation and good surroundings, fantastic bar and restaurant. Only let downs were the dogs barking next doot late in to the evening and groundsmen cutting the grass right outside very early on a friday morning.
Ross from Stevenage (27 August 2018)

Really love this place wish I could stay all year round.
Dean (25 August 2018)

Probably the nicest static caravan we have ever stayed in! it was the most fully-equipped and nicely furnished we've ever used. The holiday park was lovely and clean, well maintained and really close to the broads - we could see the sailing boats from our veranda. The pub/restaurant on site which was shared with the locals was excellent and we got a 10% discount for the week when we got there for food and drinks. The food was excellent.
Pete from King'S Lynn (25 August 2018)

The holiday was very pleasant, and restful just what was needed
Barbara from Swindon (25 August 2018)

A beautiful, clean holiday park. All staff helpful and courteous at all times. Nice swimming pool and excellent gym facilities. Good restaurant at edge of site with great food. . . a great base to stay and visit great yarmouth, the broads and lowestoft. . only problem was the double bed was very uncomfortable (sinking in the middle) and also the sofas were rather old and also sunken. These two things were the only down side to our holiday. . . if beds were larger and updated we would have booked another holiday before we left as everything else was great.
Robert from Norwich (24 August 2018)

Booked this holiday on a late booking for a weekend break, can;t fault the location ideal for sea front and town & shops, took our dog plenty of walking places around the broadlands . stayed in 2 bedroom basic bungalow sleeping 4 and extra person on camp bed which wasn't a problem. Went in the swimming pool small but okay. Cleaners had to be brought back in when arrived due to bathroom and kitchen not cleaned to satisfaction. Staff were more than happy to put this right . no towels provided only 1x bath floor mat and 1 x tea towel they high them £8 per bale which we wasn't aware off ( I purchased towels at asda so then I took them home after). electric meter also where you can can purchase cards to top up for your stay wasn't aware of thiis either . all added extra's . but to be fair yes I would stay here again for weekend
Shelley from Leicestershire (20 August 2018)

A lovely park, we have visited several times. Quiet & peaceful. Plenty to do nearby.
Claire from Shoreham-By-Sea (20 August 2018)

This is the 3rd year we have visited broadside and would definitely recommend it to anyone. We had a issue with the cleanliness this year as there were a large amount of cob webs in the accommodation. The bungalow overall could do with a good spring clean.
Stuart from Newark (18 August 2018)

It’s a lovely and relaxing holiday.great location by the marina.good places to eat. Accomodation is very clean.maybe bathrooms could do with an update. Have been here a few times and would go back again.
Sue from Essex (18 August 2018)

A great place to stay relaxing and quiet very helpful and friendly staff just need transport to get to the coast although trains and buses within walking distance but if peace and quiet is what you want this is it it does have a club bar gym and swimming pool on site
Robert from Aylesbury (18 August 2018)

Lovely peaceful location with pleasant walks through the park. Onsite bar has great views accross oulton broads. Amazing entertainment on the saturday night with singer sue brooks.
Carole (18 August 2018)

I think we had one of the best views and bungalows on the park. . the only thing they may want to do to improve things is to fit some kind of netting to the patio doors to prevent the wasps getting in, otherwise faultless.
Helen from Milton Keynes (17 August 2018)

The site is in a nice location. A footpath for walking your dog led to a nice nature reserve to walk around. This is situated in a nice peaceful area. The shopping area in nearby oulton is small, but has the basic amenities. You can watch the boats go by and in the evenings watch adults and children practise their sailing skills.
John from Northamptonshire (17 August 2018)

Lovely, sweet, staff, they make you feel at home and welcome.a very happy and relaxing place to live.
Sylvia from Oulton Braod South (17 August 2018)

Already completed
Mark from Sutton Coldfield (17 August 2018)

Lovely park great chalets and amenities
Geoffrey from Banbury (17 August 2018)

Lovely weekend away, greeted on arrival by a very happy and helpful lady in reception. Accommodation was spotless, location lovely right by the marina. Definitely would go back.
Tracy from London (13 August 2018)

