Excellent lodge with anything provided for a relaxing break away from all the mayhem of normal life!!
Helen from Derby (24 August 2018)

All that I wanted good accomadation good fishing good surroundings
Michael from Chesterfield (13 August 2018)

Had a fantastic week here. So peaceful and relaxing.
Delia from Kettering (10 August 2018)

Lovely clean park. Lodge clean and well equipped. Only disappointment was traffic noise from nearby a road. Used swimming pool once at a cost of £3 each. Maybe would have used it more if we were given complimentary tickets for one use upon arrival. Used coffee shop, good coffee but no homemade cakes although advertised as such. Although anadults only park, one day we did see a family with two small children wandering around the park, exploring. not sure how this was allowed as owners did seem sticklers for the rules.
Julie from Durham (06 August 2018)

Lovely place, accomodation was superb and owners/staff were really nice and helpful. . good location if driving out and about but not that much near by when walking. . lovely and quiet tho, exactly what we was after. . if you like chilling out or fishing then highly recommend. . good location for nipping into shrewsbury.
Rupert from Shrewsbury (03 August 2018)

My husband and I had a child free weekend and took the opportunity and had a lovely relaxing break away for the weekend, away from work. Loved how private our cabin was not sure we would want to stay in any of the others as ours seemed like the only one which wasn't overlooked by other cabins. But don't know that for sure. There may be other ones which were also private, but they all seemed overlooked. One disappointment we did have was the hot tub didn't seem totally clean, there seemed to be like a soap scum in the tub round the sides. We didn't let it effect our break away though we just made sure we showered regularly. We would definitely like to return again very soon and would request the same cabin as it was so private. We were allowed to take our dog with us which was great because the decking area was enclosed so he couldn't escape. Although he did get his head trapped in one of the slats in the fencing as he desperately wanted to get out onto the field. Can we suggest some mesh chicken wire around the bottom to prevent this from happening to other dogs. He certainly didn't do that again after. The complimentary bottle of proscecco was lovely and the milk in the fridge was a great gesture. Thank you so much for a lovely relaxing break we are hoping to come back again in august 2018. We will be back. Thank you.
Sara from Stoke On Trent (24 June 2018)

The site was excellent, extremely well kept and clean. Had fishing lakes for those who wished a tranquil setting and plenty of space. Half the site was for mobile homes and caravans and separately, the other part was the lodges - a number of these were privately owned. Slight disappointment as the private lodges seemed to have the west (sunny) facing decking.
James from Dalgety Bay (22 June 2018)

The lodge we stayed in was lovely , very nice , comfy and warm and relaxing . very disappointed with the staff , I found them very rude towards me as a customer , not very helpful , just overall rude towards me and my partner , we will not be returning to this holiday site.
James from Linclonshire (28 May 2018)

Beautiful setting.very peaceful and relaxing
Allan from Doncaster (21 May 2018)

Spent 7days in wrekin lodge commencing 14may. The lodge is excellent in terms of size and facilities, the best we have ever stayed in. All dealings with staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
John from Brigg, Lincs (21 May 2018)

Very peaceful place (make sure that's your plan!). friendly staff and our lodge was high quality. Clean and efficient. The pool is good but the opening hours were disappointing. We prefer to swim first thing before breakfast so we can get a day out (which is the point of our trips)! it doesn't open until 9.15 then closes again at 12.30. We would return if they opened pool earlier but probably not otherwise.
Lynne from London (20 April 2018)

Having stayed at a number of lodges over the last few years, beaconsfield park was very disappointing. As soon as you arrive, there is a feeling of paranoia and a number of rules /policies listed to you by reception and in the handbook - it feels more like a boot camp than a break away. There is a cost for everything imaginable (which feels like the company are only interested in making money in any way possible). whilst we were away, the oven did not work (strange as everything was "tested" prior to our arrival), the water was discoloured, and the hot tub was more of a cold tub. Furthermore, in order to connect the dvd player to the tv, we had to use an extended scart lead around the living room area (apparently this is the normal set up). overall, I would not visit this holiday park again.
Kerry from Birmingham (02 April 2018)

The wrekin lodge is lovely place to stay and relax. It was clean, spacious and smart. Hot tub was big and powerful. Towels were a good standard, lovely bottle of prosecco welcoming us. . . little things niggled me though. Hot tub could be warmer. Mrs thought it was just right. . could of done with sky tv. . the lodge itself is in the wrong location on the park.
James from Heanor (02 April 2018)

