Easy check in. The caravan itself was clean. Nicely furnished and in good condition. . a coupe of minor issues, only 4 forks between 5 of us, no plug for the sink and no hoover or brush to clean up after ourselves. . 1 bigger issue that the oven didn't really get hot enough to cook anything. We had taken food with us that should have been cooked I the oven so we had to be creative with a mixture of microwave, pan and grill cooking but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The owners were helpful on check in and did say if we had any problems to let them know, which to be fair to them, we didn't mention any if the problems as we were enjoying ourselves regardless. I am certain that everything would have been done to put things right.
Jonathan (01 September 2018)

Site location itself fine, parking poor and not really defined.the caravan next to us wanted our parking space on the basis he's always had it ! site supervision needed here. . staff not present at all which made above insoluble.
Gareth (26 August 2018)

Peaceful and relaxing
Gary (25 August 2018)

Great little holiday place, it’s not a resort so don’t expect much going on it’s just a nice spot to relax.
Natasha (19 August 2018)

The caravan and the park were very clean. There is a small cabin where you can borrow dvds, books and games. Obviously, this is quite a remote location so you need a car to go to the shops etc but there is a lot to do in the region and it is a strikingly beautiful area.
Laurent (18 August 2018)

The log cabin was beautiful and so was the surrounding area, if you love wildlife you will love this place, and the hot tub was fantastic, will definitely be returning.
Jonathan from Royston Herts (17 August 2018)

Cheap holidays no doubt
Riffat from Preston (16 August 2018)

Great weekend away in the kinclaven lodge. We were looking for somewhere we could escape to and so this location was perfect for us. However, if you would need more facilities then this might not be for you as there's nothing within walking distance but we never found that a problem at all. The lodge is perfectly equipped for everything you could need for a relaxing weekend, well decorated and furnished and lovely outdoor decking area.
Jenni from Aberdeen (13 August 2018)

Clean and deceptively spacious 2 bed caravan, ideal for a short family break with our dog. location of site ideal for outings around perthshire. few facilities on-site, though the library of dvds, books and puzzles at "reception" was useful on a wet day.
Craig from Scotland (06 August 2018)

The accommodation was exactly as described and the kids loved it.
John (04 August 2018)

It was a great holiday, really enjoyed the caravan and the surrounding areas and the owner of the caravan was so helpful and polite. Definitely recommended.
Subhash from Glasgow (03 August 2018)

The reception was unmanned and we didn't see a member of staff for the whole visit. At the end of the stay, I only received a text message to my phone call letting them know we were leaving. The caravan was relatively clean but we only had a dust pan and brush as cleaning items to keep any dirt bay ( very difficult to use on a carpet!). the area was beautiful but the main road can be very dangerous ( we saw 3 crashes in 3 days).
Michele (31 July 2018)

Beech hedge is a beautiful small site in the countryside but 10 mins from town. Peaceful calm setting
Ann from Glasgow (24 July 2018)

Had issues with pet being watched , called both site and agent as to change date or new accom , was fobbed off , had my money it lay empty not happy avoid
David from Glasgow (20 July 2018)

Beech hedge itself was very nice. The double bed needs a new mattress it was like sleeping on concrete. The back of the lodge would benefit from being fenced so that your dog could be let out. Bins in bathroom and bedrooms, a shelf in the bathroom for toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Jo from Stoke On Trent (16 July 2018)

Loved the peaceful setting of the park. Tay lodge was lovely & clean. Good dog walks at meiklour inn around a mile away, we all enjoyed our relaxing time away & would definitely return.
Mhairi from Stonehaven (14 July 2018)

Comfortable accommodation and owner responded very quickly to resolve small water leak.
Brian from Weston Super Mare (06 July 2018)

Excellent would highly recommend.
Janet from Edinburgh (02 July 2018)

We had a great time at the lodge, the hosts were so welcoming and very relaxed. We will be staying here in future, the lodges were so clean and we enjoyed every second.
Lucy from Edinburgh (30 June 2018)

Ideal location if you want peace and quite. Not a shop in sight
Ralph from Kirkby In Ashfield, Notts (30 June 2018)

Glorious, clean & comfortable park & lodge. Not far from local amenities. We had a lovely relaxing week away. Hayley & ryan were very friendly and helpful park owners who keep the place beautiful.
Sheena from Milton Keynes (29 June 2018)

Owners were really friendly and very helpful.
Christopher from Turriff (16 June 2018)

Definitely would recommend anyone to the bracken log lodge. Was a fantastic holiday and the hot tub just topped it off! there are nearby shops and supermarkets, only a 10 minute drive away and woodland walks. A great getaway spot!
Shannon from Fife (15 June 2018)

