Was a great break staff were amazing
Dena from Notts (03 September 2018)

Our lodge was beautiful, clean and had everything we (and the dog needed) would have been perfect if the view from the back and hot tub wasn’t a mound of mud and weeds.. assuming this area is still to be completed. Breakfast was a little slow, would be better if there was facilities to fetch your own drink while waiting for someone to take your breakfast order, we had breakfast twice and both days it was a little on the cold side.
Chris from Derbyshire (03 September 2018)

Lovely lodge with gorgeous surroundings, very relaxing weekend away and would love to return soon
Gill from Manchester (03 September 2018)

Brilliant long weekend. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff
Maxine from Skegness (03 September 2018)

Amazing place, so relaxing.
Craig from Wakefield (03 September 2018)

Beautiful clean lodge in lovely surrounding
Janet (03 September 2018)

This lodge park is in beautiful surroundings with great facilities at the park. . the lodge itself was new and modern but lacked some key basic things. There are no bedside lamps in any bedrooms, no lighting in the hot tub area and no hooks anywhere to hang robes or towels either inside or near the hot tub. . although the park has stunning views i’d be wary of which lodge you’re booking. Our lodge’s decking overlooked the road giving no privacy and our hot tub was completely fenced in to give great privacy but which meant no views at all. . the restaurant serves really lovely food, definitely worth a visit. . overall a great holiday but felt it was lacking the extra details to justify the price you pay.
Alex from Yorkshire (03 September 2018)

Spacious modern accommodation. Loved every minute of our stay.
Trudi (03 September 2018)

The whole experience was top class, from arriving at reception to leaving. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff together with the comfortable lodge enabled us to have a relaxing weekend.
David from Spennymoor (03 September 2018)

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away. They were only a couple of points to mention-our lodge, an optimum 8, was set up as 3 doubles and a twin when I asked if one of the doubles could be changed to a twin they said this wasn’t possible. However the room was obviously a twin as it had 2 head boards and the bed was clearly 2 twins put together. The other point is that we were generously offered free breakfast and booked it for 10 am when I checked in on arriving at the park . however when we turned up for breakfast there was no record of us having being booked in and we had to wait a hour to be seated. . despite these minor issues however we couldn’t fault the park or the accommodation and would definitely return.
Allison from Newcastle (03 September 2018)

Lovely spacious, bright modern lodges . hot tub on the decking , all brand new . highly recommendable
Sarah from Barrow In Furness (31 August 2018)

Beautiful lodges and reception and maintenance staff excellent, the food in the restaurant was cold and staff rude when we arrived at the restaurant so we went elsewhere for food , I spoke to another family staying there and they had the same experience
Gillian from Wakefield (31 August 2018)

Lovely place, staff couldn’t help you enough . the hot tub was lovely . it did say that a dog bed/goodies would be provided but we didn’t get that little finishing touch and we had to wait an hour for the lodge to be ready despite being there after 4pm. Overall a lovely place to stay and would visit again
Rachael from County Durham (31 August 2018)

Excellent all round. Lodges,facilities,service
Tony (31 August 2018)

Location beautiful, lodge amazing, hot tub fantastic. Nothing to much trouble for the staff always so friendly. Definitely will be visiting again
Cindy from Norfolk (31 August 2018)

Amazing place lodges brand new and very clean. Park was amazing , bar and restaurant lovely and our puppy loved the fact he could come with us as everywhere was dog friendly.
Andrea from Hull (31 August 2018)

The lodge was excellent, lovely clean and comfortable. The only issues that we had was when we got there someone had parked in our parking bays and so we had no where to park and the cars didn’t move all weekend. We had to go and knock at a lodge and someone did move a car for us. But not ideal to have to do this. We also didn’t like the path that ran beside our hot tub as people walk by looking at you all the time so this would stop us from coming again. Wouldn’t be a problem if that didn’t bother you. But we prefer the hot tub to be a little more private.
Victoria from Chesterfield (27 August 2018)

