Lovely lodges with friendly staff. Small gripes would be the slow internet and tired mattresses. Otherwise we had a fantastic time.
Lorraine (03 September 2018)

Went during feasterville, hence the high price, otherwise excellent place to go
Stephen from Birmingham (27 August 2018)

A great way to attend the great feastival festival. . . to go all weekend, have the luxury of being five minutes walk away in a luxurious lodge with whirlpool bath, nice shower, hot tub and sauna and sleep in a really comfy bed as well as stretch out on nice sofas and a fully equipped kitchen and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.. absolutely perfect. . . a great family orientated experience on the whole
Steven from Hants (27 August 2018)

A great location to explore the cotswolds, and the cottage had all we needed for our family, great to relax and chill out quietly with beautiful views. Hot tub was fantastic to chill out in as well.
Sally from Molesey (24 August 2018)

Disappointed with facilities on site as there was nothing
Gary from Reading (20 August 2018)

Nice clean lodge and hot tub. Wi-fi didn’t work but where does nowadays
Darren from Newcastle Upon Tyne (20 August 2018)

Lovely quiet location but very central for visiting nearby towns and attractions. Also a great base for walking.
Julia from Shrewsbury (17 August 2018)

Lovely lodge nice location
Debbie from Wolverhampton (13 August 2018)

Loved every minute
Emily (13 August 2018)

This is a difficult one as the lodges are certainly not worth the hefty prices but your actually paying for the location of the beautiful cotswolds.. the park itself is small but well kept, very quiet & peaceful. lodges at the back are best over looking the open fields., lodges 13-16 . the park is in such a perfect location in between the idyllic villages which is a big recommendation for picking these lodges., no complaints as regards the lodges but more of an old style timber clad home than a real wood style lodge. Had everything we needed tho & everything was clean. Felt very relaxed the whole time we were there. Greeted on arrival by a professional team offering welcome drinks including prosecco which was a nice touch . thoroughly enjoyed my stay. So remember when you book it you are paying for the gorgeous cotswolds experience not just the actual lodge
Louise from Yorkshire (10 August 2018)

A lovely stay in a beautiful lodge.
Customer 11 from Cumbria (10 August 2018)

We were disappointed with stable cottage the kitchen cupboards smelt damp. We also had a beetle problem in most rooms, no sooner had we got rid of them more came back again this was a daily occurrence. . the whole building inside and out was in need of some tlc.
Jane from Essex (10 August 2018)

Great lodge and great location. I have seen some reviews about the decor, but we found the condition is our lodge was extremely good and looked as the pictures suggested online. . one or two things in the lodge needed attention, by this I mean the odd switch or fitment, but these were minor and at home would be the type of things you would leave for months. . all equipment worked well. The outdoor spa worked well and was clean, it was checked each day by staff at the site. The indoor sauna was also great and in perfect working order.
Paul from One Or Two Things In The Lodge Needed Attention, B (06 August 2018)

Really lovely location and the lodge was beautiful. We did however run out of toilet roll and no one could come and give us any. Furthermore we followed the pub guide which said we could walk to local pubs. One said 15 minutes- it was more like 30 minutes and another one said 1 hour for the novice explorer - we never found the pub, had to turn around and drive instead! not ideal!
Lauren (06 August 2018)

Juliet lodge is tastefully decorated equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer and a full size fridge/freezer. the sunken hot tub has more privacy in the juliet due to covered in decking area. the bed was comfortable. the staff are very friendly and helpful. there are no facilities on the site, not even a small shop or restaurant so make sure you have at least the essentials for food.
Lynne from Kent (03 August 2018)

We had a lovely peaceful time at bluewood lodges and would definitely recommend them to friends and family
Raymond (03 August 2018)

Small friendly collection of lodges. Warm welcome for us and dog.
Paul from Kettering (30 July 2018)