Lovely and quite
Steve from Runcorn (11 June 2018)

Excellent stay as always. As it’s a working long weekend
John from Northumberland (11 June 2018)

The cabin had everything you needed, even a hot tub to relax away the strains of a long walk, the owners are very helpful nothing to much trouble, lots of good attractions near, even fell lucky to visit the pot fest at scone palace that week, definately on the list to stay again
Christopher from Penrith (09 June 2018)

Excellent accommodation in a great location. As clean as you would expect with very friendly and helpful staff. Will return
Brian from Kirriemuir (04 June 2018)

We enjoyed a very nice break in scotland, and this was the ideal base, central to where we wanted to be, and a nice quiet site.
Paul from Redditch (01 June 2018)

Great views. Lovely part of the world. Lots of interesting things to do, castles, leisure activities, public houses etc. . .
Stephen from Wigan (29 May 2018)

Lovely cabin, clean and nicely decorated. One tiny observation is that the decking could do with being enclosed with a gate for those of us with dogs that like to wander off if they get a chance. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.
Jane from Doncaster (28 May 2018)

Great place and wonderful site owners. A few more bits an bobs in the kitchen would help eg an egg cup! but will be back
Timothy from Fife (26 May 2018)

Very nicely presented log cabin. Had everything you could need. Couldn't fault a single thing. We loved it would be happy to stay again
Steve from Nottingham (25 May 2018)

Booked lodge due to wheelchair ramp for access but limited movement space inside,. the place is out in the country about 5 miles to the nearest town,it has all you need for a relaxing time if a little worn around the edges. We booked due to the location which was in the centre of the area we wanted to visit and would possibly return inthe future.
John from Southminster (25 May 2018)

Lovely lodge and surroundings. Well maintained, looked after although shower door was insecure. Very warm and cozy.
Gary from Thailand (25 May 2018)

Good holiday acomadtion no complaints bedding could be improved
William (19 May 2018)

We found the double bed mattress uncomfortable.visiting

A peaceful tranquil place to stay lodge nice but would have preferred lino or laminate in living area instead of bare floorboards, not much to do in area have to travel for things to see and do which wasn't a problem, would consider returning to beech hedge at some point.
George from Coatbridge (16 March 2018)

Bromine in hot tub was too high but over all holiday was amazing.

We went for 4 nights over new year, it was amazing we never left the lodge from the day we got there until the day we left. The only minor detail that we didn't like but it did not impact our holiday was that we wanted to go out for dinner one night and we had read on a previous review it was walking distance to the nearest public bar which served food, this was true however it was an extremely busy main road which was not suitable for walking! apart from that the lodge was amazing!!

We tried to book the lodge with the hot tub but left it too late so booked one without instead and we were not disappointed. Staff again were lovely and left you to your weekend but were there if you needed them. The place was clean, and heating works a treat considering our cold weather at the minute. We will definitely be back.

Great value for the money and we had a great time - definitely on our revisit list. My only comments to the owners for possible future improvement would be the provision of additional kitchen utensils for cooking (oven dish, better food prep knives, chopping board) and also to consider making the decking an enclosed space so that a dog could roam. The site policy is dogs on leads at all times which is respectable, but an enclosed area would help - for younger kids too.!!

To be honest the photos made this site and static vans look a little run down but it was in an area I wanted to explore. I have to say I was extremely surprised that our static vans was quite new and been very well kept as was the site itself. The site was easy to access and although compact, it was very well laid out.

It was a very nice caravan on a very nice little site. The owners were very helpful and were only to happy to sort out the fact that there was a few things missing from the caravan, which had likely been stolen by previous customers!
Joshua from Swindon (15 September 2017)

The cabin was lovely and spotless plus the couple who run the site were extremely friendly and helpful. they come to check the hottub every morning but made sure you had your privacy. highly recommended!!