Fabulous well equipped lodge with fabulous surroundings, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Lovely and clean and everything you need for a relaxing, stress free break. We also really appreciated the dog bed, bowls, treats and toy that was left for our dog and the lovely park and farm that our grandson really enjoyed. Only small issue we had was the darkness around the site in the evening, apart from that we had a wonder time and will return again.
Patricia from Newton-Le-Willows (27 August 2018)

Our family of 6 adults and 2dogs had an amazing time. . the lodge was exactly as advertised with great facilities , both the lodge and the site were maintained to a very high standard. . we have already and will continue to recommend aysgarth lodges to our friends.
Ann from Doncaster (27 August 2018)

Excellent luxurious well equipped a real little treasure and nick whom works there was an amazing host. Well done
Lynsey from Grimsby (27 August 2018)

Beautiful surroundings, immaculate lodge, comfy beds. Convenient & stylish bar/restaurant. Lovely little petting farm.
Helen from Wakefield (27 August 2018)

No coat hooks anywhere not for coats, towels, robes. With a hot tub facility this made even hanging and drying towels, robes hard and we ended up with damp towels for most the stay. . lodge 56- overlooked in every single window!! the three lodges behind can overlook every part of the lodge, the bathroom, the bedroom, even the living room- straight view of the sofa from the kitchen window. Can’t undertstand why frosted glass has not been used like the door. Therefore blinds had to be pulled down, and led to the bathroom ending up full of condensation and not able to air very well. Even getting in and out of the hot tub can be views by the lodge directly above. . smart tv- these can not be classed as smart!! no iplayer, catch up facilities. Both tv and remotes didn’t work easily with together. Tv did oran own thing, not what the remote requested. No tv guide!! couldn’t even tell what we were watching or when a programme started or finished!. . log burner- these needs to be made clear in your advertising, which suggests lodges have these. . wifi- poor connection all weekend. Kept disconnecting every half hour. Not good when trying to listen to music from our dock.
Linda from York (27 August 2018)

Aysgarth was great. Idyllic surroundings, perfect view! staff on welcome and departure lovely and helpful. Bar staff a bit less cheerful in bar. Lodge presented very well, lovely and clean couldn’t fault it- would have completed the card but couldn’t find a pen :)
Lucy from Suffolk (27 August 2018)

I enjoyed my stay at aysgarth but I felt it was important to share the below: . I was disappointed on arrival to find the blind in my sons room was on the floor and not hanging as a blind. We immediate called reception who advised that someone would come around. . in the end my husband fixed the blind himself obviously as my son would have had no blind in the window he wasn’t expecting to be doing diy on holiday. In the wardrobe was a totally shattered wooden coat hanger thankfully I saw that before my 4 year old. I the bed was an empty share bag wrapper of chocolates. The remote control for the tv was covered in dust and the lamps. My first impressions were quite disappointing for the lodge 20. I was happy with the playground area
Donna from Burnley (27 August 2018)

Brilliant , virtually brand new
Xander (27 August 2018)

Beautiful location, lodges are really spacious and well equipped with everything you need. Fresh towels and robes. Had 5he perfect stay.
Fai from Hartlepool (27 August 2018)

Great staff, lovely lodges and nice food. Very dog friendly, we loved it
Allison from Liverpool (27 August 2018)

This place is amazing and at around half a mile from aysgarth falls and four miles from bolton castle is in a perfect position for day trips. The lodges are very well equipped with a wide variety of utensils for those who prefer to eat in. The company has gone for towels and robes with a view towards luxury which we thoroughly appreciated as these feel so good once you’ve dried yourself off from the hot tub on the decking. Above all else the customer service stood out, nothing was too much trouble and we were even offered a round of drinks when maintenance was required below the decking even though we were out of the lodge on a day out. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this destination and will be looking to return in future.
Andrew from Manchester (27 August 2018)