Wouldn't let us in because we arrived late so had to pay for travel lodge! then got a frosty welcome the next day the staff quite snooty not very friendly
Daniel (26 March 2018)

Excellent quiet adult only location. Perfect lodge.
Andy (23 March 2018)

Lovely place very friendly staff
Simon from Wolverhampton (18 March 2018)

Great location and great facilities as well, wonderful airrival welcoming but the price can be a reduced a bit due to the fact there isn’t many attraction on site
Haider from Aylesbury (26 February 2018)

We both enjoyed this park, staff very friendly and helpful, accommodation was spotless, wanted to stay longer, we will be back and can recommend 10/10
Bryan from Telford (19 February 2018)

We had a lovely weekend at beaconsfield the staff went above a beyond when our dishwasher broke
Catherine (19 February 2018)

It is a lovely place, log cabin was clean and very warm. . hot tub was great and warm. . very relaxing place , with ducks in the pond. . the restaurant was not open , which was a disappointing.
James from Hereford (18 February 2018)

The lodge was spotlessly clean & has everything you need. Proper home from home. The only disappointment for us was that we were unable to use the hot tub after dusk as per the rules listed. Surely looking at the stars, sat in a hot tub in a beautiful place is part & parcel of a relaxing holiday. This rule seriously needs reviewing. The restaurant was closed during our stay (feb)
Julie from Stoke On Trent (05 February 2018)

If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and have time out this is the place. . we stayed in cabin with direct view to the lake, which was a beautiful scenery to view whilst sitting out on the balcony. . cleaness and layout of cabin was good value for money, will definately be booking again. . only advice, if planning to dine at local pub reserve table in advance. The hot tub is in a secluded location not how it looks in brochure but however clean and private experience (dressing gowns not provided).
Jermaine (04 February 2018)

This place had everything you needed to have a lovely relaxing holiday but there was no soul, something missing. first of all we were told the day before we were due to arrive that check in was strictly 4 - 7pm and if we were late we would not be let in. I had to ask if I could have an extra half a days holiday to make sure that we were there on time. this was not made clear on the website when booking. when my husband went to check in there were 3 people standing around but nobody said hello or smiled or made him feel welcome. he felt like he was gate crashing a meeting. got into the lovely lodge only to read that we were not allowed to use the hot tub after dusk. considering we could not arrive until dusk or after it was basically saying we could not use this on our first day. we only chose the lodge because of the hot tub so again felt the website was a little misleading as it never mentioned this on booking. we plan to be out all day and then come back to the lodge to relax in the hot tub and look at stars. there was no mention why we couldn't use it after dusk. lots and lots of signs up all round the park telling you what was not allowed but not many signs around welcoming you. had a restaurant on site which apparently serves great food but most of the holiday makers end up at the local pub down the road to eat. wonder why! beautiful lodge but did not feel relaxed enough to enjoy it as much as we should have. we go to a hot tub holiday every year but not sure we would return to this one.
Peter from Coventry (29 January 2018)

Very well layed out cabin has everything you need hot tub was the highlight for us. We would defiantly stay again.
John from St Helens (29 January 2018)

Lovely place very quiet very easy to locate and access. friendly and helpful staff. immaculate lodge with everything you might need. shrewsbury and lots of other places to visit on your doorstep.
Kelly (02 January 2018)

The holiday chalet was of a very high standard, clean and extremely comfortable, almost hotel like in its comfort. the warm tub was pleasant although there was a rule that it could not be used after dusk. The holiday site is in a bleak and remote location with no facilities other than a payphone. . . one can understand the owner's desire to protect their beautiful property but is there a need to threaten legal action against anyone causing damage as described in the "welcome" folder? "read the small print" could not be better exemplified than this holiday park's rules and regulations. There are punitive charges for visitors and their cars - that is people visiting you on holiday. I would not stay on this site again.
Anthony (02 January 2018)

Very enjoyable stay at beaconsfield park. Lodge was very lovely, very clean and had everything you needed. hot tub was brill and very private.
Dawn from Stoke On Trent (04 December 2017)

Fabulous weekend. Staff friendly and very helpful. . . the restaurant was lovely and very well organised and food was amazing!!
Amy (26 November 2017)

The restaurant onsite is a must but book prior to arrival..spotless clean lodges..friendly staff. This the second time staying at the beaconsfield and looking forward to staying again.
Sarah from Chester (20 November 2017)