Lovely welcome on arrival with drinks on the patio. Staff where very helpful, and dealt with issues quickly. Beautiful surroundings.
Brendon from Sunderland (27 July 2018)

For the price the beds could be a better standard. The double mattress was very uncomfortable
Simon from Oxford (27 July 2018)

We recently stayed here for a few nights after our wedding. Absolutely loved the lodge, lovely hot tub and the weather was great! would love to go back again one day, we got a really good deal but probably wouldn’t pay full price for it
Kay from Brighton (27 July 2018)

Logde was nice and the hot tub was great with the kids I would not take the kids again as the is no park and the kids got really bored. The floor got really dirty and there was no mop dishwasher was was all broken from inside and the outside furniture was full of cob webs.
Asma (27 July 2018)

Lovely peaceful park - just what we wanted. Lodge nice and clean. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Carol from Scotland (23 July 2018)

If you want peace and quiet this is the perfect place to get away from it all.
Marie from Northamptonshire (23 July 2018)

This place is so peaceful (apart from the morning pigeon on our lodge roof). the staff were really helpful. Used the sauna and hot tub. Only slight complaint was the hard bed and small tv in the bedroom of juilet lodge. Other than that, it was a very pleasant 3 day stay.
Zoey from Chiswick/London (20 July 2018)

Lovely lodge with private tub. Peaceful and relaxing.
Janice from Doncaster (20 July 2018)

Only thing missing was a gate across the balcony area to keep the dog in
Matthew (16 July 2018)

We used the lodge as a base to attend the royal international air tattoo. we were extremely happy and hope make the same booking next year.
Michele from Nottinghamshire (16 July 2018)

Very enjoyable peaceful weekend
Clare from Birmingham (16 July 2018)

Great lodges, great surrounding's and very helpful staff
Massimo (16 July 2018)

Perfect place for a romantic getaway loved everything about it ,we were lucky enough to get a great deal on bookings.com so cost us very little ,staff amazing and clearly care about the customers and maintenance of the site
Penny from Walsall (13 July 2018)

We stayed in churchill lodge no 28. Great lounge very spacious. Sofas suitable . large dining table that also extends. Decent tv with free view. everything’s you need in the kitchen . large fridge freezer. Dishwasher & washing machine & microwave.remember to take washing up liquid , washing powder and extra dishwasher tablets. Double room had ensuite with walk in double shower. Further two twin rooms adequate & great for children. Not sure for adults as no dressing table and space to get ready. All beds really comfy and made me realise I need a new mattress at home. Great our door space. Hot tub checked daily by staff. Adjustable temperature. Great bonus for the lodge and made our holiday perfect. Out door table and chairs with parasol. Towels provided and extra supplied happily on request. We found the lodge very private considering there are 33 in total. Not over looked at all. Very quiet with a couple of friendly horses in the stables . ideal base to explore the cotswolds. Nothing much more than 20 minute drive. Stow on the wold, bourton on the water , cotswold wildlife park. Lots of pubs for food. Local shop 5 minutes drive away and larger supermarket 15 minutes drive away. We had a great week in july and would definitely return. Friendly helpful owner & staff members.
Toni from Warwick (13 July 2018)

Staff on site very friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them, ideal for a quite break away from it all.
Bev (13 July 2018)

A nice quiet site in a very central location for the cotswolds. as it was a small site (about 30 lodges) there was no swimming pool/restaurant etc but the advantage of it being small was that it was very peaceful and there was a hot tub.
Catherine from Truro (13 July 2018)

Well appointed lodge in peaceful surroundings - great for a complete getaway - tucked away down a country lane surrounded by trees.
Rona from Milton Keynes (09 July 2018)

Excellent stay, it was a little bit warm in the recent heat wave so take a fan with you! overall really enjoyable and would book to stay again :)
Jade from Birmingham (06 July 2018)

Excellent few days at bluewood lodges. A quiet few days away for some quality r&r, we would look to go back another time.
Gavin (06 July 2018)