Wow! this place is lovely and we will most definitely return. Lodge was furnished to a very high modern standard. The little extras for the doggies were most welcoming. You couldn't fault the staff. All members were very accommodating, taking the time to engage in a conversation. Nothing was too much trouble, park setting is immaculate, as well as the restaurant and lodge. Mollys petting farm is definitely worth a visit with a talking parrot. Big fluffy towels, robes and slippers are very welcome after exiting the hot tub. We had a stunning view from our lodge and was enjoyed by all especially whilst relaxing in the hot tub.
Joanne from Co Durham (27 August 2018)

Aysgarth lodges, were very clean and tidy upon our arrive, a little welcome pack to ease us in after a 6 hours drive. The location is so peaceful, but there is enough around for kids to. The friendliness of the staff, nothing was too much. The restaurant and the food weee great. My only concern is- does nick ever have a day off- he was there day and night in one capacity or another, a lovely smiley face always with a joke and very helpful. A**
Claire from Uplyme (27 August 2018)

We stayed in a lodge for 2 people which was quite small - as we joined on to another cabin you could hear absolutely everything from the other cabin- very thin walls. I appreciate the grounds have to be maintained but the grass cutting/ blowers seemed to be every day for hours which made it not very relaxing when sat out on an afternoon
Clair from Pontefract (24 August 2018)

We had an amazing holiday. All staff were accomadating and pleasant. The site was beautiful and clean. The lodge was stunning had everything that was needed and extra.
Joan from Leeds (24 August 2018)

Excellent holiday which was relaxing and in a beautiful location! will definitely be returning!
April (24 August 2018)

Very clean and 5 star lodges. Very relaxing, well enjoyed.
Stephen from Cumbria (24 August 2018)

Visited aysgarth for a long weekend break with my husband. could not of asked for anything better. Lodge was beautiful, clean, modern and well equipped. hot tub was a bonus and we where totally secluded so very private. we visited the restaurant and can definitely recommend the sunday lunch, it was delicious. The ploughman's was so tasty , I couldn't finish it all and I ordered the small!!! sticky toffee pudding was recommended by daniel the waiter who was wonderful and the dessert was worth feeling full for. we asked to borrow a dvd player and the staff were so helpful. The whole park is really well organised and really clean. Cannot wait to go back.
Caroline from Hull (20 August 2018)

Great location and place. John was the most friendliest and helpful guy ever! no complaints about any colleagues but john really went out his way so please pass on our thanks
Leigh (20 August 2018)

The lodge was fantastic for a family holiday and the standard of the hot tub was superb.
Margaret from Bedlington (20 August 2018)

No sleep due to hot tub noise at night - left one night early. The location of the tub needs to be moved away from right outside the bedroom window. No view from lodge and private courtyard area dismal and depressing. Noise from neighbours due to wooden floors and thin walls
Adrian from Durham (20 August 2018)

We love it here, we’ve been twice this year and plan to visit again for new year
Michelle from South Shields (20 August 2018)

The lodge was excellent very clean and well equipped. We found the food in the on site restaurant very good but thought prices were a little expensive.
Lucy from Cumbria (20 August 2018)

Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Just a bit more of a choice on the food menu especially for vegetarians. Had an excellent time and will definitely be going back.
Gavin from Hull (20 August 2018)

Brilliant lodge loverly place and would definitely recommend
Steven (17 August 2018)

Great holiday we spent 1 week in the scandinavian 4 upgraded from the contemporary 4 some nice added touches dog beds, toys and treats, tea coffee milk and biscuits, dressing robes and slippers even a dish washer! which I have never owned myself! the lodge with the private hot tub was amazing! and immaculate! the dogs could stay outside on the veranda safely.
Angela from Newcastle Upon Tyne (17 August 2018)

Booked initially for a long weekend in early july and we all loved it from the first moment we walked into the lodge. The lodges were clearly new, very clean and furnished to a high standard. There were 5 of us in a contemporary 6 lodge and we did not feel, at any time, that we were getting in each others way. The hot tub was enjoyed by all of us and the white fluffy robes meant it was quite often spa day!. kitchens were well equipped, even a wine cooler as well as a large fridge freezer. . the bar/restaurant on site, was a great place to enjoy a couple of relaxing drinks. We were there during an england game in the world cup, so the atmosphere was great, without ever feeling overcrowded. The staff on site were very helpful and keen to ensure that everyone has a good time while they are there. We enjoyed our long weekend so much that we booked again for a full week during august, which was just as enjoyable as the first trip.
Peter from Middlesbrough (17 August 2018)