On our way to the lodge they rang and asked how many beds we needed making up. We said one as only two of us but did not give a nice vibe as we were then confined to one room. Also a bit stingy! . . on arrival we were asked to pay £75 deposit which was unexpected and left us feeling vulnerable. . . the lodge was really nice and cosy with a bath in the bedroom and hot tub was nice although they set the hot tub at 37 degrees and would not increase it when we asked. The reason he gave was that 37 degrees is body temperature! we thought it went without saying that being an outdoor hot tub that it would be above normal body temperature. . . for such a high spec place we expected wifi however this is only available at the club house. We asked for help as had both planned on catching up on work on laptops whilst there but he said if you have that much to do I suggest going to the clubhouse! . . the lodge was overal nice but the customer service ruined it. I left my winter coat there and rang and asked for them to post it - they did which was nice although took £10 off my deposit. . . would not stay again as felt unwelcome due to only making up one bed and also felt everything we asked was an issue.
Michelle (17 November 2017)

Lovely cabin and site great. Little. Pub, new inn at end of driveway, a49 is a little loud also helicopters from rafshawbury.
Amanda (03 November 2017)

Superb lodge and great location. Close to shrewsbury town 10 min drive. Our 2nd stay and will visit again
Martin (30 October 2017)

We were sure we'd read somewhere in the site information that shrewsbury was about a 2 mile walk, but this was definitely not the case. it was actually a 2 mile walk along the a49 to the park and ride bus. . lovely, peaceful grounds. . very friendly staff. . . would recommend and definitely stay again.
Kate from Cardiff (29 October 2017)

A lovely holiday lodge generally. Very spacious and well equipped.
Anne from Derby (27 October 2017)

Superb accommodation and lovely park and surroundings. only drawback was rules around the hot tub. Not using after dusk and restrictions on temperature meant it was not quite warm enough and couldnt use on the first night as it did not reach temperature until "after dusk".
Jayne from Coventry (27 October 2017)

Disappointed not to have wi-fi. Hot tub was very basic with almost every setting locked.
Jane (20 October 2017)

Although we really enjoyed our holiday here we found the deposit rather steep and the regulations around the lodge rather daunting. The deposit was returned but they took it and then had to refund it a week later.
David from Calne (14 October 2017)

Only negative part of our stay is that the heating wouldn’t work, however the owners came straight away to fix it! we would love to stay again!
Emma from Burntwood (17 September 2017)

Very peaceful overall apart from our lodge was very close to the a49 trunk road so there was quite a lot of traffic noise.
Anne from Penrith (15 September 2017)

We didn't enjoy it , as outside on the patio I fell as it was very slippery. Hurt my leg wasn't safe at all came home 1 day early
Becky from Pontypool (15 September 2017)

We stayed in a two person lodge - chesnut 4. . the lodge was clean and tidy. There was a welcome bottle of wine. The hot tub was good and well used. If you want a towelling robe hire one for £8 from reception. The pool is small but ok and a £3 charge for a swim and sauna although not exorbitant is an extra you do not pay for at other sites. The site is well used by caravaners. . dog walkers can use a dog walking area, however it would benefit from a gate. Fishing is available for an extra charge. If you want to go into shrewsbury use the park and ride near tesco - at the moment after 9.30 upto 5 adults can travel for £2.50. The lodge is located in a nice area with many privately owned lodges. However you will be affected by road noise just beyond the tree line.
Anthony from Horsham (08 September 2017)

Absolutely beautiful lodge surrounding so peaceful
Angela from Shrewsbury (08 September 2017)

Great for fishing pity u have to pay extra
Michael from Chesterfield (02 September 2017)

Lovely clean park and lodge; very comfortable and centrally located for exploring the area. Our only issue on the park was the lack of privacy on the veranda, but that is because we all faced the lake which was a lovely outlook. We could also hear the a49 quite a bit. But because the lodge was so clean and comfortable we would definitely wish to return. Please make use of the village store / post office; very well equipped and extremely nice staff.
Ingrid from Tyne And Wear (02 September 2017)

Very nice lodge and clean park, hot tub wasn't very "hot" and shame about the main road running to one side of the park
Brian from Doncaster (28 August 2017)

Took my dad to recouperate after being in hospital. We went in may with our dog and had a great week.
Janet (28 August 2017)

Fabulous place, fantastic restaurant, staff very helpful. Booking up for next year.
Barbara from Newcastle Under Lyme (18 August 2017)