Very clean on arrival but soon discovered that the mattresses were not of a high quality, which resulted in our break not being one where you leave feeling refreshed. I also suffer with low back problems and I am still suffering the consequences of having to sleep on a low budget mattress. . otherwise the bungalow was fine, and the village lovely, just difficult to fully enjoy when not getting good sleep.
Diane (13 August 2018)

Perfect getaway for my 2 children (4 & 5). we felt very safe letting them play outside the front of our bungalow. Food in the clubhouse is lovely. Swimming pool is nice and warm. Clean but dated bungalow. Only thing we didn’t expect was to have to buy electric for our bungalow as they are all on pre payment meters!
Pamela from Bedford (13 August 2018)

A little shop on site would be useful. . the sofas in the room do not allow you to relax. They are small and boxy, nothing in any way of comfort. Our stay was short but it suited our needs. Good location x
Tanya from Essex (13 August 2018)

Such a peaceful site, with good access to other parts of the broads.
Linda from Essex (13 August 2018)

Had a brilliant time lots to do in the area
Alison from Lancashire (11 August 2018)

Chalets were very tidy and comfortable, nice convenient location for exploring.
Peter from Beckenham (10 August 2018)

Great value for money. Accommodation was practical and clean. Quite and peaceful. Beautiful area with lovely walks and easy access to places of interest.
Margaret from Canterbury (10 August 2018)

Lovely well kept, quiet park. The bungalow we stayed in was very clean and tidy, however, could do with s make over!
Karen from Colchester (10 August 2018)

Very nice and time and was a lovely place to go for a holiday
Alan from Chesham (10 August 2018)

We had a lovely and relaxing holiday just what we as a family needed
Heidi from Ipswich (04 August 2018)

Staff great but trains out side windows not good at 530 each morning
Garry (04 August 2018)

Loved the holiday. Unfortunately the beds are extremely uncomfortable which put a downer on the whole thing!
Christie from Bedfordshire (03 August 2018)

A lovely setting park very peaceful. I was in no 6 which was was a large two bedroom which had double and 2 single beds. The swimming pool is nice but was crowded when we used it. Staff was very helpful. Would go again.
Simonne from Shefford (03 August 2018)

Accommodation was very new and spacious with everything you need from made up beds with mattress protectors, fully equipped kitchen and wonderful table and chairs on an enclosed veranda. Beautiful calm surroundings right on the broads ideal holiday to relax. My only disappointment was that on arrival looked very clean but shortly after my 13 month old had been crawling on the floor his hands and knees were black as were those of us wearing white socks. This was reported to staff at reception who were very pleasant and apologetic and provided us with a mop and bucket but it took 4 buckets of water and detergent to clean- not an ideal start! would also benefit from free wifi in accommodation as this was only available free in bar/restaurant area.
Barbara from Canvey Island (03 August 2018)

We had a brilliant time. We only issue was timetable for pool and it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit outside
Michelle (03 August 2018)

The staff were very helpful. The park in the main was tidy and well kept, unfortunately some other occupa ts of the park left dog waste on the grass, which my daughter stepped in. The pool was lovely, but on the last day my daughters goggles were stolen from the side of the pool! the restraunt had a good choice of food.
Laura from Wickford (03 August 2018)

A beautiful marina at oulton broad, clean tidy accommodation could do with modernisation though.
Bernard from Potters Bar (03 August 2018)

Ideal location. Close to broads and nicholas everitt park. Super pool that was not busy when we . chose to go. Good food at pub. Handy spar and cash point (may not be there next year ). weather was super which always helps.
Jacky from Rushden (03 August 2018)

Very basic holiday park. Swimming was the only "activity" to do there. There is a pub/bar but it's very small. . staff were lovely, good place if you are looking for something simple, but not a lot to do on the park itself. Location was good, pubs in surrounding areas were very busy when we went in.
Megan from Ipswich (30 July 2018)

We had a lovely comfortable stay and will certainly recommend and rebook to stay again. Thankyou
Jenna from Bedford (30 July 2018)

Lovely and quet location
Jennifer from Oldham (30 July 2018)

Constant traffic jams in the area meant that you had to allow extra travel time to get anywhere
Roger from Horncastle (28 July 2018)

Lovely and quiet. Beautiful walks. Staff lovely.
Emma from Herts (28 July 2018)