Loved our lodge it was very clean and spacious the site was lovely too the kids loved the petting farm and we dined at the bar /restaurant three times food was good we found all the staff very friendly and helpful we would definitely stay there again . we do think a few cleaning things could be added to help those staying keep it nice and clean as we found it . overall we would give your site and lodges and your staff a 5 star rating excellent
Valerie from Brighouse (17 August 2018)

Beautiful lodge very modern and clean, immaculate site lovely bar and restaurant. Petting zoo a massive hit with the children. Very dog friendly and lovely dog treat and toy in the lodge great touch. Overall excellent and will be returning in the future.
Mark from Wigan (17 August 2018)

Superb lodge and park.
John from Rotherham (17 August 2018)

Fabulous location, very quiet and restful but within easy driving distance to lots of other lovely places to visit. beautiful aysgarth falls ( make sure you see all three levels) are within walking distance and there is a fabulous mill shop cafe there that is well worth a visit ( I even brought home a pot of the jam they sell and 2 scones). . walking isnt our thing but I know the area is a walkers/bikers paradise as we saw so many doing and enjoying it. . the lodge was very comfortable, very clean, well equipped to a high standard and the staff always pleasant and helpful ( I had seen a review that found the staff who check the hot tubs intrusive - I have to rebut this - we found the staff very nice and one commented how he didnt like to disturb people, but we reassured him that we knew this was necessary for our own health and safety. beside this they would always knock and pause before entering the area). overall we had a fabulous holiday and plan to return again. Not having young children with us, we didnt go to the excellent play area ( which I have to comment is conveniently away from the lodges in order that the peace of others without children is not disturbed) but I have to say if we return with our grandchildren, I know this would be used daily. The lodges positions look to have been very well planned, in order to maintain maximum privacy and relaxation, from what we experienced in our lodge. We did not eat at the restaurant (by choice as we tended to pick up lots of local produce on our trips out during the day and be able to cook in the well equipped kitchen) but did call for drinks at the bar and enjoyed this.
Gillian from Oldham (17 August 2018)

Fantastic week. So relaxing, lovely, clean and a perfect relaxing break. Outstanding in every way. Thank you
Lisa (17 August 2018)

We were there for 1 week and we had no privacy as two lads were laying grass outside of log cabin and hot tub so no privacy. . lots of flies everywhere. On the saturday they refill all the hot tubs so ours took until 4pm to use which was a bit unfair as it was the nicest weather day.
Kelly from Aysgarth Lodges (13 August 2018)

Had a perfect holiday here. Would definately go again. Nothing was too much trouble. Service and care was fantastic
Denise from Wigan (13 August 2018)

The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make our stay was enjoyable.
Michelle from Durham (13 August 2018)

Loved th site and amenities . the petting farm was lovely for the kids as well as the park. . lodges were superb and had amazing views. Fabulous location and would definitely visit again
Claire from Derbyshire (13 August 2018)

The site and lodge were really well maintained. The play area and petting farm were great for the kids. The lodge was high quality. Would definitely return.
Emma from Cheshire (13 August 2018)

Had a really lovely time here with my husband, staff at reception we're so lovely, restaurant staff were amazing. We had the best time ever
Rosie from Birmingham (13 August 2018)

Absolutely stunning lodge in beautiful surroundings. Staff were really helpful and friendly, the welcome when we arrived was brilliant with a glass of prosecco. . playground and pub on site we’re brilliant too. We really enjoyed our weekend here and can’t wait to come back.
Sarah from Wakefield (12 August 2018)

Excellent I have been before however since changed ownership the standard is even higher
Daniel from Doncaster (12 August 2018)