The site was clean and pleasant, staff were friendly and very helpful, the lodge was very clean and so was the hot tub, beautifully furnished throughout.
Vivian from Canterbury (14 August 2017)

Really beautiful lodge with a great view of the lake.
Andrew from Minster On Sea (07 August 2017)

Lovely place ,fishing good nice and quiet only one drawback .could not get booked up in the bothy for a meal and you can't use it just for a drink, needs to expand to meet demand as only open 3 days. Seems like a missed opportunity.baring this had a lovely stay
Andrew from West Cliff On Sea Essex (22 July 2017)

Very nice lodge and park however could do with a shop and a place to go for a drink there was a restaurant but you couldn't just go for a drink had to have a meal
Wendy from Nottingham (10 July 2017)

The site is in an excellent area for exploring both shropshire and wales
Gill from York (01 July 2017)

The lodge was lovely, spacious, very clean and welcoming, the site didn't have many lodges on the park. when entering the park you are given the impression the park is situated in the country side. what a disappointment when entering our lodge to find it's next to the very busy a49 when the heavy traffic starts at 6pm.
Yvonne from Essex (23 June 2017)

Average accommodation in cleanish condition. Would have been nice if they had cleaned up the rose petals under the bed left from the last couple. Prepare yourself for the dusty teddy bear left on the bed to purchase. That was a bit weird. Who would want a teddy that's been in a stranger's bed!? hot tub was nice unfortunately we couldn't use it as there was no step to get in and my wife has restricted mobility. They did promise to get steps for us, but non materialised.
Geoff from Herts (02 June 2017)

Easy to access and peaceful this is just the place to go for rest and relaxation. So quiet, all we could hear was bird song. restaurant staff very friendly and food lovely. don't go here if you a looking for a wild time.
Ann (29 May 2017)

Both lakes are packed full of fish. Hard to get through the silvers into the carp, using pole. The 2nd lake which is only fish able by people from the lodges is fantastic, feeder tactics work well for carp to about 9lb. . lodge was great, clean, well set out. . love to go back!!!. . great staff.
Matthew (29 May 2017)

Cabin was brilliant , very clean and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and all the facilities clean and in good order. Really appreciated the complementary bottle of wine. Overall a great few days and lovely surroundings.
David from Wolverhampton (26 May 2017)

We had a wonderful peaceful break. The wrekin lodge was incredible and the bothy restaurant a really special treat.
Jennie (22 May 2017)

Very quiet place to be. love children but when you haven't got any with you beaconsfield park is ideal. Hope to return at some future date.
Brenda from Birmingham (24 April 2017)

Lovely park ,peaceful and very quiet, really nice owners ,only down side no wifi in the lodges ,and lot's of do's and dont's ,on the plus side this is why it's a really nice place to return to one day .
Samantha (17 April 2017)

You are greeted with a list of rules , the swimming pool they offer you have to pay extra for .we booked and paid extra for a hot tub , when we arrived it wasn't nice and private as shown in photo you were in full view of your neighbours window ,no where to hang your towel.big disappointment. No instructions on how to check out , as we had a long journey we left before 9 but reception wasn't open ,no key box it took us 20 minutes to find someone to take our key
Allan from Rochester (14 April 2017)

Lovely log cabin my golden retriver charlie enjoyed it to .
Tracy from Llandudno Junction (31 March 2017)

Only disappointment was that the literature claimed that the shropshire way passes through the park and so ideal for walkers and people with dogs.this is true in theory but not in practice.the walk crosses a huge amount of mud.a very hot summer would dry it out but potential walkers should be aware that the promise of this footpath is not quite what it seems.otherwise excellent.
Jane from Chesterfield (25 March 2017)

A a 5 star rating would say this is an accurate rating
Harry from Derbyshire (24 March 2017)

Had an amazing time at this lodge!! very clean and helpful staff!!
Claire from Coventry (06 March 2017)

Overwhelmed with the standard of the cabin, we stayed in chesnut lodge and it was absolutely perfect!
Angela from Stafford (06 March 2017)

It's nice for a long weekend away
Kellyann from Wrexham (24 February 2017)

Lovely location, an ideal base for exploring the local area.
Rob from Wigan (17 February 2017)

Great standard of accommodation and staff were very helpful. Wonderful location and we will definitely return.
Kirsty from Lincoln (17 February 2017)