Lodge was dirty and scruffy on the outside, several cobwebs on the inside. Hot tub water was dirty and needed changing. Towels were threadbare. The location was good and the site looked well kept. Watched a couple of cleaners at a nearby lodge and wouldn't have paid them with buttons. They showed no interest in what they were doing.
Alan from St Bees (06 July 2018)

Lovely relaxing break. Lodge was spacious and well kept. Shame the hot tub was outside the bedroom window as the filter would start up at night and wake me.
Andrea from Bury St Edmunds (06 July 2018)

Lovely few days in the cotswolds, lovely lodge with hot tub and private garden area. Very hot when we were there could have done with a fan . nothing on site no shops near by but we knew this before we booked. Lodge have everything we needed including wifi
Jill from Preston (29 June 2018)

Fantastic accommodation in fantastic surroundings. The lodge had everything in it you could possibly need. Staff very friendly. Simply amazing. Thankyou :-)
Elaine from Sheerness Kent (29 June 2018)

Beautiful lodges well equipped. Site nice and quite. Very good location and only a 15 minute walk to train station.
Michelle from Rotherham (29 June 2018)

Lodges are nice , hot tub great , just a couple of issues mainly the cleaniness of the outside decking areas , and old broken decking furniture
Jacqueline from Derbyshire (25 June 2018)

Lovely lodge although a bit dated. I wasn’t happy to find the previous occupants waste in the bedroom bin!!!! that was just nasty!!
Cheryl from Lowestoft (25 June 2018)

Facilities in the lodge were good /clean. staff friendly and helpful, one of the utensils in the lodge was damaged / worn, once reported it was changed immediately. nice and quiet.
Linda from Sutton, Surrey (22 June 2018)

Great lodge and location
Linda (22 June 2018)

Lovely place. Superb views over the fields. Lodges looking a bit tired, but clean and welcoming.
Kay from Haverfordwest (22 June 2018)

Can't recommend highly enough. Second time visiting and still blown away everytime we go. The staff are really friendly and helpful and on hand whenever needed. The lodges are done to such a lovely standard and we will definitely be returning.
Jodie from Oxforf (22 June 2018)

The stroll to the 2 pubs as described in the brochure can only be done in dry conditions and in the daylight !!. coffee or drink on arrival was a pleasant surprise. The abundance of trees on site limits the light entering the lodges. This makes them dark.
Martin from Pontypridd (18 June 2018)

Overall had a good stay. Hot tub was the best part. Staff was helpful. Location is very good to visit near by villages and towns. In all a good place to relax.
Shweta (18 June 2018)

Lovely location nice for relaxation. Only thing during our stay a group of girls a bit rowdy.
Tracy from Uttoxeter (18 June 2018)

Comfortable cabin with everything you need. quiet spot overlooking a field of sheep
Alyson from Cardiff (08 June 2018)

Lovely quiet location. Facilities in lodge good but some of the decoration was a bit dated - especially in bathroom. Kitchen equipment very good - more than you needed. Half of our group had to arrive late in the dark and it was impossible to see the lodge numbers .. so it would be a good idea to provide a simple plan/map for visitors. . even though there were strict rules about noise on both nights we were there a group of people sat outside their lodge drinking until after 11pm and being very noisy.
Jill from Bromsgrove (04 June 2018)

Great location, and staff were very helpful when required. The place is looking a little tired and could do with some rework. Everything worked as required.
Duncan from Ryde (01 June 2018)

The lodges were very close together and our particular one was lacking privacy. The lodge needed a good thorough clean, the carpets were very dirty aong with the crockery,?there was a huge lipstick mark on one of the cups!! the lodges were very dark as there are many trees and there was a huge problem with flies. The hot tub couldn't comfortably take 6 people so should have been bigger in the 6 berth accommodation (we have stayed in other lodges where it was)!
Sally from South East England (01 June 2018)