I book a lodge break twice a year and have done for the last 5 years, without a shadow of a doubt this has been the best in every way. We were greeted by the staff at reception who explained the ins and outs of our stay. The park has many lodges, the layout is brilliant and scenic. The lodge itself is like a show home. Great facilities in house and the hot tub was the icing on the cake.
Tahir from Preston (10 August 2018)

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel as if nothing would be too much trouble which after a 4 hour drive was very welcome. This continued throughout the week with all staff kind, polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the site, area and local facilities. The lodge itself was immaculate and we couldn’t fault any aspect of the accommodation. On the one day that we had an issue with the hot tub maintenance staff were there to attend to it before I had walked thet short distance back!. it was obvious that this site has had considerable investment over the last 12 months and there were some areas where minor work was still carrying on, but this did not disturb our break at all. However I think the biggest review of this site is if I lived a little closer I would buy one of these lodges
Chris from Tamworth (10 August 2018)

The resort itself is absolutely stunning, and the lodge was phenomenal. Especially the hot tub . the only thing is there isn’t much to do in or round about for kids to do. Maybe worth a wee disco or pub quiz or something would be fun.
Erin from Fife, Scotland (10 August 2018)

A fantastic holiday in beautiful surroundings. I would highly recommend to anyone
Deborah from Hartlepool (10 August 2018)

Absolutely brilliant, smack bang in the middle for days out to the lake district / morcombe bay on one side and scarborough on the other. Loads to see and do. The lodges are beautiful kitted out with everything even a dishwasher and washing machine, the restaurant on-site was excellent , prices, service and food. Will definitely go back.
June from Addlestone (10 August 2018)

Fantastic.
Alexa from Tyne-Wear (10 August 2018)

Fantastic stay at the lodge. Hot tub fantastic and facilities excellent. Great base to explore.
Chris from Gateshead (03 August 2018)

Loved it, food, staff & location all good. lodge needed more dinnerware and utensils. Plus zazu the parrot needs more stimulation. Maybe move in to bar area when possible we loved him x
Lisa from Manchester (03 August 2018)

Asgarth lodges are situated in beautiful surroundings. The lodges are extremely clean and well presented, having a hot-tub is a real treat and we all enjoyed it a lot. The childrens play park is in an ideal spot so parents can safely watch their children while having a beer or glass of wine. All staff at the lodges are very helpful and cant do enough to make your stay enjoyable. We will certainly go back and recommend any family or couple to go and have a fantastic holiday. I hope asgarth lodges go from strength to strength in the future.
Catherine from Morpeth, Northumberland (30 July 2018)

Yorkshire is beautiful, set near the falls and close to the rugged moors, remote but stunning.will be returning to the dales!
Mark (30 July 2018)

Great
Teresa (30 July 2018)

Omg this place is amazing..... . so clean and beautiful staff were so inviting they left toys for my little doggie. . . the bar staff even brought us a yorkshire pudding and gravy as it smelt amazing out of the blue. . . if your looking for a place with family or friends then this place is the place to be. . . when we arrived we were offered prosecco or fresh orange juice which was much needed after a 3hour drive . . the only thing the cabin needs is a manual on how to use cooker other than that everything was brand new will definitely be returning
Joanne from Hull (30 July 2018)

This is the second time we’ve visited but our first since the revamp and we couldn’t have been more impressed! the lodges are beautifully done to a very high standard, nothing has been left out, the location is just beautiful with plenty to do nearby. Our boys age 6 and 12 both loved the petting farm and the park and visited them both everyday during our week here. The restaurant food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We loved the little touches for our dogs too with the treats, toy, bed and food bowls, the hot tub was fab and private which we loved. Over all it was a 10/10 for us, we can’t wait to come back!
Stacey (27 July 2018)

Beautiful refurbishment on what is a lovely site now, hopefully it will be maintained that way. Very helpful and friendly staff and the surrounding areas are stunning. Very welcoming of pets.
Andrew from Peterlee (27 July 2018)