Loved the place and the cabin. Lovely views and fantastic area, would go back tomorrow! didn't like however that we arrived at 12pm as we were very early went by and told we cannot come back any earlier than 4pm to check in. We manage to kill time for a couple hours, went back at 3.30pm and the gentleman on the desk then was helpful and let us check in earlier. Maybe be a bit more leaneant on check in times 4pm is very late!!
Emma (06 February 2017)

We stayed at beaconsfield as a treat for my 30the birthday. What an amazing place!! the wrekin lodge is beautiful and i'd highly recommend paying that little bit extra for this lodge, it's definitely worth the money. Lots to do in shrewsbury too!! we will definitely be back.
Charlotte from Accrington (30 January 2017)

Lovely place did not want to leave had 4 days there .
Karen (07 October 2016)

Beaconsfield park lodge, chestnut 4. . we had a lovely week, the lodge was clean and tidy, with an modern interior. The hot tub facility was keep clean and useable. The swimming room and sauna were of very good quality and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. We had a great time and would definitely visit here again. Thank you.
Charlotte (23 September 2016)

All good, lovely and quiet. Nice and relaxing
Scott (23 September 2016)

Great place although you can not get a drink in restaurant if no booked in for meal, restaurant only open friday saturday sunday. We stayed for a week only give 2 bath towels each no hand towels even after asking. All in all had a great time.
Rebecca from Staffordshire (16 September 2016)

Very enjoyable stay
Linda from Marlow/Bucks (09 September 2016)

Peaceful break. Enjoyed relaxing in hot tub. Dog friendly site.
Elaine from Newcastle (26 August 2016)

Not practical for a dog, fencing open at both ends, cream carpets and very small. Could not relax. We paid too much for this lodge which I feel even in school holidays was very overpriced. hot tub was stuck in a corner with no view except a fence panel and bush. This is our 7th lodge now and this was very disappointing in comparison to others. The lodge itself was lovely though very clean and had everything we needed inside. Also photos were nothing like actual.
Couple from Staffordshire (22 August 2016)

Lovely peaceful paek in great location. .very friendly and helpful staff.a visit to the bothy restaurant is definitely recommend. .our chestnut lodge was very comfortable and over looked the lake.would not hesitate to return.
Catherine from Stroud (15 August 2016)

Perfect! staff are excellent and lots of things to do only a short distance away! would definitely come again
Daniel (12 August 2016)

Staff very attentive . cabin clean and very tidy . flowers and wine a very nice welcome. Site well maintain and clean.
John from Leek (05 August 2016)

Site was deserted. No people on there. Pool has restricted hours. Cafe had no food. Restaurant /bar only open weekends. Left early because or the atmosphere. Apart from that the lodge was pristine. Will not book again.
Len from Wolverhampton (29 July 2016)

Site is very nice and peaceful in a lovely location.cabin didn't look like photo on website but was really nice anyway.could have done with a gate on decking to keep dogs in.would definately recommend
Andy from Barrow In Furness (23 July 2016)

Me and my husband visted here for the weekend. Lovely setting, staff friendly, and the lodge was to high standard, with the bonus of a hot tub! lots to do and see around with a short drive. Definatly recommend if you want a peaceful break.
Confirmed Holidaymaker (18 July 2016)

Very relaxing holiday park. Lovely restaurant. Would happily go again.
Rob from Chelmsford (16 July 2016)

Beautiful surroundings. within easy reach of several interesting places to visit. wroxeter vineyard is definitely recommended. lodge was clean and had relaxing furnishings. hot tub was perfect but could do with a roof to aid use if weather not too good. all in all a lovely way to chill away from the busy pace of life and recharge ones batteries. Several places to eat close by and a supermarket nearby. the complimentary bottle of wine and fresh flowers were a lovely gesture when we arrived.
Carol from Manchester (15 July 2016)

We thought we were escaping to peace and tranquility, and it certainly felt that way on the approach. we were stunned to find our lodge was about 50 metres from a very busy main road which was next to a mainline rail track. lorries thundering by at all hours, trains whistling and going by regularly made it impossible to sit out on the deck and we had to keep the windows closed. I am sure the other lodges further from the road were better placed for noise, but we were oh so disappointed, and would not stay there again. we were told the hot tub could only reach a luke warm temperature due to health and safety, which was useless. we joined a local health club for the week and obviously their health and safety limits were different, because it was very nice and hot.
Jane (08 July 2016)

Nice !
David from Nottinghamshire (04 July 2016)