Staff were wonderful, nothing was to much trouble, club house we used every day for drinks and food. The food was very hit and miss, we had a couple of very good meals, but other times not so good, would you consider adding a conservatory on the side of the club house that would allow dogs in so that if the weather is bad you could still use the club.
Vivian from Market Deeping (27 July 2018)

Absolutely brilliant holiday just what we all needed thank you
Sandra from Bedford (21 July 2018)

We were very pleased to go to broadband and had a good time. The staff were wonderful and very helpful . in criticism I would say that we found it very awkward with getting luggage to our accommodation with n o direct acces by car and as two if us 3 are disabled with limited walking ability felt a little dissapointed that there was not staff to accommodate us. The other thing was the single bed in particular was very uncomfortable and we had to put our duvet on so that my sister in law could get a modicum of comfort and my wife and I bought a blanket for the double bed to take the chill off, thank god it was a hot week. A shame there were no chairs to sit outside. Chalet 9
Confirmed Holidaymaker from Faversham (20 July 2018)

Lovely holiday, great location but need transport ideally perfect for our family will be back!
Sam from Stockton (20 July 2018)

Lovely! the on-site broadband was the only poor element of our holiday, but that was provided by an external company. The site is undergoing some works, which we were not aware of, but the accommodation was perfect, big fridge freezer, washing machine. Not a lot of workspace but we were unusual cooking every night i’d guess. Only thing they don’t provide is towels.
Georgina from Ipswich (14 July 2018)

Brand new caravan veiwsvof the broad. Excellent
Carol from High Wycombe (14 July 2018)

Good weekend break. Love the broads hired day boat for some sight seeing and watch powerboat racing. Broadland park very clean with a fine club house doing good food. It was a trail weekend break with our 22 month old grandson he loved watching trains at the local station from the park carpark. Enjoyed our stay so much thinking of buying a unit on the park.
James from Mayland Essex (09 July 2018)

Enjoyed the holiday because of the location near to public transport, so made getting around easy. The accommodation was good. could have done with more storage in bedrooms and more worktop space in the kitchen.
Toby from Sussex (07 July 2018)

Lovely location, well maintained site, plenty to do in local area. We had exceptionally good weather which helped on our beach visits - over all a good holiday.
John from Richmond North Yorkshire (07 July 2018)

A lovely relaxing park. Friendly and efficient staff, bungalow was well equipped, clean and with very comfortable bed. Restaurant served good food and we ate there most nights. We enjoyed the use of swimming pool and sauna and will definitely be coming back.
Debbie from Borehamwood (06 July 2018)

The site was nice. Shame chalet backed on to laundry. The bed was very low mattress had lump in it.
Elizabeth from Cambridge (30 June 2018)

As per last year we spent first day cleaning. On the thursday night went to get a shower and even though we had told the rep. Shower not working properly it stopped completely and showered at friends house thankfully will not return
Chris (30 June 2018)

A bit apprehensive as the bungalow had not been refurbished but it was absolutely fine e.g. very clean ,nice comfy leather sofas and beds. It was also good to have a bath with overhead shower. . electricity was by card meter but although a dated system this was fine and good value for money e.g. £2 for monday to friday with lots of cooking including oven use each day. . in terms of improvements, inclusive electricity and towels!
Monica from Kent (29 June 2018)

Well prepared lodge with everything you would need . in an excellent setting
Trevor from Poulton Le Fylde (29 June 2018)

Quiet and peaceful bit expensive for only 2 days
Francesca from St Neots (24 June 2018)

We enjoyed our stay to the utmost. Our accommodation was ready on arrival as we had taken the option of the early book in 1pm instead of the usual 4pm. This only cost us £15 and allowed us to get unpacked and to the supermarket, which was 2 miles away, and back before the normal book in time. We stayed in one of the aedis class lodges and found it very clean and airy with all mod cons which made our stay a very enjoyable.
Alan from Doncaster (23 June 2018)

This is the third time ive been here and have been well pleased. this time for some reason they've banned fishing in the marina which is part of the site as the name suggests so if your fishing is mainly the reason for your stay you have to go off site. At my age this spoilt the holiday for me and I won't be going again. suggest you call it broad lands park to save any confusion if booking at least you know what to expect.
Geoffrey from Needham Market (23 June 2018)