Great lodge , no faults , very clean , great wi-fi , all new and modern ,, weather made it great too,. hot tub clean and fab.. . tip .. take some fans as lodge made of pvc (gets very very hot day and night) also don't forget fly spray as because of weather loads. No problem as we took both..
Ken from Aycliffe (27 July 2018)

We were so impressed with our lodge. Everything was of a very high standard. The petting zoo was amazing for our daughter. The food and drink were excellent at the onsite pub. The staff could not have been more helpful. We will definitely be back. The overall cleanliness of the lodge and site itself was impeccable. A big shout out to the staff at the petting zoo. The lady was so informative, helpful and friendly.
Peter from Peterlee (27 July 2018)

Wow!!! this site has been totally transformed since our last visit in october 2017. the lodge was 5* and more than met our expectations. everything in the lodge was top quality. big white fluffy towels, 2 bathrobes and slippers included and quality bedding. the hot tub was on the side of our escape plus lodge and was fully screened and totally private. our dog loved her own dog bed and bowls and treats provided. had a smashing holiday and have already booked for this october.
Carolyn from Scarborough (27 July 2018)

Fabulous lodge and stunning surroundings. Great for adults and children alike. Restaurant - great food..not brilliant service, slightly chaotic but well meaning. Woukd definately go again.
Alison from Hartlepool (27 July 2018)

Beautiful lodges, staff can't do enough for you. Bar and restaurant is lovely and the food is great. The area is stunning. We had a perfect week in the hottest summer we've ever had the only negative thing is we never got to use the log burner so will have to come back when it's cold!!
Fran from Bridlington (27 July 2018)

Fabulous location and ultimate relaxation holiday. Ideal for families with dogs. Immaculately presented and very well appointed lodges. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Restaurant was fabulous, as was the children’s farm. Highly recommended.
Fiona from Glenrothes (27 July 2018)

Fantastic holiday . stunning location . excellent lodge filled with all you need for a home from home. Luxury interior and amazing hot tub
Duncan from Aberdeen (27 July 2018)

Lovely setting, lots of places to go to in and around the area. Cabin 15 looked out to the car park of the surrounding lodges. Should have 1 parking space per cabin, visting cars can park at the reception area. Hot tub is sunk so it's easy to get into only thing it's looked over and no view. Everything is thought of in the lodge. Could do with a few hooks for hanging your robes and lamps in bedrooms, living room. . overall it was a very nice break.
June from Glasgow (27 July 2018)

Fantastic location in beautiful countryside.

Nicola from Loughborough (27 July 2018)

This place is outstanding, the lodges are spacious, clean and have everything you need. the hot-tub is the icing on the cake. . . the park is safe and secure and has lots to offer with a petting farm and play area for the kids and an excellent, great value restaurant for everyone. . the staff can't do enough to help you and the location is perfect. can't recommend it enough we'll definitely be back soon.

Stunning location and beautiful cabin. Comfortable beds and modern decor. . we stayed on what felt like the hottest night of the year so maybe some fans and also more towels. . we will most certainly be going back.

Family weekend celebrations. Lodge beautiful..all furnishings & utensils good quality. Plenty space. Staff were all helpful from reception to security guard. Nothing was too much trouble. Petting farm nice addition. Nice touch was dog bed & toys.
David from Liverpool (23 July 2018)

Love tge new cabins. Love the sirrounding area. All good
Karen from Stockton On Tees (23 July 2018)

Lovely, modern well equipped lodge with hot tub. We booked at last minute so our lodge wasn’t in the best spot - hot tub overlooking the car park but the lodges opposite would have been great, with rural views. Short walk to aysgarth falls. Staff helpful and friendly- the children especially loved their welcome packs.
Sarah from Manchester (22 July 2018)

Absolutely superb accommodation, well equipped very clean didn’t want to go home. I definitely recommend.
Bernadette from Rotherham (20 July 2018)

We have been to aysgarth before the renovations , we loved it then and now is even better, the fact you can take your dog into the resterant is one improvement also all the lodges are really nice. we will defernatly come again
Moureen from Pontefracy (20 July 2018)