Great holiday ,went there first last year great price. . only to book again this year exact same time only. . 200 pound more, sorry would like to go again, but could,nt afford another price hike like that
Michlea (02 July 2016)

Lovely lodge and hot tub, close to local amenities. Shame there is no wifi in the lodges, that was the one thing missing.
Shelley (27 June 2016)

The park and lodge was beautiful, but the location of the lodge on site was too near the extremely constantly busy road so it was quite noisy at all times and could be heard at night in the lodge. Having to pay an extra £75 on arrival for insurance against cleaning or damage was something we have never been asked for before but this was reimbursed the following week. The dvd player advertised did not work for us, despite the owners son doing all he could to sort it out. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and shrewsbury was a lovely surprise and well worth a visit, as was attingham park. Great weather and a great get away.
Alison from Lancashire (03 June 2016)

The wrekin lodge was absolutely wonderful, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The hot tub is tucked out of sight but still with a calming view. Have already recommended to some friends! will definitely be back to stay here again!
Samantha from Littleport, Ely (03 June 2016)

Great stay. Peaceful and comfortable in a lovely setting. Loved having our own hottub though felt it could've been a bit more private. Wine, milk and waffles were left for us on our arrival which was a really nice touch. Great food at the pub in the village. Didn't sample the on site restaurant as it wasn't open during the week. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. :)
Jenny from Belper, Derbyshire (03 June 2016)

Beautiful holiday park. Lovely people and we were made very welcome. will definitely be going again! every year!
Dawn from Maidenhead Berkshire (30 May 2016)

Not happy about extra charges for the swimming pool
Matthew (27 May 2016)

Best weekend ive had in a long time .. even if I did become a fishing widow .. the hot tub more than made up for it . defo coming back
Sarah from Wolverhampton (23 May 2016)

A wonderful log cabin, hot tub was fab and the swimming pool was lovely. The staff were very helpful and gave us lots of information regarding activities in the local area.
Diane from Walsall (13 May 2016)

We were extremely annoyed at the additional charges once we got there.for example, there was a charge for any visitors you might have. Likewise, there was a charge to use the swiming pool. The restaurant only opened on friday and saturday evenings and in our case was already fully booked when we arrived! they also insisted on a £75 deposit against any damage that might be done. There were a number of other rules which we felt were over the top and we had to sign that we had read and understood them. There was even a charge if you arrived after I think, 1900 hours.
Allan (23 April 2016)

Fabulous!
Rachel from Birmingham (28 March 2016)

With a dog, wooden floors would of been more practical, instead of a light carpet. still would be back again.
Jason from Nuneaton (28 March 2016)

Absolutely perfect! lovely relaxing weekend break. Perfect place to get away and take our dog.
Vicky from Ilkeston (28 March 2016)

Lodge was as luxurious as all the rest we've ever stayed in.
Sandra from Plymouth (12 February 2016)

Really lovely quiet place to stay that is more than relaxing, very clean and tidy upon arrival, great help from staff helping me to find the location of the site in the dark, and help to use the awesome hot tub that was perfect and right on the door step of the lodge. There was a lovely bottle of wine left for us, milk in the fridge and clean towels and toiletries on the bed waiting for us. It was more than comfortable! the restaurant food was beautiful and the staff were lovely too, a chap we met in the steam room raved about the food and he was right after spending years coming to the site. Nice country walks on hand and nice little local pubs in walking distance too, will defiantly look to stay again.
Emma from Birmingham/Bromsgrove (08 February 2016)

It was a really nice relaxing weekend and the log cabin was spotless. The hot tub was amazing and private which was nice. Fully recommend going for a relaxing weekend
Charlotte from Birmingham (08 February 2016)

Friendly and well maintained site very quite & peaceful
Steven from Leicester (04 December 2015)

Really enjoyed our stay
Customer 106 (30 November 2015)

Lovely park with excellent facilities. The lodge was immaculate and very comfortable. The hot tub was great after our busy days exploring shropshire. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Diane from Liverpool (30 October 2015)

We love it here!!! this is our 4th consecutive year we have stayed in the chestnut lodge, so relaxing and peaceful. . our only negative this year is that the restaurant no longer takes card payment, which we didn't realise till shortly before we were due to eat, so had to rush out to find a cash point and estimate how much it was going to cost
Mark from Halesowen (26 October 2015)

Great love the park
Wendy from Leicester (17 October 2015)