Lovely lodges in my favourite part of the country
Marcus from West Midlands (28 May 2018)

Put 10/10 value for money only because we had 50% discount . even though we absolutely loved the lodge and surroundings wouldn’t pay full price
Andrew from Rowley Regis (28 May 2018)

Have been many times now and always satisfied. Situated in a quiet location but handy for visits to local places of interest. Our lodge had just received a thorough refurb which was a nice bonus.
Trevor (25 May 2018)

Had a lovely holiday. Very comfortable and clean and staff very helpful. Really missed the restaurant as we always use it at least twice during our stay and only one takeaway delivers to blue wood. Ok if you like indian food and nearest supermarket about 20 minutes drive. Had great weather so cooked outside a lot and used hot tub. Visited safari in burford and adams farm. Best place by far was broadway - how lovely is that and of course, bourton on the water not to be missed.
Graham from Binfield Berkshire (25 May 2018)

Excellent location and very high standard of lodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Jean from Crawley (21 May 2018)

This was our third time in bluewood lodges(came here 3 years in a row) so it is clear we like these lodges and the park!
Marian from Wassenaar,The Netherlands (18 May 2018)

It was brilliant!!! the lodge, the staff, the location is all brilliant!!. . very peaceful very relaxing and if something isn’t right, the staff helped and were very caring. . . the lodge it’s self is brilliant too, clean and cosy. . took some fantastic photos and went on some truly beautiful walks. . definitely going again!!
Natalie from Leicestershire (18 May 2018)

Lovely location and we were lucky enough to face out to open fields so very private. . . clean tidy and well equipped. Could have done with a garden umbrella on the decking but was lovely all the same.
Allison (14 May 2018)

Really loved it here and would definitely go back good value for money
Joanne from Walsall (14 May 2018)

Really enjoy our stay very relaxing staff very helpful site was clean and accommodation very good.
Martin (14 May 2018)

Brilliant from start to finish
Annette (07 May 2018)

We stayed in the churchill lodge & would highly recommend.
Natalie from Northampton (30 April 2018)

We absolutely loved it! lovely lodge, clean and had everything you needed! looking forward to coming again!
Abby from London (30 April 2018)

Lovely and clean just could’ve done with a mop and a small paring knife. . the bed was also uncomfortable and you sank into the middle. . . other than that it was great.
Beverley from Gloucestershire (30 April 2018)

Amazing holiday. Location, facilities and hot tub all perfect. Secluded and private. Beautiful views. Staff really helpful on reception too- thank you highly recommend.
Melanie from Coventry (30 April 2018)

We stayed in kingham lodge for 2 nights at the end of april. The bed was a little cheap but did not take away from a quality lodge, hot tub and great privacy.
Matthew from Oxford (29 April 2018)

Thought it pricey for time of year hot tub nice but garden furniture very poor lodge ok would not lodge again
John from Nuneaton (27 April 2018)

We loved the lodge and our stay but there were a few issues that could be addressed. The bedroom pillows need replacing entirely - we did get new ones on request but ideally, all of the pillows should be plump and fluffy. The original ones were like pancakes and very lumpy and uncomfortable. I would also recommend replacing the chest of drawers in the bedroom as it's soiled and unsightly. And some serious dusting is required behind the televisions. The shower was the main gripe - the drain did not work so we ended up standing in our own dirty water and it overflowed to the floor, soaking the mat - we needed towels to mop it up. Also, please provide extra towels as one doesn't want to use the same towel to dry off from the hot tub as shower. Not hygienic. On the positive, we loved the kitchen, the living area and size and quite of the place. The best part which i'm sure is everyones, was the hot tub. it was clean and hot and worked perfectly. The info book was also very good with lots of helpful tips on things to do and places to eat/drink. The staff were excellent and friendly so i'd definitely give a big thumbs up to them.
Jo (27 April 2018)

A very nice lodge well equipped but as a holiday let it is starting to show
Stuart from Basingstoke (23 April 2018)