Excellent choice.lovely new lodge, friendly and helpful staff.would definetly stay again 10/10
Sharon from Jarrow (20 July 2018)

Corinne from Glasgow (20 July 2018)

We had a relaxing 4 night break and loved everything about the lodge and the site.
Elaine from Bradford (20 July 2018)

4 th time i've been and it just keeps getting better and better.
Rod from Warminster (20 July 2018)

Very relaxing and peaceful
Steph from Carlisle (20 July 2018)

Wonderful well furnished and equipped lodge in beautiful surroundings
Ron from Ashbourne (20 July 2018)

Lovely now it’s been refurbished just some of the staff let it down. We had very sensitive issue in our lodge which was reported to staff who immediately said they would rectify the issue but after waiting two hours we went back to reception and was told the previous staff member had gone home and not reported it. Fourth time going thought I was going impressed and then staff don’t get it right
Shaun from Doncaster (20 July 2018)

Loved our time here. Unfortunately my fiance had to have her appendix removed in the days leading up to the holiday so we could not do any of the walking we wanted. We did however manage to relax and enjoy some of the surroundings of the site.
Martin from Doncaster (20 July 2018)

Had a lovely stay as aysgarth lodges. the lodges are beautiful with quality fixtures and furniture, but a few teething problems (toilet seats didn't fit and we're very loose - when the dressing gowns were eventually provided they were brand new and covered us in white fluff as well as the carpets! also lots of dog hairs in the carpet..good job we are dog lovers) apart from this very good. most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. all essentials provided on arrival, even dish washer tablets, however, could do with a little shop on site as the nearest shop is a car drive away. . the restaurant food was absolutely gorgeous, although a little on the expensive side. . . overall although not cheap its a great place to stay.
Debbie from Beverley East Yorkshire (20 July 2018)

We stayed here 4 years ago and decided to come back with our 3 year old. I have to say they have done an amazing job in the refurbishment. The lodges are beautiful, clean and plenty of room. The hot tub was fab. The play area onsite and the petting farm are fantastic. There’s so much to do nearby. I would highly recommend this break to anyone. We will definitely be returning.
Kyle (20 July 2018)

Lovely lodge and hot tub.
Victoria from Doncaster (16 July 2018)

Brilliant location really beautiful countryside and handy for town. loved the very luxurious lodge. Clean comfortable and great staff everything you need for a great holiday.
Janet from Sunderland (16 July 2018)

Location was excellent and lodges new and well equipped. Only issue (lodge3) was that we were on show to all passers by.
Philip from Birmingham (16 July 2018)

Amazing lodge that was like home from home with the comfort and facilities provided.
Tracey (16 July 2018)

The lodge was lovely , hot tub we really enjoyed too. Overall the lodge was clean but we kept finding long dark hairs and also french fries under the lounge rug so the cleaning could be improved . we also missed having a microwave . we would certainly go again as the park / lodges are very nice .
Kim from Chesterfield (16 July 2018)

Excellent stay over a weekend. good location, and the lodge was very comfortable. a few items of the welcome pack were missing on arrival, but the excellent staff soon sorted that out for us.
Robert from South Shields (16 July 2018)

Staff pleasant and very helpful. Special mention to debbie and john keep up the good work guys.
Joseph (16 July 2018)

Beautiful location for a relaxing break. Lodges were exceptional standard..staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the pub was lovely too.
Deborah from Scarborough (16 July 2018)

We had a brilliant holiday. Despite access being from 4pm, we had driven 3 hours to get there and arrived early. Our lodge was not ready until 4.30 due to cleaning delays and we were just left hanging around, eventually offered a round of free drinks. Given a lodge with no gate and a toddler so requested something to block the gap - was there within 24 hours. Disappointed to see the restaurant on site stopped serving food at 6.30 on a sunday. Didn't affect us but if you weren't aware and had had a few drinks there was nowhere to eat
Lesley from Glasgow (16 July 2018)