Chestnut had everything we needed. Everything was modern and clean, the hot tub was a lovely added bonus! there wasn't much to do around the area so we did have to travel to attractions but the leaflets provided were helpful for ideas as to where we could go.
Emma from Didcot (16 October 2015)

Fantastic stay was made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived, peaceful relaxing and romantic will definatly be going back and cannot recommend enough.
Zoe from Oldbury (12 October 2015)

We wanted a quiet relaxing break and this is what we got apart from some small niggles.the park and surroundings are spot on and will definitely visit again.the small negatives were a joiner started making decking for a lodge close by and when you just want to relax in peace and all you hear is sawing and hammering wood for two days you think why us.apart from this the lodge and facilities are great and staff are helpful.we took a small dog and he settled in very well and enjoyed the dog exercise area, thanks.
Stuart from Liverpool (02 October 2015)

The whole weekend was excellent and I highly recommend this park for an relaxing break
Rob from Beverley (28 September 2015)

Did not like having £75 taken from my bank account. Having to pay for the swimming pool. Reception staff not helpful reported a defect in the hoover cleaner and explained that we were about to go out but will be back at 3pm to be told that the site manager will be to busy at this time to deal with our problem. There seemed to be many rules relating to our stay that seemed to be for the benefit of the owners and not the enjoyment of our holiday . left the "camp"a day early
Alexander from Catterick Garrison (26 September 2015)

Fantastic relaxing break
Debbie from Warrington (21 September 2015)

Our holiday was relaxed and peaceful just what we were looking for.
Paul from Ely (31 August 2015)

Had a lovely, relaxing weekend break in cheshnut lodge, very comfortable lodge and the hot tub was amazing. We ate in the restaurant on saturday evening and highly recommend the steaks, the best we both had in a long time! staff were lovely and helpful, would definitely return, thank you x
Rebecca from Hemel Hempstead (31 August 2015)

Lovely holiday all around
Holly from Leeds (28 August 2015)

The lodge is lovely but too many rules at this site, have stayed at lots of lodges with hot tubs and haven't had lists of what you can and can't do like there. Also you have to pay a 75 pound cleaning deposit which put me on edge to be honest. Not much to do on site and you had to pay to use the pool, which considering how expensive the lodge was I would have expected that to be free. You need to take extra towels as you only get one to use for showers/bath/hot tub. Not somewhere I would go back to as I have been to other sites where it is more relaxed.
Sally from Bath (28 August 2015)

Nice people. Clean and well organised site. Having paid a premium for the hot tub-equipped haughmond lodge we didn't expect to have to pay extra for such "luxuries" as bathing gowns. . . biggest frustration was through an "act of god" where power to the site failed. No hot tub, no electricity at all in fact. Worst of all - there was no one at all to contact - despite trying the emergency number several times. There was also no candles or provision for light during a power out. So we went to bed before 9pm!! no compensation was offered. Not happy.
Richard from Cambridge (24 August 2015)

Stayed here a couple of times now and it is lovely. Great people and lovely surroundings too. If there were more room between the lodges it would be far nicer.
Macdonald from Telford (17 August 2015)

One word...amazing!!!!
Sian (15 August 2015)

Nice quiet holiday park stayed in the wrekin premier lodge it was really nice and the hot tub was great
Joe from Manchester (14 August 2015)

Park was in a nice setting . a very relaxing spot would love to revisit at some stage . great for visiting the surrounding towns shrewsbury whitchurch etc . overall very nice .
Robert from Surrey (08 August 2015)

Lovely accordingly
Diane from Cardiff (07 August 2015)

Beaconsfield park it far to quiet for me,there is nothing bar a couple of fishing lakes for entertainment.it has no club/bar the nearest being driving distance.was dismayed that we had to strip the beds, hoover and mop the lodge or loose our deposit.
Neil from Portsmouth (07 August 2015)

Had a great time so peaceful. Really recommend if you want a sense of tranquility.
Jade (27 July 2015)

Enjoyed our stay very much lodge was immaculate very comfy hot tub was wonderful loved wakin up to mummy duck and her ducklings would recommend and definately stay there again .
Michelle from Nuneaton (24 July 2015)

The site is very near a busy road so there is road noise all the time. it is also near to a heliport and low flying helicopters operate day and night. the site is well spaced out with two nice lakes. there are far too many small fish in the lakes so although there are some large ish carp the little ones take the bait before it sinks. swimming pool is small and only 1 metre deep. rubbish not regularly emptied.
Diane from Gloucester (18 July 2015)