Fantastic location. Near by bike hire made the weekend perfect. Beautiful lodge with great lounge space. Bedrooms are cosy but get very hot. All in all a great stay and would definitely do it again.
Becky from Wilton (23 April 2018)

I booked stable lodge and wisteria cottage as there were 8 of us and the 2 join together. We absolutely loved the accommodation we left the adjoining door open so we just had a massive lodge for the weekend. The grounds of bluewood its self were stunning. Very well maintained and looked after. We also had horses right next to us which we would stroke every morning which was lovely. Accomodation had everything you need, firdge, freezer, toaster, washer and dryer etc. Staff were very welcoming and helpfu, answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. May make it out new yearly get away. Thank you
Jade from Swindon (22 April 2018)

Super 2 night stay with the friends. fully equipped lodge, clean. great hot tub. Slightly worn kitchen (aesthetic) and beds pretty mediocre but we had a fabulous time, everything worked and was spacious.
Amanda from Warwick (22 April 2018)

Brilliant, thanks
Adrian from Peterborough (16 April 2018)

Rebecca (16 April 2018)

Blenheim lodge was amazing, extremely spacious and modern, clean and well kept, beds extremely comfortable, hot tub 38•c and sauna up to 60•c, both bedrooms had their own en suite which was perfect for us, use of own washer and dryer very helpful as having a huge pile to do when you get home is never fun, only downside was that there wasn’t anything to do on site whatsoever - no restaurants or play areas or anything like that so children could get bored very quickly if you have not come prepared with plenty to occupy them!. staff super friendly and helpful and lodges although close together do not overlook each other so when using the hot tub you have complete privacy!
Clare from Lincolnshire (13 April 2018)

Excellent accommodation, well equipped. We needed the heating, which worked efficiently, as the weather was not kind. Hot tub an added bonus.
Jean from Maidstone (13 April 2018)

Perfect getaway, hot tub was a treat after busy days out and about.lodge was much bigger than expected with everything we needed.will definitely be back!
Nicola from Warwks (13 April 2018)

Clean, comfortable lodge. Some fixtures and fittings were a little tired (bathrooms in particular) but the lodge was still good value for money. Dishwasher, washing machine & dryer were much appreciated!. our lodge (14) had it’s hot tub overlooking the beautiful countryside - fantastic
Daniel (13 April 2018)

Loved every minute of it, the staff we're very helpful would recommend!
Joe (13 April 2018)

Had a wonderful week with my husband, two daughters (12 and 14 yrs) and the dog. accommodation was lovely and clean, comfortable and felt like home from home with dishwasher, washing machine etc. Was a great base to visit nearby villages and towns. We all loved the hot tub which was maintained daily and always lovely and hot. the site was nice and quiet without all the distractions of arcades etc. would definitely return. Thank you.

This was my second visit to bluewood lodges and hired two churchill lodges. Both had everything required when away from home but number 28 is looking tired and in need of some tlc. . all the staff are friendly and the location is great for visiting the cotswolds, the hot tubs are lovely to relax in after days out. . don't be put off because I have given my honest opinion of the lodge requiring tlc, this is minor for the overall visit.
John from Rugeley, Staffordshire (02 April 2018)

Very enjoyable weekend, a bit expensive for a uk break, but it was during the easter break so I guess the price reflects that
Robert from Kings Langley (02 April 2018)

Really over priced . the rooms were dark and dusty, basic; not an autograph . lodge 23 the bathroom really smells and has a drainage problem. Lovely location.
Kelly (02 April 2018)

Wonderful location with so many pretty villages nearby. Lodge had everything we needed and the hot tub made our stay really special. Would definitely recommend and will be going back. Only negative was that the wifi didn’t work.
Samantha from Only Negative Was That The Wifi Didn’T Work. (02 April 2018)

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our lodge was better than expected, furnishings were lovely and was very clean. Not much around so be prepared to drive to shops/etc
Laura from Andover Hampshire (02 April 2018)

Very relaxing, beautifully appointed lodge with lovely views. No other facilities at bluewood but in short driving distance from many pretty cotswolds towns.