Anne from Peterborough (15 September 2017)

We wanted a break away and this was just perfect. The woman who showed us how to work the hot tub etc was so nice and so down to earth. We felt instantly at ease and the lodge was clean. We enjoyed it so much we're planning on booking a weeks stay next year. Hot tub was perfect. Although we were told to remember, we did forget dish towels so we struggled a bit however that was totally our fault! we've recommended it to our friends as well, perfect little getaway
Emma from Edinburgh (11 September 2017)

The most beautiful lodge I have ever stayed in, amazing area and most of all it was sunny all weekend
Jack from Manchester (11 September 2017)

First class lodge would definitely stay here again. Parasol over the hot tub a plus when its raining
Yvonne from Kirkcaldy (08 September 2017)

The lodge was very comfortable and clean. Was disappointed that there was no welcome basket with basic tea and coffee and milk, as the site did not house an on site shop. The only complaint I would have regards the lodge was the heating. I could not get the lounge wall heater to work, and when I eventually found the controls for the electric fire, and switched it on, it sounded like a train passing through because of the noise of the fan, until it got up to temperature. I appreciate the as t I could have spoken to the owners with regards to the heating, but as it did not spoil my holiday, I did not.
Helena from Shotts (08 September 2017)

It was a really quiet peaceful place. exactly what I was looking for. the nearest place was 5 miles away which was not a problem for us. the park was great.
Victoria from Kilmarnock (08 September 2017)

A fantastic place to stay as I required a base to travel to places such as john o'groats, loch ness and various other castles and places of interest. a really nice quiet place and the lodge (kinclaven) is well laid out, comfortable and very homely. I would not hesitate to use again and I would certainly recommend to anyone requiring a quiet park in beautiful surroundings.
John from Leeds (08 September 2017)

Really lovely property..clean and the staff were so helpful.a bit out the way but great if you want a lovely quiet break
Heather from Cowdenbeath (04 September 2017)

Very basic site, very dated caravan, no views from caravan and launderette facility's were just very basic home washer dryers that you had to pay for. Bathroom in caravan walls were permanently wet and every room had damaged ceilings from damp
Michael from Rushden (01 September 2017)

Hayley and ryan were absolute stars they made sure all was ok as soon as we arrived and the accommodation was immaculate. The location was fab as everything we wanted to see / do was a short drive away. Would definitely recommend this wonderful place and we will definitely consider booking again with no hesitation.
Melanie from London (29 August 2017)

Clean pleasant log cabin, fabulous hot tub, owners helpful with queries, would recommend it. Very quiet site
Rachel from Cumbria (25 August 2017)

We were welcomed and made to feel at home. the lodge was as we hoped and the suroundings are stunning. Perth for shopping and history is only 15 min drive we had a good time and would recommend. our dog was impressed as well
David from Cowdenbeath (21 August 2017)

Location ok but noisy from the road that is 100 metres away. The staff I can not comment on as I never seen any . when I arrived there was a little shed as reception with a phone number to ring for instructions and I was told where the caravan was but could not get an answer until bang on four in fact that is the time they rang me back after a couple attemps of me phoning and up till leaving I never encounter anyone from the site. This site is one of those that says thanks for your money good buy. So no I would not stay there again
Gordon from Oldham (21 August 2017)

Helpful staff.clean caravan.good location.will come again.
Gary (19 August 2017)

Loved staying here and will come back soon. Had a marvellous view from our caravan. Took us a while to work out the hot water after our son used it all in his shower!
Graham from Gourock (11 August 2017)

Very nice place. Only gripe is late check in and no contact with staff. Would book again if up in scotland
Ian from Liverpool (04 August 2017)

I really enjoyed staying here it was very peaceful the way I wanted it and the lodges where nice clean and tidy
Fiona (04 August 2017)

Truly lovely lodge in secluded countryside but within easy reach of perth and all it offers. Beds were so comfortable! . our 3 year old son loved the wood cabin and hot tub as much as we did. We are fairly fussy.. but will definitely return here.
Lynsey from Greenock (31 July 2017)

Too remote location. Not even a path outside the park to go for a walk. Never saw the staff, they were on the other end of a phone if you needed anything.
Vicky from Aberdeenshire (28 July 2017)

This is a beautiful place to stay not far from a town for supplies surrounding countryside is beautiful. Will definitely come back.
Ann from Glasgow (24 July 2017)

Super caravan very clean site well looked after with friendly and helpful staff
Pamela from Dundee (24 July 2017)

Nothing on site not even any space to entertain the kids even with a ball car required to get out to places as poor bus links
Brian from Erskine (21 July 2017)

Lodge was clean, comfortable and cosy. Fab place to come if you want to relax in beautiful surroundings and enjoy the peace and quiet
Gillian from Glenrothes (21 July 2017)

Had lovely weekend at bracken lodge hot tub excellent very well kept and clean peaceful location
Colin from Stirling (17 July 2017)

Very clean but we prefer a detached lodge. could do with a shelf in the bathroom for storage. everything is there that you need and it is very reasonably priced. easy distance to blairgowrie and perth.
Wilma from Berwickshire (15 July 2017)

Amazing lodge, hot tub was brilliant, could not fault it one bit, will be returning
Debbie from Greenock (14 July 2017)