Bungalow was very clean and spacious. . my only comment is that it needs the three piece suite refurbished, almost sitting on the floor, these have been there for years, needs to replace. . food at the clubhouse bar, good quality but quite a limited menu. . otherwise, great location, great weather a good value holiday experience.
Steph from Staffordshire (23 June 2018)

Great place for a holiday!
Neil from Whitchurch (22 June 2018)

Nice quiet restful break
David from Sawtry (15 June 2018)

Our accommodation was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The park was peaceful and the restaurant welcoming. Lots of things to do close to the park.
Elaine from Crawley (09 June 2018)

We were disappointed that the on site bar was not dog friendly as our dog is extremely well behaved as the staff will attest. he is a border collie and has been trained to behave in all situations such as roads, traffic, people, animals and restaurant and hotels so would have been no bother. this forced our hand to eat at the ivy house restaurant where they have a wonderful conservatory which is completely dog friendly and they all fell in love with him including the clientele in the restaurant next door who pampered him after their meals. there should be a part of the club house that is closed off to dogs and you should put on your entrance "only well behaved children and dogs allowed". this would mean you could ask either to leave.
Heather from Norwich (08 June 2018)

Lovely holiday park. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be returning.
Georgia from Thaxted (02 June 2018)

A lot of improvements have been made since we last visited 2 years ago.
Julie from Derby (02 June 2018)

A peaceful and relaxing holiday - just what we were looking for.
Vanessa from Thurrock (01 June 2018)

Used park as a base, used pool - and bar for food in evenings only
Michael from Thetford (01 June 2018)

Great time, lovely accommodation and picturesque views being near the marina. Look out for the power boat racing if its on, it was really good fun to watch. Nearby park for the kids, on site pool and short walk to some good pubs.
Steven from Leeds (01 June 2018)

Staff for the swimming pool were very helpful and friendly
Christine (01 June 2018)

If you don’t mind being woken up by a resident of the caravans. Who has a classic car with an extremely loud exhaust then you will love this park. However, myself and my family do enjoy a lie in on holiday and did not appreciate being woken up by this so said resident going to work.
Sarah from Great Barr (01 June 2018)

Lovely, freindly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much bother. The park is in great surroundings and the shops and pubs etc is only a short walk away. There' s plenty of places to walk dogs and a nice little play area for children. the bungalows are very comfortable and well equipped. . I shall definitely be returning.
Tracey from Stevenage (28 May 2018)

Lovely area . clean and tidy grounds . very helpful and welcoming staff . good base to explore surrounding area
Amanda from West Yorkshire (28 May 2018)

Difficult access to the site. Quiet site very clean and tidy
Christine (28 May 2018)

Beautiful setting, lovely accommodation with all the mod cons and great staff.
Emma from Essex (28 May 2018)

Lovely refurbishment of the bungalow - and long overdue. Been going to broadlands for over 20 years. The only negative since the refurbishment is the almost non-existent wardrobe space. Just one tiny wardrobe in one bedroom with about enough space for 5-6 hangers. Bearing in mind the bungalow is for up to four people, there is nowhere to hang the majority of clothes - which had to remain in the suitcases. This really needs to be looked at. Not much work surfaces in the kitchen, but we improvised.
John from Basildon (26 May 2018)

Stayed in a pet-friendly bungalow but felt that we were in the naughty children’s corner tucked away from the amenities and close to a railway line. . maintenance was required to fix a broken towel rail and a wall heater lying on the bedroom floor. . . the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. . however, the bar and restaurant is very nice and the food was tasty and good value for money.
Peter from Sutton (25 May 2018)

Really clean and spotless, staff really friendly, only thing was the sofas were very low and extremely uncomfortable we went to the shop and purchased pillows to sit on !!!
Dawn from Norwich (25 May 2018)

Enjoyed a very pleasant weekend. accommodation very clean and worth the money. Little disappointed there was no shop on site - local spar bit of a walk and had to ask where it was.
Patricia from Holland On Sea (21 May 2018)