We had an outstanding weekend. The hot tub was lovely and the lodge beautifully designed. Can’t wait to rebook!
Jo (15 July 2018)

Brilliant!
Sarah from Cleethorpes (15 July 2018)

Wonderful place to visit. Ideal location set near enough to aysgarth for a nip into town for a meal or a drink. lodges were amazing and brand new and of course the hot tub with views were perfect. we didn't stay for food in the onsite restaurant but did have a drink there and was very nice. Lovely spanish waiter, very friendly and knowledgeable about the site. Only downfall was no on-site shop for picking up odd items but not a problem as other options are close enough. I would recommend this place to anyone. Was a fantastic relaxing break. Expensive but well worth the money. Will be back
Kimberley (15 July 2018)

The staff were extremely courteous in all cases and went the extra mile to ensure that we had a lovely holiday. the telephone calls before and after our visit were much appreciated.
Pat from Halifax (13 July 2018)

Very relaxing and clean. Would definitely return.
Ashley from Scarborough (13 July 2018)

A stylish, comfortable, lodge in beautiful surroundings. Kitchen equipment rather minimal but good quality with every else well thought out, clean and attractive.
Jill from Leeds (13 July 2018)

Loved the lodge it was perfect and brand new.
Robert (13 July 2018)

Fantastic holiday with my fiancé and our two labradors! nice walk from the lodges to aysgarth falls through the fields! good at the on-site restaurant was good quality! hot tub clean and lovely enclosed decked area for the dogs to come in and out as they pleased through the day/night. Lodge very modern and beautifully decorated with comfy bed and enough space for us!
Joanna from Holywell (13 July 2018)

Fantastic weeks holiday with our 4yr old and 8wk old baby. Contemporary 4 lodge was stunning and I loved the horizontal layout - from the veranda/hot tub I could see each of the bedrooms as they were at either side of the living area. . the lodges are of an exceptionally high and luxurious standard, everything from the bedding to the quality of the kitchen crockery. There is even a cupboard of plastic wine, champagne and drinks tumblers provided. The hot tub was fantastic! . wifi was perfect too which is unusual in other sites. . . we had to be moved lodges as our hot tub was broken, I was pleased as I didn’t like the walkway directly next to our veranda and immediately next to the river (tons of wasps and flies), we got an identical lodge with a stunning view that had an enclosed more private veranda. . . i’d suggest having all verandas with an enclosed gate for child safety and privacy, also making the glass on veranda frosted/tinted as it was very open to people walking by some of the lodges which I didn’t like. In our first lodge dog walkers walked by often and my little girl would chat - it made me feel nervous, also when in the hot tub people could see right in which wasn’t ideal. . . i’d return in a minute as it honestly was so good and a very beautiful place. Don’t hesitate in booking this
Julie (13 July 2018)

Love the dales, lovely cabins and super hot tubs had a brilliant week will definitely be back !!!
Lynn from Hull (13 July 2018)

Fantastic can't wait to go back
Bernadette from Dewsbury (13 July 2018)

Beautiful park and lodges. Very clean, modern, spacious and well equipt. We had an amazing time and will definitely book again. Love the dog bed, toys and treats that were left for our dogs but needs to be a little something for the children too.
Jillian from Leeds (13 July 2018)

Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night break here, we booked a contempary 4 for 2 adults and our small dog. . . the lodge was absolutely beautiful, felt that I could live there, plenty of space, comfortable living area and bed with good quality bedding ( robes and towels were lovely and thick). all kitchen equipment was top of range and was enough for what was needed. . . we had the most beautiful weather too, and was able to take advantage of the decked area quite a lot. . . will be returning.
Emma from Sunderland (13 July 2018)

A fantastic holiday. The park is lovely and clean, very quiet and nothing is too much trouble. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant on site is absolutely gorgeous and so well presented. We can't wait to go back
Helen from Bridlington (13 July 2018)

We were so impressed with the place that we will definitely be back. The lodge is fabulous, clean and have great views of the mountains. Hot tube was amazing and ready for use on arrival. Site is clean and well laid out.