Michele from Marlow (02 April 2018)

Great lodge. Would go there again. Could do with a cafe or shop on site.
Julie from Eastbourne (30 March 2018)

This is a great venue, very clean, staff welcoming and very helpful. Welcome drinks on arrival/check in. . note if you book this to look for the sign for bluewood lodges as postcode takes you to a farm.

Very quiet site with only approximately 29 lodges. We loved the hot tub. The lodge was clean and tidy with everything we needed in it. The surrounding area was quiet and there are 2 pubs in the nearest village which has a footpath leading to it. would recommend if you want to get away from it all.
Caroline from Kettering (23 March 2018)

Beautiful lodge (we stayed in cupid). very helpful staff. We would definitely recommend these lodges, great base for exploring the cotswolds.

Sam (16 March 2018)

Fabulous lodge, ours had lovely view but some are in middle of park. Locally expensive to eat out. Very peaceful.
Carol from Lincolnshire (16 March 2018)

The lodge we stayed in was clean and tidy.however, a few things added would improve the lodge. A chest of drawers, had to leave most of my clothes in my suitcase. Also, I would have liked a clothes aire. These are my preferences that would be a useful addition to the lodge.

Lodge was nice enough but a bit dark inside, hot tub was not really private and needed some attention. One of the jets came off whilst we were in it. Cover was tatty. Bedroom was a bit cramped and only a standard double bed, unlike other lodges we have stayed which had king bed. Crockery was dirty and needed washing. Lodge was overlooked by 3 others, so you needed to have curtains drawn, which again made it darker. Although this is suposed to be a relaxing stay, we found the lack of wifi a big drawback, as we run a small business and wanted to work on the friday we arrived. We had a member of staff out but he just walked away when we were asking about the wifi. So for those reasons we will go elsewhere next time we book a lodge.
Michael from Bedford (12 March 2018)

My partner and I had a quiet relaxing weekend stay with our dog. The hot tub was the main reason I booked. Thought the woodland area was very small but location was good for nearby places to visit. Think prices are very expensive for lodges but I would stay again if a special offer was available
Lisa from High Wycombe (12 March 2018)

Perfect place for a romantic getaway, great value for money. bed very spacious as was bathroom.
Sarah from Nottingham (12 March 2018)

Lovely lodge (kingham lodge) will definatley stay again.

We have stayed here once before ( again mid winter time ) and we was not disappointed , the site was very quite , but this only added to a very relaxing time and able to unwind. We like this site that much we are returning very soon. We stayed in lodge no 2 which is not really over looked by the other lodges ,and the stars in the evening was a joy to see , (very low lighting conditions ). so if you want a get away break this is a place to think about .

Have stayed twice before and doesn't disappoint. Lovely park and staff very friendly. Its a shame the restaurant has now shut as would of enjoyed breakfast or diner there. . on arrival we were given prosecco and chocolates which was a lovely touch.

Have been at blue wood and stayed in the lodges this time we stayed in the stable cottage which is more expensive and needs a refurbishment carpets frayed plaster falling off ceiling patio door windows cloudy not sure I would return not an autograph experience
Vikki from Torfaen (23 February 2018)

The lodge was really lovely tastefully decorated warm and well equipped. The location is very rural with long walks with no paths to the local villages but lots can be accessed by car. Best if you want to get away from it all and maybe more suited to adults than a young family. Lovely site though would go again.
Judy (23 February 2018)

The only reason I rated this a 9 and not a 10 was because the on site restaurant and bar was not open during our stay and also we didn't get to look at what activities were on offer as it was too cold but that isn't anyone's fault, it was a luxury lodge with everything you need, will definitely be returning.