Immaculate accommodation. superb swimming pool, usually open when needed
Michael from Hereford (19 May 2018)

Great place to stay..lovely staff and beautiful walks and places to visit
Hazel from Minster On Sea Sheppey (18 May 2018)

Quite a decent lodge
Anton (14 May 2018)

Lovely site and location with excellent facilities and great staff. the only reason I didn't score 10 was that the accommodation (aedis) was lovely but the bedrooms were quite small and there was only one bathroom with shower. This wasn't an issue for 2 adults and a dog however may be more of an issue for more than 2 adults of families particularly as having no bath. other similar accommodations I have stayed in with 2 bedrooms have an en suite shower room and a separate bathroom. but all in all a good location and nice site.
Julie from Manchester (14 May 2018)

Lovely stay in aedis.
Catherine from Glasgow (11 May 2018)

Love this place. Great setting overlooking oulton broad and the skye caravan was beautiful, luxurious fittings, great deck with nice views. Nice pool and sauna and only a short walk to village. Can't wait to go back!
Steve from Cornwall (04 May 2018)

Very nice and cosy
Customer 97 (28 April 2018)

Enjoyed our stay very much. Bungalow adequately equipped, lovely location and handy for shops, park and bus. nice ba,r a,no restaurant on site overlooking the water.
Paul from The Netherlands (23 April 2018)

Stayed mon-fri, attending a course in lowestoft, the park was ideally located, within a 15-minute walk of the ibtc. Nice park and surroundings.

We have stayed at broadlands twice now as it is close to where my daughter & grandchildren live. We like that we can bring the dog & the site is close to some nice dog walks, also nice that we can take our grandchildren to the park. I have actually considered buying a property on the site but I think the ground rent is a little too steep considering the facilities on the site! we would probably stay again because of the proximity to my daughter's house & also because we find it quite peaceful.
Janice from Clacton On Sea (09 April 2018)

Had a great holiday as normal. Lovely welcoming staff when I arrived. Good chalet, clean, tidy, everything I needed. Love that the broads are at the end of the street!
Sarah from Harpenden (09 April 2018)

Enjoyed the broad lands park swimming facility the most. We could have been happy if we had a tea pot and milk pot tray to share it as a family. Kitchen had all the basic utensils and equipments, freezer could have been a tiny bit bigger (for four) and dish washer could have saved us a lot of time. . children enjoyed the easter egg given to them on arrival. . towels weren’t provided , pls mention it in the website so people could bring their own. Overall a good holiday.

Fairly small, quiet park with a small clubhouse which serves good food and drink. The staff are friendly. Nice swimming pool. Great location, just a short walk into the centre where there's a few bars and a lovely indian restaurant & only 30 minutes drive to the seaside. We stayed in a broadsrest bungalow and it's fine for 2 adults and 1 child but the furniture and bathroom desperately need to be updated. Other than that we had a great time and would recommend.
Vanessa (02 April 2018)

Despite some unkind weather for our family easter break, the warmth of welcome was wonderful - even including easter eggs for our grandchildren. information was clear and staff so very helpful. . the park is amazingly clean and the free access to the heated pool was great. there is a sauna and fitness gym too. . . something for all ages - good birdwatching and walking as the park has direct access to oulton broad and footpaths, and our kids enjoyed a short train ride to lowestoft for retail therapy!. . thank you - we spent a lovely easter break and wished it was longer.

Lovely compact holiday park, seconds from the marina and miles of beautiful walks. The bungalow was spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings and well equipped. Only downside was the miscommunication over whether we needed to buy cards for the electric meter, with a unexpected cut out when the remaining credit ran out, luckily it happened when the bat was open to get credit, so do check!

What can I say lovely park only diwn side is the entry/exit on/off the main road.
Karl (03 January 2018)

We came away for new year , had a lovely time we stayed in a small chalet which was spotlessy clean but bathroom very dated and the lounge could benefit from some nets or venetian blinds at the window as was a little like being in a goldfish bowl with passers by looking in !!

Lovely location and chalet decorated nicely. Slightly inflated price to use washing machine and dryer. Also had to pay to use iron which I thought a little excessive. Wi fi also really expensive, the only place where I have had to pay for it in a month long stay in the uk.