Realy good park, clean, quite, lovely lake, helpfull staff,. will recomend.
Robert from Chertsey, Surrey (17 July 2015)

We had a wonderful holiday. We would definitely return. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Loved the hot tub and the lodge was very clean and a wonderful design . my husband fished and caught many good size fish. Restaurant very good . we loved the area plenty to see and do. We would definitely return.
Wendy from Suffolk (11 July 2015)

Lovely setting close to iron bridge . loads to see and do
Roger from Okehampton (11 July 2015)

Me and my partner love this place been her twice now. We will be coming back every year
Zoe from Birmingham (06 July 2015)

The lodges were very nice and clean. Surroundings were lovely but I would not return for several reasons. The first is that this was the most expensive lodge we have ever stayed in and yet it wasn't the best. Its the first lodge we have ever had to pay a security deposit for; if you're insured this isn't necessary. A small dog is allowed in certain lodges but the list of things they can't do is not what i'd call dog friendly and very restricting for a family pet (not allowed on any furnishings, in bedrooms, keep on lead at all times, not cause a "nuisance" etc). lastly, parties of same sex bookings are not allowed even when from same family. I often go away with my mum, daughters and granddaughter but would not be allowed here. I found the rules a bit harsh and it put me off but I understand they want to keep it nice. However, i've stayed in many places with less rules that are nicer. Just my opinion.
Kerry from Mansfield (29 June 2015)

Not impressed by having to strip the bed before we left. I have difficulty with this at home due to health issues, . but as £75 had been taken as a 'housekeeping' deposit I did not feel comfortable not doing it. . I do think the book handed over on arrival to give info on the area etc, together with the list of 'rules', didn't really need to threaten court proceedings if one didn't pay any invoiced amount for visitors!. . however it was a lovely caravan and we enjoyed our stay but do feel it should have been much more welcoming!
John from Rustington (26 June 2015)

Quite expensive for what it is but the park is lovely and we would definitely consider another holiday there
Janet from Preston (15 June 2015)

Very quiet site during our stay, not a lot of facilities on site, but site is great if you want fishing and a relaxing time.
Jane from Caistor (13 June 2015)

The park and chestnut 2 lodge was lovely. The only downside was the bed was so hard it felt like lying on a quilt on the floor! and the wifi is turned of at night.
Katherine from Llangwstenin (20 April 2015)

Very good
Eric from Gourock (11 April 2015)

Very nice and relaxing, will go back
Timothy from Wolverhampton (06 April 2015)

We stayed in haughmond lodge (18) the lodge was lovely and big. I was a little disappointed that the hot tub was on the side so it was quite open, although we didn't get disturbed, and it also says to not go in the hot tub after dusk, but we did as that is the only time we wanted to use it. Also the smoke alarm directly above the oven was a bit of a problem. Although the lodge was lovely and I would stay here again.
Hannah (06 April 2015)

Lovely clean and spacious log cabin, beautiful surroundings and very friendly site. It was great and only a short drive from amenities. Would recommend this place, hot tub isn't as private as I liked but still private enough and a great added bonus.
Carly from Worcestershire (23 March 2015)

Nice place. Helpful staff. quiet.
David from Cobham Surrey (08 December 2014)

If you just want to escape for a few days this is the perfect place. Good food, lovely pool and the lodges are perfect.
Jason (01 December 2014)

Lovely countryside surroundings and easy to get around in the car. Only disappointment is the restaurant is not big enough and struggled to book in to get a place. Overall though, beautiful place.
Darren (24 November 2014)

The park initially sounded what we wanted , however upon arrival there where too many rules, regulations and extra charges given to us in the information booklet that we hadn't been informed about beforehand. There was a charge for using the main pool, you were not allowed to bring friends to visit for the day unless you paid an extra charge and usage of the hot tub was not allowed after dusk!! thats the time to use it most. we felt as though we were being watched by park staff .
Wendy from Liverpool (17 November 2014)

Amazing relaxing weekend break
Pauline (10 November 2014)

Beautiful place to stay, everything was perfect for us. We have booked again for next year
Zoe from Solihull (10 November 2014)

Excellent
Peter from Eastbourne (01 November 2014)

After a hectic few weeks before we arrived, this was a lovely caravan to stay in and just relax for the first couple of days. (after that, there were plenty of places to visit around the area).
Wendy from Birmingham (01 November 2014)
